good location....room did not have a refrigerator...only ice machine is on the first floor.

There was a stong musty mildew odor coming from the air conditioner. There were also roaches in the room

I am a travel nurse and work at night. Sue to traffic I had to go straight to work Fri night. I called and talked to someone that said they wouldn't give my room away. I had a Fri and sat morning hjt reservation. I worked Saturday night also so needed to sleep during the day Sat. She said it was fine. They wouldn't give my room away. I told her I knew I would still be paying for both nights. She even askede when I would be there. I said around 8 AM. Got there Saturday morning and you guessed it. They had giveny room away.

Staff was super nice. Coffee only served from 6am to 11am. Breakfast would have been nice.

Very small room. The hotel in general was dingy and there was what appeared to be homeless people hanging around the parking lot.

the desk clerk was quite clear that my payment for the room had not gone through and he suspected that I had booked through booking.com... I had my friend that was getting the room for stay at a different hotel booking.com needs to do their job correctly and in a timely manner. my situation was not a one time occurrance. The clerk stated that not just that day (Friday 13th March but the entire week) numerous people had confirmation number's for having paid, but the hotel had yet to receive payment. I went to a different hotel.

My room was clean and large. I was easily able to park.

Roaches. Rotten wood under the refrigerator , so when you opened the door the fridge falls forward No microwave. Stained carpet in the halls. Broken and cracked tiled though out the hotel floor.

Miss sweetie, and Mr smit was amazing, accommodating, and overall exceptional The nighttime man with the glasses sleeps during his shift is rude to all the women yells at them and tells them to be quiet. Doesn’t like to change room says he has to call managers to do that when I have medical problems and needed a cooler room and was very rude to my 17-year-old daughter would look at us very nasty over all the hotels, exceptional but that one man at night bigger man with glasses was extremely rude to August and does not do his job does not compliment the hotels atmosphere at all of home comfortability and how great sweetie and smit in August were so amazing. He is a complete throw off to the hotel if it wasn’t for the guest and the two managers I probably wouldn’t come back because of that man, but I will revisit for the hospitality and comfort of home that you feel.

the big time.clerk was quite that my payment for the room had not gone, or more specifically I had apparently booked through booking.com again they had sent confirmation of payment to the hotel. so booking .com folks you have messed things up motel 6 that booking.com people had pulled lack of forwarding my payment on other guests as well, not just that day. the entire week. booking.com has yet to refund my money.

Hard to beat a stay here for the money. It’s clean, in a safe location, and plenty of free parking.

This is the second or third time I have stayed at this hotel and the property has gone so downhill. The first room we were given, had a bed that was shaped like a taco so we removed to a different room where it was infested with German cockroaches, feces, covered bedsheets, and it was in a struggle just to get towels and toilet paper from the front desk. Five years ago, I would have recommended it to anyone now I do not recommend it to no one.

I get that this is a budget hotel. When you're only paying $60 a night, you don't have high expectations. The staff said they recently acquired the property, but it was a complete disarray. Rooms and hallway smell like smoke. However, the staff did move us to a cleaner one. There were bugs everywhere, holes in walls, trim and tile missing, toilets are broken, stains in all catpet, and one of the three rooms didn't have a refrigerator. I know it's not a huge deal, but they do not even provide tissues. Oh, and elevator inspection expired 6 months ago. The dressers were busted in 2 of the rooms. We were also told that they had trouble hiring and keeping a housekeeping staff. If you aren't able to accommodate guests, maybe you should close down until problems are solved.

It was a convenient location to where we needed to be. The staff was excellent. The bed was really hard to sleep on. It could need replacing. You could feel all the Springs in the mattress. They need more Coverings on the beds. The refrigerator and the tubs could use more cleaning. It would be nice to have a dryer and some tissues in the tissue holder in the bathrooms. It looks very out dated in the rooms. I would remove the small sofa in the lobby or have it really cleaned good as it's not appealing to see a very badly strained sofa sitting next to the elevator. But the staff was very nice and accommodating. I really liked the location, I just think it needs a update.

When I tried to check in the Motel 6 receptionist could not find my reservation in their system. They blamed it on Hotels.com. Their suggestion to resolve the issue was to contact Hotels.com, cancel the original reservation, and book another reservation at a higher rate. I did not feel comfortable doing this, nor could I afford to spend more money and wait 7-10 business days for my refund to post. I made my original reservation and paid im good faith that I would have a room. Fortunately the representative with Hotels.com helped me get a room at another hotel at no extra cost to me.

No courtesy shampoo, no toiletries other than a tiny bar of cheap soap. Front desk said they did not have shampoo to give out. Constant noise from adjacent rooms and housekeeping doing laundry and cleaning beside my room at 5am. TV remote did not work. Most miserable stay in all of my years traveling.

This place was rated 'good' on Expedia, and my flights were pretty expensive, so I decided to take a chance staying there. It was a massive mistake. First, let me say that the staff was very kind and accommodating. The compliments end there. This Property is anything but good and barely rates as poor. Hole in the wall. Filthy floors. Bed were like boy scout camp cots, the pillows worse, no sink stopper, mismatched touch up paint, zero hair dryer. I went to the front desk and respectfully asked if I could borrow a hairdryer and the manager looked at me and stated the hotel doesn't have one and then he proceeded to follow that up with "Miss, You look like you need to be staying at the marriott and not at the Motel 6". To which my response was "a hairdryer is a basic necessity, sir", please check me out of this place! I'm take his statement as a compliment. I'd rather camp. In my car than stay here ever again.

The room was pretty bad. The frame for the box spring of the bed had a large piece of metal sticking out from one corner that would definitely take out an ankle if someone was not careful. There are no amenities in the bathroom at all. Other than soap, that. Is it ....no hair dryer or anything like that. Which is understandable for the price paid, but the 3 different types of insects and bugs I had to kill in the bathroom each night and morning were not. .I had Booked about 7 days and asked for a cancelation of the remaining 5 and they were quite nice and refunded it right away. The building was nice, parking area very well Lit and I felt safe in the area and in the hotel but it needs a good refreshing.

Everything was good although there is roaches so they need to be sprayed. I also paid $77 one night and it was supposed to be $66 and the next night I paid $44 so not understanding that. Other then that it was good.

Our room was in disrepair and the bathroom sink not only didnt have hot water, it hosted roaches. The mattress was worn out. The room door didnt close properly and there was a fairly large gap at the frame. Outside the building there were a lot of people in the parking lot and it was hard to tell if they actually belonged there, ir were just using the lot for "business". Other residents were very noisy at all hours, slamming doors and talking loudly in the hallway.

Staff was nice and there was a working fridge and microwave in the room. The carpet in the hallway was filthy unfortunately and the room was not very clean. Looks like they've recently replaced carpeting in the room with hard flooring (good, because if the carpet in the room was like the hallway I would have slept in my car instead of staying) but the flooring did not look professionally installed and felt sticky. Part of the counter was broken, the bathroom door wouldn't close, and I found a roach in the bathroom. Not sure what's going on with this location - I've stayed there in past years with no issues, but in future I'll be staying elsewhere.

Pretty nasty and cheap.

First room when I got there the A/C did not work. Changed rooms, woke up the next morning to roaches. They said they would spray the room. They sprayed the room 2 twice that day. Next morning woke up to a roach under my pillow got dressed went to go somewhere and had a roach on my shirt when I got into my vehicle that was the last straw. I went in told them the problem once again. Got my things and checked out. Had to shake all of my clothes out and everything I had when I got to my vehicle did not want to take any home with me. Do not recommend this place to stay.

The staff here are very friendy and professional amd most definitely made me feel welcomed. All the rooms ive stayed in have been stocked well wit towels, and toiletries and all that, and have been pretty clean and tidy. Also love the prices and deals here. Seems like the most affordable motel in town! Would recommend

Seemed like people lived there on a long term stay. Cars in the parking lot was full of clothing and stuff. Kinda like they where homeless.

Upon check in the air was not working in lobby or walkways. There were fans in walkways on room floors because they claim they had just cleaned the carpets and they needed to dry. Elevator inspection expired 9/2025 and when I asked about it the staff advised it doesn’t expire until January 2026 they had just not posted the proper stickers. I chose the stairs after that. Getting into the room, there were several dead and live roaches all over the room. I brought my cats with me so they took care of those. Shower pressure was very low. Had to hold toilet handle for long period for it to flush all the way. Air conditioning was barely functioning but it was cooler outside so wasn’t horribly worried about that. Overall will never stay at this facility again.

It was an ok place, bed clean as well as bathroom. Internet was poor, surroundings rooms extremely loud.

There was an ant problem in area near microvave secondary sink area. I have stayed here a few times and will return. Price is reasonable. The front desk lady Madison is super and responsive. She is there and willing to help if you have problems.

Outdated spring mattress, rust stains in the tub, and cockroaches put this hotel in the third world bracket. My room was right outside the elevator doorway, which was noisy. Check in was friendly and efficient, though. I tried to make my stay was brief as possible.

I understand folks like to enjoy themselves after work but there was alot of men loitering drinking and doing cat calls . I didn't feel comfortable . Other than property was ok but definitely use some upgrades ,air freshener and touch of fresh paint. Sheets were stained

My first time ever booking a hotel, the staff were friendly and made it easy. The surrounding area is not bad but not great, rooms were outdated, few stains on the thin sheets, but you get what you paid for (which I knew what I was paying for). The price was SUPER doable! Great for a quick stay.

Bed bugs

Tom Boddett please do not leave the light on at this dump! 7 days in a room with no carpet no chair no coffee pot no microwave and no room service! Atlanta moved the homeless out of the city for the All Star Games and Beyoncé concert and most landed on the doorstep of this hotel. Vending machine put out candy bars that expired in February 2025. Only reason we couldn’t go elsewhere was due to all the softball tournaments, concerts and All Star games. Do not stay here!!

Don't be fooled by their photos. This property is very dated and dirty. In the room there was paint peeling, dirty floors, dirty shower. The continental breakfast was coffee and cocoa puffs served from a gal ziplock bag. Everything else was from vending machines. The vending machine on 2nd floor was out of order. The other guests were loud and the sound travels. There was someone living in their car in parking lot.

My stay at the Motel 6 in Canton served it purpose. Nice safe area with lots of food and shopping nearby. The staff was wonderful and helpful! My room was clean but smaller then I expected. The lobby is sparse, no comfortable place to hangout.

Property was fine but they got my room wrong

Pleasantly surprised. Front desk was nice and efficient. Lobby is cold and uninviting. Room seems to be fine. 1 bed, compact but adequate. A/c works. Tv works, you can bathe instead of shower if you wish. No shampoos or lotions which I approve of because it keeps the price down.

I was needing a quick stay since we were only in town for a baseball tournament, but would never stay here again. The elevator smelled like cigarettes. Once getting off the elevator, the entire floor we were on smelled of urine. By the time we checked in, it was close to midnight, so not much we could do last minute. We made sure the bedding was clean/bug free. There was also quite a bit a noise very early in the morning, around 6am that didn’t resolve until after 7. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Despite numerous no-smoking signs, the building reeked of smoke the moment I walked in. The upstairs hallways smelled like mildew, and my room was in terrible condition—everything from the comforter and pillow shams to the towels was stained. The air was thick and muggy, . On top of that, it seems like people live there full-time, and it was extremely noisy all night with loud TVs and even fighting. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience and I would not recommend staying here.

Let's not talk about the roaches. I killed 3 in the room n one slipped behind the shower while I was showering. The refrigerator was noisy all night. I don't usually complain or write reviews and unfortunately under my circumstances, I could not go to another hotel.

Motel was not anything like in the pictures very dirty loud and did not feel very safe

We stayed for 7 nights while on vacation. After the 2nd day, we discovered several cockroaches in our room and bathroom area. We checked behind the vinyl trim on the floor and saw evidence of even more. We alerted hotel staff and they said they could have someone come spray the room and we asked for a different room. We were given a different room and checked it pretty thoroughly for bugs before moving our stuff into it. 2 days later, more bugs, albeit small ones and only 1 or 2 a day. We purchased roach bait to put in the room and made sure everything was sealed and closed up. Upon checkout, we once again notified staff about the roach issue. They didn’t seem too concerned, so it is my assumption that they are aware of it and spray every room upon guest checkout to attempt to address it. Would be fine if you are staying overnight, but anything more than a weekend, you can expect that you will probably have them in your room at some point.

Honestly…the most unsafe place and most disgusting room we have ever stayed in. I guess there is a reason this place is so cheap. I’ve stayed at many Motel 6 over the last 30 or so years and this one is by far the worst one I’ve ever been in.

The entire property is filthy and in disrepair! I had to clean my room in order to not come into contact with dangerous chemicals left behind from previous guests. The mattress was broken down, smoke detector was missing, all furniture was torn up, vomit on the wall, floor was sticky and coming up and no one on staff gave a damn about anything!

While there's nothing wrong with the facility the only drawback is the tweekers. When i arrived paramedics were tending to one and the one's remaining were yelling in the hall and the room next to mine all night.

Horrible, I stay away from the caliber of Motel 6 and Super 8 just because of this but I had no choice this time. The type of people that stay here are foul, rude, inconsiderate, and abusive, I could go on. Although there are no smoking signs on every room and in the hallways every floor reeks of smoke not to mention weed not just regular, nobody pays any heed to it. The stairwells smell like urine like somebody couldn't use the bathroom and used the stairway instead, and I'm about to call the cops on what I feel might be child endangerment, for Non-Stop crying and wailing not just normal child like cries but the sound of like a child being abused. I don't recommend this hotel,while the employees are nice and the housekeepers are very polite and accommodating but the overall upkeep and atmosphere is at best barely bearable.

On 2nd floor...floor wasn't sticky but found dead bug parts in bathroom sink. Live bug crawling on floor near the beds. TV remote wouldn't work, however the lady at the desk was kind and provided more batteries for remote then came up and programmed the remote and the tv then worked. The mattress was worn down on the side near the phone and felt like I was going to roll off bed. A dog in the room next door barked often and slamming door at the stairway made it hard to rest.

We were on the 4th floor and the elevator was broken. Many of the staircase banisters were broken/loose, and the bed was very hard. The room itself was quite spacious and the bartop area with sink was a nice touch. The floor was sticky with pine sap though, so we had to wear our shoes the whole time. It was fefinitely not the worst place we've ever stayed, but not the best either. I gove it a solid middle.of the road C.

I didn't like the fact that I didn't get to check in till 5:30 p.m. and I was there at 8:00 a.m. that was very very frustrating and come to find out after they told me they had no rooms the room that I got had been open for a couple of days so that room was not occupied that was very frustrating

The 3rd floor had bugs all in our room. We requested a different room and they did provide us a different room. The facility needs some work. And most definitely pest control!!

Most all the staff is good with the exception of a few and housekeeping does a wonderful job however we were on the 4th floor we are both handicapped and they're elevator after the fact that we were given our room quit working we got no assistance offered from the motel I tracked down some kid if it wasn't for him we would have never made it to our automobile and one thing that's really aggravating which everyone's stressed there's never anyone at the front desk especially at night so you have to stand there and you have to holler hello hello and then they'll be outside or come from somewhere else and if you needed to hurry and get back to your room or whatever so you just needed a room key you got to stand there and stand there and stand there that's frustrating

Supposed to be a smoke free room and Hotel....Boy do they lie. Our room smelled like an ash tray. We went to Walmart and bought some cleaner and air refreshner to help out. Lady at front desk offered a discounted rate but that never happened. If you can stay somewhere else I would recommend it.

Everything was great room wise. Had a lot of noisy kids running through the halls though late at night. Also, there is a leaky ceiling in the lobby area. I still have 4 stars because of the cleanliness of the room and comfort of the bed!

The check-in was awesome (pay that front desk woman more please). She even gave me an iron when asked for one. The only thing was the door to the room (right off the elevator), had a serious gap in it to the frame. You couldn't see inside the room (from the outside), but not by much. The walls aren't real thick either, because I heard the other room next to us. Other than that, all else was good for the price. Not sure I would book again, and just spend a little more for a different place. Served it's purpose though.

My husband and I have stayed here about 5 times. Its always been a friendly environment. This time I could tell a big difference in how clean the room looked and smelled. The night manager Charles was very friendly and helpful as was the morning manager . The only recommendation I would have is they need a coffee pot in the room or coffe longer in the lobby and more options for creamer and stuff. Other than that its worth the money.

The one thing i dont like is the differencein prices from a week day compared to weekend price . The price os almost double .

It doesn't matter if you stay in a non-smoking room because the staff allows smoking throughout the entire hotel. My room stunk, the beds stunk, everything in my suitcase smelled the next day. I mentioned it to the front desk attendant and he responded with "what can you do" I guess your job was out of the question. Guest parking isn't enforced here so homeless people and car campers filled the lot and I had to park elsewhere. The secondary exits were left propped open and homeless druggies were camping in the stairwell. I'm not sure what happened in the 3 years since I stayed here last but I will NEVER stay here again nor would I recommend anyone with kids or allergies or anyone worried about their general safety stay here.

BED BUGS WERE CRAWLING ON THE PILLOWS WHERE MY DAUGHTER AND I WERE SLEEPING AND WE LEFT IMMEDIATELY!!!!

No Microwave in room ice machine out of order chairs in room are horribly uncomfortable

I have never had a problem with motel 6 and the staff are always so understanding and friendly!!

Smelled like urine , dogs barked inside the building all night , two ladies argued over Mr Joes brown sheets he left at 4:30 am outside the doors. Says they offer free grab breakfast but it’s vending machines that aren’t free .
