room was clean and comfortable Room had no USB ports. Not even on the lamp. Strange in this day and age and especially in the US. And no phone chargers were available in the lobby shop.

Was well taken care of not too noisy. Only thing I will complain about was there being an off putting smell in our room but it was fine after being in there for a minute. Would stay again not too far from downtown chicago either for a far cheaper price than most places!

Our rooms did not have either a clock or microwave. For someone like my mom (who does not use any tech devices whatsoever) a clock in particular would have been nice. However, the sofa and footstool were very comfortable.

Staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Needed a microwave. Maybe bigger garbage cans?

But.. brought extra pillows st 10:30 pm when I requested!

The staff wasn’t very friendly. The room next to us kept us up until 3am with a screaming child and adults yelling at each other all night.

Be advised that website is very misleading. There is a 12.90 per day parking fee and the breakfast is not free.

We booked a hotel in Bensonville for a sports tournament only to find out the website I had used canceled my reservation prior to my arrival without notifying me. The hotel said the website tried to contact me but I had not been notified. So I was frantically looking for a place as I was 2.5 hours from my house! The Courtyard by Marriott had rooms and I was able to book easily! Check it was smooth and the room was comfortable and clean although we only just slept for the night and checked out the next morning. But this place went above and beyond! It was a little further of a drive but the staff in the am directed us to Panera which was literally 2 blocks and on the way so we were able to grab breakfast and go! Thank you!! We will book again!

Only one elevator booked a room with 2 queen size beds but the beds were 2 full size beds

There was an indoor pool in the advertisement, which is why we picked this hotel. When asked "oh we haven't updated our website" very disappointed 3 yr old after we've told her for the 6 hr drive there would be a pool

Your hotel room is actually 12.00 higher because of a parking fee. This includes handicap. There were plenty of parking spots. I’m tired of these extra fees since there are not very many amenities.

our room windows didnt seal. below zero weather. cold air coming into room. asked for another room, booked up. asked to fix windows. no go. asked for a late checkout sunday. they said yes, can do. never said what time wi could stay until. then they charged us for another day. terrible. never said they would do that. we couldnt afford that. will never stay there again.

Hotel and staff were amazing. Hotel was clean and beautiful, only reason for putting 4 star and not 5 was due to the fire pit outside not functioning which was a bummer but they are working to fix the issue staff stated. If I ever need to stay somewhere within driving distance to Chicago again I would gladly pick this hotel

The only negative was the shower. Lots of long dark hair and a used bandaid.

Room was very small and furniture was placed so that luggage cart couldn’t be brought into room to unload. Carpet by bed was stained and dresser had cigarette burns on the top of it. No microwave in room and no free coffee in lobby. We were awakened around 11pm by a rowdy group of people in the hallway and room next to us who were extremely loud and kept it up till after 2 am. Two large groups were staying there for the weekend so we decided to cut our trip short and go home a day early. Not the experience we expected at a Courtyard by Marriott. Will definitely not be booking at another one.

The front desk person (young male) was wearing a wrinkled white t-shirt that looked like an undershirt.

All staff members were very friendly. Only negatives were no pool and the only place to eat from was Starbucks which was very pricey. Also, no pool.

It's a high price, no microwave and clock in the rooms,charge a $12 per night parking fee without notification, no breakfast included was in the website included , Ice maker out off service for whole week we stayed, no popcorn maker in the lobby, no water fountain in the facility.

Just don’t understand charging to park on site. This is a suburb in an area that has no nightlife. I can understand if it was in Chicago but a suburb? Very old building and old decor.

It was fine for the 4 hours I was there. I had issues with trying to call. I called about 10 times and no one would answer the phone. I was trying to ask about the shuttle from the airport but ended up just having to get a taxi.

A/C unit is old and noisy. It took time to cool the room.

Checked in and the first room had a fire alarm chime every 30 seconds. Front desk said they'd call maintenance...I called back 30 mins later..."no maintenance today" were they just hoping I'd get used to it? Were they going to call me back and say it? They gave me a second room...bugs all over the place. Third room was ok. Def the worst courtyard I've stayed in.

The room was perfect When I booked it appeared that the breakfast was included, but unfortunately it was NOT. There should be a better way to state that breakfast is or not included. We were disappointed with that part of it.

The water in the room smelt like strong chlorine, and there wasn’t a pool

Rooms and beds were clean and comfortable. The bistro at breakfast was misleading on breakfast that was included and I paid a really high price for oatmeal. Overall I would stay again just eat breakfast elsewhere.

The property was very nice. I was aware of the $12 parking fee before I booked, but I feel like it is a ridiculous charge that most other hotels do not do.

The room was nice but we did find hair in the bathroom and shower there was also paper under the chair in the corner.

Very nice front desk staff. Room was ok. Bathroom area not so much- peeling wallpaper, runny faucet, and rusted tub. Gym is nice but zero towels, zero water in the water station and all the disinfectant wipes were dried out so no way to wipe down equipment.

The $12.00 parking fee that was hidden until I learned about it at the Front Desk.

Checked in at 300p went to dinner then to a friends for a New Years Eve Party. Retired at 100am to find us and several others locked out of our rooms due to system being down. No one at counter to deal with customers. Being told today that hotel did not update system. Never got into room. Had to drive home and have someone pick up our belongings the next day. Ridiculous

The pillows and bed were extremely comfortable although the bed was awfully high. Nice and quiet and the black out curtains were a big plus. A Starbucks in the lobby/breakfast area was nice. Overall a very nice property.

This is a very west suburb of chicago and they wanted us to pay $ 12.00 per night for parking. Unacceptable. Will not stay there again. Next time park 2 blocks away in shopping area. Over nite. Parking available all over 1-3 blocks away

The cleaning service is terrible. They only provided 2 towels for 4 people. Cleaning is every 3 days and they don't change the sheets. They don't clean the bathroom or the sink and they charge extra on the card. Bad experience with my family. I would not recommend this hotel chain. Terrible service from the staff.

I usually stay at this property, but this time I went, it was very noisy. The people next to me were loud I could not sleep and there was a child over my head, bouncing a ball and I could not sleep or change my room because the hotel was at capacity on Saturday night also, I thought I would get a senior discount on my room and I did not

The front dest didnt have proper communication when i arrived they told me the room i had isnt available because of water leaking they had to switch my rooms which took a lot longer than i would have liked, a phone call to me before i got there would have been appreciated

I have stayed multiple times. Always friendly and accommodating. I dislike the parking fee. No one can explain why my room rate doesn’t include a random parking spot in the parking lot pf the hotel. Not right!

There were long black hairs on our bathroom floor which were not ours. The room was dusty and the carpet needed cleaning as it was sticky. The curtains were dis-colored yellow with age. The balcony had moss growing on it and the slider tracks were full of muck. Our room was not cleaned after the first night so we requested cleaning on the second day. It was not cleaned on this day either. On the third day we complained again and the room was finally “cleaned” but there were still black hairs in the bathroom. Overall this is the worst Courtyard we have ever stayed at and we will not be using this brand again.

Room was half clean when I entered it, went down the next morning and asked for the bathroom to be cleaned. No one came up my entire stay to clean the bathroom. Also asked for my room to be cleaned that Saturday no one ever showed up my entire stay there had to buy cleaning products and clean the room myself. Then check out, they build my incidentals incorrectly so here I am a week later still waiting for my incidental fee to be returned to me and it’s still being held and it’s not my bank only for me to have to speak to a very rude front desk person named Dulce and get hung up on Then she decided to not answer the phone anymore. Had to call back five times just to get an answer and still don’t have my money.

We asked for clean towels and more coffee on day 2 of a 3 day stay. We were assured we would get those brought to the room that night and a "refresh" the next day. We received neither. We had to bring our overflowing trash to an over flowing trash bag left near the ice machine. We had no "service" during the entire stay.

The website adverises breakfast and pool, but there are no pool! There is a charge for breakfast and parking. Ive seen better hotels owned by Marriot, but this hotel was definitely most disappointing.

We were very happy with our stay except for having to pay for parking. How can you charge a guest that pays for a room?

We changed 3 different rooms because of multiple issues. The hotel staff need to check rooms before giving them to customers. In the first room, there was a cat inside the room, then the second room had serious termites infestation, by the time we got into the 3rd room, we were just fed up.

The guy that checked us in at the front desk was weird and gave weird vibes I would not stay at this hotel again. I would give this hotel a one star. If I could give it a zero star I would

This place was nice. The lady at front was great. They only thing was when we came back around 10 someone on the 4 th floor and been smoking stinky weed. It was so strong we had to run a fan all night in order to breath. Other than than it was good.

Had bad experience

Although this property was nice and the staff was nice, the room was really small. Not only that, you have to pay extra for parking. There should NEVER be a charge for extra parking anywhere. Very disappointed.

Our Grandson is in the NICU and we love almost 2 hrs away. We’ve stayed here twice so far and continue to come back every wknd to stay and get time with our grandson since he won’t be able to come home til May. Super clean, friendly and affordable!

My kids and I stayed for a night while visiting family in the area. The service was nice and helpful. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. My kids enjoyed their stay and we plan on coming back in the near future.
