The bartender, Ruby, is thoughtful. She encouraged us to enjoy the beautiful weather outside and took us out to the patio and brought drinks to us and continued checking on us. We didn’t even know there was a patio. The beds are always comfortable and nice shower.

The Staff!! I can’t say enough great things about the staff at this Courtyard. They were all amazing, customer-focused, and extremely professional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with kindness and immediate assistance from the Valet. The check-in process - she was so sweet and offered us perfect recommendations. Elana! LOVED her. She really goes above and beyond. Overall, we loved our stay. Three ladies traveling to Chicago for the weekend - we felt safe in this hotel and the surrounding community.

If your stay is because your visiting a patient at Rush or U of I hospitals let them know at check-in.

Everything was perfect nothing out of place and staff was wonderful helping and polite.

Easy and non hectic stay. The staff was really nice and kept our bags secure and safe before even being checked into our room. Second time staying here and loved it. The room was nice and neat, no issues. Parking we did not park there but they are friendly and accommodating. The bar was good the service was good

Friendly and helpful staff! We stayed there after my husband’s surgery at a nearby hospital. The extra kindness of the front desk receptionists, the valet/shuttle driver and the housekeeper manager were greatly appreciated at a stressful time.

The on site restaurant and bar was beautiful and friendly and really elevated our short stay. Check in and the on site Starbucks machine was nice too. The $10 bottle of water. Seems unnecessary.

They pumped a scent into their lobby that was very strong and really set off my allergies. It took at least an hour of being out of the lobby for my headache and allergies to calm down. They need to turn down the strength of the scent and better yet, change it to be something that doesn’t set off allergies - a clean fresh scent or lemon, etc.

Clean room, comfy beds, but $40 for "valet" parking and even though they talk aboujt breakfast at check-in, fail to mention it isn't complimentary/continental, but for purchase from the lobby "bistro. IMO, too expensive for not getting any of that.

When checking out, I asked as to why someone tried to charge my card twice overnight and the receptionist just said she doesnt know. Thankfully the charges didnt go through!! But we wont be staying here again :(

Lovely hotel. Clean, spacious, secure, pretty, very comfortable bed.

The prices for food and drinks at bar are expensive. It’s opened for breakfast and drinks, dinner and snacks at night. The bartender who takes orders, waitresses and bartends is very sweet and friendly young lady. The staff at front desk and both of the valets are Rock Stars! Friendly, helpful, kind, and respectful. They demonstrate excellent customer service which lacks often in society today. There are restaurants within walking distance if your mobility is good. You are able to find transportation if it’s an issue Luke it is for me currently. When we visit Rush, this will be our “go to” hotel.

Staff was polite and the location was close to the United Center with a courtesy shuttle.

Pillow top mattresses were too soft and not comfortable. Toilet flushing worked in slow motion. Shower door base really needed a good scrubbing as mold was very visible. Heat vent on wall needed to be cleaned. These are things people notice in hotel rooms.

The corridors were rather dark and the wifi didnt work. The bed was quite comfy and the staff friendly.

The room was clean but I found a dirty rag in the corner of the bathtub. Also they MAKE you pay for valet parking which is a $40 a day hidden cost instead of parking on the property. Not only that but they made me give them my car keys which I didn’t want to do. Other than that, no other issues.

Check in Entrance was hard to find. Parking was lousy. Trash in the hallways. Valet parking was so slow we missed the first half our of the event we were there to attend. People in the next room were extremely loud.

We stayed at the parking garage for the medical center across the street for $20 a day. Air conditioning sucked. Staff are just ok.

Nice enough of a hotel for the price but I found 50 dollars a night to park a bit expensive. They don’t supply free coffee other than what is in the room. There isn’t a free breakfast and the breakfast menu is expensive.

Not a bad stay at all. I stayed here with my daughter for a couple days after being discharged from the hospital. It was quiet and comfy. The desk staff were very friendly, as well as the valet team. I will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel.

No parking, like ain’t no one want to park in the hospital at night and walk the longish walk to the hotel it’s dark where that parking lot is located and also that fact that you have to pay for parking in the lot of the hotel is ridiculous.. like we’re already paying for the night and to an extra for parking.. no sir never going back to that hotel.

I had a nice experience rate a 8/10. The only thing I disliked is the shuttle bus only can drop you off only within a 1 mile radius.

The beds were uncomfortable, staff was unfriendly, and there was a terrible inconvenience. Someone vomited outside my hotel room and the hotel was unable to clean it, nor offer an accommodation that made sense.

It was an easy place to stay,

We were stranded on a connecting flight due to weather, so came in tired and frustrated. The staff was so helpful and supportive! Offered toothbrushes and amenities since everything was in our luggage!

Shuttle service hours were extended allowing my daughter and all other attendees to go to and from the popular K-Pop concert at United Center Arena and come back safety to your premises. Truly appreciated.

The hotel only have one elevator in use. The air conditioning in 303 don’t work correctly.

Overall, I would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5 due to the limited accommodations offered. One downside was the valet-only parking option, which cost $40 per night—a bit steep in my opinion. The alternative was a parking ramp a block away, which isn't ideal when you're hauling luggage and personal items through a busy, congested area. Another disappointment was the lack of complimentary coffee, which I believe should be standard at any hotel. Despite these drawbacks, our stay was decent overall, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

Very clean lobby, easy check in, most of the staff were friendly, rooms were clean and beds were so comfy!! Only thing i truly missed was there was no body/hand lotion. They had everything else in the room, but, no lotion. And winter in Chicago requires it! It sits in the heart of the meddical district, so walking to any of the buildings is totally doable!

This hotel was exceptional. From the staff to the extra clean rooms. A big plus was the shuttle to the United Center. They even stayed late to pick us up. The valet employees were great. All in all I highly recommend.

The room was clean, the self-serve coffee in-room was good, it was quiet, and the staff was friendly. Bed was not comfortable and the pillows were horrid—airy, puffy blobs that immediately deflated, not my preference. It had a decent location for our needs, and the price was right. Once I borrowed a better pillow from a friend in the area, I could sleep. Had I depended on the hotel pillows, I wouldn’t have slept at all probably. Overall, I would stay there again; I’d just bring my own pillow.

Location is be very good, close to metro and have certain good restaurants two blocks behind. Hotel has shuttle bus which can send you within 1 mile. Room is cozy but a bit noisy can hear toilet flush from the next room. Staff are very helpful and cheerful. It’s a pleasant stay for my marathon.

The color contrast of the halls and rooms just reminds me of death. Cold and nothing says I'm a live. I've haven't like this color change that courtyards moved to years ago. Hilton at least has life

It was a good to choose this hotel, it’s close to the freeway. The staff was excellent (ballet parking, front desk, the restaurant) the spanish spiking people was very friendly and kind.

I went to the other hotel and was told that 1 night was taken care by Courtyard but NOT 2 nights that I had already paid for. AGAIN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I spoke with Alex at Expedia even though I have not used Expedia in YEARS and only Travelocity and never have had an issue with Travelocity. Alex wanted to move me to a TOTALLY DIFF hotel and not credit me for already paying in advance so I would have had to pay for another hotel room. The hotel I was sent to was AWESOME and the staff and Management were great at Hyatt Place/Hyatt House. The staff/Management that I spoke with at Courtyard were TERRIBLE. I believe I paid $575 up front for my hotel room for 2 nights and Alex credited my credit card for $278 and I ended up paying $400 at Hyatt Place/Hyatt House. THIS is the HOTEL that I was sent to and I am not sure why I should have had to pay anything. Thank you Kevin Darby I have booked some other hotels thru Travelocity already for this summer and paid for them and IF THEY ARE IN ANY WAY tied to EXPEDIA i will cancel and do something different. If I book on line with Travelocity I EXPECT that I am only dealing with Travelocity.

Super clean hotel from the lobby to the rooms. Beds were really comfortable with plenty of pillows provided. Staff was friendly. Check-out is 12:00 which is later than most hotels. Only complaint is parking was valet only, so to get anything from your car, you had to get the key from valet or security.

Check in was listed on their website as 3pm. We had arrived 2 hours later from out of town. Valet was friendly, no one was there at the front desk so valet had to grab Kevin from the office. Kevin was clearly sick and should’ve had the day off or had a mask. There was some miscommunication about how many rooms but he was very polite. I just felt bad that he was working while he wasn’t feeling well. It seemed as though our rooms were still not ready so he tried to get into contact with Jackie but she was no where to be found. He let us know it would be just a minute and wait in the lobby. Other guests checking in checked in just fine and got their rooms. Once Jackie came down she had her headphones in and didn’t seem to be in any rush to get any rooms prepared. Kevin gave us vouchers for the breakfast in the morning, but since we were simply there for a concert late at night we wouldn’t be using them so early the next day, but we appreciated his hospitality. That night when we arrived back from the concert there was no valet and we didn’t feel secure leaving it out front off a main road in downtown Chicago. The young women at the front desk with blond hair stated that she had sent him (valet) to do an errand for her so to just lock it up and they would park it once they arrived. Check out went smooth.

We stayed here for a show at the Cobra Lounge down the street and it was great! I love that the hotel offers a shuttle for travel within a mile so finding street parking on a busy weekend wasn’t something we had to be concerned with. When a place was out of the shuttle radius, it was just a short walk to the Pink Line station. Very good location, super kind front desk staff—I would absolutely consider this location again for future travel.
