Clean and friendly service

I’ve stayed at this location a few times, but my latest trip was unfortunate. While the room was clean, there was a cockroach on the ceiling that appeared out of nowhere. Staff arrived to remove it within minutes of calling, but the rest of the night was unsettling. Having an air conditioner that didn’t stay on didn’t help the matter. The faceplate is motion activated, so even set at 70 degrees, the AC shut off and the room temp sat at a warm 75 degrees. Uncomfortable with no air movement. I was given a fan to borrow for the night, but the convenience of having the AC was all but lost.

I was disappointed with my stay overall. The staff did not seem very friendly or attentive during my visit. After staying for 4 days, I requested to have my room cleaned, but it appeared that the message was never communicated or followed up on. I had expected much better service considering the amount I paid for the stay. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the standards or level of hospitality that the company advertises. Better communication, customer service, and attention to guest requests would greatly improve the experience for future guests.

Home 2 has the ability to house my family of 6 without needing to purchase another room. Disappointing breakfast service and seating area. Room didn't have the blankets or pillows to support my occupants. Phone was disconnected. (Is that a liability?)

My expectations were definitely exceeded with this beautiful hotel. Front desk was very helpful and everything was clean and in order. The room was like a mini apartment and that was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend it to anyone and will stay again myself!

It was really noisy and I know they can’t help that but we had cockroaches in our room. I saw one on the ceiling and took care of it. I figured that maybe it would just be that. The next morning, I saw a big one on the partition curtain. Then my daughter points one out that one of us stepped on at some point. It was disappointing to have that type of experience. There was another shoe print on the ceiling and I can only assume they had smashed a roach. I get that sometimes bugs are unavoidable but c’mon, have some kind of pest control measures in place to avoid it as much as possible. I just hope we didn’t come home with any in our bags.

The only negative was that Google Maps could not get us to the hotel and the access is very confusing. It requires driving through the parking lot and around the back of a neighboring hotel.

Location, Staff, breakfast, and the free apples. Felt very welcome, rooms were Big and clean! Will be back! Having to put the key in the door to turn on the lights. I know this is a new thing across all hotels to save money on electricity. Just annoying ?

When I contacted the hotel later that evening they said we left the door card on the door so it’s their policy to not enter. We specifically removed the card and the housekeepers were in the hall when we left. Very disappointing! No trash emptied, nothing. They did drop off fresh towels when I complained. The hotel is clean, best location and floorplan is nice

Staff were very friendly and the hotel was very clean. Rooms were great! I was happy to have a kitchen area with a fridge. Beds were comfortable and lighting was perfect.

The walls must be very thin. I heard lots of noise until 5:00 a.m. It was crazy. Called at 3:00 a.m. to complain, stopped for about 15 minutes. So if it's a peaceful sleep you want, don't go there.

I just went to a funeral. It was close. It was fine. Breakfast was decent. Black out shades were awesome.

Clean room, clean lobby area. The interior inside the room is great. Love that they have the little kitchen along with plenty room for storage.

We have stayed at this location the past few years when visiting family. We like that the rooms are large and allow enough space for all five of us and that breakfast is offered. We also appreciate how dog friendly they are, having taken our small dog along for the trip the past few years. There is plenty of space to walk her outside and doggy bags and trash cans are easy to find. However, the comfort of the room this time left us second guessing our choice to stay there. The pillows were absolutely terrible this time. They were way too soft, which caused them to smash down completely flat, offering no support at all. In addition, the shower head offered two settings: straight down the middle with needle sharp water, or all around the outside in a large circle with nothing in the middle. We may think twice before staying here again.

We love this location and property. We always stay here when we come to visit family. Breakfast was good, but run out of a few items both days. The rooms are really nice and big for our family of 6, but the beds and pillows need an upgrade. Staff is welcoming and helpful.

THE SHOWER HAD MIDEW ,I BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION, SAID THEY WOULD SOMEONE TO CLEAN BUT NEVER DID. CLEAN

The AC did not work in the room I had the worst sleep, the toilet handle was broken, there was not clear direction nor did the front desk attendant let us know before hand where the extra sheets were for the pullout bed - he saw our kids. We got in at 1030pm and it would have been nice to have their bed ready but we had to call and ask for help.

When I arrived on location check in when to the room first step inside water on floor came back down request different room was told not available gave next room. Shower room has Mold, A/C making tingling noise , room smells all weekend..

First room they gave us was not non-smoking even though it was clearly marked that way. New room had hair all over the bathroom and kitchen. A random fork was still in the dishwasher. There was no ice bucket we just used a bowl from the dishes.

Great stay. Loved the room, lobby, Atlana at the front was great, w/d was used.

The staff mixed up our room and it took over an hour to fix. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. The breakfast had very limited options. Not nearly as many options as other hotels even other hotels from the same company.

For breakfast there isn’t a large variety of options but what they do have is pretty good. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is great for us since we have a child at Fresno State. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is pretty good. Staff was great.

There were not enough waffle makers during breakfast, so a long line formed. Other than that, my stay was very comfortable.

This place really goes out of its way to make you feel at home the gym is nice the access to complimentary coffee is a small but meaningful gesture of hospitality me and my girlfriend come to Clovis often to visit family and after staying here we’re definitely going to make it our place to stay when visiting thank you !!!

Close to airport with many restaurants and stores nearby. Stay was uneventful for this family of 6. Pool was closed; workout space was nice.

Check-in smooth. Hallway dirty (flosser and lint on floor for 18 hrs). Mold in shower. Pillows lumpy. Certainly not the quality we’ve experienced in other cities

The check in was super easy with staff on site. I especially like how big the room was with the kitchen, sink, fully stocked utensils, paper towels, dish soap, and everything kitchen related. The big fridge was a huge plus for me to keep all my food cold and prepped for hiking the next days. I liked the laundry facility a lot. Work as expected and I had clean clothes after each hike. The closet was very spacious too. Morning breakfast was great. I expected just cereal but there was a waffle maker, eggs, potato wedges, sausage patties, bread of various types. Would come back 10/10.

Overall, we were very happy with our stay at this hotel.

The hotel advertises shuttle service. I called for shuttle at 12:50 pm and was told driver was at lunch so we could expect shuttle in 30 minutes. After 45 minutes, I phoned hotel again and was told due to emergency, they were contacting an uber driver. It took an additional 30 minutes for uber driver to arrive. The temperatures were in high 80’s and waited outside as we were uncertain about shuttle arrival time. I am 80 and my travel companion is 91. We were extremely unhappy and expressed our unhappiness to desk clerk. We think the hotel should have been proactive in advising us about the shuttle situation. I also found out that their shuttle service starts at 9 am and we needed shuttle service at 8:30 next morning, so fortunately another uber was required.

This was a wonderful place. Very clean and the staff was awesome. The only issue was the pool area was very dirty, the pool needs cleaning. The trash around the pool was there all week. Cig butts, hair balls. Just overall needs cleaned. The grills were a plus but also nasty. We used but lined with foil.

They advertise ourselves is having a free shuttle to the airport. However, you are not allowed to leave your car there even though I called ahead to see if we could. This was a very major inconvenience for us. We had to work something else out after we arrived at the hotel

The pool needs some improvement. The kids did not want to use it because it was so dirty.

This hotel is convenient to the airport. Close to restaurants and shopping. Beds were comfortable however the pillows were flat. Room was comfortable but when the air conditioning kicks off the fan stops which causes the room to get hot. I would recommend a ceiling fan or fix the thermostat where the fan would always run. We also needed to return the rental the night before our flight because of having an early flight. They sent the shuttle to come pick us up. And in the morning they paid for an uber back to the airport because the shuttle was not running at 3:30 am. We would stay again.

My room wasnt clean and I was told the breakfast was from 6-10, but when i went at 930 everything was gone. I asked if they were going to bring out more food and I was rudely told no, even though threr was 30 mins left.

Breakfast was not up to par for a Hilton experience.

I found the bed comfortable and bathroom very nice with dual sinks and a secondary sink outside of the bathroom. It was great being with my 3 teenagers always in the bathroom.

Loud party in the room next-door. Took the desk too long to rectify the problem. Otherwise, the hotel was fine. Good workout room. Staff was friendly.

When maintenance came by the next day (I apologize I did not catch his name) he was professional, kind, and efficient. He even gave the kiddos some Easter eggs after he helped us fix the curtain! The check out process was the only troublesome part. The man working at check out acted as if I was bothering him when asking for a receipt. He is making the other staff/hotel look bad. The room was clean and suited our needs for a 3 day stay! We have stayed here several times before and will come back again.

Very spacious and I love that they have a refrigerator and dishes.

Nice laundry room, with 2 sets of machines. Good workout space. Great hotel rooms, good size, very comfortable. Terrific bed. The temp control was a bit erratic, tho. The breakfast food was quite good, tho the layout is crowded and a bit confusing. Hot drinks & cold water available 24/7. Next time we come thru Fresno/area, this will be our go-to spot.

I ask them to fix the heater before maintenance left at 6 pm but they did not I ask if I could have a different room because the heater was just throwing cold air it’s took them 2 hours to do it they were very rude …

We always book Home 2 when we come to Fresno/Clovis. WE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM staying here and the staff was always accommodating and friendly. However this is this first time we ran into an issue with room service. We called in for some more blankets and pillows since roughly 330pm and they never came. We called again around 530 pm because we were leaving the room and they never came. We couldnt wait anymore. When we got down stairs it was about 6 pm and we told the front desk that they never came to bring us the items. The front desk was nice and told us they would check for us. We told them to just leave it in the room since we will be out. We came back around 10 pm and still no blankets and pillows. At this point, we were so upset so my husband went down and told the front desk and they gave him the blankets and said they would bring the pillows. This person actually came through and brought the pillows. In the end we still enjoyed our stayed but was just a little disappointed in the service this time.

Badly constructed building and front desk staff that don’t like their job and make it the guests’ problem. We are never coming back and likely never staying at another Hilton hotel if this is how cheap they make their hotels. Horrible experience. AVOID THIS HOTEL!!

We checked in late, around 5pm. Our room was ready but didn’t have our extra bed set up. Had to request again. We loved that all Home2Suites rooms were very spacious, came complete with microwave oven, fridge, plates, cups and cutleries. One of the cups weren’t clean though. They were eco-friendly too - refillable bottled toiletries. Our stay came with free breakfast too. Over-all we had a good stay.

Property needs to clean up after they serve breakfast, we arrived at 2:45 and that areas tables and floor was a mess. We saw someone clean up at 3:30pm close to the time they finally gave us our room. Yes it was busy, but the attendant at the front desk can take 5 min to sweeper and clean the 3 tables they have out front in order to keep the name of Hilton looking good. Another issue, raising the prices just because there is a band competition near by is unethical, these days everything is so expensive and you have parents and family traveling from far away to see their kids perform; to raise the price just because of volume is very very unethical. We paid $550 for two nitghts for a room worth $350 for two nights. Never again staying at Hilton properties. The value is just not there anymore, even if it does have the name.
