Great place to stay if you want an easy commute to down town without the fees of parking.
- 4/5
Everything was great. We had no issues.
- 4/5
Nice room. Was concerned about proximity to highway, but not a problem at all. Amenities were as expected, except there was no internet connection. Staff said they had recently switched to a new provider....not a good start to their 'new service'....would've given higher rating but for this issue.
- 5/5
...clean
- 4/5
Everything was great
- 2/5
Not a clean property and bathroom devices leaked.
- 5/5
All good

The view and smoking section
- 2/5
The room was just so so. The hotel is old and not kept up very well. I am disappointed in Marriott. First the room smelled like cat urine. The walls are thin and you hear people talking......loudly. the AC was extremely noisy and the train HONKED all night long. Stay downtown. It's not that far
- 5/5
We absolutely loved our time here. The first thing that struck us was the beautiful scenery surrounding the property. Beyond the views, the customer service was fantastic. Our room was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with amenities. It’s clear the hotel takes pride in its upkeep. We will be back!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and helpful!!!
- 5/5
We just stayed for the night after traveling 10 hours. Staff were friendly. Lobby was inviting. Rooms were clean. Shower was great. Breakfast was more than ample food to choice from. Nothing
- 1/5
The WORST service I have ever experienced at a hotel. The check in process took 39 minutes and I still don’t even know why. The girl at the front desk (young, blonde girl) was the least helpful any human could be. I kid you not, anything I asked her for she said no and did not offer any alternatives..just no we don’t have that or no we can’t do that for you. Then to top it off, the lady “helping” with the breakfast buffet was extremely rude to my kids and me. We took yogurt out of the fridge and she actually huffed because I guess we were inconveniencing her because she was going to have to restock the fridge again with one whole yogurt. And surprise surprise I tried to call Malvin the manager to discuss this with him and haven’t heard back. I never write reviews but this was ridiculous and no one else should have to experience this.
- 3/5
Very minimal. Could of provided boiled eggs and a better bread selection. Our room smelled like it was used by a smoker, which bothered my wife.
- 5/5
Good night sleep
- 3/5
Dated rooms and freezing indoor pool water
- 4/5
The only complaint was the air conditioner was to close to the bed and made a loud noise
- 5/5
Fresh breakfast menu. Clean and spacious rooms.
- 5/5
It was a little pricey for one night.
- 4.5/5
Very nice accommodations with comfy beds. The place was very clean and well appointed. The breakfast was good with lots to choose from.
- 3/5
Very small room and very thin walls. Could hear the toilet flush next door. Loud people in the hall at 3am but the hotel can’t help that. Front desk person was very friendly. Bed was a little lumpy and bathroom need some caulking around the tile.
- 4/5
Clean room, however thin walls. Staff pleasant, front desk helped with any needs. Hot breakfast. Pool was enjoyable.
- 4.5/5
Location was great and the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. The hotel is a bit dated- but maintained well.
- 5/5
Easy check in, great breakfast, clean rooms Lots of Highway noise
- 3/5
Location It is in need of maintenance Bathroom needs work
- 3/5
Location was great and staff was super nice and helpful. Our room the exhaust fan made an awful sound when running. As we were preparing to go to bed the fan randomly began to briefly kick on every 1-2 seconds. Not sure why it did so as the switch was off. I finally resorted to turning switch on briefly and back off which resolved it. AC possibly leaking. Daughter told me carpet was wet under it. Caulk in bathroom looked like it was done by a teenager. Light mold on ceiling. Beds were comfortable and felt safe.
- 4.5/5
breakfast lady was very friendly&helpful. desk ck in was easy&fast. room was clean. upon arrival we went out on the east patio and watched the almost full moon rise! nice area of the property. we enjoy the elevation of the hotel and lookout mt views. a fav spot to stop on way home from fla.
- 4.5/5
Just a little costly for an overnight stay.
- 5/5
All of the above
- 4/5
Breakfast had options
- 4.5/5
Breakfast very good
- 1.5/5
Did not eat breakfast...best thing about our room was the view The bed was uncomfortable.. no storage in the bathroom...not enough hangers ..could it get wifi to work on my phone..instead of Fairfield guest..had to use Fairfield conference before I could get to work and then not always..and the kitchen ...in most hotels we have stayed in suites...there is a full kitchen and a table and chairs...this "suite" was very small...the only thing along it a suite was the "wall" separating the bed from the rest of the room.. and my almost fell in the tub...only one grab bar at front of tub and the "non slip" stickers on the floor of the tub were not very good
- 5/5
Nothing
- 5/5
Beds need new mattresses, two of us woke up with backaches.
- 3.5/5
The room was dark and not enough lights to brighten it. The sink faucet is very bad.
- 3.5/5
The beds were reasonably comfortable. The hotel was quiet, without a lot of disturbances. The room could have been cleaner. There was an empty soda bottle under the edge of the bed from a previous occupant.
- 4/5
Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Coffee all day, breakfast was good, and amenities were well kept. The property overall was clean and attractive on the inside, rooms are in need of a bit of upkeep/dated with scuffs to the walls and furniture. Bathroom was dusty with rusted fixtures around the toilet, poorly caulked tub with mold, slow draining tub/shower.

Great
- 5/5
This Fairfield has just been completely renovated and is very nice! The location is great, right off I-24. The lobby areas and the room were both lovely. The desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast was okay. Next time we’re in the Chattanooga area this is where we will stay. Nothing
- 5/5
Very helpful and friendly staff, space to walk pups, breakfast while simple was good.
- 5/5
Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfy bed. Good breakfast. Would stay again.
- 3/5
room was in good condition, but was small. staff were pleasant. On our departure we got stuck in the elevator #2, on the 4th floor for about 15 minutes. that was nerve - wrecking to say the least, Front desk just said "sorry that happened, never happened before"
- 4/5
Clean
- 4/5
Good clean no frills hotel. Nothing special but nothing to complain about really. The coffee wasn’t very good but breakfast was average. I would stay again if in the area.
- 5/5
We stay at this Fairfield inn every time we drive through Chattanooga. The staff is always pleasant and helpful and the breakfast is good too.
- 3/5
We booked this hotel as it advertised an indoor pool. Since we booked two rooms to include the grandchildren, the pool was important. However, the pool was closed for maintenance indefinitely! The children were very unhappy!
- 3/5
Room didn’t smell good and could use a better cleaning
- 5/5
Clean. That’s what matters!
- 3/5
El baño tiraba agua, no suficientes toallas, no limpiaron cuarto
- 5/5
The hostess checking us in was so nice and efficient.
- 5/5
Everything was great.
- 5/5
We stayed in a two queen room. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, and shower pressure was great. We were able to sign into our Netflix on the TV, allowing more selection for movies. The property sits on a mountain with a nice view.
- 3/5
While the building was kept clean, it seems to be in serious need of renovation. I noticed some water damage at the top of the entrance to the lobby, carpet and wall damage in the hallway of our floor. Also I could see some signs of age in the our bathroom, and our bathroom door felt like it was dragging on the floor.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Room and pool area was clean. I would stay here again
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 3/5
Pool had no heat and the lobby smelled bad.
- 5/5
I love that it's close to lookout mountain! Staff are super friendly and helpful! It's a great spot to stay in if your in the Chattanooga area!
- 5/5
28th wedding anniversary trip with wife to visit Chattanooga and Ruby Falls, the Incline Railway and Rock City.
- 4/5
Great view!
- 5/5
Beautiful views, clean rooms
- 3/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. However, we were not informed and there was no signage informing us they do not clean the rooms daily. A card in the room encourages guests to reuse their towels, but they can get them replaced by placing them on the floor. I guess this explains why we saw other rooms placing their used towels and trash outside their doors. Upon checkout I asked about this and was told they only clean the rooms every 3 days.
- 4/5
This Fairfield in has a beautiful view! It's on a hillside and the view of the mountains is very nice. We were here for just one night, but enjoyed our stay. It was clean and safe and we would definitely stay hete again.
- 4/5
Convenient to the interstate. A little noisy on the side that faces the highway.
- 4/5
Great view
- 5/5
We enjoy the location of this property, only minutes from attractions.
- 4/5
Nice
- 4/5
Nice hotel that is just a little too expensive. Great location near attractions.
- 5/5
The view is spectacular!
- 5/5
Outstanding property. Clean and very well kept. Staff was very professional/helpful. Beautiful location and easy to access from I-24. Perfect for our short stay.
- 4/5
Hot water in shower was only luke warm. Would not get hot. Bathroom sink would not run out, except very slowly. Possibly partially stopped up.
- 5/5
We stayed
- 5/5
The smell was amazing, everything was clean and tidy. The view is amazing
- 5/5
Good sleep
- 3/5
Check in was fine but our rooms thermostat was not working as the display was illegible. we woke in the middle of the night to find no water in the taps. And finally at checkout I wished to discuss these issues with the reception desk but they were too busy in the back office chatting amongst themselves to work the front desk, even as I called to them for over a minute. The highlight was the lovely breakfast attendant who kept the food coming fresh and hot while she bussed tables and made everyone feel welcome.
- 5/5
Check in was easy
- 4/5
The staff was friendly, check-in and check-out were easy, the room was clean, and breakfast options were plentiful. Only improvement I could think of is that the bathroom could use an updated look/fixtures.
- 5/5
Nice hotel with nice mountain views. Clean. Nice breakfast.
- 4/5
I was surprised it got such good rating. I thought it was dated. The lamps did not have plugs for phones and such. There was not much to plug electronics into.
- 4/5
Close to attractions like Ruby Falls
- 2/5
I was severely shocked when I opened the door of the accommodation. The old smell vibrated. When I opened the bathroom door, the red smell from the water poked my nose. Messy carpet. I opened the window and ventilated for a long time. But I forced myself to spend the night with the smell and a stinging feeling. I don't recommend this accommodation. I think we need to keep the carpet replacement and the facilities clean. Please don't hurt the traveler's feelings.
- 5/5
Property is well kept and it was nicely decorated for Christmas. It was very closed to attractions. I will definitely recommend to family and friends and stay again if I come back to Chattanooga
- 5/5
Nice clean room
- 2/5
This hotel is a 6 not a 9. It is rundown. Sadly, Hotels.com no longer provides accurate info.
- 4/5
The hotel was conveniently located to see Ruby Falls and Lookout Mountain. Clean hotel and quiet.
- 5/5
We have stayed here several times to visit the area and on our way to see family in DC. Easy to the interstate, area attractions. Always clean, comfortable and a good breakfast. Would stay again.
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
Everything was good. Breakfast was also great. The swimming pool had warm water so my daughters could enjoy it in the evening. Only a small annoying thing is a little clogged the sink.
- 5/5
Convenient interstate access and close to Walmart
- 2/5
Booked king bed suite. When arrived told they didn’t have one. Moved to two queens. Loud guests next door late. Fourth floor and heard a lot of loud traffic noise.
- 5/5
We always stay at this hotel when we're traveling. Best customer service we've ever had ... consistently! The front desk clerks are always just so fun and friendly. I always feel so welcomed here. Great group of people, clean rooms, great breakfast.
- 5/5
Great staff. , room , gym and breakfast !
- 5/5
Great breakfast , staff and hotel
- 5/5
The young man who checked us in was extremely helpful and friendly. He gave us recommendations for local dining and came immediately when we had issues with our tv. He was a very good ambassador for the hotel.
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay, the common areas were all clean and well maintained. The amenities were great. My family enjoyed the indoor pool and the breakfast is one of the better complimentary meals I’ve had in a hotel. For the location and price point this was an excellent stay and I would recommend it to others. That said, the room itself could have been better, the furniture all had obvious signs of wear and damage and the carpet had a lot of stains. While the room didn’t feel dirty, it also didn’t feel like it had been deep cleaned any time recently either. The windows were covered in streaks and handprints and when a pillow fell on the floor it came back with a lot of hair that wasn’t from my family.
- 5/5
The view from the property is gorgeous! The hotel was clean and the room was clean. We rested very well but we were dog tired. The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee was hot and kept full. We were refreshed and ready to hit the road. Ziggy at the front desk was kind and helpful. We will stay here again.
- 3/5
Noisy air conditioner.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
Great stay. Location was great. Wonderful view of the mountains. Nice breakfast. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.
- 4/5
The view
- 4/5
The breakfast most definitely can use an upgrade. I didn’t like having to waste a whole premade sandwich just to get sausage for my eggs.
- 5/5
We had a stop over and chat to do for the night. We have stayed at this location before. It’s just as we remembered, very clean, great breakfast, great staff. I don’t have anything negative to say about it. Only positive!
- 3/5
Found a long black hair on the bathroom floor and shower was not exactly clean
- 3/5
The breakfast is what lost stars. Was vegetarian options only.
- 5/5
Room and hotel very clean and well-appointed. Nice breakfast and location worked well for visit to Lookout Mountain. Thanks!
- 5/5
Convenient location. Nice room.
- 5/5
This morning, breakfast was outstanding at 6:30 A. M. The attendant was clearly visible and asked if we needed anything. She actively monitored all foods to replenish any items that were low. She cleaned tables, serving areas, and swept the floor consistently. It was truly a spotless place to dine and begin the day! Impressive!
- 5/5
This was exactly what we needed. We had a wonderful night sleep, great breakfast, and enjoyable conversation with staff and patrons. The lady at the front desk gave us some hints and ideas for the day of exploring the area. I will stay here again.
- 5/5
Standard, nice and clean. The breakfast was also good. Convinient to stay for a short trip.

It was a fast and easy check in. The kids loved the breakfast. My 7 year old did find someone’s used medication along with jelly beans and candy wraps along the bed closest to the air Conditioning unit. Everything else was clean and great service. We enjoyed to find out that police officers are encourage to come in and eat and check on the property. We are staying one more time on our way home
- 1/5
The room itself resembled only what I could describe as “a hotel room if someone had only been loosely described one in the distant past” the carpet, while sticky, felt as if it was holding the floor beneath us together. Multiple times throughout the night the smell of urine appeared and disappeared. The mattresses were sloped, but it’s summer and I do not ski. The pillows have seen better days, and I surmise those better days were 10 years ago. Every piece of furniture looked as though it came from a halfway home. The bathroom felt damp and sticky before we had run the shower, and the flickering light from the mirror was the cherry on top. This entire hotel felt as if it were an afterthought.
- 4/5
Clean, nice hotel. Front desk staff at check in was friendly and helpful. We reserved 5 suites and 1 room with 2 queens. They only had 3 suites available. So we got 3 suites and 3 queen rooms and she took $20 off the price of 2 of the rooms. We made it work. The breakfast was good but they ran out of waffle mix. Also a toilet got stopped up. They didn’t have anyone to plunge it, nor did they have a plunger. They sent us to the Hampton next door to get a plunger. There were only enough towels in the rooms for 3 people. The night front desk lady gladly gave me extra towels.
- 1/5
Our room tv and phone didn't work so after a debate we were moved to a different room. The new room had a musty smell and it was very loud, people were slamming doors and stomping around until 2:30am. The pool was gross and looked dirty, there was no air circulation in the pool area. Breakfast was undesirable. We ended up leaving early and went home.
- 4/5
Only stayed one night. room was spacious
- 5/5
Close to Rock City Garden, Ruby Falls and downtown Chattanooga.
- 5/5
Close to Rock City Garden, Ruby Falls and downtown Chattanooga.
- 4/5
The only recommendation I have is there needs to be better signage for driving in. Not much at all.
- 4/5
This hotel is in close proximity to Lookout Mountain, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. The hotel was clean and neat and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed the indoor pool after a long day of walking.
- 5/5
Very clean and quiet. Nice breakfast.
- 3/5
When we got to the room it smelled like someone was smoking pot right before we got there and the tv was on. It felt like the staff was lounging there before check in. Also, bathroom sink leaked on floor. Staff was great!!
- 5/5
Great property and view. Kiddo enjoyed the pool.
- 5/5
Room was rather small but nice. Staff were all professional and courteous. Facility was very clean. Breakfast was exceptional. Easy access to highway. Very pleased with stay.
- 4/5
The facility was very clean, the employees were very friendly. The pool was warm and enjoyable. The room was quiet and breakfast was good. No fruit loops for my grandson but the blueberry scones were delicious!
- 4/5
It was nice.
- 5/5
Beautiful view!!
- 5/5
Definitely recommend this hotel! Vacation to Chattanooga, close to Lookout Mountain attractions. Quiet, very clean and wonderful service. Got there right after 2:30pm and they let us check in right away. We are the complimentary breakfast for two days of our stay. Hot and cold options. Eggs, bacon, waffle station, bagels, toast, cereal, oatmeal, boiled eggs, multiple juice options, milk options and a coffee bar. The pool at this hotel is an indoor pool, no jacuzzi. Room was very big and nice, we had a king with the living room area.
- 3/5
The water had tons of bleach/chlorine and smelled. The TV only got a few channels even though there were lots of channels coming up. We were there for some R&R and the TV options were terrible. The AC in the room would only get to about 69 degrees (we like to sleep in a cold room) and it had the old unit that would kick on every time the temp needed to be regulated. The pillows were like sleeping on an empty envelope and had no support at all. The breakfast was ok. We will probably pick a different place to stay next time we are in the area.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating! We checked in late and left early but not before eating breakfast. It was just right!
- 5/5
Great place to stay. We stayed an extra night. The front desk lady was amazing.
- 4/5
Overall stay was good. Comfortable bed, nice and clean linens. Bathroom has everything we need. Breakfast included is a plus. Coffee and hot water for tea were always available. Indoor pool, and small gym available. Friendly staffs. Nice location.
- 4/5
Nice location but could use updating
- 5/5
My stay at Fairfield was a great stay from time of check in til check out the receptionist was a great host the room was amazing the breakfast was great even the lady that prepared the breakfast and made sure everything was out and stocked was great I would most definitely stay here again
- 4/5
Interstate noise very loud other than that everything was great super friendly staff just do not try the Chinese across the street it was cold nc horrible
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable 1- night stay. Safe area.
- 3/5
Room was dated and clean . Carpet was the killer. Musty smelling and dirty.
- 5/5
Great stay! The rooms were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great too. A perfect hotel!
- 2/5
No bath towels were in the room. Had to go to front desk and get them. A/C did not work in the room
- 5/5
The staff I encountered was easy to work with and quite helpful. The room is comfortable.
- 5/5
super good breakfast. wonderful staff
- 5/5
The staff was very helpful and even helped us get a room with a Kingsized bed when the app said it wasn’t available. Very clean! Bed was comfortable! Close to the interstate. Nice view. Breakfast was limited but plenty! Would NOT recommend the Waffle House that is close by.
- 5/5
Nice quite clean hotel. Great location on the hill
- 5/5
Desk clerk very helpful
- 5/5
Super clean and well worth it!
- 5/5
Very nice
- 1/5
We got there and the air condition did not work. We did not know that after we turned it on we went to sleep well the AC never kept the room cold and didn’t blow any air asked for a new room and they were unable to give us one. The staff lady at the desk said she was sorry but she could give us a fan so we took the fan and didn’t sleep the rest of the night. I don’t think I would ever stay there again, she said it was all on Expedia, but the problem was the hotels air condition did not work not Expedia fault. When I asked to get some things settled, they said I would have to go to Expedia that it wasn’t their problem.
- 5/5
Good stay, comfortable room, quiet stay!
- 4/5
Solid room, nothing that stands out but nothing to complain about. Clean, decent condition, good staff, standard breakfast, all at a good price.
- 5/5
Convenient and Clean

Newer building—clean, nice view.
