Great staff

This hotel was so clean! The beds were so comfortable. If it were not for my snoring partner, id have slept so well! Lol Also loved the Dove pump soaps they had for the shower and sink. I recommend this hotel for a pretty good price and its only about ten mins from the beach and has a lot of places near by to eat and a walmart. Thank you for making our stay a great one!

Great place to stay at a reasonable p[rice. Either it's new, or extremely well maintained. Quiet at night, and a beautiful pool and spa. The included breakfast was awesome, not just "bread and water". The feeling was all good vibes and happy guests.

Ac was broken and they were fully booked had to sleep in a HOT room with dirty fans they brought us. We did get moved the next day but did not get a full refund for that very uncomfortable night

The place smelled the mold. We could not stay more than 5 minutes as my son is asthmatic and we all developed a headache. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt the door to our hotel room. Looked like it was kicked in and didn't close all the way. I'm going to ask for a refund

The gentleman at the front desk was so wonderful. He was so compassionate and supportive of my elderly parents' needs. We felt so cared for and taken care of. Will definitely stay here again when we visit family.

This hotel is super close to IMG and other soccer families chose this location also for proximity. The staff was super friendly and breakfast was included and was perfect. We did not use the pool but it was in use and looked inviting. Our air conditioner broke while there and was replaced with a new one within 2 hours. Facilities have some wear and tear but all manageable. Only complaint was our TV's screen was blue/purple. I tried everything to adjust the color and nothing helped. I asked for it to be checked and was told they would replace it if needed but it never was replaced but the quality for so poor I couldn't enjoy watching the Olympics in the evening. I don't get to watch much tv at home much so sadly this is part of my vacation fun...even in Florida. Suppose less screen time isn't all bad. I'd stay here again if we had another IMG event.

Greeting was fabulous. Room is a little dated and could use a good cleaning. Bath filter was so dirty the fan didn’t clear the bathroom for odors.

TV didn't work in our room. The plugs beside out bed only worked if you put in your phone plugs just right. The shower held water. It was a very loud hotel! People slamming doors and screaming in hallways at 1 and 2am.

Upon entering the room we encountered 2.5 inch cakroach and few min later it was 1.5 inch cave cricket, left immediately and got full refund for which we got AirB&B for less with all amenities and beach chairs and beach tuys for our 10 and 14 year olds

What a terrible representation of hospitality! I've never stayed at a more dirty Holiday Inn property. I didnt expect this based on previous reviews. We checked into 248 and were astonished to find that the rear left of the toilet was 35% covered on dried urine and pubic hair! Tetting common with our recent hotel stays. We notified the front desk and the gentleman was very sorry and immediately moved us. We went to room 244. He called to mske sure everything was better, which was so nice! My husband said that it was. He daid to me "all I want to do after traveling is go to bed". The towels were covered in hair. There were pubes in the shower in this room as well, so we were 2 for 2 on cleanliness. There was a questionable stain on the duvet on the bed which may explain the dirty handprint on the ceiling as well. The air conditioner was loud and having issues making it hard to sleep. I did let Miguel know that were were moved the evening prior for the other issues and that we appreciated being moved, although had more of the same in this room. Miguel was also very sincere in his apology and said he would let the housekeeping supervisor know. I am surprised this is acceptable. Additionally, the steps from floor 2 to the lobby didn't feel safe. I have small feet and had to walk sideways down the stairs because they are so short. The woman at the desk with red hair is nasty! Doesnt talk/greet. She is not hospitable and works in service. No smile. Boo!!

The day of check in the female that worked day shift had no personality. She was helping someone on the phone & I waited about 4 minutes or so before she acknowledged me. Thankfully, the female that was on duty after 5 pm was very friendly, accommodating, & got us a pool side room, pre-paid within minute. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise to have scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, & gravy, aside from the traditional starch breakfasts other hotels offer. The 24 hour coffee was fantastic. I love an evening cup of decaf. Overall, good experience for this affordable Holiday Inn Express.

The experience was simply amazing, from checking in out thru cheking out. The breakfast buffet has a lot of options, healthy, not so healthy. Super friendly staff during the whole stay. The hotel does feels like a luxury one! Every detail in the room was well thought! We got the king suite, and you have two areas, a small closet, two sinks, a very spacious shower, and loved all the soap, shampoo, etc. it was a 20/10. HUGE THANKS for making my family’s stay the best one. Also the price was a really amazing deal, two nights (bkf included) $340. $25 incidentals, Booked trhu expedia, no surprises at check in! They are located in a very convenient area. Any way, perfect.

We decided to stay here so we could be close to Anna Maria island and yet save some money in lodging. It actually is now our favorite way to vacation here. It was so nice to have a continental breakfast in the morning for the kiddos and didn’t require me to grocery shop and prepare meals while on vacation. Publix was a blessing for quick run throughs for snacks and ice and other necessities. The fridge stayed nice and cold. Bathroom was big and shower tub combo was nice. Also had a microwave and safe. Full ironing board and iron. Lots of outlets and charging stations too. Loved that. It was nice to be able to return home from a day at the beach and wind down with some hot tea at the beverage station in the lobby. I suggest the hotel stock some sleepy time tea that would have been great. And maybe honey. The kiddos loved the hot chocolate though. Over all very happy with our stay. And will be returning again for a longer stay knowing I can vacation cheaper this way.

The staff allowed me to check in early, they were all very friendly. The room was already cold and had a clean smell and the room was overall clean. The bathroom had some paint peeling but that was not an issue. The TV in our room was discolored but we werent there to watch tv anyway and it wasnt that big of a deal. The appliances were all working and great. Breakfast was wonderful with options. We had a 1 night stay and it was perfect for us (1 adult, 1 teen and a child), and it was not even 5 minutes up the road from the beach. Overall we would stay here again.

Worst stay of my life. We stayed for 4th of july weekend. Spent the night out to see fireworks, got at the hotel at 10pm and the fire alarm went off for over 30. People out in their cars because it was so loud. I have a baby who was exhausted and very scared of the situation. 30 min later the alarm turned off. We walked into our room and 5 min later the alarm went off again for a few minutes. The alarm went off multiple times after that. Again at 11pm, midnight, 1am.. Someone was also lighting up fireworks behind my room outside. I had a restless night and a terrified baby. At 5am the freaking alarm went off again and didnt shut off until 20-30 later. Then again. I just couldn’t believe it. No one knew what was going on but definitely not definitely not fire. Next night, again! The alarm went off a couple times. You’re at a hotel to sleep and rest and thats the only thing you cant do. I caller the front desk, the guy said he needed to keep running to press the buttom to turn off every time it went off. Thats it? No one found out what happened? Someone smoking in their room? I was livid and couldn’t wait to get out of that hotel. When checking out, i was told i couldnt get a refund because I booked through outside part and not the hotel directly. When contacting Hotels.com, it them 2 says to ‘contact’ the property and tell me i couldn’t get a refund or even a partial refund, but as a courtesy Id get some points ($15 bucks) for my next trip. Ridiculous!!!!!!!

Great hotel with great staff

The AC was not working in our room and we could not be moved till the last day. It was pretty unbearable. The staff did not accommodate us to get another room until our trip was pretty much over. Otherwise the location was ok. Just a bit disappointed.

The hotel had a lot of issues, i try to change the bedroom for one with shower instead tub but the front desk told that this is the only configuration available, its OK. Them a wood cover under the bed table fell down and a lot of current cables were exposed. the front desk told that they dont have a maintenance for the time but I insist about I never can sleep safety with my two daughter and these cables exposed. they fixed but scared about that fell down again. then the bathtub was clogged and the holder for the bath paper fell down. In resume my worst experience and my last time in a Holiday Inn Express. the positive thing was the breakfast.

The good: Check in went smoothly. Room was clean, but had a strange odor. I think it might have been whatever they used to clean the room with. Excellent breakfast and especially the coffee. The coffee maker grinds the coffee beans for you. The bad: We were in a room right across from the ice machine. It was very loud with people getting ice etc. at night. Tub in bathroom had rust. Pillowcase had big stain. Sink in bathroom had some kind of odor from the drain. Toilet was very slow going down. Some seating in breakfast area is worn and needs replacing.

We had a slight issue with the shower. After telling the desk twice, the third time the maintenance man happened to be standing there and offered to snake the drain immediately. It was late and we were checking out the next day but it was clear he was going to take care of it before anyone else checked in. All but one day housekeeping was great. The staff was kind. The best part was I called to say we would check in after midnight. Our jets were made and waiting and it took all off three minutes! It was so nice since we were exhausted!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. When I first checked in, I noticed the carpet in my room was wet, which was unpleasant. I informed the front desk, and they were quick to respond and moved me to another room. However, in the new room, the air conditioner was making a loud, constant noise that made it difficult to sleep. While I appreciated the staff’s prompt help, the overall comfort of the stay was affected by these issues.

Just no... You might have beautiful beaches near by...but it'll take more than that to get me to spend money on accommodations. They at least have to be decent. We left and got our money back and had to find other accommodations.

Clean and affordable nice upgrades. The door for the slider to the patio to the pool is very very strong and seriously locks out any noise from the pool area with families playing or whatever. Very nicely done. Just one recommendation we were in room 140 and that room when you turn the shower water on it’s very hard to turn and it almost makes you want to pull out the knob liking some bathrooms, but that’s not the case. It just turns hard. I can tell that somebody has tried to pull it out instead of turning it like I did. Other than that everything was perfect and I don’t know who your chef is but boy they do a good job.!!!

Was not happy that you held $25 for damages. The window screen in the room was so cracked that we didn’t open for reason it might break and you’d charge us the $25 for damages.

Comfortable and clean rooms

Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The room was a simple two queen beds, and it was clean. We did have a water stain on the ceiling. The bathroom was clean but falling apart. We can see that the toilet was not attached to the floor, the grout was old and dirty and when you sat it moved. The tub was also old, and the grout was coming undone and dirty. With the bathroom wall and ceiling, you can see yellow stains coming through the paint. The bathroom was overall deteriorated and somewhat unsafe. The complimentary breakfast was a good assortment, and the presentation and service were good.

I felt very safe staying at this hotel. No complaints at all - just wish I would have had more time to enjoy the pool and hot tub - both looked amazing!

Room was clean, big shower and great breakfast. However, there was no water pressure for shower that it was impossible for us to wash ourselves properly which was very frustrating. Also the smoking marijuana smell from next rooms was unbearable and unpleasant.

So this is an express, people come here for one night or with children. Check in check out. Breakfast is poorly, not really nutritious , more fast food driven Breakfast area small and an abundance of gusta flood the place. . Older set up, workers are not very helpful at emergency times, very many different, front desk people, nobody wants to take responsibility for even lost things. Absolutely frustrating.

Upon my arrival, I was told that I would receive a $50 refund per night for the inconvenience. However, when I checked in, I was informed that the manager was not available during the weekend and I would need to speak with her on Monday during my check out to process the refund. O. Monday, I was told that the refund was not possible and that I would only be offered a reward card instead. This felt quite dishonest, as I would have chosen a different hotel if I had known this beforehand.
