Value, and potential. Finding a hotel that has an indoor pool for the kids in the off season is difficult. My problem, and I walked out with my kids after a couple hours there was the guests down the way we're doing things I didn't want my children around.. I was exhausted but booked another hotel at midnight and my anger got me the rest of the way to nashville. Staff were great. Facility wasn't bad for the price. Pretty decent location with stores and restaurants all around. The smell, the room smelled horrible and like I said. Other guests were doing things that I didn't want around my children.

Location: Econo Lodge & Suites Clarksville near Governors Square Mall Nasty with mold and mildew. Very unclean. Patched up walls . The chain on the door for added security had been moved around so much it was of no use.

Pool was not heated. No breakfast. Charged $4 fee upon arrival and check out but could not tell me what the fee was for. Took multiple attempts to open the room door due to lock mechanism not working properly. Sheets were stained. Did not feel safe.
- 1/5
Roaches was in there bad odor charged me extra for anything they felt they could!
- 1/5
Our room was filthy. Used comb on the nightstand, feces on toilet, clumps of hair on floor. This was the second time we have stayed at this location, first time gave them a pass thought maybe they had a bad day unfortunately seems like it is a standard.
- 1/5
This was the worst place I ever stayed at !!! There was mold and the disgusting the sheets, towels and bedding was gross had to keep going to front to get clean sheets after getting sheets from front desk . Also had one employee peeping thru windows . Was really pissed off . I would never recommend this place to anyone . Police were there a lot
- 3/5
The property was fine for what we needed it for. It's not the cheapest nor the most expensive but it served it's purpose, sleeping and showering. Great location tho!
- 4/5
Decent

The phone in the room didnt work. There was no deain atopper in the tub. We had to beg them to get a drain stopper. The rooms was nasty and there was mols on the curtain. They lied about havinf a pool.
- 1/5
The rooms were dirty, had water coming up from the floors, drunk people oitside, holes in the celing from water damage mold on the curtains

Mt only requirements are clean room and bed and pleasant people. I got all that and a pool. Bonus!!
- 4/5
I love the fact that they have decent looking/smelling smoking rooms. TV's/cable could use an upgrade.
- 4/5
I liked the fact that they have smoking rooms. Could use more than one trash can in the room. Need better cable provider or smart TV's.
- 3/5
Property needs an upgrade, however they do have smoking rooms.
- 3/5
A hotel that offers an indoor pool is great, until you realize that there is going to be noise heard inside the hotel. Being told that you are making noise and being loud, while there is a jazz band playing also inside the hotel, makes you wonder if you made the right decision. Also, the hotel should fix things like their jacuzzi when you hit the switch to turn on the jacuzzi. Singling out people doesn’t make the experience any better.
- 4/5
The tv was blurry and messed up and tub had some problems. But besids that. Was good stay
- 1/5
We checked in very late in the evening after an exhausting day, so we decided to stay even with the condition of the room. When the sun came up we could see how much dirtier the room was than we first realized. The only thing that appeared to have been done between visitors was the beds were made. There was smashed gum between the beds, rocks, visible garbage, food, pet hair and pills on the floors. The rag and mops used to clean surfaces previous to our stay were clearly dirty and only used in some areas. I understood that for the rate we got, that the hotel would be dated, and that is fine! But this level of uncleanliness was ridiculous! When we asked for a refund for the 2nd night, we were met with a bunch of hoops to jump through. We were so disappointed with our room, we never even looked at the pool ( the reason we picked this hotel) or the included breakfast
- 3/5
Room was clean. There was roaches but no bed bugs, thank God. Its good for the price you pay because we all know you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
It was ok needs some TLC
- 4/5
The beds & pillows were very comfortable & we slept great!! I was surprised how comfy they were!! We liked the vinyl flooring, especially when we came back from having a blast in the indoor pool. The bathroom was dingey with the floor & door trim needing repairs. But the bathtub was clean & the tub surround looked new. The outside of hotel could use some repair too. But we slept very comfortable & it served it's purpose for one night
- 1/5
Now bad. Parking lot was dirty. Trash everywhere. The pool was extremely cloudy and needs maintenance. The “workout” room was non existent and full of things (fridges and stuff). The exterior stairs and walkways need a very good pressure washer crew to spend an entire day on them. Now inside the room, AC was very loud and made a ton of noise. The lights sorta worked but only sometimes. And the bathroom light fixture had mold growing in it (I took it down and looked). And the shower, on the top of the shower walls had mold. Overall if I hadn’t drives 780 miles that day, I would have left. But I passed out. Choice hotels needs to look at the word “choice” and know that I will be looking at other hotels next time if this is the caliber of “choices” they provide.
- 1/5
Very dirty. Dog hair was all in room… ask for someone to come clean it or bring a broom… was told to come to front desk to get it. (Yeah right)… water was on in the bathroom… room smelled… phone was even dirty. Girl was knodding off while checking out it … it wasn’t because she was sleepy. My bags went out as quick as they came in. And pool wasn’t working was told it would be working the next day as if tgst would made us stay. It’s no for me.
- 1/5
Bathroom had mold on shower curtain and ceiling and tub. Roaches were present . And bed sheets and pioolow cases had stains . Hotel needs a major renovation . I checked out and went to another hotel at my own cost.
- 1/5
The room was moldy and no microwave and it was so bad with mold I was sick the next day
- 3/5
The room and bathroom were not in good conditions. You wouldn't want to touch the things in this room because of dust and very old blankets with holes. It's disappointing for the price we paid.
- 2/5
The lobby was very outdated. You have to enter your hotel room from outside the building instead of walking through the building. We were on the second floor & had to drag suitcases upstairs. Our shower did not drain out the water. Only one person was able to take a shower. Multiple flies were flying around in the room when we entered. Rust and lime scale around the sink faucet. Our toilet had black specks and lines on it. Odor in bathroom. Outdated shower curtain. Outdated bedding. Not comfortable beds. Tv only displayed a few channels. Channel 59 you could hear the show but you couldn’t see the tv show at all. Overall experience was terrible.
- 1/5
The floors were diry .the tub was stoped up.
- 1/5
The rooms are very poorly maintained! Door and window didn’t feel secure. Cleanliness a major issue. Room smelled were bad, like a smoking room. Not family friendly
- 1/5
Rooms rundown, moldy, damp feeling. Burn holes in bedding. Workout room closed. Fridge does not cool. One trash can for the entire room (not even in the bathroom).
- 1/5
This property was filthy, neglected, loud, and nothing like the pictures. The bathtub was dirty, the bathroom was disgusting, the pool was filthy, the floors were so dirty they stained our socks.
- 1/5
The place is outdated and dirty. There was black mold on the baseboards, the walls were filthy, bathroom was disgusting, toilets were loose from the floor, the shower head only sprayed water from one nozzle as the rest were caked with filth, toenail clippings were left on the floor, room smelled like cigarettes, burn holes and stains in the pillows and bedding, towels were stained, courtesy baby bed was more like a filthy death trap...
- 1/5
Staff was quite rude. Premises was not how images display cleanliness. Room was filthy, fridge had mold, shower and vanity area where dirty.
- 3/5
Not where I would usually stay but all of the hotels were booked her a few issues with my room but the manager was really really nice and helpful made all the difference he was very accommodating and helpful even offering to give a refund to make things right
- 4/5
Michelle was very nice when checking us in. There were stains on our sheets and cigarette holes and my pillow case had a stain (which looked like...I'm hoping....lip stick). The complimetany shampoo and conditioner bottles were half used. Other than those things it was OK. Plenty of places to eat around the area.
- 5/5
I come here a lot when I am visiting my son, it’s in a great area very friendly and very clean!
- 2/5
Sheet and blankets head cigarette holes in them. The Mini fridge was not working and had standing water in it. And the pool was not very clean. And found bugs in the morning when we were leaving
- 4/5
Very good!
- 2/5
Was asked to make a $50 room deposit 3.74 tax. Was told it would be returned when I checked out. The next morning when I checked out they said it would be 2-10 days to get my deposit back. I asked why and they said it was because it was Sunday and the bank was closed. I said that shouldn't make a difference because it was on my debit card and you don't need the bank to be open to do a refund.
- 3/5
It was clean but the people on night sucked very short tempered hateful man behind counter
- 4/5
The only problem was two lamps didn't work. Everything else was good.
- 3/5
Not so good card was double charged . Didn't get the room I booked because it was "under construction". Yet it was available the next day and I was charged for the original room. Owner advised me America Express wasnt a real bank so it wasn't his problem I was doubled charged
- 2/5
Our first room was locked from the inside, was locked outside the lobby for 5 minutes ringing the bell before someone came to help (had to call the front desk). Second room was NOT clean!
- 1/5
Roaches in the room . Cigarette holes in the pillow cases in a non smoking room. Smelled worse than a smoking room yet they wanted a deposit in case we smoked!!! Reg beds not queen size .dripped water in the toilet!
- 1/5
Bedding was filthy, door lock broken. Moved to another room that was just as bad plus smelled like a dirty kennel and had paint splattered on the bedding. Nasty, did not stay there!
- 1/5
The guy that runs the hotel tries to charge you more then what you owe.
- 2/5
Better hotels for that price are in the area!! At first least clean good!😞
- 4/5
NEED TO DEFROST REFRIGERATOR COULDN'T PUT 6 PK COKE IN BECAUSE SO MUCH ICE IN TOP SHELF
- 4/5
We stay around the area frequently. This was our first stay here. Staff was amazing and accommodating...we arrived early and they cleaned the room and got us in so we could sleep. They catered to our needs and were just good people.
- 5/5
The management and staff here were great my stay was 5 days long my only complaint would be the breakfast great location
- 1/5
there was blood on the sheets where I slept.
- 4/5
Check in was quick! Room had a smell of mildew/moisture. Room was clean but walls had some type of dried stains which may explain the smell! Room was not bad and bed was clean and comfortable. Had to use this motel since it was last minute and everything else was booked!
- 1/5
The only good thing avout this property was the staff. They were as helpful as they could be. I asked for management to call me on our last day, and never received a call. The rooms were filthy with cigarette burns everywhere on the linens and it reeked of smoke. On the last night someone was smoking pot next door. Staff said they couldn't do anything about it but we could leave. There were homeless people outside milling around. I didn't feel safe at all. This was one of my worst experiences with a hotel, ever.
- 4/5
Nothing unique but a low cost stay.
- 4/5
Hotel is older but it was clean. Nice to have hardwood flooring. Shower had good pressure and hot water! Convenient location to restaurants. The only downfall was some mildew/black mold on the ceiling in my mil’s bathroom.
- 3/5
I liked that there wasn’t carpet in the room but the room had not been cleaned well before we checked in. There was a dirty towel hanging on the back of the bathroom door, the shampoo was already used, there were water bottles all over even in the night stand that were already drank from and the coffee pot still had coffee grounds in it. All of this was left from the last guests who had used the room. The fact that I had to leave a $54.00 deposit to stay in a dirty room that I had paid for in advance makes me not want to ever stay there again.
- 4/5
The beds were incredibly comfortable! The rooms need a good deep clean though! The floors were very dirty, like they have never been mopped! House keeping staff was a hot mess!
- 2/5
Hotel bedding had many cigarette burns. Toilet wobbled and made a loud noise every time you sat down. Desk lady was nice but clueless on working the computer apparently so sat on the phone entire time.
- 1/5
DO NOT pre pay! They charged my card twice! When I reserved the room, I put card number in. They processed my card, which is understanding but once I checked in, they charged my card again.
- 4/5
No towels in room, not otherwise mostly pleasant stay.
- 3/5
Clerk was nice, but did not stand up to her word. We had an issue with poop stains in the toilet, a roll of tissue that had fallen in the toilet and left there for us to use, but you could see the urine stain on it. Lighting was poor, very dim. Sink had a crack in it that needed to be repaired, but left un repaired. So the clerk offered to give me and my non a discount and pretended she didn’t remember she said she was. Meaning she didn’t do it, nor bought it up, so we didn’t. We decided to just let it go. She was nice and expressed concern, but still failed to do something in the end. It makes customers lose trust, not return and leave a review like this. I really didn’t want to. It took two days fir me to leave this. But I thought about it and felt like it was necessary because she did not hold up her word. Flat out lied. On a professional note, the situation was not handled properly.

Absolutely disgusting nasty awful place. Gross gross gross. And I am not a knit picky person.
- 1/5
My first room the bedding was dirty the bathroom walls were dirty. The light fixture in the bathroom was coming out of the ceiling, and also had credit cards in the ceiling which I found odd. My second room was no better, the bedding had burn holes in it. The pool has chlorine tabs in it and was slippery, I just stuck my foot in because it was so gross. The picture on the sites make it not look so bad but it was so horrible, that we left at 6 am!!! I have stayed in better places than this for the same price. This place was just awful!! The only plus the front desk clerk was a sweetheart!!
- 2/5
This place was not clean, especially the floor, and the room smelled even though it was a non-smoking room. We were woke up in the middle of the night by loud music being played in the parking lot. Would never stay here again!
- 1/5
The room was not very clean, floors were dirty! Hated the sheets, they made me hot. It was way overpriced, they didnt honor my Hotels.com price, charged for my pets! Very loud sqealing noise????? All night long, i couldn't sleep, sounded like it was in the water pipes. I understand the liminted breakfast but what they offered was a joke, and the coffee was horrible!!!!!
- 2/5
We had 2 double rooms and initially check in was great. Once we got to our room, only one of them, it smelled horrible, had stains and burn holes from cigarettes and sheets were dirty. We had 2 dogs with us, so just dealt with it. The beds need replaced! We kept having issues with the door key. After the 6th time, we asked to be moved. They did get us moved and the room was much better. Traffic was a mess on this road! Not really the hotels fault, but it’s definitely good to know if you decide to stay here. Breakfast was minimal, due to COVID, but plenty of places to eat nearby! Personally, I feel if they took the time to repair things and keep smoking rooms and non smoking rooms separate, the hotel would be great! We however will not return.
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable. Nice bed good service
- 1/5
Terrible looked like a crime scene, door wouldn’t lock sketchy people around
- 5/5
Very clean hotel . It’s close to various shopping and eating choices .
- 5/5
My stay was very comfortable and the management was very nice and informative. The staff was very courteous and the Room was really clean.
- 5/5
Nice place, nice people, clean, quite, everything you need it within walking distance!
- 2/5
The front desk service was great. However there was what looked to be mold in our fridge, the bathroom door didn’t shut, there was a cigarette burn hole in our blanket, and ashes in the window sill. There was also blood marks on the sheet that looked like it was from bed bugs. We specifically asked for a nonsmoking room and had 2 children with us.
- 1/5
Room was not cleaned
- 1/5
Service sucks... They don't care if your money got taken by the machine or not. They're lying about the "heater" in the pool.. because I went in and felt the water. It's fine.... They're rude. Loud. And have horrible people skills.
- 5/5
The staff was really kind and helpful. Especially the front desk lady. I'm not sure her name but she made my day better. Thank you so much 😁😁😄😄🤗😂😂😂
- 1/5
We had roaches in our room, the floor tiles were busted and loose, they told us 10 dollars for early check in over the phone then charged us 20 when we got there not to mention our floor was disgusting with leaves all over the room. Not at all pleased. One positive thing was the beds were comfortable.
- 1/5
When we walked into the room, there were over a dozen flies in the room. We spent a good amount of time killing them. There was so much dust, you could write your name on the furniture. There was a partial half gallon of milk and a cup of something yellow in the refrigerator. There was a used bar of soap in the tub. The handle on the tub was also broken. The bed covers were in desperate need of replacing. There was some stench that came about Saturday night/Sunday morning. I chose EconoLodge because they offered breakfast. After seeing the room, I really didn't want to eat there. McDonald's was just across the street. I'll be back to Clarksville, but I won't stay at this EconoLodge.
- 1/5
The hotel was not clean. When we walked in, there were at least a dozen flies. We killed most of them. The dust was so thick you could write your name on the furniture. Then there was a partial half gallon of milk left in the refrigerator along with something yellow in a cup. I'm guessing that both had been there for a while. There was a half of a bar of soap left in the shower. The handle on the shower was broken. The bed covers were old and in desperate need of replacement. There was no remote control for the TV. I chose this hotel at booking in part because they had a free breakfast. After seeing the room, we went to McDonald's across the street for breakfast. I won't be returning to EconoLodge in Clarksville, TN.
- 3/5
When I first entered my room the smoke detector was chirping every 2 minutes. I immediately returned to the front desk and I was provided with a room change.
- 2/5
This was one of the worst stays I've ever stayed the owner was rude the ac wasn't working the phone wasn't working the knob on the shower came off when you try and turn on the water and the owner was very rude when the issues was brought to his attention.
- 1/5
Dirty bed sheets w hair and dirt! Dirty bed sheets w hair and dirt
- 2/5
The room smelled. Floor was dirty, room service always brought dirty towels. There were cigarette burns on the blankets.
- 1/5
Lady on night shift was disrespectful and rude. First room we got was a non smoking and it smelt like cigarettes. Lady at first refused to give us a different room. We told her was had a week old new born with us. Gave us a different room and the beds weren’t even made. Just the blankets were folded on the edge of the bed.
- 5/5
Only disappointment was the cold pool. Service and the room were great!
- 3/5
The pool not being clean and not heated like stated our stay was pretty good. Room could of been a little cleaner as well.
- 1/5
We had a lot of trouble with hotels.com at check in when they checked us in to room 119 it stunk with blood everywhere so they switched us to room 109 and it was fine. Good front desk associates though. As we were leaving someone else was complaining about the room she was put into.
- 5/5
Property was neat and clean. Pool was clean and appealing. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
- 2/5
I didn't like the cleanliness of the room There were holes in the bedspread tv channels were very poor
- 1/5
When I went to check in there were four cop cars on the property, that should have been my first sign that my stay was going to be disappointing. Check in took over thirty minutes (I was the only person there asides from staff). The rooms were utterly disgusting. Mirrors so dirty they were unusable, the bathroom door had a giant hole at the bottom, floors covered in hair and dirt. There was a strong smell I couldn’t identify. The only entrance to the hotel is also on a very busy portion of the main road, right across from Walmart, making coming and going dangerous. I saw three accidents over my two day stay. Easily the worst hotel I’ve EVER stayed at. Go literally anywhere else in Clarksville/Hopkinsville, I’ve stayed at just about ever hotel in the area and this is the only one that left such a bad impression
- 3/5
Pool was down. One bed the bedspread was full of stains and cigarette burns
- 3/5
Floor wasn’t swept ... bed wasn’t clean... old lamp shades... fridge didn’t work
- 4/5
It waa cofortable. Staff was nice. Room was clean
- 1/5
horrible staff. very rude
- 1/5
The bathroom floor had 'sticky' spots of undetermined origin, and the yellow shower curtain had a thick, quarter sized, green blob that may have been toothpaste or a facial mask or some other pasty looking type of product. I could not tell if the sink fixtures were filthy or just worn, but I declined to inspect them further. And, if you are a coffee drinker: DO NOT USE THE INROOM COFFEE POTS WITHOUT LOOKING INSIDE!!!! You're welcome. If you are a light sleeper, this place is NOT FOR YOU! The walls are 'paper thin'. We could hear a dog in a neighboring room that I thought sounded like a woman being beaten; husband assures me it was a dog. We heard many passing conversations, and inadvertently learned of some fellow who had scored 20 lbs of deer sausage. WTG dude! Place sucks.
- 3/5
Our room was dirty. Dog hair on the bed still. Food and crumbs under the bed. Dirty towels.
- 3/5
Price was fair but had to pay a $50 deposit while using a card didn’t understand that would have made sense if I was paying in cash and went down for the breakfast an hour after starting and everything was gone only had gravy and cereal
- 1/5
Owner was not willing to accommodate me due to an error of one his employees. They changed me 3 times and didn't want nor give me my money back.
- 5/5
Indoor pool. Remodeled. There was construction next door which was a negative but not in there control
