The hotel's location, close to downtown and various attractions, is also a highlight. However, some guests have issues with noise, either from neighboring rooms or external sources.

Staff was wonderful!
- 5/5
Didn’t make it to breakfast but imagine it was great. I loved the hot tea in the lobby when I arrived. Rooms were large clean and fully stocked. Courtyard looked nice at night. Paying for parking with no info regarding that before booking! Not very friendly, basic info. Staff was not very inviting.

What an awesome, new hotel location in Bend, OR! It was very modern and beautiful inside! We did experience our first ever fire alarm that went off, and we had to evacuate the building for about 20 minutes. I also had to call to get an accidental taxes charge reversed, that the hotel admitted was a mistake. Other than those little hiccups, we really enjoyed our stay, and will return again!
- 4.5/5
Bed was comfortable, room was clean, good enough space for 2 people. Breakfast was so so.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
New and clean (almost Spartan). Big bright lobby. Nice staff. Room was fine. Easy walking to downtown (we did it 3x in two days). Pretty city!
- 5/5
Great place to stay!

The food. I was expecting better quality. Looks like one egg by person, the service was so slow.

The view, like the shower, the suite was clean. The food. I was expecting better quality. Looks like one egg by person, the service was so slow.

Pepsi sucks. I know it's local and or corporate, but Pepsi sucks.
- 5/5
Initial room was mismatched, not accessible, but staff found an appropriate room for us. Pool has a wheelchair lift. Breakfast is a bit simple, cook does not keep up. Coffee was not consistently strong enough. Element Bend is stylish and comfortable. We will happily stay there again.

The breakfast didn’t have any hot food… didn’t like the grab and go breakfast.
- 3.5/5
Location. There were dirty dishes in our room. Under the couch had not been vacuumed.

The breakfast options were the weakest link to the whole chain; everything else was either up to snuff or exceeded expectations! 😊

Open and airy. Nice outdoor space. Friendly, responsive staff. Comfy beds Hair in shower. Two tissues left in box in the bathroom. Coffee at breakfast was super weak.

Beautiful facilities. Great staff. The location is fantastic. Room was nice, clean. As much as I hate the idea of sitting on cushions, some outdoor cushions for the unique assortment of discomforts that make up the outdoor seating in the courtyard would be greatly appreciated.

The room was very nice and clean, staff was helpful and friendly and we loved the Happy Hour offerings.
- 4/5
Nice and spacious rooms. Location was pretty good, although you can hear traffic and trains at night. Gym was wel equipped and my kids loved the pool. Staff was nice overall, but a couple employees were…I would say, indifferent. Not a big deal but a simple Hello would be nice when you enter the building. Please calculate your parking fee in the total amount as this felt as an unexpected and unnecessary expense in my opinion.
- 5/5
I was surprised this hotel was a 3 star. It should be a 5! The room was clean, updated, spacious and had everything I needed. The hotel grounds were well kept. I would stay here again
- 5/5
Great location, comfortable, and great extras. Breakfasts were good, evening tea or coffee, local publications to read and comfortable space to gather with family/ friends

The cleanliness and the confort of having the town so close. The food could have been better.

The pool and hot tub area were very nice and while we didn't go into the fitness room, it looked very clean with multiple options for exercise. I drop the rating to 4 stars because there is absolutely no reason why this hotel needs to nickel and dime us for parking. We had two vehicles and had to pay $10 per vehicle for a parking lot that is certainly large enough to accommodate the guests. This isn't Portland or Seattle; it would suffice to provide a parking pass for each vehicle (or perhaps charge the fee for additional vehicles beyond 1). We also weren't able to access WiFi during our stay, but I'm unclear as to whether or not that was an Element issue or a Verizon issue as there was an outage that day. As much as I loved this hotel, I will probably stay somewhere else next time that offers parking as part of the hotel stay. I could understand charging for parking if public transportation was superb in the area, but this is Bend. Cars aren't really optional.
- 5/5
Great ambience, freshly cooked breakfasts, and friendly and helpful staff.
- 3.5/5
Clean and tidy. Breakfast is not for picky eaters. Not your typical bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, or waffles. Paying $10 a night to park was not expected and a little much.
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Breakfast had a nice variety a cooled fresh option and parfait station were highlights
- 5/5
Loved the bikes!
- 5/5
Great hotel with such nice workers.
- 4/5
Pet friendly, clean rooms, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Love this place! Had a amazing experience, especially the happy hour and breakfast!
- 4/5
Nice room except paper thin walls, you can hear everything
- 4/5
Loved the room breakfast the second morning was just a little strange. Breakfast was good but the service was strange.. Like the breakfast cook didn't want to serve us. Idk
- 3/5
The not good; every night of our stay we had to call the front desk at midnight or later to get them to ask people staying at the hotel to be quiet. Loud music, shouting, yelling and noise. The hotel should state boldly that they have quiet times from 10pm to 6 or 7am. all the time. It was disturbing to spend the money, hoping for a relaxing weekend and have very little sleep for three nights. We come to Bend often and this hotel was sadly an exception for a pleasant stay.
- 5/5
Great staff, great amenities, loved the full sized kitchen in the room! Only recommendation is to start breakfast earlier on Saturday and Sundays for those that have to leave before 7.
- 4/5
great breakfast
- 5/5
Nice new clean
- 4/5
Clean rooms and clean pool, but noise was bad up above our room. Not much sound proofing between the floors.
- 5/5
Great amenities, breakfast was great, complimentary happy hour and tea service! Wonderful facilities.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly, and the room was fabulous.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, spacious and comfortable rooms.
- 5/5
This is the fourth time we’ve stayed here. We won’t stay anywhere else in Bend. The rooms are clean and spacious, the pool and hot tub are great, the breakfast is the best breakfast I’ve had at a hotel by far. The evening reception on the week days is great and I loved the tea service. The only thing that could improve is the gym. Maybe throw a single peloton bike on there and it would be great! Super walkable location. We love this place!
- 5/5
Pool and spa were fabulous!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful anniversary and would stay again
- 5/5
Great stay. Nice breakfast. Staff is very responsive.
- 5/5
Just a great, quality place all around. Evening hors d'oeuvres, beverage; morning cooked breakfast and cold breakfast facilities. Great location.
- 4/5
All of the above, good price and dog friendly
- 5/5
This place is great. Has a good breakfast. My only knock is the pillows are not great. I always bring my own here. Otherwise awesome.
- 5/5
Lovely hotel. Everything feels new and clean. Great location. Love being able to use my phone as a room key. Always appreciate the Heavenly Bed.
- 5/5
Super comfortable beds. Element Bend is a modern hotel that I found to be extremely clean. I liked that it is close enough to downtown without being in the thickness of it. Would stay again next time I'm in Bend.
- 5/5
Great property!! Will definitely stay again!
- 5/5
I liked my room. The bed was comfortable and I liked the modern feel of the room. The window blind was a little tattered, and there were wall scuffs and areas where paint had been chipped, taking away from the modern feel and decor. The staff was good, particularly the woman working the breakfast area! A couple of the younger front desk people could use training in professionalism. I loved being close to town and a short drive from the Old Mill and Box Factory. I made a couple of trips out to NW Crossing and that wasn't far either. Interesting, healthy fresh cooked breakfast options; not processed food sitting in heating containers. A step up from other hotels in this class. Great stay overall!
- 5/5
The room is modern, clean, and comfortable. We were traveling with dogs and we felt very welcome. Reception was very friendly and even remembered our dogs names on our return trip.
- 5/5
Clean, convenient , friendly staff.
- 5/5
We loved our stay here! The room was spacious and very clean. The property was clean, breakfast was delicious and the bikes available were a nice added option. My daughter loved riding around town!
- 5/5
Great hotel. Happy hour beverages and snacks. Amazing breakfast. Clean rooms.
- 5/5
Wonderful hotel, one of the best I’ve seen! I would stay again in a heartbeat!
- 3/5
Breakfast was average, coffee not drinkable! Quality of food was poor.
- 4/5
Downtown.
- 4/5
Breakfast cook wasnt very friendly. Aside from that, great stay.
- 5/5
New, modern, beautiful, very clean hotel in an excellent place right by the river. Good breakfast. Very nice service. Good pool.
- 5/5
This place is so great! Fresh, modern, clean, free happy hour. You won’t find a crusty waffle maker here, but you will find a chef who cooks your breakfast to order. The day we stayed she was making sweet potato, sausage, kale and over easy egg breakfast and it was delicious!
- 5/5
EV charging
- 4/5
Expedia shows some rooms can fit 6 people. Well, that is not accurate. The couch does not extend. Otherwise, it was a nice stay.
- 4/5
Very clean. Nice courtyard. Beds are too soft and only have one chair and a sofa chair in the room, hardly enough seats for four people
- 5/5
Great place
- 5/5
Breakfasts were wonderful
- 5/5
We enjoyed staying there for a quick trip to Bend.
- 5/5
Great extended stay with clean rooms and fabulous beds. Park across street on the river with easy walk to downtown shops
- 4/5
Breakfast food option it’s not very good. Internet Wi-Fi very bad.
- 5/5
Staff were wonderful and went beyond expectations. Went way out of their way to help.
- 5/5
Nice place big pool
- 3/5
I’ve stayed at other element hotels, which is why I booked at this hotel. I was very disappointed. The rooms were not as nice or as clean as other element hotels I’ve stayed in. The breakfast was not as good as other element hotels I’ve stayed in. Furthermore when I asked for the room to be cleaned, all they did was swap out the towels. They did no other cleaning or refreshing of the room. I definitely will not stay there again.

- 5/5
We were there for one night and we were sad to leave so soon. Very comfortable room, the equipped kitchen was super convenient.
- 3/5
For the price we paid it was a very disappointing stay. I think we must have hit an unusually high weekend but even if we had paid a modest amount like $300/nt I would have expected clean elevators and common areas. The hotel was notified we had 3 guests staying in our suite but did not have enough pillows or towels.
- 5/5
Well managed, clean and well organized. Amenities were solid. Has exactly what we needed when traveling. Conveniently located.
- 4/5
Nice little room for a stay
- 5/5
Great special events like tea and happy hour. Nice breakfast, clean hotel rooms.
- 5/5
Great experience a close walk to town
- 4/5
My stay was excellent. Janelle who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed talking with her. The only issue was a dirty wash cloth that was left in the shower.
- 4/5
So we were sooooo excited to come here and visit bend so much so that it was our longest stay the whole trip , but upon arriving we were told they had oversold and that they were sending us to a diferent "comparable" place and offered one night on the house , I picked this hotel because of the proximity to the river and the replacement hotel was not in a nice area not to mention the replacement hotel looked like a motel 6 , now the overselling happened because a huge group of goverment workers needed a place until the 30th and for like a group of at least 15 so clearly the oversell meant they were making them more money , I was so upset that when I saw the place they had sent us that I called the manager of the hotel to rectify this horrid and unfair situation she very patiently and graciously tried to make it better , and she ended up finding us a room in the hotel , upon che king in she went above and beyond to repair the hassle and make things right , she offered some complimentary treats and waived a few fees , the hotel was gorgeous in every aspect from the location to the service , super clean and a great breakfast , everyday they did this complimentary appetizers and beer or wine at the lobby which was very enjoyable. I will definitely come back and recomend this place , however please dont overbook , as most of your patrons come from far weary and tired and last thing they want is to deal with all of this.
- 5/5
Conveniently located, walkable to downtown through the riverside park. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our one-night stay.
- 5/5
Lovely modern furnishings, great complementary small buffet breakfast in the morning. Across the street from a walkable park, great for doggos! Great value.
- 5/5
Enjoyed being across from the river and a great park!
- 5/5
The staff was incredibly helpful and offered assistance in every way. Breakfast was great & there was a lovely park across the street. Room was equipped with a full kitchen & the shower was incredible.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing!!
- 5/5
Loved it!
- 5/5
It was absolutely perfect! Nicest hotel ever!
- 5/5
All well.
- 1/5
Defiantly would not recommend Hailey and Iva are two front desk people who just simply don’t care about anything but paychecks overall room was decent
- 3/5
We recently stayed at Element Bend during our first visit to Bend. Upon arriving there was a long line to check-in. We finally checked into our room only to be put into a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet. So we had to go back downstairs, wait in line & wait for a different room. The room itself was spacious but I wouldn’t say it was the cleanest. Also, we were placed on top of the pool & heard loud kids & other loud noises coming from the pool until 10pm. We also had loud guests in the room above us who kept us up past midnight. This wasn’t ideal since we have toddlers who couldn’t sleep. Unfortunately, I would not recommend a stay at Element Bend.
- 4/5
Hotel is itself is fantastic. Modern, clean and nice amenities. It would be a 5 star review all day long, if the Marriott's (which own Element) in Bend wasn't trying to nickel and dime their customers into paying $10 for parking. Newsflash...you are the only hotel chain in Bend charging for parking and we have stayed at most of them. If you are trying to make more money, charge more for the rate, instead of sneaking in another $10 on top of the rate. Almost everyone drives to a hotel in Bend.
- 5/5
Great room and fantastic breakfast
- 5/5
Nice place quiet area
- 5/5
Breakfast options were amazing.
- 5/5
Great location, clean, well maintained facility. Fitness center was good, pool area was good. Room was very nice. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Great rooms with all the amenities. Easy 5 minute walk downtown.
- 5/5
Awesome property
- 5/5
Lovely design of the hotel. Terrific amenities and taff, including Paige at the front desk. Thanks for a lovely stay! My only complaint about the hotel is that I just wishedthe window opened.
- 5/5
I was camping and hiking for three days before arriving at the Element. The shower was like a gift from heaven and so were the beds. Thank you
- 5/5
There is construction but the area is across from the river and it is a nice place to stay!
- 5/5
We had the best stay. Super friendly staff, great breakfast, and super clean.
- 5/5
Stay here a lot and enjoy it
- 4/5
Everything from our room to the amenities was great. Breakfast both mornings was delicious!
- 5/5
Great stay. Staff very helpful. Close to downtown. Free breakfast was nice
- 5/5
Great locatio
- 5/5
This is a new Marriott property, modern and clean. I appreciated the little kitchenette area in the room with basic dishes, sink, mini fridge, and microwave. The evening reception was a plus, and there is speciality tea in the lobby in the late evening. Breakfast is also lovely with some atypical hotel offerings such as scones. I'd red the reviews so I was prepared for the $10 per night parking charge. Also, just beyond the hotel, there is currently road construction going on. It was not bothersome, but the road is closed to through traffic. I would definitely stay at Element again. Recommended.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, rooms were impeccable!
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, period!!
- 5/5
Staff and room were outstanding! The only issue was the limited access to downtown, due to the construction...The Element "rocks", I would highly recommend!!! Thanks, and have an epic day.
- 5/5
Very much enjoyed our stay for a week here. Room was clean and very modern with everything we needed like a couch, equipped kitchen and breakfast nook. Would definitely come again.
- 5/5
Great room and lobby
- 5/5
I’d stay again happily
- 4/5
Did NOT like $10 parking fee.
- 4/5
Great property with lots of amenities. This was our 4th stay and unfortunately the grout in the floor of our unit needed to be redone. Also, this time a new fee of $10. per day for parking seemed excessive. On previous visits the breakfast options were great but this time at 7:00 am cold items were almost depleted and not replenished.🙁
- 5/5
Clean. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Clean. Good breakfast.
- 5/5
Excellent service, The breakfast was five stars, everything was really clean, we will definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Great breakfast!!!!
- 5/5
Room was spacious and clean with plenty amentities for our over night trip.
- 5/5
We had an excellent stay. Location is great. Check in was quick/smooth, employees were very friendly. Room was very clean, beds were comfortable. We did not experience loud heater noises like previous reviews stated. Pool/hot tub was nice after a long drive. Will definitely be staying here again!
- 5/5
Clean quiet rooms. Decent breakfast. Very Dog friendly. Great location
- 4/5
Upon arriving with a baby, the hotel front desk moved our room to the upper floor so we wouldn’t be bothered by some "rowdy" guests which I thought was very considerate. However a certain employee told us rather curtly when heading into the pool that we only had 40 mins and the came in again ten minutes later while we were playing with our kids. There is a clock and we had an infant, we were well aware of the time constraints and it was a little rude. Also we had a dispute with our bill which at this moment has not been resolved because the employee who checked us out was apparently unable to comprehend what I was saying, argued with me even after seeing the hotel receipt and complained about all the people checking out that day as an excuse to try and blow me off. Well, it was MLK day, so management probably should have prepared with additional/and or more competent staff to work the front desk.
- 5/5
Great rest here. Close to downtown
- 5/5
This place is special. Clean, modern rooms with kitchens, within walking distance of lots of restaurants, just off a park and river trail. Free happy hour beer/wine. A special, outstanding breakfast, and the room rate was very fair. An excellent surprise.
- 5/5
The hotel was super clean, very nice and had a great shower. There was a wonderful continental breakfast with crepes and a yogurt bar and bagels etc. Also the staff was super friendly and there was a large and nice pool and jacuzzi.
- 5/5
Overall, my stay was great, and I generally enjoy Westin Element properties. However, one drawback was that the entire property is pet-friendly. Unfortunately, my room, especially the bedding, had a noticeable smell of dog hair, which was a significant downside for me. It would be wonderful if the hotel reserved a portion of rooms as pet-free to accommodate guests who are allergic to pet hair. This would make the property more inclusive for everyone.
- 5/5
Easy on all fronts.
- 5/5
Large clean rooms. Very clean looking property. Looks new and well kept.
- 5/5
Delicious breakfast
- 5/5
The hotel is clean and quiet. It’s nice to have hot tub in cold winter time. The location is close to shopping and dining. Breakfast is better then other hotels.
- 4/5
Not a lot of dairy free options for breakfast besides the dry breakfast and occasional sausage. Some days they have some things out and some days they decide to not bring them out — ex: no bagels the first day and last day we were there. The hot tub is small and can max fit 6-8 people comfortably. Staff and front desk are friendly and nice. We opted in for house cleaning every other day but never received it until we requested it, and even then, they only did the kitchen. The parking lot is huge and convenient using side doors when carrying large equipment. Staff seems new, but overall it appears well managed.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly. The pool, hot tub and workout room was clean and nice. They had free beer, wine and mocktails at 5-630 which was such a nice bonus!!
- 4/5
They had a complimentary happy hour which was nice after a long day of driving
- 5/5
A very neat and clean property. Service was excellent. Great amenities !
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel! Amazing room with kitchenetts for such reasonable price! Great breakfast. Outstanding customer service! Located by a beautiful park, with awesome running paths. Small things that make you feel welcome: relaxing teas by the elevator in the evening, flavourful fruit infused water on every floor. Just fantastic place to stay in.
- 5/5
Great value, our second stay!
- 4/5
The hotel was good. They need to work on their breakfast set up, as things ran out and yet there was no one to refill until someone asked. Also, they had an egg and pancake station ran by an employee, but no sign that said what it was or what they offered. If they work on that aspect, it would be a 5 star!
- 4/5
Stay was very nice but there was a $10 per night parking fee which is ridiculous for an unsecured hotel parking lot in Bend Oregon. Pet fee of $55 was a bit over the top too. Other than that the room was very nice, and the bed very comfortable.
- 5/5
Beds were very comfortable. Rooms were very spacious and I loved having a full size fridge and cooking necessities in the room. Breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel. Crepes with strawberries, a yogurt bar, pastries, fruit, coffee, milk alternatives, bagels, etc. close proximity to downtown also.
- 5/5
Great, large pool area and hot tub. Crepes for breakfast were yummy!
- 5/5
Excellent customer service very happy with this stay!
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very good. Helped with all my questions. Enjoyed the happy hour on Tuesday. Very unexpected.
- 5/5
The smell they pump in the vents and elevators is so divine. Nice lobby and tons of seating for breakfast. The bed was extremely comfy with soft sheets.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and very responsive. Especially the front desk manager!
- 5/5
This was an easy walk to the ballroom for our concert!
- 5/5
Good spot
- 5/5
We have stayed at a number of hotels in Bend, this one has been our favorite so far. Rooms are set up more like an efficiency apartment with desk, relaxation areas, and kitchen. Very modern/Scandinavian design that is a really relaxing vibe. We liked the breakfast a lot and also that there was a social hour with wine/beer and cheese to relax in the main lobby area. All the staff were really friendly and kind. We had our little dog and they were so sweet to her. We plan to stay here again next time in Bend.
- 4/5
Good property.
- 5/5
Super clean and comfortable large rooms. Dog friendly, good location, free breakfast in the morning, pool and fire pits. Would definitely stay here again
- 5/5
The rooms are very unique and homey feeling! Great shampoo options, bathrooms are awesome and beds are comfy!
- 4/5
I has specified an accessible room as I was traveling with a friend who needed grab bars in the shower. The first room offered did not meet this requirement, so we were given a different room. It was down 2 long corridors, but I was told there were no rooms closer to the elevators. There was no maid service during our stay.
- 5/5
Excellent location and very good value. Pet friendly to the extreme! Nice courtyard w firepit. Got upgraded, nice room w kitchen, huge TV. Nice to be able to access Netflix, etc. very nice staff. Excellent breakfast incl. 5 stars!!
- 5/5
I will stay here again on future trips.
- 5/5
Amazing stay!!
- 3/5
A big problem i had is that they charge you to park there. And you don't know this until you arrive. It's not a crazy amount, but seems like a bit of gouging to be honest. The second problem is that you can hear everything in your room. From the people above you, which is somewhat expected, to people sneezing next door.
- 5/5
Great, place. I will stay again
