Fairfield Inn by Marriott Clarksville

The staff was amazing. I’ve been in 5 star hotels before and I never felt as welcomed. If I’m ever back there I’ll definitely stay there.

Bathroom was the cleanest I have seen in a hotel in a long time. It was in need of updating the tub had been painted and was peeling and grout in the tile walls was coming out. The bed slept very very well, but the lighting was horrible. I cannot stand a room that you cannot see in.

Location to highway TV did not work in room. Although staff was friendly, they did not do anything to fix the problem. Hotel was dated and not very clean. High price of stay was not commensurate with the accommodations.

There's too much deferred maintenance at this property for a Marriott Fairfield Inn. Disappointed with the condition of the room.

The best part of the stay was the proximity to the interstate highway and restaurants. The breakfast was probably the worst part of the stay: watered-down orange juice, limited options of skinny bacon, polyester egg cooked to a solid gelatin mass, and a few choices of individually wrapped pastry. Dairy choices were the standard 1/2 pints of milk selections and yogurt.

The best part of the stay was the proximity to the interstate highway and restaurants. The breakfast was probably the worst part of the stay: watered-down orange juice, limited options of skinny bacon, polyester egg cooked to a solid gelatin mass, and a few choices of individually wrapped pastry. Dairy choices were the standard 1/2 pints of milk selections and yogurt.

The lobby was pretty cramped. The breakfast attendant was not really able to keep up with the demand for food and coffee at breakfast. The food was satisfactory though. The parking lot was cramped and the hotel was in a very built-up area. Traffic was terrible at times.

Staff was nice! Our door wouldn’t lock! We had to wait ovet an hour to get it fixed.

Not a very clean or nice hotel. Appeared to be short staffed. There were issues with toilets and appliances.

Location is great. Staff is really attentive. No complaints at all. Just simple, clean and small hotel with a great location. Oh the water pressure A+

Your employee at the front desk Marissa was exceptional! Answered are call about space to park a pull behind U-Haul prior to booking. Then seeing her the next morning cleaning in a friendly manner after pulling an unexpected double shift. She demonstrated incredible dedication.

Convenient location to the interstate, shopping and restaurants

They’ve updated the hotel, had a pleasant stay during the 7 days period. Had no issues really, however, we didn’t eat breakfast there but it looked packed every morning. Gym is a regular hotel gym and the pool looked clean.

The indoor pool was shut down! We went to the Country Inn but the water was too cold to swim in it - they had a good hot tub though!

Our family was going to a concert in Clarksville. We choose this hotel because of the way things looked on Hotels.com. it was subpar. The indoor pool was not open. Lock on door had to have batteries changed to work. The desk girl had to ask my husband to do it.

Lady at the front desk when we arrived was so nice and friendly. Very welcoming. Room was nice and well designed. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at hotels in awhile. There were a large number of construction workers staying at the hotel so the gal attending to breakfast was a bit slow at getting the food replenished. Overall a good experience. I’d stay here again.

Got in late, but they got us checked in quick so we could get to bed right away. Comfortable bed, great shower, and excellent breakfast before getting back on the road.

The woman in charge of the breakfast area was so nice and friendly. She was very helpful and outgoing. She made our stay a better experience.

The pool and workout facility were closed and never mentioned on website or 3rd party website. I have small kids and a workout schedule. Very disappointed and the staff was beyond rude (the girl who checked me in) everyone else was extremely pleasant

Couldnt sleep, they where renovating the first floor so it was loud at 6am sharp. So no sleep

The hotel should have been shut for the renovation, there was no for-warning that it was happening and especially to the degree that was being undertaken. It was also very expensive. Staff were nice.

The staff was fantastic! It was unfortunate that our room had ants but they gave me spray to kill them. The breakfast was just average, but well stocked.

It was expensive hotel for a run down room. Very old stuff dirty stained stuff. I didn’t sleep a wink since outside noise was all night long. Horrible stay.

We booked a double queen room with sleeper sofa and upon arrival and check in they told us they didn’t have a room like that then there was bugs in room and pee ants in the shower informed management of all nothing was done and when hotels.com called the Fairfield in lied about what took place and nothing was done about the stay. Absolutely terrible customer service!!!!!!

Main entry sliding door was broken and made noise every time it opened. Our room was above on the second floor. The facility was average.

The room was ok as far as being clean however it smelled strange. Check in was easy and the desk attendant was friendly. The same could not be said for the lady handling the breakfast bar. I heard her being rude to several guests. A gentleman got there right at 10 which is when breakfast ends however, she had just started putting stuff away and there was still a lot of food out. She snapped at him that breakfast was over and he couldn't have any. He pointed out there was still food out and he would be fast. She told him it was a lot of work. He did manage to snag a bowl (she took the plates as he was getting one) and he got a couple of things while she took something to the back.

The property is near the highway and surrounded by several hotels. I did not like the pillows provided. For a king bed, the pillows were small and limited. Otherwise everything was as expected.

The property was very dated. Bathrooms were clean, but the water pressure was a little much. Not a bad hotel, but for the price, you could do much better.

Renovation was ongoing on the 1st floor. Not something you expect.

We chose this on our trip home so our 2 year old could swim to get out energy after a long car ride. After only a moment in the pool we got out. The water touched my mouth and was off. Then we noticed the greasy film along the water as well as all the allege along the bottom. We went right up to shower off. The shower was weak, tub was flaking. Got the hide a bed out in the suit we got, there was crumbs and a disposal knife under one cushion. We were tapped out for the night, there were NO bugs so we stayed, slept and got out of dodge. Wish we would have gotten pictures but we had left our phones in the room

Hotel needs updating. Due to recent tornadoes we didn’t really have much to choose from for the night.

Very dated and worn accommodations. Disappointed, booked on line because was going to give Fairfield inn a chance. Not again. Pop ring left On table from last guest. Remote sticky, Makes me wonder how clean it really was.

Doesn’t matter though..the front desk person was fast and friendly, and the room is nice and clean. I’ve been driving for 12 hours, so it’s working.

Staff was wonderful! HOWEVER, this was the dirtiest Fairfield I’ve ever stayed in. So musty the carpet felt wet, muggy to sleep. LAYERS of dust on everything. Mold in bathroom. Hair on bedding. It was overall gross feeling. I won’t stay there again and I always pick Fairfield. Beds were fairly comfortable though. It really just needs a good deep cleaning and update. 2.5 stars.

Not up to Fairfield standards. The shower was sad. No water pressure and the knob to turn it off just kept going round and round. There was a funny smell that I think was the bath exhaust fan. The TV was old and wouldn’t change channels correctly. Overall it was clean, but just not what I expected from a Marriott property.

The room was peefect for us. It was really clean and spacious. We will visit again.

Not very nice at all

No large vehicle or trailered parking. No smile help at the desk like it was hurting her to be civil. The worst part was the smell in the room. It smelled like a pack of homeless people had just moved out after a months stay.

The only good thing I can say about the stay was that the employees that worked the front desk were very nice. There was garbage in the water fountain when we checked in and remained there the following day of our checkout, our hotel room had a very pungent odor in it and the room felt very damp. Felt like we slept on damp towels. The room was not cleaned well at all. Very disappointing stay.

Although the staff were very nice, there were a lot of little items that were not, therefore I would not stay here again. The hotel could really use a reno. The breakfast was subpar at best. The pull out sofa is not good for adults or older children; the mattress doesn't "hide" the pole or springs enough for better comfort.

Its old not at all like the picture we ended up staying at another hotel. And ate the cost.

We loved our stay the the Marriott in Clarksville! We would stay there again. The area felt safe, the hotel was clean, and the staff was friendly. Highly recommend!

There was some mold on the wall by the referigator and wallpaper was coming off.

Just a quick overnight stay. Bed was comfortable and it was clean. Overall the hotel looks dated but it all in all, the color of walls and carpet aren’t that critical.

Toilet was not cleaned from previous occupants

If this hotel is in the conditions our room was, it definitely needs help! It needs attention in fixing broken closet doors that don't even open or close, the bathroom needs to be updated, and the floors were not cleaned. Bed sheets were clean. The room didn't smell bad. Sofa bed had stains. I have pictures to share unfortunately your website doesn't let me download them.

At checking I was a little confused as their records showed I booked through Expedia and not Hotels.com other than that Stay was fine breakfast was ok.

It was neat with friendly staff. Fantastic water pressure in the shower.

For a $200 room I was disappointed by the dirty shower with moldy shower curtain and the odd smell upon entry. The beds were decent and the staff pleasant and the breakfast adequate.

The room was nice. Breakfast is waffles or heated up prepackaged frozen sandwiches.

The room didn't have body wash. The breakfast was very minimal and not very appetizing. Skipped it.

They charged more than the booked rate. Housekeeping did not come to the room during our stay. When asked about housekeeping not being there, they said they should have come. I will not recommend nor return.
