We had a very pleasant stay at Courtyard by Marriott Buffalo Downtown/Canalside. We really liked the location of the hotel, which is convenient for exploring the area, as well as the fact that it offers onsite parking (even if it is not free). The rooms were spacious, modern, and clean, and overall the hotel has a modern feel. The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. As small downsides, the shower only had the fixed ceiling-mounted shower head without a movable option, and the WiFi quality was rather poor at times (although this seems to be common in many US hotels).

Helpful staff, clean room, beautiful hotel & steps away from KeyBank Center - perfect location! We used the easy access overflow parking. It's been years since I've stayed here & I can't wait to come back!

Room was large, needs more towel hangers, but beautiful location! The pool was not useable due to a pool party before hand, I found it to be lacking in cleaning. (Waste, towel, dirt) but would stay here again. Everyone is friendly, kind, and helpful.

Everything about my stay was pleasant except for the water from the bathroom sink. It runs either extremely hot or cold and there’s really no middle ground. That could use improvement but otherwise I enjoyed my stay and would come back.

Location excellent and rooms are spacious & very clean. Really nice lobby with great table to chair ratio (comfortable). Parking uncovered and expensive @ $18/day. Staff is great!

First off it was way too expensive for a small 1 bed room, we also had to pay for parking there wasn’t a continental breakfast and the TV didn’t work. Lastly there was someone above us that was pounding on the floor for almost 2hrs. I called the front desk and nothing ever happened. I will not be staying at your hotel ever again.

The location to Key Bank is excellent. Staff we interacted with were excellent. There was some sort of youth hockey group staying there. Maybe putting all of them on one floor without other guests would have been better. Offering a free continental breakfast, or even a free grab and go would be nice. We’ve stayed at a lot of Marriott properties and they have those included.

Great hotel option for events at Key Bank Center. Staff was super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will continue to book this hotel when we are in town for an event.

The young lady that checked us into our rooms when we arrived was very unpleasant.

The bar has a limited menu for breakfast. Better bet is to visit Tim Horton's across the street

We enjoyed our stay however were disappointed having to pay a parking fee. This should have been included in the price we payed for our stay.

The first room we got both tvs didn’t work, staff came to fix they couldn’t fix or didn’t know how? So they moved us to a new room after we had gotten somewhat settled after long drive. Not as clean as we expected….

We had a great stay. In town for the Goo Goo Dolls concert. Staff was very friendly and hospitable, hotel was very clean, comfortable and well kept. Will definitely stay there again.

Pool was disgusting with kids jumping in the jacuzzi with floaters. I told the front desk and they gave us free breakfast but the next day the chef didn’t show up so there was no breakfast. The person working at the cafe the night before had a dirty shirt and hair. It was gross.

Paid extra for breakfast but none was available when we came down for breakfast.

Everything was great except they charged me $72 for daily parking over 4 days — I didn’t have a car. FRAUD. Watch out for them trying to rip you off!!!

At 1st my room wasn't cleaned. But I told the front desk and they upgraded my room free of charge and validate my parking. So I can't complain

My only grievance is the microwaved breakfast that costs $44

Room was clean however there was a show going on at the KeyBank arena literally right down the street, where event goers were parking it the hotel lot. Staff did nothing about these parkers, making it impossible for us to park our car. We paid $18 a night to park and couldn't even get a spot at 5pm. Not happy about this at all.

Staff was so helpful when we had issues with our TV. They upgraded our room which was lovely but not necessary.

This hotel never disappoints..I was in for Kelsea Ballerini and the Bandits game. The location is great- just a couple blocks from the arena. The staff is always so welcoming and helpful. And I love the rooms there. Cozy and very clean.

The sidewalks and parking lot was a sheet of ice. No one put salt out or salted the parking lot. The mirror had a large crack. Major law suit waiting to happen!!!

Everything was pretty clean minus the bathroom. Fire alarm woke us up. There was no staff to direct or help anyone. It was on for over an hour and the hotel made no attempt to tell anyone why or how long it would be. It took us going back in for them to tell us it was fine to go back to our room with the alarm still going… staff and attitudes didn’t make it worth while.

Rooms were large and clean. We felt comfortable. Regarding the staff one young lady was so sweet but wasn't very knowledgeable about restaurant, or the surrounding areas, one gentleman was rude. everyone else was okay. Very happy with the cleanliness however it was expensive.

Shower was great, bathroom was large. Room was clean and spacious. Parking was easy to access. First night bar tender was great, one of the best espresso martinis. Second night bartender not good at all, but was polite.

Everything at the property was as advertised. The only criticism is that they make you pay for parking on site and there was no turndown service so we had to Find sheets and make up the sofa bed ourselves. Other than that, everything was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Stayed for a Sabres game. Was able to park onsite and walk to the arena with all the Sabers fans. Easy in and out. We were probably back at the hotel at the same time most fans were just getting to their cars

30 second walk from KeyBank Arena. Pool was warm and lovely.
