Clean room, staff was great.

Excellent customer service and an exceptionally friendly staff made our visit a pleasure from start to finish. The space is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully decorated to complement the charm and history of the inn. The meat pies from the bakery were absolutely mouthwatering—an absolute must-try. And the electric bicycles they provided were the icing on the cake—a perfect addition for exploring such a beautiful area.

We love staying here. We were in room 12, which is upstairs in the back. Cute quiet, clean extremely historic feeling. We will be back.

Stunning bit of history. Wonderful and beautiful Inn

Beautiful room! The flowers were a great touch! Everyone was so nice. Excellent location. Yummy drinks and food! I can't think of anything we didn't like!
- 5/5
A lovely old Victorian. Our room was big and the bathroom nicely updated. It even had a great little sitting room off the bedroom and a nice electric fireplace. The coffee machine in the pantry was a treat. For the price for the night a voucher for the bakery on property for a light breakfast would have been fitting. The first bathrob I put on had not been washed..ugh! The 2nd one was fine though.

This property is rich in antiques and furnishings Beautifully decorated The shower dribbled water and had no handrails. The low flow shower should be taken off and replaced with a full flow hand held. Had rails should be installed for older folks insecure on their feet.

Lovely place to stay in Jacksonville. Even though it’s on the main street in town it’s quiet and comfortable. Their pantry is nice but wished the fruit flies were under control. The “B” team were on duty over the holiday week. No one greeted us. No one answered the phone number we were given in case there was an issue. We were told the pub would be open or we would receive the code to get the keys to the room. Neither happened. Same when we checked out. They’re a bit conservative on the amount of TP in the room. We received only one replacement roll. We plan to stay again but we’ll be certain to get a code and ask for more TP upfront. The first time we stayed the staff were great, happy hour was nice and the food in the pub was yummy.

This place is so dialed in. A bespoke historical hotel with a little bit of everything including an onsite pub and bakery.
- 5/5
The room was absolutely adorable, clean, with beautiful decor. It’s a historic home yet has all the amenities of a well run hotel. We expected the walls to be thin BECAUSE it’s a historic home but were surprised with how quiet the home was. The bed was so soft and we slept the best we had out of multiple resorts that we have stayed on during our road trips. We noticed little touches here and there such as fresh flowers, water in our room, the glasses with the coasters and it made us feel welcomed. It was a great experience that I would be more than happy to repeat when we are back in the area.

Quality furnishings They advertise check in 3-6 pm but then text me to say lockbox after 5 pm …also saw no one the next morning even at 9 am…part of the charm of a « house » stay is the personal touch, which was missing. Also informed that my original request for a specific room has changed to a « upgrade »

LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT ♥️
- 5/5
It was perfect and romantic. No complaints! It’s also within walking distance to the Britt.

A very lovely and charming Inn. The staff is very welcoming and super friendly. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was very comfortable too! We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Highly recommend if you’re in the area.

I LOVED THE PROPERTY AND EVERY LITTLE DETAIL. This is one of my favorite properties I have ever visited. The decorating is so beautiful. Everything but the tv was wonderful. :-) The TV in room 16 didn't work. I couldn't get it to turn on. There were no instructions how to use it and I'm not an idiot, so I don't believe the TV was working and/or there was an issue with the TV controllers.
- 5/5
Excellent experience. Everything. The historical building etc.
- 5/5
The town of Jacksonville is lovely also. A very nice place to visit.
- 4/5
Lovely place. It being in downtown was perfect. We were able to walk to all restaurants and bars. Lovely small bar in the Inn and wonderful staff. We’ll be back.
- 5/5
We just spent a mother daughter night there and it was wonderful place to stay. The property was beautiful and the owners/operators were so friendly and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was great.Would definitely stay again..
- 5/5
Loved all of it Nothing
- 5/5
From the property owner to every employee, the experience was fabulous. We we automatically upgraded to a beautiful room, the entire inn was immaculately clean. We were also impressed with Jacksonvilleitself. It is a beautiful, charming little. Although there are a few other inns in Jacksonville, we wouldn't consider staying anywhere else. We will be returning to Jacksonville and will stay nowherevelse. I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading this review do so, as well.
- 5/5
We have stayed at McCully House multiple times and absolutely love it. The staff, bar and bakery are to die for. Rooms especially 14 are clean and comfy. Thank you for always making our stay pleasurable!
- 4.5/5
Beautiful historic rooms restored so they were functional with modern electricity, plumbing, and luxurious bed, comforters, and furniture. You wouldn't know the building was from the 1800s, except for the beautiful wood floors and high ceilings throughout. On site parking was great. The coffee in the inn common room was bitter, even though whole bean. The breakfast next door at the Inn bakery was Scottish pastry, which frankly looked a bit heavy, and wasn't our taste. There is an excellent coffee shop around the corner at the end of Main Street . There are several good restaurants in town.
- 5/5
Our first time at McCully House but definitely won’t be our last. Brenda gave us a lot of great tips on Jacksonville and was an awesome host.
- 5/5
McCully House Inn is a gem!! This property is absolutely beautiful, plenty of outdoor areas to enjoy, along with comfortable seating in the lounge. Beds are extremely comfortable, the guest pantry is the best— everything you need for morning coffee and tea. We will definitely be back soon!
- 4.5/5
The staff is wonderful, highly responsive and attentive to needs. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Recently opened a bakery, which was also outstanding!
- 5/5
This beautiful Victorian inn was absolutely beautiful. Location wise , it was exactly what we wanted. To be able to walk to the downtown, site see and go out to dinner. On a busy street, but , you did not hear a thing. The room was big, comfortable, as was the bathroom. Bed was sooooooooooooo comfortable, sheets, pillows, all. Loved the breakfast niche, we grabbed a piece of fruit and had wonderful coffee from a fabulous coffee maker. Hmmm. That we had to leave
- 5/5
What's not to like. The grounds and room were beautiful. The rooms were so quiet. Loved that there was a pantry for snacks and breakfast.
- 5/5
it was one of the best stays we have had. the room we had was excellent, it had all amenities you could ask for. we will go back again and this will be the only place we will stay, loved it

We came to Jacksonville for one night for a concert at the Britt and couldn't be happier about our stay at McCully House Inn. The property itself is very unique...very cool historical details (like the old well they found during a remodel that you can look down from near the lobby area). The inn is located near the end of the main road through town as easily walkable (it took us about 7 minutes to walk to the Britt). Our room was lovely...spacious with windows on two sides that provided a lot of light but also had enough tree cover to provide some privacy. Fresh flowers in the room when we checked in and loved the homemade granola in the pantry area. Our only regret was that their new bakery, which is located right next to the Inn, wasn't open on Monday/Tuesday when we stayed...menu looked fantastic and sounds like it is a fairly new venture. Hoping to make this an annual tradition and we will certainly be back!
- 4.5/5
Room was clean and bright. Bed was comfortable. Amenities were minimal and coffee machine died just before I got my morning coffee.
- 5/5
The Inn was very comfortable, spacious, beautiful and the owner was warm and welcoming. The staff was also very helpful and attentive. Although it is in an old home it still felt very private and restful. The property is impeccably maintained. We will definitely stay again in the near future.
- 4/5
Didn’t eat breakfast. The coffee machine did not work so we made drip coffee instead, which was fine.
- 5/5
It’s beautiful!
- 5/5
From the well stocked guest pantry to the interesting history of the inn to the beautifully appointed room to the friendly service - I could go on and on - everything was just wonderful!
- 4.5/5
The bed was too soft. The sink is located in the closet, which feels incredibly cramped and there is no window. Everything in the pantry except for the fruit has high sugar content, so if one is on a restricted sugar diet, there is nothing to eat.
- 5/5
Beautiful, historic inn with loads of charm. Stunning gardens and great amenities (e-bikes, bikes, 24hr pantry, and gym passes). Modern amenities. Highly recommend!!!
- 5/5
The property is a beautiful place with lots of charm. The location is very close to downtown restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed our stay and plan to return sometime soon again.
- 5/5
Quaint Inn with the backdrop of Oregon history. Great staff and easy “no hassle” check in and out experiences. Highly recommend!
- 5/5
Great location, beautiful historical home. Restaurants shopping within walking distance. Very peaceful quiet town Comfy bed, but bring your own pillow . The pillows were not comfortable
- 5/5
Fantastic property and location.
- 5/5
We also enjoyed shopping and dining in the immediate area around the inn. I highly recommend!!
- 5/5
Super cute little place . Staff was very helpful rooms were decorated really nice!!
- 5/5
Perfect from start to finish. Everything was quality and lovely. The history was cool too! We will be coming back.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful property with a redesign that doesn’t miss a thing. It is elegant with a rich history and a current ownership that knows how to marry the past and present. Every detail is polished and pops out and makes guests wish they could have similar ideas and furniture for their own dwellings. The staff is incredibly courteous and proud of both the history of the building and the upgrades just about completed. The little town of Jacksonville is outside the door, offering boutique stores and bars and restaurants and live music. The McCully House is a perfect addition to this charming town.
- 5/5
Complete fairy tale from start to finish.
- 4/5
Lovely room and property.
- 5/5
We had no plans to return to Jacksonville as we were here for a family event, but we enjoyed it so much we are creating an excuse to return!
- 5/5
Beautiful historical property right downtown.

- 5/5
What a beautiful place to spend the night after a 10 day road trip.

Patty was AWESOME!
- 5/5
The room had so much charm. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff is very welcoming. We will be back.
- 5/5
The room was impeccably clean, the sheets were soft, and the bed was very comfortable! It was hard to walk out the door even to saunter across the street to the best coffee in the USA. If you ever come to Jacksonville and this place isn't full...book it!
- 5/5
What a find! Comfortable, charming and luxurious. We loved the old house and how it was appointed. Right next to shops and restaurants.
- 4/5
This Inn is currently remodeling, so everything is mostly upside down. However, my room was lovely and the bed was great.
- 5/5

Pleasant environment. Personal attention at check-in was appreciated. Comfortable accommodations. Unique old property.
- 5/5
The attention to detail was impressive. I loved the fresh flowers in the room and the staff was incredibly friendly and thoughtful.
- 5/5
Great location in downtown Jacksonville
- 5/5
We loved our sweet little room at the top of a teensy side stair off the main one- it was quiet, clean, temperature was perfect, and the tub and bathroom were lovely. The location was perfect, right in the middle of Jacksonville, so excellent coffee and food places were right there, and we had fun wandering along the little shops- very cute place. The little pantry was fine, but I wouldn't call it 'breakfast' exactly, just little snacks, which were fine, and very good tea! Appreciated the variety of milks for guests with dairy issues.
- 5/5
Wonderful couple's retreat and walking distance to Britt Festival Concert.
- 4/5
Curtain blocks ac unit. Tv remotes need to be simplified, people were nice

- 5/5
Just an absolutely wonderful all around experience. Sorry we didn’t have more time to enjoy it.

Comfortable stay and will stay again
- 5/5
We loved everything about the McCully House. The location in Jacksonville was perfect for a night of wine tasting and dinner. Patti at check in was so helpful and reached out after booking to make sure they were ready for us when we arrived. The room was fantastic and we loved how spacious it was. The bed was so comfortable and the shower was great as well. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Jacksonville/Medford/Ashland area.
- 4/5
perfect location
- 5/5
The only bad thing
- 5/5
Great place can’t wait to go back
- 5/5
Excellent location. Great staff. Walkable. Close to food and drink.
- 2/5
We got stuck in one of the winery cottages. Parking was horrible. We had to wheel our luggage down the street half of the block. Window coverings were very inadequate. No privacy. Window coverings on French doors only covered half the window. We covered with extra blanket. Front desk information was on local eateries was wrong. No breakfast is served as stated on the website. They give you a $10 off coupon at 5 local restaurants for breakfast, only one is open for breakfast. Breakfast at the Pony Express was excellent. Loved the town of Jacksonville.
- 1/5
There is no one on staff on the property. When I arrived at 4 PM the Lobby was closed, it's not open Mon-Thursday. I did not receive an email with instructions to go to another property 1.5 away for the key, though there is a lockbox at the door. The back window looks over the roof utilities. And at 7AM as I walked out of the shower the room's fire alarm went off. Was not a pleasant experience. Won't recommend it, and will not be back.
- 4/5
Location was wonderful. Furnishings were lovely.
- 5/5
However, we checked in fairly close to the end of the day. The staff was friendly but leaving for the day. They brought us ice and tried to fix the tv (which never worked), but was unsuccessful. It was a shame. We received a breakfast voucher but we’re unable to locate a breakfast site that served anything substantial. We enjoyed our stay but likely won’t return.
- 4/5
This is a lovely, well located hotel for visiting Jacksonville, Or. My only reservation is that the lobby area is not open except on weekends and you have to check in at a sister motel a mile away. I assume this is related to COVID issues and will probably disappear by this summer.
- 5/5
The King bed was the best quality we've had in ages!! Also great to have a 'suite' where we can sit in chairs to watch TV or read. The shower was also a delight! We would be happy to stay here again.
- 5/5
Super cute romantic getaway. Loved the old charm. Would stay here again.
