It looked like it needed to be updated Hot water went away. The drain didn’t drain very good. Ran out of towels and was hard to find someone to get more. Pool was cracked and concrete was breaking away. Pool was also dirty and had trash everywhere

I love the fact that it was clean and in a good area close to good food places and a good gas station. There was a broken door, but I don’t believe it messed with the safety of the building.

Lobby and Breakfast area was such a nice, big open area which I liked! They also had an ATM that came in handy. It’s right off a very busy road but that doesn’t take away from the hotel itself, it was a great stay.

It was quiet, clean, and convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful. Many restaurants in the area. Love the lemonade, water, and coffee station. We stayed to go to a concert at the Bell Auditorium. It’s only 9 miles away!! The floors were a little oily in the bedroom. Other than that it was clean.

Would have loved an indoor pool. Also would have been nice to have washer and dryer that was card activated. But overall great experience!

Overall stay was good. Breakfast was a bit disappointing when the hot water is empty, there are no cinnamon rolls and someone had to ask for the French toast… all while I observed the staff sitting in the prep room surfing on their phones. Other than this, stay was good.

The facility was clean. The breakfast bar was delicious. Everything was clean, no smells. What we didn't like is there were two roaches in our room. I did report this to the front desk.

The clerk that checked us in was very nice and helpful. When we got up to our room the door would not lock when we tried to leave and the phone did not work. I called down on my cell and he was so helpful he came right up and switched us to another room.

The hotel is nice & the employees are professional. However I was in a room at the front of the building near a busy highway which meant too much traffic noise. Also a building in the next lot was being demolished, so noise from that as well. Free breakfast is no good, and I'd say you're better off going out to pay for breakfast. Pillows are too soft. All in all, I wish I had picked a different hotel. I left a day early and assume Expedia won't refund the cost of that one day. Would be nice if they did.

We were there to visit Fort Eisenhower. It was a convenient drive. Rooms were clean and large.

It is very quiet inside and outside the hotel. There is a cookout and a McDonald's across the street, and a gas station is right next to the hotel.

Clean and up to date. The receptionist gave me a hard time checking in. First told me I didn't pay yet. Showed him the confirmation then changed it to we need a card on file, I showed him the card then he told me he couldn't use a that card it must be the one used on the booking. When I told him it's the same card I used to book he then said I couldn't use that type of card. After asking why, he took the card and processed the deposit hold on that card he said he couldnt take. I felt like all that was unnecessary.

Light in room didn't work. HAC system so loud. Made the bed vibrate. Woke me up at least six times. Had to put ear plugs in. Shower head and handle was loose, obviously not connected to any stud for support. Railing was not properly installed, thus the shower door would not close. Thus, cold air in and water spilling out. Big puddle on the floor when I was done showering. Original founder of Holiday Inn would be very sad if he saw the condition of this building. I will think long and hard before I stay in a Holiday Inn in the future.

The choices for breakfast were extremely good and the best bacon ever, nice and crisp! The location was easy and very close to Fort Gordon where our son/grandson was graduating from a class there. The sofa bed in our room which we planned to use had no sheets or pillows provided. At 11:00 p.m. when that was discovered, we had to go to desk and pick up some. The clerk ws very congenial and willing to get them for us. Didn't get pillows since we forgot to ask for them but since there were 4 on the kingsize bed, we used one of those.

Good location Elevator was dirty, one day during my stay, water was coming out kind of brownish from the toilet and the bathtub. Bad experience.

Did a staycation so it was conveniently located to all things I need as well as home in case of emergency. The only Downside was my tv didn’t work lol. But other than that it’s a really awesome hotel.

The entire hotel smelled of urine. Especially the room itself and the lobby. Graffiti was all over elevator walls. If I had known this before booking it I would have booked elsewhere. People who worked there were nice.

The breakfast was good and the staff was excellent. The cleanliness of the room and condition of the hotel.

Didn’t realize that it’s under construction. The elevator looked really sketchy getting on and off. Our room under the air conditioner we had wires hanging down.

My stay was average. I checked into a room late at night and the first problem was the TV did not work and had no signal. I was so tired I just took a shower and went to sleep. I woke up and got ready for a family gathering and then noticed my in-room safe box was locked open by the previous guest and therefor took all my valuables with me in my car. I stopped by the desk to inform the lady working the desk to have it corrected for my late return. I was surprised that nothing was corrected. I did manage to get the TV working from her instructions and just stored my valuables in my car the three-day trip. The bed was wonderful, and I slept great. The pool and gym areas were nice. The breakfast seemed to be a big hit, but we went out to eat every morning.

The sheets were dirty and brown, the carpet was stained. The shower curtain was brown and stained with mold. Needs a serious refresh. The owner needs to invest in a refresh. I heard other people complaining about the same things.

We called for coffee on Sunday and no one ever brought it up plus they were vacuuming and talking very loudly right outside outdoor after I had already knocked on the door and asked them to keep it down

The staff was amazing! From the gentleman that checked us in, to the wonderful woman that checked us out, they were very hospitable, kind and helpful! The room had bugs on the ceiling that we had to kill before putting anything down! We inspected the beds and bedding and sprayed them with alcohol, but didn’t see anything else. The carpet was filthy, the bathroom needed some TLC, so hopefully, the facilities get better after the remodel. The staff is amazing, keep them!

Dean at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate each and everyone of our needs in order to ensure our stay was comfortable. We was so pleasant and kind. Rooms were clean and very spacious, especially the suites.

Lady at check in was not friendly. Person in front of us said i have never been treated so rudely in my life. Hotel was not prepared. Rooms were not ready. Ironically had dinner with friends who are staying at same hotel and described same experience. Employee issue on how to treat people was problem.

The room was dirty. The bed had no sheets. Ask the staff to take care of the bed and they just brought me sheets. They didn’t care about the condition of the room. Worsted holiday inn express I have ever stayed at. Stay away!

Beautiful property and very quiet

Staff were great and super helpful, but this place is beyond tired, it was the worst IHG facility I have stayed since becoming a member in 1999. The beds seemed clean but the rest of the place needed lots more than a fresh paint job. The elevators were a disgrace. The dust on the floor lap was much as I have seen anywhere.

There's nothing I didn't like.

When we arrived, the room was not ready and the staff was not concerned. We had to leave and come back in 1 hour. The room was unclean with food and toenails found on the floor. When asking the housekeeping staff for towels, we received a major attitude as if we were inconveniencing them. There was constant yelling at night in the parking lot. We checked out one night early.

Staff were courteous and accommodating. The building appears to be old and needs updating. Hallways on the room floors were very dark, needs better lighting. Furniture (chair) in my room was broken and unsafe to utilize. Vents in lobby near elevator had build up dust that has not been cleaned in a while.

We enjoyed our stay very much. This was actually our second trip to Augusta this month and had stayed here before. The staff were friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well kept- the parking lot , the lobby, hallways and the rooms. Great location to Ft Gordon. We’ll definitely be staying again!

This is the worst Holiday Inn I have ever stayed at. Nothing like the pictures. Run down, dirty, bugs and overall gross.

This is a janky ass hotel that just has a Holiday Inn Express logo slapped on it. Which wouldn’t be a problem if it was priced that way. Half the parking lot was pitch black. Front door was broken. Lobby is nice. Room smelled like gallons of Dollar General air freshener. Toilet ran & had huge iron stain. Room door hinges held door open. Bathroom door handle broken. The outlet by the nightstand had a constant beep.

My room was ok the issue was the bathroom had no shower curtain and inside the bathtub was dirty and gross

The issue i had is that website states they are pet friendly and they are not. They gave me a hassle about gwtting a refubd until i had to sight false advertising

The walls were very thin so we heard everything from all the rooms around us! It was disturbing! Did not sleep well cuz of all the noise. Also they did not have daily cleaning service. Only every 3 days. So we had to request new towels and empty our own trashes. Not what you expect when you pay $100 a night!

Hair was left in the bathroom. Mouthwash was left OPEN. Remote was left out with crumbs on it. Nothing felt sanitizer to make us feel safe or make the room feel or smell disinfected to make us comfortable. We stayed at another hotel the night before & it was amazing. Traveling during a pandemic with children is already nerve wrecking. We were definitely expecting better from the Holiday inn express.

Arrived and the first thing was the tires of the luggage cart were almost flat, then I saw the air duct were dirty and to top it off the elevator was also a mess! Then stayed here 10 days and not a single day they serviced the room!!! Thank god I was by myself in a two beds room, so slept in one bed for five days and in the other one the rest. This after staying in another Hilton in the area and paying the same nightly rate, but for a much worts service!

No wifi at all, and no reason givin why, wont stay their again, vending machines out of order..not impressed.

No help with luggage and infant child, the room I purchased was not available . I just needed the cart for all our bags and nothing was available so I had to make several trips with my baby and bags from the first floor to the second

hate to say the worse Holiday Inn Express ive ever stayed in. we always use this Hotel chain while traveling. no breakfasts , no coffee at all in the lobby, given a bag with a granola bar, apple, muffin and a small bottle of water in it every morning. sorry cant blame it on covid because half the guests didnt even use masks and a few at your front desk.

The room smelled like wet moldy carpet. The shower door did not stay closed. It kept rolling open putting water on the floor.

My experience/stay was not so good. I had issues with the cleanliness of the bathrooms. I had to be moved twice to different room by the third room everything seems to be ok...however due to the mishaps the staff was always nice and friendly and willing to help.

We have stayed here many times over the last five years. Hotel room was not as clean as in the past. Room had not been vacuumed. Surfaces had a layer of dust. There was something sticky on the floor and stairs of the stairwell. Breakfast to go bag was all carbs. A Muffin, a granola bar and an apple. They did not have a diabetic friendly alternative.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. When booking it stated the room had two queen beds and a sofa bed but when we got there it was just two queen beds. The lady at the front desk upgraded our room, no questions asked, at no additional charge, which was nice. The room only had one king bed, a full size pull out, and a twin pull out bed. Both pull out sofa beds were so uncomfortable so half of us had a horrible nights sleep. We ended up borrowing a blow up mattress from a family member, which still not great but better. No room service because of covid19 unless you call and ask for specific stuff, which I understand. They did provide sheets/blankets/towels on request. Breakfast consisted of a brown bag with a muffin, apple or orange, granola bar, and water bottle. We picked up breakfast elsewhere most mornings. It was also very loud being near the main road. Lots of trucks and loud vehicles driving by. Pool closed like most. For the money you are spending and not get the same service, breakfast, and amenities, I think they should not be charging as much.

It seems they dont take the trash out a lot. Gabage was building up in all the trash cans over flowing.

The room was great, comfy bed, clean bathroom, small fridge and nice size tv if you feel like staying in. The location was great in my case since I was conducting business at fort gordon and gate 1 is located literally down the road; restaurants and lots of amenities are all a very short drive away.
