    Nothing. We have always stayed at La Quinta and have always had clean rooms and good service. This time was the total opposite. To start off with our room was dated smelled horrible and had dried blood stains on the pull out bed and sofa, dident feel comfortable or safe and it was the "Best room they had." Service was horrible, very rude and pool was closed without reason for the whole spring break weekend. For "Maintenance".

    Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the location was perfect because it was surrounded by other businesses so I didn't have to drive far for anything. The elevator was missing buttons and it sounded like at any moment it would give out. While the hotel is pet friendly I overheard someone on staff say they didn't know that many dogs were staying there which was disturb because I literally saw dogs my whole stay. And the carpet smells like model, both in the rooms and stairwell.

    We’ve stayed here many times and always come back. I use a CPAP machine and always have to bring an extension cord because there are NO electrical outlets anywhere near the beds. The man checking us in was polite and nice. But he was training a young woman who looked sullen and unpleasant. Hope she doesn’t check me in next time!

    The room was very nice. The staff was Awesome! I am used to a hot breakfast to start my day and the only thing that was hot was pancakes. I like eggs,etc. I also looked forward to sitting around the pool in the late evenings but it was not avaliable so there was no where to sit outside except at the front on a bench.

    The only thing I didn't like was that I had a second pending charge on my account of $200+, luckily I didn't get charged for that 2nd amount but when I spoke to the staff, nobody knew what that amount was for. I would just say, if you rent here, keep an eye on your bank account to make sure that you do not get charged double.

    Breakfast didn’t have very many options. Waffles were good, but cold boiled eggs, bread/toast, yogurt and muffins. No meat, no bagels, and I know it doesn’t have to be extravagant but some kind of meat would have been nice or even warm scrambled eggs. We wanted to use the pool we only booked the room because it said they had a pool. But it was out of service when we got there and she was super nice and said we could still cancel and since we wanted the pool, but it was too late every where was booked full or way out of price range. We booked two month in advance for this and were extremely disappointed. The staff was nice, but if their pool is down they should have that turned off as something we can use. I have paid the same price for big breakfasts, weight room and pool. And no the pool didn’t just happen to go down. It wasn’t up for the season yet. They said they are trying though.

    No eating breakfast in your rooms but you can order pizza in your room! Kids No sitting on or looking out of your windows or they will panic and threaten to call police on you and also ban you from the hotel! The owners are not American and very strict they’re not very children friendly here very rude when it comes to children here or wanting to eat breakfast inside your room that you paid for !

    Unfortunately, they had bed bugs and/or a tick in the bed and I ended up getting bit all over my arm and face after I slept. On one side of the bed I had the top corner smelt of something I could only assume to be cat pee. They did offer me a full refund with barely any questions asked.

    The rest: the guest hallways on our floor (4th) stunk like weed and I don't know what. When we got in our room, the floor was damp and tje fam was going full blast. The room had a weird smell. We got in with our 2 young children at 11p and had to get up earlier so we decided to "tough it out" and hope whatever was going on would.resolve itself. In the morning, still damp. Still funky. We went to our event and got back around 8. Same condition so my husband saw a hotel attendant in the hallway and explained. The attendant said we must have got a "humid room" and that he would bring a dehumidifer...unbelievable. We weighed our options. I tried to find other hotels in the area but with the event in town and late notice, it was difficult. We are considering if we want to escalate this issue as whether a consumer is paying $10 or $100, they deserve a healthy situation. Not a room that is probably growing mold. If they were shampooing the carpet, they shouldn't have rented the room. And if not, something really wrong is going on that they need to fix asap. Not acceptable. Don't stay here.

    I booked La Quinta, because after the stay in El Paso I thought we were going to have a good experience, but never mind, this hotel is not at the same level, our room had dirty sheets, a big black spot on my fitted not fitting sheet, had to sleep on the top covers, the hallway walls were all beat up, and the elevator was missing the inside button to open the door, I do not know how legal is that, the two bedrooms next to me were kept open, kind of creepy I must say, and the highway noise was unbearable, we thought the windows were open when we first walked in. Sorry but I do not know if I will be brave enough to book another La Quinta, if they do not keep the hotels at the same level

    Management was horrible and your clerk Nicole needs to be fired. They lied and ran the wrong card 3 times and not the right one that I gave them. Stated they attempted but they never did because I would have gotten a notification. Money was there because when I returned from work when they scanned the physical card it went through. They then said we had to check out the next day and we were planning on being there till our apartment was ready. I will not recommend this establishment to anyone

    Told them before i left to work I was extending and I’ll do a reservation online which I did and they tried running the wrong card 3 times and not the right card so therefore kicked us out of the room even though I went and paid them with the same card in person they said supposedly declined which I would have gotten notice if it had been declined they ran my other card 3 times because I have proof of it. Manger was very rude and so was the clerk Nancy. Will not encourage anyone to stay there ever

    Room was fine. Smelled just a bit when I walked in. Like fried shrimp but at least it wasn’t an overpowering cleaning fluid smell. Staff very nice. Even though I was in the last room at the very end of the long hall the early morning traffic sounds were so loud. Maybe get sound-light blocking curtains on the windows.

    Everything was amazing from the wonderful service given by the young lady at check in. Don't mind any negative reviews! This hotel is clean and the service is great! The was the best stop I could have made off the 10 while traveling with family. Price was the best and so was the service. My daughters and I were blessed to receive a family suite, we had so much space and slept so well! It was also very quite and peaceful! The only thing I didn't give 5 stars on hear nothing to do with the staff, environment nor cleanliness it was just the breakfast. The breakfast is a corporate thing as this is what they offer at all hotels. Cereal, bread, eggs and waffles. The breakfast area was clean, neat and the staff continued to wipe as stations were used. I did not have interaction with the morning desk staff but the ladies in the dining area were pleasant and again the night desk clerk was amazing! I can't stress that enough, her attitude was welcoming, kind, cheerful, patient and ready to fix any issues or concerns! She literally should be the standard of all hospitality agents! Thank you all for an amazing stay! Me and my girls enjoyed and appreciated everything!

    The one critique we have is that the room smelled damp and dank. It had a strong odor, which was a bit all consuming. There seems to be a high level of humidity in the rooms, and the a/c doesn't seem to dry it out. But other than that, the bed was comfy, sheets were clean and the room seemed pretty clean. The breakfast was pretty sparse, no hot elements. But, we were just there to crash for the night.

    The whole time we were their ac didn’t work well and it barely got cool. The bed was hard for me but my husband liked it like that. Their was some areas you saw stains or something on the walls, not cleaned properly. The breakfast wasn’t great but I guess well enough to at least have something in your stomach. Their is good restaurants and walgreens near by, dutch bros across the freeway. The elevator and hallways were hot as well.

    This hotel is always our go to when visiting Baytown. Decent service for a decent price. Cant complain about the rooms except the room was a little hot. The AC worked but didn’t seem to cool the room very efficiently. Breakfast is basic but good. Never have any problems here and it’s generally very quiet. Area feels safe as well.

    These two facts made me seriously doubt the cleanliness of the hotels in whole. Over 20 of my team travel for work and I will definitely be letting my coworker know beware of La Quinta motels. I don't consider la Quinta a hotel. After this I consider them a motel of very low quality

    This hotel was clean with friendly staff! It was a quick check in with easy parking. Literally nothing to complain about. I would mention the breakfast provided is limited options but nothing too worrisome with all the surrounding breakfast restaurants.

    The room was clean and the staff was friendly. They don't clean the room every day and don't bring clean towels unless you ask for them, you also have to take out your own trash. We were on the 3rd floor and the only elevator stopped working so we had to use the stairs. Also the pool was not very clean when we got there so we only used it once.

    Thin wall establishment. Can literally hear all of the sounds from outside. Staff at front desk is always helpful and friendly. The area as a whole is not the safest but that’s not the hotels fault. I’ve stayed here multiple times and will continue to stay bc it’s affordable. Note: this isn’t a complaint only a review

    The room was nice and roomy, and the clientel was safe. The receptionist was nice, and the batchroom and towels was clean. The breakfast was very limited. Fitness room was just a bike and running mill.

    We stayed in Laquinta this week. The room smelled musty, and honestly was disappointed overall with our stayed. The elevator was sketchy, outdated room, facility. Needs a major updated. Honestly you get what you pay for and learned my lesson for our next trip. Wyndham group very disappointing. Breakfast was not good. I got coffee one day and was cold. I don’t recommend, or will stay in this place again.

    I frequently stay at this location and service is always good, especially the front desk staff. I have noticed that people who reside there with children should be courteous of other residents. There are times when the running and playing can be disturbing. I also think all bathrooms should come with adult size toilets. Thank you for your concern.

    We only stayed to sleep because of the long drive, my family was tired driving back from Orlando. Wouldn’t stay here again the room was dirty, the hall way and elevator was hot no ac definitely outdated.

    I chose this hotel based on its high ratings, but unfortunately, my experience was far from what I expected. Upon arrival, I was shocked by the overall condition of the property. The hotel is noticeably outdated and lacked cleanliness — there was a strong musty, humid odor throughout, and the bathroom had an unpleasant smell, similar to urine. The room was poorly lit, which added to the uncomfortable atmosphere. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was not working during my stay. I was repeatedly told it was being fixed, but I was never informed about the issue beforehand. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. Will not stay again

    Stay was great, except for one thing. Not sure, but maybe the window in room 223 needs to be changed. The noise from the interstate was kind of loud, but we made do. Would have given 5 stars if the room was just a tad quieter. Overall, was a superb stay and would definitely stay here again.

    I checked in on April 2nd and as soon as I walked in my room I was greeted with the smell of dog urine and chemicals. I stayed in the room for about 15 minutes and I started to get a headache. I figured maybe food would help so as I was leaving the hotel to get some food, I asked the sweet guy at the front desk if all the rooms smelled like this and he told me “no” but he was sweet enough to put me in another room. I go to grab my stuff out of my room to bring to my new room and my ankles start to itch….i sit down to look at my ankles and I had flea bites on my ankles. Through out the hotel the carpet has a very overwhelming smell to it and I don’t think it’s physically healthy to stay here especially if you’re breathing in chemicals and getting bitten by fleas. I want to remind everyone that the staff is not the problem here, it’s the building and they all deserve raises because despite the problems this place has they all still have smiles on their faces.
