The room was spacious and comfortable. Everything is immaculately clean. There are snacks and coffee in the dining area. Everything is self-serve as there isn’t anyone running the place in the evenings. Everything is well laid out and all of the instructions easy to follow. And of course there’s staff in the daytime as well as someone to call. It’s a working winery which was fun to be around.

A lovely quaint place to stay with great wine and kind staff - would absolutely recommend. Most rooms additionally have a separated sitting room away from the bedroom which is a nice thing to have. Plus the ground are gorgeous and wandering around at sunset is amazing!

What a gem! We came to visit family living locally. We arrived mid-week for a one night stay and we immediately regretted not booking at least one more night. We practically had the place to ourselves the morning we awoke, and it was delightful. We sat on the patio with our cups of coffee and a slice of the fresh baked chocolate chip loaf available for guests in the morning. We luxuriated in the view, the men working in the vineyards nearby and the majesty of the mountains in the distance. Honestly, the online photos do not do this property justice. It’s charming. Yes, there are things that are quirky, like an electrical socket near the floor in the bathroom with directions to find the extension cord, but the property is old. Well, maintained, mind you, but the architecture is a part of the charm. Don’t miss out. This place is worth a visit. We’ll be back for sure.

Charming vintage winery with great history and lovely rooms. The Syrah suite was clean and comfortable. The sunrise in the morning was spectacular. The tasting room is directly below the suite and can be loud but closes around 7 during the week. I don’t think I would stay here during an event unless I was participating in the event. So check the calendar first if noise is an issue for you. The grounds are wonderful and there are many spots to sit and enjoy. At night the terrace is lovely with the fires going. We played a bit of pickleball as well. Highly recommend with the caveat of checking for events first if noise is an issue for you.

Beautiful location, spacious rooms and just a great place all around. The staff that I did encounter were very helpful and nice. Also very quiet if you want a spot to get away and just enjoy peace.

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy life. Excellent service at the wine bar. The room was comfortable, clean and overall exceeded expectations.

This stay was terrific! Such a lovely ambiance in the public and private spaces. Loved the tasting library, where I enjoyed noshies in a cozy chair while reading a book before luxuriating in my Sequoia suite. Highly recommended.

What a breathtaking location and property! We didn’t want to leave! We loved our room which had beautiful light and views. We were visiting for Thanksgiving and the Inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays with a roaring fire in the main room. We loved the resident cat Henry who always greeted us. Our welcome from the owners was warm and welcoming as well. Thank you for a great stay and for making our holiday truly special.

The kind of place you go to and never want to leave! I stayed in the Sequoia Suite and it was the absolute most beautiful room! The bed is super comfy, the views are fantastic! This is such a unique and special place. The family that owns it and the staff are wonderful and they make delicious wines as well! Highly recommend staying here!

Beautiful property!!! Great Syrah with a view!!! Everything we needed and more!
- 5/5
It was great but a few in room amenities would be nice.
- 5/5
It was beautiful property next to a vineyard. Live music and wine. The patio views were breathtaking and the rooms were large, clean and comfortable.

Stunning place! Really lovely room with great views. Highly recommend.

Hummingbird Estate is a fabulous place to stay as well as to drink wine. I cannot give them enough praise.
- 5/5
What a lovely place! Beautiful scenery, friendly staff in a one hundred year old estate. We had a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful grounds and the bedroom view was breathtaking. I will be going for another visit.
- 5/5
Fabulous, totally unique place. Like a blend of the best of Oregon and European vineyard atmosphere. The rooms are really true suites, with a sort of alpine wood style, very rustic and nostalgic. Comfortable, quiet, stunning views, and staff who will take the time to chat and share local recommendations. They make delicious wine of their own, especially the Pinot and White Blend. I really hope to stay here again!
- 5/5
We have stayed here a couple of times & always enjoy our time at Hummingbird Estate Wine & Suites!
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our stay. We didn’t make it in time to enjoy the tasting room but we were able to call ahead and have wine delivered to our suite. The room was clean and spacious. The views from the property are amazing. We definitely plan on staying in the future.
- 5/5
The view was incredible!
- 5/5
This is hands down the cutest property i or my partner have EVER stayed at. We were the only ones in the entire 5 bedroom hotel, we got two free cans of wine with the room. Oh my gosh, we are so coming back.
- 5/5
This is a lovely property. We thoroughly enjoyed our room and all the views of the beautiful vineyards and vistas across the valley. The wines and beers available in their tap room were delicious. The barn cat, Henry, was very friendly and hospitable too. There is no TV in the room, which is perfect for me.
- 5/5
Beautiful and quiet.
- 5/5
Beautiful property inside and out.
- 5/5
Staying right on a vineyard was great. Home made muffins and yogurt for breakfast, great
- 5/5
A charming historical and unique location in a lovely setting that anyone would find refreshing. Would love to come across more places like this in our travels. A real gem.Definitely recommend and would certainly stay again.

The Hummingbird Estate was lovely. The setting was beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean and the gardenias were in bloom and smelled exquisite.
- 5/5
Absolutely perfect!
- 5/5
Quaint estate with unique suites and beautiful grounds! The room was spacious with a comfy bed and a lovely view.
- 5/5
Quiet, safe and peaceful! Beautiful grounds
- 5/5
Loved this place and will definitely be back
- 5/5
Wonderful place! We loved that it was quiet with a beautiful view, and most importantly, they didn't use any artificial scents. The power went out so for anyone with medical devices that require electricity, that could be an issue.
- 5/5
Wonderfull time here, photos do not do this beautiful place justice. the view from our Syrah Suite was overlooking yard, vineyard and valley below, with view of sunrise, and the Medford city lights at night. Such an easygoing place, no one checked us in, or out, we just followed directions to our room which was waiting for us with a key., We enjoyed the complimentary wine tasting, purchased their charcuterie option to go along.. Morning coffee bar with muffins, fruit and yogurt was sufficient, Coffee was Keurig machine, but it was all self help and easy- had the place to ourselves in the morning- enjoyed drinking our coffee on patio overlooking vineyard and valley, cuddling with Henry the onsite kitty, and watching the hummingbirds enjoy the flower gardens . Would absolutely come back here again.
- 5/5
I highly recommend spending some time at Hummingbird Estate Wine & Suites. It is a very charming winery and Inn, they have done an amazing job with the rooms. The staff is outstanding and the grounds are gorgeous. We had a great time and will be back.
- 5/5
Clean and quiet. Only 5 suites above the tasting room.
- 5/5
Classic historical house in wine country with beautiful views. Close to Jacksonville for dining options.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay very much. Stayed in Pinot Noir room, the smallest at the property however plenty of room for 2. Bedroom: bed comfortable, view great, sitting room and bathroom spacious. Wine staff provided complementary glasses of vintage wine and view from veranda wonderful panorama of vineyards was enchanting. Must refute prior comment that hummingbirds were scant. We were treated to about 10-15 colorful hummingbirds feeding at the hummingbird fountains and the experience was facinating. Only minus was steep and narrow room access was a challenge for any mobility ADA challenged patrons.
- 5/5
Fantastic winery inn with all thoughtful details and comforts. Amazing historic house with wine tasting room, dining room and huge patio overlooking vineyards and hills. Wonderful landscaping and walking paths.
- 5/5
Amazing experience at this winery. The owners and staff are very friendly. The suite is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Includes a living room area that is very romantic. Ideal spot for couples retreat or a single individual looking for some relaxation time. It is so quiet at nights I actually sleep like a baby. The wine rooms are so cozy with wood burning fireplace. Loved the wine shots. The patio overlooks the vineyard. The view!!! The view!!! The view!!! I am so thankful that I experienced a clear day to be able to see the sunrise and clear views of Mt McLoughlin. Well worth the trip!!!
- 1/5
God awful!! First night it was our wine experience closed and an owner that needed to get away for whatever!! 2nd night of our wine experience I was told I could buy a $14 glass of wine while all the way smellling milled wine. What a total disappointment. I tried to send a letter asking for at least an apology…but NO!! GOD AWFUL!! JUST DONT GO!!!!!

The people are great and the stay was amazing, secluded and the view was amazing.
- 5/5
Beautiful area.
- 5/5
We will return!
- 5/5
I mainly came here for the scenery only. It's a beautiful place and therapeutic.
- 5/5
We loved the drive up the lane, greeted by a buck and a doe, as well as a rabbit. Sort of like a bambi experience. The vineyards are lovely and the Malbec is quite nice. Gentle flavor with a long finnish and hi ts of plumb and spice.
- 5/5
Majestic place
- 2/5
Our stay at this place was ruined when my husband took a bad fall on the hard tile in the middle of the night looking for the bathroom. You have to step down two steps to get to the bathroom which is hard to remember when you’re not familiar with a place and you’re groggy from sleep. I had left a light on in the bathroom because I was worried about the steps but one of my kids accidentally turned it off when they went to the bathroom in the middle of the night. The steps are a hazard and I can’t imagine that my husband is the only guest to fall there. It cost $361 to stay here for one night and despite all the character, wasn’t worth it with a hazard like that in the room.
- 5/5
Very serene property. Comfortable bed, spacious room, beautiful views from our windows. Being on a vineyard gave the rare opportunity to have a tasting room available with lots of seating options. Due to the extreme heat during or stay we did not use the patio but it was certainly inviting. Our server for tasting turned out to be Megan, the GM and owner! She was a delight and only made our visit more memorable. And they also brew their own excellent beers! We will definitely return.
- 5/5
Wow! What a gorgeous and serene place with so many fun options for relaxing activities! Gorgeous property and the suites are amazing. The local town is beautiful with friendly people and amazing food and drink and shopping options!
- 5/5
Beautiful vineyard historic home and suite! Enjoyed the venue, the wine, the food, amd the music!
- 5/5
Almost 100years house is so pretty
- 4/5
Was missing a few minor amenities like Kleenex and a bath mat in the shower that would have made it even better but would recommend.
- 2/5
We rented the cottage. Apparently, unlike ANY of the other units, it did *not* include breakfast and did *not* include tastings. When I asked for clarification, they explained “the cottage is more AirBnB than B&B”. Unlike other units, we were asked to take out the trash. Huh?That should be clear in their advertising. Finally, while cottage is very comfortable, it’s not very clean. At surface level, it was generally pretty. However. Other people’s hair were in both showers, under the shampoo, conditioner & soap bottles, on bath towels and pillow cases. Also, one bathroom had zero hand soap & the other bathroom’s hand soap was messy & sticky. Totally unahppy, unfortuately.
- 4/5
The property is gorgeous and our room was unique and spacious. The staff was warm and welcoming. And the breakfast was yummy. As far as privacy though there was a gap under our door so we could hear everything in the hall as well as the walls being paper thin because we could hear our neighbor coughing. It sounded like they were in the same room as us.
- 5/5
Beautiful and peaceful setting to relax, yet close to Medford and other nearby towns. Views of mountains, vineyards and horses.
- 5/5
Excellent stay. Like going wine tasting and then going to your hotel suite! Couldn’t ask for more except I would like to have a mini fridge to keep wine or water cold. Other than that, incredible!
- 4/5
Fantastic ambiance, territorial views. The grounds were wonderful.
- 5/5
We enjoyed a weekend away with friends. The property is well cared for with a nice layout and amenities. They are also a winery with high quality wines and beautiful settings to wine taste. This property is located close to restaurants, shopping and wineries.
- 5/5
What a beautiful Inn ! We had only planned a one night stay here but quickly reserved another night as this is a very special place. Very attentive staff and the rooms are fabulous. Their wine is also highly recommended.
- 5/5
Beautiful property and gracious staff!!! Quiet and many nature areas to enjoy!!! We will be back!!!
- 5/5
Extremely beautiful property. Room is lovely. Area is perfect. Many restaurants and shops nearby. I would love to come back here someday. We initially only reserved one night but when we got here and discovered how gorgeous it was we immediately booked a second night.
- 3/5
We booked the Pinot Noir suite based on the Hotels.com description of "vineyard view" vs the "courtyard view for the Syrah suite which was the other available room. The view was actually mostly obscured by the roof over the patio immediately below the suite. (We later saw the Syrah suite which had no such obstruction and in fact had a vineyard view.) The shower was small and awkward with a built-in corner seat. We arrived on time for our 9 am breakfast and were given food that seemed to have been prepared and plated at least a half-hour earlier: two small corn tortillas with a dab of black beans, cooked-to-death fried eggs (hard, chalky yolks) topped with maybe a teaspoon of salsa and a sprinkle of cotilla cheese. This was the lamest B&B breakfast we have ever had! The one staff person never returned to ask if we had any issues with the food. We did see several other suites before we left and they were beautiful, so I would suggest booking any of the others but not the Pinot Noir. We enjoyed the wine on the patio.
- 5/5
Beautiful house and landscaping with lovely views. Delicious wines. Friendly staff
- 5/5
Not a fan of the vegan breakfast.
- 5/5
Beautiful property, the rooms have a wonderful charm to them. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Beautiful room and grounds
- 5/5
Hummingbird Estates Wine and Suites was a romantic get-away. The room (Pinot Noir) was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. The property overlooks an amazing view. Definitely a find!!
- 5/5
Bed was super comfy. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Although our stay was only one night our room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate. Be sure to walk the grounds. Sit on the deck and enjoy the hummingbirds. That’s the true “secret sauce” of the property.
- 5/5
Came onsite after check in hours. Instructions upon our arrival were simple. Very cute estate. We were greeted in the morning at the time of our requested breakfast at the location we preferred (our suite, you can also choose terrace or breakfast area I think). Room was clean. I saw a review that mentioned no amenities like shampoo, soap were provided, but we had all that we needed in our suite!
- 5/5
Beautiful location! Nice and quiet. Lovely scenery. Actual hummingbirds everywhere. Tennis courts were fun.
- 1/5
This was a terrible experience. We actually left and did not stay. No one to greet you .. person I found was rude.. there was no amenities in the room.. stairs to the room were too steep for me to climb.
- 5/5
Beautiful property in beautiful spot with a great staff
- 5/5
Easy check in and entry. The estate is wonderfully kept and very peaceful and serene. The staff are friendly and engaging. Nice breakfast with specialty scones. Planning on going back for sure!!!
- 5/5
This property needs some work. The weeds in the garden area are huge and they use the outdoor area as a storage location for many large unsightly items.
- 5/5
It was peaceful until their was an outdoor fitness class with blasting music for an hour. Then after the class was a mixer of wine, cheese and cracker time. 😂
- 5/5
Absolutely wonderful stay! HE is so charming! The rooms, the tasting room, and the outdoor spaces. Nice staff, easy check in and fabulous wine. Can't wait to come back and stay here again.
- 5/5
This is a wonderful place! It has been preserved with care and nurtured with thoughtfulness. We immediately felt at ease. We were able to spend a lot of time talking about wine and happily, able to buy a selection. We'll be back.
- 5/5
Great stay. Beautiful property with views of the vineyard and mountains. Delicious breakfast out on the terrace. Comfortable room. Quiet. Had some wine out on the terrace with entertainment.
