Worst AC Hotel experience. I have had much better experiences with other AC Hotels. This stay damaged the brand. This hotel needs a lot of fundamentals fixed and updated.

The hotel is in a great location, making it easy and convenient to get around. Everything was clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.
- 5/5
Great location
- 4/5
The room was clean so no issues there. Things I noticed: The button panel in the elevator was loose. Our door wasnt super easy to close and the door handle was loose. The tub (yes bath tub) had areas where the porcelain pealed. You could see the black underneath. There was also missing baseboard tiles in the restroom. Probably damaged and never replaced from the shower curtain not being closed properly when in use. Otherwise, no complaints.

I’d stay there again without a doubt

The hotel staff was lovely, we arrived and the staff was very informative and wasn’t worried about anything. We loved being at the pool, relaxing and working out at the gym both were really clean and tidy. The morning breakfast was spectacular, there was a lady there who made the experience even better she’s Hispanic and helped us with any lingering questions we had. Sad I didn’t get a chance to get her name but she was more than accommodating. Absolutely will return in my next travel to Chicago.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a great service and loved how close it was to everything. Would definitely go back.

This is hotel is a “ need something quick “ hotel. It’s not the newest, but it’s not the worst. It could be cleaner and a little bit better kept.

We checked in and had to move rooms 3 times because the rooms were dirty. The staff downstairs were rude and not helpful, despite me explaining it was my fiancés birthday and we had reservations at a certain time for his celebration and needed the help with the room as soon as possible. I came to the front desk, multiple times, asking when they would come up and fix the room. Almost 3 hours later, It took me finding the district manager in the hallway, for me to finally get help cleaning up the room. There was mold on the shower curtain, stains on the sheets. After they provided brand new sheets and changed the curtain, the district manager did compensate us with 1 night free. But the hotel staff downstairs was still funny towards us the remaining of our stay. Would not stay here again.

The hotel is in an excellent location, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is overpriced for being a basic, outdated hotel, and the breakfast buffet is similarly overpriced for the quality and variety of the food.

- 4/5
The room was nice. The wall paper needed to be redone. The chair in front of the wall had scratched it up pretty bad. Other than that the room was nice
- 5/5
Air conditioner didn’t work the first day but they sent out a repair person quickly to complete fix it.
- 5/5
The hotel staff was so kind. I had called asking if they would hold my bags until check in so we could explore the city and to my surprise was allowed to check in at 11am!! The staff was so so kind, always greeting when we were coming and going. They also offered to hold our bags after check out until we were ready to leave the city. Incredible staff and so much appreciated!!!!
- 5/5
hotel was clean the staff was nice and accommodating. the location was perfect! close to pretty much everything. Mag. Mile was the next block up and navy pier was about a 20 min walk or 5-10 min drive

We could not adjust the A/C at all. It was 72 and if we could not get it any lower.
- 5/5
The location is great if you’re sightseeing in Chicago. Close walking distance to the magnificent mile, riverwalk, bean, harbor walk and more. Convenient Uber pick up spot right in front of hotel. Paid parking with in and out access available.
- 3/5
The room was fine. Breakfast is NOT included. You have to pay $17 a person even when you are staying there. We stayed for 6 days, they only cleaned the room twice, and had to ask for towels several times before we actually got any. There were 3 of us that stayed. The nice part was at the end of the stay though they gave us one day off our total.

Staff was amazing and friendly. Room could have been cleaned better. Old bar of soap was left in the shower. The Netflix in the TV would load and the iron didn’t work. The rest of the room was clean and bed was comfortable.

The room itself was on the 8th floor, very nice but the lighting was lacking. There was only overhead light in the entryway. Additionally, the elevators are slow despite there being three of them. I'd stay here again despite all that.
- 3/5
Bed was hard and low to the ground. The bathroom/shower was awesome- had overhead and handheld.
- 5/5
Great service!! Everyone was so nice!
- 2/5
Safe box in the room did not work. I requested to have it repaired or replaced but replacement did not work neither. Then they requested me to be at the room to have the safe box repaired, but I did not have time to do it, so I spent the whole stay without safe box. The forgot to make the room one day. Staff are friendly but it looks to me that more or better supervision is required at this hotel.
- 5/5
Staff was super friendly. Comfort and close to restaurants and the Casino.
- 4.5/5
well updated continental breakfast and parking were extra charges
- 2/5
Very nice hotel I just didn’t understand why they only had two elevators and on top of that they only hold about 5-6 people, most of the guest had to wait 3-4 minutes just for the elevator, I found that extremely inconvenient, my room was way to far from the elevator as well I also found that inconvenient, overall everything was good.
- 5/5
Breakfast was lovely! The staff was very helpful and gave us great directions to the most amazing pizza
- 5/5
Like how big our room was, loved the shower, the fact that they would hold your bags for you and the location. The pool was so/so.
- 0.5/5
The location was fabulous. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Had to wait till the end of the meal to have sausage. The hotel claims to accept people with disabilities. Not true. We arrived on a Friday at around 5pm, I informed the front desk we were there with our 2 autistic granddaughters and their emotional support mini goldendoodle. 4 hours later while my husband and I were out enjoying our 40th Anniversary one of my granddaughters had a mental meltdown at bedtime (due to a different environment) it lasted approximately 15-20 minutes till she was calm by her dad and uncle and ready for sleep. During which time their security guard came pounding on the door stating "if I have to come back up here I will throw all of you out of this hotel". Keep in mind it was 26 degrees at the time and 9pm on a Friday night. (Noise complaint that turned out to be unsubstantiated and changed to the security guard was walking by. 2 different stories for one incident). They claim they are pet friendly. Not true. Pet friendly if your pet doesn't EVER make a peep. One occasion we had been gone for 15 minutes when I got a call stating our dog had been barking for hours, we turned and went back to a sleeping dog. Second time while eating breakfast at the hotel I received a call stating the neighbor stated our dog was "whining" uncontrollably. My son was in the shower while our dog was asleep. This hotel is neither pet friendly nor accepting of people with disabilities. Although the hotel comped 2 nights at departure and gave us some food vouchers for cold breakfast that was suppose to be hot, it didnt change the fact due to the incident and threat made to our children and our granddaughters, my husband and I were not able to have any time to ourselves to enjoy Chicago for our Anniversary. Regardless, no hotel or business should threaten to put a 9 and 12 year old autistic children on the sidewalks of Chicago.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed staying here. Great location for seeing Chicago! All the staff we interacted with were super friendly! Room wasn’t anything fancy, but it was clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend.
- 2/5
Key cards didn’t work to get into the pool. Fridge is ridiculously tiny and couldn’t go below 56 degrees. We waited behind an angry family trying to argue charges at checkout for over 20 minutes. We will not stay here again!!!!

- 5/5
Breakfast was good and the staff was fantastic.
- 3/5
Clean room, staff was helpful - kind of. We had a neighbor with a dog who was barking for hours continuously, making it hard to fully enjoy our stay.
- 4.5/5
The property was very clean and welcoming and near a lot of places. I liked everything.
- 5/5
Good location
- 5/5
The hotel can't really help it, but I heard police and fire truck sirens starting at 5:00 AM.
- 5/5
Would stay again. The kids loved the pool as well
- 5/5
The hotel was located within walking distance of most of the "touristy" places we wanted to see. Walking distance to so many great restaurants, the staff was so helpful with restaurant recommendations and everyone we encountered were so friendly. The breakfast buffet was reasonable priced and the food was good.
- 2/5
Had trouble getting into the room, door lock was not working properly and was loose. Room small and had little storage area. Room had no views Floors poorly laid, bathroom door did not have a lock, swimming pool moldy and only 3 feet to 3 and a half feet deep. Beds very uncomfortable and not a lot to offer. Overall would not recommend to family or friends.

Location & price
- 5/5
One block away from magnificent mile. Perfect location and 5 minute walk to CTA Red line. Staff were very friendly. Emily is fantastic and help make my long stressful travel day a bit more enjoyable.
- 4.5/5
Location is excellent. Staff was responsive and accommodating.
- 3/5
We also had an issue with the heat not working when we first got into the room and had to call someone to come fix it. The staff did address it, but it added to the overall feeling that the stay wasn’t as smooth as it could have been. Parking was also quite expensive at about $70 for 24 hours, although I understand that’s fairly typical for downtown Chicago. One positive was the location. There were several places within walking distance including Walgreens, CVS, restaurants like Shake Shack and TGI Fridays, and even a Trader Joe’s in the same building, which was really convenient. Overall, the stay was okay, but it just didn’t live up to the experience I had at other AC Hotels.
- 5/5
Met the general manager three times throughout our stay. He was on top of everything and ensured a great experience. Good location close to red line subway.
- 1/5
Our stay was disappointing. Our room was never cleaned, and when we called the front desk that morning to report it, nothing was done. It wasn’t until we went down to the lobby in person that anyone started to be somewhat helpful. Even when we returned later, the issue still hadn’t been handled properly. Basic housekeeping and better communication from the front desk would have made a big difference in our experience.
- 5/5
Great spot for our Chicago weekend. Lovely staff, location our room…Husband was concerned about the shallow’ish pool but ended up loving it for swimming laps each morning. On-site parking made our trip stress free and was worth every penny. Thank You AC Hotels for another great get away.

location, room service,
- 4/5
Excellent location and the hotel was nice. Not the fanciest but met all my needs. Particularly liked that fact the hotel is above a Trader Joe’s, which was very convenient.
- 3/5
Bathroom door has no latch. No lock and large cracks. So if you’re staying with a toddler then good luck keeping them out of the bathroom or getting any sort of privacy while using the restroom.
- 5/5
Location was Awesome!!! Loved that the room had an actual refrigerator and more than sufficient outlets. The lighting was a little dim except for the bathroom so I couldn’t see very well to do my hair.
- 3/5
It was ok.
- 5/5
The stay was amazing!! Everything was spotless in the room and the view was beautiful from the window looking at downtown Chicago. Everything was next to the hotel: shopping, eating and museums! The staff were amazing and kind. The pool and fitness areas were great. I enjoyed my stay a lot and recommend it.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing! Staff was nice. Room was clean!
- 5/5
Great location, friendly staff, clean & modern rooms.

Great location,
- 2/5
The staff was wonderful - but the cleanliness of this hotel was very poor. There was dust covering the legs of the furniture pieces. We pulled out our couch to a bed and the mattress cover/pad had two stains on it. It had an earring stud on it - so it clearly had not been washed. We did not use it and instead squeezed 3 kids into one bed. Our toilet was clogged when we went into our room. The front desk was super apologetic and fixed it while we were out. Then when we got back - it was clogged the first time one of our kids used the bathroom. Again - they fixed it really quick - but this hotel needs some work. We would not stay here again.
- 4/5
Location is close to a lot Parking price. And it’s not a secure building. We had someone blocking our vehicle in and left the car then ran back and took off. It was weird
- 4/5
I chose this hotel over similar hotels in the area because it had a pool and a fridge in the room. As an allergy suffer, I liked that the room did not have carpet. It proved to be a great location for my needs.
- 5/5
Second time there. Will stay again 100%.
- 2/5
When I got there the chargers only work with Tesla and my Mustang Mach E could not be charged. Staff told I would need to park im another place to be able to charge my vehicle
- 5/5
The location and the staff
- 5/5
I loved the hotel! Such a great deal and location for the price. Special shoutout to the evening shift front desk staff Cody and Devonte for making my stay extra warm and special!!!
- 3/5
I loved the staff especially the woman working on the breakfast buffet. The coffee was so fresh and the way the food was rotated had me wow. A nice European mix style. The beds were horrible. It was like a cot in a campground. For the price of the stay I would expect a comfortable bed. I also asked for extra towels twice and never received them. Last the room had a weird way of keeping warm like it would spit cold ac air. Like what was going on. Called and nobody came.
- 3/5
Breakfast was by far the highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the pool and fitness center as well. Unfortunately, we had multiple issues with cleanliness - our bathroom tub was lined with hair and dirt. Staff promptly moved us and the second room was thankfully in better shape. However on the second day of our stay, we found the replacement bedsheets were moldy. It was late at night and took multiple attempts to get clean, correctly sized sheets. I was very disappointed bc the hotel is so well located and the amenities are lovely, but hygiene isn’t a negotiable point - I doubt we will return (we were in town for an annual event).
- 3/5
Room was clean, staff was amazing, but only thing was that we had asked them to tidy up the room when we went out from brunch and when we came back nothing was touched. Ended up having to call
- 5/5
Staff was great

Nice staff, fabulous location so close to lots on Michigan ave!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great hotel for a group. Conveniently located.
- 4/5
Check-in and out was quick; the room was basic but clean and comfortable. The shower was incredibly relaxing.
- 5/5
I absolutely love this hotel! The location is perfect, the staff was extremely friendly, and it was very clean. I also love the parking garage attached! Super convenient!
- 5/5
This hotel was centrally located to all the activities we had planned for our brief stay.
- 5/5
Great location, staff, and room was clean

Good location.
- 5/5
Clean room, good staff. Overall excellent place to stay.
- 3/5
Coffee cup lids did not fit the coffee cups. We had quite a spill. The front desk was very friendly and did send up items as requested but housekeeping really lacked
- 5/5
great location, clean bedroom/bathroom, friendly front desk staff
- 5/5
Comfortable, relativley quiet for being downtown. Conveniently located next to a coffee shop, grocery store, and more. Short walk to the L, 20 minute walk to millenium park.
- 5/5
.
- 2/5
Check in was delayed by nearly an hour due to room not being ready and room itself still had litter from previous guests' stay. We were given a complimentary drink and the bar staff were friendly and empathetic to our situation.
- 5/5
Great location, easy access, convenient parking with direct hotel access. Easy check in, rooms clean, quiet.
- 5/5
Great location for attractions
- 5/5
Great staff
- 3/5
The room was good as expected. Pillows were too soft and flat. And our bathroom sink drain was slow. Otherwise everything was fine.
- 5/5
Our first time staying, great location, staff was friendly and the room was spacious and clean. Will definitely stay again
- 1/5
Bathroom are dirty, aircon is noisy, tv acting weird, has sounds but no pictures, no free breakfasts have to pay $18 per head.
- 5/5
Clean room. Breakfast buffet worth the price. Everyone in the hotel was very nice. Great location right off mag mile.
- 5/5
The room was overpriced BUT i absolutely loved it and the area
- 5/5
Clean room, easy check in. Great location
- 3/5
The pull out bed had a sheet on it that had long black hairs on it and it really grossed us out.
- 5/5
Clean Room wood smell nice staff
- 2/5
The hotel is worn down and beaten. The doors need to be rammed open and the floor in the rooms aren't great. The person who checked me is was not polite in the slightest. I'll be looking somewhere else the next time I travel to Chicago.
- 5/5
Great location, easy access,
- 4/5
Room was spotless, female receptionist, although not rude but when I asked her a question she didnt hesitate to say no. I then asked where else I could ask for that question, she replied by saying" I don't know". I guess Im Old fashioned and being a reception you need some people skills..besides that, everything else was great.
- 5/5
Getting to check-in early was HUGE. Thank you!
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
Staff and services were great. But outside traffic noise was terrible as outside walls are not soundproof. Interrupted sleep. Would not stay at this hotel again
- 4/5
Clean, great location!
- 3/5
Internet TV 📺 is very slow. The floor was in bad condition.
- 5/5
Staff at the desk and the housekeeping staff were all first rate.
- 3/5
Room wasn’t in the best condition. Sink was cracked and not appealing, floor boards were raised in some areas, room door was hard to get in and out of dealing with the key.
- 5/5
Hotel was in a great location. Staff was universally friendly. Our room at the back of the hotel was dark and street noise was wild. Does every vehicle in Chicago have a siren?
- 3/5
Staff was very helpful in getting us checked in early. Location is great for walkability to bars and restaurants. Problem is the proximity to the fire station and the paper thin windows. Even with hubby’s CPAP, AC fan on high, and white noise, I might as well have had the emergency vehicles in the room with me. Literally didn’t sleep from 1245a to 445a when I had to get up for an early morning flight. If you stay, ask for a room that doesn’t look out onto Ontario St.
- 4/5
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only disappointment was the pool which needs some updating.
- 5/5
Yes
- 2/5
Problems with the AC leaking in one of our rooms, bed extremely uncomfortable, TV didn’t work at times. Noisy guests.

- 5/5
This hotel was idea for our stay, clean, comfortable, stylish but understated, very conveniently located downtown and the staff was all very helpful.
- 5/5
Clean room with extra blankets and towels without asking. Large room but small bathroom with no tub. Very central and walkable.
- 4/5
Bathroom / bath tub drainage was very slow.
- 5/5
Clean and very convenient
- 5/5
All good … don’t prefer lvt flooring.
- 5/5
Clean, friendly and beautifully kocated
- 5/5
Room and bathroom was clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful providing directions.
- 4/5
Need to clean the rooms better
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly. Clean and comfortable rooms
- 3/5
The photo of the hotel is much better than the reality. The lobby is small and not air-conditioned. The gym was small and contained a few broken machines. The buffet breakfast was european style with only a few items of food. The rooms were functional so that they could be cleaned quickly. It served its purpose but many better choices can be found in the neighborhood.
- 5/5
Great!
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful, and the rooms are quite nice. It is easy to walk to restaurants. Michigan Avenue is within walking distance.

- 5/5
Great location in downtown Chicago! Close to museums, restaurants, and the lake. Room size was excellent. Would definitely recommend it.

Didn't love they only had breakfast, no room service, and no dinner service.
- 5/5
Our stay at AC Hotels by Marriott Chicago Downtown was amazing! The hotel was in a great location (within walking distance to Michigan Ave, shopping, and restaurants) and we were very pleased! The hotel also had convenient on site parking. We will definitely stay here again when visiting the city!
- 3/5
First of all the receptionist was not friendly. There are also weird rules about housekeeping. I had a don't disturb sign on the door until 10 am, then I leave for some reason if you have that sign noone shows up after. Also if your bed has any personal items on it they would not make the bed up. Alos first day i went into the bathroom, there was a hair band on the floor and someone hair. I

Great location. One block from Michigan Ave
- 5/5
We had to ask them to mop the room, but overall it was nice
- 5/5
Great location!
- 5/5
Great location! And staff was awesome!
- 4/5
Very walkable especially to Trader Joe’s! We did hear a lot of sirens most nights. One night there was a fire alarm at 1am we tried to contact the front desk to confirm since it only rang one and we were on the top floor but there wasn’t any answer so we assumed it was a false alarm. Other than that our stay was very pleasant!
- 3/5
We stayed 5 nights We only had our room cleaned once despite us telling reception We reported the broken coffee machine on our first morning and it took a further 3 days for a new one to arrive . It was a shame , could be better
- 5/5
Muy bien.
- 3/5
Was disappointed that that dry cleaning/ laundry service was available but when i called about they laundry i was told that only the dry cleaning us available. I also thought that $17 person for breakfast was a little on the high side after the price for the hotel room.
- 3/5
The host for breakfast were great.
- 5/5
Really nice hotel in a great location. Only gripe is that the ice machine was broken and they didn’t post where to get it so I wandered on a few floors. Staff were nice and check in and out were a breeze. Room’s AC was amazing!
- 4/5
affordable
- 4/5
This hotel was very convenient walkable to everything. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. Rosemary at the hotel bar gave us a lot of tips and place to go and see. She makes a great Espresso Martin as well :)
- 3/5
Rooms slightly dated but very spacious
- 4/5
A lot of car alarms and loud pedestrian and motor vehicle traffic.
- 5/5
🙏❤️
- 5/5
Close to everything! Everyone was so nice!
- 5/5
This hotel was amazing for our stay during Lollapalooza! We were walking distance from the festival and food and had plenty to do around the area.
- 5/5
So good
- 4/5
Great location, close to restaurants , shopping , coffee shops and supermarkets . Service was excellent , parking expensive as expected to be in downtown. Unfortunately noise from outside didn’t allow us to sleep well, you can hear almost every car that pass by or police with sirens on . If you are looking to have a good night sleep this is not the right place. We definitely enjoyed our time around but noisy in the room at night was very loud .
- 2/5
We stayed during Lollapalooza, the hotel was packed. Our room
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Great location, and a quiet, comfortable room.
- 5/5
The only drawback is no free breakfast, but that is understandable for a hotel at downtown area…
- 5/5
In fact throughout our 5 day trip we only did ride share once after a long day at the pier. Would stay again.
- 3/5
The complimentary parking and staff were great!
- 4/5
It was great for a quick stay! Remodeled bathrooms would be my only feedback.
- 5/5
Very good location!!!
- 4/5
Great stay! Very well located in Chicago. A short was to the subway stations and near lots of restaurants and sightseeing.
- 5/5
Great hotel in a great location near Michigan Ave and the "L". Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Would love a microwave in the room but not a huge deal.

When they came in to clean they didn’t take out our trash or sweep the floors. So by the end of our stay we were walking around on gritty floors and had to get our own trash bag from the front desk to take our own trash out because it had piled up so much. Also, the surprise $60 a night for parking that added a huge chunk to our bill that we weren’t expecting. Not horrible, not great, wouldn’t book there again.

It was great.

Strange bathroom but otherwise nice room. Parking was far because my van didn't fit in the garage.

The property is not worth the price that was paid, in my opinion. Even though the room had a semi-updated look, the hotel as a whole needs a facelift. Upon entry, there is the worst looking brown leather couch, as though it has been there for many decades. It is a complete eye sore. The carpeting on the way to the elevator and room has visual stains that are in need of being deep cleaned. The floor in the elevator was dirty. The lighting in the hallway is also dim and gives off an eerie feeling. As stated, the room appears updated at first glance, but looking closer, it isn’t. The furniture is outdated. Some positives were that there was a refrigerator in the room and the water gets really hot in the shower. The bathroom area was also updated/facelifted. There was a refrigerator in the shower when I arrived, but the issue was solved promptly. Cleanliness of the room in general could’ve been better. There is breakfast offered, but at a steep price of $17 for a European style buffet. Besides this, there was complimentary coffee and croissants for breakfast that were free. The best thing about this hotel is the location due to all of the things to do within walking distance, as well as the beach being nearby. All in all, I will not be staying at this hotel if I’m ever back in the city.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful. We loved having all the places we could go sit and hang out.

Property is nice. Had reserved a single king room, received a double queen room. The laminate/vinyl flooring joints are coming apart. Everything else looks good

We stayed six nights. Housekeeping didn’t come two of those. The toilet seat was broken the entire time.

I was in town for my daughter's volleyball tournament from Friday to Sunday. We stayed here at the AC hotel walking distance to the pier. A lot of good food around the hotel things and activities to do. It was perfect

Expedia jumped my booking to August costing me $444 more to correct it to June 2nd, over $600 to stay for less than 10 hours
- 5/5
Great location and very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
Fixed an issue right away! Great location ! Clean
- 2/5
I was very upset about my recent stay here. The beds were very uncomfortable. The room did not have a tv remote when we checked in. The coffee maker broke after 1 day of use (just heating up water for tea). The swimming pool did not have steps, which we did not notice before booking and was unable to use with my sisters disability.
- 4/5
Room we stayed in had no lock in bathrooms but that’s not a big deal. Overall recommend the property to stay.
- 5/5
Amazing stay with husband for the Beyoncé concert. Nice clean & close to everything. Front desk staff were amazing. I will be back soon! Steps from the largest Starbucks!

So nice and clean.
- 5/5
Hotel staff is friendly and service is up notch. Hotel is easily accessible using transit. Riverwalk, famous architecture cruise, Melenium Park all are at walking distance.
- 5/5
Great location with lots of tourist spots nearby, we walked to pretty much everything in one day
- 5/5
Nice stay! Staff was very pleasant!
- 3/5
I guess you get what you pay for. I associate Marriott with quality but this was a disappointment. It was basic. The colors drab. The bed and pillows were flat and concave. We had to force the door open each time we came back to the room. Won’t be staying here again. However the staff were efficient and pleasant.

Great location, nice size room and lounge was a vibe
- 3/5
It was overall good but we did find a cockroach in our room.
- 2/5
The place is old, dingy and needs updated. The rooms are small and decor outdated. Coffee machine was broken and the sink would not drain. if you are just looking for location, it is ok.
- 5/5
Great location! Walking distance to shopping and restaurants
- 5/5
Great place to stay!!! Friendly staff, very good location.
- 5/5
It's convenient. Alot of businesses are walking distance from the hotel.

Had a reservation for 4, only 2 towels provided and when requested got an attitude from front desk and told it would take a couple minutes. They never showed up. The bed sheet has blood stain and unfortunately didn’t realize it until the morning. Let the attending manager know and they comped the parking but couldn’t do anything about the stay because it was a third party reservation. Pool also didn’t provide towels and when I requested them I was told they were being washed… Pool closed at 10pm and we left at 9:30 and the towels never showed up.

Pretty nice Place, clean Convenience ride on The Middle of Michigan Ave., Boris White No Se, si de salara construcción, Brother de Dad Everything Is Just a Hundred Percent perfect
- 2/5
I’m mainly unsatisfied with my stay because our smoke alarm went off at 2:00am. We were startled awake, and had to turn it off. It went off again about 25 minutes later. All in all, the maintenance guy who came to the room told us to call the desk to be moved. We were given a new room by 3:00am and had difficulty sleeping after this chaos.
- 5/5
Great location in the city. Walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Great for the price.
- 5/5
In the future, I will ask for a room with a better view. However, everything else was perfect for the price and staff was wxceptionally polite and helpful!

Amazing location and as close to Mag Mile as one can get without being on the main street. Rooms are generous and well designed. Love the indoor pool!

Loved it! We wanted to experience chi town for one night and we got it! The bars manager was amazing! Always had a smile on his face! Good conversations! He made our 9th anniversary one to remember! Great breakfest very affordable! The staff was very helpful too! Comfortable bed and clean rooms! Didnt sleep well but when you are from a small quiet town that will happen!

Very Clean Hotel. Room Was Very Spacious. It Was Close To Everything. Loved the Complimentary Parking!
- 5/5
The room was spacious (although double beds were all that was available, preferred queens) with a fridge, although we missed an in-room microwave. The staff was super respectful, friendly, and helpful.

Loved we could stay parked at the hotel after our checkout time so we could continue to explore the city
- 5/5

The pictures are misleading. I thought I was going to die at 3am from aggressive people in the hallway. Pool most definitely contained the bubonic plague. Overall a waste of money.
- 5/5
Wish the parking wasn’t so expensive but seems to be that way everywhere in Chicago. Hotel was beautiful, clean, beds were comfy, could not complain. Front desk staff was beyond helpful even at 6am. Absolutely would stay there again.
- 5/5
Had a wonderful time and staff was great! Room was perfect!
- 5/5
Great location close to many shops and restaurants. Extremely walkable area and many choices in a very close proximity. Room was large and clean.
- 5/5
I would definitely recommend this hotel. Close to everything. Staff allowed us to check in early.
- 2/5
The breakfast included is not a breakfast and cold. The room is not according to the price. I won’t come back.
- 5/5
Walking distance to all attractions, restaurants and the Bean.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Room was available earlier than check in. Great location.

The AC Is Beautiful I Enjoyed My Stay
- 5/5
Perfect location!
- 5/5
It was a great location - walkable to our favorite spots.
- 5/5
I liked everything about this hotel so many places to eat from the beds was so fluffy and comfortable the room was so cozy you get a refrigerator too!
- 4/5
This hotel was clean, conveniently located, and reasonably priced by Chicago standards. Staff members were polite and responsive. We did not use the pool, and did not visit the breakfast room as it was $14/person 😕. The bathroom was immaculate, but for some reason it had a translucent swinging door that did not close or lock - very odd. Otherwise everything was fine.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and was perfect for a family of six to experience Chicago for an evening!
- 5/5
Amazing experience
- 5/5
We came to celebrate Christmas in Chicago and the AC hotel was great! Location was a block off Michigan Ave and close to eateries and tons of shopping! The only downside to it is that it’s close to a hospital so you may hear ambulances but they come and go quickly! Great stay!
- 5/5
I just love the vibe this hotel has.
- 5/5
Very clean property, kind and helpful staff! There were issues with the elevators during our stay however technical issues like that can pop up at any property at any time and I do not feel that something like that warrants a down grade on rating. Thanks for a great stay!
- 5/5
Good job
- 5/5
Convenient to the Magnificent Mile. Room was clean and quiet
- 4/5
Great rates in a great location downtown but WAY too noisy. Got no sleep whatsoever.
- 3/5
Great location. It's nice there's a pool but wish there was a hot tub. Also no cameras in pool so at night there were people passing and drinking alcohol with glass bottles so we didn't use the pool. Also, bathroom door has no lock and is see they and no bathroom fan
- 4/5
Went there for an evening. Pool was very crowded and a group of kids were very loud and out of control. Kept screaming and it echoed. Group of people came down and a couple from this group pretty much were making out to the point I thought they were going to go all the way so I took my daughter and left the pool. Hotel was ok. Smelled like stale cigarette smoke and bed was not comfortable. Clean for the amount of traffic in the property.
- 5/5
Very clean . Elevator problems. But allowing guests to use the service elevator was nice. All staff I spoke were courteous and helpful. Would recommend to friends and family. I would definitely stay here again.

Was an amazing area

It’s was European style hotel with European style beds. They were very small other than that. It was a great location great parking and the buffet was European style. Not my choice but overall OK hotel.

Wow! What a disappointment! We stayed at an AC hotel in Marin County California in March and loved it. Expected the same level of amenities, decor, facilities. We were hugely disappointed. The so-called business centers in the middle of the lobby and has a non-functioning printer and no scanner. The room next to ours was under construction, and it was a constant source of noise. And there was construction right outside the front door, which could be clearly heard through our exterior window eight stories up. We had requested a mobility friendly room. That room was the literal last room, the furthest from the elevator on our floor. Clearly an old hotel in desperate need of a major overhaul. Some cosmetic improvements have been made. The bathroom was nice. But this is not up to the standards of the other AC hotel that we experienced earlier in the year. The location was great with fantastic dining in the neighborhood. But there are also plenty of other hotels in that neighborhood, which is where we will be next time we’re in Chicago.
- 3/5
Day 2 the elevator was down for 2 days which was a hastle since we were on the 8th floor with a pet There were water spots on our ceiling and, the bathroom door did not shut. The front desk stopped answering the call when we were waiting 10-15 min for the elevator The best part of our experience was the lounge during Happy Hour and Events. Andrew our bartender was knowledgeable on area restaurants, events and we had great conversation.
- 3/5
THE PLACE NEED TO BE UPDATED REPLACE OR CLEAN HALL WAY CARPETS & PAINT IS NEEDED IN HALLWAYS & ROOMS. THE PHONES IN ROOMS ARE NOT GOOD EITHER.
- 4/5
Nice facility, great location. Pool was cold.
- 3/5
The time we stay, the elevators were not working properly, in general it was not the best experience
- 4/5
The best part of the stay was the staff at the bar Saturday evening and the breakfast on Tuesday. They were both very friendly and attentive. The worst part of our stay was the smell in our room. I think a previous group had cooked in our room. The smell hung around for our entire stay.
- 2/5
There is an odor of the room as musky maybe due to being old. I had a roll in shower king bed room. But The shower head is far from the seat itself its located on the opposite direction. So I asked for a shower chair from front desk. They said that they dont have one. When I visited Seattle I also stayed at Marriott and same thing happened. The housekeeping brainstormed when I asked for a shower chair. Though they didn’t have one but they bought one from Walgreens to accommodate my needs and request. This Marriott in Chicago, they just bluntly says they don’t have one. I told them that I still needed it. I hanged up and expecting someone will follow up with me regarding the status of my request. Unfortunately I never heard from front desk and until we checked out no one had the courtesy to follow up on it. Good thing my husband can stretch the shower hose to the opposite corner that I was able to take a shower. But it was hard. Now I know I will never use Marriott and will just stick to my usual the Hiltons Hotels brand.
