Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is also a highlight, being close to hospitals and restaurants. However, noise from traffic and thin walls are common complaints. Breakfast quality varies, with some guests finding it mediocre or lacking in options.

Location to the hospital. The restroom set-up in the room was not ideal and the sink in the toilet side did not drain well. Be sure to pull the door and clean behind it in the bathrooms.

I've been here for many days as it's close to the hospital, the staff has been very friendly this entire stay, very helpful with needing to extend stays, and I see the maintenance crew keeping up the property, it's nice to see the work they put into keeping the space clean and looking nice.

We arrived around 5:30 and the room wasn’t ready, which gave us a lot of anxiety because we were going to a concert that we paid a lot of money for. The staff just wasn’t very helpful or apologetic that it wasn’t ready. Also, if you’re trying to get to the airport, be prepared to get an Uber otherwise they will only take you to the train station to get a train to the airport. Other than that everything was good. The rooms were very nice and clean.
- 5/5
Great place to stay.
- 2/5
Overall very poor experience. Most of the staff is rude and unhelpful. The room had lights that were not working in the bathroom and the room door mechanism was broken. After requesting daily housekeeping, we were told it was not noted during check in. If you're not there for the hospital, the location is inconvenient and in an awful area. Not at all up to the standards of a Marriott hotel. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel.

Clean, spacious rooms, excellent water pressure, good amenities. The only thing that bothered me was being charged $10 for parking and not being told about it.

Very clean. Updated. Good breakfast. It was in a good location for what we were there for . I wish there was a closer store or food options . The area can get quite congested .

Staff was incredible, as always. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn’t great. We ended up getting more food at the hospital. The coffee and flavored water was good though!

Security awesome Room and breakfast awesome Kids said the pool was kinda ok
- 2/5
Staff, especially the evening/night crew the night we stayed, needs to be more courteous. And professional.
- 5/5
Was clean an comfortable
- 4/5
The front desk clerk Tiffini was unprofessional and rude upon arrival. Didn't welcome us in, verly uttered a word when we asked something. She didn't provide any info about breakfast time or if the pool was opened. Her handwriting was unintelligible and when we asked what number she had written down she replied in a very rude manner. Every other employee we encountered was awesome. Very polite and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable.
- 3/5
Small pool. Breakfast wasn’t good. Couldn’t find coffee. Beds were comfortable and room was clean.

Small gym, Internet speed was good, excellent breakfast, small bar open evenings -with small small bites
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful.
- 5/5
Staff(!) - so helpful and accommodating with my open-ended stay due to a family member at UCH-Burn. Cleanliness of room - excellent. Convenience to hospital and dining - excellent. Parking - safe and convenient.
- 4/5
Fine overall, but i dont think their equiment was keeping the hot bar options at the continental breakfast hot enough.
- 2/5
We did not have hot water, we let all 3 of our faucets run for half and hour and it never even got warm! Breakfast was quite bad as well! The front desk staff was very good, they told us to let the water run which did not work. They also gave us 4000 Marriott points which equates to like $32 off another stay! $32 dollars does not seem like enough for a cold shower, bad breakfast and a strangely designed room that blows cold air right on the bed every time the heater comes on!

Very good
- 5/5
Everything was great. Will be staying here again.
- 3/5
It was ok. I wish they would have come to make up my room at least one of the five nights I was there, even when I asked. Can’t figure that one out given that’s one of the basic functions of a hotel. Oh well.
- 1/5
Motel wouldn’t allow us to check in without debt card in hand. I have if that matches name on card, Apple Pay with same card Info. I, unfortunately, left home in a hurry due to a medical emergency. My son was admitted to the icu at childrens hospital in Denver and we need a place to sleep in the midst of a very stressful situation. We won’t be using Marriott or Travelocity unless this is resolved.
- 5/5
Room was very clean and nicely organized. The staff vey kind and accommodating to us. My family and I are very pleased with Springhill @ Medical Center. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
- 5/5
Everything was lovely, but Tiffany was incredible - she had so much care and compassion for us (our son had just had surgery), and she was helpful in so many ways!
- 5/5
First stay here and it felt safe and clean.
- 5/5
Room was spotless and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
I was a good stay, close to hospital.
- 5/5
Clean room and pool was nice
- 5/5
Very convenient to the UC Health Center and the facility itself is terrific. Loved the rooms with separate bathroom and shower and the room itself is very roomey. Will stay there again in a few months. The front desk people were so pleasant!
- 5/5
spacious
- 1/5
Horrible experience!! Upon getting ready to get into bed and pulling covers back I found bugs in the bed!! Then the hotel refused to give a refund for the room! Pictures were taken and sent to the general manager. Just Awful!!
- 4/5
The light streaming in to my room under the door from the hallway.
- 5/5
Great place to stay near the hospital. The breakfast was good, but it would be nice to have more items available for those who do not eat gluten.
- 5/5
Great property. Clean and quiet
- 4/5
Nice room layout plus convenient to Anshcutz Med campus.
- 5/5
Everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. Our room did smell like weed tho when we checked in. The desk gave some spray, but that was bad. Everything else was completely wonderful.
- 4/5
The young gentleman that checked us in was polite and friendly. Upon checking out the female at the counter was not as friendly and seemed put out to have to do her job. All the times before our breakfast experience was great but this time wasnt. They were out of hot food and had to wait several minutes for more food. When it came out the bacon was cold and not as advertised for that day and food help was also not friendly
- 5/5
Super close to Anschutz and the VA and surrounding medical campuses
- 2/5
Don’t think I’ll be staying at this location again if I can help it. First, there was the approximately 1 hour wait for a disabled accessible room within the check in window. Secondly, the AC unit was loud and noisy resulting in a not-so-restful night at all. Could have simply called to request a new room; however, given the wait encountered for a disabled accessible room the confidence in getting a new disabled accessible room was not high. One positive was the associate, Blair, who attempted to soothe the delay in getting into the paid-for-in-advance disabled access room.
- 4/5
Everything was as expected for a hotel of this caliber. However, it was quite surprising to find the laundry room completely out of service. All three washers were there—none of them working.
- 3/5
room was loud due to the road, there was no liotion or blowdryer in the room

Furniture (couch and chair) was not comfortable

The staff was friendly n helpful. Parking n location were factors in selecting this location. Breakfast selection was great. I will return.
- 5/5
Our stay was most pleasant and included a visit to the pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. I think the place could use a few more luggage carts, because there were a couple of times when these were unavailable. Other than that, I hardly recommend this hotel.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Only problem was we needed a late checkout and they couldn’t accommodate other than 30 minutes
- 4/5
The staff are friendly and quick. The area is busy and not too quiet at night. However it is located near the Anschutz campus and children's hospital so that makes sense.
- 5/5
I had a nice stay
- 5/5
Clean room. Plenty of space for the family
- 5/5
Sean, who checked us in, was excellent. The hotel itself is nice and clean, with a great breakfast and friendly staff. The surrounding area is great, and has many small restaurants within walking distance.
- 3/5
So far it's okay
- 5/5
Great hotel for the hospital
- 3/5
Staff was friendly. Breakfast was great! However the pool was very dirty. Great location by the freeway. Our room was clean.
- 5/5
Would stay here again.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating!
- 3/5
The sheets and the pillows smells weird thank goodness we took our own.
- 5/5
Good thank you
- 3/5
The air conditioner in our room was old and rattled, the casing was broken and didn’t fiit on properly, the sofa covering was stained on multiple surfaces, who ever cleaned the bathroom failed to clean behind the sliding door and their was a dried fluid I believe to be bile, I’ve stayed here many times because of its great location to the hospital, some rooms are better than others, i
- 5/5
Great stay
- 4/5
Power went out while we were there over holiday weekend. Staff still worked very hard to get breakfast out as close to time as possible despite being hindered by power outages. Very accommodating.
- 5/5
I wish I had caught his name.
- 4/5
Great access to Anschutz UCS medical center.
- 5/5
Great place for a short stay
- 4/5
Hotel was good desk help was not so friendly. The pillows are you soft and flat and bed was bet hard and flat
- 4/5
It is a very good location if you need to do anything at either UC Health or the VA. It could use a bit of sprucing up and just vacuuming in some common areas. Soap in the bathroom to wash hands after toileting would be nice. This was provided after we requested it. All of the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay.
- 4/5
Nice property and rooms overall, yet, while offering coffee and tea service at a station open "24/7" it does little other than look nice if the beverage (HOT water& cofee) are never filled. This was my third stay at this location for the convenience and closeness to the medoical centers, and never has there been coffee or tea available at night, only during breakfast are they checked/refilled. An easy fix!
- 4/5
Comfy rooms!!!!
- 5/5
Maybe switching windows to be quieter. Was able to hear helicopters take off and land throughout nights stay.
- 3/5
Rooms were dirty, hallways dirty. It was not what I expected. Didn’t complain to front desk because I’m not that person, I keep to myself. Front desk staff was friendly.
- 5/5
Worked perfectly for a hospital visit.
- 5/5
Great stay, thank you.
- 5/5
Great reception staff
- 5/5
Clean and close to hospital
- 5/5
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ok. They only have a few options for dinner but there are lots of restaurants close by. Will stay there again

When I checked in it was a little busy so by the time I was serviced the employee was nice but I could tell a little aggravated. I was given a room, walked there, couldn't get in, walked back. He redid my key. Walked to the room, didn't work, walked back. The employee then walked with me to the room, his key didn't work either, walked back to the front desk. I was crying at this point as I just needed to lay down after seeing my son go through something horrible at children's. He gave me a new room and key. That finally worked. It was humid in the room but nice. The location to children's hospital and the comfort of the bed was the best part.
- 4/5
Walkable to Anschutz Medical center. Lovely room design, modern, better than the grey and black itif in many hotels. Mediocre breakfast and very limitd bar.
- 4/5
The toilet in the women’s bathroom was leaking. I saw a maintenance cart, parked outside the restrooms and went back several times to notify the person, but they never came back to their cart.
- 4/5
The night attendant working the weekend was amazing!!! The gentleman there Monday morning was rude. Also many housekeepers Monday and Tuesday were very rude.
- 1/5
Staff rude facilities dirty
- 4/5
that the pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. No ones fault, just timing.
- 2/5
Noisy room next to ours. Lobby had about 30 people so loud couldn't have a conversation. Front desk male was so timid he wouldn't couldn't resolve ant issues. Email GM and never received a response.
- 5/5
Affordable, comfy beds and good breakfast included!
- 4/5
The hotel staff is excellent and helpful. The room was a bit worn but passable. Breakfast was good…typical for included breakfasts. Surrounding area is questionable for safety and noise from hospital ambulances and police sirens all night.
- 5/5
2nd stay for me in this place and I loved it both times.
- 5/5
Loved the suite with the extra couch and desk space. The bathroom split into toilet and sink, shower/tub and second sink was convenient for two people getting ready. Only downside was no hair dryer or lotion bottles supplied, just large refillable bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower.
- 2/5
The Staff is also disengaged to the point of rudeness, both on the phone and in person, and not the least bit helpful when guests ask questions or make requests. The location is convenient (Children's Hospital), but honestly that is the only good reason to book here.
- 5/5
Very convenient for our appointments across the street! Staff is always helpful and polite.
- 4/5
Right across the street from the hospitals and medical school; one of the more upscale hotels to be found on East Colfax.
- 5/5
Had a good free breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 2/5
Our furnace didn’t work, WiFi kept dropping, and there were ants in our bathroom.
- 5/5
We loved our stay and will stay again!!
- 5/5
This is a great place to stay!!
- 5/5
We love this property for when we visit childrens.
- 2/5
Have warm welcome and invitation to help our selves to coffee and tea. Coffee was cold. Decaf was empty. Hot water was cold. No herbal teas, only caffeinated. He said there was decaf in the rom. There was not. Rom temps was 58 dégrées. Outside was 14 dégrées. Took 3 hrs to get room temp to 67. Roms that are désignâtes to pré ck in clients should be warm by ck in.
- 4/5
close to the hospital
- 2/5
The pool was freezing. Wefor about 5 minutes to check in as no one was around
- 4/5
Very close to the hospital.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and affordable.
- 5/5
Shuttle was great - and the driver! Breakfast was delicious!
- 3/5
It was ok . Pretty average.
- 5/5
Property was perfect for its convenience to Anshutz Medical Center. Will definitely stay again for my next procedure.
- 5/5

- 5/5
We have always wanted to stay here because of the convenience to the hospital but it always seemed to be so expensive. This time it was within our budget so we tried it. It was very nice. Nice room and everything was clean and well kept. We would love to stay here every time we have ointments at CU medical
- 4/5
The breakfast was not great.
- 5/5
Amazing
- 1/5
Will not stay at this location and do not recommend…
- 4/5
Heater didn't work but we were just staying for one night so I didn't bother alerting the front desk. Also there was an angry homeless dude outside in the parking lot yelling at 5am that I wished security would have asked to leave I was a little sketched out loading my car up but other than that it was a very clean and quiet hotel.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were great. The location was right across the street fro children's hospital which was perfect. Housekeeping and maintenence need to improve. We had to change rooms because the lights did not work and the trundle bed was broken in a way that someone could get hurt on the splintered wood. The second room had toys and alcohol bottles under the couch when pulling out the trundle. The sheets for the couch were dirty with unidentified brown stains.
- 3/5
rooms are small and need refurbishing
- 5/5
I was on solo trip which was clubbed with a training at the Anshutz medical campus.Tge checkin and stay were super seamless.Rooms were spacious clean and had great lighting. They had 24/7 washer drier service at affordable rates. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only negative was there was no dedicated locker in the room .Breakfast was reasonable but the in room microwave definitely helps some customised cooking during prolonged stays!
- 5/5
Young man at the check-in desk was very helpful
- 4/5
Bathroom vanity mirror did not work. Elevators smelled like pesticide
- 5/5
Easy entry
- 5/5
Was great location for medical appt. Staff that checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again if needed.
- 4/5
My room smelled as if someone smoked in it. I did like having extra space including office space.
- 5/5
It was clean, quiet and the staff was always friendly. It was nice to be so close to the hospital.
- 4/5
Did not feel safe alone, walking to the UCuniversity Hospital to visit my daughter who was there after surgery.
- 5/5
Close to UC Health, the parking, friendly staff, clean rooms.
- 5/5
Nice shower and comfortable bed!
- 4/5
Very clean and staff is nice. The breakfast was mediocre but it was free.
- 2/5
Not a very clean hotel or a good neighborhood. It bothered me to leave my car outside and not in a parking garage since a lot of crime is around here. I went to the bar to grab a drink and there were some creepy drunk men there, so I left because I did t feel safe. I would not stay here again.
- 5/5
Springhill Suites is so conveniently located. I stay here every time I have appointments at Anschutz UC Health. It’s a short walk away, but also provides transportation. The staff is all friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also good. We will continue staying here whenever we have appointments at UC Health.
