Quality Inn Colorado Springs South

My wife really liked this place. The rooms were clean and the AC was nice. She did like the variety with Breakfast each day the eggs and Sausage was different(one day was Ham)she liked the yogurt selection and fruit.

The room was great. The staff was excellent. Every day the breakfast changed a little so it was great to have variety. The parking area was safe feeling and spacious. It is close to all the pikes peak and Manitou Springs activities and the garden of the gods. There is shopping and food choices right across the street. I can’t say enough good things especially for the price.

Room was comfortable and clean. Staff friendly. It was a convenient location but did not seem like the safest area. There were a lot of homeless individuals around the property and we heard several gunshots at night.

I chose that property due to the hot tub my granddaughter having dance practice with sore legs after so I promised her hot tub was pretty sad to find out the hot tub wasn’t working

helpful staff, clean room (mine was chilly even with the air being off) king bed comfortable. checking my emails on my phone was not connecting to wifi, laptop was better. traffic was extremely busy & loud (I live in the country and very quiet but overall I would highly recommend this hotel

Close to the base. Took us 10 minutes to get to gate 6. Close to many restaurants and not to far from Manitou Springs.

The only thing that would have made things better would have been to have better signage on the main street. To access the facility you have to turn onto an access road and the sign is only 4 feet tall and the hotel is tucked behind the Carl's Junior. There is a Chili's across the street so that was good. There were also food trucks if you prefer that cuisine. The room was clean and neat. Staff was helpful and courteous. Breakfast was well stocked and tasted good.

Parking there wasn’t very much parking had to park pretty far away from the entrance. The breakfast was OK. Staff was amazing our room. I was hoping for a Mountain View didn’t get a Mountain View. I probably would not stay here again.

The one complaint I have is: we misplaced a pair of glasses and when I called the next day I was told a check with housekeeping would be made and I would receive a phone call indicating whether they had been found or not found. I still have not received that phone call.

The only thing I remember is being in line to check in forever. The hot tub was hot and good, but everything else was just okay and not exceptionally good or bad.

This was our second stay at this location and won't be our last. The staff, both visits, were wonderful-check-in was a breeze and we were able to relax a bit before our event. I was really looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after such a long drive but it was not available. Had I known, I definitely would've looked into another option but my 2 teens had fun in the pool for a little while. Even with the unfortunate miss, we'd absolutely stay here again, and plan to, in the future.

Breakfast was decent. Room or at least people around us were quiet. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable enough. Fresh towels everyday! Would love it if they put caffeinated coffee in room. We never did make a specific request.

We set up two nights and then found a good price and like the locations convenience.

1. They offered a different breakfast menu every day, which kept things interesting. 2. Our room was cleaned daily, and the towels were replaced every day as well. 3. They have washers and dryers available for guests, which is very convenient if you’re traveling light. 4. There is an ice machine and a water refill station on-site. 5. The staff were very accommodating and friendly throughout our stay. 6. There was plenty of parking available, so finding a spot was never an issue. The only problem we encountered was with the key cards. We had to replace them four times because they repeatedly stopped working and the door would not recognize them. Despite that inconvenience, we still enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hotel’s amenities and service.

Kim was awesome and great to deal with she was so friendly and helpful to both me and my son. She made the whole check in process a breeze and was so nice every evening we saw her. This hotel is nice and clean and very central to everything in Colorado Springs. I would def stay here again and recommend to any one.

Brekfast was good and front desk helpful.

Only con was after confirming 3 times to see if they had a pack and play for our stay all 3 times we were told they did. It was one less thing to pack on our tip and really appreciate the hotel having that option. One of the staff when we first arrived and asked for the pack and play said they didn’t have one, and the only thing she could give us was a luggage rack. When asked how was the baby supposed to sleep on that she said on the car seat. We ask if she could ask her Maneger just to double check because we had been told in 3 different times that they did. She refused to look in the back or call anyone and insisted the luggage rack was the only thing she could give us. The solution wasn’t till later after they change staff for the night shift. The new person was a lot more friendly and helpful. She did say she didn’t think they provided that but would check with her manager. The manager verified that they did and where to find it. At the end of the day our baby had a place to sleep and the rest of our trip when well.

The room was clean and quiet, check in was very easy. I was a little worried because of the cheap price, but it was great. Full breakfast in the morning, it was really good and good quality.

Our room was freshened each day which was appreciated. Our only down side for this property is the hot tub was out of order. This was disappointing since we had driven quite a ways and was looking forward to relaxing in the tub.

Safe Parking, Carls Jr open 24 hr , Kind, pleasant staff. Clean facility inside and outside, Exxxxxceeept the Hot Tub, broken and moldy with crime scene tape around it. Something happened? Please fix or remove your advertisement of it.

Hot Tub was out of order

The only thing that disappointed us was that the hot tub was not working during our two day stay. Other than that my wife and I enjoyed our stay very much. The whole property was clean. The room was clean and smelled clean! So my wife and I would definitely give them 4 and 3/4 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐✨ out of 5 Stars!

The power went out a few times. It's a little dated but for the price it wasn't bad. The hot tub was closed which was a bummer. Again for the price we don't have any complaints. Breakfast was good. We even mentioned that it was better than some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed at recently.

The heating/AC unit is very loud. You can hear the highway from the room. I was so exhausted that none of that mattered once I fell asleep. The front desk clerk was not very inviting. She did her job, but didn't seem very pleasant. Maybe it was a bad day for her. The breakfast was way more than expected. That was the upside.

The hotel is a little run down and maintenance needed.

Not great but also not a nightmare. Sofa had some mysterious, crusty stains. Bed linens smelled like old man cologne.

They held a $100 deposit for smoke damage incase you smoke. This was not disclosed. We don’t smoke so it should not be an issue for us. Locals get charged a 250$ deposit. Evidently locals are notorious smokers.

the elevator broke down and hot tub heater went out. they fixed the hot tub but the elevator was not fixed the entire time. food was not the greatest but coffee excellent

If I were to suggest just some extra attention to cleaning high touch areas such as doors, handles. Hot tub was overfilled and created a lot of overflow and putting the jets on would essentially make the water explode out. Other than these fairly minor gripes I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very sweet and common areas were always clean.

Very quiet, clean, secure. It's a bit of a pain if you live in colorado springs you have to pay a $250 deposit 😬 however, that policy is what makes the hotel secure. The young lady working when I checked in (10pm on 12/3) was phenomenal, I think her name waa Alyssa she had lip piercings). She was very patient she was empathetic and I felt that she truly empathized with my situation. She provided EXCELLENT customer service and that is unfortunately uncommon. I'd stay again because of the hospitality.

Noisy from people outside. Exercise room was only accessible via a hard key obtained from office. Pool area was too dark and had a light flashing like a strobe.

The food was fresh and hot, and plenty of variety. It was a full breakfast. The staff were constantly monitoring the food supply. We stayed there 5 days and the room was always clean when we got back at night. The hot tub was warm and very comfortable, and the swimming pool was great. This was one of the best places we have stayed. When we go back to Colorado Springs, we're staying at this Quality Inn

There is a lingering smell. Hotel is dated. Shower is small and felt like I was going to fall through the bottom due to no support. Staff were not overly friendly. Decent price if you just need to lay your head down for a couple hours

Breakfast on Monday was not good...cold and tasteless(eggs and sausage). Local TV not working and the toilet was too low for comfort.

Our room smelled like urine. It was unequivocally disgusting. My children even said it smelled and wanted to sleep in our car instead. Out keys also did not work and the gym was the size of a shoe box.

This is an excellent hotel to stay. It is very clean, has a good daily breakfast with eggs, sausage, muffins, waffles. Nice pool, hot tub and onsite laundry for $2. Has an elevator, so no climbing stairs. Lots of safe parking. Great customer service by all hotel staff. Front desk personnel are very attentive. Loved my stay here. My husband was sent to Colorado hospital and I drove and needed a place to stay. It was a little older but clean and comfy. Good price would stay with the family.

Busy resort, checking in can take long. Rooms are quiet and clean. Bathroom is simple and compact. Ice machines are present, there is a water filter and there is a breakfast from 6:30-9:30am

We checked in and then promptley checked out did not even stay for one night out of the three we had reserved. The hotel and room smelled and had stains evrywhere and the shower pealing off. There where flags hanging from some of the rooms windows which indicates in my mind that there were people living at the hotel. The area does not feel safe, our room overlooked what appeared to be a junk yard and homeless people littered the aurrounding streets.

The people in the room next to us had a bee colony behind the curtain in their room. This was just not up to the standard that I would expect from a Quality Inn.

Took us a minute for GPS to get us to the correct place, odd road. The lady at the front desk did not explain the additional charges at all told me to read a sign and i did not understand after reading and she made a rude comment. Other than that great place to stay!

The pool was a bit cold but ok. The hot tub was hot and relaxing. Our room had a problem with the heater. So they let us switch to another room. No trouble.

The hotel was decent, better than most in colorado springs. Had a good breakfast, always eggs, waffles, cereals, yogurts and a breakfast meat. Has an indoor pool and hot tub, the pool is not heated in any way and it very cold. Rooms were decent, auper cold ac.

Lots of easy, free parking. Close location to Pike's Peak and other tourist attractions. Free breakfast is appreciated, but could use a bit more space for the buffet line and for seating (maybe not an issue if not a holiday). The pool and hot tub are indoors, which makes them a bit unpleasant in my opinion.

Pool and hot tub were great! Breakfast was average. Staff were friendly. Ice machine was opposite side of the hotel as a water fountain, odd. Our room had poor repairs done to it, made it look old and crummy. Not worth the price we paid for a little room for our family of 4.

Property was very dirty, asked about the smell and staff became hostile. Received dirty towels, sheets and floor horribly dirty. Side door did not shut correctly , which leads to the outside, which made us, being 2 females, scared to be in the room.

These guys never clean room before someone comes.. they told i am allowed the cancel the room, since i accepted a new room full of spider web. Better to avoid the cheap hotel..this hotel gives free breakfast..but room, service is terrible. Nt: i was able to cancel my next day with litttle more i stayed in bw western..awesome one

We had a great stay. The young lady at the front desk was super friendly, outgoing & helpful! The room was clean and quite roomy! Breakfast is the usual hotel fare and there's plenty of room for lots of people to eat.

The breakfast was excellent with a ton of options. The ladies were constantly putting out food. The bedding was amazing and so comfortable. They gave me the wrong WiFi password so that was slightly inconvenient but overall the experience was amazing and I’d definitely stay here again.

Bring your own pillows. Pool and hot tub were clean . Staff very nice. Hotel area was not ideal. Although we did not have direct contact with anyone, the homeless population in the area is very high and sometimes directly outside the hotel.

The staff was very nice and helpful, but one person insinuated that the hotel was frequently used for unsavory activities. The curtain was broken in our room and there were a lot of other signs of dilapidation and disrepair. I will not stay here again.

We drove up, we were a little worried at first. Walked in, and it was very nice, clean and the rooms were same. Definitely cpuld be a case of judging a book by its cover. Nice pool and staff was excellent! We would stay again.

The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable. Some things were pretty outdated, like the bathroom, but that didn't effect the quality of the stay. There's no safe in the room. You have to take your items to the front desk and ask them to put it in a safe there which is super inconvenient. The bathtubs are super slippery so be careful. The indoor pool is great and we used it every day. Always clean. The breakfast was the standard continental breakfast, pretty average. The mattresses were comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay.

Overall, the hotel was very comfortable with an excellent customer service. Also, breakfast was hot and delicious providing different alternatives.

Room was disgusting. Smelt moldy/stale almost like dirty feet our luggage that we set on the floor/carpet still smells. Bathroom and shower were nasty and the shower head had black (mold) on the head. AC kept going off and wouldn’t stay on or cool what you set it to. First night our room smelt like pot from either neighbors or someone smoking it outside our room. Key entry had to be finessed to work. Bums all around the perimeter of the place. It did have a fenced in perimeter. Price if paid through them would have been $30 cheaper a night than through Expedia. Staff were nice but overall we picked this because it had a 8/10 rating. It most definitely was not a 8/10. Definitely won’t be back.

We stayed here last year as well. Still a great experience. Staff was super friendly. Room smelled clean when we checked in. Only downside, One of the beds was rock hard, and the room could use a little updating. But over all, I would stay there again no questions.

Pool: Having it indoors was nice, but the water was not very clean during our stay. The water wasn't clear enough for my kids to see their dive toys and there was a giant clump of hair floating around. Breakfast: This was good. The selection was nice, and the food tasted good. A larger assortment of fresh fruit would be nice. There were mostly apples, and the banana went quickly. Room cleanliness: This was decent. Not amazing, but decent. The only main issue was we used the sofa bed, and there were crumbs in it that we needed to brush away. Smoking: This is a smoke-free hotel. However, a lot of the clientele seemed to be smokers. It wasn't ever an issue except by the pool. The sliding doors opened to the patio area, and some guests were smoking on the patio. The problem is that the patio is too small for it to be a smoking area, so the indoor pool area started to smell like cigarettes. Staff: Every staff member was amazing. Very kind and helpful. Can’t say enough about them. Location: This hotel is located near the freeway and is close to many things. However, the only entrance to the parking lot is in a very difficult place to access. There is a tiny sign next to a Carls Jr that is the only access point. It was confusing to find and traffic patterns made it hard to access the main road.

The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was actually quite good, better than some other hotels we stayed in this trip. The staff was helpful and kind. The area around the hotel was ok and access was relatively easy.

It seemed that the breakfast people put food away very quickly. This meant one person in our party did not get to eat.

We stayed for 2 nights and were very satisfied with the hotel. Also the staff was friendly and helpful because after an issue with the room they were quick to move us to another room without any issues.

The property inside was good but the outside was not. The breakfast was good. The room was good. Its in a kinda bad areas. There were several homeless in the hotel parking lot and digging through the garbage. We stayed 3 nights and it was centrally located and we had no issues.

Not that great of an area (part of town) . Be prepared to see quite a few homeless walking around and sitting outside. But the hotel itself was good for the price.

My family recently stayed two nights at this hotel. The front desk staff were very courteous and the check in and out process was seamless. However there were a few minor issues we encountered. There were multiple brown stains on the bedding of one bed and a couple of small stains on the other. The shower and sink also hairs in them. The curtain to the window was broken, so the sun shined directly on our faces each morning shortly after 5am. The TV also cut out every couple of minutes as well. The location was good though, and they offered a decent breakfast.
