Hotel was lovely, views from the rooftop bar were absolutely spectacular.

Busy location which brought lots of noisy traffic/street noise that could be heard even over the air conditioner, which didn’t let up until 1-2am. The noise within building itself was minimal, little to no hallway noise.

Nothing remarkable but would stay again if the rooftop bar was actually open! Quite disappointing that the rooftop bar closed so early. Came down to order food and a drink to watch the sunset and it was shut. I think if it’s unseasonably warm/ a lovely day the bar should be kept open! I couldn’t even go out and take a picture. Parking was stressful. Very tight and cramped trying to get in. Valet was missing, Ubers double parked, nowhere to turn or exit.

Check in and out went so fast and smooth. The whole place looks great. Hot water. My only issue is the AC. It was broken and I do not like it stuffy. It was 75 in the room the whole time. The night front desk person tried to fix it after swearing it wasn’t broken but it never came on. The only thing they did was get us a fan after we waited over 45 mins to see if the AC would kick in.

Wonderful staff and so accommodating! They were dealing with a water issue and handled it with such professionalism and ease. Definitely will be our go to stay for concerts at the Salt Shed and roaming wicker park neighborhood!!

When I arrived they told me that there was no water in the building so all reservations were cancelled. I had to stay in another hotel. I hope I get reimbursed for the charge since I couldn’t stay at the Hyatt.

Everything was great. Only thing that I didn’t like was the cleaning crew knocked at 8:15am and I was still sleeping until then.

I did not travel with a pet so I can answer this question. My room stayed warm because it was during the winter months. The room was neat and clean.

Clean and easy access

This hotel fits a perfect need. I have children & grandchildren closeby. I can visit my Kids & Grandkids, (after a delicious extensive breakfast,) come back to a wonderful clean room, work out in the mornings at the spacious & well equipped gym, and if I need a little light relief, head to the Bar/Restaurant/Rooftop Bar in the evening. I cant think of a hotel that has all these well maintained categories so close to downtown. Will stay here often.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the "every other day" servicing our room. We were even given a Christmas stocking on our door for Christmas day. We really loved the valet parking and parking garage on the premises. Our stay was wonderful and we will absolutely stay here again.

The room was absolutely spotless, probably the cleanest hotel room I've ever stayed in! Complimentary breakfast was delicious and valet parking service was quick and easy. Only downside was the noise--this hotel is on a busy corner right off the highway, so if road noise is a problem for you take that into consideration.

Friendly staff, from front desk, to valets, to bar tender, to maintenance worker, to room cleaner--all friendly. Cleanliness, room appointments--all great.

Really like the location of the hotel. Rooms are comfortable, breakfast is good. Parking is $55 a day, which is absurd, but we can park on the street free with parking passes.

Everything was perfect!!

Went to a show at the Salt Shed and this was an easy 10 minute walk to the venue. Valet parking is $45 (so $50/55 with tip), but we used Spot Hero to find a nearby garage for $15 overnight parking. The breakfast was amazing; they typically have certified gluten-free options, but were out during our stay. However, our child with celiac was able to eat a yogurt bowl with fruit. Great experience overall!!! Will totally be staying again next time we go to a show at the Salt Shed.

The room is spotless with a comfortable bed & nice seating area. The bathroom is clean, towels are fluffy, excellent water pressure. We stay here whenever we visit my daughter in Chicago. Oh, and the rooftop bar/cafe is a big plus. It is a great hotel!

The room was clean, staff was courteous and excellent breakfast. However, the heating was extremely noisy we had to switch it off and then we freeze. They said that it is the way it is???

We had a very nice stay at this property. My only complaint has nothing to do with the hotel itself but the property sits at the corner of two very busy streets and the noise from them is pretty fierce.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was big, clean, comfortable with a balcony. The bed was very comfortable. The rooftop provides amazing view of the skyline. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast with a variety of choices.

The roof top patio area was awesome! The venue we went to for a concert was only one mile away.

I was looking for a hotel close to the Salt Shed that would accommodate myself and 4 teenagers in one room and this was perfect! Valet parking was quick and convenient and the continental breakfast was great! The staff were all very nice and helpful (we were even able to check in early) Unfortunately the rooftop was closed for a private event but plenty of food options right across the street. I would definitely stay here again!

The experience was great I got a big room with the two queens and a pull out couch but the bed for the pull out couch was unusable. So my brother just put it back together and slept on the couch itself

Getting to where we needed to be was easy. Valet parking convenient yet pricy, however worth it.

Stayed here for a show we were going to at the salt shed (about a 15 minute walk from this hotel) and it was honestly a pleasant surprise how wonderful it was. I booked it for convenience, but it might just be my top choice for when I come here. Lovely rooftop bar and a wonderful view of the city skyline, amazing at sunset and at night. The room was huge, was quiet, the air conditioning kept the room nice and cool and came with a mini fridge to use. Loved the bathroom and there was also mini kitchen on the lobby floor that we could use to warm up food at night. Overall, pleasant stay and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Chicago.

Had a wonderful experience! The staff was so courteous and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable! My only complaint is the parking fee. For the amount of money spent on the room, parking should absolutely be included. Having an additional $55 per night charge is quite expensive in my opinion.

The hotel was nice. Staff was nice. The rooftop bar/restaurant was nice. The only issue was cars doing burnouts in the middle of the street right outside our window at 2:30 in the morning for extended periods of time. This obviously isn’t the hotels fault, but it definitely disturbed us.

Staff was rude. They said our room would be available when we called ahead but then said it wasn’t ready when we arrived with no explanation of why. Desk clerks were condescending and rudely shouted “girls!” to get the attention of our group of adults, not all of whom were even women.

Loved how quiet the hotel was. The staff was really helpful and helped me store a birthday cake in their kitchen.

Stayed a night for a concert at The Salt Shed. Very convenient and walkable. Late night restaurant choices close by. Valet parking was easy and the check in desk was so quick and friendly! Our room was an amazing 67 degrees, comfy bed and clean.

I booked a room with two beds. Traveling with an elderly friend who ended sleeping on a not so comfortable couch. Expedia SOLD me a room that wasn't available and I got what I didn't pay for. I should get a price adjustment.

Really enjoyed the stay at this hotel. Chicago is crazy busy and a wild city to visit. Uber/Lift is crazy expensive and parking is impossible. I called the hotel asking about available parking and they assured me they had a lot. When I got there, it was actually $55 per night for valet.

I went to Chicago with my boyfriend to see Jutes at Subterranean. We stayed at the Hyatt in Wicker Park. It was so clean, comfortable and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing. The location was by everything and a great walking distance. The hotel helped make my trip on of the best. Only second to Jutes singing Vertigo acoustically. Which made me tear up from happiness. Chicago has great food and the rooftop of the Hyatt had the best view and delicious food and desserts. I 100% recommend staying here.

Was supposed to be 2 beds and a sofa sleeper. There was only 1 bed. Horrible part of chicago to stay in, the whole area was run down.

The hotel was in great shape and my room was great. Angelica was very friendly and made our stay even better.

We went for a girls weekend. We enjoyed the rooftop bar. It was march but it had heaters. Valet was convenient and quick. $50 and come and go as much as you please. We walked the neighborhoods nearby the following day and it was safe and beautiful. Would stay again
