Awesome stay!

Very nice stay, great pool and beautiful lobby and rooms. Great prox to beach.

Very clean and super quiet. Pool was clean and beach was convenient. Cabana only a $10 up charge from the free umbrella and chairs. Ocean Hai restaurant was fantastic and the gulf front view balcony was beautiful at sunset.

The hotel is central to the strip for tons of shopping and dining. You won’t need a car unless you want one. The hotel is clean and the staff is super friendly!

I was also celebrating a milestone birthday during this trip and noted it with the hotel in advance. While I understand upgrades are never guaranteed, it was disappointing that no effort was made to acknowledge the occasion in any way. Even a small gesture would have gone a long way toward making the stay feel special. The pool area was another major disappointment. It was consistently overcrowded, loud, and chaotic, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the amenities. We were unable to use the pool during our stay because of the excessive crowds and disruptive behavior. Additionally, the overall atmosphere around the property did not feel welcoming or relaxing. There were many guests and visitors behaving in a loud and inconsiderate manner, which detracted from what should have been an enjoyable vacation experience. Between the delayed room availability, lack of accommodation from staff, overcrowded amenities, and complete lack of acknowledgment of a special occasion, this stay fell well short of expectations. Also without saying too much do expect “upscale” people staying here. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again.

The stay was more than we could have hoped for. On arrival we were greeted by the front desk, given our room wristbands, and a glass of prosecco. The room was clean and with a perfect view of the ocean. We were given a discount card that would accrue percentage at all 3 of the restaurants on site. The pool was clean. I loved how they had the one restaurant serving both at the pool and down on the beach, but keep in mind it is a dry beach so no alcohol. I highly suggest the Clearwater Sunset at Dock’s. Ocean Hai has an amazing breakfast buffet, and if you enjoy birds, I suggest sitting outside. Their dinner menu is out of this world. The sushi melts in your mouth, and the grouper was cooked to perfection. Saturday and Sunday nights they have movies down at the pool being projected onto the side of the building. The amenities were amazing the staff was so pleasant and polite. The only complaint I could have was the hot tub wasn’t hot for one day, but they fixed it as soon as it was brought to their attention.

Beautiful hotel. Great location and friendly staff. Hot tub got to be a little questionable with the cleanliness of it however that’s where the kids really love to hangout and I’m sure the sand finds its way! Love the outdoor movies and pool activities. HUGE benefit was the pool being open late, our kids loved swimming after dinner for a couple hours.

The distance to the beach, walking distance to many restaurants. Nice comfortable room, and the balcony was a nice addition. Do away with the $40 dollar a day parking fee.

I love how it was in the heart of everything. No car needed everything is right there. The shower head had green mold on it and water pressure was soft.

Wonderful stay! Would go back

The property was well maintained. The staff (including valet) was very friendly and helpful, often times going above and beyond. The pool was a little small but we had no issues even on a full weekend. We had a room with a king and bunk beds (for the kids) w/ a Gulf view and even that was pretty. We had nice views to the left and right side (beach and gulf) of the property. Crossing the street to the beach was easy. Access to towels was convenient. Access to an umbrella and chairs on the beach was easy as well, but not 100% free as you still have to leave a tip.

Great location just steps from the beach. Free chairs (2) and an umbrella on the beach made it comfortable to stay out all day. Staff from the hotel rounded often to see if we needed anything. Highly recommend this hotel and will return on our next Clearwater beach trip.

The location is EXCELLENT. It is directly across the street from the beach with easy crossing. It is right next door to Pier 60 with covered playground and some rides. It is about 2 blocks from a Main Street with several restaurants, pizza, ice cream and Starbucks. If you walk toward the Hyatt next door there is a Surf Style that has a small grocery store inside. About a block away is the Causeway that houses all the tour boats. I can’t imagine why we would have needed a car. Nice pool, as well. We couldn’t have asked for more for our granddaughter’s first trip to the beach

Prices are outrageous

No parking, you’re required to use the valet service which is $40 per day. Lots of unexpected/hidden fees. No security or lifeguards on site, there was an active shooter event in front of the property and a child drowned in the pool. Very traumatizing stay for my kids.

We had an great experience during our stay. The hotel staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating, helping us with an early check-in and ensuring everything went smoothly from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a bed that made it easy to relax after a long day. The location was another major advantage—the beach was just steps away, making it incredibly convenient to enjoy the sand, water, and beautiful views without having to travel far. Overall, it was the perfect combination of comfort, service, and location, and we would gladly stay here again.

The only improvement we’d recommend is the ability to park ourselves. It’s $40 per night and we only used our vehicle when we check in/out, so $240.00 to basically just park. The

The furniture in the lobby was dirty and in need of an upgrade. The food served at the pool and during breakfast was of poor quality. Based on this experience, I will not be returning next year.

At first, they tried to put us in a room that was facing a parking garage when I had paid for a golf view king-size bed. Thank goodness I had my reservation pulled up on my phone. They said I requested and accessible room, but that was not true. When they finally gave me my room, I was extremely happy. It’s a beautiful place.

We had very early flight and I ask the hotel if they could have our room ready earlier. They did not promise anything but when we arrived our room was ready and on the top, it was upgraded to the full Gulf view. The hotel is perfectly situated in the clearwater beach are with easy access to the beach, attractions and other hotels. It also provides free beach umbrella and two lounge chairs. We are definitely planning to go again next year.

Short walk to the beach across the street. Cafe in the Lobby was handy with nice Staff. The Valet Parking Staff were also very friendly and efficient. Shower was spacious and nice. Lovely sunset views. Paid premium for Gulf View room but was on lower floor right above LOUD road between the hotel and the beach including people cruising with loud mufflers and music (I guess cruising around and around is the "thing to do" in Clearwater?). Had to keep balcony door closed. The couch was filthy and stained - wouldn't dream of sitting on it. Shared a balcony with smokers and the hottub was full of little kids screaming and jumping. In addition to daily resort fees, daily parking fees, service upcharges, and room service fees (even if ordering at and eating in the restaurant or bar) there was a constant barrage of reminders, signs, and requests to tip more more more. It got old fast. For transparency, I would suggest you pay a livable wage and include all mandatory upcharges in the price of the room or service.

Second time visiting, everything is a 5 star about this place. The only counter I have which I wrote the last time I was here and still hadn’t been corrected is that the pool resort activities feel like a nuisance to the staff. No matter what time 11am, 1pm, 3pm whenever I showed up to the activity suppose it was 3:05pm they had forgotten about the activity and seemed annoyed I was asking about it. Please don’t charge the resort fee if you won’t actually hold up to your word about the resort activities. They’d still bring it out 10min late and then others would start & enjoy the activities once they were out after I had requested them. Other than that everything was amazing and I will still come back. Please just fix that one small thing

My experience at this hotel was fantastic! Well worth the price! View from balcony wonderful. Everyone I encountered (all staff) extremely polite and accommodating. Food was great (even though a bit pricey). Very clean everywhere, even the public restrooms. Well maintained hotel. Heated pool and concierge service pool side phenomenal. Definitely spoiled me as to what to expect on my next vacation.

This property was so beautiful from the inside/out. the pool was filled with great staff who would come & let you order food and drinks. they also had a fun dj on saturday which made the enviroment so fun! this hotel is very close to basically everything we didn’t rent a car and we walked basically everywhere. the staff were very helpful and would make sure our needs were met. we were able to get into our room before 4 o clock which was super convenient. overall would recommend this hotel over and over again. i felt like i was truly staying in a resort. it was beautiful!

Wonderful staff and great location.

Great location and very walkable area! Our room had an amazing balcony view of the Gulf. The staff was kind and courteous, and the hotel was extremely clean. The beach is beautiful and also just a short walk to the pier for fishing and other activities. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed that they were no extra perks for the price i had paid for my week stay at the resort. Other competitions provide afternoon snacks and beverages and thought they would have too built they did not.

Spent a beautiful 4 days at the Wyndham with my wife and couldn't of been happier. The staff was so gracious and helpful, the room was very clean and cleaned daily, spent our days going from the beach which is a very short walk across the street to the pool and it was perfect.

Everything was fantastic. From an extremely clean room, to an awesome breakfast, to an amazing staff. Could not ask for anything better for our anniversary getaway.

A few small hiccups that were definitely annoying but still doesn’t affect my overall feelings: the property lost power on our last day and the elevators were out, so we did have to take the stairs a few times (we were on the 9th floor!); the poolside service is a bit slow but i only saw one or two servers a day so I’m not sure if it was a staffing issue; and housekeeping did not return after asking them to come back when we left the room one day during our stay. One thing to note for the property: your hotel key card comes on a wristband and the wristband is not sizable. It’d be nice for Wyndham to have a bigger selection of wrist bands!

This is our second time staying here. We weren't thrilled with the room we were given. It was on 1 of only 2 floors that had rooms in this area, and the view was terrible. There was also someone in a room nearby who was smoking weed, and every time we went on our balcony, we smelled it. The food, unfortunately, is weak at the hotel. For breakfast, it's good, but we won't want to eat there for dinner as we don't like the food and the menu. We ate at the bar one night, and the salads weren't good and had brown all over them. The hotel and pool area are beautiful and we will miss it, but unfortunately not going back.

The resort was great but it was busy. The staff at the bar/restaurant in the lobby could have been a bit more pleasant. It felt like we were annoying them. Food was solid and well done all around. Staff at the front desk were professional and kind. Only gripe about the room was the barn style door to the bathroom was noisy and the shower water pressure was very light. I know these are slightly nit picky, but thought it was worth mentioning. I would definitely stay there again. 8/10

Phenomenal hotel in a phenomenal location! The location across from the beach is ideal. The restaurants in the hotel are fantastic, and there are countless other great food options within a 10 minute walk. Absolutely loved this hotel and would stay there again without a doubt.

This is our second time staying here and we are already counting down the days to come back! It feels like pure luxury there! Wonderful and friendly staff, the perfect location to enjoy all activities and the views are the best. We cannot say enough about how much we love this hotel!

For a two-night stay, I ended up with an additional $625 in charges pending/posted beyond what was expected. The property itself was nice, but the lack of transparency and inconsistent explanations regarding the charges really took away from the experience.

They truly went above and beyond to make all the moms feel special and taken care of. From the beautiful property to the great energy and outstanding customer service, the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Thank you to the whole team for making our Mother’s Day celebration so enjoyable and unforgettable. We will definitely be back!

They lost the laundry we sent down. It took two days to get back a pair of pants and was charged 25.00. A lot of staff cleaning rooms dominately spoke Spanish. Unsure if they understood our requests at times Room service menu needs more items to offer

Pool to crowded, food prices outrageous

This hotel is in the perfect location. The beach is so close and umbrellas and chaise lounges are set up daily for your use. If you want the convenience of the pool, the ocean view is still amazing. Everything is walkable from this hotel with plenty of restaurants, bars and shopping in both directions. I would recommend it 100%.

We originally booked at another hotel, it after reading poor reviews, we jumped on Expedia and changed ti the Wyndam Grand. When we arrived we were told that our room had been upgraded ti a suite - the presidential suite. We totally thought they were kidding. That weren’t!!! Our room had 2 floors, 3 living rooms, a full kitchen, a wet bar, dining room, 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, an ELEVATOR, 3 floor length balconies, and spectacular oven views everywhere. The room was Epic! The hotel staff treated us like VIPs. I’ve never had a better experience. Wyndam has won a customer for life! I can’t thank them enough for the smile that never left my child’s face!

Definitely returning. Amazing hospitality from the moment you drive up. Food choices could be better at the poolside bar, while food at ocean hai was very yummy, just expensive. all very worth it. Walking distance to pier 60 and many boat tours. Private beach chairs are such a nice perk with reasonable, optional, upgrades. We had the best time.

I would give the hotel a 3.5. In general it’s nice but there’s a few issues. Chairs at the main restaurant on the patio are disgustingly filthy. Room was nice but needed a bit of updating. It was clean and comfortable though. The pool is a busy cluster of chairs and there’s nothing relaxing about it. The location is very good. With the review ratings, I honestly expected it to be better. It’s not bad and I would go back in a pinch but only if Opal Sands was full.

Had a great time at the hotel! But would like to give a shout out to the poolside server Jill. we sat at the pool for hours and she was there everytime we needed something. She was awesome!

There was confusion over room charges. I heard the policy was charging a daily fee each day. This created issues with my bank who thought it was fraud and kept alerting me. Most hotels charge the overall room charge when you check in and incidentals at the end. Perhaps go to that. Otherwise very nice hotel with helpful staff and great amenities.

A great find! The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. Check in was quick and easy. Everyone at the front desk is lovely and helpful. I was able to get an early check in. My room was perfect. The hotel is across the street from the beach. The pool is a decent size. Shout out to William for his lovely disposition so early in the morning, and for setting up my chair. The restaurants at the hotel are good. I will definitely be back.

The property was so nice. The pool area is really nice. It’s in a great location for walking to town. It’s also a great location to walk to restaurants. The rooms were large. I felt like it was larger than some Marriott rooms.

Toilet not flushing, sink now draining, they gave a room that we didnt order, the service at poolside was terrible.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms clean and comfortable but bathroom and shower floors very slippery. The outdoor pool was great - beautiful views with beach and sunsets worth staying to see. Crowded so you have to get there early. Good bar service at the pool but menu could use much more variety. It would have been more convenient to have beach towel service on the beach. Had to pick up towels at pool first and didn’t know so we had to come all the way back to get them - notice would have been helpful. When checking out the car valet did not help us load suitcases and items in trunk of car. Just stood there and watched but took a tip. We should have skipped it. Otherwise nice place to stay.

The hotel is steps away from the beach, with clean rooms, and helpful staff. Valet staff are fast. You can request your vehicle via QR code and receive real-time alerts until the time your car is ready. The main restaurant connected to the lobby features a breakfast buffet in the morning which includes a good omelet station. The same restaurant features strictly an Asian fusion theme for dinner. In my opinion, since it is the main restaurant on site, it should offer a few non-Asian entrée options, or even alternate themes throughout the week. The rooms are a little pricey, but this attracts the best clientele. I can confidently say that the positives heavily outweigh the negatives, and that the hotel is the best hotel in Clearwater Beach.

Wyndham Clearwater Beach was a mixed experience. The location is great—right across from the beach with beautiful views—and the bed was very comfortable. Ocean Hai was a standout and definitely worth visiting. However, there were several downsides. The staff didn’t feel particularly friendly or welcoming. My room had a noticeable odor at check-in, and while they addressed it, someone came at 8:30 PM after I was already in bed to spray deodorizer, which wasn’t ideal. Fees add up quickly with parking and the resort charge, and the included beach umbrella isn’t much of a perk since it’s comparable to renting directly and doesn’t include a cabana. Food on the property was disappointing—room service tasted like low-quality, microwaved food (runny quesadilla with nacho cheese, bland potstickers), and a veggie egg wrap from the coffee bar was inedible (though they did replace it with yogurt). Coffee was good, but overall food quality was poor, and gratuity is automatically added at a high rate. Great views and location, but service, fees, and food quality would make me think twice about staying again.

The pool was awesome....very relaxing other than the pool staff will open up your seating if you haven't been present for greater than 30 minutes. I did have to tell the staff that we were in the pool and to not take our chairs. Other than that it was great. If you meet a pool staff named Sandy, she is a gem! We loved her and her service. The rooms were spacious. The beach is close, although you do have to cross a road to get to the beach, which was a bit deceiving from the pictures. It was to safe cross. Lots of great restaurants! The Badfins restaurant had an amazing chicken sandwich. Beautiful views. Take a Dolphin cruise. It was great! Jimmy's on the roof top bar had a amazing view! Food was ok. The Salty Crab had amazing food - especially the EZ peel shrimp in the garlic butter!! Clearwater has so much to offer....we love coming to this area!

We've stayed here two years in a row and have now had another great experience. Very clean, great amenities, friendly staff and unmatched location. Pool area does get very crowded during the day, but we just go to the beach instead! Family friendly, great for couples (us) and every trip in between. Will be back next year!

Very crowded during spring break - I guess to be expected. Hotel is lovely but for what you’re paying, I’d expect more in terms of amenities. Pool isn’t very large and seating can be difficult. It’s in the center of everything which some would consider a plus.

The grounds were so clean and inviting. They had activities for all ages. All of the restaurants on site and around the resort were incredible. It is a slice of heaven and we will be back! Thank you Evan at guest services/check in, Bianca who gave me a wonderful massage in the spa and Dawn who took her time with my manicure. Amazing service.

Overall a very nice place to stay, good location only ding I have is the staff trying to talk you into joining their version of a time share, I paid to be on vacation not to be bothered with sales pitches

Staff were wonderful. Hotel was clean and housekeeping was amazing and friendly. Spring break week was crazy busy with young kids so it wasn’t very relaxing or quiet. Not the property’s fault but we wouldn’t say there that week again. Pool was very clean but you have to reserve chairs by 7am or they would all be taken. Property is perfect location to walk to all area activities and beach right across the street. I would definitely come back just not spring break week.

The beds were supposed to be queen size, but were double, however, the view was great. The room was warm at night and would not decrease in temperature even though it was set at cooler temps, which made it hot sleeping. All the staff were phenomenal! There is NO self parking and the rate for valet was $40 a night. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. So, overall, there was good and bad.

The hotel was really great. The service and staff were really helpful and courteous. The last day, housekeeping did not come to clean the room. The heated pool was a bit cold and would have preferred it to be warmer. Aside from that, it was a great resort. I would stay here again. It is family friendly and my kids loved it.

Great place to vacation

Amazing hotel - great location, close to lots of restaurants and bars, and it's right across the street from the beach. We had the intercoastal view room and enjoyed views of beautiful sunrises every morning. The breakfast buffet was delicious, lots of variety and great service - so glad we booked that through Expedia! We also really enjoyed the OceanHai restaurant onsite - the short ribs and sushi were phenomenal! Really great staff too - Evan was the best! Definitely recommend this hotel and will be back! :)

The room was modern, spotless, and very well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent — they even serviced our room twice a day. Since we were traveling with a toddler, we could simply text housekeeping for additional help, and they were always responsive. When we mentioned that we were traveling with a 2-year-old, the hotel also provided a microwave at no extra charge, which was incredibly helpful for warming up food and bottles. The location is fantastic, just steps from the beach, and the pool area was great as well. If you are visiting in the winter, I recommend going to the pool after 1 PM. The buildings are positioned north and south, so the sun does not fully reach the pool until around 2 PM. Once it does, the water warms up nicely, and swimming is absolutely possible even in December on warmer days. We would definitely return and would happily stay here again.

Beautiful rooms, convenient location close to beach, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was good although some days had long wait times for a table (make reservations or get carryout option). Didn’t make it to the pool (spots in the aun were always taken, went in December). No refunds on pre-paid breakfast vouchers. We left before restaurant opened & couldn’t use the voucher.

Amazing place to stay with family

Overall, a very nice resort with a great location. Easily walkable to both ends of the island. The only drawback about the pool was that with the angle of the sun in December, there is a short period of time at the end of the day where there is direct sunlight, so it could be a little chilly. FYI the property seems very family friendly, so there are a lot of little kids running around.

What a location!!! Having to valet your car away was no big deal as the area is super walkable. The hotel is beachfront and does supply preset chairs and umbrellas. Hotel is gorgeous. Good service in the pool and lobby is affordable and amazing. What a great stay.

Bar staff was excellent too. I needed some change and it was provided immediately. Keep up the great work. I would definitely recommend and come back to stay.

Everything!! The hotel rooms, beach, restaurant, everything was beautiful. The restaurant had the best sushi we ever had. We have been eating sushi for 40 years. This was insanely delicious!! All of the staff were sweet & so inviting. The parking attendants were on top of their game. Nice kids. Right there at our service. We will definitely come back here again ❤️

Also, I did not get my welcome cocktail or cookies which might sound silly, but it’s part of what you say is included in the fee, but then when you don’t get it, it’s a little disappointing. Then we were tacked on with a parking fee that we did not know about it. And after we booked, it was book 3 then get one night free. It would’ve been nice to know this when we were originally booking. Also, it turns out they were perks for Florida residence. We did not know about. It would be nice if those were a little more obvious in the booking. I did book through hotels.com and was told free cancellation within 24 hours prior to arrival. And that was not the case. So I ended up spending $500 unnecessarily.

The pool was very crowded. Drinks at the pool took 40 minutes. Rooms were nice but lots of wear and tear. Everything was VERY expensive ($7 for a granola bar?!?!).

They said that they had our reservation, but didn't have the room we had reserved. Ever see the $einfeld episode where they didn't have the rental car that he had reserved? Substitute "room" for "car" and it was exactly the same situation. Why take reservations if you don't hold the room?

We booked a deluxe intercoastal view room which shows a balcony online but at check-in we were told that our room did not have a balcony and to get one we would have to upgrade for $35. We did upgrade but felt that we were entitled to a balcony with the room we had booked originally.

This hotel checked boxes I didn't know existed. They really took the time and put in the effort to make the small things of a vacation go right so we can enjoy the big picture. If that makes sense to you, this is the perfect place for you. If that doesn't make sense, there are plenty of other much cheaper places around.

The staff is kind,the only thing that was bothering me was valet parking, one guy even asked me for tips for bringing my vehicle,and 'M ok with giving tips I understand how it works, but sometimes i needed my vehicle 2-3 times per day

The beach view from the 14th floor was fantastic!

Loved my view of both the Gulf and the pool from my balcony. The front desk personnel were pleasant and very helpful with recommendations of places to eat breakfast and lunch. The hotel was well maintained and very clean. Daily activities at the pool were varied and appropriate for multiple age levels. Pool attendants and wait staff at the pool bar were pleasant and attentive. I felt pampered and cared for by all staff. I loved having the wrist band instead of a key card. Very convenient!!

Nice all around stay

All acces from the hotel, if you dont have a car, you can walk anywhere since the hotel is located where all action happens in clearwater. If you cone by car the parking is $40 per night and is valet parking so if you have the money for that each night is convenient if not then dont drive because parking in cleareater can be a nightmare for long hours. Also, the staff super helpfull, they gave us late check out and facilities inside hotel are great.. breakfast is like $30 per person is a buffet in a sit down place and also you can dine there too. In general i would stay in this one again without question.

Facility is wonderful, and beach access with chairs/umbrella provided was convenient. Bring your wallet though, still can't get over the $13.00 ice cream sandwich at the pool. It was a typical school-lunch type ice cream sandwich, nothing special, probably worth about 50 cents. And the extra $75.00 plus a day ($40 for parking and $35 for resort fee, plus taxes) adds up quickly.

This hotel is very well staffed, maintained and you can genuinely feel how kind their staff is, it’s like a vibe, they are just so nice, helpful and happy people. I am a clean freak, I was impressed by the cleanliness off the entire hotel, the rooms and all communal areas. Even a restroom that many of the public used off the beach was well maintained. I would say my only con was the age-old “put your stuff on chairs at 8am and disappear” was a problem. People would claim multiple chairs in the sunny areas at the pool, then would be gone for hours, kind of rude and not something I would do but I’m not the entitled type. That’s a really hard thing for the staff to monitor, that’s just guests taking advantage even though there are signs prohibiting it. All in all, great place, great location, I will be back.
