The pillows looked like they someone had just been laying on them, the bedding looked "clean" but doubt it was. We had to wipe the chair off and there was a brown substance that came off the chair on the rag. The hand towels and shower towels were stained, again doubt they were actually clean. The room was a smoking allowed as it was the only one they had left but it smelled way worse than a smoking room should. I will be asking for a refund as the description, pictures, and cleanliness did not match anything that was presented online!

Very nice location. Quiet hotel. It's dated, but it met our needs. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom could use updating. The door was nearly impossible to close. The toilet was old and stained.

Staff friendly clean room very nice place!!!
- 4/5
Room was clean, refrigerator was ice cold ! Staff friendly. Bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
The breakfast is just your typical junk food breakfast. There is free parking, which was a huge perk in Chattanooga. The room was as clean as you could expect and very comfortable.

This is the best place to stay! You’re seriously 10 from the aquarium and the kids play museum downtown. Everything is super close! The staff is forever amazing, the rooms are super clean, and the parking lot is well lit and I feel safe. I’ve stayed twice now and will continue to stay here every time we pop up! It’s super affordable and honestly worth far more. Go ahead and book- you will not be unhappy. (No I don’t know the owner or anything like that- just a super huge fan of small family businesses and this is how you help them grow!)

They did not have my reservation in their computer. I had to get a one bed room rather than the double bed I requested
- 5/5
Great room

Our stay was great. The room was very clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable.
- 5/5
Harry was great!!! Ive been going there for almost a year. His aunt and uncle was there but they retired. Harry is keeping their hotel in great condition. Its the best hotel in Chattanooga!!!
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, comfortable, and convenient to the attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating. It has a great view of the mountain. Will be staying again on our next trip.
- 2/5
Rooms felt like they were last renovated in 1999. Reasonably clean, but very dated.
- 5/5
Family owned and you can tell they are slowly working on fixing up the rooms. Our room was nice just wish the mattress was a little more comfortable. It worked good for a one night stop over.
- 5/5
We had a great time and enjoyed our stay! My son especially loved the pool and how comfortable the beds were as well. Will definitely stay there again!
- 1/5
There is NO security. Stay at your own risk. Never again. And manager said “why didn’t you call us?” Because we were terrified and I didn’t have my phone in the bed with me.
- 5/5
Excellent people and hotel
- 5/5
Dogs were allowed.
- 5/5
Quiet and clean
- 2/5
No vending machines, hard to communicate with staff and being an older motel with its downfalls. Would not recommend it..

There was some kind of brown substance on the back of the bathroom door. Don’t know what it was, but it was gross. The air conditioner did not work that well overall the room is really outdated. Also at check in they tried to make me pay a $200 deposit which it said nothing about in the listing on Expedia. He tried to call me a liar and say that yes it does even when I tried to show him. He went on to say everybody else around there charged a deposit, but I’ve stayed at other places around there and they did not charge a deposit and I told him that. In the end because I threatened to call Expedia and cancel my stay, he didn’t charge me the deposit. But I will not be staying here again you can find nicer places around for $10 or so more, I would rather pay the extra than deal with all of that again.

Close to a good selection of restaurants and fuel stations to start the next leg of your journey easily.
- 4/5
Convenient
- 4/5
No frills room. Breakfast appeared to be packaged honeybuns (we skipped anyway), nice pool area off the parking lot. Was kinda noisy though, kept hearing or getting woken up by people going in and out and making noise in other rooms.
- 5/5
Room was clean and woman who checked me in was very pleasant. I would stay again
- 4/5
Good room for our one night stay. Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great property as we were able to meet friends.
- 5/5
Very clean and no surprises. Great attention to details from the staff.
- 5/5
Very comfortable.

Got Extra Towels..
- 4/5
Front desk staff happily worked hard to accommodate all my requests. Everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. Overall the stay was what I expected for the price. I'll definitely be staying here every time I work in Chattanooga.
- 4/5

- 5/5

- 1/5
Out dated, just terrible!!
- 5/5
Great staff
- 2/5
Sheets were stained. Room was dirty as well as the tub
- 4/5
Excellent shower!
- 2/5
The room was clean. The bedding and towels looked really dingy and old. The room had a pungent ranked smell. It was so bad I had to sleep under the covers and could still smell it some. If it hadn't had that awful smell, I woyld have had no prob.
- 4/5
Very nice staff. Room was clean. Although it was non smoking, there was always a strong smell of smoke. Maybe from previuos years. Parking was free, but the spots were very narrow. Altogether it was a good stay.
- 3/5
It was convenient to the local tourist sites, an okay room if you don't mind the musty smell, but definitely overpriced
- 2/5
people friendly
- 5/5
Great room - great pool.
- 5/5
The check-in/check-out was quick & easy! Fees were exactly what we expected. Staff was very friendly & accommodating! Our room was clean & comfortable. The area felt safe. The pool was clean & clear!
- 4/5
We stayed only one night. It was quiet. Could use some upgrades. Really liked the fact that Walmart was directly across the street and the restaurant Logan’s was fantastic.
- 4/5
Bathroom could use some updating. Also needs more electrical outlets.
- 5/5
Pulling into the property and seeing the outside i was a little skeptical but when i got in the room it was a complete change. The room is actually good size and clean. I would stay here again.
- 3/5
To be honest the pillows looked like someone had already used them
- 1/5
The room smelled sheets were not clean blanket smelled nicotine dripping on walls
- 5/5
It was a little hard to find, tucked behind a clarion (I think) but once we found it the Knights Inn was very charming. The room was spacious and very clean. The check in was smooth. My only complaint was the “lobby” was very small and a little dirty, but breakfast was canceled due to COVID so I am sure when life is back to normal the staff will fix that up. Overall I would not mind staying here again!
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly. Price was great. Most of the towels were dirty and the rooms were a bit outdated. My experience matched the price.
- 1/5
Sheets torn, not upgraded for cell phone plug in, furniture beat up, hardware in tube falling off & tube not clean black ring & very slippery, linens very yellowed. Not sound proofed. Smoking & not smoking rooms right next to each other. We smelled the smokers next door all night. DON’T RECOMMEND for travelers.
- 1/5
Our experience was terrible!!! We had bugs in our bathtub! The toilet seat was dirty! The towels were soiled! We visit the area at least 4 times a year but, have never stayed here. We won’t stay here again!! The owner did not apologize!! He did nothing!! He could have at least offered an apology!!
- 4/5
I chose them spontaneously. I really needed some sleep. I had been driving almost 2 days. I was a little worried but then this place turned out to be pretty cool. I slept like a newborn baby! It was clean. Towels could be more fluff bur overall it served its purpose.
- 5/5
Great, comfortable place we stayed at on our trip.
- 5/5
The lady at the front desk was super-nice and went out of her way to make me feel welcome. It's right off the interstate and easy to get to. The room is sparse, but very clean, and I feel like I got good value for my money.
- 1/5
There were bugs everywhere. The staff was rude. The room looked outdated and gross. The parking lot did not seem safe to park overnight. Very sketchy. Spend the extra dollars to go somewhere else. Not worth the discount. We left immediately.
- 4/5
Friendly staff. Property was old. otherwise it was fine.
- 5/5
Very nice place. No complaints, at all. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. First trip traveling with our dog. They accommodated our needs perfectly.
- 5/5
Michael at the front desk was super knowledgeable and friendly. Seemed to take a genuine interest in the reason for our trip. He also went out of his way to help us with cancelling a day of our trip without penalty.
- 5/5
The owners were precious! We were checking in after 10 at night and they were very nice and offering great advice on what to do, making reservations, buying attraction tickets online etc.
- 4/5
This is definitely an older property but the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Maybe some better pillows but other than that it served the purpose I needed and super convenient to our needs.
- 5/5
Very convenient & local. Friendly staff. Clean rooms!
- 4/5
So you can tell there are people that actually live at this hotel but I didn’t notice any drug dealing or disrespectful people during my stay. My room was fairly priced and Walmart and all kinds of stores are directly across the street I will be staying there again.
- 5/5
Mr Mike and his family was so wonderful!! I felt safe and taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone who travels to Chattanooga.
- 2/5
trash around the parking lot and rooms. a stray cat in area that wanted to be petted. I do not pet animals I do not know
- 2/5
Lady that checked us in was snooty. We asked for 2 more bath towels my daughter and I have longer hair and needed them when we showered. She rudely said all you can have is 1 more. There was no breakfast as advertised. When asked if we get a discount seeing as that was one of the reason we stayed. She said NO you already got a discount from expedia. Very rude. Never staying there again
- 4/5
Vert satisfied
- 4/5
Hotel worked for the night we stayed. I would stay again.
- 3/5
Hotel room and service was pretty good. However the A/C is so loud and it’s not automatic which you have to turn on and off. So at night it can be pretty annoying
- 3/5
The only problem we had was that there were very loud vehicles coming and going in the parking lot. It did stop early and did not disturb our sleep.
- 2/5
There was a door between rooms (ours and someone else's) that didn't lock. We had to shove a table up against it to keep it closed.
- 4/5
Quick check in. Owners very nice and pleasant.
- 4/5
Very nice managers
- 5/5
The managers were so nice, very accommodating , although the facility is older, it was clean and comfortable. The view is wonderful. The Pool was clean and refreshing. Yes some people were partying in other rooms, did not bother us, wasn't rowdy .We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
I liked the owners. They were very solicitous of me as an older man with a heavy suitcase and moved me to a ground room when they saw that. They also got ice for me. I didn't like that they did not have breakfast. They blamed covid for this. Not a reason I can buy anymore.
- 5/5
We will go back to that same hotel every time we go there
- 4/5
The rooms we booked wasn't available, but they went above and beyond to work with us to find a way to make sure we got what we needed to meet our needs. The was extremely nice and helpful. It's nice to see hospitality at it's best. We would stay again..
- 3/5
My 2 cents - If you are not in a rush to get a booking then I would recommend to look for a better option.
- 4/5
There was am odd smell in the room, as though it was a smoking room they had tried to cover it up
- 4/5
All good
- 4/5
All good
- 4/5
Price, location, amenities( fridge, microwave) cleanliness.
- 5/5
Hotel was much better than reviews I had read. Room and beds were clean. Pool was clear. Felt safe with kids. Owners were kind and friendly. Great location— restaurants, Walmart, interstate. Will definitely stay here again.
- 3/5
We checked in. The staff was friendly and that is all I can say. We left. We did not stay. $100 lesson learned. The front of hotel looks nice and clean. Our room around back not so much. Chair outside and you could tell people lived there and they looked shady. One man was sitting in a chair without his shirt on. The pool had mold on the sides and steps. We were uncomfortable and did not stay. We left within an hour of check in.
- 2/5
It was the quality of a $30 a night hotel for triple that. Terrible pillows, terrible mattress, and filthy.
- 1/5
Sheets had blood stains, pee marks, and holes. The floors were sticky and had some stains. The bath/shower had cut hair on the walls. Will not stay there again.
- 3/5
I booked a room with 2 queen beds for $55 through hotels.com. When I arrived they said they didn't have a reservation. I gave them the reservation number and they found it stating that I booked a king room and will have to pay a higher fee of $77.00. There were nicer hotels nearby I could have paid that price and got a nicer room. There was a leak under the sink as well.
- 1/5
It sucks and i still havent got my points im needing a free night alreasy
- 3/5
For late arrivals sign in process is through a window not in the lobby. You are standing outside for ~10 min until person do his job. We're lucky it was only a kittle cold, not raining. Expedia took all info, but he requested the same.
- 4/5
Beautiful view of mountain
- 4/5
The facility was relatively close to the lookout mountain attractions and the price was the best in the area.
- 1/5
I found head lice on the sheets. Looked like blood splatter on the bathroom walls. Lady at front desk is crazy as a bat
- 5/5
Classic, old school motel. Reminded me of the trips we would take when I was a kid and needed a half way stay over on the road trip to Florida!
- 1/5
The lady almost didn't let us stay. She said she expected a deposit plus the money I paid to stay very upsetting to me.
- 3/5
This is a very old hotel and it shows. The blankets were very scratchy, there was a wasp in our room, and pipes vibrated loudly when others showered I'm assuming. The night manager was very nice and personable
- 5/5
The motel was nice and secluded somewhat. The pool was clean and very quiet atmosphere.
- 4/5
I was moving & travelling cross country. Needed to stop for the night & it was very late. Front desk gentleman was very nice. Room was comfortable. I'm not sure why there are so many poor reviews, but my stay was fine. This isn't a high end hotel, so maybe people were expecting more, but for what it is and the price, it was fine. The area felt safe, the bed was comfortable & no one disturbed me prior to checkout (unlike the place I stayed the night before & that was more of a name brand hotel than this place). I'd stay here again.
- 1/5
sheets were dirty and the room had smoke odor terrible
- 4/5
Family that runs it was so nice, great dog-friendly place to stay, pool kept clean!
- 2/5
Dead bugs in room, towels were stained, TV did not have cable, very poor reception on tv
