Great location to walk a block to town and walk everywhere. The owners/hosts were so friendly, quiet location, relaxing to sit on the porch in red rockers watching the world go by. Delicious breakfast. Hated to leave.

Overall facility is pleasant. The owners are wonderful and convivial and very willing to accommodate our needs I originally picked the room of our reservation because my wife usually takes tub baths - not showers - and the pics and description said Tub. While the bathroom was recently updated, they removed the tub and had a nice new walk-in shower. I didn't realize it until later in the evening, when it was too late to try to change rooms. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to know about the change in amenities.

This B&B was close to downtown, clean and staff was great. Included breakfast was delicious. Would stay again.

Katie was so kind to have fresh cookies for us after our long flight upon arrival. A note for guests - the linen and towel scent was fairly strong and industrial. The bath products have a fresh clean scent. I wish the laundry shared it or just were unscented. Excellent location. Take a stroll down a long block and be in the middle of everything. We had dinner at Trillium, at the Inn. Oh, so good! We enjoyed our steak and fried chicken - don't forget sides such as the corn ribs (a unique seasoning - not texmex, which was a nice change) and the bread service with the honey sesame rolls. It was such a relaxing, easy, delicious option.

House has a lot of charm and is clean. Coffee always available. Staff was very courteous and supportive. Provided flowers but cost was a little excessive considering what was given...but regardless they were nice for the occasion. Breakfast was good. Room was small with only one chair for sitting. Very cold room for breakfast. No way to really control heatthe room.

Room very chilly....window next to armchair very crafty. Had to ask for a space heater which took the chill off. Dont think the room price reflected any degree of comfortability

My room was very cold during my entire stay. My second night I was given a space heater which helped some. Additionally, my room was not cleaned during my stay despite leaving the tag on the door requesting it. The food is okay but lacks a lot of flavor. The room was very cute but could do with some remodeling.

Some logistical issues were surprising. Nobody knew the password to the Wifi, and the manager did not respond to an inquiry by text. There was no hot water available for tea despite making the manager aware. Breakfast started delayed due to staff not being available. However, the unusual situation was not communicated to guests. Probably a fluke, but the lack of communication and courtesy were surprising.

The inn was very nice, very picturesque, and located a short walk from downtown Black Mountain. Like any older home, the hot water took a while to get hot, and the AC seemed to struggle a bit. Nothing too serious - we very much enjoyed our stay!!

Walk to town or to Tomahawk Lake Town is a popular shopping destination 20 minutes to Biltmore and the Blue Ridge museum and parkway. Also check out the town museum and the huge antique store just off the highway.

A lovely and old-fashioned inn run by people who care. Only the breakfast was a disappointment--and I gather that may have been due to some unusual pressures. Still. When the crepes come out without cheese, and then come back with (un-melted) cheese and pretty much cold...after you've waited 45 minutes...

I thoroughly enjoyed my short stay. It was comfortable and peaceful. I stopped in on the way home for a quick quiet night, because I’ve seen this place many times and always wanted to stay. It was perfection! The staff was so helpful and accommodating because I was running late getting in. My bed was so comfy and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. I even struck up a friendship with a group of other guests. I really can’t say enough good things and I am absolutely coming back in the fall for a longer stay with my husband.
