Brentwood Suites Nashville, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Central to the areas I wanted to visit. Ample rooms and resourceful staff made my stay that much pleasant.

I only stayed one night and everything was nice and clean.

However, there were a few things that made the stay less comfortable. The bath towels were surprisingly small, more like hand towels than standard bath towels. The biggest issue was the height of the beds. They were so high off the ground that the hotel provides a step stool to help guests get into them. Anyone around 5’6” or shorter may find this inconvenient, and I would be especially cautious if traveling with elderly guests or young children. It wasn’t just the beds either. Many things in the room seemed unusually high, making it feel like the space was designed for giants. While the hotel was clean and the staff was great, the room setup may not be practical or comfortable for everyone.

The young black women working behind the service desk mornings was the kindest person I’ve met in a while.

I didn’t care for the lightning in the room. The TV didn’t get many channels and the breakfast are just OK but it’s OK for a quick get up and go stop.

Easy in and out, safe area….seems like an older hotel that has been renovated. The staff was friendly.

It was great for our quick overnight stay. It was right off the highway and we were able to grab bagels before we left in the morning.

I need to give mediocre reviews, but since it keeps asking… The property was nice. It was super late when I got in a who checked me in was super nice however she couldn’t tell me anything. Tell me something was open for me to get something to eat even snack or water. I said I was dying of thirst. I don’t drink water while I’m on the plane because I don’t wanna have to use the restroom and then it was super late getting in we were late getting out so they did have a little market. She said there was water I could purchase and when I went over there. There was no water in the cooler and then she said oops. I guess there’s some in the back room. Well I didn’t want hot water or warm water to drink. I also tried to find out where I should park but she couldn’t tell me where the room was. There was no map or anything. She said she thought it was that way then she said no I think it’s the other way, but that I could come in through the front, it was super late probably 11:30 PM anyway she was nice enough just not very helpful. The breakfast was OK, but I only took a couple sausages and then ran out in the morning.

The room was clean and the bed was just okay, not very comfortable but good enough. The breakfast was nice, but over a 5 day period it didn't change much from day to day. And they don't use real eggs, it was the egg powder mixed with water. But there was a decent amount of other items. The fitness center was small and had just a few options, but better than nothing. Oh, and Stephen, the chef at the restaurant downstairs, is a good dude. He works hard and does a good job. Overall, we would likely stay here again.

My room was clean but very humid. We ran the AC on dry mode for most of our stay. It barely made a difference. I asked the front desk for a portable dehumidifier. They didn't have one available and nothing else was done to fix the issue.

Reception was fine and checkin was easy. Only one elevator for four story property was inconvenient. Bathroom was clean and neat except there was no body wash. Just small bars of soap. Carpet and other items clean and neat. AC system sufficient. Bed’s comfortable. Breakfast was good and well prepared. Staff very accommodating. I would consider staying there in the future.

A very clean and modern hotel and the first hotel we've stayed in that had outdoor seating, a bar and restaurant (limited menu) and the food was good. Great choice of breakfast. Room was furnished with excellent taste and quality We were on the 3rd floor and the wifi was poor and the TV didn't work. The bed was very high but comfortable.

Overall great stay, clean, aesthetic room. Not too far from the city if you have your own car, only 15-20 min drive. Breakfast selection limited but tasted pretty good.

One super small bar of soap that apparently you're supposed to use for sink area & shower. Shorter people should bring a pole vault to get into the beds.

Very clean spacious room and the friendliest people! We had a great stay. I would not recommend the food at the restaurant for dinner because it is just microwaved sandwiches but worked when we were exhausted.

Overall everything was good, clean and the staff was very curtious. Room was spacious and met all of our needs. It was nice to not have to pay for parking, two weeks ago I stayed at a smaller hotel in Nashville and had to pay $50 to park my car outside in their lot. Would recommend your hotel and stay again.

The hotel was nice, the room was clean and the staff was very pleasant. We ended up asking to change rooms due to a noisy upstairs neighbor and the front desk staff assisted with no problems. The breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular, but that's not a make or break for us. We would definitely stay there again.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed. Employees are all kind and helpful. The room was clean. The only small complaint is the bed is too hard for me. But everyone has their own preference. The gym and equipment was nice.

Location was perfect for getting to many different area of Nashville and surrounding areas with ease and The price couldn’t be beat, so those were two biggest perks. Employees were exceptionally friendly. Our room was clean and nice but felt empty. (Many times when they update older hotels I feel like that’s the case) We got the free breakfast two of the mornings, and it was nice - standard free breakfast buffet fare. My perhaps only complaint is that the bed was especially terrible. The body impressions/sunken areas were pretty deep and I woke up with back pain throughout every night. Overall 8-9 out of 10. It’s hard to fully recommend with crummy beds since that’s a key part of sleeping in a hotel.

This is an OK low-end property trying to pretend they are "suites." Nothing bad, just nothing special. Could have picked up trash around the property.

Breakfast was nice. Property was close to major roads. Only downside was the TV had a reduced viewing size. Not sure why and I guess it's not a major negative. Also the bed was quite high. Once again, not a big issue, just a little odd.

It had an adequate breakfast buffet and a small evening bar. Convenient location and a cheerful, attentive staff helped make this an enjoyable stay.

Great location in Brentwood and staff was always nice and helpful. Our room was clean, and despite renovations the hotel had a bit of an older feel to it.

Clean, quiet room. Exceptionally friendly staff & manager made our stay so much nicer. They gave us advice on getting to the Nashville hot spots and eateries. Also the hotel has a nice lounge that’s open until 10 pm, offering both food and drinks.

I expected a kitchenette. Just a mini fridge no freezer... food from pior guest still in refrigerator when we opened it. Not cool.

As older height challenged adults we found the bed hard to get into. The top of the mattress seamed to be four foot off the floor.

The breakfast was good and fresh, the rooms were clean and the housekeeping kept everything in the room clean fresh towels and made our bed up. The staff was friendly they greeted us when we walked in and left out.

Brentwood Suites is the only place I stay when I come to Nashville monthly on business. Their service is stellar. The manager is on site, not just standing around, but I’ve seen him cleaning. The property is spotless. The breakfast has a variety of hot and cold items. I can’t say enough about my favorite hotel!

The hotel was clean and well maintained, which is always a top priority for me. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making check in and our overall stay smooth and pleasant. The location was great. It’s in a quieter area but still relatively close to everything. It was only about a 15 minute drive to downtown Nashville, which made it convenient without having to stay directly in the busy downtown area. Free parking was a huge plus as well. The WiFi was strong and reliable, which I really appreciated since I needed it for work during our stay. There were also a decent amount of charging ports and outlets in the room, making it easy to keep all of our devices powered up. The complimentary breakfast didn’t have a huge variety of options, but what they offered was fresh and good. It was enough to get the day started without needing to immediately find food elsewhere. The only thing I wasn’t prepared for was how high the bed was. I genuinely had to hop up into it. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, just something I wasn’t expecting. Overall, it was a comfortable, convenient stay, and I would definitely consider staying here again when visiting the Nashville area.

Hubert greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. The hotel was clean and modern, recently remodeled. Our room 308 was very nice, clean comfortable and fresh. We enjoyed a drink in the lobby bar and had a lively conversation with the bartender Blane. Breakfast was good. We recommend this hotel.

Had an issue with shower and it was quickly resolved

My husband had an emergency health issue while at the hotel. The front desk handling of the incident and its aftermath was exceptional. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

We went to the bar and had to wait a long time for him to get us a drink. He also told us we couldn't add it to our room. We then went back to get another drink, but he was gone. We decided to get one from the market, but it was locked and we had to wait a long time til the receptionist returned. Unfortunately, he smelled like he had been smoking marijuana. We did get a drink to take up to our room. I asked for a wine glass and he brought back one, but it was dirty. Then when we went to bed the air wasn't working and the room got extremely hot. When we woke up, the air conditioner started working. The breakfast was great and had a lot of good choices. I think it would had been really great if the night staff stayed where they were supposed to be and not make people wait.

Breakfast was ok, scrambled eggs, waffles, etc. The fruit and yogurt choices were few. Having a restaurant in tthe hotel is a good idea but it had very limited food selections. The bed was on a high platform, over 3 ft off the floor.

The staff on the first morning. The bed was so high I could not climb on to it. The staff came with a stool and that did not help. The sofa cum bed was ok. The staff did bot have time to help with making the bed.

The room was great. There just was a gap under the door that let a lot of light in. I like to sleep in darkness, so I had to put a towel down.

Breakfast was great! Nice variety of food. The facility was quiet. The king bed was sitting up pretty high. For older people with limited joint mobility it was a bit of a challenge to get into the bed. The bed was comfortable once we got in.

My go-to hotel when I’m in town on business monthly. Always super clean, very helpful staff, great breakfast and nice little bar. Unlike many hotels these days, they check your room daily to empty trash, replace towels and make your bed.

Rooms spotless, everytime we left for the day we came back to a tidy replenished room, the beds were so comfortable, breakfast was great. Greg, the general manager was awesome, greeted us everytime we came in and out, ensured we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. His staff was kind and approachable, I have nothing bad to say at all about this location, we will be returning, this is our favorite place to stay when we come to TN. The man at the front desk was very friendly. We had several conversations about Nashville & why we were there. I'm assuming he was the manager.

The biggest and most pleasant surprise was discovering the on-site restaurant and bar when we checked in. It’s definitely under-promoted because the food was genuinely delicious, the mixed drinks were great, and they even offered a veggie burger and several vegetarian-friendly options — which we really appreciated. Having such a convenient and high-quality place to eat made our stay far more enjoyable than we expected. Overall, a wonderful experience — we’d happily stay again!

I loved everything!!! It was so quit and peaceful and very relaxing. Our room was really nice. We felt like we were in an upscale studio apartment. Everything was new looking. The lights around the bed and headboard made it look even better. This was one of the best places I have stayed in Nashville area. Only about a 10 min drive to downtown. The price was very reasonable. Actually they could charge more due to how nice the hotel is. This is a hidden Gem hotel🙂

Fantastic hotel with great staff, smooth experience and good breakfast. One thing I would improve is the bathroom privacy and sound insulation in the rooms. Otherwise it was perfect.

This hotel is part of the Choice brand. It has obviously been a remodel of an older hotel, but to that point it was done well. The hotel and room were clean, possibly the cleanest hotel shower I’ve seen at this price point. I was a bit concerned that the AC fan was going to be noisy at first, but after it ran for a while it calmed down and sounded fine. The bed had a memory foam topper which lent itself to some “sinking in”. Overall the bed is quite tall. The TV service in the room was robust. It was nice to have breakfast buffet option. The buffet was standard - not lacking but not off the charts. The location is OK. There was always a security vehicle in the parking lot at night, which I was both glad for and a bit concerned about.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely amazing. Clean rooms and very clean hotel. The beds and pillows were so plush like sleeping on a cloud. Our complimentary breakfast was absolutely delicious. They offered bacon, sausage, eggs, hash brown potatoes. They also had dry cereal, pastries bagels and waffles. 3 different juices, coffee, fruit and yogurt. It was outstanding. We were very pleased with our whole experience with Brentwood Suites.

Place was clean and convient to everything. Only down side was it was hot during our stay. When they cleaned the room, they turned the air up so the room wasnt cool from coming inside.

Overall, we loved our stay! The area outside wasn’t as well lit, but the room was super nice and looked well cleaned. Even our newborn loved it too! Love the renovations done! Honestly would stay here again if we had the chance!

We stay in this hotel on most trips to Nashville. The staff is friendly, the location is convenient for our needs, and the hotel is always very clean. Recent renovations add to an already very comfortable and quiet hotel.

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was disappointing. No decaf coffee. Bacon was not done. Eggs were bad. Oatmeal packs were only flavored no plain. Just didn’t look very appealing. We ended going out

Surprisingly, they have a good breakfast in the morning. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was nicely appointed and spacious. We stayed in room 404 and the only thing is this: we could hear the trains passing when they blew the whistle. It woke us up a little bit. However, I don’t think you’d be able to hear it on the other side of the hotel. We had a great stay!

Love the newly renovated rooms, however the bed is entirely too high. I had to literally run and dive to get on the bed. I am too old for that! I was told housekeeping would bring me a stool, but no one ever did. But other than that all was good!

Second time here, and had another great stay. Good value and a quick drive into the city. Beds are super comfortable, including the sofa beds. We will be back!

I liked the room. It looked new/updated. The only issue I had was hair in the shower. Other than that, everything looked clean. I will stay again.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. However room 103 had this mirror that tries to cover a hole. Made me a little uneasy since I have a one year old who’s into everything. Otherwise the stay was great.

We stayed at the Brentwood suites July 26th 2025 to july 27th 2025, we noticed a large hole in the wall behind the bathroom door where a large mirror was hanging. Looked like they tried to use the mirror to cover the hole but the mirror was not long enough. We woke up, started getting ready to leave when my fiancé noticed a roach, he quickly disposed of it. As we were checking out my fiance let the man at the front desk know that there was a hole in the wall and a roach, he then made note of it. We got back home and I noticed a roach on our luggage and that was what convinced me to write this review.

This was a very quiet place to stay. I loved the beds with the lights around them! The decor was beautiful- barn doors all around. Breakfast was just enough each day we were there. Great place- we will be back!

Booked a double queen room it was very spacious with a queen sleeper table and chairs. The room was decorated very nice and it was very clean. Would definitely stay there again.

Super nice staff. They were sweet to take our ice blocks for our cooler and place them in their freezer for us to pick up before we checked out. Good experience overall.

We find Brentwood Suites staff friendly and helpful.

Everything was in working order and clean. Comfortable beds. Working AC with no odor. Area is safe. Quick drive to the Belmont/Vanderbilt/Music Row area. Breakfast was average; they were out of a couple things but it was okay. Overall good value for the price and conditions, relative to other places in the Nashville area!

This particular hotel had only one elevator, nit really an issue but strange. The issue I had is that it has to be the noisiest hotel ever. Lots of banging and vacuuming early in the morning. The staff was great.

The check-in was quick and easy. The staff is exceptional. I did have a meal and drinks and was very pleased. The waiter was prompt and the bartender was very good. The rooms were clean, roomy, and very comfortable. The front desk day and evening staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with my stay! Keep up the excellent service.

Hotel charged my credit card for incidentals , which is standard. I didn’t use anything. It’s been a day & 1/2, have yet to see a refund back to my card. I would hope the process would be quicker. Still waiting……..

The person behind the check in desk didn’t know what he was doing. Kept telling us our credit cards were declined. The next person knew what he was doing and had no problems.
