Older property but very clean, cosmetic conditions don’t constitute cleanliness. Staff was amazing and rooms very clean

There were discarded bath tubs in the back parking lot near the exit. It was obvious from the debris around them that they had been there for a while. The room had fruit flies and staff stated there were no blankets for let out couch bed...neither were there extra pillows.

Customer service and soft pillows I did not like the size of the room. There was a hole in the ceiling in room 321. So, I requested to be moved to another room, and was moved to room 324. This room was a little bigger but horrible view. There were Cobwebs in the window. The cracked bathroom floor, came close to slicing my foot several times . The room was decent other than those issues. Although, I wouldn’t have paid $341.00 plus tax for two nights. Maybe $116.00 a night. The room was over priced for the location, poor view, small rooms, and outdated appliances and technology.

Was in town for sports for the family. Convenient location and decent continental breakfast. Could tell it’s going through some renovations, which is good when they’ll be done.

Called ahead of time to confirm pool was running and good to use. Got to hotel hours later and it was dirty and chlorine was off and my kids couldn’t swim as it was burning their eyes. Apparently the front desk had multiple complaints about it. Breakfast was good but the pool was to get some energy out for the kids and that didn’t work.
- 3/5
Just ok. Not worth the price point to us. Breakfast was disgusting. Internet kept dropping my stream. Bed was fine. Staff were nice. The wall near the air conditioner was in bad shape. We wouldn’t stay there again.
- 2/5
The rooms and hallways were in direpair and dirty. The elevator sounded like it was on its last leg, the room smelled aweful, the ac unit was very loud
- 5/5
Unfortunately while i was there my toilet broke. I informed the desk and they moved me to a different room immediately. Whenever I stay in Cartersville I will forever stay at this hotel.
- 2/5
The Cable box on the TV was not functional so I had no TV in my room. They told me that they could not reduce my room rate or compensate me because I used Hotels.com to book my room. This is unacceptable..

Check-in staff was friendly, room and building were clean

Clean room, friendly staff!
- 1/5
This hotel is outdated and poorly maintained. I saw a roach, which is unacceptable and suggests an ongoing pest problem. The microwave was rusted, and the room felt worn and neglected. The indoor pool was freezing cold, completely defeating the purpose of having an indoor pool at all. Overall, not a pleasant stay and definitely not worth the money.
- 2/5
This the staff was okay but the mattress and pillows was aweful. Like a rack or bed of nails. Webr to call the front desk about timing for breakfast only to find the phone reciever had been ripped out of the phone. Needless to say,we missed breakfast. Other guests were noisy and slamming doors. The elevator would shudder and sake as it came to the top floor and also when it came to stop on the ground floor. I would never stay there again.
- 3/5
Bathroom commode was loose from the floor and rocked when I sat on it. Needs lots of maintenance. I paid $112 per night for a room that rated $50. The breakfast sucks. Staff were pleasant. Bed was horrible but the room was clean.
- 2/5
Our room had partially pulled up carpet, loose tiles, dead bugs on the ceiling, live lady bugs crawling around, toilet not screwed down all the way, and yellow stains in the bathroom. I don’t recommend staying here.

They refused to honor my reservation because my home is within 15 miles. Outrageous
- 3/5
The room was dingy/dark. Outdated. Even tho the ceilings were high the people in the room above us could be heard clearly. No sound proofing at all.
- 4/5
Hotel needs to provide change for the laundry room
- 2/5
It was over priced! room available was for handicapped so it was terrible. NOt many restaurants in the area.
- 2/5
Dirty and outdated.
- 3/5
Room met what I expected for the price. Well lit parking lot and clean lobby. Room was humid / ac had issues keeping up...but it was hot and storming. Bed comfortable. Bathroom dated.
- 3/5
We were the last room on the hall right next to an exit door to the outside. People were coming in and out of that door all night letting it slam shut. It won’t up my whole family numerous times during the night.
- 3/5
Leak in the bathroom ceiling - there was water all over the toilet and floor during the middle of the night. Too expensive for what we received.
- 3/5
WiFi doesn’t work
- 5/5
Very good and fast
- 3/5
The room was freezing. The ceiling looked like it was peeling and getting ready to fall in. We asked for another room. They found another but did not have a walk in shower. We went to breakfast , almost no coffee and no one around to ask. No batter for the waffle maker. Very disappointed!!
- 1/5
Something kept biting me. The young lady took pictures of the flea I found crawling on me and offered me aloe. Unfortunately, I’m allergic to most antihistamines that would have helped. She said she’d have management contact me but never did. Place was pretty clean and staff were nice overall but no one wanted to address the flea bites and us having to leave super early on Monday even though we’d requested late check out.
- 1/5
Would not let us stay due to living within 50 miles of the hotel. This should have been brought up before booking.

Clean and friendly service
- 5/5
The staff at this hotel were super helpful and friendly. I extended my stay 3 times & the front desk was always accommodating. The room was so spacious and had a great feel and layout. The room was very clean.
- 5/5
Extremely helpful staff and the room was nice for one night. There were few issues with the room but nothing we couldn’t handle. Very thankful for the last minute availability
- 5/5
It wasn’t the cheapest hotel in the area, but it was very affordable and offered the best value in terms of comfort and cleanliness. The breakfast was your standard powdered eggs and a crockpot of instant sausage gravy for frozen biscuits. They had the obligatory “make your own waffles” station.. and the coffee was black. Nothing to write home about.. but.. you could do far worse. The people.. were great, and that’s what matters.
- 1/5
The hotel was falling apart. Entrance door wide open because lock broke.
- 5/5
Went here with my daughter room was clean and well air conditioned. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and good selection. When I came back from being out the room was cleaned well. I felt bad when I touched up my hair dye and left a need but the cleaning team was amazing and did a great job.

Unfortunately, pool was closed and the wi-fi was unavailable. Not only that, we had an emergency around 3:45 AM with smoke alarms sounding. Somehow a disturbed person entered the Inn and proceeded to the upper floors. He pulled out a fire extinguisher and sprayed it everywhere. We had to evacuate with wet towels over our faces and wait in car until fire crews allowed us to return to our rooms. At least the manager returned half of our payment.
- 2/5
Booked specifically because this hotel had an indoor pool; however, the pool was closed due to no license. Needless to say, disappointed grandkids when they found out about it. Felt they should have noted this closure on their website or at the time of booking.
- 3/5
Our room had bed bugs. We requested a new room and they gave us one without a fight. The new room seemed to be bed bug free but was still a bit dirty over all

Breakfast was great! Bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bagels, waffles with sugar free syrup. The room was big and nice big bathroom. NO LAKE VIEW FROM THIS HOTEL.

Quick trip to Catersville, GA. This hotel was clean and comfortable. Very pleased with the breakfast as well. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Clean and safe place.

TVs Didn't work properly and only affered a few channels. Door to bedroom wouldn't close.. area outside window needs cleaned up. All in all I would stay again though.
- 4/5
Close to where we needed to be for our events. Hotel room and breakfast was good. Pool area could use some work.
- 5/5
Nice an clean
- 5/5
Shower dripping
- 2/5
The tile in our bathroom floor was never grouted so it is cracking it spots leaving it not safe to walk on, especially for children.
- 3/5
The hotel in general needs a better maintenance and upgrades. I think I stayed in room 105. The sofa bed needs a replacement. Please. That is a must to do. The mattress is very stained and flat. And the upholstery is very dirty also. The TV in the room is very small and the night stands needs a hand of barniz.
- 5/5
Room was clean and modern decor, pool water was comfortably warm, great breakfast variety and helpful staff.
- 3/5
The hotel was conveniently located in a rainstorm area off the expressway. Got a room which was more expensive that it should have been. Needs a handyman to fix some loose fixtures in the bathroom. The pool was not clean. Would not stay there again.
- 4/5
Rooms needed more lights.
- 1/5
I don't normally give ratings. This hotel had gnats, broken dresser drawers that did not close. It had the feel of a hotel used to house the homeless. There was a door on my hall that looked kicked in. The front desk person only responded in yes/no when I asked about anything
- 2/5
The bathroom door was coming out from frame and it wouldn't close. Phone in the room was broken and there was a roach in the room.
- 4/5
The property was under construction, but was still quiet. Modern, clean decor and a pretty well-stocked breakfast offering. There were retractable shades over the windows instead of the usual curtains, which allowed for absolute darkness with the room darkening side and filtered light with a sheer one. The pillows are very comfortable, but the bed was a bit stiff for my taste. The staff was friendly enough, but not attentive as I tried to call for towels once and a do not disturb sign another time and there was no answer either time. Housekeeping was very friendly. The pool was warm and fairly clean. The property wasn’t the cleanest, but not disgusting or filthy. All things considered, I would stay here again.

Rude staff.
- 5/5
Peaceful and relaxing.
- 1/5
When I walk in the building was under renovation. The ceiling tile in the library was down so I decided not to stay.

The people
- 1/5
This property has very few parking areas. Had to wait to check in. No one at the desk. Breakfast buffet was terrible. I have stayed at other comfort inns none are like this
- 3/5
This hotel is being renovated so hopefully it gets better. But the door handle was falling off the bathroom door. The hot and cold water for the sink was plumbed backwards. The shower offered only 2 temperatures, ice cold or lava, I think the shower handle was broken too. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very nice so ultimately I would give this 3/5.
- 5/5
Clean. Great breakfast
- 2/5
The photos for this hotel are like catfish photos. The amount you pay for a night here is absolutely not worth it! There was graffiti on our bathroom sink. It took all night for our room to heat up from 61°F to 63°F. We froze. The room was dusty and dirty.
- 5/5
Very clean hotel and quite. Beds comfortable. Suite very roomy. Love that it had 2 TVs.
- 5/5
The people were very pleasant, the place was clean, price was fair and the breakfast was delicious.

Staff is so nice and helpful. Love the pool!

If you're considering staying here - I urge you to consider booking somewhere else.
- 1/5
We were refused service by the hotel because we live within a 50 mile radius!
- 2/5
Toilet was loose from the floor. Turned the heat on and the smoke detector immediately went off. Broken stairwell door that slammed every time someone used it. No decaf coffee in the morning. Not that clean. I definitely won’t stay there again.
- 5/5
Ok
- 3/5
My bathroom was NOT clean. It was black stuff on the wall and bathroom door. Reported to staff and nothing happened. Also a room key was given to my friend by him just telling them my name and the room number. This is disturbing that the staff didn’t seek my permission first. When asked about the situation no one seemed to care. What if he wanted to come back and hurt me later? I was not even informed that the key was issued by staff. Terrible policy to give out keys that easily to someone not listed during booking. My safety was not a priority
- 5/5
They are doing renovations but it was still very comfortable
- 5/5
Great stay! Rooms have recently been remodeled with new fixtures, etc. Outside is currently being renovated and hotels looks rough from outside. Would have been nice to know that hotel is currently under renovation.
- 3/5
This property is under heavy construction so the grounds have construction materials everywhere. The entire 3rd floor smelled like paint, there were bags of trash throughout the hallways outside of rooms, the ac unit was super loud…we stay at a lot of hotels and sometimes you just get unlucky.
- 3/5
Overall a lot of the hotel was in disrepair the room was clean but for the amount of money we spent I expected a cleaner environment
- 1/5
We were not happy with this hotel! We paid $250 a night and it was not clean and there were very little amenities. We were in a non smoking room that smelled like someone had been smoking. Bathroom floor was unclean and staff was limited. For that amount of money there should be nicer accommodations.
- 3/5
They are renovating so it is getting better
- 2/5
When I first came in the room the air wasn’t working, I killed a roach in the room and the toilet made a lot of noise. The carpet was stained
- 5/5
The hotel was a nice stopping point in a long drive. I enjoyed the pool on the night of arrival and before departure. The suite was large and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and included.
- 3/5
I think this will be a very nice hotel once construction is done and they are fully staffed. Our family checked in to two rooms, and one of the rooms had not been cleaned, so the staff had to give us a different room. The other room was clean but did have loose tiles on the bathroom floor and a moldy shower curtain. The staff also gave someone else our room around 11pm because another family had a card to open our door and said that the hotel told them it was their room. Thankfully, we had the safety latch in place so they didn’t actually come into our room. The pool area was fairly basic and our kids enjoyed it, but the smell of chlorine was so bad we ended up leaving the pool because our eyes were hurting. Breakfast was the highlight of our stay and was delicious with many good options for everyone. The mattresses in the rooms were also fantastic. I slept the best I ever have in a hotel.
- 4/5
Stay was great was not to happy with the comforters had stains and the covers were white. But without that it would’ve been a great stay.
- 2/5
Our room had dirty towels from the previous people. Toilet paper was sitting on top of the toilet. (Dispenser broke) cabinet holding the refrigerator and microwave was broken. Overall dirty feel to the room.
- 5/5
Our stay was comfortable after checking in close to midnight. My only complaint was rm305 toilet needed to be bolted down. It rocked really bad when seated.
- 3/5
Wasn’t very clean!
- 1/5
Initially the hotel was refusing my family’s a stay in the hotel because we live within a fifty mile radius. Room had holes in the walls, telephone did not work, bathroom had dirt on the bathroom door, floor, and dresser. Towels were dirty, no manger available to address these concerns.
- 1/5
One word..... Horrible! The room was not cleaned. The bathroom had hairs in the tub/floor and sink. The mini fridge had ice frozen all inside it. On top of these things, the door to the outside parking lot did not lock at all. So anyone could enter the building at any time of the day or night. The walls are very thin. We heard everything going on in the room next to us....all night long!! And then my biggest issue is the fact that this hotel is pet friendly and I totally get that for those who have pets but they need to make sure to place pets all on one floor that does not include guests with no pets! We heard dogs barking ALL night long from a few doors down the hall. Needless to say we didn't get any sleep which made traveling rough the next morning! I did go to the staff about the door not locking but just got told that they couldn't do anything about it and for me not to worry because they had cameras. In my eyes, they don't know who is a guest and who isn't because they are not there when all guests check in. Tried to explain this but got told to call management if I didn't like it. I have been trying to call the number they game me several times but haven't been able to reach anyone. For what I paid for this room for one night, I feel we should have had a way better experience and will not book with them again in any State! The only half good thing I can say is that they had an ok (not great) breakfast.
- 3/5
There was a Bible on the table that was sticky. 1 remote for 2 tvs. Water damage all over the ceiling of the room. The beds weren't bad. There's no way I'd look under one though. Plenty of space for the family. Not somewhere I'd stay more than a night. The breakfast was typical.
- 2/5
The property was somewhat dated. The carpet was extremely dirty. We booked the room as an overnight to have access to the swimming pool. The pool was covered in a white film which we decided was not sanitary to swim in. We ended up leaving a couple hours after checking in. ☹️☹️☹️
