I was out on the first floor next to the lobby. I heard someone above me walking. It sounded like stomping. Then in the middle of the night, there was a disturbance in the lobby. It was yelling and screaming. I had Zero sleep. The bathroom is outdated. There were chips and cracks on the floor panels and on the wall in the shower. It was uncomfortable. I wouldn’t come back here.

Overall stay was good, loved the way the hotel was set up, housekeeping didn’t make beds which was strange to me, one day left us only one towel and 4 hand towels and we had to go ask for more towels, we enjoyed our stay.

The room was fairly clean. The staff was quite good. Professional and friendly. Laundry was not used. The hotel is under minor renovation. That is good. Not too much of a distraction.

Very beautiful building. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Plenty of nice towels. The water flow in the shower was great and the hot water came fast. Breakfast is hot foods as well as cereal, yoghurt, bagels, juice, fresh fruit and of course, coffee or tea.

The hotel was undergoing repairs and construction, but the stay was still pleasant and the room met our needs.

Bathroom door broken, hair stuck in the fabric of the mattress cover, room smelled like cigarettes. And I was not even checked out and they disabled my room key 3 hours before checkout.

The front desk staff on my check in was not there and I had to wait several minutes for him to come to the desk. He was not welcoming and acted like I inconvenienced him. No one at the front desk ever acknowledged me as I came and went which I found odd. Not even a 'good morning'. The hotel is NOISY. They are renovating it but that was the smell, not the noise. The doors bang shut, the toilet flushes can be heard in other rooms as can the shower. The elevator dings so loudly it can be heard 3 rooms away. The fan over the toilet in my room made a popping/dripping sound all night. If you need quiet when you sleep (as do I) look elsewhere. Breakfast was sufficient with plenty of choices. The hotel appeared clean everywhere I saw.

The room had just been updated. However, there were ants in the room, the door bolt did not work the closet door didn’t close, there was something yucky on the base of the bed near the headboard that looked like dried vomit, what looked like rust in the bathtub and no stopper in the sink. Was not the best experience.

This hotel was under new management and supposedly under renovation but we could see no signs of this. The hair dryer didn’t work. Management did get me one in a timely manner. The body soap in the shower was empty. The bolt on the door didn’t work. Before leaving we reported these things to management. They apologized and thanked us for letting them know.

I travel for work so I'm no stranger to a hotel room. Long story short- I did not have working air conditioning in my room. What made it worse, When I asked the woman at the front for help, She said the AC just takes time. It had been 12 hours!! She was gaslighting saying how cold my room was. It was 74, I like to be cool when I sleep. She messed with the thermostat, did nothing I hadn't already tried, and told me to wait longer. She said she was wasting her time because I checked out later that afternoon. She didn't care about anything and was rude. I waited another hour and the AC still didn't work. I decided to leave and go to work early, rather than sweat in a room that was getting hotter. I also reached out to Choice Hotels and they did not respond. This room cost way too much for such terrible service and no AC. I also had ants in my bathroom which I thought was odd. Honestly, I wasn't concerned about the ants, I was too focused on sleeping in a hot room.

The room was decent, the only pillows provided and available were deadass 4 couch pillow size pillows and those 6x6 pillows were a 3/10. I did book through Expedia and it said the hotel was pet friendly but when I got there they acted brand new and said they weren’t pet friendly only service animal friendly and had me sign a waiver of responsibility which is great and very thankful for but after driving 8 hours for the holidays I was not expecting the extra trouble. Pillows sucked and beds were mid. Oh and the elevator liked to keep going a little more down even after you got to your floor. Total score 5/10

The staff was great! Everyone was very courteous and helpful. The room was very quiet. Everything would have been perfect, except for the bed. It was very hard and uncomfortable and the pillows were all very flat. We stayed for 4 nights and did not get a full night's sleep the entire time due to being uncomfortable. Other than that, it was great.

My stay was great. The hotel was clean, the room was ready early for check-in, and I loved that checkout wasn’t until 12pm. The fresh cookies at the front desk were a nice touch. Free breakfast was convenient and everything I needed was just a short drive away. Would definitely stay here again.

Check-in was quick and easy. Room was booked for four people. There was only three bath towels in the room. We all needed to shower after traveling all day. Went to the front desk to ask for an additional towel and was told they had no access to additional towels (it was around 1130 at night). After going back and forth with the gentleman at the front counter, his coworker told him to "go check the dryer", after which he retured with an additional towel. Next day after returning to the room, housekeeping had come to make up the room...they took all dirty towels and only left three clean towels, when again, the reservation was made for four people. Indoor pool was small, but great for the kids to enjoy in November. Breakfast and staff at the breakfast area were all great and attentive.

The room was filthy. The bed had what looked to be vomit or feces on the mattress cover only covered up by a sheet. When I asked the staff at the counter to bring clean sheets the lady was very helpful and brought clean linens. We decided to flip the mattress with her help. When we flipped the mattress there was a used condom stuck to the mattress. I was disgusted and we decided to leave and not stay our full stay. We are very disappointed. There was not an additional room to be moved to.

However when I was booking this hotel, the website said recently renovated, but it was just starting to be renovated. There were materials and drywall and paint all over the floors as soon as you walk in and wasn’t cleaned up the 3 days we were there. The fire alarm was set off accidentally by the renovators which woke up and forced everyone to evacuate into the cold early morning. Housekeeping made our beds, but didn’t replace dirty towels that were on the floor or clean anything else for that matter. There was a creepy hole in our ceiling, no USC charging capabilities, and the worst part was the sound of the highway right outside the window. It made it really difficult to get some rest with cars and trucks driving by all hours of the night. The shower curtains were really gross and old. didn’t keep water in, and the floors were dingy and gross looking in the bathroom. The phone didn’t work at all in the room, there was no way to call the front desk or call for help in an emergency. There were complimentary cookies, tea and coffee in the lobby which we enjoyed. Overall it was ok, but not as advertised in the photos at all.

Specifically: There was an infestation of flying black flies/gnats in the room. They were everywhere, getting into our food and beverage. One was discovered in the refrigerator. They were all over the bathroom: on the mirror, walls, shower, and toilet. I voiced my complaints. A different room was offered. The desk clerk informed me that these pests are "all over," including at the check-in counter. I have multiple red, itchy marks on my extremities. I believe the bugs bit me. A couple traveling from out-of-state said they noticed flying bugs in the breakfast area. I placed several cola, sweetened coffee, and sugar water covered containers and cups in the bed and bathroom. The cups had many, many drowned pests. The evidence was shown to the desk clerk. I spoke with another hotel guest who said the flying bugs were also in his room. Several guests who attended the church service also said they noticed numerous bugs flying around the event room. The event room was next to our room. There was a very large gathering of folks hosting a church service for 6 hours. The music was very loud with bongos and other instruments. Assigned the room right adjacent to this event. With bongos and other instruments, the music was very loud. The shower and sink had stains. The walls were filthy. Mold and leakage on the ceiling just outside our room. The lampshades dirty, dusty with hole. Microwave and replacement didn't work. Bad!

I had a Great stay!

The first room we were given smelled like mildew and the tub drain was backed up. The staff was helpful in getting us another room which was in better condition. The locks on the room doors are ancient and we kept having to walk down to the front desk to have our room keys reprogrammed so we could access our room. When we checked in at the front desk, we asked to extend our stay by one day; we were told to check back with the front desk the following day. When we did check back we were ultimately told we were set up to stay the extra day. The following morning, we received an automated text reminding us check-out was at 12. When we inquired at the front desk, we were told our stay was never extended and that it wouldn't be possible to extend as the hotel was full. All in all, our experience with this hotel was awful. They are currently renovating which also negatively impacts guest experience but perhaps things will improve after renovations are complete.

Conveniently located within 2 milea of the vineyard with a complimentary breakfast. It's a value for the room size. I had a suite. When I stayed they were doing some upgrades.

Excellent customer service and very friendly staff. Frittata breakfast was excellent. Their store offered healthy frozen food options which I loved and I was able to splurge with ice cream as well. I was disappointed that pool was indoor, but that was my fault that I didn’t read. Room was comfortable and A/c was great. While the hotel was close to freeway, there was a lot of construction making it hard to get around easily. I also had a misstep and the manager went above & beyond to help me. Thank you Elizabeth.

Freeway noise is unbearable. All of the suites are on the south, I-85 side, and there seems to be no sound insulation in the windows. I was able to get moved to the east side on the final (3rd) night, but that was no better. Staff was nice, but accused me of being a light sleeper. I would never stay here again.

I made a reservation I called to be sure and ask until what time check in was available because we were driving from Orlando Fl, hotel. Com told they couldn’t find my reservation when I have a reservation # and the receipt from my credit card plus my credit card sent me a email and text, lady got me in hold for more than 30 minutes and insisted I don’t have a reservation I asked I wanted to talk to her manager she said manager wouldn’t talk to me how can be I was charged to my CC already and I don’t have a room I hang up called again and a nice guy found my reservation. Hotel doesn’t worth $325 for 2 days, old hotel smells musty room and entrance the night lady for the check in was super nice morning guy didn’t even say GM or thank you when we did the check out. Lobby was dirty we saw a guy all the time there looks like he lives there with his 2 dogs. At least bed and bathroom was clean but musty smell. If you are picky OCD like me I don’t recommend it

With the room, there were some minor things that weren't really an issue for me, but I could see someone being upset about it. First thing is there was a shelf in the room that had some pictures on it, it was starting to come undone from the wall. And there was a spot on the ceiling that suggest water damage. The Continental breakfast was a bit lack luster, but it served it's purpose of giving me nutrition in the morning, and hotel coffee is always hotel coffee, it's never good anywhere you go. But overall, the hotel was perfect, and I definitely plan to stay here again on any future travels to the braesolton area.

The room had an odor. The bathtub had mold. The highway was nearby and loud. The ac unit was also loud. Those noises paled in comparison to the noise from the neighboring room. They came came in after midnight and talked loudly and turned on the television, which I can only assume was mounted to the wall immediately behind my head. I called the desk at 1:30 a.m. and asked if they could kindly enforce quiet hours, as no one in my family could sleep. They did speak with our neighbor, but they proceeded to keep the television on blasting loudly until well after 4:00 a.m. None of us could sleep. We tried to eat breakfast at the hotel before leaving early in the morning, and it was terrible. The eggs were wet, and I mean wet with something like water, and the sausage also had liquid that dripped off of it. I cannot comment on the taste because it was too gross to try. We stopped here to break up a very long trip, and we very much regretted our choice and would have fared better to just press on. I would not recommend anyone to stay here if they wish to have a night of sleep in a clean room.

I liked my stay

The first room that put us in the tv didn't work because of a broken cable. They put us in a suite which was "okay", but the floor was slooping in places. It felt like we were drunk trying to walk from the living room to the bathroom. The plaster on the wall was cracked in several places and actually falling off the walls. The room was directly above the indoor pool, which was temporarily closed. Maybe the humidity from the pool caused the cracked plaster and slopping floor. There was a pack of sugar on the floor in an area that looked like a putting green space and large pieces of dried mud in one of the elevators our entire stay (4 nights). Everything else seemed clean. The elevator inspection expired in April of 2023, which is a serious violation. The daily breakfast was good and everyone was nice. However, a smile from the staff would have been an improvement. No one seemed happy to be at work.

I booked the hotel online traveling back from Tennessee where it had rain and my granddaughters were a little disappointed. I booked at this hotel because of inside pool, only to find out when I checked in, it was out of service. The hotel was nice but would not have stayed there knowing the pool was not in service. That was the main reason I booked there. Granddaughters were disappointed again! Should update info online so guest will know pool was not opened.

There was an odd looking spot on the ceiling and we were unsure if it was a dead bug, a live bug, or something else. We decided to we spent the first night and when we saw the spot in the same place determined it to be an unusual mark for a ceiling and thought no more about it. The first morning there, the staff knocked on the door while we were all still sleeping. I told her that since we arrived late last night that we needed no service that morning. The next morning the knock came again but we were headed out for the day. I said five minutes and we'll be gone, but no one came back to make up the room. Maybe not as reliable as I would expect. The parking lot seemed a little small to me and all the big vehicles took up too much space. Also, when coming from the east the sign for the facility is hidden somewhat and not very large.

The suite was fine but the mattresses are rock hard. We had a very hard time and felt very achy after the little bit of sleep we did get because of the mattress.

It was a nice hotel. The only negative was the gap under the door let all the noise in and the shower screeched the whole time I was in it. Probably a little pricier the it should be.

This hotel is too close to the interstate. It backs up to I-85 and all you could hear all night was the traffic - it was terrible. No sleep at all.

Bathroom lighting is terrible-4 bright daylight light bulbs and the only mirror in our room so beware. My husband actually loosened 2 bulbs because the lights are so glaring. If you just need a place to lay your head it’s okay but we will try other hotels next time we travel through the area. I’m learning not to depend on Hotels ratings. This hotel is certainly Not Excellent in my opinion. It should be rated as Good.

Well to start when we first arrived the attendant didn’t even speak , and checking in was just rude and inattentive. The rooms smelled wet and there’s obvious water damage throughout the hotel , everything was fairly dirty , the tubs don’t drain and the shower head sprays everywhere. The hotel needs renovation and employees that are at minimum friendly

Breakfast was okay.

Booked this hotel for the pool, in order to keep my son entertained. Prior to check in, we noticed a sign stating the pool was closed. When I asked staff, they assured me it would reopen shortly after, they were just doing some maintenance. The pool remained closed the duration of our stay. Our room door would not shut without physically slamming it.

Give it 5 stars!

Always very clean and smelled clean. Front desk staff were very polite. Room was clean and smells good. Young lady cleaning room was very nice and polite. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked and good was good. Just an overall nice experience as I've had here in the past.

It was very comfortable and cozy

The mattress cover was torn in several areas and bed cover needs replaced. The person who took care of our room did a terrible job and definitely needs training. The ac controller was a little difficult to figure out. It keeps the room nice and comfortable, but noisy when comes on. The tv had excellent programing. The hotel was an excellent location to get around the area. The morning breakfast was satisfactory. The container holding the waffle mix didn't work and when they opened it the mix was all water on top and clumpy. Obviously needed replaced but didn't happen. If attention to couple areas it would be a excellent place to stay.

Unfriendly staff during check in and check out. Had to wait for 10 min for someone to appear for me to check in. Breakfast wasn’t served on time as stated.
