We had a wonderful stay at SpringHill Suites! The hotel was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The food was amazing, and the location was perfect, close to everything we needed while traveling. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We look forward to coming back!

Clean room, very helpful staff, went above and beyond to help out. Although we paid about 27$ for an overnight parking spot, it’s not a dealbreaker. The hotel was quiet, and room was spacious. Great experience.

In addition to that, the parking also had an extra charge of $30 per night. Just like the cleaning fee, I have never been charged for using a hotel’s parking. They assigned me a room next to the exit door to make it easier for me to take my dog out frequently; however, the room had several issues. The carpet was dirty and loose, which could cause someone to trip. The bed frame was dirty with what appeared to be blood stains. Near the curtains, we found spider nests that had not been removed or vacuumed. In the bathroom, the air extractor was not working. Overall, I am not able to recommend this hotel, especially not for pet owners

As to breakfast all good, just think they should not stop restocking at 8:45 when breakfast ends at 9:30 am, since I saw guests looking for more toast, milk, and English muffins. Plus when they do serve eggs they tend to be more watery than other hotels.

Really nice place to stay but the only thing that made me a little disappointed was that we asked if we can have 3 pillows because we needed extra for a family of 4 and the room did not gave us the extra ones that usually comes in a bag. They said they didnt have any but looking and taking a peek from front counter, they do have a lot. I don’t know if they have some protocol but they could have atleast be nice. But other than that we had a great time during our stay here!

Rooms HVAC is loud. Dripping sound all night with some unseen pipes. They helped us with another room late at night but after calling a number of times. First room was not thoroughly clean. Second room was cleaned well. Overall not a good stay.

I didn't like the very high fee for parking, especially when I arrived so late and was still charged the high fee.

The beds are very comfortable. There was a nasty stain on the couch roll out bed where my 2 boys slept.

However, facilities did not meet our expectation. I reserved 2 beds, yet we got 1 king bed. Shower room is too small and bad design, because you could not reach the handle for water temperature. When you open the door, the handle is hidden behind the door.

Decent sized room for a family of 5 and a pet. Clean and spacious. They had a great breakfast spread. The bar is a nice touch. $24 a day parking. $150 pet fee is just as much as we paid for the room. Booking.com doesn’t show this pet fee. Be prepared.

This was the second time we stayed at this property. Not too far from DTSF and San Jose. Perfect location. Room was perfect for us. Complimentary breakfast was good. Nothing special just good to filled up our stomach before heading out. Staff was friendly and very professional. Parking fee little bit high. Need more of disabled parking spots, especially in front entrance.

We’ve stay in many hotels do to sports. This by far has been the best hotel to stay at. Their breakfast is absolutely amazing! many selections.

We stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row because of our girls playing at the volleyball tournament at the San Mateo event center. A few moms are downstairs, eating and having a cocktail when some of those other moms went downstairs to join them. It was about 920 and I tried to order from the bar and she told me that she was closed. This is on a Saturday night with a packed hotel room with lots of volleyball parents. The moms we sat down with said that she said she was gonna close early and have them do last call around 9 o’clock. Then about 20 minutes later so about 940 a couple walked up to the bar sits down and she serves them after telling me that she was closed. If she decided to reopen, she should’ve walked over and offered a beverage to us Moms who were turned down about 20 minutes ago. This is absolutely rude and uncalled for. I’m not sure why she decided to close early, but the fact that she did all of this in front of us and didn’t even apologize and offer us a beverage is rude. I’m not sure if I will return and the entire group of the volleyball moms either. So maybe next time the server behind the bar could treat everybody equally because there’s no need for her to refuse to serve us, but then serve another couple shortly after.

Would of been nice if breakfast would be offered before 7am, we go to san Mateo a lot for volleyball tournaments and when they play AM waves , the girls need to leave hotels by 630 am

They were the ones who explain to us how to turn the lights on with the room card made are room temperature just right for are stay. They were quick to pick up are breakfast trays .

The furniture and amenities were modern and new, but the cleanliness was lacking. We stayed for three nights, and the housekeeping staff didn’t clean our room until we called the front desk on our last night. Breakfast was the same every morning and offered limited options. All the food was unhealthy and excessively sugary. I would give the hotel three stars for the quick response from the front desk and the EV chargers, as well as for the modern furniture.

It was decent. Quiet. Paying for parking felt pretty ridiculous. Staff weren’t exactly terrible but didn’t display good customer service either. Just overall okay.

We didn't require daily room cleaning, and the maids were ok with that. Coming from a small community that doesn't recycle, I could have used more info about what could be recycled and composed. Also, a list of the local TV stations would be quite helpful. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the noise level was minimal.

Rooms are very well kept, refreshed and new. The common areas are a bit musty, but no big deal.

I had no hot water the entire weekend. No shower. Apparently the pipe broke on Friday. They gave no notice or any compensation for the inconvenience.

people who actually resided at hotel. No room service unless requested, which we did. Bed made, no new sheets. No toiletries and only 2 8oz bottles of water. Many families and sports teams. Easily 20 people at a time at small pool. Breakfast was a madhouse of people after 7 am in too small a dinning space. And kids running up and down halls unattended. A few pounded at our door at about 9 pm rattling the door violently. Located in a business park, parking a car was $22 a night. Ridiculous as many people milling around and no security offered. Also, many parking signs which were confusing leaving one feeling that parking spaces were off limits especially in the front of the hotel. Go somewhere else. Overall feeling was it’s a sketchy, uncomfortable place.

Only thing I didn’t like not sure if problem in all there rooms. Our room had the AC right next to the bed. I slept on that side my wife on the other. The sound of AC coming on and off was disturbing my sleep, worse part was cold air blowing right at me. Terrible AC placement location. I froze all night but couldn’t turn it off cause it would get hot in the room. It’s bad enough that I wouldn’t stay here again if all rooms are the same. Did mention to staff upon checking out.

I’m giving this hotel a 10 because, overall, we liked it a lot, but it wasn’t perfect. The beds were fantastic, the bathroom was nice and clean, and it was nice having a couch in the room. A couple of things that were not perfect were: the couch area felt a little dingy and the location of the bathroom right in front of one of the beds was less private than most hotels. Also, the bathroom door was translucent so you couldn’t close it and have complete privacy. On the positive side, the room was very spacious and the shower, which was broken when we arrived, was fixed very quickly when we reported it. The pool was quite nice although small, and with only a few lounge chairs.

Simply amazing she was so polite very friendly answered all my questions gave me some great advice on where to go. Absolutely loved her. The cleaning service people were amazing as well. I was here for 5 days, the room was awesome and the hotel had everything I needed for the first leg of my long trip. I only wish that there was a few more house cleaning services during my stay, I believe I only had one. The night before check out I had to go to the front desk to ask for more coffee and toilet paper.

The property was clean and staff was friendly but sale tactic is dishonest. they list their rooms cheaper than the other hotels in the area only to throw all these unexpected fees at you at check-in. $22 parking $20 for deposit and $50 for pet.

Decent hotel in a great area!

I liked the room. We stayed for two nights a family of five and we were comfortable. We did needed to ask for extra towels, bedding and for an ice bucket. The breakfast didn’t have fruit for one of our days and it was very crowded. The washer and dryer didn’t work with the app. We had to take our clothes wet with us.

Front staff was direct and rude (di not get a name but he has a strong Indian Accent) Not very service oriented. Needs a lesson in customer service.

Room was clean, breakfast had no healthy options (just donuts and white flour bagels) nor black tea of any kind, and the staff person at the breakfast was rude. I politely asked her if there was any black tea (as the basket only had herbal varieties) and she rudely replied , "NO!" in a harsh, annoyed tone and walked away. I have never experienced a hotel breakfast that does not offer black tea.

The billing for the parking is also odd. We stayed 3 nights which was $66 for parking, but we're charged $70 because of how their billing system works. After calling, it was explained that we works be refunded $60 for the incidentals charge, since we hadn't charged anything to the room, and $4 for the extra parking charge in a few days. It would have been nice to see all of this up front to avoid the extra phone call.

Property in safe business district location. however, the hotel is in much worse condition since the last time we stayed a year ago. Elevator and hall way carpets were dirty and rooms are starting to show their age. Continental breakfast offering was very unimpressive.

I pickled this hotel for 2 reasons: (1) the type of room, and (2) the continental breakfast. I will not stay here again. Our first morning there we went downstairs for breakfast. It was 8:45 a.m. and breakfast was being served until 9:30 a.m. I assumed there would still be plenty of options available at that time. It was horrible! There were 2 lines of people down the corridor waiting to serve themselves and waiting to make a waffle. The trashes were overflowing and there was no where to sit. People who were able to still get whatever food was left were going back up to their rooms with it. The staff did not and was not replenishing anything. We were lucky to have gotten a cup of coffee. The coffee ran out halfway through my pouring it. In addition, there were only 2 entrees available to choose from; an egg and a meat. It was just disgusting. We left and walked to a restaurant that was a few hotels down. The hotel also charged us $22.00 a day for parking. I was ok with it when I booked the hotel because I assumed it was a security type parking structure...nope, it was an open parking lot. What a ripoff. This place is absolutely horrible. There are plenty hotels on this area...do yourself a huge favor and stay at one of the others. I didn't think to take a picture of the scene for posting.

Julia was really great from the time I booked to when I checked out. She was really nice throughout my stay. When I had 1 minor issue, she assisted me promptly. This hotel is a great if you’re checking out the local Zoo or any leisure type activities.

Marriott used to be a good brand of mid-range hotels, but now it’s become synonymous with poor service and lack of attention to detail. After this experience I am going to stay away from Marriotts forever.

Stayed the weekend for a travel soccer tournament. Most of our team families were on the same floor, so that was nice. The room was great, firmer pillows would have been a plus. The AC could be better, but i think its programmed to save electricity.

We stayed 2 nights and it was wonderful. We enjoyed the continental breakfast which was always full and clean and they had plenty of seating for us.The shower pressure was nice and plenty of lighting in the bathroom to apply my makeup only downside was the mirror. It was almost like the mirror had a film on it. I was shocked at the $22 parking night fee, but I just wanted to rest my head after a long day. Overall it was a great stay though.

The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was good, but I advise getting there early; otherwise, you have a limited selection. I am unsure if perhaps the weekend we selected was not a busy week for the hotel but the bar closed very early.

Stay was amazing! Room and hotel was very nice and newly furnished. My only issue with the stay was the bathroom, it was right in front of the beds and had a foggy window resulting in little privacy as the silhouette was visible.

The rug in the hallway on the 2nd floor needs to be replaced. We were disappointed the day aftee check in that our room wasn't cleaned. I had to request a clean. I had other family show up and I needed extra towels and bedding. I had extra charges that popped up on my account without explanation then they disappeared. It was strange to be told that they would not change my credit card until the end of the stay for parking but I was charged the 1st day and acquired bank fees because of it. I don't think we will stay here again

Great stay and it was far enough from the airport to not hear the noise but still close enough to make and early morning flight. No restaurants close by to really walk to.

I felt very welcome and comfortable as soon as I entered! The employee who helped me was super friendly and kind. We meant to stay for 2 nights, but I had to extend it for 1 more day and the woman who assisted with that made it super easy and smooth. Will definitely be back!
