The rooms are upgraded and clean. Looks like a motel on the outside but the room was very nice, just as pictured. Ours had a small kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the Backyard Social Club bar next door (which they are helping advertise for but it’s a popular locals spot)

It was a home away from home. All 5 stars were deserved.

Super clean and amazing shower. A few issues. The shower was very slippery, needs some adhesive. Kitchenette was great, but no supplies at all. No pots, pans, dishes, utensils, nothing. Who is going to pack that stuff? You need to either supply the stuff or be able to check out from front desk.

I found this property to be very clean and pleasant. My room was huge with lots of extra space - I'm surprised to be saying this, but I would have preferred less space. Great room for a family - you can add lots of cots if you need! I was comfortable and enjoyed my short stay. Didn't really use any other amenities.

Staff were lovely, room was big and very clean. Parking was a nice bonus. Nice easy walk into Old Town Clovis. Specifically booked the room because it had a kitchen. Unfortunately there were no utensils. A stove but no pots or pans, no plates, spoons, bowls, mugs, glasses. Every cupboard and drawer completely empty. Fridge was also a bonus but having no cutlery didn't help. Hairdryer unfortunately didn't work. Aircon, whilst nice and cold, was very, very loud. Was great to be able to walk into Old Town Clovis. Ok for the money.

Plugs in the bathroom did not work, none of them. Filthy room, stained (sweat hopefully) pillow cases. ac did not cool well, was 76 when ac was on full blast. There was mold in the fridge, stains on the walls. There was hot water, so i guess it gets a star. When anything was brought up they said maintenance would get to it in a few days, well, i was only there for a few days..... There seem to be a lot of good reviews on this place, which is why i gave it a shot. Must have been paid reviews!

The room and bathroom are spacious. It has a kitchenette and clean. Ample space for parking and quiet. Highly recommended.

No complaints as a single woman traveling alone in the Fresno area. Room was fresh, clean and had everything needed for a comfortable and quiet night. Air conditioning and fan worked fine. Bed was fine. If you are staying here extended, as there is a full kitchenette….there were ZERO supplies, as in dishes, cups, utensils, pans to bake in, etc. at all. Cupboards in the nice little kitchen are completely bare, so be aware of that fact. I was only staying one night so it wasn’t an issue for me this time, but could be if you were staying longer and actually wanted to utilize the kitchenette aspect of this room.

There were a few shortcoming though: the air conditioner, though effective especially for the hot weather, was loud (but not louder than most 3-star and below hotels we had). The venting fan in the bathroom was loud (this can be easily fixed if the management invest a little bit). You can hear people walking around in early morning. There's no lobby for you to sit and social. However, if you don't mind the above, Rodeo offers a fantastic value.

nice TV size & picture, directv cons: ICE machine out of order, TV volume was not good, cheap built in speaker made volume low even when turned up. Biggest Con: kitchenette with small cooktop had NO cups, glasses, bowls, plates, utensils, cookware. Every cupboard and drawer in kitchenette was EMPTY, so basically Kitchenette was useless

Nothing provided in the kitchen so you have to bring your own pots and pans, utensils, etc. so the kitchenette is useless except the fridge. The only reason I booked here was for use of the kitchenette and the pool which was shut down by the health department. There was also cockroaches.

Location is great and both check in and check out staff were great. Everything functioned well and kitchenette was splendid. Only drawbacks were the floors in my room (laminate, not restroom) were dirty and sticky. Bed was absolutely shot tho. Busted springs and a HUGE area with permanent impression. Overall 3 out of 5 stars is fair I think. Also the desk chair has seen better days.

The property is clean, staff is friendly and location is efficient ( stores, shopping ctrs and main road in 2 minutes). Good size rooms with kitchenet and AC provided. I had no problem with any of the amenities or the location. The room was clean everyday and attention to detail was emphasized when replenishing the toiletries and towels. I didn't use the gated pool or the little convinient store in front desk.

It was obvious the owner tried to remodel this property so It was just ok. Should’ve stayed at a chain.

I got my room walked in, and there was a cockroach crawling on the floor plus turned on the light the wall had mold. It wasn’t really a good experience. Also let the people know about it and didn’t really get a refund. I would not recommend this place plus will never be back.

It is a good place to stay because you are close to a lot of places. It is on the inexpensive side but it is a very old establishment but that being said it seems to be well maintained. Staff was nice upon arrival and check out but a little distant during my stay. This wasn’t my first visit.

The outside of property is filthy. There is a flood light that shines in your room at night over the whole property. There is a bar behind the place with very loud music. They ignore the do not disturb and clean your room so .. I did complain about that and she was rude and dismissive on Saturday evening. The pillows are thin and hard, the only covering is an old stale blanket. Their reviews do not reflect the truth about this property.

Clean rooms

Always have a nice stay here and have never had any issues. However, some attitude from the unfriendly guy at check in. Very short with us on early check in after we had received an email saying we would just have to check in with the front on coming early. Totally fine if no rooms are available, but there’s a way to be kind and have better customer service :)

For the price this was great! Nice clean rooms with a kitchen. Reminds me of a studio. Parking was good, it’s close to shopping centers as well. Pet friendly is a plus.

But our room had food in the fridge, very industrial lighting, and one of the beds was on wheels (which made it hard to sit up in bed to read or relax without it rolling away from the wall). The room wasnt too bad otherwise, but it didn't feel luxurious or super clean. There was a couple of things that the hotel couldn't control that were unfortunate: 1. a guest or visitor on a loud motorcycle who would idle for several minutes and come in and out of the parking lot several times throughout the night (after 10:30pm) 2. Our neighbors were getting busy all night and clunking on the wall closest to where our heads were...so it was uncomfortable to try to rest and relax. Luckily our kid had fallen asleep and didn't know what the vibrating wall and knocking meant. We feel badly leaving negative comments, but we also don't want future guests to come in unaware. We went through Hotels.com and chose this place for its decent reviews and moderate price. But it isn't a great place for a family to stay. Hope it gets better...or that maybe we had a fluke bad night there.

The frame for the bed was extremely squeaky and worn, the bed itself was thin and worn and there were roaches. I had to struggle to get a refund for the remainder of my stay after discovering roaches in my room.

Motion-censored bright light in the sink area which is open to the sleeping area kept continually turning on every time I moved in bed. There was no way to turn it off which caused me to lose hours of sleep. First time in my life I have had this problem at a hotel. On top of that, the TV did not work! Will not be returning!

Cons were definitely the location of the room, we had the first room closest to the street and all night we could hear vehicles as if there were practically no walls. The kitchen was great but there was absolutely no utensils/dinnerware. It was the first time we got a room with a kitchen that had absolutely nothing; am I supposed to be traveling with plates and a pan? The towels were the absolute worst and the size was small even for it being just an inn; my partner kept making jokes about them. When I went to get more the front desk seemed annoyed I didn't bring the old towels with me; I suppose it would be too much trouble for housekeeping in the morning? Either way, no I don't want to walk across your parking lot to bring you 4 wet towels so you can give me new ones. Housekeeping was at least very lovely.

The only thing was the bed. It had dents in the mattress and was uncomfortable. It should be replaced. I didn’t get any sleep on it and got up sore from the springs.

Hotel was conveniently located near many great places to eat and drink. The room was a great size. It had a nice kitchenette and microwave. However upon going in, the room reeked of bleach. I had to open both windows and air it out for a good while before doing anything else. There were also only three pillows on the bed (for two guests). Also the bed squeaked something fierce with the slightest movement. All in all a good place to stay and rest for the time my partner and I were here with the exception of the aforementioned things. I would definitely stay here again but will be sure to take a few steps for comfort in future stays.

Rooms smell of excess chemicals and it makes it hard to breathe. Night staff is very rude. Towels are like paper and the TV rarely works. Great place for your dogs I guess.

Room smelled of extreme chemicals and there was no working TV. When checking in I mentioned I wanted a working TV and the woman at the front had an attitude about tha. Every stay we have encountered TV and/or internet issues. She gave me attitude and I said we have had these issues before. Sure enough there was an issue. She refused to listen to me and basically said we had to go to the office and get a new remote. Of course that was not programmed. Overall lack of service is the reason we will not go back. They have zero empathy for folks driving all day to tend to very sick parents. Shame on them.

Kitchen has no utensils, pans, or anything. Bed was rock hard. Cockroaches came out at night. It smelled clean walking in (bleach) and the front desk people were very nice.

When we checked in the young woman was very courteous and friendly and so was the gentleman when we checked out. We will be using the Rodeo Lodge to stay again for sure. Had a long stay between travels to visit with family. Chose for the kitchenette because I prefer to cook own meals. No pans, dish soap, utensils, dishes, glasses. Maybe they are still in process of completing the kitchenettes? Hmmm, anyway, I purchased a small frypan, borrowed plastic ware from my sister, had my own electric teapot (not a coffee drinker and using furnished coffee pot for hot water turns out like filtered coffee). Bed was comfortable, shower was hot. couple cons-room close to street so LOTS of traffic noise and half the room had no light. Other than that my two week stay was pleasant and close to everything I needed to get to.

Room was clean. Some features could be updated like the desk chair was comfortable but ripped, the toilet seat has a worn off spot, the shower wasn’t powerful because the switch from the drain plug wouldn’t go all the way up. None of these things are reasons to not stay here because for the price and location it’s a good place. Didn’t feel unsafe and close enough to all the things we wanted to be close to. Staff was nice, rooms look updated as far as flooring and beds, our room had a mini-kitchen. Beds were comfortable and the heating worked. The hotel a block away was twice the price and even including breakfast wouldn’t be as good a value. Will be back if we need a place in town again.

The first room that we received had dirty linens the remote for the TV had to be reprogrammed and there’s not sufficient pillows for two people. They gave us a total of three pillows. The pillows are not that great so definitely needed at least two more when we requested them, they said they don’t have any. They did change our room due to the dirty linens, but that room smelled like mildew in the bathroom at that point, we were just tired and didn’t feel like asking for another room change. He did come knocking at the door requesting the two pillows that we took from our previous room back. We did give them back. He did bring us one extra floppy pillow that came from who knows where that we didn’t end up using… At about 5 AM the emergency alarm started going off for about 30 to 40 minutes so after a long day of driving seven hours to get there and be woken up by the alarm at 5 AM was definitely not pleasant

Other guests were having a loud party in the parking lot next to my room. I asked if I as able to switch rooms. The front desk said there was another room available but she could not "switch" me, I had to pay to book that room if I wanted to move rooms. 0/10

It got stained because the cheap shower curtain did not keep all the water in the tub. So the rusted metal flashing on the floor around the tub/tile stained the mat.

This employee chose to keep our $50 dollar deposit because there were stains on linen. I did not argue that policy and had no problem. The video evidence will show the owners the entire conversation. What occurs next is Lisa asked me about my overall experience at the hotel. At this point I tell her that the hotel ignored our request for an extra pillow. This is when Lisa becomes clearly annoyed and also is increasingly being passive aggressive with her body language and attitude. When I tell her we were not able to use the pool because it is noticeably green water and unsanitary for the public she is annoyed I am requesting the owners and management watch the video and how this employee interacts with customers. In the video you can hear her say in a short period of time repeatedly 10-20 times “have a good day” in a hostile demeaning manner. Lisa claims I am just trying to argue about a deposit- wow…and then claims she is going to call the police to have me removed when I tell her she is being unprofessional and projecting aggression. The threat of police as an attempt to silence me from reporting her behavior is despicable. I am encouraging the owners and management to watch the recordings of your employee- the manic”have a good day”, the laughter and demeanor is awful

The room was clean but there were roaches. It made it hard to stay in the room. We have to keep of suitcases in our vehicle and not leave any food on the tables. When i did leave something just to go to the bathroom there was a roach that got on the table. As for service i did have an incident with one worker cleaning right outside my door at around 7am.. he was sweeping the top of a trash can.. when i asked him if he could please not do that right now.... his response wasn't I'm sorry it was a very rude Whaaat... (body shrug frustrated face) I'm cleaning.. and just proceeded. Mind you i did have the please do not disturb sign on my door. I had arrived late and needed my sleep

Very poor service. Bathroom was clogged and was not able to use September 12 evening and morning next day. Maintenance showed up hours after front desk said they were in their way. When arrived we were removed from room just so they can fix the clogged. Front desk girl was rude and not helpful.

They accuse you of stealing stuff like towels and pillow cases and breaking a toilet seat so they can keep your deposit. Me & my husband & 2 kids stayed there for 4 days and were only in the room at night because we were gone all day for the powwow so to accuse us of breaking something is hilarious. Everytime we go and stay in Clovis we stayed here not anymore! Staff was rude and didnt even try to fix this.

Good place to stay for a few days. The AC works great, it's clean and in a great location.

Conveniently located near downtown and next to Outdoor social bar/eatery, room was clean and cool. Only downside was the electricity didn't work on the wall that housed microwave and coffee pot so wasn't able to warm up left overs.

There was some guy singing at the top of his lungs on one side of me, and a questionable party on the other side. I needed to step out, bit one of the party goers was sleeping between my door and my parking spot. I had to call the desk for help. And it took her a while to make him go back into his room.

Centrally located for visiting Clovis. Quick and easy check in. Friendly staff. Room was very clean with nice furnishings and a ceiling fan. The pool was great, we visited during a heat wave. We had no major issues and the only things we were bothered by was a loose toilet sear and the direct tv kept freezing up. A great stay, will stay again, and i will recommend to others!

Very clean room and clean overall property. Really appreciated the oversized mini fridge. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Had an issue with a running toilet and maintenance guy was there within minutes. Housekeeping staff were also very attentive and helpful. Great experience - thank you.

Coming back to my hometown, I was familiar with this hotel, comfy bed, overall a clean hotel with nice staff. This was my second stay here .

The tv is not working when I confronted the front lobby they said oh that’s the room with the broken tv other then that it’s nice

I think larger towels would be great!

Be careful there are many rooms with no WiFi and no TV. According to the staff they know this, but they don’t tell you till you are in the room! Staff is not empowered to move you to a room with WiFi. If you don’t care, then it won’t be a problem. Be sure to bring your own dishes and towels if you can. Towels are very thin and worn. Rooms are decent especially if you don’t care about the tv or WiFi.

Very clean, close to the airport.

TV remote did not work. AC needs some work and overall it was a bit run down but the bed was comfortable and it was spacious.

The facility was nice and right next to a cool restaurant/ bar but firealarm went off and staff stated they couldn’t do anything until the morning when I called in middle of night. Couldn’t sleep. Staff Not accommodating, couldn’t move us to another room, no mention of inconvenience at check out and no call from manager to follow up.

The room is spacious. The air conditioner is very noisy. I would like to add kitchen utensils. There is a kitchen, but there is nothing for it

It is always a wonderful and refreshing experience to stay at Rodeo Lodge. Both the team and the beauty of the property make one feel so welcome. Its location is also convenient; as it is close to so many shops and restaurants.

this is the second time I've stayed here, stayed here last year and both times were extremely pleasant.

Clean rooms and friendly staff

Out of the four accommodations we had for our 2 week trip, this was the most accommodating. Much better than any around Yosemite and Sequoia.

The room was very clean. So spacious lots of room. Had a nice sized refrigerator. The only thing was no WiFi our entire stay. Other than that we will definitely be booking our next visit with them. Pet friendly also if you have fur babies..Staff was awesome!!! Clean pool..

The rooms are very comfortable. Both crew and guests are very pleasant. The trees and birds add a subtle touch.

The property is very beautiful. All grounds are well kept. Everyone in the crew is very pleasant and welcoming.

Very modern clean and spacious

The property is very unassuming. Once we got into the room we couldn't believe how roomy, clean , and comfortable it was! Everything was in good working condition. Lots of conveniences like a fridge, stovetop, and even an extra shower built to accommodate people with physical access needs. Loved staying here with the family.

No internet

Not bad for the price

Been moving from SoCal to NorCal for the past 4 days, and paying $120+/night at hotels with the same look and feel ‐ UNTIL I stepped into my room at rhe Rodeo. It blew me away! It was after a long, hot day and the AC was up to the task and it was a perfect 70 degrees in no time. Nice, clean western decor and cool laminate flooring (as opposed to gross carpeting harboring someone's foot fungus and flicked boogers) with LOTS of room not matter if I brought a 500-lb. steer or a 9-pound Chihuahua-turned-football! I sort of felt like I got someone else's room, I was stoked and even wanted to order overpriced food via room service to celebrate! Now it's time to check out the bed with the First Flop! And ... it ... is gonna be REAL hard to make that 11AM checkout time!

Clean and comfortable

Not good

The room wasn’t ready by the 3:30pm check in time. When we did check in it reeked of bleach. We spent 2 nights there and the second morning it sounded like there was a dog fight downstairs. Overall, it’s about what I expected for the price.

Room was great. Check in was professional. $20/dog for my 3 dogs was crazy. Together they weigh 24 lbs. Next time I will only bring my 120 lb Shepherd.

Good place to stay but issues with Direct TV

The price $80 per night

Long drive this day, so we got here at 11pm. Getting ready for bed and there were 3 guys that show up next door and were drinking out inform of there room. We couldn’t sleep. I went outside ask them to quiet down and we were trying to sleep. They didn’t, so I called the front desk, asked them to either take care of this or call the police. The hotel did nothing. I should have just called the police myself. Stay somewhere else.
