Most everything was good. Room clean, bathroom clean. However, the bath towels in room felt like sandpaper. Stiff and rough. The elevator was pathetic. Only one was working. Every time it FINALLY opened it would be packed and then had to wait even longer for it to come back to my floor. It was a mess. And used up a lot of time waiting, waiting and more waiting. But I would stay there again. Your location is great. The bar and food were very good.

We absolutely loved it we were on the 10th floor just down the hall from Jimmy's Crow's nest had some good snacks and drinks watched the sunsetfrom there. It'was perfect

Having been to Clearwater, we knew the location was excellent. We had a corner room and the balcony overlooking the marina was wonderful! The bed was comfortable and the linens were great. Lunch and dinner at Jimmy's up on the rooftop was delicious. There was only one elevator out of two working. The decor was very dated and dark; not the kind of furnishings I would expect from a place on the beach. Our room was huge but there was one chair for the two of us.

It was Awesome! From upon arrival, meeting Gina, very hospitaltable...! Great views, best views I SHOULD SAY! Rooftop is amazing, we love Eric and Tyler!!!

It was close to the beach and restaurants, bars and stores. There was hardly any water pressure to shower with.

Great views of marina and beach from rooms. Breakfast was better than expected for continental with a hot food option daily. Elevators were terrible. The door closes fast and hard so if you have families or if it is a congested time of day, you will get hit by the doors. Watched several people get smacked by the fast and hard close of the door. The pool was extremely warm. Almost like the heater was on in it all day. We couldn’t really play in it. The hotel is older and the paint and old carpet are true signs of that. The mini fridge does not have a freezer top section and the shower head barely gave out any water pressure. Took us so long to shower. Room service was great though. We had clean rooms and beds made daily.

I like the fact that we’re able to check in early. The parking is also very easy to access. We only got our room cleaned once because if you did not have the your room cleaned in the morning, then they never came back. I had to pick up our toilet paper, and use plastic bags that I got from the store for garbage. There was only one elevator working so you might have to wait longer than usual to go out or come back. Overall, we did enjoy the rooftop restaurant, and we liked the location.

This would have been a 5 star rating if not for 2 things and they were pretty big things. The hotel has only 2 elevators, yet one was out of service the entire weekend we were there. We were told they had someone coming to look at it Sat afternoon but by Monday there was nothing done or even an out of order sign anywhere. This is a smaller than average elevator and with the amount of luggage carts and beach wagons/supplies they felt even smaller and we had to wait on multiple occasions as the doors opened to a packed full elevator and had to wait for another one if not even a third or fourth try. I feel this elevator hasn't worked for a while and they just dont want to deal with it... I could be wrong. The other issue was how dirty the pool was... our last day we hit the pool as we were beached out. When we got down there around 1030am and we were the first ones there, the pool was loaded with trash floating and sitting at the bottom. There was a used bandaid, cigarette butts, candy wrappers, and just general trash (not leaves or bugs or normal stuff) in the water. A standard morning cleaning/screening could have made this a non issue. On the positive, the location is great, the views were spectacular, the room was spacious and clean, the balcony was great, the kitchen was very nice, the morning breakfast was nice and the staff was very friendly. For those reasons I will book again next time in Clearwater Beach but will hope both elevators are in svc and avoid the pool.

Staff was good. Breakfast was poor, not that many options and for the whole time there were Christian only music in the breakfast area. The room was clean but overall a little bit up. The location is good for the sunset, but I wouldn’t be here on longer stays as the area is definitely way too busy.

This hotel was great, very clean, smells good and is close to everything, I don’t have anything negative to say. The staff was very welcoming, caring and polite and breakfast was great, I really enjoyed it. I will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, you won’t regret it.

The reception

Upon arrival, the check-in process was extremely frustrating. Only one elevator was operational in what appeared to be a very busy hotel. There were approximately 14 people waiting for the elevator for over 15 minutes, with additional groups waiting on nearly every floor. Because of this, our group of four was forced to carry our luggage up four flights of stairs just to reach check-in. Once we finally got settled, the air conditioning throughout the hotel seemed inconsistent and unreliable. To make matters worse, the shower in one of our rooms did not work at all just Drips no matter what we did,  When we brought the issue to the attention of the front desk, the response from the staff member was rude and dismissive. We were told, “Well, you must not know how to use a handicap shower,” rather than receiving assistance or a proper explanation. No effort was made to resolve the issue, and we were simply handed a card and told to contact management because they were not onsite. Throughout our stay, many areas of the hotel appeared to need repairs or maintenance, and the front desk staff repeatedly blamed the issues on the “new management team.” Most disappointing of all was the complete lack of concern, professionalism, or apology for the inconvenience we experienced. We chose Pier 60

From driving in and parking the car to the time that we had to reluctantly check out, Pier House 60 Clearwater Hotel was a real find! We will definitely be back.

the bar tender at the 10th floor didnt offer my change back and kept it - gave her a 20.00 dollard bill- we bounght 1 drink, 1` beer and she kept the change- all of it...not good , almost a 4 dollar tip one one drink- and she was leaving for the night... we will not be attending THAT bar anymore

Great location but overall hotel was disappointing. Pool is next to marina was small and shaded most of the day. Not nice to hang out at. Cleaning staff used something that smelled like the cheap and cloying Fabuloso, which lingered. Bar on rooftop was crowded and not cleared frequently. Breakfast items on weekends were all cheap carbs, just ok if you wanted toast. Still ok value for price but its 3 star ok and not a high end experience that they want to portray.

It was a nice stay in a great location. The room could have been a bit cleaner but nothing that bad. The building is a bit old but still pretty nice. Breakfast was pretty good and seemed to have a different hot protein option each morning. Not too busy. We also saw a whale in the marina beside the hotel during breakfast one morning. Gina was great. The rooftop is more of a bar than restaurant but a cool view at night. There’s a $20 amenity fee per person every day that I didn’t realize prior to booking

The room was clean. The bathroom lacked toilettries like shampoo etc. and the shower had low water pressure.

The room was clean but had a lot of wear and tear. Nothing that made it unusable, but like the chair was very worn down. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived late at night and had to check out in the middle of the night and the staff were nice and friendly even though they were there late. When the pool was cold they fixed it quickly and it warmed up fairly fast. Not 100% but the staff said it would take 3-4 hours and we were only in there for about an hour and it was already warming up a lot. Breakfast staff were also so happy and friendly, we loved hearing their music in the mornings. Breakfast was good but basic, and it was nice that they rotated everything so you didn't get the exact same meal every morning. We had a slightly obstructed beach view room but considering there is a hotel across the street that's to be expected. We could see the pier and the beach right next to it, it was beautiful!

Disappointing Continental breakfast ( $40 per night “amenity fee” given at check in. For breakfast, pool, parking - whether you use them or not. Room is decent, somewhat in need of a remodel. Nice balcony.

The view is incredible from the ocean view rooms! There are multiple options for breakfast choices that will certainly suit any travelers. The pool was a perfect temperature and the bonus of being bay side located, you were able to see the boat tours coming in and out which we loved watching. Easy access to all of the sights, dining and activities in the area. Will definitely be staying again on our next trip to Clearwater!

This hotel would be considered the armpit of Clearwater Beach. Not because the rooms look dated or the ice machine doesn’t work on the 8th floor or the hairdryer stopped working in our room or the breakfast options were sad. No, those failed amenities made sense for what we paid. Unfortunately, we were bamboozled out of the nicer room we paid for and got the runaround from staff who said Expedia was to blame. One night of what felt like a dungeon, the manager showed up the next morning and we were accommodated and moved into the premier room: balcony, kitchenette, marina view.

A great location within walking distance to the beach, shopping, restaurants. Rooftop restaurant offers delicious food and great views. Time spent at the pool will have you watching boats docking. Only negative was the easy access to non hotel guests to the pool. A couple of mornings we found beer cans in the pool. Spring Breakers!!

Pier House 60 Clearwater Beach Marina Hotel is a great location across from Pier 60. We were able to walk to the Sugar Sand Festival, all the activities at the Pier, the beaches, great restaurants, etc., and it was a quick drive over to the the Dali Museum in Downtown St. Pete. The views from the rooftop bar & grill were amazing! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly & helpful, breakfast was good...we have no complaints, and would highly recommend!

Pier 60 was very clean, well maintained, staff was courteous, and friendly. Property was close to everything you could want. Beach was absolutely beautiful, and only steps away. Restaurants were perfect, and all close. Would highly recommend pier 60!

Room was clean and had the best view. We chose a balcony room. It was amazing. Breakfast was great. It was a continental breakfast. Staff were all so friendly especially Gina at the front desk. I would most definitely stay here again.

Our favorite part was the view from the balcony in our room! It is the exact picture of the marina with the view of the beach. The location is amazing and we loved Jimmy's and our favorite bartender/waitstaff was Bella. Breakfast was great, the hotel staff goes above and beyond.

Close to beach area for Clearwater beach access. the inside is very dated. Incredibly small elevators that were always water logged. Hallways and room had a touch of that old bowling alley smell. It was a place to sleep. We never tried the breakfast.

Do NOT stay here. You will be lied to REPEATEDLY. I reserved and paid for a marina view room with a kitchenette and balcony. Due to a prior issue with this same property (mind you I’ve NEVER had an issue like this with booking through a third party other than this property and we are frequent travelers). I took the extra step of contacting the hotel directly two days prior to arrival to confirm my reservation details. During multiple conversations with the front desk representative, Karla, I was explicitly informed that despite my confirmed Expedia reservation, I was only assigned a standard room because the booking was made through a third-party platform. I was then advised that I would be required to pay an additional $56.60 per night to receive the room type I had already reserved and reasonably expected. Under significant time pressure (less than 48 hours before travel), and after more than six hours spent attempting to resolve this matter with Expedia, as well as multiple calls with both Karla and General Manager Keaton, I finally agreed to pay the additional charge. On the day of arrival, during a layover, I again contacted the hotel and received direct confirmation from Karla that the upgraded room would be ready upon check-in. We arrived and it was a standard room. Very misleading and inaccurate with truthful communication to get you onsite and have no other options. Expedia did nothing to assist. Side note: Gina was amazing and truly cares about customers!!!!!

The property is a little outdated, but the room was pretty nice. A few things needed to be replaced, repaired, or wiped down. All in all, it's a nice place. My favorite employee was the gentleman that works the breakfast area. He was quiet at first, but it didn't take him long to come around. I think it helped that I was singing along with the music that he was playing. I'm grateful for a man of God.

Perfect location in Clearwater Beach, walking distance to everything! Gym was small, and breakfast was very basic considering the quality of the hotel. Pool is also on the wrong side of the building and doesn’t get very much sun. Rooftop bar is awesome and views from the room balcony are stunning. This is a great place to stay and we will be back!

The rooms are cleaned everyday but how clean they are depends on the staff cleaning them. Water pressure was low when taking a shower. There is parking for the guests that stay at the hotel but they also sell parking spots to outside individuals so you may not have a parking spot when you come back to the hotel. The breakfasts are good and plenty of food to choose from. The front desk is nice with a I don’t know or care attitude. The pool and gym are adequate.

We only stayed for one night,. We arrived late and check in was very pleasant and efficient. But we checked out and later that day I realized I left medication in the room refrigerator. I called and was told I could come back and they would let me check the room. Finding it gone, I informed the lady at the front desk who was extremely helpful. She proceeded to invite to the housekeeping but unfortunately they told me it could not be found. Ten minutes later I received a call from this lady who told me they found my medication! I was so grateful and happy. Kudos to the staff and to this lady at the front desk, I only wish I had her name! Thank you so much!

The location of the hotel was perfect! The hotel itself was a little outdated but it was clean and suited our purpose to just have a good location to sleep at.

Great hotel as far as location and cleanliness but they charge a resort fee of &40 a day. We got there at 6:00 raining so no pool and rooftop bar was closed. So this is the only negative about paying a &40 for nothing.

Courteous staff

Front desk staff were so friendly and courteous. We inquired about the possibility of early check in and they were glad to accommodate us. The room was clean, comfortable with an amazing view of the pier. The breakfast staff were very nice and personable. We enjoyed the rooftop bar but decided to enjoy the sunset from the pier. So many great restaurant options within walking distance made it difficult to choose ! The location is perfect and the area has so much to see.

The hotel staff were awesome and the room was nice. The rooftop was loud until 2am and the traffic outside was the same, especially on the weekends. I would have loved to move to another room in the back of the hotel but we chose the ocean view. So, if you treasure your sleep, forget the view!

This was our second stay at Pier House 60 Clearwater in the past 3 years; we travel from Virginia to Daytona Race in February and after the race make the trip to Clearwater to stay for week of fun and activities. Pier House 60 is one of the finest hotels in that area, it's walking distance from so many activities and eateries. We love this since we are in our 70's. The Crow's Nest restaurant/Bar on top is fun and beautiful place to watch sun go down over the ocean. We highly recommend this hotel and will be back every year.

View, a bit outdated but clean

all the safe in the room is bolted to the floor which didn’t work is there wouldn’t open or wouldn’t lock they were in the process of changing all the door locks so the elevators you needed a card to get up to the 6/7 eighth ninth floor nobody told anybody about that I guess they just figured you’d figure it out eventually and it was OK at best that’s it

Parking at the hotel is good but you do pay of course. Room was very big and well equiped comfy bed. However the sheets on the bed were awful not soft sheets as i would have expected, the room decor was very dated and dull, the windows didn't look like they had been cleaned in the entire hotel for years filthy dirty. Breakfast was poor. And only had cheap plastic knives and forks, and polystyrene plates !! Why in this day and age are you not using proper cutlery and crockery. ( save the planet)

The hotel was great for the price compared to other hotels for the weekend we were there. That earned them the extra star or it would have just been 3*. Our Uber driver didn’t know where to drop us off and we didn’t know we had to pull into the parking garage to do it. No signs to tell us. He pulled along the sidewalk to drop us. Resort fees are high. We used the pool towels to take to the beach but they were small and thin. Other than that we got nothing out of the fees we paid. The pool is in the shade so we didn’t try it. The room decor seems dated for a beach hotel. Very early 2000s with the burgundy and gold and dark furniture. We’ve stayed at many hotels in CB, Fl and most hard light and beachy themed. Not a deal breaker, but something I thought was odd. Our shower head was tiny and not a heavy stream! And we only had barely warm water (not hot despite turning all the way up) which was disappointing on those cold beach days. Our room keys were very sensitive. After taking extra care to follow their directions and not put next to phones and other credit cards we still had to have our keys redone several times.

Excellent facility very well kept. Friendly, efficient staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast.

Check in clerk kept my license and didn't say anything ever. Keys never worked, switched them out multiple times and had trouble on every use. Room was clean and good size though.

Super nice for a weekend getaway. a few things dated but not bad. Clean room and smelled good. Bed was not comfortable. But the rooftop bar made this place a hit.

The room was a bit rough with it showing some wear and tear on all the wood surfaces. The room was a bit musty. Our entry light was burned out and there was a coffee k-cup in the holder that was previously used. We did worry about the security as the elevator could open up to any floor by anyone. The key to access certain floors didn't work so you could be anyone off the street and take the elevator up to the guest floor. That's scary considering there is a bar on the roof that anyone can access. We might stay again because the price was right for it being an easy place to sleep, but also close to the beach.

Hotel was nice. Breakfast was a bit disappointing. Not a lot of choices. Had several issues with our key cards and had to visit the lobby several times due to them not working correctly. Hotel is clean, beds were very comfortable. Location was great.

The room was clean, they cleaned every day, the breakfast was good, and plentiful. Jimmy's crows nest was the greatest!! the staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was nice, clean. The key didn't work and the shampoo and conditioner were of poor quality.

My room was looking at the beach , hotel is in great location. Breakfast and parking is included with property fees daily. There is NO beach chairs included at the beach .

Great location. Rooms are a bit outdated but are in line with the price for the location.

The staff was very nice very friendly. The location was great! The building itself was very old and worn. The door card readers didn’t work correctly and we had to be moved once, and had keys replaced a few times. The pool area was covered in bird crap and one day a dead fish was in the pool. The rooftop bar was really nice and the food was good. Overall i wouldn’t stay again.

Nice staff and convenience

Our room faced both the beach and the marina. The only downside was you cannot see the sunset from the rooftop grill like they claim. The inside of the curtain was pretty gross and highly visible when coming in from the balcony. We contacted the front desk and they said they would be changing it out.

Again, there were no signs that were really evident. There was a poor one that said check in with an arrow, but it didn’t say where the parking lot garage was essentially empty. We ended up leaving because it wasn’t welcoming at all.

Booked through Expedia and was given a total price for our stay. At check in we were charged $160 amenities fee. A complete surprise. We needed to extend our check out by 3 1/2 hours. We were charged an extra $50 . The floor we were assigned to during our stay had almost all the rooms except ours being taken apart and deep cleaned. We were not sure why. There was equipment everywhere that we had to step over. Based on all the issues thet we had to deal with you would have thought the hotel would have a least given us a break on the extra 3 1/2 hours late check out and the $40 a day amenities fee. This was our 3rd stay and Pier 60 Hotel. We will not be staying there again.

The king corner suite was super clean, spacious, and had lovely views of the beach, as well as the balcony overlooking the marina. Walking distance to the beach, places to eat, and shops. Parking was very convenient. Enjoyed the rooftop bar/ restaurant with sunset views. Staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

Spacious clean room with an excellent view

Our room was much bigger and had many more windows overlooking the water than we’d expected so we were thrilled. We enjoyed the sunset on the roof both nights. The room was very clean. Staff was extra lovely. Parking was easy. The Black Friday special rate was excellent. We loved our stay!! Thank you!

The breakfast each morning was simple but really pretty good. It's a super convenient location and just a short walk to the beach. The other staff that we encountered were very friendly. We would stay here again.

Great location- was the main reason I chose this hotel. Friendly staff during check in although several families / guest were checking in at the same time. Free breakfast was just enough to get our morning started. We ate dinner at the roof top restaurant, decent choices and fair pricing.

most of this hotel is no longer beach front,due to new hotels being built in front of it and behind the breakfast was very basic and beware you will be charged resort fees and tourist fees on top of your stay

i could not watch TV for two days no matter what did not work .the water in the shower pressure was so low ridiculous for what i paid would never come back.

Sharon at the front desk was very helpful with some things we were trying to organize while on a quick escape without it using too much of our vacation time. She was awesome and very helpful to accomplish what we needed while helping us maximize our beach time.

Rooms seemed to need updating. The carpets felt dirty. The bathrooms were in need of some updating. Staff were polite and helpful. The partial gulf view was OK. We have stayed at Pier House 60 for about 5-6 years about this time of year. We were not as impressed as in the past.

Love the location. We had a balcony room which overlooked the harbor and we could also see the beach and Pier 60. The only complaint I had was their breakfast didn’t offer very many food choices. Other than that it was great.

All the staff were great. From the start when we had an issue with the bathroom in the room they were quick to come and fix. They helped to make my daughter birthday weekend fantastic.

When I arrived to check in, my reservation was not found through a 3rd party. It took 30 mins to correct the problem. I was offered an upgrade room. The beds were too hard as well as the pillows. The breakfast was minimal for selections. The hotel isnt ocean front, its across the street. The area is busy and good selection of restaurants.

This is the best spot in the area, location wise. Don’t expect much from the rooms. Pretty worn and broken down. Beds are uncomfortable. Really gives a motel vibe. Definitely needs to be renovated. The location for pier 60 access is unmatched. That is the benefit. They also have a restaurant on the rooftop. Food is nothing special but the view is great

Pier 60 has everything you need to enjoy Clearwater. Many good restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The staff were helpful and the parking on site is worth it.

The room was fine, close proximity to the beach, restaurants and pier. Not the most upscale but it will get the job done of somewhere to sleep, shower & cool off. Breakfast spread was nice & staff was consistently restocking and wiping tables when others left. Spray bottle of cleaner was left under the vanity in our bathroom. No luggage carts available upon arrival in parking garage to unload our stuff. The pool area is nice, lots of loungers to use.

The property is very clean, has a nice rooftop bar, and the beds is comfortable the only thing that sucks is the rooms don't have a freezer and the key card didn't really work had to put it in the door 10 or more times to get it open.

Pier 60 had ocean views, walking distance, about a block from visible beach. Clean and quiet. The breakfast however was not good. Low quality food, gravy was watered down, hot food not appealing, and fruit didnt look nice. Otherwise a great place to stay. We would do it again.

Rooms are big, clean and comfortable but in need of some modernisation. The A/C was a bit temperamental and quite noisy at night and the showers had very little pressure. The staff at the hotel were all nice and friendly and the breakfast room had lovely views of the harbour.

Only issues I had was the not water view i asked for,very loud street outside our room, couldn't find any football games on TV, construction at the Marina next door,no sidewalks to use outside the hotel going towards the pier, really old water saver shower head,shower door handles were loose, toilet seat was loose, had to have my keys done multiple times, very convenient location, free breakfast everyday, convenient parking for guests,not pet friendly, being in the hospitality industry for over 25 years, hotel maintenance, i nit pick rooms wherever I go, definitely need to have maintenance go through rooms touching everything in rooms, room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, room was roomy ,should have gotten a balcony unit, decent pricing for the weekend visit, rooftop bar was great and views were amazing at sunset,although it rained on and off,we made the best of it.

We had a wonderful quick weekend stay. The hotel is beautiful and so clean. The rooftop bar was so much fun, we had to go twice. Our room was fantastic and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect to explore the beach and surrounding area. All of the staff were amazing. Gina at the front desk was the best part of our stay. We will definitely be back.

Jimmy’s was fun! AC in the room was really noisy. No AC at all in the breakfast area every morning yet they turned it on for night shift in the lobby everyday. 80*+ The breakfast food was a C- C’mon you can do better than that!

The 10th floor was AMAZING! Right next to rooftop bar and grill, the staff was fantastic and the rooms were very clean. The views were amazing, especially at sunset. Walking distance to everything - the beach, restaurants, the pier, and more! The staff was kind and funny and I would absolutely stay here again in the future.

False advertising! Run away! Tried to charge a $37 fee that was not disclosed. When we asked what it was for - she replied - 'parking, breakfast and beach towels'. DESPITE the booking including 'free breakfast' and we didn't have a car. The lady at the front desk said 'well, it's in the fine print and 'free breakfast' doesn't mean free, it means it is included in the fee.

Close to everything. Not many options for breakfast offered at the hotel. During check in we had no idea we received free passes to a water park. I noticed it when I was looking up something about the hotel on the website. Hotel was quiet, housekeeping came everyday. A/C worked great. Parking convenient. Never had trouble finding a spot. I’ve read reviews that the elevators are slow but we had no issues at all.

Hotel was very very clean. I have been in 5 stars hotels and was not as clean as this one. Staff very nice & they let us check in way earlier than check in time. Location is great with very nice views. Breakfast was okay. All the basic. I think they should invest in better coffee though. Swimming pool was okay.

Great stay!

This place is literally right in the middle of everything. You could either walk or take a short Uber ride. Having the amazing restaurant upstairs with bar, was a beautiful place to relax, eat and have a few drinks.

Nice property. The check out was a bit challenging. There was one person at the desk and a line with people checking in and out. The Woman at the desk was trying but stressing to get done. My wife went to get a glass of water in the breakfast area and the same one person at the desk said, it’s closed and added water is 3 dollars at the desk here. Maybe there could be more help for checking out.

First time staying there for 7 days. In the middle of everything to do. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with our needs. I've read some of the complaints about sand in the elevator rugs.... It's a Beach !!! The key cards took alittle to get used to and would deactivate around cellphones or other electrical devices. Once you know to keep them separate, they work just fine. Our view was great being on the 9th floor. We were even right under Jimmy's Crows Nest and with the loud music, it wasn't much of a bother, but that could be just us tho. We will be returning in the near future.

Loved it! We had a great time. Beach, food, watched fireworks, shopped. Relaxed and really had fun. Restaurant food was not good any where around, but we ate it anyway and it filled our stomachs so it was all good.

Room was ok. Key cards are absolutely trash. Everyone standing in the halls fighting their keys the whole time. You go back to the lobby and they act like you are stupid. They claim it’s your fault and you either don’t do it right or you are deactivating your own key by putting it in your pocket.

The hotel is dated but exactly as pictured. Weve stayed here 3 out of last 4 years and have had no issues except for the breakfast. The eggs taste like plastic. The premade waffles are dry. Sausage is horrible. Cereal selection bad unless you like corn flakes every day. There 8 mornings and saw a kid with fruit loops but that was only box they had i guess. Waffles they had on 8th morning werent to bad though. Overall though hotel is clean and cheaper than across street
