Room was clean, a/c was fine , noticed a lot of maintenance items need attention, toilet seat was extremely loose, lobby lights were full of dead bugs, doors needed cleaning and paint. The pool fence is in serious disrepair, pool furniture needs attention as do the umbrellas, The staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff were nice, doesn’t make up for the broken shower door, rusted fridge, the half inch gap under the door to walk into the room, and mostly the ROACH infestation in the property. Bed was comfy, but the couches, had roaches crawling out of the creases.. never spending my money there again, but again I liked the staff!

There is nothing I liked unfortunately.. Scammers place - deposit was taken after issues were raised. Sink was clogged, bugs in the shower area, no cot for toddler, bed bugs, floors were dirty, breakfast was very appauling and with issues - person after injury who is not walking cannot get it. Booked for 3, got room for 2. In short - DISASTER. Here are some pics:

Location was excellent for my planned activities. Price was fair for that area, but indicative of the quality of the place. However, all I needed was a place to sleep overnight. Room very basic. Shower drained so slowly, that you had to quickly finish to prevent water overflowing the edge. Dirty line on shower floor showed shower has had the slow drain problem for a while, and was not cleaned. Reported to front desk upon checkout telling woman that probably some Drano could solve the problem--woman at reception wrote down my complaint, but was very unfriendly and did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Breakfast was okay, but signs all over the area warning people not to take any food out of the kitchen were less than hospitable. I had little time to eat my breakfast before the attendant started breaking it down, but what was really sad was a woman with a small child who had not finished her food. The woman asked if her two year old daughter could take her food back to the room since she wasn't finished (I was the only other person remaining in the kitchen at that time) rather than throw it in the trash. The attendant refused, saying there were video cameras which could cost her job if she allowed food out of the kitchen, so the food was trashed rather than let the Mother and child take it to their room--how sad that employees can't make a common sense decision for fear of termination due to video monitoring of their actions.

The hotel is clean.. The staff is amazing. Chanel at the front desk truly loves serving the guest to make their experience the best it can be.

I did love the pool area and that the pool went to 8 feet deep. I normally stay at the Clarion across the street but decided to try this place out. The management made it to where I couldn't fully enjoy my trip.

I had to check out early bc my husband was very sick (not related to hotel) when I told the desk he was very sick and asked if I could bring him breakfast I was told no that no food was allowed in the room and I couldn’t bring any food upstairs

The room was large enough. Otherwise, everything else was good There was however a chair in the room that should not have been there because it was in serious need of cleaning or just replacement. I would not place anything on that chair.

Location of the hotel and all the people who work there, especially the breakfast staff. The ice machine was not available and I also missed eating eggs for breakfast and, if possible, make the start of breakfast available earlier at a little at 6:45 am.

Poor management and maintenance the room was not to bad but the property and building as a whole package needs quite a bit of work.. surrounded by some good local businesses and dining even pretty close to other shore town areas.. Hopefully they value that location and develop it better

Popcorn ceiling flaking continuously into our bed. Dirtiest bath I've ever seen in a hotel. Beds were comfortable. There was hair all over the sink and counter. Ice comes out very dirty, just but your own bag and place in sink. Inside Pool seemed clean coping and height signs are covered in dirt and grime.

AC was cold ,room was very clean, staff was excellent, however the property itself looks tired and in need of cosmetic and maintenance upgrade.

Room for was clean and staff was very friendly and nice. Need to invest some money to repair the facilities. Fences are missing boards, ceiling in need of repair (looks like a water leak) caulking around molding is bad and missing. Just not much care for the actual physical facility. AC was real loud. People great facility poor.

The desk staff were very kind and informative. The water in the hotel room was very hot, but there was minimum water pressure. The photos on the website make it difficult to see this hotel has outdoor facing rooms, which is unsafe for some travelers. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not secured properly and consistently shifted when using the toilet. The other reviews on the website for this hotel are very good, however, these do not seem consistent with our experience. This hotel is approximately a 20 minutes drive to the beach and very reasonably priced.

The beds were hard but the rooms were clean.

Floors in the room were filthy like they have never been cleaned, literally blackened mybsocks. Door lock ripped to shreds, not even all there. Had to uae a chair propped under the door handle for safety. Faulty wiring strung across the floor, from which the tv and refrigerator would not.work. Floor covered in water from the fridge not working when we got there. Shower head was terrible. Ice machines broken and messes everywhere on the patios. One of my worst hotel experiences.

The stay was overall average. The front desk staff, especially one of the ladies, was very nice and welcoming, which made check-in pleasant. The room was okay but could use some improvements in cleanliness and overall condition. It was fine for a short stay, but there’s definitely room for improvement.

The room was in a state of disrepair. The floors were filthy and hadn’t been cleaned in ages, and there were other issues that raised concerns about other possible underlying problems. By 8:30-9:00 AM, the breakfast was already gone, so we left without using our vouchers. The towels were small and not provided in full sets—just two towels, a floor towel, a washcloth, and a hand towel. At check-in, there was a sign informing us about the cost of additional linens, but we weren’t even given a full set or a clean room to begin with. If the room wasn’t non-refundable, I would have left immediately.

Ok for a one night stay. Definitely looked better in the pictures but it wasn’t bad. The staff were extremely nice and friendly!!!

One thing they could improve is the outside appearance. The exterior looks a little old and not very attractive, so it doesn’t give the best first impression. Aside from that, everything else was good and I would still consider staying here again.

Beautiful pool area, property not fully remodeled but the are on the way! Everything was clean and comfortable! Staff was always helpful, always greeted with a smile.

The staff was super friendly. The bathroom could use a little work. I stayed in room 255 the light fixtures in the bathroom was resting on the shower wall. The shower had no place to put my soap. Left my water in the fridge all day and at night it was frozen. The bed was comfortable. And the pool was inviting. I went swimming every day. Very quiet location. No yelling no screaming. It was nice and the breakfast attendant was awesome and amazing.

Towels stained-key card didnt work upon return to the room both nights- they were out of almost everything at breakfast so we couldn't even have the breakfast but there was a great diner right next door but that was not included in the price of the hotel- pillows were flat - the room needs some upgrades- permanent stains on furniture-shower door would not close- other than that it has a very nice spot for smokers in the back with grass and benches- we felt safe and it did the job but we won't stay here again- the only reason I chose this place was the reviews so I want everyone to get an honest review

Our bedding had stains and holes in it. The shower head was broken and had very low water pressure. There were cigarette butts littered all over the property.

The kitchen had appliances, but not one dish, pan, glass or utensil. Maintenance issues were responded to promptly.

Okay well where do I start? The first night there around 11PM we needed some more toilet paper. Well they were out of toilet paper. We also wanted another pillow, they were out, we needed another towel because there was 3 of us in the room and they were out. We had to run to Wawa to grab our own toilet paper which cost us money we shouldn't of have had to spend. We had to go to Target 1st thing in the morning to grab a towel & a pillow because we had morning plans. Again we had to use our own vacation money on things the hotel should have supplied. The trash was never taken out of our room at all. We had to remove our own trash, room service never came at all during our stay. It was not a great experience for our stay.

Very basic, bed comfortable but squeaky. No ledge in shower so bathroom floor flooded with shower.

You’re getting what you pay for. It’s cheap in every aspect. Traffic noise easily passes through single pain windows and loose door frame. Towels and linens were old and thin. The price attracts disrespectful and loud visitors that sound their car alarms at 2 and 5AM.

Said they were out of towels, toilet paper and pillows. Very dirty. Waited with some others at the front desk for atleast 15 mins till someone came. Place was so sketchy and smelled aweful. Couldn’t get a refund and we had to go find somewhere else to stay. Aweful.

A comfortable reasonably priced place to stay. The maintenance staff was awesome. Had a problem with the refrigerator. By the time I got back to my room from the front desk they were waiting with a new one.

No coffee in room, lobby coffee was bad, and no decaf. Sandpaper towels. Only 3 pillows, king bed needs 4. Good mattress. Toilet runs periodically. Bath door moves the bath rug into a wad creating a trip hazard. (Floor tile installed without shortening the bath door.) Bath sink faucet catches on mirror when turned for hot water.

Needs a real head to toe upgrade. It’s good though, solid hotel.

This hotel charged a deposit (which is a fairly common practice) the day I checked in. After a week they have still not refunded that charge to my credit card. After calling they advised me (incorrectly) that the refund was processed and there was nothing they could do. Now I have to get my credit card company to reject the charge.

Tiny bath towels and only started with 2 in room, fridge didn't work, door didn't seal and we had a cockroach in the room. Shower shelf was broke off, low water pressure. Price was good though and room was clean, beds were decent.

TOLET DID NOT WORK.TOLET WAS FULL BEFORE WE ENTERED THE ROOM. SINK LEAKED ALL OVER THE ROOM AND THE ROOM HAD NO PHONE TO CALL FRONT DESK. ROOM WAS RUN DOWN AND NEEDED PAINT. THIS RODEWAY SHOULD BE CLOSED.

The room was filthy, pulled the sheets back on the bed to find black “something” not knowing if it was bed bugs or dirt either way would not sleep in that room. They changed our room and that room was not much cleaner. The shower door was so loud (screech) that it hurt your ears. Then a roach crawled across the bed, we packed up and left immediately.

The room itself was set up nice and clean. Bathroom ok with shower (no tub) and toilet separate from nice updated sink. TV ok with decent channels but should be updated. Front door needs weather stripping to eliminate tiny gap when closed. Area seems safe. Very convenient location. Staff very nice. Could use a better handy man for room details or walls should be redone. Overall you get what you pay for and is ok for a short stay.

The room was pretty dingy - rust in the shower, stains on the sheets, but the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place was safe and close to the Phillies' spring ballpark and an incredible diner. I'd stay there again, alone, just for a place to sleep but would not stay there with my partner or child.

Very poor housekeeping. Bathroom counter stained. Bathroom shower/toilet walls and floor disgusting. Looked like a dog caused door damage on the bathroom door. I took many pictures to show damage bc I was charged $50 for possible damages.

Room was moldy. Room only got one towel, one washcloth, one hand towel. When we left the washcloth and hand towel on the floor housekeeping took them away and didn’t replace them. Non smoking room smelled like smoke. Could hear people in the rooms next to us the entire time.

If you're looking for the lap of luxury you're in the wrong department. This is an inexpensive motel and nothing more. Yes, there were a few bugs in the room. Yes, the "soap" shelf in the bathroom had fallen off and not been repaired/replaced. Yes, the toilet seat was not bolted properly. These are all the things I expect from a motel that is 1/2 the cost of everything else. This is what I expected, so there were no surprises. If you want a Hilton, stay at a Hilton.

Hotel is right off a frontage road for hwy 19, it is very loud all night. My rooms window faced the road. I got pulled over as I left the hotel, and was told it is the neighborhood trap. You pay for what you get.

I used to go to this hotel all the time. I will never go to this hotel again. I'd gotten key points through hotels.com and I use them because they were about to expire. in all the information that I'd gotten it said of the monies that are going to be needed laid out here. well they weren't so I proceeded. I paid online + I get there and of course now they want a deposit. well I didn't have money like that I was. as I said, just using this because my points were about to expire. now I'm going through a big rig on a roll with the hotel and hotels.com. I'm very very dissatisfied. I will never go to this hotel again. probably whenever we use hotels.com again because they won't get anything fixed for me

Hotel had a lot of water damage, the room I stayed in wasn’t very clean and had a lot of damage. Water barely got warm. Front desk worker was not at front desk when I got there to check in. Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes, called twice in that time. Took another guest coming in and calling for the guy to come out.

This hotel is DISGUSTING. Don't walk away... RUN! It gives off a ghetto feel from the curb & when you get to your room, it's worse. Ours smelled like pot and there were stains and cigarette burns on the mattress. We didn't even put our bags down. We turned around and hightailed it out of there before we caught some nasty disease.

I felt a little uneasy being given a room 126, behind the motel, huge dumpster there, sound of something loud banging outside.. Bed was comfortable, door to bathroom would not open all the way. Pillows and towels, washcloths need replaced. Of course, I am 77, older and getting well worn also. Good place for the modest price and my need for overnight stay.

I had to live here for 3 months after a house fire until we were ready to move. The entire staff from housekeeping to the front office was beyond friendly & helpful. The property was well maintained, quiet, and very fairly priced. Thank you all very much.

Last there were several baby roaches on the desk and floor. And a dead German roach in the closet area, one crawled in the desk and 3 came out of the mini fridge door when I opened it. Door to room didn’t close all the way, top lock was unhinged. I do not recommend this Hotel!

He went and paid again for the days I had already paid! When he left back to work I told me what happened because I asked him why did he booked another hotel since he still had to days there? He told me then that they told him he did not.. I was furious! I called and asked for an explanation and they kept putting me on hold and never would return to my call.. I called Hotels.com and raised the issue and also PayPal .. for what ever reason the hotel told me that my payment and my sons name was not in the system!! I had all the confirmation and receipts in my system . How could they say that? I asked them how did they let him Che k I for 4 days if his name was not in the system? I hit placed on hold again.. It’s bed. 24 hours since the incident and I am waiting to hear back from hotel.com and paypal as they investigate this issue.. Once they contact me and let me know the results of their findings ..I will file a police report so this does not happen to anyone else.!! Take care all and just keep all your receipts and transactions. Because you’ll never know.. Thanks 🙏

Lots of baby cockroaches in the room. On the night stand etc. found someones clothes on the chair by the window. It is a good price. Staff was great. And a nice restaurant next door.

Air broken hot as hell

Absolutely disgusted in this place. Checked in, got to the room and bed was broken leaning to the side. Poop smears on the walls overall just dirty and disgusting.Went to complain and was changed to a new room. Get to the new room and the refrigerator does not work and the room is dirty. He offered a 3rd room, walked in and it smelles awful... i just closed the door and walked back to the office to keep the 2nd room. Had to buy a cooler and ice to keep our food good since we opted for the room with no fridge. We got the "upgraded" rooms and ill just say they need to be "updated" again. I wouldnt recommend this place to ANYONE! Ill be complaining more to management and hopefully can be reimbursed for this crap.

It's one of many hotels that I've stayed where the room was actually clean, no bugs, no pre existing damages. Even the guests r friendly. I enjoyed my time here

The ceiling is falling, the sheets with holes and dirty, the horrible environment the worst I have ever seen, the terrible attention, hygiene they had none, I arrived and I had to leave, I made the claim for my refund because it is a complete disaster, today 1 week later I am still waiting for the refund of my deposit, I recommend it 0 this place should pass an inspection by the city because it has very bad hygiene

Was looking for a room last minute booked this room based off pictures hotels provided when we got there. The room was not as shown not only were the sheets dirty. The property was dirty as well. It looked like they were attempting to pressure wash the hallways where the rooms were but in doing so had took the paint off of the ground and swept it over the railing, allowing you to hit all the cars that were parked below, including ours! I told them I would not be staying in these conditions and I would like a refund. They told me that they cannot do that because we booked the third-party and would have to reach out to that third-party. We asked them for paperwork saying that we did not stay due to the conditions of the room they provided it when hotels reached out they denied our refund. Do not stay here and I won’t be booking anything on this website either since they don’t care about their customers!

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! The pictures are not the reality. There was wet towels underneath the AC unit and there was a small roaches and a used women’s bathing suite in the room.

Room had a hole in the bottom of the door. Pocket door in bathroom would not close. No towel bars in bathroom. Could not speak to housekeeping because they did not speak English. The hotel is in the process of doing a remodel, but has a long way to go.

The best part about the stay was the beds. They were very comfortable. The staff was very nice as well. You can tell that the hotel is a little run down. Boards were loose. The room had hard wood which i loved. I cant stand carpet. I misread the pool closing time. It closes at 7:30 to me thats a little early but i understand because the beach is close by. I didnt like our neighbors above us. I have small children and they sat on their outside area and smoked weed. I found that very disrespectful. This hotel is good for a quick night stay.

Light fixture fell out of the ceiling when the front door was shut. A light fixture or smoke alarm was missing from one of the interior walls...bare wires exposed...not even taped off. AC and internet worked OK. Overall...not a very nice place.

Full of junkies and homeless. I pulled in and there was literally a dumpster fire in the back of the place. No bedside lamps. No charging ports. Vanity light does not work. Cockroach under the pillow. I came here because it’s not far from my home and I needed to be away for the night for safety. Not feeling very safe. Stay far away.

Misleading pictures, poor lighting, unsafe cables around floor, no cleaning of room during stay (3 days), no trash pick-up, sticky floor, roach under pillow, jammed front door, no TV remote available, stained linen, noisy A/C. I paid for DELUXE ROOM. No refund provided for this garbage. Employee stated this is common on this property. STAY AWAY.

I have to say i expected less but i was super suprised. The bed in room 153 was so comfy. No noise i slept like a baby

The first night ,TV was working after that no TV called but maint was gone for the day The front desk clerk wasn't friendly.

Website didn’t say that the hotel was under renovations. The pool was not available and there were roaches in the bathroom!

Motel under construction but that was fine. The issue was the towels are super small & extremely thin. The pillows on the bed were smaller than couch throw pillows. Door kept sticking, huge gap understand door. Guy at front desk was extremely rude for no reason.

Checked in and room was never cleaned. Sheets were dirty, towels were dirty, garbage all over the place, hair all over the place. We had to buy our own cleaning supplies to clean the room. The staff refused to give a new room and refused to clean the room for us.

Towels were dirty with what appeared to be body fluid stains. Pool was closed being renovated. Room looked nothing like what photos from website shown. Walls in bathroom dirty with stains on them. Staff were friendly.

The pool was closed and they didnt tell us beforehand... the front desk guy vareji was rude.

Stay away ROACH MOTEL !!!!!

When we arrived at the property there were some unpleasant people in the area, the building was dirty, the customer service was horrible, and when we arrived at the room the sheets were horrible, the bathroom had no light and the room and furniture stank, it was a bad experience, we had to leave the horrible place.

Unfortunately it was really rundown. The photos online were deceiveing. The bed caved in the middle, no remote for tv, stained and holes in sheets. Stains on headboard and chair.

I was left with no place to stay and had to drive home!

Checked in late at night. Went to the room to be greeted by cockroaches. Bathroom light didn’t work so they had put an old half broken lamp in the bathroom. Furniture had been chewed by something and the door looked like it had been kicked in so the locks didn’t work properly. Pictures on Expedia were 100% of another hotel/motels rooms. I was not expecting luxury but I was also not expecting that. Checked out immediately and went to the lovely La Quinta next door.

The first room we were assigned had a broken bed and no lamps. We asked for a new room that was only slightly better- rotten door, dirty chair, dirty walls, ground wire hanging out of the light fixture in the shower, vanity light did not work, German cockroach in the bathroom, and a bed that you need a ladder to get into. We checked out early and lost the money on two nights stays.

Thin, stained towels and wash rags. Door frame was deteriorating, big gap for rain and sunlight to come in. Tiles on floor were not glued down or caulked, floor was wet in areas for the 15 hours we had the room.

DISGUSTING HOTEL!!! If there were negative stars to give, I would. The staff was rude & we waited 40 minutes just to check in. The building & stairs are in extremely poor condition and the room? It was disgusting. The windows were so dirty you couldn’t see outside. The only view is of a parking lot where people were doing drugs by the dumpster. The room smelled terrible, the bathroom door had a large blood/feces smear on it, and the shower was filthy. We immediately left. They refused to give us a refund. So disappointing.

The hotel is in deplorable conditions the windows or doors dont close all the way. And theres spider webs on the wall and stains on the chair. Ever again.

The only good I could find you can find on this property are friendly employees. Everything thing else was subpar. Not how it presents itself. Would not recommend.

The property wasn’t very clean! The light in the bathroom was replaced with a half broken lamp. Went to get dinner and came back to roaches crawling all over our beds. Staff seemed to be unfazed by the matter like it was a usual thing, however they did refund us the money so we went somewhere else.

Ongoing work created hazardous condition. Room was noisy during the entire stay.

Wow. The property managers were fine but there were some questionable people hanging out at night. Not a family friendly spot.

Henry was very attentive to me an my girlfriend with a situation that I had in Clearwater. He was nice enough to keep my stuff. I appreciate a lot his help

This was a dangerous property nothing worked everytbing was broken and dirty the toilet did not flush the service was terrible no one was there to help this place should not be allowed to run and plan on getting a refund

The room cleanness was questionable. All doors were too noisy to slide/open. The bed was king but pretty noisy and it was bent in the middle (like v-shape). The free parking and the microwave in the room were great. It was super close to Costco and other dinning options.

When checked into our room there were small pieces of hair all over sink and toilet had feces stains. I took pictures and went to front desk, the front desk person was very non-chalant and put us in another room. The rooms seem to be renovated very poorly, the second bed in our room made so much noise we felt it was going to break. The shower had a major leak problem that flooded the entire bathroom floor. I reported the issue to management and they stated someone would come into room and fix it. When we arrived back in our room to our surprise the issue remained at this point we didnt care to complain becaue we were checking out the next morning. Unfortunately this experience was so awful that I will never stay at this hotel again and make sure to share that with all my friends.

Overall the stay was good. Except housekeeping never came to my door like last time I stayed for me to get extra towels. I managed this time though. Thank you.

Decent place to stay for a short trip.

Stayed overnight for a concert quiet cool room at a great price comfortable bed for good sleep. Excellent breakfast joint right next door

Dirty, tired rooms with wheezing ac failing blackout curtins and leaking plumbing. The linens left me cleaner before my shower. Would have been more comfortable sleeping in my car. Lots of permenant hurricane refugees.

This facility was dirty and terrible. The bathroom door didn't close. The smoke detector didn't have a battery cover on it nor a battery in it and it was sitting on the bathroom counter. I had to go to the front desk three different times to get this resolved. The staff was mediocre. I mean who sends a battery with the guest so she can put the smoke detector back together?? I was not impressed with anything involved with my stay.

The front desk woman was an absolute nightmare to deal with. Would not take my payment would not listen to me. I stayed calm thank God and the manager came and allowed me to pay (extremely expensive for one day) but allowed me to pay

The rooms were very outdated and dirty . We didn’t have no towels , water smelt awful even after showering smelt dirty . Bathroom disgusting , outlets broken and uncover electrical hazard . Beds were cheap and uncomfortable.

Hotel is just a typical motel, I’ve stayed in better venues under the Rodeway brand. To didn’t work, hotel looked outdated!

They over charged my credit card 5 separate times for different amounts. Had to dispute with credit card company. Do not stay here

The entire property is run down. I think people may be living here by the week/month. Pool area was very uninviting. Hot water is lukewarm and air conditioning is not cold. They asked me for a 50$ deposit in case I break anything....lol

Horrible there was some type of bust at least ten people were arrested I was scared to sleep then moldy ceilings over bed could not breathe the worst place I ever been

People yelling until 2 am in the morning, my door didn’t close all the way in, there was a woman smoking outside my doir for hours.
