Hotel Colonial Ciudad Juarez

Staff was proper but never mentioned the requirements for a pets stay. I called them before making the reservation to make sure what was needed and how much it was.

Swimming pool. Parking No ice machine Shower head spray has no pressure Water in shower take too long to drain Rooms too hot when you leave. The air conditioner turns off automatically We stay 2 days. They don't clean our room. They dont put towels on the shower.

I love that the property was closed in , the pool and facilities were both great. Security was also great. Clean well kept.

The location was very convenient They can maybe self check after the cleaning lady is done so the guest doesn’t find hair dust and dried pee in the bathroom/shower also for the price they are stingy with the towels,no microwave no refrigerator, no ice machine

The staff was very helpful. We stayed 3 days and they helped me with the booking app because there was a slight mishap for the first night but they helped me get everything worked out. I would definitely recommend this hotel and everything you need is within a few blocks. Just be careful for the taxi's they are a rip off. Use DIDI for the best price

Beds, swimming pool. The restaurants are not very close, there is only one convenience store and you have to cross a busy street to get there. The television was broken and there were only a handful of channels. The batroom floods with the shower water as there is no separation to contain it.

Staff was great. Room was okay- what you would expect from Mexico budget accommodations. Other guests were loud. They kept locking and unlocking cars until about 0300 and the horn honked every time they did. 2 different times they left between 0100 and 0200 for a beer run and were rather loud upon return. Not good sleep due to these interruptions.

The location is great right by the border bridge. The rooms are very old and tired. They could use serious remodeling. No ice available, very dirty mattress and smelly pillows. Will never stay there again.

Mattresses are not comfortable, rooms need an upgrade.

Room was clean. I would have appreciated tissue paper as the slot was empty. I also noticed there was coffe in the lobby the next morning, would have been nice if the staff shared this when we first checked in.

Ended up having to pay extra money at checkout after they told me a different total when I first checked in will never be coming back to this hotel ever again. Woke us up at 2AM to inform us about another charge after the first charge They also failed to inform us about the marathon that was held the day we were going to check out so roads were closed & the rooms smell

Need to have a stool under the shower so I can take a shower due to the fact that I’m in wheelchair they never had one

El personal es de primera, blanquita en recepción, siempre buscando la forma de que tu estadía sea de lo más placentero, Lupita y todo el personal de limpieza y mantenimiento, solo agradecimiento tengo para todos, y nos vemos pronto. Mi lugar favorito en Juárez , personal e instalaciones de primera.

The room wasn't as clean as it should be. The bathroom was dirty, the only towels provided are 2 bath towels, no wash cloths or hand towels. You can not check in before 3 pm, not even 5 minutes early. No coffee available on premises. Grounds were clean and well maintained, parking lot is tight if the hotel is full. Remote for TV requires a deposit before getting from front desk.

Sería excelente si tuvierán cafetera, microwave y refri en sus habitaciones. Poner toallas, agua y jabones de acuerdo a la cantidad de huespedes que esten en ese momento en esa habitación .

My big disappointment was that when I did the booking, I chose a room suppose has a mixed bathroom: shower and bath, but the room which given me didn't have. so they changed my booking or they have set up wrong information to Expedia app.So i feel defraud, whichever was the reason they lied me.

When I booked my room it has a king side bed, when we showed up at the hotel they had give it to someone else, i asked why and the receptionist told me that they didn't have none so we ended up with a double bed, we will not staying in the hotel again!

Terrible place to stay. The front desk ladies were rude and not helpful. The ramp for wheelchair is broken and unusable. They tried to charge us more for things we did not use. They did not allow us to pick up and drop off my family members as there is a “no visitor” policy. Terrible place!!!

We had a terrible experience with staff they don’t allow visitors not even for a couple of hours and if your are bringing your mother from out of town to spend the weekend and they don’t allow you to go an visit, not staying just visit it sucks we had to go to the park chamizal and out restaurant to be together

Nos emos hospedado algunas ocasiones sin problema, esta ultima ves el cuarto 130 que nos toco tenia fuerte olor a humedad-orina. No fue posible cambiar de cuarto porque el hotel estaba lleno

The rooms are super dated, no services, the showers flood and was told this is just a common issue they have. Dirty and torn towels. The sink flooded, there was no toilet paper and the wifi was so slow they may as well not have it. For the price it's ridiculous. Nothing like the photos

Atencion solo no me gusto el piso baño y la calefaccion nunca funciono aventaba el aire friio.

I liked that they had gated parking and nearby restaurant. I did not like that I had to give a deposit for the iron & tv control; that breakfast was not included, that the bedding and facilities are super old & need repairs and the pool was dirty.

I won’t stay there again, why. there’s no remote control for tv, no ice machine, no telephone in the room, it said play room nothing works and extra fees when you get there.

Our room was never cleaned. Had to call and ask for toilet paper. There was no bath matt, they didn't supply shampoo and conditioner, the towels were so thin, it was just plain terrible. I will never stay here again and do not recommend it to anyone,

Everything was perfect. Don jesus the security guy at night is the best he help us with our heavy suitcases and was extremly nice. Reception staff too. Had travel to diferent countries and stayed in 5 start hotels many times had never encounter a person that goes the extra mile to give the best customer service like Don Jesus hope management read this review and appreciate what an amazing team they have. Will definitely stay here again.

I didn't like anything. Horrible and real bad looking rooms and parking lot. It seems like an abandon fill. Room are nothing do with expedia pictures and description . I would never recommend this hotel.

The price for the hotel was to much for the room. The furniture/appliances extremly outdated.

Love the area clean pools. Our room 239 was very outdated nothing like pictures online (my sisters room was as listed online, couldn’t switch rooms as hotel was sold out) Room needs better lighting too dark, broken hanging light fixture near window, curtains missing clips would not close had to use bobby pin. Only given half roll of toilet paper. When issues were addressed they asked us to write it down & put in comments box. At checkout advised we didn’t have a remote for tv, were told we were supposed to request it & leave deposit was not informed of this during check in. Not worth $89 dollars.

Location is good, but... Time to check in takes for ever, they ask for a deposit for everything, towels, remote control for the tv, Wich we never get. The AC did not work, jus to towels in the room, ask for more and never get them. Soap, and bathroom bathroom articles very limited. And access to the rooms very complicated. Do not recommend this place at all

Pools were nice. But didnt enjoy that couldn't have food or certain things around pool area. No toilet paper just the one already there. No phone to call from desk and front desk people not to happy or friendly.

Privacy and clean

I travel a lot, mostly in the USA. In the last few years finding a clean hotel has been a challenge. I’m beginning to get a phobia about it after 3 incidences of bedbugs along with the usual sloppy room cleaning. This place is nice. The housekeeping is excellent. The staff very helpful albeit Spanish speaking. Security is very good. You even get your own wifi password. You will have to put a deposit for your towels and remote control but it’s minimal and there’s probably a reason for it. I would happily return here again.

No good enough. when we regesterd we had to make a deposit that we knew nothing bout till we got there. 500.00 pesos, for tv remote control and we'll use of room... first time I've heard of something like this, when we got to the room tv wasn't working, bathroom very slippery, and they don't supply a rug. Big safety hazzard. Then we went to the pool, used the towels, if we wanted an extra towel, there was another fee of 200 pesos for each towel, there was a dead cockroach on one side of the bed, an in the bathtub there were many small cockroaches. The mattress was worn on one side. Making it hard to get a good rest.

Bad experience, the front desk personal weren’t rude , but incompetent, I reserved 2 rooms , my confirmation email n receipt showed the 2 rooms being charged and they only showed 1 , we got there at 3 Wich is check in and it was 9 pm and they never gave me the 2 nd room , the rooms smelled dingy from old dirty carpeting , very outdated , bed looked hard , the tv remote did not work , the only thing I liked was a clean pool , Wich we had to hang out there while they resolved the issue of the 2 nd room , I contacted Hotels.com n they weren’t of any help either , I had to spend an additional fee to get another room , still waiting on a refund .

The room was dirty. Bed sheets were dirty. We took everything off the bed and placed towels to sleep. It was that dirty. We cancelled the second night.

I like the staff very friendly and helpfulness.But the hotel is not in very good conditions as you guys show in the pictures. Those pictures are old when the hotel was in good condition. The carpets are worn and dirty. The furnitures old. No towels for the pool and matt for the shower. Room doors don't have a security look. Telephone wasn't working till. I did request change of room and they did it but the 2nd room the same history. I'll rate this hotel as 1 o maybe 2 stars. I personally don't recommend to stay here.

No food no alcohol no smoking on pool area ,no restaurant no bar on site 😏, .Rooms are ok.

The air conditioning in the rooms was sub par especially during these hot summer nights. Hopefully they think of upgrading to newer units. Over all have stayed here at colonial a few times and service has been awesome.

This has honestly been the worst experience in my life. The room had no heater, and the temps were 14-17 degrees. We got woken up by a lady screaming down the hallways in spanish "help, help me". Security and front desk did nothing. This was going on for about 45 mins. They had no blankets, only 2 sheets on the beds. Room was flithy, had not been vacummed. We will NEVER stay here again. I don't care if the night is FREE. I contacted Hotels.com and I am still waiting for a response. I had my kids and 80yr old mother with me. Please do not stay here....

The room was good but the Ad for the hotel showed mini fridge microwave and hair dryer. This room had none. When I asked front desk if I could get these I was told it would be double the price I was paying now. Very deceptive

No alcohol policy, no room service, no restaurant service, thanks God for Uber Eats, no ice machine. Had to go to the corner store and ge a pack of disposable glasses, ice and water, toilet seat completely broken. Hair dryer not working. I was requested for a cash security deposit... CASH! Luckily i had cash with me, I usually don't.

You should know that the hotel is close and is going to b open until July 15 why are you giving deal knowing that this hotel it’s been close since 2 month ago. You are very un responsable doing this

The hotel was closed for renovations i was not provided with a room i was not given acess to the property why charge and confirm a customer to a closed hotel I had to find a different hotel at 3 times the price and whats worst i have another reservation for wednesday that i have to cancel now.

No WiFi during are whole stay had to call multiple times to get what we asked for tv was did not have signal.

This will be the last time that I stayed there the room smelled like dog the sheets were very old and yellow the blanket was like from 1950 and the heater did not work. The pillows are flat very flat there was no Comfort at all for the four days that I stayed there so I don't recommend anybody go there and stay.

The WiFi sucked. It got disconnected every 5 minutes. Needs to be repainted. And it says they have a shuttle to air port and when we where they wanted to charge us for the ride to airport. Staff was very nice and helpful. Everything was clean as well and very safe.
