They area was not a good area. Lots of people just hanging around. Police cars by the gas station all night long. I had to have them reset my key card every night when we returned to the room. That was a pain. Also the plumbing was bad every time i used the restroom i thought it would over flow and all i did was pee…

Convenient location, low price, staff was friendly. Lack of hot water for the shower. Bathroom was in need of repair, falling apart at base of shower tub. Someone had smoked in the room previously.

There was a water bug in the bathroom and when I say it's the largest one Ive ever seen, it had to be at least 3 inches long. The paint on the ceiling was falling off in 6 in pieces, the over all smell was very musty or more of a black moldy smell.

There’s no breakfast Even though the motel says recently remodeled, it’s run down. It’s not very clean. It feels tucked into a shady area where the people made me nervous in the parking lot. The ice machine did not work.

The 1st room had no AC and the floors were nasty so she moved me to a 2nd room. I paid 70 for a room that I didn't stay in .

There was an elevator, everything worked as it should (shower: hot, good pressure; lights; room phone; door and locks; TV; outlets, etc) Staff were friendly The facility was under construction and right outside my room had stilts like it was holding up the floor above. The water was being worked on so didn’t get to shower the first night. One room above me had a leak and water was pouring from above- but my room was fine!

The room was clean, but no hot water Under construction & emergency egress blocked with construction equipment & materials. Hot waterline under repair or being replaced so not hot water. The room was too small or badly set up for the king bed. I feel a discount should have been given

The most concerning issue was the cleanliness of the room. I found roaches inside the microwave (I have photos documenting this), which was extremely unsanitary. The bathroom also had visible mold and mildew, and the room consistently had a damp, musty smell that made it uncomfortable to stay in. Additionally, the toilet had clearly not been properly cleaned. There was urine residue along the sides and visible pubic hair present when I arrived, which raised serious concerns about the room’s sanitation standards. Another issue during my stay was the constant noise from ongoing patchwork which made it difficult to rest. I do want to acknowledge Ms. Stephanie, who was very kind and professional during my interactions with her. She was a bright spot in an otherwise unpleasant experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves their cleaning and maintenance standards for future guests.

For the age of the building, the Room was clean, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Front staff were friendly and welcoming. The area is a bit sketchy, and it can be very noisy from the outside due to the door seals.

The staff that attended was very rude unfriendly at check in restroom nasty dirty location look a bit unsafe they greet you behind a security window. Overall a nightmare bedbugs.

This was the last place available but i would have rather slept in my car. The desk service was good although the booking for a regular room was accidentally "canceled" resulting in only being able to get a smoking room. The bathroom was filthy, there were sketchy people all over, one of them was banging on my door at 4 am. It was bad... if you have any options at all - go there instead.

My stay was great and I'll be back or keep it on my hotel list. I am pretty sure that you can find a problem if you look but most of all enjoy it make the most of it. You know you gotta make the most out of life too so be blessed and staff was great. Assisted me when I wanted to change my room and sheets. Was cool neighbors it was cold outside today and their heater work hot water works lights work bed was comfortable almost made me late it was so comfortable. Where did y'all get those mattreses from ?

Place was advertised as "newly remodeled". Dont know how that could be.... tub took 30 minutes to drain after a shower, toilet was very loose and rocked when you say down, mattress was very lumpy and pillows were flat and one was just a hard lump. Light over the sink only worked about 1out of 10 times of trying. Although i will say the lady working in the office was very nice.

NO NO NO think before you Stay here! If you need an explanation then you’ll wish you listen to me .. People live in this motel . We were on a motorcycle trip. We got there at 11 o’clock at night. There was people wandering around in the parking lot and halls . No guests spoke english the only reason we stayed there is because we are on a motorcycle trip and we were extremely tired after riding eight hours, so we took our chances . We left at 9 AM and there were folks smoking marijuana, and drinking beers throughout the property as we rode away. Think before you stay here. The room had boogers, blood, mold in the room . I wish I could Refer to photos for more information but Expedia doesn’t allow pictures

I love Motel 6 this is where I come when I'm tired from work or just wants some peace & quiet!!!! Because where I reside every weekend my Mexican neighbors be having a party until 2-3 in the morning

The Manager Stephanie is awesome!!! She always welcome me back anytime I come!!!! And also the changes on the room doors and overall!!!! Maybe, they will have a Breakfast Bar one day

Check in was simple and easy . When we used the elevator to get to the 3rd floor. The elevator moved a couple inches before the door of the elevator closed. As we were on the elevator, it felt unsafe. Later that evening we found out the elevator was no longer working.

Front desk clerk was friendly and the room was nice and clean.

Well bathroom needs painted. Tv didn't work very well. Air conditioner not working very well.

Rude front desk. Door without safety latch. Very creepy and dark entry road. LOUD heater that continually cycled preventing sleep.

And let me warn you this hotel back off the road behind some buildings but the area in front of the hotel on the main road is heavily ingested with jomeless people and drug dealers. Im from garner NC and came to stay with my husband whos working in charlotte for a month and leaving the hotel yesterday to get something to eat it was around 9pm i got pulled over by a cop because he said he knew what i was doing back there at a resturant that had already closed after we ate there and i ask what was I doing and he kept saying that over and over but wouldnt say he thought i was doing something with drugs my car is very nice Camaro and he assumed i was doing something with drugs. Im beginning to understand that this side of town is drug infested and homeless people so find another hotel honestly other part.of town.

I enjoyed my stay. Location was great. For the amount of traffic, it relatively quiet.

Check-in was fine but within 24 hours our toilet and sink were clogged. When I called the front desk I was told they didn't have a plunger and I had to wait until the next day. When I called the next morning and asked when someone would be showing up to fix my toilet they didn't know anything about it. Also during the last day the lights and outlets around the headboard stopped working. On a side note the fridge and microwave worked great and there was a nearby area for me to walk the dogs..

They don't clean your rooms you spend all that money, but they will clean the Mexicans rooms!!!!! You gotra get a new key everyday!!! Nice rooms but the service is poor!!!!

Staff was nice, motel was close to carowinds which was good. The room was what I call straightened up. The basics were not dirty, but it could use a deep clean and some big time maintenance. I will not stay here again.

The only reason why I booked this hotel is that my son has a dog. It’s not worth $77 for a night.

This place was roach infested. Did not know until we turned on the lights and the place was full of all kinds of bugs that got into my bags. The toilet was not connected to the floor and the seat was loose. No shampoo or hair dryer. The tv did not work properly. No coffee maker. Signs of homeless living all around the place. At 3.00 am as we were hightailing it out of there a gang of kids came from the store across the street heading towards the hotel. The smell of pot also was around. Do not stay here,

The person at the front desk was wonderful however I would not recommend staying here. Room was in serious need of updates. Bathroom ceiling was falling apart, outlets and lamps near bed did not work. Room was just gross, smelled like a bar.

Stayed here quite a few times never had such a horrible experience. Not only was the heat control, broken, most all of the lights in the room were burnt out or just missing….The door did not lock as it looked like it had been busted in. Then I went to go take a shower and realize the bathtub and standing water around the drain… very cloudy water. I decided to take a Wh@$%s bath at the sink as I was already running late, then the sink starts backing up disgusting water as well. I was beyond disgusted I had to go to a business meeting unshowered and disheveled looking.

lights at the head of the bed had to be unplugged, no switch for the headboard light. the bed linin was clean. the thing I really didnt like was the after we left the hotel we stopped for coffee, I thought I had a rock in my shoe.turns out it was a toenail clipping evidently had stuck to my foot off the floor before I put my socks on, not happy. burnt looking heater on the wall that should not be there, cracked caulking in the tube area tv with not one pay channel.I swear 5 mins of commercials 1 min of show.thats my honest review of this hotel thank you.

The hallways were dirty, and had over filled trash cans..could use a major pressure washer going over. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Slept well

Sink Wouldn't drain. We reported it but nobody showed up to fix it it was still filled with water when we left.. Air conditioning started making a funny smell in the morning we had turned it off in a 100ﾟ weather. My feet were filthy from walking all over the floor I had to wash them before putting my shoes on.

The property was extremely out dated and filthy! The room had a huge coach roach,brown spots on the bedding ,tv only had sound no picture on screen,long hair on “fresh towel”, bathroom overall filthy,dirt and hair in the tub,on the floor and on the toilet. Toilet also had no lid on the seat area. Room smelled terrible like smoke. Other suspicious looking guest were hanging out looking around. Loud music playing in cars in the parking lot and coming from neighboring rooms. I was very disgusted! We would have been better off sleeping in our vehicle. My young son asked was that motel 6 rated a 1 or 2 star hotel? They should shut the entire motel down!

Staff was friendly, location was easy to find. However room had a strong, unpleasant odor. Bathtub was also a bit dirty.

Had to stay there due a a canceled flight and it was one of the very few available. Room main lights were not working, bed side light didn’t work, electric plugs by the bed did not work either. Asked to change room and they told me they didn’t have any other rooms available. I asked for a discount and was denied, asked for a 1pm checkout and was also denied. Fridge doors were super sticky and grimy, had rust stain in the toilette, vending machine room was sooooo hot and it was out of all drinks. Gas station close by closed earlier, which is not their fault, but if they had water or drinks on vending I wouldn't have to try and go there, neighborhood did not feel safe either. Only good thing is that the bed felt clean.

The stay was very uncomfortable. The stairs and floors were dirty. The room was spared to be non smoking although there was a ashtray in the room. The door has a hole in it. There was no kind of cleaning service or room assistance for towels after staying there three days. The room smelled really bad. I’m very disappointed. The elevator was broken and there was a broken filter in the room.

This was probably the most hilariously awful place I’ve ever stayed. Between the busted tv, bathroom door that was too small to fully close, and the sink that only worked with scalding water, there was a lot of not great things going on.

Missed our connecting flight due to weather and had to spend the night in Charlotte. Nothing was available but this hotel. It was cheap so not high expectations. Bad part of town. Smelled bad. People outside our door talking and partying almost all night. Didn’t sleep at all. Should of just stayed at the airport. It would have been less scary

It was not in the best part of town. No shampoo No conditioner. No hair dryer. We even call the front desk. They do not have hairdryers

we're in an updated room, sink has only scalding water, bath water is fine. No stopper in sink, so can't shave. No garbage can or Kleenex. Fridge and microwave are disgusting. pillows are bad. Bedding, flooring updated so far.

Cars would come and go all night long. I really didn’t feel safe here! We stayed here because it was close to the Samaritans purse processing center that I volunteered at for 2 days. Never again

An absolutely excellent, superb & stellar experience, and all for such a great price. The management is very cool and staff is awesome they were very personable and took the hospitality role seriously for guests and thier families. Oh yeh and you can watch baby deer feed by highway all day...

The room was pretty clean. The TV was small, but the bed was comfortable. I was in a smoking room and it wasn't overly dinghy. It wasn't luxurious butit was a comfortable place to sleep.

Called to cancel the reservation & never got an answer. Even had Expedia call & they couldn’t get through to them either. Still waiting for my refund!😡

By far the nastiest hotel i have ever stayed in. Not even worth $5 a night. The owner should be ashamed. I wont leave a long description because everything was horribly wrong. Even though they dont give refunds i recieved mine because the conditions were so unbareable we left in the middle of the night. Bugs in the light fixtures, cigarette burns in the blankets, old pictures of the property online, also trash in the room. The corona beer cap in the pictures are not ours. Also had people come knocking on our room door all times of night looking for drugs. Roach motel/ HOEtel If you love diseases stay here also lets not forget the brown bathtub and yellow toilet seat i would never. Tried to charge $70 a night for this 😂😂😂😂😂😂

This hotel was absolutely horrid!! Dirty walls, filthy/run down bathtub, stained bedding, holes in the wall, crack pipe burns all over tub and surfaces, damage all over. I wouldn’t recommend staying here at all. Within the first hour of being there you could hear banging on doors until around 2am. Mentioned all these problems to staff and all they had to say was “I just got here five minutes ago”

Room was HORRIBLE AND DINGY. Micro had some sort of sticky white substance all over the front of it. The sheets and blankets had tons of cigarette burns on them and i had a non smoking room!!
