The staff were very nice. Darryl was very helpful the night before I arrived, I called and he assured me that everything was set to go. Wilomina made it feel like home with her personable conversations. Bryce assisted me with any late night requests.

Had two rooms and the beds in 405 the bedding had never been changed. I took photos went to desk clerk first night, went to desk-clerk yesterday went to the desk today. They said they would have a manager contact me. I have yet to hear from the manager.!!! very disappointed because I’ve stayed at this hotel once before.
- 4/5
My only complaint was that our bedspread did not seem fully clean. There were marks of makeup or something on the cover that my child and I hadn’t even touched. I did check the rest of the room and it seemed to be in order, but that was off putting. Breakfast was also limited in options but not bad at all. I would stay again, but I would definitely check linens before use.
- 4/5
I liked the breakfast The valet parking was terrible and expensive
- 4.5/5
Pretty much everything. The shower head was terrible, no pressure.
- 3.5/5
The vibe The food not much to chose from
- 4/5
The hotel seemed as if it needed a little bit of a wash and freshen up. We had two TVs in our room and neither one worked. The valet also lost our AirTag. The valet manager was amazing and replaced it right away which was super kind of her.
- 4/5
Did clean our room for four days.
- 3/5
The hotel was close to the harbor, which was convenient. One lady at the front desk was very kind and offered us discounted tickets for the Aquarium, which we appreciated. The check-in experience could have been better, as the receptionist on duty at the time did not make much effort to communicate clearly. The biggest issue was the noise from nearby nightlife venues, which made it very difficult to sleep at night. Breakfast was very basic, with no fresh options, so missing it on our last morning because it closed earlier than expected did not feel like a great loss.
- 4/5
The hotel was located in a "rough" section of downtown BUT once you're inside the hotel and the room, it was very clean and well-maintained. The single bed room was very spacious, bathroom was clean and well stocked and the complimentary breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty. Good job by everyone!
- 4/5
However at the point of reservation payment was advised to be made at the property but was debited immediately i presented my details online. Total amount paid being amount charged if reservation is canceled

The property is an old bank which I love history and anything antique. The staff was friendly and made suggestions for local outings. There is an old money vault downstairs. Breakfast was good and the location was close to restaurants and shopping. However I did not like the view of the 11th floor. It gave me jailhouse vibes as the windows are small and the outside is not viewable. Overall the stay was great.

We didn't get to have the breakfast because the staff at the desk told us when we arrived the breakfast was until 10. We awake to go have breakfast and the staff said it closed at 9 and 10 o'clock was only on weekends and it was clearly We came in on a Monday. There was no help from the desk staff when we arrived other than taking my credit card to inform me I would be charged $150 if We destroyed the room. The breakfast was until 10 o'clock. He never told us how to get to the elevator or where it was located had to figure it out on our own. The door to our room was hard to open we had to shove it hard to get in. Otherwise our room was nice and spacious. My favorite part was the bedding very comfortable beds great pillows. We slept well that night. And I loved the history of the building and especially the fault downstairs near bathrooms. It is a beautiful building

It was okay, not the greatest area and the hotel was very outdated. We were told they had a continental breakfast each morning and the food was blah. Runny eggs, hard bread and bagels and English muffins. I definitely wouldn’t stay again. I’m giving 3 stars for the quietness.
- 5/5
Welcoming staff. No headache stay.
- 2/5
Hotel has no parking, there is only valet parking which they charge $45. Air quality is not good. The sofa bed was dirty, had stain on it.

I liked receiving good friendly service. I liked breakfast being available. I liked the ease of check in & check out. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. I was only there overnight so it was a short & sweet experience. The staff was great. I’m used to having free parking available on site.

- 2/5
Meh. We returned bc of a previous positive experience, but this place has gone downhill. Rooms are worn and not maintained, and the staff are disinterested. There are other comparable options in this area. Will look at those next time.
- 2/5
The problem is not with the Hotel, but the location which is noisy to the point that it interferes with one's sleep. When I asked about the noise from the streets in the early morning hours, I was told that the Baltimore Police do not do anything about the noise problem afflicting the inner harbor area. That was the only drawback to the Hotel.

I didn’t do breakfast but the valet’s parking was good.
- 1/5
The breakfast was subpar. They did not have enough food to feed everyone. The gentleman in charge of the food bar was very rude and staring at everybody as they went through the line. Seemed very much like he was just there to do a job and not interested in being very hospitable. The room itself smelled very stale and was very dated. It was also not as advertised. We had no trundle in the room and so one of my children had to sleep on the floor. Another child slept on the sofa couch and he said it was the worst sleep he ever had in his life. the pullout couch was absolutely uncomfortable and as a 14 year old he woke up with a sore back and neck. The parking situation was horrible. Each night to park at the hotel you had to pay $45. We didn't get there until a few minutes before midnight and they told us we would have to pay $45 for overnight and then $45 for the next day. The only redeeming quality of this hotel was the location of the hotel to the destination we had- inner harbor. You had to have your key card to just step into the lobby of the hotel. I definitely would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I highly doubt we would ever go back.

parking price for the price you pay for the hotel

Water pressure was weak, but I think that's a city and old building issue and not the property itself.
- 1/5

N/a Parking so expensive
- 2.5/5
Truth is i didn't know the area, so was not what i expected. If the hotel requires security door to get in, can't be good, safe area
- 5/5
Great job
- 3/5
Gym was inadequate. Hotel staff was great. Some concern with valet team. Initially my car was taken name was never entered into the system and my key was placed into the standard location. Had to find the initial valet attendant who took my key which was still in his pocket an hour later. I’m sure was an oversight but very anxiety inducing being out of town. Another valet attendant was helpful in finding my key and vehicle; I was very grateful to him.
- 5/5
Great price, great value.
- 2.5/5
The bathroom was dirty, there was hair in the bathroom and on some of the towels.
- 4/5
The close proximity to the harbor. The no free parking.
- 1.5/5
It was dirty, there were ceiling leaks all over the hotel and they had buckets underneath to catch the dripping water My rooms tub drain didn’t work, and the kitchen area sink faucet was loose from the counter and moved around all over the place
- 5/5
The breakfast was fresh and the parking was safe. The staff were friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
Nice size rooms. Bathroom light inconsistently worked.
- 5/5
Everything was great, the Director of Front Office Wilhemenia King, truly stood out. She went above and beyond to make my getaway trip memorable.
- 5/5
Awesome room!
- 3/5
Hotel showed its age. Room was ok but basics was missing.
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. The breakfast was not very good and lacked options. The bathroom had strands of hair in the tub and on the floor. The headboard was also dusty. The bar tender was also playing songs with curse words and explicit sexual language while young children were sitting and eating in th lounge area.
- 3/5
Dark and dreary. Definitely an old building with no upgrades.
- 3/5
Terrible service - staff was unaware of the company policies, unable to explain why additional charges were incurred without permission and were generally inept.
- 2.5/5
Location No real hot water, was mostly lukewarm and wifi did not work.
- 5/5
Did not go I was on business
- 5/5
The Vault was cool Nothing I know of
- 4/5
CONS: the elevator is OLD and SCARY!! really needs to be updated. sidenote you are downtown lots of traffic and noise.
- 3.5/5
Great location for attending a convention center. Spacious, comfy rooms.
- 4/5
Too crowded and elevator was a little slow
- 4.5/5
The people who work there are wonderful! I was overcharged by 500$ because they were transitioning to a new system. They reassured me my money would be returned and I trust it will but super frustrating in the meantime...
- 0.5/5
Nothing. I got to the property to check in and was told they couldn’t “accommodate” me due to overbooking. Meanwhile I reserved my room back in November, was charged for the room, and sent a link by the hotel for early check-in… to be told I had nowhere to stay. I was left stranded at night in an unsafe city. Disgusting service. Staff did nothing to help me, just say “sorry wish there was more I could do.” See above.
- 4/5
location is good.
- 5/5
Spacious room, stand up glass shower, private bathroom, sliding privacy doors, sitting area
- 2/5
This was not a good experience.
- 3/5
Breakfast ran out and the worker didn’t want to bring more.
- 4/5
The smell as you enter the hotel tells it’s quite dated. The rooms are okay.
- 5/5
Everything was great here!!!!

nice clean room, bar staff was very helpful

Room very comfortable & clean. Staff very friendly & helpful. Was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend!

The property was very clean and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Parking way to expenses when you are already paying for a room
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Clean, and the lady and velvet when we checked out was the friendliest!!
- 5/5
Spacious room, clean, nice staff, great location, good breakfast. Can’t complain.
- 5/5
We enjoyed the suite and overall atmosphere at the hotel. Close walk to the harbor (about 10 minutes).
- 5/5
Wilhemenia at the front desk was the best, she took great care of us and her advice was spot on. Rooms were very large and clean. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We will stay here again while in Baltimore.
- 5/5
Hotel was clean
- 5/5
We had an excellent stay . Very friendly staff . Will book again
- 4/5
The staff were courteous and helpful. The rooms were spotless. The only complaint I could make is that the heat was erratic, a problem I assume will be fixed in the upcoming renovation. The manager (Ms. King, I believe) went out of her way to assist us.
- 4/5
Conveniently located from the Inner Harbor!
- 5/5
Rooms were clean very friendly staff including the front desk and the valets. Front desk gave us a kink to discounted aquarium tickets and helped us plan out oit sightseeing.
- 4/5
Clean rooms and courteous staff. Love the morning breakfast option.
- 5/5
Everything was Great!
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything was awesome, breakfast could use a little more work but everything else was amazing.
- 5/5
Courteous staff. Great location for a Raven’s game and Inner Harbor. Great room with lots of space.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable room. The staff was very pleasant and professional.
- 4/5
Staff very nice, courteous but rooms need better lighting.
- 5/5
Cant believe we had to pay $45 for parking.
- 3/5
Beautiful hotel with a history. Staff was friendly. The downsides...the canned music in public areas is really loud, especially in lobby hall, the acoustics there just amplify the noise. The internet barely works, and adding a handheld shower head would be great for people over 4' tall. I'm not fond of doing the limbo to wash my hair
- 4/5
Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms
- 5/5
Great location, clean rooms with good service. So friendly and supportive staff especially Mr. Waleed and Amr. They were so nice! Definitely I will always select this hotel anytime I travel to Baltimore MD.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean room, good location, solid breakfast
- 2/5
The hotel encourages you to use valet parking, saying it's cheaper than the garages nearby, so I went for it. It took 20 minutes for the valet to get my car when I arrived and over an hour to get it when I left. I also didn't get the type of room I reserved. The hotel itself was ok although it feels a bit on the older side. The breakfast is fine but you get more options at other places. The gym is small. It is in a great location if you're doing things near the convention center. But I won't be staying here again.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 3/5
We loved the location of the hotel. But our room never got cleaned and we are there four days even after we asked for it to be cleaned one time.
- 2/5
Valet was horrible. Terrible setup. Valet guys were trying but the system needs updated and better staffed. Gentleman that checked me in was rude and not friendly at all. Set off the entire experience. Would not recommend , as there are plenty of other options in the area.
- 5/5
Everyone was very helpful & nice. I have an oversize truck & valet service took great care of it!
- 4/5
There is no facility for self parking , also there is not possible. The valet parking is excelent but for additional fee. The bathroom tiles must be replace. The breakfast is excelent. I like this place.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Fantastic service, wonderful stay!
- 1/5
The one-star rating is for a single reason: the valet parking pickup was a disaster. The hotel uses a shared service, and when we called for our car in the morning, it took more than a full hour for it to arrive. The valet service had its regular staff, but it's simply understaffed. For people needing to get on the road (to the airport, to work, etc.), an hour is inexcusable. At the very least, the hotel should notify patrons of the need to call for the car *the moment you wake up*. Alas, the hotel claims no responsibility, although the valet stand is co-branded with the hotel's name. They've simply got to do better at this because it can ruin an otherwise nice stay.
- 4/5
I didn’t like that housekeeping was every other day, the breakfast was not that good, the shower was weak and the noise was deafening. The Manager was very polite and friendly.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
the property was, ok but due to construction blocking the street had too walk to the the property in order to check in. It would have been nice if I would have had prier notice being from out of town it was confusing. Will not stay at this property any more.
- 5/5
The mattress on the bed is like laying on a cloud.
- 3/5
Location in Downtown is not the best and hitel did not have security
- 5/5
Very nice hotel with friendly & helpful staff. Walking distance to the inner harbor.
- 5/5
The place was great
- 5/5
Extremely clean....
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly. I recommend this place to stay if coming to Baltimore.
- 4/5
While they offer valet parking, at $45/day + tips, seems high. The text method to get our car via valet was convenient, but the valet staff were not too friendly.
- 4/5
The.property was once an old bank, and much of the original features have been preserved, including the vault. Room was comfortqble and clean, free breakfast was sdequate. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating was cost of parking.
- 3/5
My only complaint is that they don’t provide daily housekeeping. How does a nice hotel provide housekeeping every other day?
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful and everything clean
- 5/5
Streets were blocked off for a race. Very difficult to navigate through it. Room was spacious and enjoyed the old building architecture. Close to harbor area. The manager was Five Star and helpful with cheaper parking
- 5/5
Very nice close to everything
- 5/5
A great place to stay. Nice rooms, breakfast and the staff was awesome
- 2/5
Everything was great once someone came to the front desk to check us in. Stood in the lobby for ~5 minutes until we saw someone who worked for the hotel.

- 4/5
The hospitality was awesome
- 4/5
Easy walking to Habor
- 5/5
Liked the breakfast, the room and the welcoming environment
- 3/5
Enjoyed the hotel and area. Front desk staff was nice. Tv did not work and told maintenance crew was not available to fix the issue. Did not like that but other than that the cats was enjoyable.
- 1/5
This was the grossest hotel I have ever stayed at. They were not accommodating at all and the rooms were dirty and uncomfortable
- 5/5
This hotel was excellent. I will definitely stay again. Very clean, excellent staff and the breakfast was delicious with great options. The only thing I wish I knew before was the hotel parking is the valet and not the garage next door. The valet is cheaper than the garage. Within walking distance of the inner harbor for shops and food. Also, close enough to walk to the ball fields (reason for my stay).
- 5/5
Very much appreciated:)
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Clean and great service!
- 4/5
Parking was expensive.
- 3/5
Good
- 4/5
well located, friendly staff and large, clean rooms made this stay wonderful. unfortunately, parking is a bit confusing and some instructions or directions prior to check-in would be helpful.
- 5/5
Front desk staff was wonderful
- 4/5
Some one to assist with luggage on check out!
- 3/5
We were greeted by Wilhelmina and she was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. In fact, she was super kind and helpful to us our entire stay. The hotel used to be a bank and the architectural details were amazing. Plus there was a very cool vault in the basement. Now for the immediate surrounding area of the hotel—it was not safe or inviting. We’re used to cities and take city life with a grain of salt but the surrounding area was next level unsafe. I usually like to walk new cities and explore on my own. I didn’t feel comfortable doing so in this area. If you’re in the area and looking for a nice activity, check out Fort McHenry and the surrounding quaint and quiet neighborhood—Locust Point. Eat at Hill Street Blues Cafe and get snowball ices from the Ice Queens. Best part of our trip!
- 4/5
Very nice place to stay
- 5/5
Good stay and experience

- 3/5
The hotel needs security guards 24 hours. The cost of a water and soda was too expensive. The bathroom pipes made all kinds of noises.
- 4/5
I liked the history of the building and how they have maintained its character. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
The staff were amazing. The room was very clean. It is located at a convenient place. A 10 minute walk to the harbor in one direction and 10 minutes in the other is the CFG Arena.
- 5/5
I liked you had to use the key to enter the front door. Loved the layout of the lobby. The breakfast and staff was good.
- 1/5
Nothing but issues. Parking garage for $72 a night or Valet. There were NO places to pull in to get Valet. 35 minutes waiting finally got a spot. No luggage carts. And 60-100 people loitering outside hotel until 2 a.m. Desk person said security can’t do anything about it. Then when you wanted your car from the valet it took 25 minutes.
- 4/5
This hotel is in the perfect downtown location.
- 4/5
Great checking in and room is good, I just didn’t like the 48 hour cancellation time if you decided to stay an extra night and then in the morning changed your mind you can’t cancel they will charge you anyway?.. That I don’t like.
- 2/5
Hotel room window would not close and city noise was troublesome . Staff did not fix.
- 5/5
Great location. Very clean and quiet. Would stay again!
- 2/5
Came down for breakfast at 9am. Everything was empty. It took the staff 45min to refill everything by that time i had to leave. The breakfast staff looked very upset working the kitchen.
- 5/5
OUR STAY WAS JUST RIGHT.
- 4/5
The bed was comfortable but the shower had moldy caulk and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling up The breakfast was ok but the eggs had a funny taste
- 4/5
Property is old not worth the price they charge us
- 5/5
Great overnight stay.
- 4/5
The Hotel was clean but a little outdated and parking was very expensive. The breakfast was not very good but very clean area. Staff should periodically check the area for any issues with food replacements.
- 4/5
Good hotel overall. Breakfast was good. 8min walk from powerplant. Keep in mind that there is no free/cheap parking nearby. You'll have no option but to use 50$/night valet service.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Elite.
- 5/5
Beautiful room and was very pleased
- 3/5
Hotel is ver good. Staff is friendly and Cleanliness is laudable. But security is average. Outer immediate premise is not smoke free. In the night there was a noise.
- 5/5
Easy quick breakfast, valet is great, staff is always so nice!
- 4/5
Was approached by some unsavory characters returning from a night baseball game at Camden Yards
- 5/5
This property was exactly as advertised and what I expected. I recommend using the valet service. Definitely worth the price. We would stay here again if are ever in the Baltimore area.
- 4/5
Close to the ballpark
- 5/5
I had a great stay
- 5/5
Love the antiquity of the hotel. It was obviously once a bank.
- 1/5
The staff was very friendly the breakfast was horrible there is not place to park not even for people that are handicap the valet parking is almost 50 dollars there is a club directly on the other side for younger children which is very loud
- 4/5
Not enough luggage carts actually a few guest kept tge carts in their room during their stay thus none we available
- 4/5
The hotel was beautiful, the front desk staff were wonderful. The woman doing the breakfast was not friendly. The breakfast was also disappointing. The choices were eggs, egg sandwich or sausage. If you don’t like eggs, then your choices were sugary cereal or bagels. And the fruit choices were only apple or orange. No bananas or fruit salad. There were also tables right next to the buffet. So weird and awkward especially when children are running around. There was a room in the back with nothing that could have been used for seating. I think they can do better with the breakfast.
- 5/5
This property was very cool in an old historic bank building. The included breakfast was delicious. Better than most hotels. It was very clean. There wasn’t a lot of staff, so you had to wait at the front desk to check in and out. It was never more than a few minutes.
- 1/5
There were insects in our room. We alerted the staff, but there was no immediate solution during check out.
- 3/5
It is extremely noisy here. I would not recommend staying here with kids. Especially the night we stayed there were motorcyclist out all night long and we didn’t get any sleep
- 3/5
Bring earplugs! The property is next to a club, and the sirens and street noise are a lot!
- 4/5
The front desk staff was very pleasant. The valet parking was a decent option for our visit.
- 4/5
My first room was next to very noisy people. The front desk person changed me and it was better. The desk people were mostly friendly and appeasing.
- 5/5
I loved the fact that the old vault from the bank was kept in the building
- 5/5
Best hotel i have ever stayed! From being greeted when i checked in to having staff ask me how things are going. I loved everything about this hotel. The room was clean and spacious. Highly recommend this hotel in Baltimore. Plus the Horseshoe Casino is only 11 mins away lol
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Friendly staff and the area is good and close to restaurants and stores.
- 5/5
Easy check in/check out. Friendly staff. Would stay here again.
- 4/5
It was close to our event. Staff was awesome. Breakfast was good. It was a little noisy outside we could hear. It needs more lights in the living room area and wxhaust fan.in the bathroom
- 5/5
A bit old and dated, but clean, so that was fine.
- 4/5
Room was beautiful and thoroughly cleaned, very quiet and the location is perfect!
- 3/5
I feel like you get what you pay for at a place like this. It was conveniently located and the staff were very friendly. Free breakfast is a plus, the lobby is very pretty, and the room was pretty clean. On the downside, the room was very close to elevators, lights were quite dim, the fridge didn't shut properly and was leaking, the room was close to a busy road that people speed down, windows seem to not have been washed in a decade, and the room I think was only partly updated relatively recently (in the bed area). Maybe it was a figment of my imagination, but the mattress felt much shorter than it should be.

I was there for a trade show. I felt very safe with the security at the doors. Staff was extremely helpful. Building is absolutely beautiful! Must visit the vault in the lower level. Baltimore itself really needs to step up the care of their sidewalks which were covered in ice and snow. Sometimes it was safer to walk in the street which isn't the best thing.I have 2 complaints which can't be addressed by staff. This is the first hotel I've ever stayed in that didn't have a sheet of restaurants or places to visit. I would have loved to have had a list of restaurants. The other is the lighting in the rooms is dim. Fancy lighting but not practical. The desk light was tiny and since i was working at night, opening the curtains wasn't an option. The post lamp was the brightest but on the other side of the room and required you to physically walk over to it and shut it off. The bathroom wasn't the brightest either especially when you are putting on makeup. I was in an accessible room which was fine but the vanity in the bathroom or shelving would have helped to put my brush and make up there. The vanity barely had room for my toothbrush and toothpaste. But I would stay there again for the convenience.

I tried to contact hotels.com because my reservation was cancelled by the hotel the day before my stay. I'm currently unable to get my money back. Now they're refusing to post my bad review.
