Hyatt Place Nashville Brentwood

I love this hotel

Place has been around awhile and could use a face lift. Carpets need cleaning. No Microwave in the rooms. Elevators were stinky and hot. Hallways were unfordable "hot and musty". Breakfast was 4 out of 5. Breakfast staff were great.

They have an amazing cook who knows how to prepare breakfast. The room could use some upgrades especially the bathroom and shower but over all, it was comfortable and clean for an overnight stay.

It was a nice place to kick up your feet and get a good nights sleep before traveling all day again. The front desk was super welcoming, and the breakfast was a perfect amount to get you going.

Rooms are nice, bathrooms/shower is small.. biggest issue is that they charge you $8 a night for overnight parking lot fee that your not aware of.. probly won’t be a big deal to most people but hidden charges they don’t make you aware of when you book are a peeve to me especially petty fees like this one

The room was spacious and appeared clean; however, the property is showing its age and could benefit from some renovations. The carpet looked worn, and there was a slight odor in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was quite small compared to the size of the room. Overall, the hotel provided a comfortable stay with excellent service and a great location, but some updates to the property would enhance the guest experience.

why was our reservation canceled and we were not refunded, we were on the street at 12 o'clock in the morning with three children, we had to ask the hotel workers to give us a room for which we paid again. please sort out this situation and refund the money for the reservation

The hotel is pretty dated. Breakfast was sad. We booked this hotel for the weekend knowing we wouldn't be spending much time in the room. If you are coming on a leisure trip, skip this location. To top it all off, my husband discovered that the down comforter was covered in what looked like mold.

When I arrived I was not aware it was a $ 30 extra pre day for insurance property damage minus the $8 parking per day . Also they were telling different information on the remaining blance would be released. Also on the complimentary drinks, everything was only told to certain people. This was just the worst experience ever I am traveling for school and I wanted to be relaced and comfortable.

Friendly staff clean room breakfast was good and hot only thing I wish they would have was waffle maker to make waffle or pancakes because with kids that is something they would like to eat I have stay at other Hyatt Place and had it parking I wasn't to happy paying for parking as I mentioned before I didn't have to pay for parking at the other facilities but overall I enjoy my stay.

The beds were so uncomfortable. They felt like a rock. There was no water pressure in the shower and the room was super small. It was carpeted and it was out of date. I have stayed at Hyatt places before and this was not the one.

I requested a room online that had a bathtub because my husband gets severe migraines. And a hot bath for several hours are usually the only way that will help him even though I requested one and the hotel was not even halfway full. They would not give it to us and then they charge us for eight dollars for parking. I asked several other people and they did not pay for parking. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to this place.

We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and smelled nice. Hotel and downstairs and hallways also clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was good for a hotel supplied breakfast. Overall pleased.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking in, we immediately felt comfortable. The room was perfect for our needs and seemed very clean. Bed was very comfortable. We took advantage of the free breakfast which we enjoyed and loved they had a sort of "mini market" open 24/7 for a quick drink/snack. We would absolutely recommend this place and would stay here again.

The room was clean. Although we were supposed to been given an ADA accessible room and shower, the young man checking us in wasn't familiar with those type of room requests. I didn't realize the actual availability until I had already started unpacking some things we would need for the night. I happened to meet the manager when I went down to get ice and mentioned the need for a shower stool. He did offer to change our room to the initially requested accessible type, but I was too tired to repack and move, so he brought the shower stool and offered again to switch rooms if we desired. He was very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

My only complaint is that parking on the hotel property, you are charged $8 a day. Seems a little ridiculous and you aren’t aware of the charges until the day you check out and you are emailed a bill for parking.

They charged fir the room, we paid, then they charged us again a +$8 then a +$6 without notice. They wrote down that it was fir parking!!!!!$ they never inform us about paying the parking. Ridiculous!!!

Clean but a little bit dated in some areas and need maintenance on some things, such as our sink facet was so loose I thought it was going to fall off when we turned it on/off. Some outlets did not work, etc. it was ok for the price but needs to updating to reflect the price that is charged for a nights stay.

Super convenient to I65 and downtown. My only complaint is a parking fee. While it is nominal, its not near a venue so they're not selling the extra spaces like they would be if downtown. Other than that all good.

Never was I told about having to pay for parking booked the hotel because it had a pool, but the pool was closed and never was told that it was closed. We never got fresh towels or rooms cleaned. Just needs to have a little bit more explanation or explained before booking through your website.

The room was clean, spacious and cozy. There was one small hiccup with our room but the staff was quick to come up with a solution. We also had a family emergency resulting in not being able to check in on the day planned. They adjusted our days to assure we got our money's worth. Will stay again!

Staff was fabulous, we got there around 11:35, we did have to pay for parking even though it was a normal parking lot. Room was good, bathroom was very small but the rest of the room made up for it. We were disappointed with the breakfast and ended up not eating. Overall it was a good stay.

Bathroom too small - can barely close the door. Paying for parking in the hotel I’m paying to stay is ridiculous. I would understand if the parking was in a heavily populated area, but the Brentwood TN location does not fit that criteria.

Oddly they are located in a more remote suburban area on a large hill off the freeway and they CHARGE FOR PARKING which is strange because they are not located in an area where paid parking is NOT a thing. They are not in the city center or by airport where one would expect to pay extra for parking. Shocking.

The staff was friendly, helpful, and pleasant they made my fiance and I feel at home as soon as we arrived. The kitchen staff made sure everything was fresh and hot, and the housekeepers made sure we had clean towels daily. The hotel was very clean and organized. From Dani and John we want to give a huge thank you to Jeff the GM, Chris our bartender, and Kelly and E our front desk. You guys made our stay special with great conversation and laughter. Our next visit again will be at the Hyatt Nashville / Brentwood for sure. Thank you guys for everything.

negative: staff in the morning only gave a breakfast exception to special guests to eat early before it began. Our family was excluded when though we were leaving early. Blankets in room are as thin as single ply toilet paper and feel like cardboard. The bathroom door narrowly cleared the toilet to close. The bathroom sink (actually in the sleeping area) couldn’t be used as the pressure and angle of the faucet were so forceful that you thought it was fire hydrate and sprayed all over the walls, counters, our stuff. The exterior door to the hotel two doors down from our room didn’t even latch or lock. You could walk right in at any point no need for key card. Overall, we would not recommend

Mediocre at best. The room was remodeled and somewhat decent but the rest of the hotel needs a major overhaul and cleaning especially outside in the parking lot. Both outlets in our room didn’t work. Beds were okay as far as comfort but they are double beds so hard to fit 2 people. Workout room was nice with plenty of equipment and weights. Breakfast was good. Lots of options including fresh berries and melon. The workers were friendly and helpful.

Room was spacious with couch and great TV and really nice, big Shower. Bathroom was very tight though with door so close to toilet that you had to be mindful of your feet when closing the door. There was NO freezer in the little mini-fridge

The hotel overall needs to be updated. The air/heat in my room did not work. There may have been mold in the shower and the shower head needed to be replaced altogether. However, the rep who checked me in was AMAZING!!

The staff was mixed in knowledge of the "goings on" at the hotel. The BIGGEST issue was that their website stated a restaurant on sight but it was closed for renovations. I would think a simple I/T stamp could have informed travelers of this. We were pulling a camping trailer and did not want to unhitch it in the rain. We did have snacks to eat but very disappointing. This Hyatt needs to be updated. The cleaning staff needs to do better job cleaning the interior space inside the hotel, other than the rooms. Rooms need to be thoroughly clean, lady bug infested. Trees and landscaping need to be delt with in the most fierce way possible. Now, if your kid has a game to play in the area and you’re looking for a cheap, quick stay, KEEP LOOKING!!!

Thank you Hyatt Place Brentwood and Expedia staff for being flexible. I made an additional booking (1/30 - 1/31/2026) knowing well that it would be non-refundable should I cancel. This was to ensure that I still had a place to be safe in should the power at my home would still be out due to the snow storm. Thank God, it was restored on 1/29/2026 and we checked out and went home. I called Expedia because I made the reservation through them, hoping that they might consider a refund given the circumstance. They worked with the Hyatt Place management and the latter waived the stipulation and gave me a full refund! Even though they know that I would not have any reasons to stay there under normal circumstance, because I live in the vicinity the refunded me anyway. However, they can be assured that should I have guests coming to visit and I am not able to accommodate them, Hyatt Place will be the first place I would put my guests in. This is not only because they gave me a refund but the stay was hospitable and the amenities exceeded my expectations, given their price point! Their rooms were spacious and their hot water is hot! Also a shout out to their staff for working through the inclement weather! Thank you Expedia and Hyatt Place Nashville / Brentwood!

Breakfast was great. Room size and layout was great. Elevators were out the entire stay so constantly walking the steps to the third floor was a lot. Our toilet would periodically not flush, but a staff member came to fix it when requested.

The room was about same as usual but the bath room is getting smaller. This is not the Hyatt usual.

The most disappointing was I left behind my travel speaker i use when working. I called with in hours after checking out. and shocker No One in house keeping turned in the speaker. It was the size of a brick and left on the desk. So no I wouldn't recommend staying here. Apparently they have hired less than honest house keepers. I called and spoke with Chris at the front desk via phone. I asked him to let me know when it was turned in or not. He never responded back. So goodnight and good luck, find another place. Not a good vibe.

Fridge in room didn’t work. One elevator was out of service so the time it took to use the working one was so long. Breakfast was terrible. No ice machine. Outlets in room had no covers on them.

The breakfast was good, and the staff was good. The property overall was tidy and convenient. However, I discovered the hard way that my bed was infested with bed bugs when I discovered after my stay that I had developed at least seven bites on my left shoulder and arms. I informed the hotel, but I don't know if they followed up or not on this.

The room could have been cleaner. There were lots of ladybugs everywhere. The shower-head was terrible, needed an upgrade. The bathroom door couldn’t close as it hit the toilet. The toilet stuck out too far from the wall so the door hit the front not allowing it to close. The staff was just ok. I did have a charge on my bill that wasn’t mine and had to get with finance to get it removed.

Stayed 2 nights. Hotel grounds and interior could use some freshening up. Noticed several guests with large and multiple dogs staying there. Room was a bit dated .. and dark.. extremely tight bathroom door access. Bed was comfortable. Shower looked clean and worked well.. Closet was tiny and a bit difficult to access. No microwave in room . Front desk was friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we Had an issue with stink bugs on the room curtains.. probably gained access through the air conditioner. They are a seasonal pest and front desk promptly sent someone up to remove them. The hotel staff was apologetic and brought us a complimentary gift of bottled waters and snacks. Breakfast was decent.. liked the fresh fruit offering. The eggs were tasteless. Chose the hotel because of its low rate on hotels.com. Probably will not stay there again and will choose a newer property.

The location is safe and quiet. The shower and toilet room is a bit small. The room was clean. The sofa was large. I doubt anyone would want to sleep on the pull out mattress though. We have stayed here twice a couple years apart and would stay again.

Older hotel with outdated facilities. Needs an upgrade. Bed was not comfortable.

It is ridiculous to be under construction and not mention it and still charge full price. I woke to a man walking past my window on the second floor and drilling and hammering. Then suprise there was a $8 charge for parking just to come outside and one the construstion vehicles was blocking my car

Unfortunately our car was broken into via passenger window getting smashed. Apparently it is a regular thing at these hotels in the area. The manager is reimbursing us the room fee however that’s just a fraction of what it costs to get the window fixed. For how the hotel is rated you would think security would be better.

I shared previously but the property is undergoing renovations and roof work. So I know my observations will be resolved. The staff is by far the most kindest individuals I’ve encountered this week. They were sensitive to my issue of no ac lol I appreciated the conversations and warm welcome. Thank you all!

The hotel is very run down and needs a major update. One out of two elevators was down the entire weekend, and the working one was questionable. Breakfast was comparable to other chain hotels that offer free breakfast.

We stayed at the Hyatt in Brentwood September 4-7 2025. We booked this hotel because they had an outdoor pool that was supposed to be open until October 1. When we arrived they told us the pool was closed for the season. I was very disappointed. The room that we stayed in was mediocre. The couch had stains on it and the bathroom had mold on the walls of the shower near the floor of the shower. There were several other hotels to choose from in the area, but we chose this hotel because of the outdoor pool.

Bathroom consisted of shower and toilet in a room so small that I had to straddle the toulet to open/close the door. Ice machine was broken. One of the two elevators was broken. Was charged $20 for parking and $8 for “security”. Clerk specifically stated they had security personnel in the parking lot and that’s what the $8 was for. Well, I got about $8 worth of security because my truck window was broken and vehicle was ransacked. I saw at least six vehicles with broken windows in this parking lot. Trying to get in touch with hotel management to file a claim, now.

1 out of 2 elevators was out of service & the one in operation was soooo slow. We were on the 6th floor or we would have used the stairs. Elevator is on the small side so a luggage cart & a few people are all it can hold at once. Overall, it was a clean place to stay. Nothing spectacular. Bed was comfy & shower was hot. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. On site bar & restaurant are not well described on the website. We were expecting a real restaurant & bar. This is nothing but a lobby with some hard liquor and air fried bar appetizers. Definitely not a bar or restaurant atmosphere. We ended up going to Longhorn across the street. First stay breakfast was delicious and well organized. Staff kept everything full and organized despite a high school soccer team being there. Very well behaved students I might add. Second time it was a hot mess with less options & staff was not as good at keeping up with the extra influx of what I presume was a wedding party. I’m not sure if I would stay here again or not. It’s decent for the price but if I had only had the second experience, I wouldn’t return.

Stay somewhere else. This place looks like it should be nice. But in reality it was kind of dumpy, loud, and unimpressive.

Big rooms but the toilet/shower room needs an upgrade. Very small and shower felt like a power wash. Thermostat on the wall didn’t seem to do anything, the ac was controlled on the machine by the window (which needed cleaning, we told them). We think renovations are underway, the tv was new.

The hotel was safe and convenient and to Hyatt Place standards in room cleanliness and amenities. The elevator was not working properly and we were on the 6th floor. Other than that, great.

Stay was great! The pool was an added bonus. Bathroom was very small but otherwise everything else was good.

The things I didn’t like were.. I was charged for parking in the PARKING LOT of hotel. And to leave bottles of water in the room, that if I drank, I would be charged $5 for a bottle. Simply ludicrous. I stay in a hotel almost every week. This is first time I was charged for parking in the parking lot of hotel. Craziest thing ever. Not to mention the bottle water nonsense. Needless to say.. I won’t be back to this hotel.

Machines al Broke air conditioning also not working 100%

The check is was great. The room was what we needed and worked for us! The breakfast was not used because we are gluten free and nothing there we could eat.

It was not as comfortable a stay as we anticipated, but they were professional, and I commend their working with Hotels.Com for rectify.

We were reserved to stay 4 nights, but the moment we walked into the room we knew we had to leave. One elevator was not working, the room was not clean, and the beds were not comfortable at all. The hotel was inhabitable for young children as well. We checked out within an hour.

I had to pay to park! I don’t understand why. There’s plenty of parking - an entire parking lot. Just another dingy hotel with mediocre service, cringy accommodations, and a run down building. Same as every other comparable hotel these days. It was probably nice long ago but it hasn’t been maintained. I hope someday I actually find a hotel in this price range that shows they care about their customers and aren’t just giving bare minimum.

This hotel was wonderful for our short weekend stay, however $10/day to park is highway robbery!! How do they expect you to get there?….sprouting wings and fly?? Ridiculous!

This property was clean, the staff were very nice and helpful; their continental breakfast offered a wide variety of foods to choose from.The hotel only had one working elevator to service 6 floors of guest, which lead to several minutes of waiting for everyone. Also, the housekeeper for our room was lazy, our linen needed to be changed and instead of her changing all the linen she only changed the sheets and left the other dirty linen on the bed. I definitely will not be using this hotel again.

Great place

Staff was polite but we had to wait a long time before they realized we were at the counter to check in. The sofa bed had rust stains on it so the girls wouldn’t sleep on it. It was in a good neighborhood with lots of restaurants near by.

Evening front desk staff were very courteous, friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. I will definitely book again! I love the different actual chef cooked breakfast options, the bar, which was so needed and the mini restaurant. This is truly one of the best hotels on my trip!!

We stayed here one night on our way through Nashville. We chose the location for the space provided which was good but the shower/toilet area was so small you could barely shut the door. The tv did not turn on, the AC struggled to get below 75, one elevator was out so the other was impossible to catch and the biggest issue was the dirty bedding. When we held up the white comforter, it was brown and there was mold inside when held up in front of light. The breakfast was also very disappointing. We definitely will not be back.

Excellent for the price. Breakfast was convenient and had options for a variety of diets. The commode / shower area in our room was tight but manageable.

The staff at this hotel are amazing. The hotel is dated. We had one slow working elevator until our last night and that elevator broke down. We were on the 6th floor and had to use the stairs. Also one night at least 10 cars had windows broken and stuff stolen. Thank God none of our baseball team was involved. I really enjoyed the size of the room and the pool.

We arrived at 730 and was surprised to see the pool closed at 8 even though it was daylight until almost 930

Room smelled like dog pee, carpet was so disgusting our feet stuck to it. Only saving grace for this hotel was the front desk guy Chris!!! He was amazing, helpful and very welcoming!! Probably got a crappy room because we booked through expedia and not them directly!

For the price, not at all worth it. Sleeping sofa is trash and will break your back. Double Beds are the smallest I've ever slept on and a bad musty smell due to mold. This place needs an update and work done, by actual "skilled" tradesmen. The work you see that was done, it's terrible

The hot water wasn’t working, the air conditioner wasn’t working very well. All the icemakers were out of commission and overall it was pretty blah as in the hotel is very shabby. Very disappointed in our choice.

All of the staff were super helpful and friendly. We especially loved Zara at the front desk. The layout of the room was perfect for being able to visit while in the room also. We will definitely be back to this property.

My family and I enjoyed staying here. It was quiet and beds were comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small. Breakfast was great and staff were very friendly.

Convenient location, near stores and restaurants. They could do better with breakfast. There was no microwave in the room to heat up food or drinks so I had to go to the lobby multiple times because I have kids that had snacks. The carpet was first in the room. We enjoyed the pool area and everyone that worked there was nice.

Great place!

Overall it was just an average stay. The elevators weren’t in great shape and took a very long time to come to first floor. Breakfast was ok. Some of the plates and silverware were dirty but the last day we were there they switched to plastic and paper which made it a little better. The bathrooms are cramped and small and the lighting is very low in the rooms. Front desk and all staff were great! Just think the hotel needs remodeling and some love.

ADA room with king bed and separate seating area. Bed was comfy. Cleanliness was okay. Could not view TV from seating area. Mirror in bathroom was not affixed to wall and would sway when bumped - appeared to be resting on sink back. Breakfast was supposed to be available until 10am but when entering the breakfast room at 9:30am many of the food options were depleted and were not re-stocked. Would not stay here again.

Even though the elevator was broken the first day. My overall experience was very pleasant. The room was extremely spacious. View fantastic. Overall a great experience.

Everything was great

The staff was friendly and tried to accommodate the issues that arose in a timely manner. One elevator was down and the remaining elevator was very slow. No ice machine on assigned floor and when I went up to the floor ice was on - no ice machine down. Toilet in our first room would not flush- sink in the second room would not drain. The presence of sorry for the inconvenience signs all over was not confidence building.
