Reviews
The hotel reviews are mixed, with some guests praising the cleanliness, comfort, and helpful staff, while others express dissatisfaction with noise, uncleanliness, and poor service. The majority of reviews, however, lean towards a positive experience.
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Helpful and friendly staff
- Noise from highway and other guests
- Uncleanliness in some rooms and common areas

Mold on ceiling. AC didn’t work. We had to get 2 different refrigerators. Stains on the floors. Stink bugs on the bed when we arrived. Very nasty place
- 5/5
One of the cleanest hotels and nicest staff
- 1/5
Not sure why it’s considered a suite either.
- 5/5
No complaints
- 5/5
Amazing staff!
- 3.5/5
Sorry about that last part just checked my account now its in there sorry aboit that last one.
- 4/5
We stayed for 2 nights. Rooms was clean and I would stay again. Looked like upgrades were in progress.
- 1/5
I liked the location and the front desk worker was helpful and kind. The lady from housekeeping was awful and rude. Very lazy in her approach and couldn’t be bothered. It reflects in the rooms cleanliness. The rooms smelled like smoke. I had 3 rooms and they all had terrible odors. We had dried up throw up in front of a refrigerator in one of them and the beds clearly had linens unchanged but beds just remade with them. Toilets had remnants still in them.
- 4/5
Very close to highway
- 2/5
special requests were done old furnishings and dirty
- 1.5/5
There was a mix-up with the type of room we meant to book and there were only two rooms available that met our needs. One had a bath that was out of commission, so that wouldn't work and the other had a television that didn't work. Fine, we took the room with the broken television. Turns out, the shower head was broken in that room, too. It was late, so we made it work, but not impressed. It is also right next to the interstate, so there was a fairly loud drone from cars all night long.
- 3.5/5
Close to the interstate The breakfast wasn’t very good not much of a selection. They didn’t keep up with the coffee.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean! Nice stay.
- 2/5
It was more like staying in a motel room. Not a family hotel.
- 5/5
Loved the staff, nice breakfast area, clean room. Comfortable bed, extra towels. No plug near the toilet area to put night light.
- 0.5/5
We had no TV the whole time we was there
- 2/5
This motel is more like an $80/night room. When I arrived it was raining and 43 degrees outside. The room was 58 degrees the heat was off completely. It did warm up quickly once I found the thermostat. Next, there was no remote in the room. I tried to call the front desk only to find the phone unplugged. Once I plugged it in and called the front desk it only rang and rang. So I went to the front desk the girl handed me a remote and said "this should work". It only powered on the TV and controlled the volume. By this time I am tired and decide to just watch my tablet. As I lie in bed I noticed the smoke detector is disconnected with only the wires hanging from the mount. Not happy with my stay for the money I paid. Very disappointed in this Best Western.
- 5/5
Close to soccer campus
- 5/5
Outdoor rooms but they can't help that
- 5/5
Nice and comfortable!

Room Parking
- 4/5
It's an OK place to stay. Our first no smoking room smelt like smoke and pretty bad in general. We were moved to another room without incident. The staff was very friendly.
- 2/5
Bathroom didn’t even have a toilet paper dispenser. Bathroom door was dirty. Room ceiling looked like it had a leak. Left prior to breakfast.
- 0.5/5
Overpriced for what we got
- 3/5
better air freshener. cleaner sheets, thicker curtains
- 2/5
The room was ok. The area around the rooms was very sketchy. There were people in their vehicles all night playing loud music.
- 1/5
Our room was in the back of the building, ground level, there was a lot going on in the parking lot and nearby rooms all night long. A vehicle sat outside our door with rap music playing all night. The area didn't feel safe, and would not stay there again.
- 5/5
It was clean and beautifully landscaped. Just a few minor repairs were left to do.
- 2/5
I don't really have any complaints about this hotel, it just wasn't anything special. The room was clean for the most part but I noticed that it didn't look like they were bothering to clean behind the bathroom door as the flooring there was really dusty. There were a few small things that could have used some maintenance, like some places on the wall and ceiling that could use some touch up paint, etc. The breakfast wasn't bad. They had scrambled eggs, sausage bagels, waffles, cereal, etc.
- 5/5
Price was right. Too close to interstate. Don't know if I'll sleep tonight.
- 2/5
T.v didn't work, cant control AC,
- 4/5
I like the convenience of the location which was most important for this particular trip
- 5/5
I like it everything
- 3/5
We stayed here one night before traveling the next day. It was close to where we needed to be to pick others up and it was much cheaper than other hotels in the area. The staff I dealt with was very pleasant. It was fine for one night. I was surprised that they had smoking rooms. We picked one of those as my husband smokes, but we were kind of sorry we did that. While it was convenient for him to be able to smoke inside, he ended up preferring to go outside as the room was just too small and it just ended up being too much. And of course the room smelled of smoke when we checked in. I mean not surprising as it was a smoking room, but in the end neither of us liked it. I will say that they did reach out to make sure that we did in fact want a smoking room. Also, the condensation from the mini fridge made the carpet in front of it wet.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast. Close to soccer fields and main roads. Couldn't figure out room microwave!
- 4/5
Comfortable bed, well lit, and felt safe.
- 4/5
Loved the breakfast. Property need more gabage bins outside.
- 5/5
Bed was hard
- 4/5
Pavon was very kind and knowledgeable about the area. Helpful with check in.
- 1/5
Looks are deceiving. Looks great on the outside and actually looks great on the inside at first. I'm not sure what was going on with the microwave or the hand rails in the bathroom. The staff was super friendly and everyone was very kind but for the price you pay for this one I never would've thought ever that I would find a roach. Period. We had stayed there a couple of years ago and it was nothing like this. We were definitely disappointed. I review every hotel I've ever been to and I have never left a negative review and it breaks my heart to but come on guys please fix it. Like why is the microwave on the floor? And roaches? When you pay almost $200 a night? Please just fix it
- 1/5
First, let me say RUN don’t walk! We pulled up and very shady people walking around the parking lot. We went in and asked to see the room and were showed 3 rooms all smelled very moldy and like cigarette smoke. We decided we definitely didn’t want to stay there, but unfortunately I booked online through Expedia and and they charged us anyway. Of course, Expedia could not help us with getting our refund. Hard, expensive lesson to learn!
- 5/5
The hotel itself was nice and clean. The inside of it was newer. Beds were comfortable. The area its in isn't the greatest but I've been to worse. Overall for the price compared to other hotels in the area it was worth it.
- 5/5
It was clean and nice.
- 5/5
Dinning and fuel convenient and about 2 miles down the road Walmart, Lowe’s, plenty of fast food and fuel
- 1/5
Checking-in was stressful, said we had 1room had booked 2 and had itinerary. Once in rooms saw mold in one, snot wiped on walls in other. Intentionally booked for pool, it was not usable. They did move us to new renovated rooms but trip was ruined.
- 2/5
I could not figure out how to switch the water to the showerhead, so I ended up not taking a shower
- 5/5
It was the best customer service I've had in a long time staying in hotels. Hotel was quite and clean outside. Rooms were neat and clean as well.
- 4/5
Good
- 4/5
Syper clean and super friendly staff
- 1/5
We did not stay and left the hotel immediately after checking in as the hotel condition was less than desirable and we did not feel safe. The exterior door to enter the room was unable to be secured and the interior metal door security stop had stripped screws and allowed us to push the door open easily. We requested a refund based upon safety concerns and were denied by the manager (the receptionist placed a call to him). Even though another room was offered, we could tell by the appearance of the hotel that it did not seem like a safe place to stay. We tried calling Hotels.com several times and while on hold each time the call was ended and disconnected. We have filed a dispute with our credit card company.
- 4/5
Very old hotel.
- 2/5
It was okay for an overnight stay. Unfortunately, the pool wasn’t open just yet. Also huge stains on the carpet, carpet had wet spots and crumbs. The bathroom had stains on the walls. There was a large space between where the front door closes where you could see outside. Also, the fridge smelled like moldy cheese and the microwave was dirty, my son also found trash under the beds. One positive the worker in the morning was very nice and helpful.
- 2/5
Dirty rooms, tv didn’t work, lady behind counter said she’d come fix it “in a few minutes” and never showed. Faucet leaked water on your feet. Won’t stay here again.
- 3/5
Breakfast Food was very bad. Not good enough to eat.
- 5/5
The staff very friendly and helpfully complimentary breakfast. And its very quite and safe Me and my husband just sold are property bought some land waiting on are trailer to be built we needed somewhere comfortable and convenient too stay this was a great choice thanks
- 4/5
Be aware all handicap rooms were upstairs on the second floor. They did have an elevator, but it broke an hour after I checked in so if you have disabilities, please ask before you rent a room.
- 5/5
Can hear the highway, but not that much
- 5/5
The staff were nice and the breakfast was good. The rooms were cozy and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast area has good coffee.
- 4/5
Check-in was easy, clean room and fast food restaurants within walking distance. The only thing we didn't care for were the showers. The shower was handicap accessible where as the shower floor and the bathroom floor were the same level. I wondered how with only a curtain the water wouldn't leak out onto the bathroom floor. It did! Not a lot but still a nuisance. I'm not sure if all of the rooms are like that or not? Other than that, everything else was fine and I wouldn't have a problem staying here again.
- 1/5
Overcharging for a Motel room
- 5/5
Great location to Walmart and I-75. Staff was very welcoming. Would stay again when visiting family in the area.
- 1/5
Window seal full of bugs...towels dingy bed sheets clean but spotty...bathroom tiolet seat cigarette burns...room didn't smell fresh...bathroom border filthy...glad we only needed the place for 6 hours for sleeping for road trip
- 4/5
The hotel has quick access to the freeway and the Chevron station is right next door.
- 2/5
Dirty, and maintenance definitely needs attention. Door had light showing through, fridge and microwave was dirty, shower was dirty. Shower head leaked, sink leaked. I was hoping for a great experience but it definitely fell short. When arriving to check in, the clerk was rather uninterested in wanting to help, as if I was an inconvenience to arriving, no manners or personality
- 5/5
The facilties were very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and ask if we needed anything to let them know. They also ask us how they could improve. To me, that was impressive and professional.
- 1/5
WREAKED OF SMOKE! They sprayed some weird air freshener to hide the cigarette smoke but that just made it worse. Rooms are all open to the outside so it’s more of a run down loud motel. Very loud interstate noise. Would never stay here again
- 4/5
Older hotel that has been renovated nicely. Road noise from expressway
- 3/5
The towels were on the small side and a little scratchy. The pillows were not very comfortable. Elevator seemed like was old and slow. The breakfast was ok .
- 5/5
From check in to check out I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
- 5/5
Suggest a room that doesn’t face the highway due to traffic noise. Otherwise, good option for overnight travelers.
- 3/5
Privacy
- 3/5
Overall the stay possessed all the basic needs we had. Due to the lack of control the property has over people smoking in, or near non-smoking rooms, it smelled horribly of old cigarette smoke for the duration of the stay. I believe the entrance way carpet to be the culprit. Overall the carpet was in need of replacement. Just dingy, though had been vacuumed.
- 5/5
Nice clean property. Staff were nice and professional. Would definitely recommend staying here
- 4/5
The young man who checked us in was very helpful.
- 4/5
Overall….nice. Tv was not working in room. So immediately gave us a new room… nice bed!!
- 2/5
The place says it has a pool, don't think it's been open since Covid. The non smoking room smelled like smoke. The walls and door were not sealed, vehicles on the interstate could be hear easily. Wouldn't recommend if it was free
- 4/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
Nothing overly outstanding.
- 2/5
There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door. The floor was not fully vacuumed. The check in employee was on a call while checking me in. I would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Staff went above and beyond to help me when my trip wasn’t going well.
- 5/5
The staff did a great job.
- 5/5
Good
- 2/5
The staff for some reason did not want to give extra towels I felt like I was bending over backwards for extra towels. The breakfast was terrible absolutely the worst I've ever had had to spit it out nasty food very nasty the room was okay though and the facility was okay will not stay there again though not for that money
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and accommodating
- 2/5
Poor quality breakfast Sheets smell
- 4/5
Clean
- 3/5
Decent value for older property with essential updates including fresh paint. The room was comfortable and clean and staff friendly. If you’re willing to spend more, you might be happier in a newer hotel but if this is your budget, it’s a nice hotel. No issues or major deficiencies.
- 3/5
Front desk staff at this hotel always lazy, preoccupied and unfriendly.
- 5/5
Easy access off I75. For what we needed, this hotel was fine. Clean room, comfortable bed, great TV and good breakfast. Only room available was a smoking room (I thought most hotels now are non smoking room), but smoke odor was minimal. Suggest Best Western gi to a no smoking venue in all of their hotels.
- 5/5
This was my family’s first stay at a Best Western and won’t be are last. The front desk was very helpful, our room was up to date and very clean.
- 4/5
Stopped here on route to our vacation destination. Just quick overnight stay to recharge and sleep before continuing on the next morning. Staff was courteous. Room was clean, with no major issues. They have a standard breakfast, with toast, bagels, sausage, eggs, ect. The only issue we experienced was there was a foul smell outside of the hotel. Not sure if it was the hotel, or one of the business next to it. Luckily we could not smell it inside our room.
- 3/5
The property was old and dingy. Needs to be rebuilt. Front desk clerk was not friendly and barely made eye contact.
- 5/5
No private drive-way share with service station
- 5/5
If anyone needs a stop over and your in the Cartersville Georgia area this is the place to stay. Very very nice people and property. They wash down the balcony once a week. Saw the owner/gm cleaning an a/c cover. Cleanest hotel I've stayed at in a long time.
- 4/5
Easy access from I-75. Food nearby.
- 4/5
Very friendly at check in.
- 5/5
The man manager at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay more pleasant. We ended up staying 2 extra days. The place is quiet in spite of the highway 20 nearby. The room was spacious. The manager fixed the toilet holder when we asked. The breakfast was fine. The manage is obviously a very kind man but also very professional, it is rare to feel so welcomed these days in a hotel. The price was right too. We will come again.
- 4/5
Very noisy.
- 5/5
The manager asked us several times if we were comfortable or if we needed anything. Very friendly and working hard to look after there customers.
- 5/5
Great and clean place to stay. Will definitely return again!
- 1/5
Just plain terrible! I’d rather sleep in my car at a truck stop! Noisy, ugly, and filthy breakfast area, including ants on the counters, but ants are what you expect when the place is covered with crumbs and syrup. Trash overflowing. Tables filthy. Staff just chatting with each other behind the counter in full view of the mess. Once, a staff person came over and pushed the trash deeper into the can, looked around, then WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS, straightened something by the coffee. Then she went back to her chat behind the counter. All this for around $250 for one couple. I will NEVER stay at any Days Inn again!
- 4/5
There were quite a few breakfast options even being a small breakfast area. My favorite go to item was their waffle station. The rooms were good for the price I paid daily. As far as cleanliness it could have been a little bit better. Overall the room was clean but there were some small details that were overlooked or missed. I chose a room with microwave and fridge which was very convenient and nice to have. I liked having the option to choose having them in my room. If I had to make another weekend trip out that way I would definitely stay there again.
- 3/5
It’s a nice motel that seemed to be recently remodeled. Clean and comfortable. I don’t like have rooms with no hallway. All rooms have an outside door. Everything worked well from the shower, to the bed to the HVAC, to the TV. There was no soap at the sink so I had to use the bath wash from the dispenser in the shower. There were also dispensers for shampoo & conditioner, but I got the last squirt of bash wash before I finished my shower. Breakfast was mediocre with a circles of scrambled eggs about the size of a kids burger at a FF restaurant. The TV was set to Fox Nooz and I was told they have to leave on that. Not sure if that’s an order from the local management or from Best Western. If it’s from BW, I will not be patronizing another one of their motels.
- 4/5
Easy for the night
- 2/5
Door opens to the outside and it was super loud.
- 4/5
Nice updates.
- 3/5
Not the greatest place. Noisy upstairs and from the road. Person at counter was on the phone the entire time during check in. Rude.
- 2/5
When I opened the room's door, I saw the bed in a complete mess, the room wasn't clean, nobody had cleaned the room! Very disgusting! I came back to the reception desk to show a picture of the disaster and asked to change the room!
- 4/5
Plenty of towels. Shower great!! Very comfortable room. Just a little noisy because of I 75
- 5/5
The staff is remarkable
- 5/5
Good prices, convenient location.
- 4/5
Worth the money. Had better breakfest at other best western hotels
- 3/5
We were on side near highway and gear traffic
- 3/5
Shower was broken and the beds were just ok but the price was good and the place was clean
- 4/5
Would come again
- 3/5
Room very noisy.
- 4/5
Rooms need more lights. It's too dark. Remote didn't work unless you were right next to TV. People next to us came in about midnight and I don't know if they had trouble getting in their room but it sounded like they were trying to get in ours. After they got in their room they had a baby that screamed for about an hr. Couldn't fall asleep.
- 4/5
I don't have any complaints.
- 5/5
Excellent for a value hotel. I never know what to expect in a value type hotel, but this exceeded my expectations. Very clean and modern room, nice AC, excellent TV, very comfortable.
- 5/5
A little noise with the highway close. Breakfast had good choices!
- 5/5
For the price it was a very nice quality hotel. The shower was a bit small but that's typical for hotels in general. The front desk associate that checked us in seemed a little irritated, but she was still helpful and was likely just tired from a long day of work. Overall I'd rate our experience a strong 4 out of 5 stars.
- 5/5
What a pleasant stay, finally!
- 5/5
All the basics, plent, helpful staff, comfortable
- 4/5
Nice comfortable mattress and comfy sheets. Overall a nice restful stay for a fair price.
- 2/5
The first thing walking inthe room we both commented that it smells like someone smoked in here and it was attempted to cover the smell with cheap air freshner. The bathroom needs a deep clean. Grime is in every corner- not just the grout. The toilet seat is not attached right. When you sit, the lid closes on you. The bathroom sink faucetis not installed right. Maybe a teenager who did not know what they were doing was practicing. Certainly no one checked to make sure it was installed correctly. Nwver had a faucet wiggle around like that. I did not expect much from a Best Western, but this is a demonstration of laziness and lack of pride. Pathetic....the beds were comfortable. The young woman at the desk was kind...the rest was not good.
- 5/5
This motel was definitely worth the money for the night. Bathroom had been redone and new carpet. Very clean, very quiet, breakfast was ok. I’d definitely stay again. The staff was very friendly.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 3/5
My hotel room was dirty. Bathroom was not cleaned.
- 5/5
Very clean
- 5/5
Room was great! Staff was great! Highly recommend staying there!
- 2/5
So smoke fills the walkway and hallways. Seems to be on par with the area, but definitely a Motel vibe.
- 5/5
Hotel was very convenient to Lakepoint and Cartersville. I normally do not stay in hotels with the doors connecting to the outside. But read the reviews of this place and it did not disappoint. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in town for a baseball tournament or Braves game
