Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Clarksville, TN

It took longer than normal to check in and the staff member had a rude sense of humor. The room was a good size and clean. There were plenty of towels. The AC unit wasn’t working correctly. The dial is not in-sink properly so you have to guess what temperature it’s on. The breakfast was hot and delicious and worth the cost to stay at the hotel. The pool is indoors and small which was a disappointment. There’s plenty of parking around the premises and lots of places to walk to.

Property is nice, rooms were quiet and the black out shades do a great job. Hotel was in a great location not too far from 2 freeways. A lot of things to do within a half mile radius I would recommend this place and would stay here again

There was a storm that I was going to have to drive through and I was waiting it out. This housekeeper ruined a perfect score for you guys. Maybe teach them not to bang on the doors and treat your guests very rudely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, as long as you leave as early as possible.

The breakfast was ok so far 1. The room was supposed to be cleaned automatically after 7 days, which did not happen. 2. I also found toys and remnants from the previous occupant, which means the room wasn't cleaned properly. 3. The drain in the sink was clogged. The cleaning staff must have noticed this, but nobody did anything about it. 4. The refrigerator was constantly running, so my food froze. I reported this, but no one did anything about it. I had to turn the refrigerator off completely overnight so that I wouldn't have frozen food in the morning. 5. The air conditioning is so loud that I had to turn it off overnight. 6. The internet sometimes failed and was extremely slow.

Don't go by the room descriptions and definitely not by the pictures. You walk into the room and you are in the bathroom. Turn right and the toilet is leaking water all over the floor. Jump in the shower and it drains so slow that the tub starts to fill up. Towels are scratchy. The bed was comfortable. However, it is displayed as Queen beds. Nope - they are double beds. When I went down and said something to the staff - I got the reply that they are double queens. Really??? Did not try the breakfast and the 1 elevator takes a while and is always full. I would not recommend this place at all. Crazy thing is I paid extra compared to nearby places thinking this would be nicer. Boy was I wrong.

Breakfest was decent. Chicken pucks. Eggs and potatoes. The hot sauce was good. Yogurt was frozen but made it taste like organic sherbet.

The location was decent. Alot of food options grocery stores and gas stations nearby. Staff was friendly The lobby area was the cleanest and nicest part of the building. The rooms were decently clean, but you could see a lot of Filth, especially around the windowsills and some mold growth on the walls in the bathroom. The bathroom door didn't close We were traveling on long distance and too tired to get our money back and go somewhere else so we just stuck it out. At least the sheets have been changed

Ive stayed here a couple times and rooms were just ok. This time I stayed in a king suite and it was the worst yet. Maintenence on this property is lacking! There was a literal hole in the shower with a tile missing and the tub was caving inward.Black mold water damage on ceiling, microwave above stove was broke they did put another 1 in there on top of the fridge but the broke one was still somehow disgustingly greasy. Overall the room was a mess.

OH MY! Our room had exposed wires in the kitchenette, a giant hole in the ceiling to the left of the microwave. The popcorn ceiling in the kitchenette/dining/couch room was falling off of the ceiling. Nasty stained and worn window dressing.I have photos.

Clean, comfortable bed, great staff. Very busy area in Clarksville, with shopping and restaurants nearby. It helps to use the back entrance of the parking lot to go to a street with a traffic signal, because traffic is heavy. Hotel is one of the best. Enjoyed our stay. Everything about the hotel is wonderful. The back parking lot entrance pavement needs some maintenance.

Hotel was very nice as a whole, staff was excellent. But the room was loud in this regard: when the room next door ran the shower or the sink, it was loud enough to be disturbing to us in our room.

I will no longer stay at this County Inn & Suites. Property to me has gone down for the cost per night.

Elevator was broken and we were on 4th floor and are not able to climb stairs. This created a major issue! The one good thing was the action of staff to move us down to 1st floor!! BIG THANKS TO THEM FOR THEIR ASSISTANCE! EVERYTHING ELSE WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE HAVE HAD!!

The breakfast was very good and the staff were attentive. The beds were too firm for me and the pillows were flat, and not supportive. There was plenty of parking. The room was clean but the spigot in the bathtub did not work properly, and the sink didn’t drain well. It was adequate.

The breakfast was decent. The pool was very small, but great for small groups. I would say any more than 8 people is gonna be very crowded. The front desk staff was very helpful. The real value was the price to quality ratio. This is a very decent property at below average pricing. Great for families on a budget.

It was a decent hotel, definitely not high end. We had plenty of space. There were screws holding the window locks in place. The bathroom wall was coming apart from water getting between surround and wall. The toilet paper was low budget. The chairs had stains all over them. Only half the outlets worked in the room. We had a suite and only 1 of the tv's worked. The pool was indoor and was not heated. My kids grew cold quickly.

Decent hotel for the price. The pool is extremely small. The a/c was not able to cool the room efficiently in mid-April. Breakfast was on par for a hotel at the price.

Parking was good. The hotel itself realaly could use updating. The lobby looks like a newer building but the hallways to the rooms had a horrible amell maybe very old cigarette smoke. The rooms could use help also very outdated, furniture was old wuth rips, the sofa bed was probably the original bed and the blankets already on it were stained.

The hotel was okay- big rooms, comfy beds, but some peeling paint in the bathroom and a little dirty in the bath as well. The big problem was that when we arrived they did not have our reservation booked through Hotels.com and this took over half an hour to sort out. That was painful at the end of a long day.

The room although had some issues. Paint pealing on the ceiling. Commode ran unless you wiggled the handle. Shower had no water pressure. The work out area was closed for electronic problems and the 1 elevator was iffy.

The room smelled like it was closed for extended period of time. The curtains were dusty and stained. The carpet had horrible stains as well. The shower drain was super slow. We always spray disinfectant in the beds and use our own sheets to sleep. However, that didn’t help much with the smell.

Then my key card was cut off by 9am when checkout is not until noon. I was trying to take stuff out to the car and got locked out. I had to walk around to the front door in the rain. Instead of activating my card, he said he would come open the door for me. Not acceptable.

First room was dirty upon arrival, not at all the quality expected from a Country Inn and Suites. Arrived tired and ready to rest and my room was not clean. The toilet had urine stains and the sink was broken. Had to take everything downstairs and ask for another room. I was met with mild annoyance by the front desk. Second room was much better, better furnishings, not so old and in neeed of repair. It made me wander if I got a budget room since I booked through a 3rd party. The property is in need of refurb. One positive, the ladies preparing breakfast did a wonderful job. They were kind and cared about their work, really made for a great morning.

Continental breakfast was good. Small pool, but decent hours and indoor. Nice fitness room. Plenty of seating in the common areas. Nice variety of pamphlets of things to do. Got the key card reprogrammed twice, but I think the second time was my user error! Staff was extremely friendly

Annual trip south for winter stay…have stayed at this hotel for many years when heading to Florida. Room more than adequate for our needs - suites are large and clean, our top priority. Located in rather congested area with tons of shopping and restaurants. Handy! Rates extremely competitive and staff very friendly and accommodating.

The lobby is gorgeous and well taken care of. You can definitely tell it's an older building and has rowdy customers from time to time. Our hotel room door lock looks like it was at one time busted in and was like half fixed. There was also a cockroach in the bathroom. It does seem like they are slowly upgrading everything and are trying to make the hotel better.

Staff were courteous. Stayed in a two room ‘suite’ which included a small kitchenette which made it worth the upgrade. The room, and hotel itself, needs some love. While surface areas appeared clean, large carpet stains were on the floor, furniture was stained and/or torn. Bathroom door had been pried open at some point. Plus, the mattress was uncomfortable. I didn’t hate it, but the building needs a refresh.

The carpet looked stained in the first room of our suite and the TV didn't work in the bedroom despite the staff giving us another remote. The beds were not very comfortable.

Greeting was excellent. The single issue was that the key cards were not activated, so we had to return to the desk. It was, then, activated and fixed.

Furnas controls had dried gunk on them. There was blood on the window shade. i woke up to bug bits on my feet and leg. I will be notifying the Radisson Corporation.

The toilet in my hotel room was not accommodating because it was too low to the floor. I had a terrible time getting up after using it. I was told that the only handicap accessible rooms had the kingsize beds and I had 2 doubles. This needs to be changed. I had to go to the lobby and use the handicap toilet in the public restroom.

Really nice place to stay when visiting Clarksville. My 2nd stay and I will be back. For the price it checks all the boxes; clean, convenient and quiet.

Mattress was dirty and stained. base of toilet very dirty, When we made the reservation, the picture and description showed a room with separate bedroom and fold couch in living area, however are room was just one room and a foldout couch. Called front desk and they said it was a “partial suite”. And they didn’t have any of the 2 room suites available.

Only real complaint is that I couldn't watch ESPN so I went to the hotel across the street to watch the Football game.

We had a queen suite with a kitchen- it was definitely clean and we liked that! I understand it gets used for extended stays and the furniture and carpets were stained and well used and tended to smell- also the mattresses were quite hollowed out.. I can imagine it's not possible to update those rooms as frequently as they might need it and perhaps an update is on the books! The breakfast was delicious and the boys enjoyed the pool!

We pulled off on this exit looking for a clean and comfortable place to rest before continuing on our cross-country roadtrip. There were a lot of options, but Country Inn seemed like a safe choice. The first several reviews on Hotels.com were 10/10 or 8/10, but now I'm seriously questioning if they are fake. Even on its best day, this hotel is not a 8/10, let alone a 10/10. Check in was chaotic. We had to move rooms multiple times due to the horrible smell and a broken toilet handle. Lamp shades were torn, ceilings were peeling, only the first floor ice machine worked. We wanted to relax after a long day of traveling, but instead spent several hours working to resolve the issues with our rooms. Eventually, the front desk clerk offered an "Apology Gift Basket" (whatever that means). We declined the offer, but it was quite telling that they just happen to keep Apology Gift Baskets on hand. Due to the room issues, we never had a chance to take our kids to swim, so I cannot comment on the pool. The lobby area was nice and looked like it had been recently updated.

We checked in to find garbage in our 'clean' room. Room was seemed damp and not overly clean. While we were sleeping we heard a loud noise, like an explosion. The refrigerator/freezer had not been cleaned out and a can of pop exploded in the freezer, it really scared us. The breakfast was subpar as well. I couldn't wait to get out of that hotel.

The 1st room we got smelled bad and incredibly musty and damp feeling. They gave us a different room, which was better but still smelled musty and felt really damp. We all woke up feeling blah. The pool is TINY, imagine an extra large hot tub and that’s what this one is. The pool room was incredibly run down. The ceiling tiles had mold and you could see they tried to paint over some, instead of replacing. The whole place is in need of a major overhaul.

The hotel exceeded my expectations for the cost. It had plenty of room for myself, my daughter, and her three children (6 yo boy and twin girls-3 yo). The full-size fridge and microwave was a godsend when we got in from our long road trip to feed the kids and store what we needed to. There was a cute little dining table that the twins got a kick out of (and kept them from making a mess!). The kids loved the pool and I loved that they could eat a delicious breakfast and that I could work out in the fitness center. It was close to many things we needed-food and gas, etc. The beds were reasonably comfortable, including the pullout couch bed that the kids slept on. Overall I am very pleased with the hotel, although it was a little dated and some of the furnishings were worn.

The bed was nice and firm. Pillows weren’t the greatest. Shower was great. Water pressure was what makes a shower good. Now it did have a musty smell when we got to our room. We got up expecting to get breakfast before getting back on the road and found no scrambled eggs but sausage and tarot tots. It was 7:20 and breakfast started at 6:30. They had 2 bagels and the only muffins looked to be lemon poppy seed. Seen 2 employees sitting in the area to prepare food and they were having breakfast. I get they deserve breaks but people who book a hotel that has breakfast should have it stocked.

My only complaint is the carpet. It smells horrible. Please consider removing carpet. Most lodging facilities are removing carpet.

One of the arm chairs felt damp from sitting in front ac, tub would start filling up while showering, sink didnt drain good either, had a leak from above in the kitchenette area, not sure what it was, if it was the toilet from upstairs or what, thankfully the leak was the day we were leaving.

This hotel was clean quite comfortable and a wonderful hotel! We will definitely stay there again. They had free coffee in the evening. The only downside was the biscuits in the morning were kinda hard but let’s be honest…it’s hard to keep those fresh. Overall a great comfortable affordable stay!!

Only thing i wish i knew was when scheduling through a 3rd party like the Expedia you have to have a $25 deposit which is kinda crazy to me because I would’ve just got it directly. Another thing is I’m 8 months pregnant i would’ve appreciated when i asked for extra pillows they would’ve been more accommodating, because i never ask for r anything when i try at hotels but being pregnant it’s hard trying to sleep an the pillows would’ve been great. Other than that it wasn’t a bad stay.

The staff was good but the property needs some serious cleaning. First thing you see when you walk in is a giant stain in the carpet, followed by a crack in the couch in our room, and dirty shower head, hole in wall and the list goes on. This place needs a serious deep clean.

The entire staff was nice! The front desk lady with blonde or red hair was nice the entire stay, she help us majority of our stay and your head housekeeper is amazing! She was soo nice every time I seen her, always had a smile on her face!

The hotel was just average, that thing was a little concerning is that the room smelled really musty. It seemed apparent to me that they were trying to mask it by the air freshener type smell that there was in all of the hallways.

Rooms need upgrades. The elevator floor covering had bear spots. The 1st room had a damp smell, a commercial extension cord wrapped around the base boards, set in stains on the bed coverings and sheets. Stains on the floor. 2nd room was a little cleaner, but not much. The air conditioner did not work well and had a damp spot underneath. There were stains on the carpet. T.V. was small and needed to be programmed to get reception. Staff was very nice and tried hard to be helpful.

It’s a bit dated and could use a deep clean. But I felt safe and it wasn’t noisy.

Very quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was great with plenty of options

Easy access

Bed was way too hard for my liking. Check in took a little longer than expected otherwise it was fine.

Everything was good. The only thing was the shower that wasn’t working well and the toiletries need an upgrade to full size like most of the other hotels from the same company, other than that was pretty good, quiet and smooth. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Room had an old smell to it. Facility is definitely due for an upgrade. Just wasn’t impressed with this hotel at all.

Consistently satisfactory accommodations

Great location off the highway. We just stopped to sleep on our way home from Florida. Clean and comfortable rooms. Small heated pool my boys enjoyed.

Very nice and friendly staff and wish they open the breakfast early than 6:00 AM. Very nice place to stay.

Dirty marks on bathroom walls. Asked for towels for bathroom and they were waiting for laundry to be cleaned, when I returned 10pm they were left in hallway in a plastic bag.

There was mold in the bathroom and peeling paint. The fridge and bathroom fan did not work. Breakfast was good though.

If you are planning on staying here DONT. It needs major renovations.

I room overlooked the lobby which was uncomfortable. Otherwise it’s a decent stay.

Everything was fine except breakfast, a few cold powdered eggs left, only two chicken fried steaks left that were dried out terribly and unedible. I saw several people come and look and walk away, can't blame them. They finally did put out some fresh hot eggs with people standing waiting to get fresh food. No cheese or other toppings for eggs. Just very basic breakfast. Staff was sitting in chairs and not paying attention to buffet being refreshed. Just a small amount of coffee left in flasks, had to pump and pump to get enough for one cup and it wasn't very hot.

Very convenient right of I-24. The TV channel set up was unusual. They give you a list of 100 stations but only a portion of them are actually accessible, and if you enter the number wrong (the hotel has their own unique number linked to each channel...example 12-1 for Fox rather than 7...it totally screws up the remote. Hotel was very clean and affordable and front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was so-so but the price of the room offsets it so no big deal. Would stay again.

Very good. Loved the pool, food, and checking out at 12. Gave me longer to swim. The room was amazing, as was the service.

Greasy fingerprints on comforter and lamp shades Low of 8* the night we stayed and heater was blowing cold air .... desk clerk told us to turn thermostat up and see if it helped. It was 57* in room when we woke up next morning. Truck drivers in and out all night and truck noise from parking lot is ridiculous. Absolutely horrible place to stay.

Very disappointed the condition of our room was awful mold on the ceiling, smelled terrible, mirror was damaged and rusted no need to ask for another room the whole motel was run down

Front desk staff professional, but cordial. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Bathroom very tight, not much room. Hotel property off the highway, but hard to find at night. A little pricey, but would stay here again.

Good overnight stay with my kids. Pool was warm. Fitness center had several broken machines. Breakfast was decent, had multiple options beyond cold continental.
