We enjoyed our overnight stay while traveling to Florida. The staff were very friendly, courteous and professional. It appears there was some recent remodelling as everything was updated and looked like new. Room was comfortable, clean and cozy and beds were great. We had the typical noise from a room next door and doors slamming, ect., but that was a guest issue rather than the hotel. Some folks are just oblivious. Breakfast was good with options for everyone and a very friendly and helpful hostess. There also some nice, thoughtful little perks and the coffee was outstanding.

Was told at check-in that there were no rooms avaliable with 2 beds as I had reserved. We got a king bed suite instead for the same price. The overall experience was satisfactory. Nothing too special but all ok.

The staff was courteous. The room was clean and had very neat lighting behind the bed. Room was comfortable with fridge, etc. It was difficult to get in the room because the green light on the door lock barely lights up when you use the key. So, it looks like nothing is happening. Also, only two of the four charging stations work. .

Closeness to restaurants and freeways Stipulation about not changing room type to 2 Queen beds. Front desk stated that the type of room I selected on booking was a king bed when I selected standard 2 Queen and requested it. They wanted to add a $20 fee per night to change

They had rooms available One of the rooms didn't have air conditioning in the summer in Georgia. I was not able to cancel the room, so I paid for a room that I couldn't even use

Super service and kind personell

Check-In and check out were easy. The reason I gave four stars instead of was because we had to go down to the first floor to get ice instead of having an ice machine on each floor.

Room smelled moldy, slow check in and key cards didn’t work when got to the room. Room needed maintenance/updates.

Staff were all nice, however, there was a flowery fragrance being pumped throughout the lobby and throughout the hallways which wafted into the room. We caught whiffs of pet smells in the hallways so we believe that it was to cover up pet odors. It was horrible for us since we suffer from fragrance allergies. We were offered to change rooms only. They would not let us change to a different Holiday Inn that was within a few miles. Very disappointing and made for a very uncomfortable stay. This was definitely an older property with need of refreshing.

When parking in front of the building, watch for the big yellow pole base. It sits to close to the curb allowing your bumper to hit it. The owner should put a cement curb in front of the existing curb so folks will not hit the big yellow base. I hit it and dented my bumper a little "my bad"--the base was clearly marked but a cement curb properly placed could save a lot of headaches for staff and patrons. Loved the stay .

It took over 25 minutes to check in because desk employee could not get the software to process my credit card. She was extremely apologetic and followed up with a call to the room to make sure we were satisfied after she upgraded us to a suite. There were 2 other guests trying to check in ahead of us and they had difficulties with check-in. They stepped aside for us to try to check in and then as I said it was over 25 minutes until we had a room key. She was on the phone with a supervisor (?) the whole time trying to get the problem resolved.

Everyone from check-in to the breakfast hostess went out of their way to make our stay was perfect. The bed was amazingly comfortable.

We stayed here on our drive to Florida. The staff was amazing and friendly. We will put this down as a place to stop the next time.

After a long stressful driving day, it was comforting to know that an outstanding and comfortable room would be ready for us. The breakfast was great!! Thank you for providing a quiet, clean, and restful stop.

We had only one complaaint, and that was not fault of staff. People checked in at 2:30 am and were so loud they woke us up we put in earplugs so we could gp back to,sleep

Hot water not hot enough

We’ve stayed at other properties in the Byron / Warner Robbin’s area and this Holiday Inn Express was the best so far. The staff was helpful and courteous, the breakfast was good and the overall property was quiet.

I love the cleanliness of the property and rooms. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. Cleaning lady was rude knocking trying to open my door even with the do not disturb sign on the door. Two days in a row she did this and she try calling my room l didn’t answer.

I was sent an email asking to give a review so here it is. We made reservations for this hotel (two rooms) the night before and in anticipation of our long road trip from Ohio to Florida. While on the trip, one of our children became very ill. We decided we either needed to stop straightaway (we were still three hours from the hotel), or simply power through to home. I called the hotel to see if I could cancel given the circumstances, as no one wants to be sick at a hotel, and no one wants to be around germs or hear other people and other rooms being sick. We were told that their cancellation policy was that they cannot refund us for either room. They were firm and under no uncertain terms we would be charged for both rooms. After much discussion, we decided to do the right thing and simply go home and pay for the unused rooms. We felt it would be wrong to expose all these unnecessary people (other guests, cleaning staff, etc) to the sickness…so we did the right thing even though we lost money. I can only hope that the manager one day receives the same type of empathy and grace that we received from her. Given the holiday season is upon us, I’m pretty certain the Grinch works at this Holiday Inn.

I had some trepidation b/c other reviews mentioned a musty smell. My room was very clean, smelled clean and fresh, had great lighting, a desk, and loads of outlets (USB and standard). Car charging, gym, free WiFi, instantly hot water. You really get your money's worth.

Had to make a few last minute changes to the reservation and the staff was more than accomidating given the circumstances.

For a Holiday Inn, it was unreal. Facilities are run down, Waited 10 minutes at check to speak to anyone. I had 2 large cockroaches, crawling across the ceiling on 2 nights. I was told they spray the rooms weekly for roaches. But couldn't refund a night because I booked through Expedia. I won't be staying there again. Terrible.

It had nice beds but they limited the towels and there wasn't any additional blankets in the room - should have had more towels and blankets for the price.

The room was nice and quiet and dainty. However the pre-loaded bottles of shampoo and lotion were empty. That's a major inconvenience and should be checked by staff in my room.

The roll in shower floor isn't steep enough to keep water from flooding the entire bathroom BUT the manager brought extra towels and took care of the problem. Over and above!

When I got there, the agent lied to me and said that my reservation was for the hotel next door. I went next door and was told that my reservation was for the place I just came from. Went back and found out that my room was sold to someone else. Took an hour and half to get a room at the other hotel. They would not even process my refund and told me to call expedia to request a refund

Someone was enjoying some late night music in their car outside. Thought after 11pm that would soften but was not to be.

Booked 15 min before arrival through Expedia. I understand it's a 3rd party, you have "no control".. then if it's going to be wrong. Donut work with them. No king room available upon arrival. No discount for 2 queens. We left angry. We're welcomed down the road at the price and proper room down the road stated. And the woman felt bad for us and gave us a discount. Your staff was super apologetic and tried to offer alternatives and assistance. Not her fault, she was lovely as she had Expedia immediately reach out to us to try to correct but I was already checked in somewhere else.

This was just an overnight rest in our relocation journey. I was so pleasantly surprised how wonderful it was. The desk attendant was incredibly friendly and helpful with useful information and tips. The room and hotel were so incredibly clean. Perfect stay!aoums highly recommended.

The hotel was adequate but also somewhat underwhelming. It seemed to have been recently refurbished, which was nice, but a deeper look showed that many improvements were relatively superficial and/cosmetic.

Our card was charged for the room. When we arrived we were told they had overbooked the hotel and we did not have a room. They had a sister property next door and gave us a room there at the same price but did not have the room type we booked. The room was clean. However it was the noisiest night we have ever experienced in a hotel.

We enjoyed the dates at Holiday Inn. Ms. Sonia at the front desk was very helpful and kind.

Breakfast bar cleared out; hotel had a large(100) family reunion staying there and no prep for breakfast bar; although they say 'free breakfast' included, it does not mean there will be food there; i had to go office site and pay for my own breakfast; poor management!

PRO: comfortable beds, easy to adjust temperature, Keurig coffee pot, great shower head. CoN: roughest bath towels I have ever seen...one towel per person...extremely low toilet. Toiletry dispensers in shower (shampoo, conditioner, shower soap) either were empty or didn't work.

King beds should have 6 pillows. Toilet paper and tissue were like sand paper. For the price, step up your game. Bed was super comfortable.
