Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its central location in Coral Gables, close to dining and shopping options. Guests appreciate the cleanliness and vintage charm of the hotel, as well as the friendly staff. However, common complaints include the lack of an elevator, noisy air conditioning units, and parking difficulties. Some guests also mention issues with the shower and old furniture.

Very small shower, so small you are forced to wash your hair daily.

Quaint, boutique hotel in Coral Gables. I will definitely book again. Although there is no dedicated parking, street parking was not an issue.
- 4/5
For the price it is a nice spot. Good location and very clean. I didn’t like that you can’t call the front desk directly but the gentleman that greeted us was very nice.
- 5/5
Great location, staff and service!
- 5/5
Very quaint, quiet little hotel only a short walk away from Miracle Mile. Excellent location. The rooms are basic but very clean and have some local character. The beds are firm but comfy. Great A/C. All around good experience and you cannot beat it for the price!

It is a small vintage property, but It is a great value proposition. Centrally located in the heart of Coral Gables, pristine clean with comfortable beds, hot water and silent air conditioning. TV, small refrigerator and coffee in room.
- 4/5
Très bien, propre et bien situé.
- 5/5
both are good
- 4/5
The location is fabulous. This time we walked a few more blocks to the downtown area & ate dinner at a fabulous authentic pizza restaurant. Don't be shy walk passed the Target 🎯 & find the amazing restaurant area !! Definitely loved this hotel , & parking is easy safe on the street & free !!✌️
- 5/5
Hotel does not provide parking though I had no issues finding one on a side street. This is a nice, affordable, clean and friendly hotel
- 4/5
Quirky. Eclectic. Walking distance to downtown restaurants, museums and shopping.
- 5/5
It was a delightful experience. The room was tastefully decoratedand offered a beauriful view. It was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we need to be comfortable, including a refrigerator and microwave. Thank you for the warm welcome JORGE , you greeted us with all the necessary information and placed all your services and resources at our disposal , wich made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is strategic and the hotel is super chic. We will be back soon
- 5/5
Great stay

Yes
- 5/5
Quiet and relaxed — no frills but everything one would need to be comfortable. Neat and very clean — attentive, friendly staff. Pay-by-phone parking available but spaces are limited.
- 5/5
For a weekend stay it was great. Target store is 1 block away if u need anything. The room was nice, clean, cozy. Staff very professional..The only downfall is there is no elevator and there were no small towels to take a bath, therefore u had to use large towels.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and great location!
- 5/5
The hotel is older but sweet. Staff was helpful and the location is great- walkable and a very quick cheap trip from airport!
- 5/5
Was clean and nice and chilled.
- 5/5
Some things to be aware of. - There is no elevator, but the front desk staff offered help with my luggage. - Street parking in front of the building is paid, but free from midnight to 9:00 AM. Free parking is available around the block on Zamora St. Overall, this is a great value given the location, the staff was kind and helpful, and I really enjoyed the general atmosphere and aesthetic of this place.
- 4/5
Good location. Will stay again.
- 4/5
Great location and very friendly employees. I would return.
- 2/5
We requested the hotel to do an incident report and they refused. A very bad experience, we’re still suffering from it.
- 5/5
Room was clean, Staff were friendly.
- 4/5
Good location for night life, shopping and dinning
- 4/5
Good air conditioner and clean. Parking on the street on the side of hotel was free. Low water pressure.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 5/5
My second time staying and I absolutely love it.
- 5/5
a lot of option of food in the area
- 4/5
The only reason I dont give this property 5 stars is because of no elevator. Book this quickly. No way they can keep these rates for long!
- 5/5
The hotel may be vintage but that was it's charm. The room was updated and modern. A most enjoyable three-night stay.
- 5/5
Convenient location
- 5/5
Just know it's an older hotel with a real key - you can kind of hear what's going on in the hotel really easily; otherwise, it's great.
- 5/5
It was clean and staff were friendly
- 5/5
Cool, historic hotel; prices were affordable.
- 4/5
What a cute vintage type hotel! Clean, comfortable, and convenient. No elevators or amenities but perfect for a quick one night stay. Can’t beat the price!
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
All good
- 3/5
That being said: the staff did their best with what they had to make the rooms welcoming. Mattresses and Sheets are comfortable, towels are plenty, Also, it seems to be one of a few hotels at this price.
- 5/5
Great place to stay and location
- 5/5
Room was up to standards. We got free parking with no issues. Had a great stay. The room was super cold which was great.
- 4/5
Good option. Good price. Nice area
- 4/5
No elevator. Clean room.
- 4/5
Street parking. clean room. helpful staff. nicely laid out
- 5/5
Yes, The Ac was working good
- 5/5
Great location in Coral Gables. On street parking is expensive.
- 3/5
It’s old looking hotel. The guy when we arrived was very old. Not nice at all. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs. No elevator. The shower floor was old looked dirty. The two beds were full size and not nice to sleep on. Uncomfortable. The Latin women on the next day was a angel very sweet nice and helpful. Will I return probably not.
- 5/5
Hidden gem. My go to simple boutique hotel in the area
- 4/5
The only inconveniences were the small shower and a bed that felt a bit cramped for two. Nonetheless, I would happily stay there again!
- 4/5
Cute hotel, near nice area. Smelled amazing!!! Just beware there is no elevator and we were on 3rd floor. Clean and cute.
- 4/5
Staff is very friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
On the street. Secure area
- 5/5
Perfect
- 4/5
Nice older hotel. It almost feels like you’re in a little mini apartments versus a hotel room. If you’re not looking for five star accommodations, but you want something nice and quaint, this is your place.
- 5/5
The room was very comfortable and the zone is georgeus
- 5/5
Nice property with a historic feel in Coral Gables. There were nice little amenities like electrical outlets added to the historic looking wooden night tables. Convenient to the airport.
- 5/5
Check in was easy and the room was clean.
- 5/5
Amables, perfecta ubicación, lindo
- 5/5
Clean. Staff 🔥.
- 1/5
When I first arrived, I immediately noticed issues with the room. The sink faucet was broken and barely attached, and the sink itself clogged almost instantly after turning the water on. Throughout the night, the air conditioner stopped working, and on top of that, the door kept rattling and making a loud, unusual noise whenever the AC was running, making it difficult to sleep. The most concerning part of my stay happened the next morning. When I tried to leave my room, I found a ladder placed directly in front of my door, along with a large, loud hose running up it. I was essentially blocked in. I called out multiple times for assistance, but no one came. I ultimately had to squeeze past the obstruction myself, which resulted in my clothing getting dirty. When I brought these issues to the front desk, I felt completely dismissed. My concerns were not taken seriously, and I was simply told they would be passed along, without any real acknowledgment or effort to address what had happened. This experience fell far below expectations, both in terms of room maintenance and customer service. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and makes improvements so future guests do not have a similar experience.
- 4/5
Absolutely no water pressure in the shower! Great location.
- 4/5
Adequate
- 5/5
Fantastic staff, great location, and lovely hotel
- 5/5
Lovely a little hotel in walking distance everything. Perhaps a little old-fashioned but I like that. No food but restaurants are nearby. Parking was on the street but that was perfectly okay.
- 5/5
No elevator very old building room was very clean for older building think bed and breakfast type of building. Target nearby for snacks
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
It is a very pleasant historic place dating back to the 1920's with photos and newspaper clipping on the walls. The building and rooms are well kept and clean. Staff were kindly and helpful. While no car parking is provided, on the street parking on side streets is free and seemed safe. Only criticism I have is that there was a lack of hot water in the shower and bathroom sink. Otherwise a great experience and excellent location.
- 5/5
There is meter parking in front on the street, but the gentleman who checked us in told us the side streets are free parking and we had no trouble at all finding a close spot, even after we got back from the symphony later on in the evening. It was perfect!
- 5/5
Nice staff and clean room. Also convenient location.
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable, yet there was no blanket! A throw blanket placed on the bed as a decoration had to fit the bill. The wardrobe was old and refinished. However, the doors didn’t stay closed, so they would swing out into the room unexpectedly. But I was able to fix it so it would stay closed during my stay. The bathroom had been updated and nicely appointed, but was fitted with. 2’ x 2’ shower, with a small shower head coming straight down from the ceiling. No way to get out of the path of the water to lather up, and the faucet handle was the kind you pulled up and turned to adjust the temp and flow. This not only reduced the area in the shower, but was easy to hit while showering, creating a sudden change in water temperature and/or flow. The shower curtain was plastic, and the convection currents caused it to move into the shower area. Some magnetic weights at the bottom of it would be useful to keep that from occurring. The bathroom was also slightly elevated by about 4 inches, creating a trip hazard. After tripping twice, I placed a pillow on the threshold to remind me to watch my step. All that aside, I would stay there again, should I need to stay in the area.
- 3/5
The room's air conditioning system is very noisy. If you're a light sleeper, think twice before booking this room. Also, when you open the window, you might see a large wall. Don't worry, it's just a wall.
- 5/5
Staff was great. Not having an elevator was a pain but I missed that detail
- 5/5
Clean rooms no elevator
- 5/5
Clean and cute, it’s a historic building that has been well preserved. The beds were comfy and the blankets soft. No issue with parking, there’s free parking on the side street. Very well located, we were able to walk most places plus there’s a free trolly. It was a nice surprise! We booked this place on a whim and it was way better than expected!!
- 5/5
I loved this hotel! It is charming and has been around for a very long time, maybe even historic. As a result, there are not amenities that you would get at a new hotel. I still enjoyed it, and will stay there again when I return to Coral Gables in November. It is reasonably priced, very clean, wonderful staff, fantastic location, and quaint. I recommend it!
- 4/5
Nice cozy place to stay at, in Coral Gables.
- 5/5
Clean Room, staff
- 4/5
No kitchen, no tissues. Clean room. Well located
- 1/5
Room VERY basic and definitely not worth what I paid (almost $200 for 1 night). Very old, needs updating badly. Third floor room and NO ELEVATOR-unacceptable. Hot water was warm, not hot. No kleenex in the bathroom. Would never stay here again.
- 5/5
Absolutely my favorite place to stay in Miami and one of my favorite hotels anywhere. It’s the 1923 building, the cost, the area, and the low stress check in and check out. It helps if you speak a bit of Spanish but not completely needed. I will always stay here when I’m in Miami!
- 4/5
The building it self is beautiful and the location by far is it best asset of this hotel ... Safe neighborhood close to restaurants, shop
- 3/5
The room & hotel , in general, while clean is very tired and in need of paint, repair of nicks & marks on walls & furniture. I had hopes of a retro vibe of old Miami, but found it lacking. The hotel provided just a room with little in amenities & ambiance.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
all it was perfect
- 4/5
Great location
- 4/5
Old hotel but well maintained
- 2/5
No parking. No elevator. No food. Steep staircase to carry heavy luggage up with which we received no help. Very limited English spoken to ask questions. Run down room which felt like a small room in a roadside inn.
- 5/5
I loved it very nice and clean
- 3/5
The room was ok for a boutique, older hotel. There was no parking at all but street parking. The desk staff spoke little or no English. The housekeeping staff closed the door in my face when I tried to get a second garbage bag.
- 4/5
Clean, small basic amenities, no elevator. But they will help you with luggage
- 5/5
While it is an older hotel, it was spotless and well maintained. It had character and was quite quaint.
- 1/5
Room smells mold and staff was not helpful
- 4/5
Our one issue with the place is the parking situation. If you're lucky, you can nab a spot directly in front of the hotel, but be aware: you have to pay for parking online. We were not told this by the front desk, and being out of towners, we ended up with a $36 ticket!..Ugh The hotel could be a little more informative about this.
- 4/5
The place was great for a short stay, mainly for the convenient location.
- 4/5
Water was cold so couldn’t take a shower, but other than that it was clean.
- 3/5
I'll be honest, it seemed a little sketchy when I walked in. But the room was fine. It hand a VERY loud window mounted air conditioning unit, but I was so tired it didn't matter. Parking here wasn't super easy either. Had to park quite a ways away. If you're traveling for work and need a cheap place to stay, this would be fine. I would not stay here with a family.
- 5/5
The room was clean and the staff was nice. We had a short visit but no complaints.
- 5/5
Basic but clean & well-priced in a very expensive city! There is no elevator- so beware
- 3/5
Front desk quick and easy. No elevators. Room clean except for the mold on the shower floor.
- 2/5
We wanted to love this place, but will not be staying again.
- 2/5
The staff were nice but overall, I would not stay there again.
- 4/5
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet and the staff were very courteous. There is a huge restaurant row a few blocks away where you can get just about any kind of food imaginable. The location is excellent.
- 3/5
Nice and friendly staff but unfortunately we didn't have hot water to shower in a cold morning. Very expensive without giving much in return . Nice location
- 5/5
Mauri and Jorge
- 5/5
The Staff was very kind
- 3/5
Good location. Just a small room. Suited our needs for one night.
- 2/5
Shower amenities were very poor. Bathroom floor got wet so we cleaned it with the shower towel mat. The mat came away almost black with dirt. Mattresses need replaced. TV channels were great. Good location. Great price.
- 4/5
I was pleasantly surprised how nice, clean and comfortable this boutique hotel turned out. My flights were canceled and wished I had stayed here during my whole cancelation visit (3 nights) in Miami. Jorge at the front desk was happy, kind and helpful. The night clerk was as well. If I ever have the event to stay again I will.
- 3/5
The only complaint I have is they charged me $100 usd on January 5th converted to Canadian $140.94 for no reason. Then they refunded me $100 usd on January 7th converted to Canadian $133.56. So I lost $7.38 Canadian for their mistake. Otherwise I really enjoyed the hotel.
- 3/5
Public area is fine, rooms are okay for a pensione, cheap but clean sheets and towels. Tiny shower stall. Window A/C. Room has a musty smell when you enter in evening, but it dissipates. Definitely not worth $200 a night, but c’est la vie.
- 3/5
Staff was courtesy but the room smelled musty and bathroom sink did not drain properly. The window a/c unit was very noisy. Beware there is no elevator and our room was on the third floor.
- 5/5
Room was spotless. Loved that I got more than 2 pillows on the bed. People at the desk were friendly. Only downfall was the no elevator.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
The only vending machine was broken. No where to get a bottle of water. Water from faucet smelled really bad.
- 5/5
Yes
- 4/5
The hotel alerts you to the absence of an elevator and the need to carry your luggage upstairs.
- 5/5
Clean hotel, very “Old Florida” vibe Nice staff, good price Within walking distance of restaurants, shopping etc. very safe area highly recommend! 😊
- 5/5
Such a friendly and quirky hotel in nice walking distance to restaurants. I love it
- 5/5
Very efficient check-in. Hotel is charming and the room is lovely.
- 5/5
No cooking
- 4/5
Everything was fine, the personnel was very attentive and helpful, and the hotel is well located, pretty and comfortable. My only problem was with the phone and WIFI coverage, which was very deficient.
- 5/5
Check in was easy. Room was charming.
- 5/5
The location is walkable to many stores and restaurants and is close to a free trolley stop.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly, check in and check out easy. Location is walkable to plenty of restaurants in Coral Gables. There is a target very close if you forgot any small items. Only complaint is the hotel is dated, especially the bathroom needs updating. Very small rooms which were fine for us, but might not be for others who like bigger spaces.
- 4/5
Older hotel. Fabulous location. Very clean & comfy
- 4/5
The room was clean and we felt good value
- 4/5
Staff were really good
- 5/5
Beautifully
- 5/5
The room and bathroom were very clean. Check in was a snap. Be aware there is no elevator and stairs are narrow and steep. Also be aware parking is a block away.
- 5/5

- 5/5
Theb room had all that we need for a confortable stay.

- 4/5
Simple old hotel in a great location. It has a sort of old Florida feel. Everything is dated but housekeeping is good. Friendly staff and ambitious decoration. The air conditioning works well but since the windows aren’t airtight the humidity changes with the humidity outside. We were very grateful for having a pantry and table in the room.
- 5/5
Very cool old vibe. Clean and festive for Christmas. We loved our stay. Great value and place to stay over for a cruise.
- 2/5
Hotel ok for a quick affordable stay, good location - but that’s about it. Severely outdated, no elevator, no pool or any amenities, no bottled water in rooms (which are tiny and you can hear everything the neighbors do or say), Wi-Fi not working, clerk downstairs not interested much in anything but his phone. Will not stay again, even for free.
- 4/5
The concierge went out of her way to be helpful plus her dining suggestion was excellent.
- 5/5
Every was very good. I recommend it.
- 3/5
Stairs to 3 floor , tough on knees. No breakfast.
- 5/5
Great for a quick night before a cruise.
- 5/5
Maravilloso
- 5/5
Good bang for the buck. Hotel hidden in plain downtown Coral Gables sight
- 5/5
Loved the quietness from inside and outside. The area felt very safe and so easy to walk around. Staff was very welcoming and helpful when needed. Clean everywhere. Charming place to stay, it felt homy. Would come back.
- 4/5
Thanks for Mauri's assistance
- 4/5
Great location! Small room!
- 5/5
It was an older boutique hotel, that’s what I prefer so it was perfect for me
- 5/5
Very european style
- 4/5
The room was ok except for small towels And no elevator I forgot a black vest in the room . Did you find it ?
- 4/5
Place was clean and quite.
- 2/5
Room had a bad odor, the shower had hair on the floor. The bed sheets had stains good thing i had my own blanket
- 3/5
Basic room. No hot water. Terrible tv. No outlets. Just good for what I needed. Sleep only. Couldn’t take shower. Could have provided water.
- 3/5
We stayed one night and i would not stay here again. There is no lift the walls are paper thin with lots of noise from people above us and in the corridors
- 5/5
Nice staff and nice sized room.
- 5/5
Clean room comfortable bed
- 4/5
Everything was ok
- 5/5
Perfect clean orderly! Charming!
- 4/5

- 4/5

The room was very clean, staff was friednly, area around the property was walkable and beautiful, as well as quiet and many options for dining.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff and a nice quiet place to walk around
- 3/5
Bed was all springs with no soft topper. Other than poor bed. It’s a good budget place.
- 5/5
Great place to stay. Convenient. Especially if you’re leaving on a cruise. Walkable, tons of options for places to eat and shop.
- 4/5
Perfectly located very comfortable room.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
Very friendly
- 4/5
The room was kinda small, but cozy. We stayed in their beach themed room and i thought it was adorable. Clean. Mini fridge and microwave. The attendant wasnt super friendly, but wasnt rude either. No elevator, so it sucked dragging a 50lb bag up the stairs, but not a deal breaker for me. Definitely enjoyed our stay
- 1/5
lots of bugs on counters beds uncomfortable taxi service to this area sucked i had to find it after circling block, desk surface bad
- 5/5
Very nice and clean
- 4/5
So efficient and great!
- 5/5
Buscaba un lugar solo para dormir, este pequeño hotel es el lugar idóneo. Las personas que nos atendieron fueron muy amables. Gracias!
- 4/5
Nice place to stay at an excellent area near the airport
- 5/5
Tremendo todo limpio lo recoiendo y el trato super bien por el personal
- 4/5
This place doesn't have elevator.
- 1/5
They steal your incidental charges rorbmm
- 3/5
Although the staff was excellent. There's work to be done here. My first room smelled like urine and the other one smelled moldy. I walked to target to get a scented candle. I couldn’t hang my clothes in the closet any there was evidence of mold in the shower. The hotel had the nerve to text me about burning candles. It stinks in there. How dare you. The location is great. Also, they have no elevator so you have to climb stairs.
- 5/5
Nice, quiet, perfect little place to stay when visiting our son at UM.
- 5/5
This is a very charming 100 year old hotel and is part of Coral Gables history. Easy walk to restaurant options and basic shopping. Glad we stayed here. Incredible value compared to the other hotels.
- 4/5
Nice place to stay. Close to everything. Little outdated but clean.
- 5/5
Excelent opcion en Coral Gables Muy recomendado.
- 4/5
The property was easy to get to and check in and check out were very convenient and easy. It was slightly more dated than I was expecting and dirty in some areas (toothpaste residue on sink and sticky residue on bedside table). But overall a good experience
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Very nice
- 4/5
There’s no elevator im the property. Very inconvenient
- 4/5
It's a good choice for the budget traveler.
- 5/5
This is an excellent choice for economical stays - clean, small rooms with small refrigerator and microwave. No pool, no business center, no restaurant at this price. Only negative is slow internet in some parts of the hotel.
- 1/5
During check-in, we were informed that the hotel water would be shut off in the morning. The front desk advised us to use the shower and any necessary water tonight. Due to this inconvenience, we chose not to stay and request a full refund.
- 5/5
Very clean, quaint and quiet, relaxing and comfortable - parking is super easy ... close abs easily accessible to Univ of Miami.
- 4/5
-darker shades -quieter bath fans -less noisy soda machine in hallway
- 5/5
It was amazing. It is a great place to stay and very convenient
- 5/5
It's a Nice n clean hotel - nothing fancy - basic but Good
- 5/5
Target Store Fusion buffet Peruvian, restaurants, in many others.
- 4/5
I've stayed here a number of times. It's perfectly located for for me. Always clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Perfect for a quick getaway. The hotel has everything you need. It is quaint, cute, and clean. It is also in a great area, and within walking distance to many restaurants, cafes, and businesses. The trolley stop is just in front of the hotel. Only downside was that sometimes I could hear the guests ringing the front desk bell at night (my room was above the front desk). The main door stays open and that is a great plus. Highly recommend.

Supernice hotel. Convenience to local shops in walking distance including Target :) I really enjoyed my stay. I've stayed here twice thus far. Their rates are very reasonable in comparison to other hotels in Miami. The staff are very friendly and courteous and I always tip because the staffing ladies go above and beyond ensuring I have towels and linens and room is to my liking. Front office gentleman was very nice and made sure I checked right in upon arrival. Thank you so much and I will definitely be back again SOON!!!

Nice clean room, good service, located in a nice area
- 5/5
I loved the stay. I loved the room. Very clean. The biggest difficulty is because it doesn't have its own parking, so we need to pay for street parking, but in general it's extremely pleasant, it was an excellent choice.

Excellent staff and all around service will definitely be back!

Great hotel... great location. Beds a little hard. Overall great place
- 5/5
Great clean room. No problems at all. Only downfall is no elevators or on site parking but the room was great and would stay there again.
- 5/5
Great value for this price!

Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean, kind of warm even though air was on. Room size was wrong which is a big turn off for me.
- 5/5
Had an excellent experience, highly recommend it.

This property was affordable but felt very classy. They were incredibly kind and prompt. The young person at the front desk was very sweet and made sure we were very taken care of and gave us local recommendations. Will stay again if I am in town!
- 5/5
Fully recommended, especially if you like that vintage Miami vibe from 1920’s. Definitely I’ll return there. Room was very clean and all staff very friendly.
- 4/5
Clean and tidy. The shower was too small and the water was not very hot but it was tolerable.
- 5/5
Beautiful historic hotel and the location is perfect if you are visiting Miami!
- 4/5
Small shower, no elevator
- 5/5
Nice, clean and quiet but close to numerous restaurants, bars and shops.
- 5/5
this will help. You can also use it to visit around or to go to the train station. There are a few nice restaurants on the same streets. The staff is very nice. I also like the snall fridge and microwave they provide to customers. I will definitely go to this hotel whenever i am in Miami.

Nice and cute hotel. Friendly staff. Shopping and restaurants right outside the door of the hotel. Will definitely stay again.

It was so nice to stay in such a historic and well kept hotel! The indoor wooden stairs were a nice little morning workout, checking in and out was very easy and speedy, and the gentlemen at the front desk was very kind and welcoming!! 10/10 for pricing too! Wonderful experience 🏝️🏨

The location is great. This property gets a 2 star because there was a flying cockroach in the room. We noticed it 5min after entering the room and the front desk person ridiculously asked if we brought food into the room. We literally stepped into the room and saw. They then strayed the room with roach spray but we requested a different room which they gave us so overall was ok but the presence of the roach and the reaction from the front desk person wasn’t.

Way to expensive for what it is ,$170 per night for a room that has no special amenities. They hand you a regular house key and the door is a normal door anyone can break into. Our room was the only one by the front desk as the front door is always unlocked you will have people outside your room which felt absolutely unsecured.
- 4/5
Also, thin walls. The shower had very little pressure but the attachment worked great. Coffee maker was very dirty. But it was a very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Great location. Simple, quaint room. Very clean.
- 4/5
Good staging. Nice workers and respectful.
- 5/5
All good. nice decor. Great staff. Quiet safe location. The room is on the small sie and feels a bit cramped. An old window A/C unit is noistly.

Great location and friendly staff.

Loved our stay - it is a cute, historic and clean hotel, perfect for a little trip away. We will be back!

This hotel is close to restaurants and shopping. I love the area walking distance to anywhere. The hotel is clean and it has all your basic needs. I will definitely stay here again when I come back on business.

The rooms, were quaint, very clean and very simply decorated. It’s in a nice location to walk and visit some of the other businesses nearby. Staff was excellent. .

Hotel was great and clean.

Extremely clean! The Art Deco facade really takes you back in time!
- 5/5
Nice place to stay!!!
- 5/5
The only caveat of this place is that it does not have own parking lot. Free parking is available in the neighborhood but at one time, I had to walk a distance.
- 4/5
Wonderful old hotel in beautiful downtown Coral Gables. Surely Florida's most beautiful city! Very clean, with historic photos on hallway walls. The only downside is the three story walk up to top floor. No elevators. But I'd surely stay here again. Great value, great experience.
- 5/5
Good experience. Retro boutique hotel is located in a nice area very close to the airport. Certainly no-frills but a nice change of pace from the usual cookie cutter hotel. Simple, but sufficient. Will book again.
- 4/5
Stayed here cause it was the cheapest we can find closest to the cruise port. Walls are thin you can her everything happening out in the hall. Constant footsteps from above. My bed was squeaking. But the room its self was clean, small with very minimalistic design. I liked it. The bed were very firm which was fine with me. There’s a target right up the street which was great for last minute shopping for the cruise.
- 4/5
The hotel was remodeled and I believe it is in a great location. It is Miami and I found a big bug in the bathroom, other than that, the cleanliness is good.
- 5/5
Clean, up to date decor

Highly recommended.

Everything about this property is beautiful and perfect
- 5/5
There is no parking in the hotel, but you can park on the street nearby.
- 5/5
Parking everything else was wonderful would most definitely return
- 5/5
Publix and Target, Miracle Mile all within walking distance. Coral Gables trolley stops close by.
- 4/5
Parking was tricky and the cleaning products or spray weren’t that pleasant. The nostalgic feeling of the old hotel was nice.
- 4/5
Old property, very charming. Staff is very courteous and accommodating. Location is very convenient, walking distance to Miracle Mile. Just keep in mind that as an old property, the AC is a window unit, and those are very loud.Appliances in the room worked properly. Loved the vintage decor.

The building itself - quite unique

Clean and quiet accomodations in prime area of Coral Gables
- 5/5
This is an older hotel and is in the original style of the 1920's. The staff and quality of the rooms is reasonably modern for the age of the building. e enjoyed our stay and convenience of the locality
- 5/5
Very charming little Hotel in an old building in a very calm, nice and certainly safe area. We really liked the atmosphere and the interior decoration of the hotel. You can find many restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. We will choose this hotel also next time in Miami.

Great old school historic hotel. Very comfy and the staff was very friendly. Definitely worth the $$$$$.
- 5/5
Great location
- 5/5
Allowing us to check in early how nice is that
- 4/5
Excellent hotel. However A/C window unit .. made a loud noise and kept me up most of the night
- 4/5
Quaint older hotel but in a nice area. Only complaint was no elevator but we knew that before booking.
- 1/5
The worst was the absence of windows in the room. Description on this must be very clear from the beginning, plus elevator absence.
- 5/5
Very close to a number of restaurants. Only issue for handicapped people there is no elevator.
