Do not stay at this hotel. My daughter spent one night and was bitten by bedbugs. You read that right: bedbugs! When she informed the hotel, they demanded that she produce photos of the bedbugs, which was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially since they could see the bites on her ankle and how painful it was. They did not offer any kind of apology or help her in any way. Furthermore, the room was quite dirty (which explains the bedbugs) and many things did not work properly, e.g., the blinds. This meant that they had to choose between privacy and no natural sunlight. Overall, it was a terrible experience.

We stayed for 3 nights and loved the location and the room. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and had very soft pillows. The TV was great and had many channels, They had free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was horrible. The first morning they only had little muffins and coffee. The second morning they had eggs that were cold and the waffle iron was malfunctioning. The third morning they had no coffee and no eggs. The bathroom door rubbed the toilet when opening and closing door, and the handle in shower fell off every time you turned the water on.

Start with the check-in was okay. Got into the first room the the bottom of the door had a rubber attached to it that every time you move the door it squealed. Had to ask for a different room. Got to the second room it was not any better the chair was stained and dirty like somebody threw up on it. Had to ask for a blanket or something to cover it up cuz it was too gross to even set my suitcase on. The walls have areas where it look like somebody threw up and wasn't clean properly. There was also in the bathroom where the cover came off of some wiring. Very disappointed Got woke up at 5:30 in the morning with the police next door with people screaming and yelling. And pounding on doors. It was just a horrible stay.

Staff was okay, but they lied about what they provided, and they are the ones causing the trash. They are cooking in the back of the hotel their dinner and throwing the garbage on the ground outside their door. They take those Otis psunkmeyer mini muffins the cake ones and put them on a tray individually for the staff to eat and they looked extremely old. I’ll never in my life go here again

Nice, clean room. Property is older and the exterior concrete and steps need work. Went for breakfast at 730 am and there was virtually nothing. Other than that a fine place to stay. No problem with the room at all. Great for the price!

Mostly broken power receptacles in the room, filthy air vents, “breakfast” was a joke.

The breakfast was fine. Our main room was clean. The staff wasn't super friendly. The main problem was my room's bathroom. The door would get stuck and not close properly, and the shower bar holding the shower curtain was curved like a smile, so the curtains would not close entirely and water would escape the ends onto the bathroom floor. Overall, 4/10, would not recommend.

This was a horrible hotel especially if you have children or pets! Garbage was all over the place our door was broken and the shower flooded the whole bathroom.

The bed was so hard and the pillows were throw pillow size instead of King sized and the ac unit was not getting the room cold. I would have hated to stay here in the summer. The best part was the breakfast and that was alright for a free breakfast.

Lobby looked good so I had high hopes for the room. All I can say is the beds were comfortable. Bathtub needed a good scrubbing . Toilet was wobbly-was afraid I'd tumble off at some point. Outlet by sink was hanging out of the wall. Breakfast-yuck. Coffee machine was broken, but did see a new one being wheeled in when we left.

It had a good rating, but... I would not stay here again. The breakfast was almost nothing there. Some things were not working, and there was no one to restock the breakfast items. I have traveled for 50 years. I expect a little more.

The room smellled like pee and when I told the front seat that I wanted disinfectant they said that the room was clean and it was not needed. The door to the room did not lock and was a huge safety concern. The toilet stopped working and the assistant manager said he’d give me a plunger for me to fix it on my own since maintenance was not available

The check-in staff was rude and non-responsive. He took my card and ID, walked away with no communication, and proceeded to warm his food up instead of assisting me. I had to knock on the glass and ask for my information back before he told me what he was doing. This is not a great idea nor did it make me feel safe as a traveler.

Absolutely disgusting. Walked in to our room at midnight exhausted after getting done at a concert and as soon as we turn the lights on roaches start running everywhere!! The front desk did not want to help and still charged me so now I am having to dispute the charge and I had to drive back home 4 hours at midnight!!! DO NOT STAY HERE

This is an older (cheaper) property, so go in with that expectation and you won't be disappointed. The facility is older, and reasonably maintained, but shows its age. The room was clean, clean linens, clean bathroom and had a fridge and microwave. Fairly quiet area and well lit parking lot, and doesn't feel insecure. Overall, if you're looking for reasonably priced accomodations, its a good place, but has no frills and is a bit dated. I've stayed here several times over the last couple years and its not too far from Downtown Charlotte, and does the job.

Not a pleasant area, room smelled like weed , and it wasn't fully clean and the person refused to accomodate me. The next day, I complained and they put me in another room that was not the suite I purchased and you can tell it was infested at one point, there was a roach in one of their pictures.

Hotel in super bad area with homeless and drug heads BUT oddly enough it’s kept up if your just in town for a cup of coffee it’s perfect for that only REAL issue I have is the checking in at 3pm part especially if you there at 1pm and room ready they still won’t let you check in early cause they say you will be using water and electricity so the way they try to save is making you wait to check in so be prepared to sleep in car while you wait so THAT sucks! Oh and owner seems real nice but his cousins not so much

I don't know how this is a Quality Inn, toilet looks to be coming off the wall, breakfast didn't have any bacon like other locations, the dude checking me had a issue with me questioning the incidentals charge shrugging his shoulders while walking away, I will never stay here again, Does Quality Inn have any clue on hotels that are franchised ?

Breakfast was terrible. No selection, eggs but no meat, very small muffins that remained in there for the entire 4 days we were there. Very tiny yogurt and very few. Watered down waffle batter. Very disappointing and will likely choose other accommodations on future trips wherever we go. Also staff difficult to talk to due to their foreign language.

The hotel and room were very clean. Bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of light in the room. Room appeared to be revently renovated with hard wood floors and nice bathrooms. Breakfast was adequate with scrambled eggs and make your own waffle option; a meat (bacon, hame, or sausage) would have been a nice addition to breakfast. Ample parking and a gym were available at this hotel. Staff was pleasant though we not quick to greet you when entering the lobby or wishing you a good day. Check out was efficient.

We did not even stay there. Checked in- loud party was going on and people outside smoking drinking. You could smell marijuana coming from the rooms. People had their doors propped open and we did not feel safe. Homeless man walking the property with a garbage bag. The back end of the property was completely abandoned with garbage, broken and boarded rooms. I went to the front desk told them l wanted to cancel my stay and get my money back and they refused, even though it was only shortly after we checked in. We did not even go in the actual room, and left after they refused yo return our money. This was completely misleading as the pictures look wonder and we were excited to stay here. Utter disgrace and disappointment on how terrible this place was.

The “hot breakfast buffet” is nothing more than a continental breakfast with soggy eggs and if you don’t get there within about the first hour you won’t even have that. The room was gross with sticky brown gunk stuck to the bathroom door and hair in the bed. They also must keep the ACs off until a guest checks in because when we entered the room the AC was off and it was so hot in the room that the first night we couldn’t sleep. If you have children I would highly recommend AGAINST staying here, there were people just standing outside their doors smoking pot. It was disheartening to have to walk our 3 and 1 year old through pot smoke.

The woman at the front desk was horrible. She was so rude, couldnt find my reservation that had already been paid for. I showed her my phone an she said its in someone else's name. Then tried to put me on 2nd floor after i put in notes about fluids being built up on my legs an i also called the hotel th week before just to make sure. She said they disnt have any more rooms on 1st floor an i said i cant be on swcond floor so i guess you will have to give me my money back. She huffed an look thru her card thing an handed me a key to a room on first floor. As i was standing there for waiting for me someone called about reservations they had made for several actors cuz she had messed it up an she told him it want her problem an hung up on him an two of them was walking dead actors.

Easy quick check in. Very transactional. Room was ok enough space and beds were ok. For the price it was exactly what I expected. Just a simple place to sleep for a night.

We got in late, after midnight. At check-in, he claimed I had no reservation. I had to pull up the confirmation online to show him. Was given 2 double beds instead of the king bed I reserved. Plus we had to walk up stairs to get to our room. The toilet ran every 7 minutes. Loud music thumping in the parking lot. We could smell weed. Not the best area of town. Room seemed mostly clean. I checked for bed bugs and didn’t see any. We were so tired we didn’t have it in us to ask for another room. Breakfast was very meager. They had waffles and bread for toast but no butter. Powdery lukewarm eggs. Cereal. Overall, just meh. We didn’t die. It was an okay bed for the one night we slept there. But again, we were VERY tired! We were awake in the room for less than an hour the whole time.

Reasonably priced but you get what you pay for. Mattress placed on top of some sort of hollow metal boxes so you wake up any time you turn in your sleep. Other than that it’s Ok if you want a quick stay that’s close to a highway.

The bed in the room was sooooo comfortable. We were not expecting to have to pay a $100 deposit tho. I had to dig thru the hotel info on expedia and read some seriously fine print about the deposit. It should be listed at the beginning of the reservation so the people can expect it. Other than that, i was blown away by how clean, spacious, and comfortable the room was.

I had a 12pm check out and someone tried to come into my room without knocking at 10am. The again but with knocking at 11:20am. I killed 5 baby roaches in the room. Im staying in the area for work and the internet wasn't good. Also there was people walking from a hotel behind this one on drugs. They looked like zombies. A man with no shirt on was fighting the air and someone was shot on the corner.

The outside looks a little rough, but the Lobby and the room were REALLY clean! I usually take cleaning supply's to hotels, most, I end up cleaning but this one, there wasnt any debris in the floor(barefooted) the shower head was clean, no dust. Bed was perfect!

The hotel is back on a side street. There’s a lot of homeless on the Main Street. Kind of felt unsafe. The room was clean but needed some repairs like bolt was out of the toilet seat, so it moved from side to side. For a layover stuff I would do it again, but my friends advice is spend $20 more and you’ll be happy and I would probably say that about this hotel

I needed a place for a night and was terrified after reading reviews on a dozen hotels. This property was in a good area, right next to the interstate. My room was huge and clean. Bed slept great, the 1 staff member I encountered was nice and helpful. I don't require a lot as a traveler, and this fit my needs perfectly. I was very happy with the cleanliness of the room and property. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel is not worth the price. The bed was on a cheap frame that made noise with every move and the AC/heat has no "stay on" setting to drown out traffic and guest noise.

Multiple broken lamps in 1 room , coffee but nothing to make the coffee, tv remote with no batteries, no shampoo or conditioner in the provided containers.

The room was clean. The staff unfriendly and unwelcoming. Breakfast was paltry. One ice machine for the entire hotel and inconveniently located. We stayed during the winter, there was a light bed covering and no blanket. Did not give me a receipt. Will not return.

I’m very dismayed and disappointed that the hotel is currently holding US$100.00 and hasn’t released my funds back onto my card. I’m requesting for my funds to be returned asap. I’ve heard of hotels keeping a card on file in the event it’s needed but this lady held my funds and told me it’ll be returned to my card the following day. It’s been an entire week and my funds is still on hold. They held more money than what I paid for the room. I’m very disappointed and wish this matter to be resolved asap.

Room smelled like cigarettes and marijuana. Kids running up and down hallways after midnight. Parents beating their kids leaving them screaming at midnight! The bathroom had broken toilet paper holder and broken toilet seat!

Pick literally any other place. Park in any random parking lot and sleep the night off instead. Bad area, poorly taken care of. Not sure I felt any safer inside the room with a single chain lock (outside door) than I did outside. $100 security deposit hold and an additional $400 hold? Wild. Not as advertised at all. Would rate 0 if given the chance.

The person that checked me in was nice and courteous. The room was not good. There was stains on the lamps and walls. The entrance door had a few small holes where you could see sunlight coming through. Sheets needed to be changed. And something that I really hate along with the uncleanliness is bugs! There was roaches! I will never be staying there again nor would I recommend it to anyone!

A minor gripe that the TV remote was not working, but I wasn't in the room long enough for it be a big problem. Breakfast options slightly above average (scrambled eggs was a pleasant surprise), and the staff was quick to respond to shortages. I have a slight issue with the property billing itself as "University Area" when the college is several miles away.

The hotel overall was very nice. It was clean and comfortable. The surrounding area feels a little uncomfortable, but nothing overly dangerous. I was hesitant based on other reviews, but overall we had a good stay for a couple of nights. Other guests were a bit noisy and inconsiderate of their "smoking choices", but I do not hold that against the property. The Bed was comfy, shower was great. Will keep this property in mind for future NC trips.

After spending about an hour at the room, we decided to leave and find another place to spend the night. Didn’t even check out. It was dirty, very smelly, and we did not feel safe in the area. Did not remotely resemble what we saw on the Expedia website when we booked. Very disappointed.

First room door was not working, the second room roof was leaking and the 3rd room the TV was not working. In the morning I wanted to take a cup of tea but they didn't have lead for the cup, the front desk agent try to justify everything instead of giving a simple apology.

It was disgusting. Refused to stay there for my kids safety. Bedbugs cockroaches semen on the floor hair all over the bed it was the nastiest room will never stay there.

The gentleman checking you in was visibly sick. Drove around back to the room and there was junk/trash/furniture stacked up outside of a room. I got into the supposed nonsmoking room and it reeked of cigarettes. The comforter and all sheets were stained up along with the chair. The room was poorly dusted. I immediately went back to the main office to let them know I didn’t want the room and wouldn’t be staying. They refused to refund me and was unapologetic about the experience. He did offer me a suite but I was disgusted by the filth.

It is not fun to wake up and find dead cockroach in your room.

Linens were dirty. We asked for clean linens and they tried to give us a different room. We had to go to the 2nd room and get the linens and bring them to our room. Cleaning people were 2 young men that looked like teens. Wasnt sure they cleaned thoroughly. Had a medical emergency (while at the hotel - no fault of the hotel) and didn't get to stay the 2nd night booked and hotel would not refund the 2nd night. Poor service.

Don't stay here. The photographer did a great job making the place look decent. As soon as we arrived we asked the return/cancelation policy and was told it was out of the time frame understandably so. Our room smelt like smoke, had stains on the furniture from what we didn't want to imagine, and looked as if it was used for a scene for addicts in a movie. They had 4 half pillows on the bed. My fiance and I didn't even want to touch anything. We sat for about 5min to look for another hotel then left. It seems this happens often judging by the front desk employee not even charging/holding our card. Again, don't stay here.

The bed was very uncomfortable.

Limited choice of breakfast items - no bananas, bread, plus almost everything empty with 30 minutes still left to eat. There was a puddle of water In the hallway, which was not cleaned up. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough but the clock didn’t work. I didn’t feel safe since the overall appearance of the hotel was very rundown. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Older property that could use an upgrade. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was clean. Surrounding area was clean. Lots of security cameras outside. Free breakfast.

No water when we checked in at 11:30pm, no discount or bottled water offered. Manager said it was the cities problem since they didn’t notify the hotel before. Two nights later, no hot water! Manager recently apologized via email, but no refund! This is a poorly managed property.

Upon reaching the property, the location was filled with those who were on substance abuse standing around begging. We entered, and the receptionist, Sunitha, spoke rudely. When we got there, we were told by the receptionist to pay an additional fee for a security deposit. We did and were given the room key. When we entered the room, it reeked of foul order, and the white sheets had brown stains all over. The pillows were overused, stained, and very dirty. The halls leading to the room were dirty, with trash everywhere. We returned and informed the receptionist of the situation and how we could not sleep in such an environment. She responded that her rooms get booked each night, so if we don't like it, we can leave. Mind you, her voice towards us since we got there has been nasty and demeaning. We asked for a refund, and she said we booked off Expedia; they had to refund us, but she would refund the security deposit. Upon calling Expedia for a refund, I was told by a manager and a call center rep that they could not help me cause the receptionist refused to refund me. So I never got to stay in the hotel, and I never got my money refunded. The only thing Expedia could offer me was a 10-dollar cashchain telling me they were sorry for the inconvenience. I was very disappointed in their service and will never use them again. And I will most certainly never book a hotel at this location again

It’s was poor. Paid for two nights but had to manage and sleep somewhere else and couldn’t complete the two nights.

Could not stay there, had to find a different hotel. Bedding was stained crumbs on gottom sheet, towels had black stains all over. room was just not ok to stay in,

It was nothing special. We were only there to sleep one night. Needed more options for breakfast!

Associates knocking 15 minutes before 11am check out time

Wifi didn’t work and they wouldn’t try fixing it. Also some other guests were incredibly loud through 4am.

The location of where I needed to be was convenient. Idk if it was because of the holidays, it seemed particularly quiet, which was good. The employees were very helpful.

The place seemed hardly ever cleaned..the bathroom and the floor was sticky with dirt and there were cockraoches running about..

The pictures are deceiving…. Yes it is cheap, but looks gross and in an unsafe environment. My room was still dirty, with stuff all over the sink and burn marks/ hair on my bed. Just gross.

The staff were kind and helpful.

The sheets and towels were stained, the bathroom sink drain was broken and it didnt drain and the shower had a large hairball on top of the drain. The staff just said ok when i told them about it.
