Close to I-25 so great for our site-seeing trips to Colorado Springs, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, as well as Downtown. Comfy bed. Spacious suite!

The property itself was clean. The room should come with complimentary ear plugs or add when selecting the room that the highway vehicles will not let you sleep. I slept 3 hours max. Should off just slept at the car and saved the $143.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We paid for the mountain view, and it was stunning! The room was comfortable and clean, and the staff was very friendly. The indoor pool was freezing, but our 10-year-old was still able to enjoy it. We spent our time in the hot tub! It was in a quiet area of town, but within 20 minutes of the airport and all the attractions we wanted to visit (including Garden of the Gods, Cog Railway, and Cheyenne Mountain Zoo). We would definitely stay here again.

I’m going to start by saying I chose this hotel because I had stayed here before wih no issues. However, this time wasn’t as smooth. At first when I got there I was supposed to have a Mountain View which I reserved and paid for. That wasn’t the case, then I realized the AC unit in the room was not working, it wouldn’t even turn on. I contacted the hotel customer service lobby and was told the repairman would not be able to come at night I would have to wait until the next day. I asked to please find a solution as I couldn’t sleep in a hot room with my teen. They couldn’t accommodate my Mountain View request but luckily I was able to be transferred to another room with working AC at 12:30 am. At that point I didn’t even care to complain about the Mountain View as it was now two problems instead of one and I had flown 5 hours traveling all day to get there. Kind of disappointed,

I did not stay in the room because I had to cancel the reservation because of a death and ill-timed funeral. Expedia did all they could do to help, but the proprietors at the HIE&S would not have it. I understand a no-cancel reservation is no cancel, but there should be allowances for extenuating circumstances. Not happy.

Good location and clean

The staff was great from check-in to breakfast and checking out. Only issue was the television didn’t work. Location was just what we needed for our activities. Price through Expedia was a great price point. Thank you.

One of the blankets had a stain but whatever. Kid's didnt care. Staff was excellent, food was amazing and hotel was otherwise clean.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were clean, quiet, and modern. Louise at the front desk was especially helpful and enjoyable to work with. The free breakfasts were wonderful (eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pancakes, bagels, & fresh ground coffee)! Will absolutely stay here again when we visit our son who is in college at CC.

Room was clean and spacious. Had great views of the mountains. Perfect place to stay for downtown, old Colorado city, garden of the gods as well as Manitou.

Only in town for one night for a wedding so we pretty much just slept. The room was clean and comfortable. Staff was helpful at check in and when we called down for additional blankets. Felt safe coming in late after the wedding.

The stay was great but the website needs to tell you the shuttle has to be reserved ahead of time.

We did not eat breakfast, but my husband did taste the gravey and said that we would eat at a resturant. I did enjoy the staff, as they were very friendly.

This is my second stay here in the last 5 months. It's a nice place to stay and the staff has always been helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good and has has something different every day. Hot breakfast options as well as the regular stuff.

Very friendly front desk staff. Such a quick checkin as well. Very, clean, comfortable rooms. The whole hotel is very nice, modern, & clean. Breakfast was good too & even though its just off I 25, conve, it was not as noisy as you would expect. They even offer ear plugs & sound machines but we didnt need them.

The rooms are nice, but the area feels very, very unsafe. Homeless people around the street and no other people. The lady at the front desk was armed though, so that made it safer and disturbing at the same time.

I thought it was a great location being close to the highway that takes you to many of the locations for great vacation spots to see including Pikes Peak and Garden of the God. Of all of the times we have been there, this was the best and easiest location to get around and if we go again, this will be my favorite spot to stay.

We stayed in a spacious 4th-floor room equipped with a dining table and an office desk with a chair. The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions, very clean, offers an excellent breakfast, flexible check-in and check-out times, and plenty of parking. The staff were polite and helpful. Highly recommended.

It was clean, comfortable and had a good breakfast. Also for our trip a great location. I am now planning a return trip and will be booking the same place.

Hotel lobby is spacious & airy. Amenities functioning well(pool, fitness etc). Complimentary breakfast hot & fresh and lot of choices. Staff readily available to replenish the food. Our room is spacious and can be use for handicapped guest. 2 queen bed firm, 4 fluffy pillows each bed. There's a dining table with kitchen console where the microwave & keurig plus refrigerator. The bathroom needs improvement for handicapped guest. Because missing handheld shower, the tub has handrails(good) but the tub should be non skid for safety The room also has desk table and reading area( chair & ottoman. With tv that swivel.

The staff was very professional and welcoming. Room however was a bit of a disappointment. The room had a musty, locker room smell that never really dissipated. Almost like the carpet had been wet for a long time.

Except for the sofa bed, everything else was good.

Room smelled like mildew coming from air conditioner. Mostly thinking of other HI Express when comparing this one. Just didn’t seem to be as fresh in the room. It was largely ok for what we needed. Also couldn’t apply IHG points since we didn’t book through HI. That seems wrong.

The room was very spacious and comfortable for 5 people. However, the pull out couch was not comfortable to sleep on so we ended up putting it back into a couch which worked out. Having two tvs is nice and the cushions can double as tables or chairs which is useful. The breakfast was good and the staff were thoughtful and kind. The huge windows in the room were great!

Not pleased walked into room it smelled of moldy mildew, sheets smelled and felt dirty and to top it off no cinnamon rolls at breakfast. I was at least looking forward to that after barley sleeping

My only disappointment was they are suppose to have fresh cookies in the lobby but they said they didn't get a shipment in. I’m a cookie loving girl, so that was sad lol. I would book again, it felt very safe and clean.

I don’t have any complaints! The staff I encountered were kind and attentive and friendly, breakfast was good, the pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable, and the room was clean and tended to daily. They even sold ice cream at the front desk which was a nice treat.

Best hotel we have stayed at ina long time. Service was superb, bed was great, our room was quiet even though we were close to I25. DeAndre who checked us in was the best. Breakfast was the best we had on our trip.

The property was in a perfect location for our planned activities. A little noisy by the Interstate; however, our room was on opposite side so noise leveled off later in the evening.

Would highly recommend this hotel very clean staff is very personable and had all the answers to our questions for the local venues in the area. I would give it a 10 out of 10, but the mattresses are too hard for me so we’ll give it in 8 1/2.

Though the facility is older, and in a rundown part of the city, the interior of the hotel was clean, updated, and very comfortable to stay. The parking lot was fully lighted at night, and we did not feel at risk at any time. We would not hesitate to stay there again!

First, we loved the manager, who obviously went out of his way to make our stay great. Liked the mountainview room, nice layout and clean. Only 2 problems were to some degree unavoidable - the fire alarm went off at 6 am, which after a late night with family was tough. Caused by a kitchen flareup quickly extinguished, the alarm lasted a good 15 minute for firetrucks to reset. Also the elevator broke with guests inside, but they were quickly rescued. We would stay again, as very close to Bear Creek Senior Living for visitors. I would have preferred booking thru IHG website but Expedia OneKey was a bit better.

Our first room faced the highway so it was very difficult to sleep with the noise. We were moved to a room facing the parking lot but because it was a handicapped room, the sink had no vanity space with very dim lighting. Interesting that this room had a bathtub whereas the first room only a shower. The Dove products in the bathroom were very nice and the breakfast pretty standard for this type of hotel. For the price and only two nights, it was fine (minus the room facing the highway).

Very nice room, breakfest was good. It was quiet. Shower looked cheap, no bar soap of any kind. That's what I use.

Pool and hot tub were very nice, keys never worked to get into the area though so other guests or staff had to let us in. Breakfast was good, good options. Was quiet and view of mountains were great. Ice machine didn’t work and no vending machine as advertised on the signs. Bed was pretty hard for my comfort but the kids liked it. Overall great stay.

Good location, close to everything, including the freeway. Small amount of road noise because we were on the freeway side of the building, but not loud enough to keep us awake at night or intrude on conversations. Breakfast OK except for coffee cups that made the coffee taste like paper. staff friendly, polite and helpful.

There is nothing negative about our stay. The staff was very welcoming and happy to see us arrive. We arrived a few hours early but they were able to check us in early. Breakfast was exceptional. Room was clean and fresh. Loved out stay.

Couldn't sleep due to the noise from the freeway.

The lobby and breakfast was nice. Staff were accommodating and nice. Rooms overall were older and could use some freshening up / updating. Beds were VERY FIRM and uncomfortable! Only other thing were lots of homeless / obvious drug use in the nearby area, was surprised by this. However downtown just a few blocks away had lots of restaurants and was nice. Location was very convenient to tourist things and food. Overall would stay again if beds were more comfortable.
