The pillows… It is not what is advertised online. Apparently they have been a Travelodge for over a year and the signs have not been changed and still says LaQuinta, no free breakfast at all as advertised and only had coffee which was not even drinkable, elevators were out, smelled musky and old. It was not what worth what the price is at all.

Nothing I did not like walking in and smelling marijuana. I did not like 30% ceiling tiles missing and water dripping into a bucket. I did not like going into my room to find no sheets, etc. I went to the desk and let the young lady know and and she handed me a set of sheets! I did not like having to make my own bed when I had paid for three nights. We only stayed one night, although 3 were paid for because the manager was not there the first night to cancel our reservations. We still haven't been refunded for the two nights. We had to go pay for a decent hotel for the next two nights. We used a third party to book and I have let them know the condition of his property so they will not recommend it. To say I was disappointed would be an extreme understatement.

Is not habitable. Roaches crawling on the floors. Swimming pool was black water with moss growing. Holes in the walls. Window covering falling off window. Smoke ridden. Elevator broken. Refused to stay at facility. Still waiting on refund. Prepaid thru Hotels.com. Do not stay here. This place should be closed by the city. A complaint to the city will be done on first business day.

Booking.com should be ashamed to have this hotel associated with their company. I would highly recommend looking for another place to stay unless you like sleeping with bugs, showering in filthy shower and no ac in the room. Also, this is not a smoke free hotel

Staff was nice and attentive. That was the only good thing about the property. First I was given a room someone was already in, elevator did not work, ice machines did not work, my room had to be pushed hard to open, room door had to be closed hard, room door did not lock, killed one roach and other bugs, and tv remote had no battery cover. I guess you get what you pay for.

First this isnt travel lodge it’s Laquinta which use to be decent. Elevator broken, sockets not working, one light bub in room was blown, no iron.

The entire hotel had leaky ceiling and smelled like mold, wet dogs, and weed smoke. There were holes in the hallway windows. There were several roaches in the stairwells. The door to our room was broken so we had to bump it with our shoulder to force it open. It was dingy and dirty everywhere. We would not have stayed, but it was late and we were exhausted so we slept on top of the covers with our travel clothes still on. I thought about a shower in the morning, but I turned on the tub which had rust all in it and was visibly dirty (there was still hair from another guest in it) THE WATER CAME OUT BLACK. Based on deceptive pictures and a professional-sounding name, coupled with the fact that I went through a reputable site like booking.com, I thought I was just getting a great deal. I see now that i was duped. We did not stay the second night and got other accommodations. We will never use or recommend booking.com nor this hotel chain again.

Room did not have cups/glasses, coffee, adequate towels, tv did not work initially, roach on the counter. Sep 14 there was a loud fight - lots of shouting - in the hallway around 2:00am and banging noises in the room near me, was afraid to leave in the morning. Stairwell doors were all propped open - seems like a fire code violation. Was afraid the elevator would stop working due to the loud noises it made. No sign on the building indicating it was a Travelodge.
- 1/5
Wanda at front desk was wonderful, and the only redeeming factor, but the good ended there. Filthy carpet in walls. Reels of pot in the halls so badly, that my wife got dizzy just walking to the car. Hallway ceiling had several spots with damaged/missing tiles and water dripping into buckets. Room had no trash can, only 2 towels, wet and filthy carpet, noisy AC, missing light bulbs and broken fixtures, a couple of small roaches seen, fridge not working and smelly, no coffee supplies, no soap or shampoo, door lock kept failing, Damage to ceiling by cloths rack, slippery bath mat in tub - dangerous, Entries to building not secure - no latches on one of them at least. Vagrants all over the property. People selling cars from parking lot, pool totally trashed and has been since before Covid.Fence around it is knocked down and poses a serious safety hazard. Bottom line - this place should be condemned. We will not stay here again. .
- 2/5
The hotel is pretty run down. Some paint peeled off the ceiling in my room and the extractor was about to fall off. The beds were comfy enough but dont look like the ones in the picture. Its ok if you need a place to sleep
- 1/5
Bed improperly made, tub was filthy, bathroom fan falling out, no trash can, one wash cloth and two towels, no hand soap or shampoo, carpet in room and hall was sticky, one ice machine located on third floor, pool not useable, bedside lamp broken lose from support, some spilt substance on shelf, insect in room.

This hotel was terrible. People screaming all night, people up stairs we dancing in there room all night, staff was very rude, the maintenance guy was terrible and cursed at us. I will never stay at this place again.

This is a Laquinta hotel with Travel lodge Billing. Too many issues to mention.
- 1/5
This place waa horrible. They didn't have my reservation! And no rooms were available. And i showed them my confirmation email. Terrible experience after a long day of travel. Luckily i found a different hotel with a room!
- 4/5
Ok stay
- 3/5
Room was not the best. The bed had a spring stringing out and the refrigerator did not work. The ice maker did not work and the location advertised breakfast but did not have any. The elevator was stuck and the alarm was going off. The hotel did not display the correct name on it. It was advertised as Travelodge but it showed LaQuinta Inn.
- 2/5
The lock on the door barely worked, and you had to slam it in order to open or close it, there was no shampoo in my room on the first night, there is a blood stain on the sheet, several times I had to wait for the front desk staff because they were busy in the back, or completely unavailable, there was screaming on the floor (domestic disturbance?), my toilet didn’t flush properly unless you held it down for a while, and my friend in 226 had to use my shower because hers was completely broken.
- 1/5
The property had roaches in room.was afraid to go to sleep and watch make sure nothing get in luggages.Im complain to general manager.I want my money back...

Looks terrible smell terrible seems terrible not safe to stay
- 1/5
Did not stay room was dirty. Barry was shady. I need a refund of $94.
- 1/5
The property is not well lit in front of the entrance so coming in after my shift that night did not feel welcoming. The front desk staff was nice and check in went fine. Once I stepped onto my floor it reeked of stale cigarettes. Once I got to my room the door wasn’t easy to open I had to push with my shoulder just to get inside. The floor looked as though it had not been vacuumed with trash still on the floor including a cat treat bag. The remote was disgusting to touch it had gunk in it like it had never been wiped down ever. The shower had no shower curtain which I’ve never came across in any hotel anywhere if there was no door. Because it was so late I did stay the night but I could absolutely not finish this stay. This was the absolute worst hotel experience I have ever had. I wish I could give zero stars.
- 1/5
The room was very musty. The TV didn't work. No phone in the rooms. The sheets were very dirty with blood stains.(see photos).Had to go downstairs for room service. Went downstairs to inquiry about the TV not working and the filthy bedding. Response was oh im sorry we have no maintenance ppl. So i asked for another room. Response was we have no more rooms available. Staff and residents were in the lobby smoking. I can go on and on about this hotel. When i booked online it said this was a LaQuinta , but when i got there is was a Travelodge. Horrible place to stay .
- 1/5
The worse stay at any La Quinta I've ever stayed at. Poor conditions, no breakfast, no door lock, bathtub dirty, and they also had people seated front door smoking. Staff had friends visiting which made it hard to ask for assistance. Will never stay there again.

Not a good spot
- 1/5
My stay was horrible, and I left after staying the first night! Blankets were dirty, the room smelled of mold/ smoke,l and there were roaches. The toilet leaked from the back onto the floor every time it was flush, and tub would back up with water when I showered.
- 1/5
Bad neighborhood, entire property in poor condition, old, smelly interior, rooms not in shape to stay even a few minutes. Left without checking in. Asked front counter person where the next La Quenta was in town, she replied, "If there is another one in town, I don't know where it is".
- 2/5
Light bulbs in room not working or missing, ceiling in the room had paint/coating hanging down, toilet was clogged and they couldn't find a plunger (had to find a stick outside to clear it), the smell of pot was overwhelming at times, only 1 ice machine was working and second one was still broken since our last trip in March. Carpet in room was dirty. Pool has not been open since Covid. Final straw was the used condom on the ground at the front door. The area is sort of an enigma. It's an older area with lots of businesses nearby, but this block seems to have a fair number of homeless on and off. Some seem to hang out around the parking lot perimeter at times. On the good side, the front desk lady who tried to help us, (Monica, I think) was very nice, friendly and tried to take care of us as best she could. Housekeeping staff seemed nice as well. Bed was comfortable and the TV worked well.

This place is old and rundown. It needs a total renovation.
- 1/5
Wyndham and La Quinta need to take their names off this place it is embarrassment to both their brands! The air conditioner was dislodged from the wall we could see the outside. The fridge, micro and light were plugged into a surge protector that didn’t work as did several of the lights in the room. We battled bugs the whole time. Rust in tub. Filthy! So much for breakfast the first day - employee telling everyone owners didn’t order it then proceeded to pour out laundry in food area. I will be calling both corporate offices of Wyndham and La Quinta to complain.
- 1/5
Worst place Bathroom had a leak in the sink, no pool, AC did not work and no room service. For breakfast they had only coffee.
- 1/5
Not safe due to lots of robbery and prostitution
- 2/5
This hotel was close to restaurants and shopping but boy was it run down. We walked up to the front doors upon arriving and the doors were broke. With a big concrete trash bin blocking half the entrance. Lobby was dirty and beat up. Had a dining area but never seen anything being served in there. The hallways were dirty and smelly. The elevator was beat to hell. Our rooms were ok. Bathrooms had rust all around anything that water touched. Wasnt very happy with the stay here but the price wasnt bad. You get what you pay for i guess.
- 3/5
The shower curtain was nasty and the hotel needs a renovation! Room could have been cleaned better
- 1/5
The property outside and inside were dirty, the Continental breakfast was nasty black coffee, and powder creamer, and 6 slices of bread displayed to toast in a dirty toaster for all hotel customers I had reserved a room on Expedia for a week believing that I was going to get the room in the website only to be disappointed and upset. I stood 1 night out of necessity but the next morning I checked out. Couldn't get out of that hotel soon enough. La Quinta in Columbus GA out of exit 7A or 7B don't remember the exit well I guess I want to forget that experience DO NOT STAY.
- 4/5
Hole in wall, some lamps did not work, phone did not work, hallways smelled like smoke.
- 3/5
The people who worked there tried to keep up with everything. I reported a problem and they a=can only pass it on to the owners.
- 2/5
This hotel looks like nothing on the pictures provided here on Expedia. Please update. The hotel smells terrible even on non emailing rooms
- 3/5
Outdated smells no towels in the room then told they were out of bath towels hair dryer broken
- 1/5
Drove 8 hours to show up at a hotel but was sketchy at best smelled of marijuana walked in wallpaper peeling off of the walls filthy filthy.
- 1/5
Was unable to use the Internet. Hotel staff acted like they didn’t care. Also was charged a $50 deposit I knew nothing about until i checked in
- 1/5
Honestly, when I got there I was glad it was canceled. From the looks of the lobby, it wasn't somewhere I would be comfortable staying. The outside of the building is very dirty. The lobby doesn't look like its been properly cleaned in years. So i can just imagine what the rooms looks like. I believe its more of a transient hotel. Where less fortunate people live. Would not recommend for vacation/travel.
- 1/5
Dirty, bad condition
- 1/5
Sheets had holes. Bathroom fan was coming out of the ceiling door wouldn’t shut all the way and there was no key required entry so anyone could come in. The pictures are lies. Please do not stay here.
- 3/5
Definitely needs updating
- 1/5
Horrible
- 2/5
Average property/facility. Room smelled musty and likely was previously smoked in. Bathtub drained but not fully and had standing water over night which is likely contributing to the musty/moldy situation in the room. Carpet was also damp and not very clean. Breakfast was continental and very minimal selection.
- 1/5
during check in was told a different price. was not told that the taxes was added already. gave my aarp card the person behind desk told me that he ran a copy of my card in case there was a problem with my aarp card that said it was good until 2026. person checking behind counter answered his cell phone twice during.check in smallest bathroom ever at a LaQuinta. did not even try to eat breakfast.during check in person at desk had to stop to have conversation with his mother twice who stays there in upper room
- 3/5
Expedia showed as breakfast included and pool view when I booked. But there was no breakfast or pool view room.
- 5/5
easy checking in and out
- 5/5
A little kid but not their fault. Overall, great stay. But they don’t really have breakfast like they promoted.
- 1/5
Crew stayed here one night and refused to return due to the filth.
- 1/5
The place was a dump. No breakfast no towels dirty horrible three nights.
- 2/5
There was black mold around soap holder in the tub as well as a film that was a darker color white which means they do not actually clean the tub but rather rinse it out instead. The toilet lid was very noisy and made of plastic and the attachment part behind the seat was also not locked into place
- 1/5
Room had very strong smell of tobacco for a non-smoking room. We had to open the window which looked out on their dumpster. That didn't help very much. Room was well worn , bathtub water could not be shut off completely, bathroom door scratched badly as if an animal (dog?) was trying to get out. Board of health in Columbus should inspect! Cannot believe this is a Wyndham property! We ended up there as it was the only place available in Columbus GA on Feb. 1st,2nd and 3rd. We were there for a ceremony at Ft. Moore. .
- 1/5
Property condition was rundown and dirty. The room smelled like smoke (it was a non-smoking room) and there was a cat in the room left by the previous guest. Just plain scary. I checked out after one night after I found another hotel.
- 5/5
I have no complaints. I slept like a log.
- 1/5
Staff so friendly. No breakfast because they were out of supplies..Cockroaches everywhere No recommended ! !
- 1/5
When we arrived the whole place stunk, unclean, waited 5 minutes at the desk while the receptionist stayed on her cell phone having a conversation. Needless to say we cancelled the booking and found another hotel.
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful very kind. But we had some issues with our room. Very outdated and really needs an upgrade for a Whyndam was rather dissapointed. We had exposed electrical outlets which when ya plugged in cell phone and moved the wires the lamp went off. Batt counter sink plug would not keep cord in and kept tripping. We also had a hole in the wall by one bed. Carpet had what looked like gum on it needed cleaning and relayed in spots.
- 1/5
This hotel should not even be allowed to accept reservations.
- 1/5
Air conditioning was too loud cannot check me in according to staff they cannot find my reservation they also have a dirty bathroom and the picture posted in website is totally not what the place looks. I took pictures of the room they gave us.
- 1/5
Bugs in room, stains on sheets, hairs on sheets.
- 1/5
Our shower did not work. And there was no light in the room
- 1/5
I don’t wanna stay here. There’s roaches. I would like a refund
- 1/5
Inside the the hallways and walls were scratched up and the ceiling was leaking into a bucket. The door kept sticking making it hard to close and the bathroom had a few roaches. We won’t be staying here ever.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, assisted me with a earlier check-in. Room was very clean and there was little foot traffic and quite location.
- 1/5
The toilet had overflowed was not working we had nowhere to go as no more rooms were available. Very upset no refund from the hotel said Hotels.com! So herr I am asking for my money back
- 1/5
Hotel did not match pictures advertised online, hotel room and mattress had human bodily fluids on them.
- 1/5
This establishement should be shut down
- 1/5
Other than that it was ok except you could hear thru the walls.
- 2/5
The staff was friendly but the property was poor looking the rooms was not up to dated one of the bed coveing had red spots on it. The shade did not go all the way down which allowed the morning light to enter the room.
- 3/5
When I entered the hotel I was greeted by someone in their night clothes asking if I needed to check in. Then they say the have free breakfast, but it was only cereal with milk that was one day from being spoiled.
- 2/5
Booking and check in was standard. Hotel is dingy and in poor repair. Complimentary breakfast was cereal on Friday, nothing on Saturday, and Sunday was cereal, bread for toast, and hostess mini muffins ( and somewhat palatable coffee). The room was clean but missing the smoke detector. The bathroom toilet was clogged upon arrival and I was issued a plunger upon speaking with the front desk. I actually had to go to the fr nt desk because the phone in the room was inoperable. The most unfortunate part of the stay was seeing roaches in the lobby/ breakfast area Sunday morning and another crawled out of my luggage the morning we were leaving.
- 3/5
Great location for my needs, however, the property itself was old and warned out (especially the carpeting). Staff was very professional and courteous.
- 1/5
This Hotel would have gotten a bad rating as a 1 star much less as a LaQuinta. I can't fault the staff they were polite and professional but there really is no excuse for LaQuinta to allow a hotel even a franchised hotel to be in this run down condition. The majority of the ceiling was falling down from apparent water damage. Holes in the walls. Rusted fixtures. Broken plug in plates. Horrible water pressure and the shower nozzle was way off center. Missing ceiling panels in hallways with exposed wires and cables in plain sight. In addition, the bulk of the hotel smelled of pot. We had booked two nights but left after one sure expect someone to refund that one night.
- 2/5
Each time we came into the lobby, there was people just sitting around. At one point there was someone seating in the corner and you could not see them. The lobby also smell like weed. The ref/mico started making a lot noise and on the second night we could not sleep because of the noise. We decide to put place heavy items on top of it and the noise tone down some. Told the young lady when I check out and she seem so nonchalant about it. The bad thing is I paid for another person room to stay there. Will not go back to the hotel again. And will not recommend it to any one.
- 1/5
Terrible odor, bathroom door was falling apart, sheets were spotted, hallway carpet was dirty. We weren't able to stay, hopefully we'll get a refund. The young lady at check in was awesome, so very nice and understanding. She deserves a raise.
- 2/5
The Elevator wasn't working. Some of the doors wasn't working. Could have a better breakfast setup.
- 1/5
Bugs in the room.
- 3/5
The staff was great.
- 1/5
Elevator was out of order. There were roaches crawling on the wall. The furniture was filthy and old and needs to be replaced. The entire hotel needs to be renovated.
- 1/5
The building is old and smells. The carpets and furniture are disgusting. There were roaches crawling on the walls. The staff lingering around were sketchy. It did not feel safe or clean at all.
- 1/5
The door to the room would not lock. Safety was definitely an issue.
- 2/5
Friendly staff
- 1/5
The staff, very unprofessional. Maager made me wait 15 minutes while she was outside talking to someone. Their were 2 or 3 people hanging arround the car port during check in. Felt uneasy. When i told the manager i wanted a refund because there were bugs that jumped on me as soon as i entered the room, she told me it was too late to cancel the room and i got charged a cancelation fee of 92.00. The hallway smelled like gym class and my room was in poor condition. I dont know how La Quinta Corperate could endorse such a deplorable motel. I have never exsperienced a Laquinta of such low caliber. When i stayed at La quinta North in Columbus Ga. Quite the opposite. Very clean and professional. That motel is a franchise. The manager told me about others who likewise complainted about the Columbus soth location.
- 1/5
Entered and first thing that greeted me was a roach on the bed . I have pictures and all . Wish I could uploaded them
- 2/5
Staff amazing. Cockroaches in bathrooms and hallways. Old furniture in lobby. Urine smell in hallway.
- 5/5
I would stay here again.
- 1/5
This place needs a whole lot of reservation. The paint on the wall is peeling, the toilet barely flushed and the hot water is not working. In addition, the pool is full of mold, it seems like it hasn’t been cleaned in months. The elevator shakes and makes noises like as if it’s going to break. The carpet in our room was moist and there’s one small trashcan under the sink. This place is not what it looks like on the pictures online so please don’t waste your money.
- 2/5
Hotel has roaches. Lots of roaches. It was very dated and in much need of renovations. Bed sheets were very thin and everything in the room is really showing it's age. Wall was all dinged up behind the chair, microwave corner broken, bottom of TV stand rotting. This was not what we have experienced at other visits to La Quinta. On the other hand, staff was friendly and were cleaning the property. We did not try the breakfast because the roaches in the room grossed me out. If that is what the room looks like, what does the kitchen look like?
- 1/5
It was filthy, it looked neat, but was filthy!! This is unlike any other LaQuinta I have stayed at.
- 1/5
This stay was terrible. First toilet didn't flush, ok I can deal with that. Next, the swing lock was about busted completely out, we had to hip check the door to get it to latch. Then we woke up to find cockroaches. No hot breakfast, who wants to eat here anyway at this point. We switched rooms because maintenance couldn't fix the toilet. Ok cool got to the new room again the swing lock was broken but the door shut so I was good with that. Then my kids went to take our dogs out and weren't allowed back into the building because the police had the place surrounded. So here I am looking at my kids through the window while being on lockdown. Once I was allowed to leave our room we grabbed our stuff and checked out. There isn't a good place to walk dogs, only an area of rocks with broken glass and beer cans everywhere. I don't really know why this place is still running. My son found a TikTok from the night we left and this fellows truck was broken into. It is not safe for anyone. Never again will I stay anywhere near this roach infested, dangerous "hotel".
- 1/5
Gross property, no pool, no breakfast
- 1/5
The front desk lady was incompetent. It took over 45 minutes for her to check me into a decently clean unoccupied room. she first tried the same room 3x & the wouldn’t work at all. Not sure if someone was occupying the room or nor. It was a horrible experience: never would go back. The staff makes the place unbearable
- 1/5
The hotel is completely outdated, hallways have no air conditioning, the smell of weed and cigarettes is everywhere, there were bloodstains on the towels in our room, and there were cockroaches. The condition of this hotel for the price they charge is completely unacceptable. Do not stay here!
- 1/5
Had roaches in the room. Checked out early
- 2/5
It is a basic lower level motel. Cigarette smoke smell came through the room regularly, ceiling tiles were wide open and exposed through main hallway, only granola bar/cereal/bread to toast for breakfast options... kind of expected, but hoping it was in a little bit better condition overall.
- 1/5
We arrived at 10:45pm and were told by staff there was no room available for us. This was a guaranteed reservation!!!
