Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its central location and friendly staff. However, many guests express dissatisfaction with hidden fees, particularly the daily resort fee, and issues with cleanliness and maintenance in the rooms.

Clean facility, but not much to do in the rooms or our within the hotel itself. Very kind staff and appreciated the proximity to other locations!

I think the biggest drawback was the time to receive a service here. One night it took 4.5 hours for the service desk to connect to house cleaning to provide fresh bedding thus delaying our ability to get a good night’s sleep. The check-in line at night could be up to two hours to get checked in for new guests. We had to find our own clean towels daily.

Rooms are on the small side, but are clean. There are a few games to play in the lobby, and a few places to eat. Didn't realize I had to put down $100 deposit per night, so that did eat into our budget. The pool and hot tub had to have a reservation, so we were not able to use them. Great location!

Our room with lake view was very comfortable, beautiful view. Breakfast buffet was very good. Nice gift shop. Taxis on the ready out front. Fabulous location!

Was a beautiful hotel and the staff was amazing.
- 5/5
The hotel interior is designed beautifully and the amenities are convenient and easy to find. The building felt historic, not old, and the modernization decisions were sensible and fit the style. The room was very clean and the space was comfortably sized for our party of two. Everything was functional and felt well-maintained and the view from our room was still nice despite being mostly interior-facing. It was honestly one of the nicest hotel stays I've had in years and I would gladly return if I have another event nearby in the future. I highly recommend it.

They don’t tell you that parking is a 100$ a night but you get one night free if you self park. Needlessly stressful. Bed not very comfortable. Just kind of run down.

Location is great. Our window was partially open and it was very loud with sirens in the room. I was able to get the window closed after I scraped out what looked to be a decade worth of dirt and debris that had collected in the gap. The price was absolutely ridiculous but its what all hotels seem to do when events happen. Even with the window fully closed the sirens sound like they are in the room with you. Bring earplugs if you are not used to constant sirens all night.

The air conditioning was set to 65 degrees when we got to the room but it was far warmer than that temperature. I don’t think the AC actually worked and the fan kept shutting off even though I had it on the manual “on” setting. The floor was … kind of gross. We had our dog who immediately started sniffing certain areas. I’m assuming because another dog’s scent was still in there. I sat on the floor a couple of times before realizing that it was fairly dusty and kind of dirty. The mini fridge would’ve been nice to have but it clearly also didn’t work well. It maybe got down to 50 degrees. I checked all the wires but gave up. The bed had a flat sheet instead of a fitted sheet on the bottom. That’s whatever. The duvet had no cover. There were simply just 2 flat sheets on both sides of it. The bed itself was absurdly soft to the point where you immediately sink in and not in a comfortable/good way. I got a $10 USD food/drink credit which basically amounted to 1 bottle of soda (priced at $7 USD) which was a perk, I suppose. This hotel wasn’t the worst but it wasn’t great, by any means. I’d try a different hotel if you can.

I stayed in a bedroom that was suppose to be a king bedroom but ran out of rooms, room was out dated, shower head had a heavy leak, the shower nossle was coming out the wall and the vent didn't work.

The lady in the gift shop was awesome! Probably the nicest person we ran into there! Parking is crazy expensive too. The grab and go place is insanely expensive for a quick grab place. No sauce or anything on the dry sandwiches.
- 5/5
My room was spacious, clean and quiet. Ate at the restaurant 720 for breakfast, excellent. Chef made eggs to order. Asked numerous questions of staff, all were courteous, helpful and friendly. Location of hotel was central to many parks, museums and restaurants. We walked to many places rather than using taxis. I would book this hotel in the future when visiting.

Great location for our event at Soldier Field. The hotel lobby is amazing, this hotel has a lot of potential to be a favorite with all the history surrounding it. However, the rooms were a bit tired, the elevators were not very clean and the carpet in our room needed to be clean (wore white Sox around room and the bottoms were black. The room we were originally assigned to when it was early check in was to be 1975, but when we arrived they assigned us to 1529. 1975 had the much better view overlooking Lake Michigan, while 1529 was a small partial view of the lake. That was a disappointment. Also, as big as the rooms are they could have used a microwave, I thought this was a miss. The staff we encountered were very friendly and awesome to deal with. I would probably give this Hotel another chance, hopefully they can make some adjustments.
- 5/5
The Hilton Chicago is the best hotel I have ever been in over 45 years of traveling. The hotel is spectacularly maintained and the staff supremely helpful and concerned about the customers needs. The breakfast buffet is totally worth the cost. The location is second to none. If I wind up in Chicago again, I will be found at the Hilton Chicago.
- 4/5
The hotel was great, my only problem was the pillows. There were 2 pillows for each person, these were feather pillows. These two pillows flattened down, felt like your head was on the mattress, no support. I had to fold up two towels to put under them, but it didn't help. I went down to ask for more pillows, foam pillows, and was told there are no extra pillows at all in the hotel. I would think for $300 a night, and $72 for parking, the hotel could invest in some decent pillows.

The front desk staff member (Mercy) was extremely helpful, pleasant, kind, and professional.

Also, I bought a scarf/shawl from the gift shop that saved me on this trip during the chilly Chicago nights. It even inspired my friend to pick one up, too! I also grabbed some Garrett's popcorn for my mother-in-law from the gift shop, which was great because it saved me from having to go to the actual shop for it. I will say the breakfast buffet was just okay, not worth the price in my opinion. But the little food shop by the elevators was very good and had pretty much everything I wanted and needed. My only complaint is that the air conditioning in the rooms was very finicky. I know it's an older hotel though. My first room had an AC problem and was even a little musty smelling, and while my second room was much better smelling, the AC still didn't get very cold, so I woke up quite often during the night due to being too warm. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

I like the closeness to the museum and the view of my room was very neat. Also, the pool was temperature controlled (warm) and had not one, but two jacuzzi. The outdoor terrace was great at nighttime. The staff was friendly. That being said, my room’s floor (carpet) was not clean, and everything else was dusty. I also didn’t liked that it feels like anyone can go inside the hotel, use the elevators, and go into the pool/gym because you don’t need your room card to access these features. There is staff by the elevators and the pool, but I doubt they can keep track of who is a guest and who isn’t (as the staff who welcomed me back (and everyone else) but I haven’t even done check in…). Also, most hotels have some type of reception at the lobby with at least access to cold water, tea/coffee, hot cocoa, etc. but none in this hotel.

On top of the terrible housekeeping, the hotel hits you with a mandatory $25 per day "destination fee" that you cannot opt-out of. It supposedly covers the pool, internet, pickleball, and an $18 laundry credit, but it is entirely "use it or lose it." Forcing families to pay for amenities they might not even have time to use just feels like a greedy cash grab. Great location, but the management and service are severely lacking. I would not stay here again.

Traveled with little kids (1 and 5) - we loved the pool, nice staff and available of restaurants and drinks on site. Double room had a bathtub and a fridge for baby’s milk. Great trip and affordable price!

Neat historic hotel w/terrific 8th floor pool, sauna, hot tubs, equipment etc. TV’s were dated - we couldn’t hook up Netflix etc, so if you plan to stream, bring a USB stick. Great location in the South Loop.

My reservation was booked for 3 night. We even upgraded to get a second bathroom. On the first night we noticed little flying bugs by the windows but nothing crazy. When we got back from first night of event room was INFESTED. When we went down to get assistance the receptionist wasn’t even surprised when we mentioned the bugs. We moved all our things to the second room, settled in and then noticed the restroom reeked of cigarettes. We had had a long day and decided to just deal with it in the morning. In the morning we went down and requested for them to please clean the bathroom. They agreed and would send someone at 12 pm to spray the room down. When we got back that night the room had not been cleaned nor the stench dealt with. The smell was so unbearable we couldn’t even use the second bathroom we upgraded to! All that was offered was 2,000 “hilton honor” points. Very disappointed.

Our rooms were not cleaned, housekeeping forgot to clean up both rooms. We had to wait for them to arrive after calling several times. They finally sent someone at 7 pm… overall we were not happy with the hotel. We spent a fortune and didn’t get what we paid for. In addition the window in our room didn’t close so we couldn’t sleep at all in the first night. They agreed to change our room the next day.

Very nice hotel. Did not get the chance to really explore or use any amenities. Very nice hotel for a quick overnight trip.

Beautiful hotel with a great central location to everything. Breakfast was one the best! Staff were wonderful, always asking to help out and very friendly! Would absolutely stay here again!
- 3/5
The reason for a 3 star rating is we were there 5 nights. Our room was only cleaned 2 times. So on the days there was no room cleaning, when we got back at night we would have to get clean towels to shower. This hotel is very expensive and this unacceptable. Don't think we'd stay here again even though the location is good.

Very nice and clean hotel. We booked this hotel at the very last minute and didn't have much time to read the fine print of everything, but in order to use the pool/hot tub you need to sign up down at the pool. It isn't an issue if there isn't many people but if it's busy you'll need to reserve a spot. It wasn't a big deal- we went down, signed our names, and went right in. It was a pretty good location for walking to different stores.
- 5/5
Great hotel and great spot especially having teenagers like to sight see and take pictures. Deposit is around $200 so for families it’s something to consider if doing multiple rooms.
- 2/5
Two days without the room being made or resupplied, so bar staff was very nice, reception night on arrival was not. It is a nice vintage Hotel, but smells damp in some areas. The food pricing at the cafe is high!

I’ve stayed at the Hilton Chicago many times, and I keep going back because it is always a great experience. The staff is great, making check in easy and using the amenities easy. The property is clean and well maintained, so it feels luxurious, and it’s right downtown in the loop so you have easy access to anything you may want to experience in Chicago. I highly recommend the Hilton for any trip or staycation in Chicago.
- 3/5
The location was excellent and the staff were helpful. Unfortunately, my room was dirty. There was dust everywhere and the pillow cases on my bed were dirty. I was able to find a housekeeper and she immediately came to give me clean sheets and pillow cases. The WiFi wasn't working which was a bit frustrating when phone service was limited inside parts of the building. Despite the minor we enjoyed our stay but unfortunately next trip we will seek other accommodations .

Rooms were older but clean . Beautiful architecture . Was not a fan of the restaurant. The staff was wonderful , the cocktails were amazing. Great fitness facility.
- 2/5

- 5/5
Everything was great. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly.

Beautiful historic hotel in a prime location on the lakefront and near a zillion tourist attractions. The hotel is very well maintained and the staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I don’t often write reviews but I travel frequently and this hotel really stood out.
- 1/5
I purchased a Lake View Room, when I arrived they said my room was not available yet and moved me to another room. I could see the lake only if I stood behind the T.V. All three windows had no view at all. When I brought it up to staff they said that the room qualified as a Lake View and would not reimburse me or move me to another room. I told them at most this room should be a partial lake view and they wouldn’t listen. It’s a money grab, be careful with this one. Soda and water bottles in the lobby are $8 each and the hotel removed the vending machines on the floors forcing you to go downstairs. There’s way better hotels in Chicago. This one is a microcosm to everything wrong with Chicago.

- 3/5
The location is great, but the cleaning staff could put more focus on the rooms. I had to move rooms because the first one was unfinished (toilet seat up, not wiped, hairs, pee ring around base of toilet) and the room they moved me to had more hair and scum in the toilet seat. I just went down and got Clorox wipes from the front desk. There were some ants on the desk but that was it.

It's a really cool old building that has been updated to current standards and expectations. Everything was very clean. It was very expensive for parking, but it's downtown Chicago it's all pretty expensive. We didn't use the restaurants but there is a grab and go type place on the first floor that we used that was convenient. Just beware everything is 2-3 times higher price wise than in a store.

Easter weekend, hotel full of young teenage girls, who instead of acting like young ladies, were running up and down the hallways like 6 year old boys, and throwing ice at each other until I had to call security.

I will never return to this hotel.

The breakfast was very good
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice overall! We loved the games area in the lobby! Maybe it’s just that they’re extremely short staffed for the size of the place, but when disappointments keep happening you start to feel let down. Expect long lines at the front desk for check in or anything else. We couldn't get a response about getting an extra blanket for the room and they only have an automated system to help you with guest service. We also had to wait a couple hours for our luggage to get to the room after we arrived which was inconvenient. Also, heads up - we weren’t made aware at check in that the pool/hot tub area closes at 9:45 pm and that you need a reservation after 2:30 pm so we weren’t able to use either when we were there. That was a bummer for the kids since that’s why we booked this hotel!

- 4/5
VERY hot hottub & very clean - perfect!! The gym was excellent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely property. The reason I would not give it 5-stars is the surprise additional $25/per day fee sprung on as at check-in - this was never clear or mentioned prior to arriving. This is dishonest business practice and makes me think twice about booking with Hilton again.
- 5/5
The staff were awesome and upgraded our room at a low price. We felt very safe and staff were very helpful. The eighth floor had a beautiful pool, spa and sauna, great view of lake mi, open late too. We dined for breakfast at yoke and Niu B for dinner. Delicious. At checkout we purchased a future Hilton grand vacation at a great discount too. Let’s go. :)

- 5/5
Hot tub and pool were great. Staff extremely friendly and nice
- 4/5
Frustrating to have to reserve time at the pool. Also, despite being asked if we needed housekeeping and saying yes, no one came.
- 1/5
Upon arrival, the front desk agent disappeared for 10 minutes to whisper with a colleague. He then claimed our room was ready, but we found ourselves in a room with much smaller beds. It felt like a deliberate attempt to see if we’d just "accept" a lower-tier room. When I returned to the desk, I was told no Lake View Queens were available. Our only options were to stay in the cramped beds or move to a non-lake view room. Since we didn't fit in the smaller beds, we moved—effectively paying for a view we didn't get. Management offered some food vouchers as compensation. Since we arrived late and were checking out the next morning, these were useless. I even received an automated text from "Inderjeet" asking about my stay. I replied with these issues and received zero response. After a five-hour flight, the last thing you want is to haggle for the room you already paid for. I expected much better from a Hilton brand.

This hotel is awesome for visiting Chicago. The staff were consistently attentive, respectful and helpful with suggestions. The hotel room was clean and the view we had was fantastic. The pool and hot tub were relaxing — easy to access and get fresh towels. The only minor criticism was that the hotel is an older building and shows some wear and tear — if I owned it, I’d invest in new flooring because the old carpet is super gross. That said, for what we paid and what we got, we are extremely satisfied and glad we stayed at the Hilton, and will likely stay there again!

- 5/5
Stayed here multiple times, every stay has been a great experience. Friendly staff and always clean! Thank again, Hilton Chicago!
- 4/5
Beds didn't feel like queens. Wish they'd give four pillow per bed rather than three.
- 3/5
It is a huge hotel with large groups coming and going -- it's not an intimate experience. This is neither a pro or con, just good to know. It was very loud at times in the lobby and in our hallway. Never became too much of an issue, luckily. Our room was a decent size with two bathrooms, which was nice, but the room didn't seem thoroughly cleaned. I found an empty water bottle and some balled up wrappers behind the desk, and a sock behind the chair in the room. Overall we had a nice stay, but I might look elsewhere next time for somewhere that I felt was a bit more personable.
- 5/5
It’s was the most comfortable and relaxing stay!
- 5/5
Lovely hoses keepers and service was great . Night crew staff security are rude and need to be more polite when asking for cardholder
- 2/5
Had another problem, getting extra pillows and blankets. They seemed annoyed each time I reminded them I still had not yet received them. The hotel itself is in a decent location. I just think that the staff is extremely unprofessional
- 4/5
Not much food options and the Starbucks was extremely over priced .
- 3/5
When we arrived we were put in not only incorrect rooms, but a room that was already occupied. Instead of upgrading us for the extremely uncomfortable experience of swiping into a room already occupied by another guest, they gave us a $10 credit. Not even enough to cover one of their water bottles. Pool is by reservation only
- 5/5
The staff was wonderful and the rooms were clean.
- 4/5
Very good!
- 5/5
Staff was great and room was clean
- 5/5
The person who checked me in when we arrived was amazing! She was the best!! Wonderful personality and spirit! Property in wonderful shape!!
- 5/5
Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Had a great time.
- 5/5
The check in process was smooth. Paul provided excellent customer service. The room had a great view of the lake. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly.
- 4/5
Bathrooms and furniture was not clean at all. Splatter of dark brown-red substance on lampshade. Bathroom shower grout had similar brown-red stains and hair stuck in tub. Otherwise good. Room was spacious.
- 5/5
Staff member at the front desk Sam was lovely
- 4/5
Great room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful, and was helpful with anything we needed.
- 5/5
Beautiful place
- 5/5
I love it
- 4/5
The room, which we paid $99 (after tax) to upgrade to, had a really great view of the lake, Navy Pier and Museum Campus. The room was updated. Even after setting the temperature to the lowest it could go, the heating/ac did not go lower than 70°F. The room was also a bit dirty in some spots: white spots on the bathroom door, dirty lampshades and very dirty windows. The bed and pillows were super comfortable! Overall, it was a good experience. If our room was a little cleaner & the room got colder it would have been perfect!
- 5/5
The room was great and had a view over Grant Park. All the staff was courteous and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to site see. All within walking distance of the museums, the bean and navy pier.
- 3/5
.
- 4/5
The room was clean and tidy, and room service was fast. Next time I’ll opt for a room with a view.
- 2/5
Smelled
- 2/5
We checked in late and went to bed shortly after we got there. We woke up and that’s when we were shocked. Room was dirty. Old dried coffee/creamer spills on the desk going down to the floor. Our shower head was broken, would have loved to locked the bathroom for but the door stopper broke as soon as I moved it. Water was dripping behind the wall plus coming out from underneath the faucet when used. Staff was nice enough even told us that they were sorry and would get it cleaned. They even gave me complementary parking. Came back 6 hours later room was still not cleaned after we told that they would get someone on it.
- 5/5
Staff was courteous and our lake view room was great. Kids enjoyed the pool.
- 5/5
Exceeded my expectations. I was not aware of two bathrooms in our room. The interior of the hotel was elegantly decorated. The location of the hotel was great!
- 5/5
Great everything
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly
- 1/5
We did not get any room service at all. Our bed sheets were not changed nor was our trash thrown out. The tub was clogged, our room didn’t have enough towels
- 4/5
Older hotel with a cute vintage flair and charm with reasonable rates.
- 5/5
Quiet and clean!
- 3/5
Front desk lady was awesome , room was medicore - we only had 2 towels and no wash clothes , pillows sucked !!!! They were like sleeping with no pillow sore neck this morning . Room could use some updating . Shouldn’t have to pay for parking at the hotel when you spend almost 200 a night .
- 3/5
Room was not very clean the phones look like they have not been dusted for weeks. The operator was extremely rude when we asked for blankets.
- 5/5
Great service
- 5/5
Staff was nice !! Enjoyed the bar & pool area 💕
- 5/5
It was great
- 5/5
But Matt the maintenance guy came quickly at 6 am thankfully and got it back up and running. Other than that, a truly beautiful hotel and the restaurant staff and front desk guys were amazing!

- 5/5

Staff was very attentive and responsive.
- 5/5
Great staff that paid attention quickly to concerns.
- 4/5
No wash cloths , Kleenex and room was cold and dusty . Was a good location and friendly staff
- 4/5
Great. Did not put us in king size bed as ordered. Did not have washcloths/makeup cloths. They fixed all upon asking. Great service overall. Would stay again.
- 4/5
Great staff, good location .
- 5/5
THe staff was very efficient and professional and the breakfast was great.

- 5/5
Yes great Hotel everything was perfect
- 3/5
Room and amenities need improvement

They add extra tax chargers at the checkout that should be included in the Rome price $29+ taxes per night they call it destination charges plus I had a pet when I called they told me they charge $75 for the first 4nights . I stayed for 4 night but they charge me $200 instead
- 5/5
We had a large room with an amazing view!
- 4/5
Staff members were friendly and helpful. Great location walking distance and transportation options.
- 5/5
Clean, good breakfast, quiet. Easy acces
- 1/5
I paid for 2 queen beds room but they gave us room with 2 double beds that were smaller than the queen. 4 hours before flight my son

- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Everything was amazing abt my stay
- 4/5
Great visit
- 3/5
Th staff was mostly helpful, Jennifer that was in charge of the pool fitness area was very helpful, she gave us information on family restaurants cheap close to the hotel to eat at the first night we were in town, she was a gem, the hotel itself needs a lot of work, the windows in the room we stayed in were very drafty and we had issues keeping the room warm, the surprise costs was a shock to us, they don’t disclose the fact that they charge the paying guests at the hotel to park in the garage, the fact that they charge guests to use the pool and the fitness areas is just crazy, the pool area and hot tubs were not anything special and most hotels do not charge guests to use the amenities, we won’t be staying with the Hilton anywhere in the USA again even if we are given free room, we just weren’t impressed, it was just a basic hotel to us,
- 4/5
La habitación estaba limpia, solo tiene amenities en la ducha, no hay amenities de tocador mas allá del body lotion, fui a pedir a recepción una shower cap y no tenían.
- 5/5
BEAUTIFUL PLACE
- 3/5
Staff, specifically front desk. When I got there they said I only had 1 room, when I showed her that my reservation was for two. She proceeded to put us in 2 rooms with 1 king bed for 8 people total, even though we talked about my kids needing a bath tub. She said she would upgrade our room to two bathrooms even though that what I paid for. Then they put a $100 deposit on the room which should have been released but went through $186. Just know if you stay with kids, you have to make pool reservations. They guys at the pool was very helpful and told us to come anyways because the pool wasn't that busy.
- 3/5
Overall it was a great exp. The only downfall was the housekeeping dept. they forgot to make our rooms for 2 days in a row. Informed front desk and they accommodated us for the inconvenience
- 1/5
The staff was horrible. The pool was for Olympic swimming, not family fun. There was to hot tubs but they were tiny. So if you like to sit right next to a stranger while being blasted with the highest pressure jets than this is the the place for you. The beds were uncomfortable. The pillows were flat and I asked 4 different times for more pillows. I didn't receive them until 130AM. It took them 4 hours to get them to me. All they could say was we are working on getting them every time I asked. My back was killing me when I woke up for the short amount of time I could sleep. They have "vending & ice machines on floors 1,5,8,15,20. However I was on 15 and there was not a vending machine but there was a ice machine with no ice. There was security guards standing there watching me get no ice out of the machine. But instead of having someone fill it, they said I could go to floor 8.
- 5/5
I paid for a king room and had that for the first half of my stay, but something went wrong with the water heater for the floor(?). It wasn't explained well to us, but we were moved into another room on a higher level which I assumed would have been similar but it was much smaller and had a queen bed.
- 5/5
Stay was great
- 5/5
Good service
- 5/5
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT
- 4/5
Overall I pleased with everything. I definity will stay again.
- 4/5
The room was clean, a nice size for a family of 4, and the rollaway bed was spacious and comfortable.
- 5/5
The hotel is beautiful, well-maintained, and perfectly located in downtown Chicago. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was professional and friendly. You can really feel the history of this place, but at the same time everything feels modern and well organized. Great views, great service, and a very pleasant atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back again.
- 4/5
The view out the room and the hotel was pretty clean… it’s an older hotel but could still use some newer features in the rooms.
- 5/5
The room was very clean, I do wish there was a little better lighting in the closet (which was walking!!). The hotel has so much history and is just fun to walk around and explore the first and second levels. The check-in staff are professional and quick. They text you and are very responsive. The pool does require a reservation after 4pm but the hot tub and sauna room in the locker are worth it on a chilly winter night. Parking is easy (just $$). I have stayed before with kiddos and had the same level of satisfaction. I will def book here on my future trips to the big C.
- 4/5
Gorgeous historic, well-maintained property. We loved the two queen beds and two bathrooms in our room (although bath fans would be nice) with a view of the full moon over Lake Michigan. Hot tub was relaxing and pool was vast, along with sauna and fitness room. We walked to dinner and were close to other attractions, including museums and beautiful murals nearby. Would definitely stay again if resources allow!
- 5/5
We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful hotel and decorated so nicely for the holidays.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay here. Good area for dining and shopping. Would stay here again.
- 5/5
Great service and so beautifully elegant the place is
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. I liked how unique the hotel was with its historical displays and the architectural elements that are still visible. The game room area is a great place for those looking for something to do while waiting on others.
- 3/5
The room was not the best - I expected a lot more from the Hilton! Pillows and linen were horrible. Staff was amazing but overall experience was not great, probably the won’t stay again.
- 3/5
Amenities
- 3/5
The staff was a hit or miss at the hotel but overall it was an okay place to stay.
- 5/5
It was wonderful
- 4/5
There were a few old face towels still hanging in the bathroom. Other than that the stay was good !
- 5/5
Nice pillows

- 3/5
The heating system in the room was not working. Upon calling the help desk, a maintenance technician did show up quite promptly.. he detected a faulty blower, called the electrician who then showed up in a few minutes to replace the blower and the heating system started working.
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
It was great loved it great service front desk however whenever we needed assistance over the phone the purpose for room service for us not to leave our room we had to come down to accommodate in person otherwise it’s a 10/10! Definitely will book again
- 5/5
Clean room, good service. Right at tge downtown Chicago.
- 4/5
Nice hotel, loved all the holiday decor in the lobby and the giant gingerbread Chicago. The historic decor around the hotel is also very interesting. The game area in the lobby was very much appreciated and was a great spot to hang out. The food and drinks at Herb and Kitchen was very overpriced ($9 plus tax for a bottle of water). The rooms are basic but sufficient. The tv’s need to be updated. Overall it is a nice hotel for the price point and is within a nice waking distance of the Bean and the museum campus.
- 5/5
Amazing stay. We had a great time
- 5/5
Yes it was a great stay
- 5/5
Fantastic hotel, close to everything and well worth!
- 3/5
The room conditions were fine - there was some peeling wallpaper, cracked lamp shades, dingy wall colors, serviceable linens, but the rooms were perfectly clean! It was also difficult to talk to anyone at the front desk. We tried to call ahead with questions, and couldn’t get connected with anyone via phone, text, or live chat. It took us 9 calls to get a bellhop the day we checked out. Once we talked to someone, they were fantastic, just understaffed! Hey, Hilton! Pay your employees better so that your fancy hotel isn’t abysmally understaffed!!
- 5/5
Best option for us while attending an event at McCormick place, with ability to park in public parking that is cheaper than the hotel parking!
- 5/5
Great experience 👍
- 4/5
I have an issue with the type of room I requested as opposed to the type of room I received. The manager is going to refund my first night. I am just waiting to see the credit on my account
- 1/5
Took forever to bring pillows. Room was way too dusty. Worst hilton i have stayed in.
- 3/5
For the price we payed, this was closer to a 3 start hotel than a 4 star hotel. A lot of hidden fees at the end that were not clearly disclosed before booking. Most likely will not stay again.
- 3/5
I asked for a crib at check in and never received it. I checked in at 3pm. I called down after waiting a few hours and then said they didn’t have anymore available.
- 5/5
Room and facility was clean and beautifully decorated for Christmas! Absolutely enjoyed the stay and pleasant staff
- 3/5
Better appliances for room
- 5/5
The room was very clean and comfotable. Staff was also accommodating and friendly.
- 5/5
Really helpful and present staff, cool historic hotel and convenient location.
- 5/5
Not only was our room spacious and spotless, but the staff was always courteous and accommodating.Great amenities. Great varied breakfast buffet.
- 3/5
The place was beautiful and clean but the staff was just ok, I saw on the website Cots/extra roll away beds were free but they tried to charge me $40.00, when I questioned the front desk they got snotty with me. I had to call 3 times to get extra blankets, sheets and pillows. It took roughly 6 hours for to bring everything up. I don’t think I will stay there again.
- 3/5
Make you pay for the gym. Coffee contraption in the room is unacceptable. The couch in our king suite was old, broken, and dirty. Room was cold. Anyway, Chicago has great hotels that do way more for less. Take a pass on this one.
- 5/5
Overall very clean and very friendly staff
- 4/5
Very clean hotel but Very expensive, have to pay to use the parking garage, pay extra for amenities, pay extra for breakfast.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel and friendly and helpful staff
- 5/5
Check in staff were great and room was clean. Worst part was house cleaner knocking at door at 1030am, after being up till 2am night before have a good time at football game. Hot tub amazing and our view!

Rooms were nice, staff friendly, enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tubs.
- 5/5
Great atmosphere for Christmas
- 5/5
What a great stay!!
- 5/5
Fantastic location for access to Chicago Bears games and shops. Great local environment for walking through parks to access wider attractions within the city.
- 2/5
Had to wait 1.5 hours for the room to be ready.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Super friendly staff
- 5/5
Our stay at the Hilton Chicago was excellent. The staff was helpful and friendly, and we will consider staying at this hotel in the future.
- 4/5
Staff was so nice …
- 5/5
Staff very friendly
- 4/5
Staff were always available and I loved the texting option when I had any questions.
- 5/5
Great Stay
- 3/5
In the morning went to grab 2 coffees for over $20 and $80 for parking on top of room. Absolute rip off. Room was definitely getting dated, pillows, bed and sheets were cheap. Definitely not what I would expectbfrom the Hilton. On a positive, staff was very nice.
- 2/5
Room was dirty and long wait time to take the elevator, but the front desk was full of nice people.
- 5/5
So friendly and our room was spotless
- 3/5
Staff is great but rooms are outdated. HVAC system is not regulated making the room temperature uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Room was clean but it was very dark in the hallways and there was no view out window just let us see some emergency stairs
- 5/5
Great stay, lovely hotel. Great staff all around, Hannah upgraded our room to a 2 bathroom 2 bed with no charge after seeing we had a 4 party guest reservation. Definitely will be staying here again
- 5/5
Room was spacious with two bathrooms! Excellent staff - lots of fun places in the hotel for friends and family to gather.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was outstanding.
- 3/5
The room was NOT spotless. We had to call the front desk to clean our room and they still missed the key thing we wanted them to get: a previous guest had lost their fingernail! They did not vacuum before we checked in and did not vacuum after we called them.about it. They did clean the bathroom the second time tho.
- 5/5
The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. All hotel amenities were clean, well-organized, and ready to use. The breakfast was excellent, with a great variety of options to choose from. What truly made this stay extraordinary was the outstanding service. Brad, Vicente, Cruz, Eric, Ruby, and the entire team went above and beyond to ensure a memorable experience. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were exceptional. Without a doubt, this was a unique and unforgettable stay — truly a hotel that exceeds five-star expectations. ❤️
- 3/5
Lobby is beautiful. My family and I enjoyed the hot tub. However, was disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. We arrived and one of the toilets looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned, there was visible urine on the toilet lid. We had called housekeeping and they showed up promptly to clean the toilet which was nice. Going onto the bathtub, there were short black hairs scattered in the tub when we first arrived, also indicating that it may not have been cleaned either. There was dust along the TV stand and all on top of the coffee maker and tray. On top of the cleanliness, we didn’t feel so safe. Upon checking into our room, the door handle didn’t have any problems. However coming back to our room at night after being out our door handle was very loose off the door, indicating that someone had tried to get in. We called and had someone come fix it. Overall, not sure if I will be returning to this hotel. I had booked this hotel because I have stayed here before and it was a great experience at that time but was kind of embarrassing to bring my family here.

Clean room and great guest services

Staff was great!!
- 5/5
Excellent Holiday Trip to Chicago. The Hilton met and exceeded my expectations. Great Service at all points in this Hotel. Cody was great at check in. I was given a room with a great view of the lake and to my surprise the room had a second and very accessible bathroom with full hand rails, shower seat and other accommodations. I was given late check out with no drama. The Fitness Center is great! Thanks to Mike and Denton at the Center. I used the pool and spa every night! The Irish bar was great as well as the 720 bar and Herb'. I loved the Holiday decor. I felt safe at all times and slept great! My new place to stay in Chicago.
- 5/5
Great amenities and staff
- 4/5
Staff was nice, room was clean. Bed was comfy. I would’ve liked better water pressure.
- 4/5
Stephen at the front desk provided the best customer service of all.
- 1/5
We were unable to go to Chicago due to a massive snow storm and Expedia refused to give us a refund or credit for a future stay. Extremely disappointed with Expedia.
- 5/5
Everything was wonderful. We did not have breakfast
- 3/5
I booked two rooms. One was great, the other had obviously not been vacuumed and there was debris everywhere on the carpet. I asked house keeping to vacuum and they said they would, but never came. So it was more than a little gross. I didn’t have time to address it that evening , but when I spoke with the front desk they said they would give me some honors points. That also didn’t materialize. Other than that the staff was nice and in the morning they had cookie decorating. There are so many great hotels in Chicago. Next time I’ll make a different choice.
- 5/5
This should be a 5 star hotel as everything is amazing. Clean, staff beautiful interior
- 2/5
So much of what feel like an essential hotel experience was subpar for what is supposed to be a four-star hotel. I would not return to this property and would reconsider booking with hilton in the future.
- 5/5
Room was great and the hotel was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season. Made our stay even more magical!

There was a problem with my heating, which was fixed after 2 days.
- 5/5
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I look forward to returning soon, hopefully to an even larger and upgraded room.
- 5/5
Love the environment and decorations and very friendly staff.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!
- 5/5
I brought my daughter and 2 friends to celebrate her 18th birthday with a shopping trip to Chicago. Our room was quiet, clean, comfortable, and the staff at all touch points were kind, helpful, and friendly! Definitely I would stay again when I visit Chicago!
- 4/5
Overall it was a great pick. However housekeeping missed us the first day and then the next day they didn’t leave enough towels so we found ourselves always having to call for something though I would say the response was quite fast and efficient. Great food options and the hotel room was spacious.
- 5/5
Thanks for everything.
- 1/5
Bathroom ceiling falling down, shampoo/soap/lotion containers empty, bathtub flooring was not attached, lamp shades were torn, lamp was broken, and overall cleanliness of room was disgusting
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
My stay during the Thanksgiving break and one of the many bands that were invited to participate in the parade. The staff at the reservations desk was not polite. Very short when answering questions. I thought the lady at the front desk was going to faint due to us asking for our daily limit of 2 water bottles but we were told it's for Gold members only, although we were told different. That's fine I wasn't about to go back and forth about water that should be free. The staff at The Herb was very rude. Not sure if Mohammad and also a female worker not sure if they were offended because I charged to my room or because I aaked for my receipts. The rooms could have been better cleaned. Our room was not serviced twice and had to call for clean towels and trash bags. The amount of money spent to book this hotel does not equate to its price. The decor was nice. The staff near the elevators was nice and helpful with assisting with the band kids and my family.
- 4/5
It was okay but shops where expensive
- 3/5
Bathroom Tub was not seal (Caulk)
- 5/5
Room was amazing and view was great. Service was excellent

- 5/5
This is a great location with very good service.
- 5/5
It was a great experience.
- 5/5
2 restrooms in my room was a plus
- 5/5
room was wonderful, staff was friendly, spaces were beautiful to be in.
- 5/5
Very courteous staff, excellent old hotel with high standards, easy in and out. Nice check in by front desk via text to let us know that we had a contact in case we needed something. I've stayed there years ago and it continues to be a great hotel
- 1/5
We get to our room and Its not one towel in the room, called front desk to bring some and no one ever came. We called 3 more times and still no one. I Had to go to the front desk where they had me wait 15 minutes for towels just to say they cant give it to me down here. It'll be in the room when you go up. Im currently in the room and still not a towel in sight. I've been to many hotels and this by far was the worse experience I've ever encountered. Im paying so much just visit family for Thanksgiving and this hotel has given me nothing but Debt and issues. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL, THEY ARE STEALIMG FROM US...I WISH I COULD GVE 0 STARS
- 5/5
Convenient parking.
- 1/5
They didn’t have a snack bar in the room, or any vending machines, or even like a little snack that you can just charge to your room. No drinks in your fridge. Very outdated bathroom.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the comfortable stay
- 5/5
Outstanding service!
- 5/5
Room was great. Staff was very helpful. I would recommend to anyone….

great cusomter service
- 5/5
The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was great. Close to everything.
- 5/5
Great location to downtown and stadiums
- 3/5
Paid for and reserved 2 king rooms. Upon check in we were informed that the hotel was sold out and we’d be getting 2 rooms with 2 queen beds, and offered no alternatives. Very disappointed that when given a choice, it ultimately didn’t pan out.
- 4/5
The staff was courteous!
- 4/5
I’m a suburban who came for the lights festival on the mag mile. The hotel is actually really cool. It has an antique rich history, type of vibe. I usually book Airbnbs when traveling with my kids - due to the space. It was very nice. I love that they had large games in the lobby. My kids loved that they had large chest pool, air hockey and foosball. We couldn’t find the pool balls, but everything else was great when we walked in. I love the Christmas decor. There was a ballroom with a large Christmas tree is beautiful and breakfast was great. I can’t recall the name of the breakfast restaurant. It was like table service. This area is in the south loop and close to a lot of things a quick Uber right away. The only reason why I don’t give it five stars is because our room was switched at the last minute and the full size beds were not very big.
- 5/5
Staff
- 3/5
Room is not in good condition
- 5/5
Room was clean, but the shower was draining super slowly. Staff were very friendly!
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good stay. A little disappointed that we had a crib notated on our reservation a month prior to arrival. Then I emailed the Monday before Thursday check in about a crib. My husband called once we got off the plane and they said they didn’t have cribs. No one mentioned they had pack and plays until we already purchased one. The Christmas decor was beautiful. The staff was nice, we just had the hiccup with the crib/pack n play ordeal.
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful, room was nice
- 3/5
Didn’t eat breakfast. Had to ask for water
- 3/5
Pool staff was rude I won’t be back

Amazing!
- 5/5
The room was amazing. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great hotel and well worth the value. Will be coming back.
- 2/5
When I first walked in the room I realized there were hair on the bathroom floor. I had to carry all of my stuff downstairs and ask for another room. This time the room had only one bathroom when I booked and paid for a room with two bathrooms. Because I didn't want to carry all of my stuff downstairs again I gave up. The room itself hasn't been renovated in a very long time. The bed skirts had holes in them. There is little to no soundproofing, I could hear the couple next door zipping up their suitcases and so much more... The road noise was practically in the room even though we were on the 20th floor...Parking is expensive. The only nice thing was that the hotel lobby and the ballroom area is charming. You could do so much better for that price.
- 3/5
The room was clean, the cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful. Two bottles of Smartwater and a protein bar cost us $32 with tip. What a joke. We upgraded to a room with a view, but you better learn how to look out of the porthole of a boat to see it. We have a Dodge 2 to 3 people outside the elevators every day trying to sell us timeshares. I will be staying somewhere else next time.

Amazing experience. Everyone was super friendly and professional. Best stay I have ever had. Place is gorgeous

Everything was great!
- 5/5
Such a wonderful historic place, with fully modern amenities.
- 5/5
It was the swankiest joint I ever strayed in! I upgraded for $40 and had a room with a view of Lake Michigan! They had three restaurants/bars right in the hotel!!
- 5/5
Great location and friendly staff. The location was fantastic and very walkable to key parts of the city including Soldier Field, the Chicago Art Museum, and lots of restaurants. I would stay here again.
- 5/5
Nice large room. City view.
- 2/5
The hotel is surviving from a great almost a century old tradition. Filthy rooms, unfriendly and rude front desk workers with limited English skills, misleading prices and unworkable dirty ancient phones in the rooms.
- 1/5
Didn’t have breakfast there… checking in I was not greeted, I stood in line while the agent was on his personal cell phone and eventually he looked up. He had no customer service what so ever, and I was put in a room with two beds and he showed no compassion. I had to call to speak to a supervisor about him. I was moved the next day to a room with a king, but with a broken exhaust fan and broken refrigerator. My experience at this property was not great

Bathroom
- 2/5
* Decor and furnishings are old and worn * Guest room needed deep cleaning * It is far from North Michigan Ave * Jr. Suite room had very small closet and cramped bathroom * TV interface is clunky * Carpet in common areas and hallways is worn, stained and buckled * Meeting rooms on the lower level are cold, stark and harshly lit with stained and missing ceiling tiles. * There is an entertainment zone across from the check-in dest that distracts from a professional and elegant first impression * Fitness Center charge was very disappointing and not the standard across other hotels. I come to Chicago once a year to have a special experience in addition to the great content of a professional conference but I found myself just wanting to return home. Overall the Hilton Chicago seems to be stuck in a low budget version of the ‘80s.
- 5/5
Great staff. Great room.
- 3/5
Had no view.
- 5/5
Room was spotless, stuff so friendly. Loved my room.
- 3/5
The room initially seemed clean until looking at it further. The bathrooms could have been cleaned better. My husband also stepped on a shard of glass in the middle of the night. We didn't even have any glass with us. There was a cockroach in the north lobby bathroom. The staff were very nice however.
- 3/5
Definitely needs better lighting in the room, the floor smelled stongly of marijuana and they had to come spray our room it smelled so badly. Other than that the room was fine, had great views.
- 4/5
Clean room
- 5/5
Love the location and convenience to the iconic Michigan Ave. Walkable to shopping, food, tourist attractions. High end vibes for reasonable prices.

I shortened my stay by two nights. I was optimistic when I booked the room but when I got to it, it stunk — literallly. A strong odor of wet socks and mold could not be overlooked. I requested another room and was quickly accommodated. Unfortunately, this room was not much better. I didn’t smell the mold until I went into the bathroom. I think the shower curtain was to blame. When I went to take a shower, the holes on the shower head were caked with black gunk. After cleaning g it I was almost too tired to clean myself. The last straw was the mattress that felt like a bag of gravel and the television that kept freezing. I came to Chicago to bury the dead, no more aggravation was needed. The next morning I checked out and moved to another hotel. It was cheaper. In better area, and much more comfortable. I can tell the Hilton gets a lot of business and was once probably a good hotel but that is no longer the case. There are so many better and cheaper options in the vicinity to settle on this one.

We thought the location was excellent and the cleanliness was top-notch. We will definitely go back.

Clean Room

Room had gorgeous views and I was able to check in early, around 8am. Accomodating staff. Clean pool and hot tub. Beautiful hotel.
- 2/5
Booked king lake view only to get there and the Hotel was sold out ... Disappointed
- 4/5
Could use some thicker walls! Felt like the dinosaur kids next door were in my room!
- 5/5
Great location. Staff was wonderful.
- 4/5
Quite querky, maybe due a refurb but still a good stay
- 3/5
Location is really great but building needs a lot of updating. Didn’t get the room serviced the whole 3 nights but perhaps we had to call for them to do it. I had picked a room facing out and they changed it to one facing a wall. We didn’t bother complaining since we spent most of the time exploring the city. Breakfast buffet was very expensive but not really worth it.
- 5/5
Staff was wonderful, property was clean and welcoming. Great amenities for families and great location.
- 1/5
Don’t park valet, you
- 2/5
We paid $300+ for one night and there were multiple hairs in the bathroom which is wild when you consider the price.
- 1/5
I stayed for 2 nights checked out on Sunday at 11 an my car was stolen out of there garage and the staff didn’t show any empathy what so ever I had to uber home an still was charged for my stay …I will never come back to this hotel ever again…
- 4/5
Just one complaint, the rooms can use a makeover, especially the carpet.
- 5/5
Very convenient to all things.

.
- 5/5
The building is beautiful, staff was very helpful, lots of food options, parking is right on site. The only thing i would change is i wish the bed was softer.
- 3/5
staff was friendly but i did not receive my 100$ deposit even though we left the hotel room just as it had been when we got there.
- 5/5
Great hotel for the Chicago Marathon! Double queens with 2 bathrooms was perfect doe my family of 4.
- 5/5
I liked that there were 2 full bathrooms in our room. Clean rooms, friendly staff.
- 5/5
The room was clean and view was excellent but the location is what really made this stay was the location.

- 5/5
Clean and quiet room. Staff was friendly, informative, and helpful.
- 5/5
We loved this hotel it was beautiful and convenient .
- 4/5
The hotel is very old and our room had terrible lighting, dirty carpets, and no amenities.
- 4/5
The cleanning lady was really nice and she spoke to us evwry morning.
- 4/5
Everything was lovely, deducted one star because the coffee setup in the room was like what you get in Motel 6 or similar. Really more of a half star deduction.
- 1/5
They cancel my booking because i was late to check in, i payed the full amount and they refused to refund my money! Why you cancelled my booking! I want to check in late. I payed for 3 nights and i want to check in on the second night. This is dont give you the right to cancel my booking!!
- 5/5
I liked the location. Walking distance to everything. Hotel itself was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions I had.
- 2/5
The hot tubs was the highlight. The staff were excellent. Very poor amenities. Where you only get $10 a day. When you pay 25. And get to roll it over into the next day. Which you should be able to.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
Loved the hotel. Room was small but very nice. Bathroom was very clean. Lots of guests in the hotel and plenty of foot traffic outside. We felt very safe walking to the Auditorium before and after the concert.

Nais
- 4/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. However, when we went to our room that was supposed to have two queen beds, we found two double beds. Returning to the lobby, they told us that they were "European queen beds" which run small. However these beds were exactly double bed size. They moved us to a different "two queen bed" room with a better view of the lake to appease us, and guess what! There were actual queen beds in that room. Then we read a lot of reviews describing this very same scenario. So, if you book a room with queen beds, double check that they are actually queen beds, and not "European queen beds" that are otherwise known as double beds.

Clean
- 5/5
Clean Room, knowledgeable staff that know area! Absolute great experience and time in Chicago!
- 3/5
The rooms were not very clean, dust all over light fixtures in bathroom, crumbs in chair in the corner, and mold in the shower grout. The staff wasn’t super helpful when it came to an issue with parking and provided inaccurate information. Wouldn’t recommend.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel
- 4/5
Love the location and the grandeur of the hotel. I’ve stayed here for years both for pleasure and business. I would say that at this point the hotel is in need of updating. The service was still excellent but the room felt dated.
- 5/5
Verry good
- 5/5
Great!
- 3/5
Cons - a billing issue. I was mistakenly charged for a cot and after several attempts to rectify it after I returned home, I eventually gave up. I would have caught this at the hotel, however they have staff with iPads ambushing people as they hit the lobby with to option to check-out with them and promising an emailed receipt, well I actually had to call to get a copy of my receipt.

Great Hotel
- 5/5
Great city and staff!!!
- 5/5
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Chicago Hilton. Loved the ambiance and the inspiring architecture on entering and the old fashioned elevator lobby was a treat itself. The Irish Pub was outstanding with a nice atmosphere and not overly sports oriented like some. I was there during some kind of trade event but the place never felt crowded or had long waits for anything. My room on the 18th floor was a little spartan for my liking, though quite large, however for the amount spent I expected more. Had a nice view and was quiet enough so I’m not taking points away, but yes - a room update is past due if other rooms were like mine.
- 2/5
It is very noisy even though I was on the high floor. The staff was not particularly nice. Overall, I had a 3-star experience.
- 5/5
Thank you for the stay. Great experience
- 5/5
Easy parking and walkable to all the fun stuff in under 10 mins. And bonus my room was really really comfortable!
- 4/5
It was descent, but booked a king bed and they couldn’t accommodate.
- 4/5
The hotel is pretty old and rooms are outdated but other than that, it’s nice. This property has some really nice amenities including a huge gym with registration services, pool, jacuzzi, sauna, restaurants and the staircases for the ballrooms are gorgeous.
- 5/5
Love the location. We felt very safe and it was walkable to many of our attractions.
- 5/5
The Hilton was conveniently located to Miracle Mile and shopping. We enjoyed walking in the park. The room was spa ious and the bed was very comfortable. The wifi signal isnt the best but we made it work. We will definitely stay here again.

- 5/5
Clean room, nice staff.
- 5/5
Loved the location and convenience of always having cabs available in front of hotel
- 5/5
This was once the largest hotel in the world, and is indeed one of the grandest. Rooms are good size for ando brown hotel, and the service is second to none.
- 3/5
The property was adorable, the only thing I noticed the cleanliness could be better as I saw someone leave some glass cups on the hallway and they were there for a while before they got picked up
- 5/5
Up charges for a lot of things but if you have the funds, a really great place to stay, even with kids.
- 5/5
Gym, quick staff help for anything over all fantastic xemnia was very helpful when getting me checked into my room
- 5/5
Didnt like the Parking structure. Its is very tight.
- 3/5
Horrible noise all night
- 4/5
Room was clean, the views are different.
- 5/5
Very easy check-in and check-out procedures with very friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
This property is located right across the street from Grant Park. East to walk the area and see the sights of Chicago. The property is huge. I would say that it can get a little noisy but it’s people driving in the street otherwise you do not hear other rooms. It is also easy to get to from the orange line from Midway airport. I am hoping to come back for the taste of Chicago next year and would easily book this hotel again.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, very well located
- 5/5
Overall so nice.
- 5/5
Would stay again
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
There wasn't anything I didn't like everything was A1
- 4/5
5 stars to the woman checking me in and helping me get the room I got. If I could give a star to the parking I would. I paid for overnight parking and had a hard time finding a spot when I came back at night.
- 5/5
Nice, clean hotel, friendly staff, very comfortable room, within walking distance from lake Michigan, major attractions, shopping and dining.
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay! Loved the history of the building and great amenities. Very walkable area!
- 3/5
The deposit for each night was outrageous. The additional $25 fee for daily activities
- 4/5
We had a view of a brick wall. Seemed kind of pricey for what we paid.
