    That it was comfortable and affordable The only problem I had , is where a customer dropped an egg and put it back into the food. And when I told the older gentleman. Instead of him handling the situation. He started cussing and telling me how he doesn’t care. Which is sad , cause that lets me know he doesn’t care what he feeds his customers for breakfast. But other than that, the other staff was friendly. They let me check in early.

    Room had been recently renovated (flooring, new bathroom) but walking in we were hit with a strong musty smell throughout the room. The wall AC unit clearly doesn’t pull enough moisture out of the room. Not sure what the remedy is for that but it’s not a pleasant odor. That said, comfy beds, bathroom brand new, breakfast was adequate with lots of choices (part of my egg was not heated thru all the way). It is pretty much what you would expect at this price point.

    I arrived at 11 PM to a room that was absolutely disgusting. The sheets were dirty, stained, and smelled terrible. When I complained immediately, I was told nothing could be done until morning. At 7 AM, I met with the manager to check out and request a refund for my 3-night stay, as the room was uninhabitable. Instead of apologizing, the manager became aggressive and defensive. He refused to provide a refund, even after seeing the grime and rust throughout the room. I ended up leaving and paying for a different hotel. The photos speak for themselves—this place is a health hazard. I am reporting them to the health department. Do yourself a favor and stay far away.

    The customer service was, without exaggeration, some of the worst I’ve ever encountered. What should have been a simple and reasonable request for a late checkout turned into a completely inappropriate and unprofessional interaction. The front desk manager, along with a man who identified himself as the owner, handled the situation in a way that was shocking. Instead of a polite response, we were met with hostility. He raised his voice, spoke to us in a disrespectful tone, and ultimately screamed at us over the phone. It didn’t stop there—he abruptly hung up and then proceeded to misrepresent the situation afterward, which only added to the frustration. There was no attempt to resolve the issue, no professionalism, and absolutely no respect shown to paying guests. Regardless of hotel policy, there is never an excuse for that level of behavior. If you value basic courtesy and professionalism during your stay, I would strongly reconsider booking here.

    Dead bugs in the corners of the room, dirty hand prints on the walls and doors. Rough cut holes in the walls where extension cords were ran. Had to wait 40 minutes for a staff member to show up to check us in. Staff was not present at the front desk. The phone number to call in case you needed assistance just called the phone on the front desk. Would not stay here.

    The breakfast exceeded our expectations for the reported continental breakfast. The staff was friendly. We appreciated the no smoking and no pets rule, due to allergies to both! Unfortunately, the walls to the next room were far from soundproof, as we could hear their conversations. The refrigerator was set to cold, the food we placed in it when we arrived in the evening, was frozen by morning.

    Very nice place to stay. Room was clean and everything worked fine. Very good hot breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. Property right next to large pond with ducks and sand pipers. Outdoor pool is nice but don’t think it’s heated. Used the fitness room every morning. Would stay again.

    Check in was a little unnerving but the lady was very nice and efficient. I've never had a check in experience where the main entrance was locked and I had to go to a tiny side window for security purposes. That made me rethink my decision to stay there as it implied it was an unsafe area.

    The room was clean for the most part. The bathroom floors and baseboards could be cleaned a little better. The A/C unit was completely broken, and when it was on, had a burning smell, so we ended up turning it off. The staff was nice but offered nothing in return for this inconvenience. There were a few low-class human beings letting their small children run around up and down the hallways at late hours of the night.

    Do not pay cash for the $250 deposit for smoking this run down slum. The no smoking policy is the scam they pull on people who pay cash. Using your credit card the charge can be harder to prove with fraud protection but with cash they day you smoke marijuana in the room and try to take your money. I don't even smoke weed and i was traveling with my kid. This mf accused me of smoking weed and wanted to keep my money and after a standoff hr throws the $250 back at me. Unprofessional , lying thieves at this place.

    I can make a pretty picture of the pool, but it was so filled with bugs I never put more than my feet in. I was constantly pushing the bugs away with my hands. The breakfast buffet was below average for sure. The staff was nice. And they cleaned the room. The workout facilities were fine. It’s just a crummy neighborhood and people only go there during the week who are out of state or out of city workers. The gates are closed on one end of the parking lot and locked permanently. Your GPS will take you to them and you’ll spend an extra 5 to 10 minutes doing U-turns in order to get into the place.

    The security deposit is $250 not $150 .. need to update that and be more transparent. The room served its purpose. I needed a room last minute because my original hotel cancelled my room. This was all I could get on a Saturday. I would not stay here again however the front desk staff were lovely. The room is updated however not clean. Old stains on the floor like it hasn’t been mopped .. the bathroom door was dirty. Just didn’t feel like the room was cleaned at all. Lighting is very poor. Remote was dirty and sticky. AC worked well and overall the room didn’t have any lingering odors. Served its purpose.

    The hotel is not in a great area. Yes, there's a McD, Starbucks, etc. in walking distance, but there's also homelessness. The hotel itself looked pretty good and the room was clean. However, there were rodents in the room. My wife was getting into the shower when a mouse ran across her foot. It then proceeded to sit on the nightstand by the bed and stare at her. We checked out.

    This is standard hotel stay. Breakfast could have more options. Parking for bigger vehicles is an issue because their is no turning capabilities and back gates are closed. This is an egress issues. They should consider. It locking and putting in automatic gates so people could have one more means of egress.

    We came in late and the lady working night shift was hateful. She could have been tired or having a bad day. When booking online, we were looking for a hot tub which this one had but the lady said it was permanently closed. Had we known, we wouldn’t have booked with them. The website should be updated. Pretty sure there were bed bugs too bc I have bug bites around my ankles and also a few bites wrist. I will say the morning of check out, the man working was extremely nice. The 3rd shift lady could use some customer service lessons from him.

    This is a very adequate basic hotel. The breakfast is very limited and identical every day. It is not a hotel to go to for vacation but very functional. The pool was not heated and it was quite cold in Florida when I was there. The staff is nice and doing the best they can.

    Our stay was very comfortable. Don't be deceived by the pictures of the property. It is indeed an older property with no interior hallway as a major hotel. However, the room was neat and clean updated. Everything was neat and clean. The hotel breakfast was the self-serve buffet of make-your-own waffles with other items such as real eggs and sausage, cereal breads, coffee, etc. The staff was incredible nice and our stay was nice and quiet.

    I then asked if I could cancel and the front desk staff told me yes, but I couldn’t have a refund because I used Expedia and they won’t refund me as I choose to use a 3rd party website.     We booked on Hotels.com and knew there would be a 100$ deposit hold upon arrival. Went to go inside and the clerk said no one in lobby after 10 it was 1030 and unlocked, so my husband walked back outside. We went to the window which her customer service was better. We got our keys and once we got to our room our keys did not work. We expressed it and she said sorry they were supposed to fix the lock but hadn’t, she did use the key to allow us in our room and expressed we could get let in our room at anytime by asking them to come let us it. This was an inconvenience so we decided we would have one us of stay in the room if one needed to go to the store or so, again an inconvenience. After check out I checked my account which I guess I should have checked last night but they put a 250$ hold on my card when it was supposed to only be 100$. We didn’t damage anything take anything and feel this pending change is also an inconvenience to us having that amount pending as a hold when I paid 211$ on hotel.com for my room already. I will not be using this establishment again in this location.

    Stayed for hurricane Helene. Room was very clean and cute. I trusted all was clean and was very comfortable. Front desk woman was very friendly and helpful. Newly updated I believe. Nice place right near gas food and highway. Pool looked very nice. Felt safe.

    When I got there and checked in I noticed that they said coffee 24 hours which that wasn't true I went down there one night to get coffee and they said only the morning time when I arrived I noticed that I smelled something funny my sheets smelled like dirty Musk

    The rooms look led decent and seem to have been updated recently but keep your shoes on. After about 5 minutes of walking around barefoot my 2 year olds and my feet were completely black, black like the floors have not been cleaning in months or ever. It’s vinyl flooring which is made for easy cleaning but you can tell no one ever takes a mop to them. My wife ended up cleaning the whole room with Lysol and bath towels. The TV controls are weird. The pool was pretty nice. The breakfast were meh, it’s mostly premade processed food heated up. The area seems to be generally safe but at night it did get a little dicey. All food places basically close by 8 we ended up eating gas station Pizza Hut.

    The bathroom was dirty. Long hairs on the sides of the shower, and brown marks on the walls. The pool was dirty. The breakfast was the worst I ever had. The staff was not friendly. The would not offer a late check out. Would never recommend or come back again.

    I chose this hotel for its location. The photos online looked nice and I liked that it had free breakfast and an outdoor pool. My room overall was fine. It was clean and looked like it had been recently renovated. The bed was comfortable but pillows were very small. The free breakfast was average, I’ve seen better at similar hotels. The disappointing part of this stay was the staff. Most of them were unfriendly and didn’t appear like they wanted to be there and they definitely need to improve their communication skills or their system for keeping staff updated on guests. I had my Do Not Disturb sign on my door, and my door was banged on 30 min before check out time and I was still staying one more night! I opened the door and pointed to the sign….. the house keeper said I was supposed to check out, which was incorrect. Irregardless, it wasn’t even check out time and the sign was on the door! The next day, after I had been given an extra 30 min to check out, sign still on door, banging on the door happened again before my scheduled departure time. I told the housekeeper that I had been given an extra 30 min. Within 5 min my phone rang telling me I had to leave. I explained again that I was given an extra 30 min. This girl was at least friendly after I explained to her. But obviously this hotel has communication issues and several employees are rude. Other people in my work related travel group had similar experiences. Very disappointed! Service is key! I will not be returning!

    This was a very nice hotel and we really enjoyed our stay. The only disappointment was the pool was closed down. Otherwise it was very pleasant and I would definitely stay there again.

    After booking with Expedia I called hotel directly to make them aware of a 2-3am check in after a 11 hour drive and we would need ground floor because I have someone disabled with me. We also planned on sitting by the pool in our downtime from Bradenton Motorsports park. Arrived, we were on 2nd floor and there was no elevator. No parking spaces available except for back of lot. When parking I was yelled at by a man and he started walking towards my car so I moved and had to have the person working walk me to my room. The next day we came back to go to the pool and the pool had no water and was down for renovation. We sat in the room. This is not a good visit and I will never stay at this hotel chain again. I filed a complaint with the hotel chain and never received anything from them. I should have gotten a full refund.

    The service guy did not give back my Driver License and Credit Card. He had both of them and did not call me at my room to pick it up after checking in. I have to call the next day to find out they had them. I went back to pick it up 3 days later.

    This was probably one of the most enjoyable stays I've had at a hotel in a long time The staff was very friendly in my room was clean top notch everyday. It's close to everything you need to get to especially the drag strip. 😊. I'll definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.

    Friendly service, the property was nice, but everything seemed just a little bit on the "cheap" side. Very thin towels, the front door was held together with bungee cords. Just little things. It is a little too broken for the price of the nightly stay. However, I found the service of high quality, the room cleaners did a great job, and I would probably stay here again if the rate was better.

    We had a reservation for the 17-19th. Called to extend our stay to the 16th-19th and was told they were full and couldnt accomodate us. I got on hotels.com and found they had available reservations for the 16th so i booked an additional night that way. When we got to the hotel we were greeted with signs everywhere saying that if you tamper with the smoke detectors and smoke in the rooms you would be charged an extra fee for it. We then were told we would need to check out then check back in becausw of the two separate reservations which was fine. We got in to our first room and it smelled heavily like musty cigarrettes. We ignored it knowing we would only be in this room one night. The next morning we checked out of this room at 11am and were told we wouldnt be able to check back in untill 3pm, so we ventured off to the event we came to town for. We returned at 1130pm and checked in to our new room. When we entered we were hit with the exact musty cigarettes smell. Being so late and we were so tired we opted to just go to bed. We decided the next morning to just check out and find a different hotel. This hotel clearly has a problem they are aware of however they should not be selling smoke free rooms untill this issue is taken care of. Overall the beds were comfortable but the rooms had very obvious maintenance issues that shouldnt have been missed (nails coming out of the cieling, peeling caulking, and peeling baseboard, water damage). Very little attention to detail here.

    The stay was good, the staff was friendly with professionalism. The hair dryer in our room did not work, but was replaced. The hot tub also did not work. Everything else was great. We did enjoy the stay and hope to be back again soon.
