Very average hotel for the money

Room initially was not as purchased but staff quickly changed to room as purchased and depicted (king suite with jacuzzi tub and walk in shower, raised toilet). Did not use tub. No bath benches available unless permanently installed in regular tubs. Walk in shower did have grab bars all around. TV only visible from bed! Quiet, clean, good bed.

Staff was friendly. But the property needs a face lift all around. It's very dated. AC was super noisy and smelled moldy. Floors were very dirty. Fixtures in the room had rust on them. Curtains looked like they were eaten by some sort of bugs. Bathroom Mirror was probably the most updated part of the room.

Our stay was terrible. Had to move to another hotel. The hall way smelled like mold, and like Marijuana. The air conditioner made noises all day. The elevator did not work all the time. We were staying with a 5 month old baby, did not feel it was healthy to stay there with our children

Breakfast was a joke. Sausage was not done, eggs were water, and juice was water downed. Wow the rooms were scary. I almost walked in without paying yet just to see what I imagined when I pulled up. We have these types of hotels in Cincinnati; they are called drug spots. The elevator was on the verge of breaking down, the bathrooms were dirty, and the beds were all springs. I have never experienced a hotel this bad for a while. And to pay 200 plus was outrageous. The hotel should be ashamed of themselves.

The pictures did not hold up to physically being on the premises - needs a lot up up keep from the outside grounds to the lobby, the hallways, to the rooms...

The only suggestion I have (which is the reason I didn't rate it 5stars across the board - was that there were no grab bars anywhere in the vicinity of the hot tub - which was a rather large area. This was (in my opinion) a safety issue - since I struggled as I looked for something to "hold onto" as I got out of the tub - and didn't feel it was a safe environment as I'd done so. Grab bars would've been an IMMENSE help!

The room was a nice size and it was quiet. The breakfast was good, the only complaint is the dhower was cold so don’t take a shower after 5 PM.

Was not happy booked at the Best Western in Cortez Rd Bradenton FL and they made us go 30 minutes away the 75th location. Made it very inconvenient because we wanted to be closer to family.

Tucked away but worth the stay. This is a nice hotel to kick back and unwind after a long day

Check In was quick and easy once I got to my room all looked great until I tried to use the jet tub the jets hardly even worked and it was so loud I actually gave me a headache instead of relaxing me I called the front desk and told him and he came up to look at it and proceeded to tell me how they are all like that that how they run as I told him I’ve been in multiple rooms with these tubs and no that’s absolutely not how they are supposed to run I asked for another room he told me no there not anymore rooms he would give me a discount I after he left I looked inside the front compartment of the tub and seen that the pump was not screwed down to anything and rattling around on aplastic peice making all the noise and the front suction side fittings had gotten hit and melted to the point that they weee loose so it wouldn’t pump any pressure to the jets I haven’t seen any discounts yet to my bill

The room smelled terrible when we arrived at 1am but we were too exhausted to investigate. Turns out there was black mold in the bathroom!! Behind the door all along the right side of the trim, near the light switch. The carpet in the room was also damp in areas. We told the staff and they said they would “make a note to check”. I don’t usually write reviews but I’m really upset my two year old was breathing that in all night and it’s not safe for anyone.

Room smell like strong mildew and the ac and shower made very loud noise. We were to tired to make our kids have to move into another room since we were only staying one night. Room wasn't necessary dirty it's just needs updating and they need to address the mildew smell my kids and husband woke up very stuffy. I would definitely not recommend or return.

The staff so friendly on checkin the photos of the hotel are misleading we thought our “ whirlpool suite” had a hot tub in the room which it wasn’t it was in the bathroom and didn’t work well the hotel is very dated and needs a remodel the smell of moistness was heavy in the room almost overwhelming it definitely needs new flooring and curtains couldn’t even use the whirlpool tub as jets didn’t work and was dirty a rose petal came out when we turned it on we wanted a room where the hot tub was bedside and based on pics it appeared to be by the couch but wasn’t the case hotel staff was friendly but breakfast was promptly shut down by 930 even though checkout wasn’t til 11 there isn’t any sleeping in and getting breakfast that’s for sure the area is sketchy at best with people are shirtless drinking in the parking lot and just a run down area I honestly expected better from best western but lesson learned for sure

I used the jetted tub twice, the bed, gym and breakfast bar before checking out. This Best Western deserves the highest rating I can give. The carpet smelled freshly shampooed when I entered the lobby. My room was prepaid and the was no additional credit card hold. My room was easily accessible. The gym was open 24 hrs. It has all the necessary equipment for a good cardio and weight training. The breakfast station serves hot items, juice bar as well as cold items. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I came into town broken and left renewed.

Not a great stay. Overall the hotel had an old smell and wasn’t comfortable. Our shower drained extremely slow to the point of waiting over 30 minutes in between showers or standing in dirty water. The bed wasn’t comfortable and our “clean” towels had hair and stains. Would not stay here again!

This was the best Hotel around the area. The area was quiet and no problems checking in or out.

Put in a room, tv was broken. Moved to another room. I booked a room with a hot tub. It was broken. They wanted to move me back to first room, but it wasn't noted that TV was broken. Since if booked through Expedia- third party- they would not lower the price. Screwed again. I will never book third party, and I will never stay at this hotel again. Terrible.

I was in Bradenton because my sister was dying I did not want to change rooms. She passed away the day I left from sepsis I bathed with extreme discomfort. . I now feel the need to check my rooms before renting. I counted on BW to be there for me not so

It has been a pleasure ro stay in this Best Western Plus Hotel.with Nick & Moe's down the street you have access to such restaurants as; Pizza Hut & Quiznos, as well as sum of the best Hot Wings in all of Bradenton. And on orher side of road you have Wendy's, Burger King, KFC, Long John Silver, McDonalds, Taco Bell, and Dairy Queen.

The room was clean, the cleaning people came and gave us new towels every day and tidied up. The only negatives is that all the ice machines weren’t working when we needed ice, and every time we tried to get logged onto the internet, it refused all devices. We were told by front staff, it should be working. Never worked once for us. Coffee tasted like hot water.

Front desk lady checked me in. Hours later I have a man opening my door and asking if I am Mrs. Padilla. I am clearly a man. I went to front desk to try and clear stuff up and he is announcing room numbers for other guests right in front of me. He also stated I wasn't supposed to be in the room I am in. Again ...fix your staff.

Reserved 2 rooms with 2 queen beds per room. Upon check in i was informed hotel had reservation for 1 room only. Had to pay double my original room charge for an addional room. What a scam. Couldn't reach a human at hotels.com to correct the hotel desk. Won't be making any more reservations through this site.

On appearance the room was clean but very humid feeling and very unpleasant musty smell despite the air conditioner . Walking without shoes in the room gave us the feeling of moisture booth on carpet and bathroom floor.

I don't normally give bad reviews but this hotel is way over the top. The hotel rooms smell horrible, the carpets are super dirty, and the mattresses are old. During check in, they didn't tell me that breakfast wasn't until 9:30 am, and I went down at that time thinking it was until 10 am. There were only a few bagels and some slices of bread left for breakfast. I told my girls to grab some of what was left. A lady came out and walked between us and started taking away the trays with the bread. I asked her if she could wait 5 more minutes for my girls to grab something and she told me that wasn't possible and that I had to ask at the front desk. Definitely the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I don't recommend it to anyone, too expensive $300 a room, horrible.

Much further from Sarasota airport than indicated on the website. This was a last minute stay. Expensive for an average hotel. Front desk very accommodating and quick checkin. Ac and refrigerator noisy and why half pillows? Older property.

The hotel had homeless people hanging out around back. The breakfast was shameful. We paid high dollar for a low budget hotel. This is a 2 star hotel at its best.

The hotel had a moldy smell. The bathroom had a bunch of rusty areas.

The Girl at the Desk said she would take care of it. We got back to the room and the water level was towards the rim. We had three towels for Three nights of stay for two people; when asked for towels at the desk we received “Pool Towels” which were two foot by three foot wide Overall the room was ok, just need better service at the desk I guess.

Horrible neighborhood. Some desk staff good others incredibly rude, too obsessed with her phone and computer to listen to guests and complete very simple request for check out, very hostile, and I could go on. Room was clean but bathroom not in great shape.

The lady at the front desk was lovely and very helpful without her it would have been awful When we got back from our event it was a little chilly so we turned on the heat and the most awful smell we have ever smelled came out of that heater we had to leave our door open for a couple hours

Nice hotel if staying in the area and you don't want to be on the beach. Couple of places to eat that you could walk to. The hotel was pretty clean and safe. There were some sketchy hotels near it but this one was nice.

No frills here but priced well and very convenient location. Elevator was broken so we had to do the stairs. Not a big deal for 1 flight, or for us, but maybe for some. Free breakfast wasn’t worth the money😝. But great options within walking distance. The worst part was the overwhelming smell of marijuana. I’m sure there’s a no smoking policy but not sure if or how it is enforced. Very unpleasant. Air conditioner also blew out an unpleasant oder.

I did not receive the room I booked 30 days in advance. I was put in s double bed room with no tv which was unacceptable and refuse to given anything but what I paid for. Staff said management was awhere and did reach out to me bore I can 200 miles to stay. Not professional I deserve a free being member.

Unfortunately stayed there right after the hurricane. Pool closed. Staff was not very professional during check in. Might have been due to the last few days.

I was over the road for business and I needed a early check in and the customer service rep at hotel made it a.easy check in for me without incident... no hesitations, great room, pool was great, and a breakfast to die for. Thanks again guys for the wonderful stay.

Upon checking in there was a problem getting the room due to using a booking website, Fred at the desk called the site up himself and got the issues resolved. Room was amazing and great breakfast, would definitely stay again!

Paid for an accessible room hoping for a handheld shower. My room had hand bars to assist but no handheld shower. The staff don’t know if any of the rooms offer this. Maybe they need to go through the hotel room by room to find out if it is offered

It was horrible! The room had a dampness to it. The bedding was damp. The carpet felt sticky. The breakfast was horrible: watery eggs, half cooked sausage and rotten bananas.

The room smelled awful-we requested a room change, which we got. Second room smelled also, just not as bad. The marijuana smoke smell near pool was so bad, we had to come in - only to encounter the same marijuana smell as soon as we exited elevator. Worst of all, the toilet overflowed by 7 am on check out day - staff didn't help other than hand us a plunger. We had to use the first floor bathroom until we left-over 2 hours early. Management denied any type of credit for our miserable stay.
