Reviews
The hotel has a convenient location and friendly staff, but there are issues with cleanliness and maintenance. Some guests have reported problems with parking and breakfast services.

They need new comforter's. Absolutely disgusting. Brown mold or dirt inside the comforters.

Good time
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean but the lack of access to hand soap in the bathroom, alongside having no "Do Not Disturb" sign was a negative mark
- 2/5
no clean towels, no coffee in room, no ice… And no one cared!
- 4/5
Great stay just the parking was very confusing but not sure if that’s the hotel issue or just the set up of parking for the surrounding properties
- 4/5
The water pressure was bare, other than that no problems!
- 3/5
My room smelled like pee as soon as we got in and we examined the room shortly after and realized the surfaces were not clean either. Guest services said someone would be up to clean and never did. I was there for an event so I ended up just trying to figure about it. Then next morning was check out
- 3/5
The receptionist was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. The toilet seat was broken as was the shower head. The water pressure was very poor and there was a huge cobweb in the room.
- 4/5
Clean room and very friendly staff. Disappointed the restaurant wasn’t more prepared after a show that most visitors came for this weekend. Arrived and the restaurant was visibly dirty. Floors were filthy and trash spilling over. Sucks bc I was looking forward to trying the food but the appearance of that made me wonder how clean it is within the kitchen. Otherwise it was an excellent stay and will stay again!
- 5/5
Overall, it was a great location and had great restaurants in the hotel. The carpet was getting old and probably needs to be replaced and there was a few stains.
- 1/5
Mostly, the staff was awesome yet the hotel needs a lot of attention especially to the details in order to become more than a ONE STAR Hotel. Valet there is terrible $45/night your car is there sometimes! The “room” is a box with no microwave, the remote barely works because unless you literally dig your nails into it the channels won’t change.
- 4/5
Staff was helpful on arrival. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
Ice machine room was empty and dirty. The bed blocked access to the ac unit. Had to keep jumping over the bed to adjust temp. Room not very comfortable. Glad we only stayed one night.
- 5/5
Also, there should be some way to get filtered water from a machine on site. To recap -water -kettle -fridge
- 3/5
AC was a lit
- 5/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Close to the cruise port and a lot of places to walk to for food or drinks.
- 5/5
The room was nice. The photos online are definitely edited as every picture is online. The room was dingy and dark. Noticed a couple stains on the bed skirt and dust/pet hair in the chairs. Bathroom was nice. Overall it was nice. Only stayed one night and it was manageable.
- 5/5
The location to the arena is awesome. So many restaurants and stores within walking distance. Very clean. Great food in the restaurant
- 3.5/5
Good
- 4/5
Good breakfast The Night shift employee at the check in desk has a Really Bad attitude
- 4/5
Our stay was very good overall. Clean room, smooth check-in/check out, valet service was quick and efficient. The only thing was a few of the electrical sockets in our room did not work, but other than that we would definitely stay here again!
- 3/5
AC works fine. staff there when needed. rooms not the cleanest; hair in shower and on towels from previous guests. as well as hair on pillows and bed sheets. it was a barely surface level clean that didn’t make me the most comfortable
- 5/5
Cathrine and the staff were all amazing!
- 5/5
The stay was exceptional, as I was able to check in earlier than anticipated. Furthermore, the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making it a truly enjoyable experience.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay
- 5/5
amazing clean room!!!!!!!!!
- 5/5
Great property close to inner harbor with big spacious rooms & great lobby & restaurant.
- 4.5/5
The hardworking front office staff and the floor manager lady . The room. A bit of extra noise from outside and the weed smell .
- 3.5/5
Good
- 1/5
No one came to clean my room once in the entire 5-night stay after I asked for cleaning multiple days in a row. Also, the fake fire alarm being pulled at 1 am was very annoying. Overall I will never stay in a Sonesta again, this one put me off completely.
- 4.5/5
The bathroom mirror was amazing . The whole stay was extremely comfortable I couldn’t fully close the curtains, which was the only downside
- 3/5
Staff was rude. Was not notified of the 150 deposit
- 4/5
They were helpful for an early check-in. It was greatly appreciated because we had flown in on a red-eye flight. The late checkout was a bit of a slip. The evening before the lady agreed to 1pm. The morning when confirming that the lady stated it was only till 1130am but also was not very civil about it.
- 3/5
There were stains on the carpet in the rooms. The first room smelled damp like there was water damage. The second room was much better. There was a mouse slowly roaming in the lobby and there were some interesting looking patrons to say the least. On the brighter side, the staff was very friendly and accommodating.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
Staff was awesome, only issue was we paid for parking for 4 days after day 2 there was an system issue so we had to keep showing our room keys to get the car parked for us.
- 1/5
Property was dirty. Room had a bad smell, bathroom sink was clog and had water, there was food crumbs on the floor, and we found someone’s draws in the room. Also the bed sheets were smelling like urnine and mattress was full of stains
- 1/5
Location was good but poor condition. No restaurant eventhough I booked with free breakfast. End up with buying my own breakfast. Rooms are old - dirty carpet
- 1/5
The hotel rooms itself were outdated and very dirty. If you ignore the drug addicts living in front of the hotel may be its a good stay for 1 night
- 5/5
Conveniently located. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room.
- 5/5
Clean Rooms , Excellent Customer Service . Enjoyed my stay .
- 4/5

Location Parking
- 3/5
Some staff very nice , others not so much
- 3/5
Parking expensive. Room was ok
- 4/5
Very clean! Good location. Almost no amenities in the room (no hairdryer, shower cap, only one packet of regular coffee-no creamer/sugars, etc). Very friendly staff. Would probably stay here again but also would be mindful of spartan amenities.
- 3/5
I will say that the bathroom was gorgeous and I loved that there’s a speaker built into the bathroom ceiling. The bed was comfy and the decor was normal. No microwave but the mini fridge was nice!
- 2/5
The hall smelled of dog poorly covered with air freshener. The ice bucket in the room had a half inch of water with mold floating in it. Shower had hairs on floor. No soap in bathroom. Complimentary lotion bottle was half emptied.
- 2/5
Don’t come here.
- 3/5
I stayed for four nights and not one maid came to clean the room! I had to take out trash form the room myself smh.
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
The room was clean except the carpet was in need of cleaning. My white socks were dirty from minimal walking. The bathroom was clean however there was mold on the ceiling and the shower curtain was in need of changing. The beds were comfortable, the lobby was spotless and the staff were all friendly. Valet was $45 a day. Staff gave parking options that included street parking, close self parking or valet. They didn't pressure me for any option, they just provided information and options.
- 5/5
The room way clean and athe air conditioning worked great. The manager on duty and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We are definitely going to stay here again on the upcoming 4th of July weekend.
- 5/5
Room was very nice and spacious. The valet parking was great. The staff at the desk were kind and helpful. This hotel is great for how affordable it is.
- 1/5
Bed bugs, Manager asked for photos (on sheets and my bites), i provided, never heard back.
- 2/5
Loud and someone pulled the fire alarm in the middle of the night.
- 3/5
Pleasant
- 4.5/5
Friendly staff … Very clean Location to the stadium was great
- 3/5
King size suite is what I had. Nice size room. No breakfast. In terms of staff and being quick with requests 10/10
- 4/5
The hotel is convenient but needs a refresh which I’m told is coming. Several of the electric outlets in my room didn’t work which is annoying. The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night just long enough to wake me up. There was no fire. Overall it was a fine hotel..bed was comfortable and the room was clean …the staff was nice enough. The hotel met my needs for my 2 day stay.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing!
- 5/5
Very clean room and helpful/friendly staff.
- 4.5/5
Great location. It was about a 15 minute walk to Camden Yards and 15 minute walk to Federal Hill. The parking was simple but it was a bit confusing because the parking garages are owned by different companies.
- 4/5
I love the location. It's only 2 blocks from the inner harbor. The hotel is very well kept. It has a beautiful lobby. The room was very spacious and clean. And what was very convenient is the fact that there's a Royal Farms and 7 Eleven right around the corner. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I saw a live roach in the room on the bench where you'd normally sit your bags. Thanks goodness it was the morning of checkout because I don't think I could sleep there if I saw it the night before. I'm terrified of bugs. I suppose this could happen anywhere though but thought I'd mention it.
- 4/5
However, every noise from the street was VERY loud. Even people just talking could be heard like I was down on the street with them. This made it very difficult to sleep.
- 5/5
The Sonesta is literally a hidden gem. Very clean and sleek on the outside. If you don't know to look for it you won't see it. Inside the lobby is clean and the people working there were so friendly and made me feel welcome and comfortable. It was a quick check in. The lobby, hallways, and elevator all looked so clean and brand new. The room was clean, quiet, and I felt so safe. The room was great and the bed was so comfy! I definitely will stay at the sonesta again!
- 5/5
👍
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean and the staff was very kind. The whole process was probably the quickest I've ever checked into a hotel. I did find the air conditioning to be a little Annoying to get on. I don't also comes down from the ceiling, almost on top of the bed, it was a little intense. Also although the bathroom was very clean and it was a very nice shower setup, the shower pressure was non-existent.
- 5/5
Valet is offered, but there's parking garages around the corner. We had an issue with the Netflix connecting on the TV, but the regular cable worked fonet
- 5/5
Room was very clean, air conditioning was perfect for both heat and cooling. Bathroom and shower very nice and spacious. Staff was excellent, very helpful, friendly and welcoming. Also, location of hotel is close to convenience stores and it is less than a 10 minute walk to the inner harbor, which is a plus.
- 5/5
Room was spacious, clean and quiet. Did have to call the front desk twice for 2 items that should have already been in the room, coffee maker and hair dryer. All in all enjoyed the 2 night stay.
- 4/5
Very good
- 3.5/5
The bed was very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and nice. Even though the bathroom was clean it was a little shabby. There was mildew stains in the corners. The lighting was very low and there was no clock.

- 5/5
Customer service was amazing and the hotel was clean !
- 5/5
Very helpful and ladies at front desk was vey nice and welcoming.
- 5/5
Great place to stay close to so much and the price was right!
- 5/5
Everyone was very helpful. Check-in and check-out processes were easy and quick. The room was clean, and I liked the location. They have a restaurant, but I didn’t eat there. I’ll stay here again when I come back!
- 5/5
Highly recommend the hotel.
- 4/5
The first room we got smelled heavily of cigarettes, so we got moved. This was good, but the room was smaller which was not. But overall, I'd stay there again. It was clean and convenient and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Room was very clean and all the staff were extremely kind and helpful. The AC is not great everywhere in the building. The lobby was hot, the room was hot, everywhere was hot in late May.
- 5/5
10/10♥️loved it!!!!can’t wait to return…$150 a night for the security deposit was a stretch but I still enjoyed the hotel lol!
- 4/5
The only complaint was noise from the outside (from 2nd floor room). Other than that, everything else was great.

The staffs were very nice but the room was awful because of the poor connection of Wifi and the dirty floor/bathroom.

Clean. Convient. No breakfast
- 5/5
Great location and very helpful staff!
- 5/5
Excellent staff. Shaina helped us a lot during check in and it made the stay so much more enjoyable. Thank you.
- 5/5
Great bed to sleep
- 4/5
Stayed at the Sonesta for a graduation ceremony at the Baltimore Convention Center. An easy walk (5-7mins) from the hotel to the convention center. The facility was very clean and offered a great breakfast (extra fee). Definitely a great place to stay.
- 5/5
Hotel was in a good location. Central to a number of places.
- 2/5
I got a nasty cut on leg, while coming down from the bed in room 314. I wouldn’t stay there again.
- 5/5
Spacious bathroom, really comfortable bed. Nice room and staff.
- 5/5
Amazing service, location and room. The staff was friendly. I definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying a next time.
- 5/5
My first time staying at this Hotel. Enjoyed it very much. Staff was very friendly. Greeted me as I was walking into the Hotel with a smile and unfortunately you don’t get that two much anymore. So that put me in a better mood as traffic was BRUTAL. Room was very nice/clean. Missing a few towels but fixed right away. Overall a very pleasant experience. Quiet. Thank you
- 4/5
Staff was very good
- 4/5
The hotel was clean, and well maintained.
- 2/5
When we arrived the lady at the front desk was very nice. We arrived early and we was able to get in our room early so that was good when we got up there the room seem to be fine. When we started checking the sheets as we usually do making sure there’s no bedbugs and spray disinfectant spray. We did find a piece of hair underneath the covers on the fitted sheet, which kind of made us feel like they didn’t change the sheets then when we went to take a shower, there was a long piece of hair in the shower, which obviously could not have been cleaned correctly because how would that hair get on the wall of the shower if the shower was disinfected correctly. Once we tried to take a shower, the water pressure was absolutely terrible. It was almost like trickling down so you cannot even take a shower like you wanted to because the pressure was awful. I did talk to the manager the following day because he was gone that night by the time we went to the Front Desk. They did send Maintenance up there who did try to rectify the situation and changed the showerhead, but the pressure was no better there was nothing said about the long hair in the shower and the bed that was kind of disregarded. The area is nice but would I stay here again most likely not. I love a good shower at all times so that right there turned me off not to mention there was a lady at the desk in the evening time at night who act like she did not want to be there and knew nothing about anything that I asked her.
- 5/5
Clean room and friendly staff.
- 5/5
Fantastic place to stay, very clean, very convenient, reasonable price.
- 4/5
A great location in the heart of downtown Baltimore - super easy and convenient for all the sites. Would be good if they could negotiate an agreement with local parking garage for car parking as the costs are out of control in the area but that is not a fault of the hotel itself. Rooms were clean, contemporary and super quiet which was great for getting our toddler to sleep after a long car journey. Would stay again!
- 2/5
The front desk staff was very accommodating and understanding. But our first night we had spiders on our bed and the front desk got us moved to a new room within 20 min, that was the only good part of our stay in terms of service. Our bathroom was not cleaned once during our stay, the shower floor was brown in some spots. Our beds had stains on the comforter, constantly had to ask for cleaning service (our beds weren’t made unless we asked, same with getting new towels. The valet was great.
- 5/5
Very convenient and a great price
- 1/5
They do not offer breakfast. The staff moves with no urgency. The room was clean but 0 replenishment of necessary hygenic items. false fire alarm that left us confused and no update from any staff either. Key card to enter the hotel after a certain time at night didn't even work. Staff worker had to walk up to the door to open it. 0/10. Our stay was one of the worst.
- 5/5
Staff was nice and helpful, Bed was very plush and comfortable, A/C was ice cold.
- 4/5
Very nice hotel, area surrounding it was not the best
- 2/5
Definitely an out of date hotel. I would not recommend.
- 1/5
Very disappointing stay. The room was not clean, and the neighboring room was extremely noisy with constant door slamming. Staff did nothing after we complained, so we could barely sleep. There was also no safe for valuables. Overall, I would not recommend staying here.
- 5/5
Good place to stay. Only downside you have to pay for parking.
- 3/5
Room was great but the shower disappointed. There was no hot water and the shower head was broken.
- 5/5
Rooms were very clean , our beds were very comfortable, did not have breakfast! We are not much of eating breakfast foods! The staff was really nice and friendly ! We would definitely return to this hotel!
- 5/5
Perfect hotel to stay but I believe the parking was on the expensive side if you didn't use valet which is $45 a night. I used a parking garage around the corner that charged me $35 every time I left to go somewhere. But the room was very clean. Bed was comfortable. The staff was very responsive and hospitable. Cheerful demeanor at the front desk and throughout the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Room was clean, check-in was a breeze, hotel is conveniently located within waking distance to so many attractions.
- 5/5
Clean room, good stay
- 2/5
However we asked to have the room cleaned twice while we were there and to have our linen changed and it did not happen during our stay. Also had to beg for clean towels/washcloths and was told one night that they were out of towels and we would have to wait until the morning time, second night towels were being washed and we had to wait for someone to bring them up to room. By time someone came it was after midnight and we were sleep.
- 1/5
I was not informed about room cleaning only by request at the time of check-in. The second day I found this out and asked for room cleaning, which was not done. I requested again for the room cleaning to be done the following day, which again was not taken care of. Getting clean towels delivered took more than 45 minutes, and I even had to ask twice. I noticed all the staffs I interacted were taking notes on post-its. Poor communication. It was not a pleasant stay and I do not plan to come back.
- 1/5
Arrived the day before my birthday and was told I would be given a complimentary upgraded room.I went to the room, and it was the same double bed room I had reserved.i called downstairs to ask,and was told to come back downstairs to get another key.I came downstairs, retrieved the new key to the upgraded room,to get to the room and again,it was not an upgraded room, but the same double bed room.At this point,I’m annoyed and I also notice a strong odor coming from this room, and the air conditioner wasn’t working.I again called downstairs to complain, and I was finally given another room, which was the exact room that I had reserved,so no free upgrade, and nothing was offered for my inconvenience of having to carry two heavy bags back and forth two times. The maintenance man who came to check the non working air conditioner stated that they knew the air conditioner wasn’t working in this room, and therefore should not have gave this room to anyone.I will never stay at this hotel again. The only good part was that it was very close to the arena that we were in town to see a show at.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean staff very friendly check in and out was quick and easy my only problem is there was no amenties like pool, free breakfast or parking otherwise i would come back and stay again because it was in walking distance to alot of other things so next month when i return i probably wont stay there but i'll keep them in mind for quick trips or emergencies ..thank you the friendly staff for making my stay a great stay even without no amenities
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Bed was very comfortable, shower was nice
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our stay at the Sonesta Hotel. The rooms were very clean. The Lobby had a modern feel with cozy vibe. Walking distance to the Baltimore convention Center. We would definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone. The price was right.

- 1/5
Staff?! The lady that checked us in was nice but the restaurant staff was horrendous!! Asked for a menu and the guy walked us to the bar. He forgot that fast that he was supposed to get us a QA code. A lady asked us if we needed help and she did. Called the front desk to ask about the restaurant and no one answered. My husband walked downstairs and walked to the restaurant Victorious and no one came to help. We were about to drop money because we’re foodies and they missed out. And we definitely would NOT recommend the hotel and/or restaurant. The front of the building was extremely dirty. I know you can’t control the people outside but you should have someone maintaining at least the front of the building. I did like that they had dog treats for the doggies. As for breakfast.. we didn’t even try after the night before.
- 4/5
It’s a great hotel. Close to the harbor. The only glaring issue is the valet. Baltimore isn’t exactly a great place to park. The valet charges 100$. My vehicle was parked in the same place for two days. After a nap, it was gone. Zero communication and my phone number was on a tag on the key. There was zero reasons to move the vehicle, and many of the guests expressed their strong agreement that they were not good. The hotel room was great, everything about the hotel was great. Don’t use valet.
- 3/5
Loud room- both street noise and also you can hear everything that happens in the rooms above, walking and anything on the floor. Nice staff but also tough to unload gear without room to pull up out front. Valet is the thing to do I guess but we parked it ourselves for $10 instead.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean facility you can smell the cleanliness
- 5/5
The staff, room was cleaned
- 2/5
The pictures were a bit deceiving, the place was not in the best shape, had a bad smell throughout and the room cleaning was done poorly.
- 5/5
Hotel was a 8.5/10 and close walking distance to the harbor and to many restaurants. I had an issue with the tv in the room I was staying in, it wouldn’t turn off or the volume up and down. No free breakfast with your stay but have a restaurant on the site towards the lobby that serves breakfast but wasn’t open at all so I had to get food elsewhere.
- 1/5
I booked this location to attend a Concert; instead of rushing downtown in traffic I figured I could get a room get dressed and walk over to the venue when it was time to check in at 5:30 PM I was told that no rooms were available. Of course they apologize for the inconvenience, but the inconvenience was already done. Had to go all the way back home. Get dressed drive back downtown pay for parking. You only find out that my room was not ready until 2 AM. The funny thing I was still charged for a whole night spoke with a representative at the desk and let them know when they called me at 2 AM that I will not be checking in. Oh well you live and learn.
- 2/5
No crib when requested, staff was not apologetic, only one person in housekeeping, only person at check in when there was a wedding party
- 1/5
My experience was terrible
- 5/5
No problems with this hotel at all! Clean and modern in style. Staff were friendly and provided some great places nearby. The restaurant attached to hotel was delicious. Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to the Inner Harbor which makes it an ideal location. Would definitely stay again.
- 1/5
Bad stay this time. Lots of street noise. This hotel could have done better
- 3/5
The common areas of the hotel were clean. The room was mediocre. It had no fridge or couch in a king room, a huge disappointment. The window was very small and there was barely any lighting- it felt like a college dorm room. Did not feel it was appropriately advertised online.
- 5/5
Great location.. very clean room. Friendly staff
- 1/5
There was no hot water for my entire stay- the staff was nice however no accommodations were made for us. The bathrooms/ room was dusty and also the bathroom had a lot of run and just old. The tiles were not very clean. Over all not a great stay
- 5/5
The restaurant was AMAZING!!!! I would stay there just for that. Hotel overall was great.
- 5/5
I did not have breakfast during my stay
- 1/5
I had a 4 day stay my room was NEVER cleaned even after I asked several times for a cleaning and finally someone came and gave us a roll of tissue and a towel that is it we had a baby in there dirty diapers full of feces we begged to be taken care of none of the staff speak English I should call ICE they totally ignored me and I am extremely DISSATISFIED with the services as well as the rude staff who can’t understand you THEY HAVE WORKERS THAT ARE NOT DOCUMENTED and the staff isn’t any better they are very rude as well paying us no mind when we asked for services I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to a bum I hope it shuts down
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Room was clean. I loved the smart TV feature. I only stayed one day but it was worth it.
- 3/5
The hotel was nice enough. The restaurant was the star. The crabcake we got for dinner was the best crabcake we’ve ever had. During our three night stay, not once did they clean our room or make our beds or give us fresh towels without us having to go and ask. When we did ask, it took hours for them to finally get to us. It was within walking distance to the convention center, which was the reason why we booked it. Overall, it was fine.
- 2/5
This was 2nd time staying here and both times my room was not up to par. I was by the property manager that some of my stay would be reimbursed and it never was. They definitely lost a customer.
- 5/5
Excellent value. I would stay there again.
- 3/5
Room smelled a bit. Close to many things in the area
- 4/5
So I didn’t realize I needed to request a room with a view. We literally were looking at a brick wall while the shade was open lol the shower had hair on the walls (prior to even being used) and no microwave within the rooms…it’s located on the 3rd floor. Other than those minor nuisances…perfect location for the event I was attending. Thank you
- 4/5
Close to the convention center and inner harbor. Would stay again.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel. Just 2 blocks from Inner Harbor, A very specious room with two queen beds.
- 1/5
Have to pay attention on your credit card, the staff charge without informing
- 5/5
Comfy clean
- 5/5
Perfect location , room was clean
- 5/5
No breakfast was available when we were there.
- 4/5
Enjoyed my stay at the hotel
- 4/5
The location was great and the room was comfy and nicely decorated. My only complaint is that housekeeping never came. If they have a policy about that, we weren't aware and I never saw it posted. The staff was very friendly. Overall, a nice place to stay.
- 4/5
The room and bathroom was clean. The view - there was no view - what we saw was the side of the building. The curtains could be black out and close completely across the entire window.
- 1/5
No
- 4/5
Parking is not included and very expensive.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay there. There is valet parking at a cost or parking garages nearby. Overall, it was a great stay
- 1/5
They asking kept asking multiple times did I pay online which I did tried double charge me before I left!

I LOVED the staff very welcoming and friendly good security as well your not alllowed to js walk in and not check in even if visiting someone at this hotel my room was very clean and beds were amazing will come again very soon thank you for the stay !
- 5/5
We loved our room and how close it was to lots of restaurants!
- 5/5
My experience was great. Fast and easy check-in with great staff! Clean room and convenient location.
- 5/5
The front desk staff were wonderful and had great customer service. The rooms were great and clean.
- 5/5
Overall nice hotel. Rooms are clean and really nice. I truly enjoyed my stay.
- 5/5
Rooms were so spacious and clean. Staff was so lovely and helpful! Restaurant inside was convenient with great food. Parking close not expensive at all if you’re not interesting in valet but it is offered! Will stay again!
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
The restaurant is a vibe
- 3/5
Overall, the hotel entrance is nice, but the hold for accidental damage is an alarming $150, which you do get back after your stay. The hotel itself has fairly dimly lit floors. The Bed was comfortable, but there was no room service throughout my stay. Additionally, the hotel has 3 elevators, one of which was out of service; my room was on the 6th floor. Furthermore, when I came back one day, both elevators were broken, and the only other elevator went only to the 5th floor, which was a bit annoying. The rooms don't have a microwave but do have a fridge to place your cold items. There were some damages, such as the toilet paper rollers not being tightened, and some rust around the bathroom door. Also, in the tub, there is shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel, which is nice. My shower gel fell off the tub wall when I came back one day and broke. I took it to the reception desk and was told housekeeping would replace it, but it never was. Overall, I would stay again, but I am mindful that service is a bit slow and some requests take a while.
- 1/5
How could expedia sell this property as 4 stars?!! The room didn’t have a safe box (in Baltimore!) room did not have water or anything else - an empty fridge. Expedia description misled us! Also, I filtered for hotels with parking- there was no parking either.
- 3/5
Didn’t even know it was breakfast wasn’t told
- 5/5
The front desk staff are friendly, welcoming, kind, respectful and accommodating
- 3/5
I was aware that there was no breakfast. And was prepared to eat out. The restaurant attached to the hotel was just as bad as the front desk experience. I did have a interaction with another my desk was associate and it was plain no real customer service provided throughout this day from the two front desk associates I interacted with. There was a man maybe maintenance that did provide customer service and was polite. We visit Baltimore often and this sonesta location would not be my first choice. Overall pricing was okay the room was clean housekeeping was polite. 3.5 stars
- 1/5
Room was not what I expected pull out couch was to small for my kids spoke with GM the next day and she sent a blow up mattress up to my room Friday, ask for full service of my room on a Saturday when me and my two sons was leaving out come back at after 9 that night and my trash cans still running over dirty towels still in room sheets not changed, after being there since Thursday and room didn’t get service at all my whole stay the, when speaking with GM Ms. Melissa A.Martin about the first incident. She stated she will comp me one night stay then the next day after informing her about the other incident about my room, not getting service and the poor customer service that I received throughout my state. I was told I would get two days instead of one, and I have yet not to receive a complementary stay on neither one of my days!!!

When we checked in we were given a room that reeked of marijuana. I realize that is Baltimore, however, for those of us that do not care for the smell, it was quite appalling. However the staff was quick to give us another room without question. The hotel was very nice and comfortable. The valet on the other hand was the worst, there was only one attendant and the hotel got very busy and it would take an average of 20-30 minutes to get your car. So, I would recommend staying here, but, do not opt for the valet service, there is a parking garage right around the corner.
- 2/5
Room smells so bad. Moldy. And bathroom smells like a public bathroom.
- 5/5
Excellent location, easy to get to harbor, downtown sights and very comfortable beds and pillows, quiet rooms made for a good nights sleep
- 5/5
The stay was nice, clean, and close to where we wanted
- 5/5
It was very clean
- 4/5
Room was large and clean
- 5/5
Staff were very accommodating. Our room was clean. Valet service was great.
- 1/5
The bathroom had one tiny thing of lotion. No hand or face soap no shower cap or makeup re.over wipe. Holiday in. Does that fir a lir less. No complementary water. No coffe not even for purchase
- 4/5
The room was quite large, well appointed and comfortable. The staff were courteous, but the person who helped me at the front desk was new and it took a while to get checked in. The bathroom was nicely renovated but the shower head needed to be replaced.
- 5/5
The room was clean, check in was fast, and it’s located in walking distance to many restaurants.
- 5/5
When we arrived there was karaoke at the bar and the front desk person recommended crab cakes and we were all IN. Great Pineapple Mojito and Watermelon Martini as well. Watching the karaoke made the evening fun. Friendly staff all around and they made everything pleasant. We stored bags and had a nice day walking the Inner Harbor. A great stay
- 4/5
Helpful and friendly staff. Large and clean room. Great location.
- 5/5
I have never felt so welcome and at home in a hotel. The GM Melissa was so friendly (my dog was an ice breaker). She greeted myself and my girls while we were waiting for my husband to get the car valeted. She was so happy to give us suggestions on where to go for dinner that evening and if she happened to see us coming in and out over the next couple of days she was thoughtful enough to say hello and ask how our day was. We did have one SLIGHT snafu where our AC in the room decided to give out on our first night when we finally got comfy after a travel day and dinner and showers BUT the front desk was able to find us a room 2 doors down and were extremely helpful in making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Every little thing helps... even when my husband ran out to the 711 around the corner for toothbrushes that my girls forgot...towels that he was going to pick up on the way back in were personally delivered. If you are looking for a hotel that is clean, beautifully decorated (and also smells really great), that is in a GREAT location and central to the Inner Harbor and Camden Yards or M&T Bank Stadium as well as the Circulator (something else Melissa was able to help us with when we wanted to go to Fells Point for dinner), that is also extremely pet friendly, this hotel is the one you want. Kudos and thanks to the whole team.
- 4/5
Overall good just have to pay a lot of money for valet parking. Close to a lot of places.
- 5/5
no breakfast was available at this place
- 4/5
Did not eat breakfast
- 3/5
1st room wasn’t clean. 2nd room was cleanish, smh!
- 4/5
Comfortable. Felt safe new hotel for me very comfortable
- 3/5
Staff was polite and welcoming, but there was a weird smell in the common hallway, there was no bottled water to buy and some of the fixtures in our room were damaged. It was fine for our one night stay, but probably would not stay again.
- 1/5
I didn’t stay here because my room was over booked and I had to stay elsewhere
- 3/5
The location was to the arena was perfect. Customer service could have been better. We had to move rooms due to the TV being broken.
- 1/5
Wasn’t able to check in until after midnight
- 4/5
The room was okay. I couldn’t close the drapes in my room. They were only for decoration on the sides of the window. There were sheer curtains, but my window was facing another building. Also my bathroom did not have a shower curtain.
- 3/5
Water was not hot. It was lukewarm. That’s automatically brings the rating down. Room was spacious and clean
- 1/5
The property itself was nice but the fact the mat we checked in at 8pm and our room still wasn’t ready was a big problem. We weren’t the only ones still waiting and we were attending a concert nearby so we had to change in a conference room. The hotel clerk was very patient and calm with the chaos but it was definitely an experience we won’t forget. Not sure about booking there again.
- 2/5
Location was perfect and rooms were clean. Only problem I had was I booked two seperate rooms, we arrived about 5pm and had to wait for ONE room as two weren’t available right away. The second room wasn’t ready til about 8pm.. if check in is at 4 then rooms should be ready..
- 5/5
Clean room, amazing food at the bar
- 5/5
The room was spacious but also super nice and cozy. Water pressure and temps were good, towels were clean, bed was very comfy. Location is 10/10 for concerts in particular.
- 3/5
My room layout was poor. There was not enough lighting room was very dark. The lobby area small. The lobby refrigerator empty and did not restock all weekend.
- 1/5
They also claim to offer valet service, but there was no one available at any point during my stay—so don’t count on that. If you’re expecting anything resembling luxury or convenience, you’ll be disappointed. The only reason to stay here is if you’re trying to save money and are okay with very basic accommodations. Otherwise, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
- 5/5
The staff is amazing!!! I also want to give a big Thank you to the night clerk on 2/27 who assisted my daughter and her friends with their DoorDash issue! I can’t think of her name but overall no issues. Parking a little steep. Thank you again!
- 5/5
Staff wonderful ,rooms clean, and the food was amazing in the restaurant you will see me again
- 3/5
The floor was sticky and I requested for housekeeping to come which they never did so I wiped it up myself.
- 3/5
My stay was ok, under the windows there was definitely
- 5/5
We had a nice stay. Room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable and the shower was awesome (with very nice and high water pressure)! The staff there were very kind and helpful too. Will stay again next time in town.
- 5/5
Nice, comfortable room & great location!
- 1/5
Unpleasant odor throughout the hotel that they tried to mask with air fresheners, stains on bedding, clump of hair in hallway, dirty feel all round, false fire alarm both nights we stayed, unreliable, overpriced valet service. Find another hotel.
- 3/5
The lock on my room door was broken. This was a room I was moved to after specifically asking not to be placed in a room with an adjoining room. I order french fries to go at the restaurant, and it took them 45 minutes. Once I received the food, the container was smeared with sauce and food. They didn't bother wiping it or providing a clean container. Everything could have been better.
- 5/5
The room is clean and staff is really helpful. on the center of the city. Safety is not a concern. Close to harbor and there is a restaurant inside the hotel is convenient.
- 4/5
The staff were great. The hotel room was ok. We had a broken toilet lid that was on the floor when we walked in. They fixed it after we reported it about 4 hours later. Other than that it was super close to the cfg bank arena.
- 5/5
I know when something is clean by my nose My room was clean. The front desk area was clean. Everything smelled nice. The restaurant that connected with the hotel was quite convenient. And I found the crab cake dinner very tasty.. Front desk workers were very helpful in every way. I recommend this Sonesta at one Redwood.
- 3/5
The staff was terrific! Every staff member was friendly, courteous and professional. We paid for a room package with breakfast and there is no breakfast. Not even a cup of coffee available in the building. The restaurant on site does not serve breakfast and is not affiliated with the hotel. Our coffee pot in the room was broken. The water never got hot in the shower ( for two days) and the bed was not comfortable. The staff tried to help but at some point you just get tired of complaining and resolve yourself to a sub- par experience.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice and the restaurant was excellent
- 4/5
Staff was courteous. The valet definitely could be better organized. The valet person was great but it was too much for one person.
- 3/5
* our room was clean and the staff was did everything in their power to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The workers at the front desk were very accommodating. The cleaning lady stayed on top of everything, The valet never stopped moving, trying his hardest retrieve our vehicle in a timely manner. *There is a restaurant connected to the hotel The Bad: this hotel is severely understaffed. There was ONE valet running around the block and retrieving hundreds of vehicles BY HIMSELF. The valet kept his head down and remained composed even though guests were cursing him out and complaining about wait times. He needs HELP. The quality of the tap water in the Baltimore inner harbor area is terrible. I took a shower after my flight and felt like I was cleaner BEFORE I washed up. Our shower head was covered in corrosion and calcium deposits. I tried scrubbing it myself and couldn’t get it to come off, so I can’t blame the cleaning lady. Sonesta needs to replace their shower heads and / or soak them in CLR on an a regular basis. Investing in a water softener system for the building would also rectify the issue. The streaming services on our television only worked 50% of the time.
- 3/5
Front desk was nice, but the hotel itself is not worth the price. Room was clean and bed was comfortable, which are the only positive things I can say. Hallways and elevators were always dirty (there was a piece of shrimp by our front door).
- 4/5
Clean room, great bedding. Noisy area, elevator slow, check-in and valet lines long.
- 3/5
Shower had no hot water Luke warm. No hotel parking. It cost me 100.00 to park my car in the garage for 24 hours. Not enough staff at front desk.
- 1/5
My room was not ready for 2 hrs which made me run behind on my plans. The room smelt like smoke, random hair in my bed and lamp shade broken. Bathroom was not clean and shower gel didnt work
- 5/5
Yes beautiful room
- 3/5
Very poor and u professional valet service.i was cuse at by the valet after waiting hour and 30 minutes to get my car. Then when you brought the car, he lock the car and walked away with the key. When I asked him for the key, he cursed me out and then tried to pick a fight with my husband.
- 1/5
The room was not clean
- 5/5
Room is nice and clean.
- 4/5
Staff were friendly but some need more guidance. I called ahead to ask about dropping my bag off before my room was ready, I was told there was a locked baggage closet. When I got there the person at the desk didn’t know about such. She put a post it note with my name on my suitcase and placed it in back office…very visible. Then when I pushed the wake up call button on the phone, front desk didn’t seem to know what to do. Said “I’ll leave a note for the next person .” I did not receive a wake up call!
- 1/5
The room was clean however the management was terrible! My girlfriend and I were threatened to be kicked out over a false complaint that had nothing to do with us. The manager came to our room very rude and wrong when it was clearly the room with teens right next door. We kindly told the manager this and he stated he stood outside our room and heard me chuckle because we were watching a movie. The teens were loud and running the halls all night . When we complained nothing happened. This experience was terrible
- 1/5
The staff and guests constantly called noise complaints when I was silent the whole time and the front desk lied about my security deposit then stole it from me.
- 2/5
The microwave wasn’t in my room no breakfast no pool it’s just a simple room wit a fridge
- 4/5
Only issue was the shower heads were not working well, need better maintaince. Room 306.
- 5/5
Hospitality
- 5/5
Overall great for the price
- 3/5
No breakfast in the hotel. Poor valet service they had to call the other hotel for their valet service, and they charge more if you don’t pay attention to it. No microwave in the room. No “do not disturb” sign. Good staff understanding manager.
- 5/5
The hotel was perfect for my short stay in Baltimore. Close to everything, with public transportation steps away. It was clean, accessible, and had a nice new restaurant in the lobby. I felt safe and my room had a great bed, television and huge mirror. The employees were friendly and helpful as well
- 5/5
The staff. The number one reason we choose to stay there every year is for the staff. Every time there are different people but they are ALWAYS the best staff. Front desk girls were amazing. Jackie and the girl who worked today 2/1/2026 wearing the cute fur coat. They both should get big shout outs. THEIR HOSPITALITY WAS SOOOOO OVER THE TOP!! I will tell you we had very cold showers. The water did not get more than luke warm
- 5/5
This was our first time staying here. Staff was very friendly and efficient. It’s a very nice hotel
- 4/5
Room is very spacious, and clean. Fantastic staff was very nice and helpful.
- 3/5
The staff was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately, I had to change my room several times. I settled on the final room that was provided to me; it was cold and didn't have everything one would've expected in the room.
- 4/5
The room was very clean. Staff wasn’t very helpful when I asked about the coffee pot not working, but other than that everything was great.
- 4/5
Staff were great didn’t really like my bathroom. But I really can’t complain
- 1/5
No breakfast provided, the Hotel was not a 4 star hotel,no microwave in hotel rm,fitness rm small and in basement of hotel, hotel, located in unsafe area,no valet parking, didnt feel safe staying in hotel,rm had a view of a wall and it was on the 4th floor ,will not be back, false advertising,I want my money back!
- 3/5
The hotel is very clean and well located Staff is nice My complaint is They offer Free breakfast and they not even have a restaurant or bar No place to eat at all No even a coffee They should fix it and not sell Free Breakfast when they don’t have a place to eat
- 2/5
Upon arrival, we needed to double park because there was no parking available near the hotel. We were planning to do valet, but they were nowhere to be found. Waited in line for about 10 minutes to be checked in. Valet was back by then but was so backed up that our car was still double parked when we came down from our room later. The TV in our room wasn't connecting to any streaming services and regular channels were glitchy. Hotel couldn't fix it because maintenance had left for the day. When it came time to check out, valet was again nowhere to be found. We waited near the cold front doors looking for him, along with several other guests. After 30 minutes, the hotel manager told us that she had tried to call the valet person 5-6 times and they weren't answering their phone. This was all at check-out time when they know folks are leaving and trying to catch flights/get home. I have tried calling the supervisor (Tim H) at the valet company to request a refund, but have not received a response. While I understand this is a subcontractor, I would not stay in this hotel again as this is is unacceptable given the amount of money spent.
- 4/5
Very courteous staff. Super comfortable bed and pillows. Nice bathroom. Spacious room. Just no restaurant at this time, but they say one will be coming soon.
- 4/5
Helpful staff.
- 3/5
The water pressure in the bathroom shower could’ve been stronger and the water is lukewarm.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was fine, location great for Convention Center and the Harbor. Price was great. Will be back next year.
- 5/5
Clean and spacious room! Service all around was excellent. Would stay again!!!
- 4/5
Nice clean room. The hallways, not as much. Staff was very friendly. This also, has a great location
- 5/5
Great staff and spacious 1-bed room.
- 3/5
Breakfast bar does not exist.
- 4/5
The restaraunt was closed and I did not get breakfast that I paid for.
- 2/5
When I booked the room I was told I would get breakfast included and a king size bed room- when I arrived at the hotel I was informed that there were no king size beds available and breakfast was not included. If I knew these things prior I wouldn’t have booked. Pretty disappointed
- 5/5
The hotel was very nice and so was the staff. Will be coming back to this hotel again for Valentine's day weekend.
- 1/5
There was bugs in my shower. There was loud people in the horse party. I couldn’t sleep.
- 5/5
Very clean room, convient & affordable nice stay!!! Will definitely choose to stay here again!
- 4/5
There was no breakfast, had to walk up block, check in was smooth but $150 for incidentals is a bit much lol.
- 4/5
Nice spot, clean and easy to get around the city. The guests.
- 5/5
Didnt know about breakfast
- 4/5
It was okay.
- 2/5
Found hair in several places including inside the mini fridge and on the sheets. The utility port to charge electronics wasn’t working and my sister had to go out of her way to get it working. The shower pressure was less than ideal. And there was no breakfast so I don’t even know why Expedia is asking about that part.
- 4/5
Room was clean, check in and out was quick and courteous. Good location for inner harbor events and activities. Nothing fancy, nothing extra. We parked in a local garage overnight, no one mentioned anything about parking to us as at check in.
- 5/5
The breakfast bar was not available. That was very disappointing.
- 5/5
The room was super clean and the staff was very very nice. I really enjoyed my stay will be back soon.
- 4/5
Friendly staff and very clean
- 5/5
Polite staff, clean rooms
- 5/5
The room was good and the staff was friendly and the location was perfect for what we were doing! The only thing I would have liked, was a little more water pressure in the shower!😁
- 5/5
yes
- 5/5
Nice place
- 1/5
The first room we went into wasn’t cleaned and had blood on the wall. The second room they gave us the tv didn’t work and no hot water just warm. No compliment water, wen down stairs to purchase water no water to purchase. The person who finally fixed the tv was very professional and apologetic. Never got my check out receipt overall experience was extremely below average.
- 4/5
Room clean. No issues
- 4/5
It was nice. The room was clean. Just the ceiling is a little bit old, but the staff is very friendly. The lobby smells so good. There’s parking literally right across the street in the garage. I would recommend downloading an app so you can buy overnight parking instead of trying to park on the street. If you just need a quick place to stay, I would stay here. I wouldn’t stay here for multiple nights though.
- 3/5
The lady during the day shift at the front desk, was very rude! The women who valet parked were great but the guy who worked around midnight was very rude when asked to get our car. The room was clean and the location was convenient but a few not all of the staff members were rude!
- 1/5
Didn't have a pool and bar restaurant was closed permanently.
- 3/5
Very close stay to M&T stadium!!!
- 4/5
Wasn't able to eat breakfast because they were closed but the room itself was pretty nice
- 5/5
Room spotless front desk Great and Helpful
- 4/5
Restaurant closed for season but the staff refunded the price so all was good. They were welcoming and helpful w our checkin at around 10:30 pm. All good here - looks like it could use an update but no issues as room was clean - the faucet was loose but told staff.
- 5/5
The staff was stellar!!
- 4/5
The hotel offer no breakfast but the rooms are good and the staffs are friendly.
- 5/5
I went to the Sonesta Hotel Baltimore Inner Harbor for the Army/Navy football game, and the hotel was a not too long of a walking distance to the stadium. The hotel was decorated in Army and Navy flags and banners, along with Christmas and holiday decorations. I have to say the people that work at the Sonesta Hotel Baltimore Inner Harbor were tremendous. Anything myself, or my family needed towels, help with key cards, etc, we were always quickly helped out. The bar/dining area was great. Good food, friendly service. On Saturday night the bar/dining area was packed with Army/Navy fans after the game. I could tell the workers were stressed as it was just a few people, and lot of customers. At one point a female employee got on the microphone and gave a speech saying how sorry she was for the slow service at the moment, but that they would get to everyone. After the speech the entire group gave a round of applause. It was a moment I will never forget. Army and Navy are all about selflessness, and that's what that moment represented. Everyone in that room that night was selfless, trying to do the best they can. It was my first time ever in Baltimore, and if I ever go back to the city again, I would stay at that hotel just based off of the amazing people that work there.
- 3/5
Could have made more use of the space like maybe add chairs or a table so we can sit somewhere other than the bed. Microwaves in the room would be more convenient.
- 3/5
Hotel was clean and updated! Maid came to ask about cleaning and it never got done. We had to call down for coffee for room and were told to go down to desk to get it. Security seemed lax which was concerning on a very busy weekend.
- 5/5
I love it here and have stay here 3x
- 5/5
The hotel is good. The staff is GREAT! Every person we interacted with was excellent. Thank you for a great stay.
- 5/5
Staff was helpful and the room was nice.
- 1/5
Room was cold. Never could get the heat to work! NO wash cloths. Parking was awful and cost $50 per day!!
- 2/5
Otherwise nice place!!
- 5/5
Breakfast was great
- 4/5
Clean and spacious room. Nice staff.
- 5/5
room was excellent and service was even better
- 5/5
Great staff and pet friendly
- 1/5
When I got there the beds in my room were not made, no towels in the room. Then at first they told me I had to find another hotel because housekeeping was gone for the day. Then the maintenance person agreed to make beds so while me and my daughter stood there we watched him throw a sheet on the bed and leave blankets then I had to request towels. And there was blood in the elevator
- 4/5
The bar was great however the food was not the best fries were over cooked and wings were not great at all. The drinks were perfect but food thumbs down
- 5/5

- 5/5
Great staff
- 4/5
Staff was nice and very professional.
- 1/5
Checked into a room with a broken toilet, no hand soap, no shower gel in the container. They didn’t have any hand soap to bring up. Had to call three times to get shower gel and someone to look at the toilet. Went to the restaurant at the hotel for dinner and the chicken was raw inside. Won’t be back ever. Suggest to avoid!
- 5/5
The hotel stay was great. I celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday and check in to check out was easy and the parking is close in inexpensive. Will be rebooking.
- 5/5
Helpful, friendly, courteous, nice, clean hotel nice lobby good breakfast everything A ok! Great!
- 4/5
Clean the bar was jumping. Great time
- 5/5
Great stay. Nice clean room
- 3/5
The room was clean and the restaurant had exceptional food. However, the heat did not work, so it was a little chilli during our stay. The TV also did not work and would not turn off, so we unplugged it to sleep. Overall, the stay was okay.
- 5/5
Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
We had a great stay
- 5/5
The staff and hotel rocks!
- 4/5
Close easy self parking
- 5/5
yes and yes & the space was wonderful
- 2/5
My sink was clogged when I entered the room. However , someone came quickly to fix it. There was no soap at the sink, only a tiny lotion. Parking was $45 per night but had to keep looking for an attendant to park the car. I was told that I could self park for $25 per night at the deck around the corner. When I went there, the garage was locked. I ordered food from the restaurant on site. My order was incorrect and the chicken wings were overcooked. My husband said his sandwich was not good either. My room was ok but I hated the extra stuffed pillows. I had to sleep with no pillow for 3 nights. Most of the front desk individuals were nice but not very knowledgeable. I will never stay at Sonesta downtown again,
- 4/5
I loved staying here! It was safe and quiet! I had no issues. The staff was amazing! The front desk staff deserve a raise!
- 4/5
Clean room, great bed and pillows.
- 5/5
Really pleasant staff! Great location and competitive rates.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the hospitality of those who worked there. Especially the front desk attendants.
- 5/5
Staff service and helpfulness
- 5/5
Updated hotel with clean rooms and bathrooms. Friendly and attentive staff. Location was within 2 blocks of CFG arena.
- 2/5
The only advantage to staying at this hotel was the location. Hotel needs major updating. No hair dryer in the room or available by request. Non-slip so worn they provided zero fall protection. Only garbage can was in the bathroom. No charging ports on the nightstand.....
- 5/5
Great and friendly staff.
- 3/5
First rooom smelled like an ashtray. Front desk staff very helpful in changing rooms. Ice makers and elevator broken. Breakfast staff helpful and professional but understaffed and food was subpar. Will not stay here again.
- 5/5
The employees were very helpful and polite. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Short walk to CFG arena and restaurants.
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly and totally embraced the show and holiday over the weekend. Everything in the room worked and was extremely clean! Easy walk to the show and after parties. We felt safe and taken care of. Only thing that could have been better was a microwave in each room or on every floor. I realize the hotel was still under construction and this might not be the usual arrangements but over all I’d give it at least 👍👍👍👍
- 4/5
Location was great - with food and beverage choices nearby. Camden Yards and M&T Bank stadium within walking distance as well. Staff was polite and professional. The only “complaint” would be that Housekeeping did not replace towels or bath mat or clean the sink. They took the used towels and made the bed.
- 4/5
Great spot to stay for some concerts at CFG Arena. Clean rooms, friendly staff, and affordable
- 5/5
Nice hotel and friendly staff
- 2/5
Room cleanness, broken ac, bad water
- 5/5
Nice staff. Right in the middle of downtown. Walking distance to everything you need

It’s a wonderful spot to stay for football or baseball.

The staff was amazing, there for anything the area had any kind of dining or bars within walking distance.

Just was disappointed that there wasn’t a fridge or microwave in the room for the price I paid,
- 3/5
Average hotel nothing stand out
- 4/5
Cleaning not done for 2 days until i requested It would have been good to have Microwave oven in the Studio rooms
- 5/5
dirty face cloth left in shower. resulted in musty room smell.
- 4/5
I really enjoyed my stay at the Sonesta, staff were nice, helpful, and down to earth.
- 2/5
I was traveling alone with 2 children. We waited an hour and 30 minutes for breakfast at the restaurant. The food plates came out one at a time 15 mins apart. It seemed very short staffed with awful customer service. We stayed 2 nights and ended up checking out at 4:30 am Monday morning after two calls to the front desk asking for them to address the guests partying and screaming/fighting/slamming doors/smoking with music and TV blasting so loud it was rattling the wall in our room. Front desk lady said she warned guests to quiet down or they would have to leave. This never happened and the noise was impossible to sleep through the entire night so we checked out and drove 4 hours home on no sleep. We were not offered any kind of discount for the inconvenience. I did ask to be switched to another room but was told we would still hear the noise from what was available since these guests were up roaming the floor all night.
- 1/5
Housekeepers did not clean to do clean the room on the second night or a day completely ran out of toilet paper. After a request in toilet paper and it didn’t come.
- 5/5
Nice little hotel! Close to lots of parking options and walkable to the harbor! Staff was very friendly!
- 1/5
The staff was very nice but I had a terrible experience
- 3/5
The room had only 1 regular coffee insert/pod. Since there were 2 of us and we both wanted regular coffee in the morning, I called the front desk. They said to come down and they'd give us another regular coffee pod. I went down, and then they said that they had only decaf, not regular pods. Then they said we could get free coffee at the cafe. I mentioned this the next morning at the cafe, and they told us that they couldn't give us free coffee and instead charged us $5/cup. Also, the sound on the TV went in and out. We couldn't get any sound at all when streaming Pandora. Very annoying.
- 4/5
Rooms not cleaned in 2 days
- 5/5
Nice hotel. Very friendly staff! Walking distance to the CFG arena. I had a great stay !
- 2/5
Room Didn’t feel that clean and the blankets were itchy
- 2/5
This is definitely not a 4 star hotel. Our room never got cleaned and we had to call every day for towels. The room and building had a bad smell. This hotels needs a lot of TLC.
- 5/5
Nice hotel and very convenient for my travels
- 3/5
The room smelled like stale water and booty. There was a weird ring in the bathroom that would start every time you turned the light on. The hotel had a bunch of sketchy people around it and it was dirty. The walls are so thin. I could hear everything in the hallway
- 5/5
Very helpful staff.
- 5/5
The hotel itself was spotless — from the lobby to the rooms, everything was clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. It’s clear that cleanliness and guest comfort are top priorities here. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay. I’ll definitely be coming back!
- 4/5
Very limited food options in the immediate area of the hotel, and lots of homeless people on the street.
- 5/5
Flew in for quick weekend trip and never expected to be let in to a room at 1000am. Friendly reception.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, and great location
- 3/5
On Monday morning around 7:45, there was a loud knock on my door and when I yelled out hello, no one answered. I looked out the peephole and saw three young men in hoodies walking down the hallway, knocking doors. I noticed that at times there was no one at the front desk! The security at this hotel is horrible. I felt extremely unsecure! I will not come back to this property.
- 5/5
Parking was super easy because it was valet. $45. The hotel was close to everything though, and we were able to walk everywhere or ride Lime scooters. Even easy walk to the stadiums!
- 4/5
Staff was great! Restaurant not open the first couple of days died to running out of food.

- 1/5
Very rude and unprofessional
- 4/5
When we arrived they gave us a room that hadn't been cleaned. After waiting to hear from front desk a nice man who may have been with cleaning staff escorted us back down to lobby and told management the issue. They apologized and within 15 minutes found us a different room that was ready for us. The room was nice except that the air conditioning wasn't working right so it was almost a damp feeling in the room. It was a great location for the inner harbor area/stadium area where we wanted to stay. Bartendar was great!!
- 3/5
The WiFi is slow and being on the 6th floor shower water is luke warm/hot
- 4/5
Friendly staff and the hotel is located in a nice location.
- 2/5
No washcloths upon arrival. Bathroom was not clean. Room smelled moldy.
- 1/5
smell V everywhere.
- 5/5
I only have one complaint and that was they didn't respect my privacy sign, and cleaned my room. 😔😔
- 5/5
great staff
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
Staff was amazing. The girls at the front, as well as the bartenders and wait staff. 2 negatives were there was no mini fridge and the bar did not have Jameson. Besides that, no complaints.
- 2/5
Wi-Fi did not work. Well, there was no chair in the room. The handicap bathroom was poorly set up. The webpage said there was room service, and there was not. The restaurant downstairs did not support take away food. Will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
We stayed at the Sonesta Hotel while visiting Baltimore for a Ravens game and an Orioles game. The location was perfect—just a short walk to both M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It’s also right across from the Inner Harbor, making it easy to enjoy the shops and restaurants nearby. Once we parked the car, we never needed it again since everything was within walking distance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, which made our stay even better.
- 1/5
Horrible area. Rats everywhere.
- 5/5
Very helpful and friendly staff.
- 5/5
The entire staff was warm & friendly. A special thank you to the ladies at the front desk who were so helpful!
- 3/5
Per the person who stayed in the room that I reserved it for: "The property itself was excellent. The restaurant took a couple of days to open up for an unknown reason. Staff were attentive, until the last night. I returned to my room and it appeared room service was still cleaning my floor so I left to go sit in the lobby to allow them to finish. When I returned to my room the bed went unmade, no fresh towels, the towels on the floor were still there and what really irked me was a cooler bag and cup that I received as swag for the meeting I was attending were gone. I had been planning on giving it to the staff but I didn't like that they were stolen." I told him he should have gone to the management but he does not like doing it so it just left a bad feeling to what had otherwise been a good week.
- 2/5
Convenient location is the only thing going for this hotel. But it was overpriced for how dirty it was. Walls were paper thin with people being noisy in the halls well into the night.
- 1/5
Room smelled like smoke and perfume. Hair in shower and on bathroom floor. Didn’t even stay the night, I couldn’t take it.
- 4/5
Check-in was 3pm but room was not ready until 4pm.
- 5/5
The property was excellent and the front desk was superb however I only gave it 3 stars due to the valet parking it was truly a nightmare. The gentleman who my husband gave the car and keys to told him he would get a text right away with car parking details an hour later my husband goes down and is met by another valet he explains he has not received the text. The gentleman ask who took care of him my husband sees the valet rep running back and forth with no clue as to where the keys were after waiting the guy assisting checks and finds keys and ask my husband are those the keyw which they were. The car was parked wrong plate and the keys never secured. the night before leaving we were skeptical and barely slept to ensure we got the car out before the gentleman ends his shift to ensure we did not have any further issues. Other than the parking valet issues we had a superb time the hotel is very clean.
- 5/5
Loved the valet text option. Car was there and ready when I needed it.
- 3/5
The dining part of this hotel is a disaster. The bar has limited kinds of alcohol, missing items on the menus and Breakfast was so bad the manager said we did not have to pay for the two meals they only served us out of 7 meals. From what I understand they are under new management. Our room was very clean and comfortable!
- 3/5
Room’s fridge did not work - called desk & staff person immediately came & fixed it. Room did not have coffee pot & I let cleaning company know - a pot was brought in. Bed was perfectly made.
- 2/5
The hotel is nice looking overall, however, the small details were not good. Ac in one of our group’s team didn’t work, our tub was cracked, no ice on our floor, and the restaurant service was quite poor. Definitely will not be going back
- 5/5
Very clean, large television in room. Convenient to Baltimore Harbor
- 4/5
Staff at the bar were great
- 5/5
The hotel was greatly priced and very clean rooms. Valet service was good and overall we enjoyed our stay. Conveniently located we will come back again.
- 3/5
This property is labeled Sonesta Inner Harbor. It is actually 3-4 blocks north of the harbor. Unlike their sister hotel The Sonesta Harbor Court that I had stayed at many times. The names of the hotels lead to confusion on their actual location. 45 dollars a night for parking
- 3/5
Was sad that the streaming services were down during our entire stay
- 3/5
Amazing front desk staff. Very helpful
- 5/5
Very coded to the convention center. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Room was clean and comfortable
- 5/5
Sincerely appreciate the front desk staff, all were extremely friendly and efficient. Loved my stay here.
- 4/5
Staff was great. Building and room was clean. Only gripe I did have was the long wait time I had for my breakfast in the morning. From the time I ordered and got my food it was well over a 45 minute wait.
- 3/5
much. We were in room 423 which smelled "funny" when you entered the room. The room lights were not bright enough for me, even when every room light was turned on. We had a problem with the response time when getting our car from PMC.
- 5/5
The staff was great. Very friendly.
- 5/5
Everything was fine.
- 4/5
The staff was attentive !
- 5/5
It was amazing! Outstanding customer service. I will highly recommend it to my friends and colleagues
- 4/5
The staff was nice. The hotel is close to food and stadium. Room was ok, bed was comfy. The hallway smelled, could of been from the heat/humidity.
- 1/5
The room wasn’t clean. I has cigarettes smell
- 5/5
Pleasant stay
- 1/5
Our carpet was soaking wet -got a 2nd room, key did not work. No one was work in my the restaurant…so we gave up trying
- 5/5
The staff at the front desk made my stay memorable. From their warm greetings to the "sorry Dodgers" note left after the Os won the series, they were the best. Will be back for my next Camden Yards visit.
- 3/5
Parking: No parking and the staff offered to valet but we not very nice about it. There are a lot of one-way streets and I was made to circle around the hotel multiple times, and after being dismissed by the person working vlaet, had to drive 2 blocks away and park in a garage. Also, we wanted to dine there and there was limited staff which resulted in us waiting an hour for our order. The gentleman was very nice and offered an apology but as a result, we had to rush to get to our event as a result.
- 4/5
USBs weren't working in room.
- 5/5
We stayed to attend a concert at CFG Arena, which is conveniently located just a block away. The front desk staff was really friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
The hotel & room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The remotes were even clean which I hate a gross remote you can tell hasn’t been cleaned. The guy working the valet parking was amazing. Only thing was there weren’t enough lights in our room it was very dark. Would have liked an actual lamp.
- 4/5
Pillows could be upgraded but that was it
- 3/5
I chose this hotel for location and because hotels.com showed that it had a king suite that slept 4. A roll-away would be available at no charge. This was simply not true. It does not sleep 4. There was no roll-away bed. I was told these things don’t exist here.
- 5/5
Es muy limpio el hotel!
- 5/5
We stayed for one night. Check in was easy and smooth and the room was nice and clean! The area is good (we uberd everywhere). Check out was at 11 the following day. The elevators were a bit hot (not that that’s a problem I just found it weird). Overall, I would stay again!
- 4/5
Clean
- 5/5
Parking sucks, extremely high deposit
- 4/5
The valet parking over charged me for 2 days and housekeeping walked into our room twice without announcing themselves. Other than that they were hospitable and kind.
- 3/5
I dont like the parking they charge $45 a day which is high for you to be paying to stay at the property they should offer free parking to guest. Ice machine didnt work and neither fid one of the elevators.
- 5/5
Great place in downtown Baltimore.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and The little Restaurant had Great food, and Cool Bartender
- 2/5
Check in was terrible-their credit card machine was broken and check in took forever.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice very clean, my only issues was the parking it’s $45. If you’re staying at the hotel it should be a discounted rate.
- 5/5
Room could use a new AC wasn’t working too well. Other than that was a fine stay
- 5/5
Special thanks to the valet service (Ashley)
- 1/5
Tv did not work properly, no shampoo in the room, noisy at night making it difficult to sleep, no luggage trolley on arrival of departure. No breakfast due to lack of service help. Not worth the rate
- 4/5
Particular shout out for Aaron on reception who sorted out our car return and gave us £5 for the bus fare because don’t want us flashing large bills. True service.
- 4/5
When we finally arrived to the hotel, despite the fact that I called ahead of time so that there was no surprises. We were told about the parking at that moment, which was an extra charge we were not prepared for. And also during check-in, there is an extra charge for incidentals which again I asked when I called to the hotel to ask about any amenities around the area and was there anything that I needed to know and I was again told no. There was a total of almost over $100 of incidentals and car parking that was never discussed. The pictures on the website also are deceiving because they show the other hotel instead of this one, we had a suite and the room make up was completely different than what we expected, even though it was very clean. Once we got dressed in the bedroom area I slipped and fell in the Living room area, going to the door. The floor had a waxy surface and it was like a skating ring as we were late for our activities after checking in. All were reported to the front desk. The front desk staff was excellent ! They were very accommodating and apologize proficiently. But our overall stay was comfortable.
- 3/5
Ok for price, a bit better awareness of maintenance issues would help
- 1/5
Valet lost my car key miraculously disappeared from ten fob. The carpet was wet ups on arrival .. mold in the air vent on ceiling .
- 3/5
The hotel room carpet was just cleaned and the carpet was still damp when we checked in. The room smelled damp. The shower water pressure was “third world country level.” No amount of adjustment to the shower head could fix it. The onsite restaurant was pretty good. The breakfast was quite good and the service was remarkable.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 5/5
This is an excellent location for a stay in Baltimore. Its close to inner harbor. Dining options nearby a plus. The staff is everything; professional, friendly and so very helpful. Shanae, Aaron and Dorothy were standout members of the team. The rooms are nice clean and quiet. I would stay at this location again when traveling to Baltimore. Excellent!!!
- 5/5
Great staff very clean nice rooms!
- 4/5
No obvious recycling. Toilet paper thin and cheap. Room spacious and quiet. Good bed. Cheerful competent service.
- 2/5
The room smelled very musty and the bed linens were constantly damp from the humidity in the room. Only half of the outlets in the room worked. Maintenance came up and git one bedside outlet to work, but not the other one. The only options for parking is to valet your car, but 3 out of 4 times we wanted to get the car the valet was not at the stand and it would take over half an hour to get the car. We came back to hotel late one evening and the doors into the hotel were locked. Our key would not open the doors and no one was at the desk. We had to bang on the door and call to get someone to let us in. The restaurant on site has very limited hours so we did not try the food. Overall, a disappoinying and uncomfortable stay.
- 2/5
Front Desk and Maintenance were excellent. The Hotel itself is in poor condition.
- 4/5
The on-site restaurant was not properly stocked
- 5/5
Very spacious
- 5/5
Alot of homeless people in area
- 4/5
Hotel was just okay. I felt like the value was fine for the price but would probably stay somewhere nicer the next time around.
- 5/5
Staff was accommodating Libby was clean
- 3/5
The hotel was really nice I booked a city view room got a concrete Wall sight. Please update website to reflect actual room. Thanks
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay at Sonesta Hotel, Baltimore Inner Harbor. The staff was great! My husband unknowingly left his wallet there and they called us to let us know. Once we returned home, I realized we left some valuable items in our hotel room and they confirmed that they did have the items and worked with me to have them shipped to me.
- 1/5
The bathtub does not have a non-slip rubber mat, which makes it very unsafe to use when taking a shower. Because of missing coffee mathine in my room, I tried to call the front desk and found the phone doesn't work, I had to go to the first floor to tell them the question. About 5 mineuts, one of the staff brought a coffee machine to my room, when I was going to use it I found a screw inside and very dirty, I had to go to the first floor again for another coffee machine.
- 5/5
Walked to convenience store on the corner (Royal Farms) about 10:00pm to pick up some snacks and a bunch of high school age kids (12-15 of them) walked in the store while I was shopping and helped themselves to everything and even filled backpacks and walked out. As I was paying for my bottled waters, I asked if this was normal and she said yes. I asked where the cops were and she just kind of looked defeated. There needs to be more police presence in this area. It happened again the next evening. Not the hotel’s fault. Everyone there was exceptional. Downtown Baltimore is overrun with crappy kids like this and they need to clean it up. These kids should all be arrested.
- 4/5
My stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Beds were comfortable. They had no iron, had to request one. Had a false fire alarm during the night which was very inconvenient. Nobody said it was until we called to verify. There is no full length mirror in the room. Other than that two nights were okay.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
This was one of the best stays I have had down in tje States. Every single employee at this hotel was kind and helpful and a joy to interact with. It was the perfect distance from Camden Yards
- 3/5
Property was just ok
- 3/5
Very misleading. Thought this was closer to the actual harbor. Not satisfied with the location.
