We had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff members were very attentive. They accommodated all of our requests and everyone showed such kindness to me and my husband. We ate at the restaurant more than once and the food and service were excellent. The room was nice and comfortable and the lake behind the property made for a really nice view. I highly recommend this property. It’s also well situated within walking distance of restaurants and also close to shopping.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel next to the Orange county performing arts center. Very nice. Will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
I live about an hour and a half away from the theater, so I usually don’t relish the idea of driving back home after watching this beautiful show so I stay at this hotel. It’s reasonably priced has wonderful amenities and a thoughtful staff plus you’re within walking distance of some great restaurants.

Clean and nice The hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and very well maintained, which makes this experience even more disappointing. My stay was significantly impacted by a wedding event held on the property, directly beneath the guest rooms. From approximately 3:30 PM until 9:00 PM, loud music and constant noise could be heard throughout my room. At times, it felt as though the event was taking place inside the room itself. I reported the issue to the front desk and was offered a different room. Unfortunately, after moving, the noise was even worse. Despite making an effort to resolve the problem with hotel staff, I was unable to enjoy a quiet or relaxing stay. The event also created parking issues. When I returned to the hotel, the parking lot was full, and I had to wait in my car until a space became available. Hotel guests should not have to compete with event attendees for parking. While the property itself is excellent, the excessive noise, unsuccessful room change, and parking problems had a major negative impact on my stay. I understand that hotels host private events, but guests should be informed in advance if their rooms are located directly above an event venue. Because of this experience, I would have difficulty recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay.

I've stayed here for years and it just seems it's going downhill, spent a good amount for a room and it was not up to par. Disappointed to say the least.

AC BROKEN room would not cool down and multiple technicians sent to room to try and fix

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Very good

The location The fridge required a key and key didn’t work
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and clean. Beds and pillows were very comfy. The shower pressure is not the best but at least everything was working in our room. The parking right next to the hotel can be packed if you come back late at night, but there’s usually a couple spots left all the way at the top floor. Overall a wonderful stay in a nice, safe area. Would recommend if you’re looking for a place to stay in Costa Mesa.

Room was very clean!! Housekeeping staff very nice!! Front desk staff was either very nice or kinda eh. Coffee maker in room didn’t work but they brought a new one. No hairdryer in room. Faucet dropped out more water than the shower head!! You can tell this is an older hotel that they just tried to make pretty. Great location. But $40 a night for parking and the lot is tiny is not worth it!!

Room was nice and very clean. We liked having the patio and lake view on the first floor. Our only problem was that they allow dogs and there were multiple times that we could hear different dogs barking non stop. We did contact the front desk but as it always happens they stopped as soon as we called. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Do not recommend if anyone has an animal allergy. Other than that, everything is great. Great location, great staff, easy parking, and great outdoor space to walk near the pool.

This is a great hotel if you are in the Cosa Mesa area. It is a beautiful hotel as our the grounds. Most importantly the prices are very reasonable.

Wouldn’t recommend it unfortunately. There were mosquitoes in my room, sheets smelled and felt dirty. Front desk wasn’t friendly or welcoming.

No breakfast on site, but all the amenities are great. Parking is bit pricey. The room and overall ambience is very nice. Will be back here for sure in the future.

Great service and beautiful room
- 5/5
This was a quiet oasis and a comfortable, luxurious hotel in the middle of a bustling city. We could walk to Southwest Repertory Theater and Southcoast Plaza. The event we visited was a short drive away. We even enjoyed walking around the lake when we had a free moment. Our balcony/deck was very private. The large room was well-appointed, and the bed was large and comfortable. Our breakfast in the neighboring restaurant, while expensive, was delicious. The parking worked out well, using our room key to come and go. If only the parking had been complimentary... The only thing we didn't like was a lamp that seemed to pop on by itself with a motion detector, so we just unplugged it.

This property exceeded our expectations for our short stay. The room was comfortable, the common areas were inviting and it was quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Staff and hotel was impeccable
- 1/5
i'm not sure where to start. The holes in the sheets? The terrible food? The 1980s purple decor? The elevators that didn't work? The terrible location? The expensive parking? Would never go back.
- 4/5
Nice and clean, and the outdoor view was beautiful with a nice walking path.
- 4/5
The room was clean and well maintained but quite noisy (room 129) I would recommend not staying in this specific room
- 5/5
4 star hotel for the price of a 2 star. Solid 4 star hotel from someone who stays mostly in 4 star hotels and some 5 star.
- 5/5
Very clean and top notch service. Expensive overnight parking
- 4/5
Parking was a little steep
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and very convenient location
- 5/5
Wed stay there again in a heartbeat. Easy walk to Sergestrom. Love rooms with a view of the lake
- 5/5
The bar had live music which was fabulous while sipping on a cocktail prior to dinner.
- 5/5
Everything was amazing definitely coming back to stay here again!
- 5/5
We were impressed. Very nice hotel and it has access to a relaxing parking and pond directly behind it. The gym has a sauna. The overall vibe and atmosphere at the hotel is high end and relaxing. It really was a treat to stay at a hotel like this.
- 5/5
Stayed with my son and we had an absolutely great time. Family friendly and clean!
- 5/5
Room was refurbished, clean and quiet property. Easy access to south coast plaza and local eateries. Good walking paths.
- 5/5
Booked a night and was pleasantly surprised. Great place!
- 5/5
We stayed
- 5/5
The room was beautiful and bright. We got breakfast added and it’s basic but filling
- 5/5
Breakfast was delicious but I'm disappointed and feel taken advantage of due to the cost that Expedia charged me for breakfast vouchers. The breakfast vouchers we paid for when we booked our trip on Expedia we're more expensive than what they comped us at the restaurant. The breakfast vouchers which were $50 we're only good for up to $26 at the restaurant. So we were totally jipped. Seems like somebody is pocketing the money for unsuspecting guests. Also the voucher they gave us was only good for the most basic item on the menu
- 5/5
It was cool
- 5/5
The room was clean, comfortable, and nicely designed (the bed was especially great). Loved the location too—right by the Segerstrom Center for the Arts but still quiet. Also recommend grabbing a drink or dinner at the Silver Trumpet Restaurant & Bar—the lakeside setting is really nice, especially at night. Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Place clean and nicely kept up. Some items in the room not working, i.e. couple of lights, phone, etc. easy fixes but didn't ask to be fixed, no big deal for us. Overall good place.
- 5/5
The hotel was conveniently located near South Coast Plaza, which was nice. Overall, a great stay.
- 4/5
Parking is $40 and that's just to much. The cleanliness of the property is in point
- 5/5
Great hotel for an overnight stay while on the Anaheim/orange county area that is not a long drive from restaurants, beautiful grounds, great staff and easy parking. In my opinion, best for business travel, short stays.
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Staff ia very nice and attentive.
- 5/5
Clean beautiful and great staff. Really enjoyed my stay at the hotel.
- 5/5
Really nice and clean place

Shuttle service is so nice. Jose and Cam are so sweet! Front desk was very nice and greeted my boyfriend and I , every time we left and entered. Housekeeping was super kind! Nicely spaced room and cozy. Stayed for two nights, and would love to come again.
- 5/5
Very clean room, comfortable bed, great location. Would stay here again.

- 5/5
Great hotel and clean room and great customer service thanks for everything
- 5/5
We were able to relax and unwind in a lovely, artistically, decorated hotel with great amenities, a comfortable bed, and an expansive green space.
- 5/5
Excellent quiet hotel. Staff were great and pleasant. Rooms were clean. I would definitely stay here again. Close to Southeast Plaza which is always nice
- 5/5
Spacious, clean room with nice decor. Nice lobby.
- 4/5
The room was clean the door, however, was hard to access with the key card. And the pillows absolutely sucked other than that great place.
- 5/5
Great place to stay, shopping, food entertainment all walking distance.
- 5/5
Kind staff, clean property and lovely location
- 1/5
They check us in very late , no microwave at the entire property
- 5/5
Room was clean & modern. Great staff!
- 5/5
The hotel was clean and smelled great. Loved that they would give us rides within a 5 mile radius of the hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Didn’t have breakfast
- 5/5
We greatly enjoyed our stay. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was pleasant, and our stay exceeded our expectations.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Very clean, friendly staff. Parking a bit pricey.
- 4/5
Clean room, comfy bed. Loved the free airport shuttle.
- 4/5
NO hot water last night. Remote with dead batteries. No instructions for wifi in room - had to call front desk. No outlet for laptop or phone on or near the desk !?
- 5/5
Liliana at front desk was very pleasant. Love the rooms.
- 5/5
Loved the rooms and the fact they all have balconies. The bed was extremely comfortable.
- 1/5
I was charged an additional fee after my stay. I was told it was for parking that I already paid for. There’s a locked gate that needs payment to leave the parking garage. I paid at the parking garage every night during my stay only to find out “I was supposed to show proof of payment to the hotel staff”. I was never informed of this policy and when I tried to resolve the issues management never called me back. Please be weary of unexpected fraudulent charges if you book with this property!
- 5/5
My only dislike--- that super heavy , one-piece duvet on the bed.
- 3/5
We just had a ton of trouble with tv. Sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn’t. Other then that great hotel to stay at
- 5/5
great
- 5/5
My family was very pleased with the hotel and their stay.
- 5/5
Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. Breakfast was good and fair price. Staff and service were 5 stars. Will be back.

Yes
- 5/5
Room was fabulous and clean
- 3/5
This would’ve been the third time I’ve stayed at this hotel. Everything was fine. Even the check-in was great. However the next morning early the noise outside of the machine pump in the lake was absolutely over the top the loudest and the most annoying thing I’ve ever been through at staying at any hotel unfortunately it ruined my stay and I cannot recommend this Hotel as the front desk should’ve been more aware that this would’ve been a problem as my room was directly in front of the pump.
- 5/5
Stayed for a night to see a concert across the street from the hotel - this is a lovely spot! Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable. Loved our stay and would absolutely return!
- 5/5
Didnt have breakfast
- 5/5
clean room, great outdoor area to walk your dog
- 3/5
The room they gave us had bugs in it. Then they moved us into a different room which was ok. The staff was great. I had breakfast at the onsite restaurant which was not that good. Location was perfect.
- 5/5
Beautiful setting
- 4/5
great place! polite staff and clean rooms!
- 5/5
Lovely property and helpful staff. Would stay here again.
- 2/5
Upon entering my room I was hit with a strong smell of what can only be described as really bad body odor. My tv volume didn’t go below 6 and the door to the patio didn’t open.
- 5/5
Thank you
- 5/5
It’s hard to find such good service lately. The afternoon and evening staff for phenomenal. They made us feel so taken care and went above and beyond. I hope they know how awesome they are. All the staff was wonderful including the cleaning ladies
- 5/5
The place was beautiful and affordable. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
This is a beautiful property with a unique, artistic vibe and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel was spotlessly clean, and every detail—from the lobby to the rooms—was thoughtfully maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Orange County. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, style, and hospitality!
- 5/5
Check in was great. Easy self parking-pricey too. great spacious room, nice view and restaurant, I enjoyed it and will come back!
- 3/5
Bathroom floor has ground in dirt in it making it grimy. The vents need changing as they blow dust into rooms triggering my allergies. Hotel is nice
- 5/5
Very posh and clean hotel
- 5/5
Parking was much too expensive.
- 4/5
Breakfast was not free; but very good!
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
Will definitely stay again. We loved it
- 4/5
Other than the front desk trying to downgrade our room at check-in, it was a great stay.
- 4/5
Clean room, front desk and Valet staff were so helpful and welcoming.
- 5/5
Room and property were super clean. Staff was great. Beds very comfortable
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Bed was very comfy.
- 4/5
Having stayed previously, we were surprised with an ongoing billing issue. After authorizing the usual amount for a 2-day stay and incidentals upon check-in, an attempt was made to charge our card again just hours later at about 1:00 AM. The amount was interestingly equal to the entire stay (the previous authorization remained). This was then attempted again later in the morning, so 1 authorization equal to the full stay and incidentals and 2 more attempted charges (these raised a flag with Amex) in less than 24 hours, each being equal to what the entire bill would be at check-out. While pleasant, the staff at the front desk could not explain this. On the day of our checkout they tried to make 3 more charges within a few hours of each other. After a few days Amex hashed things out, and the actual charge (authorization released) was as expected. I don’t know what was going on, but those attempted charges would have been 3X what the invoice was for our stay. We used the same card with a longer stay previously and never had these issues.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 5/5
Great facility and great service overall
- 4/5
The room was clean but on their website it said they provided robes in the room and there weren’t any and for the amount of money you pay they should offer complimentary continental breakfast
- 2/5
Parking was 40-50 bucks a night then it filled up and I had nowhere to park at 1030 pm?!The internet was horrible unless you pay extra for it,I won’t stay there again(Staff was good but circumstances weren’t!
- 5/5
Very comfortable pillows & bed, loved the balcony, good size room & pet-friendly.
- 4/5
I hotel is older so the rooms have been update but you can tell it’s still older. Very humid and had to ask for a fan. The AC didn’t work great definitely an older unit. It was an okay stay I definitely expected more . The staff and service was amazing I will give them that. Everyone was more than helpful and very friendly and professional.
- 4/5
Nice property, party groups in the weekends.
- 5/5
We will never even consider another hotel in the area after our experience here. They've made us loyal repeat customers. Thank you!
- 4/5
Good location, staff was super helpful. While the rooms were likely updated in the recent past, the beds and pillows are kind of tired and old.
- 4/5
It was good for one night before our flight from LAX; even though not close to the airport, the 1h drive was fine int he morning. We did not take advantage of the amenities nor the restaurant. Before leaving we walked a little in the area and it was lovely around the lake and the Plaza where the theaters are. We slept comfortably, the room was clean. The only negative is that they had a party and another couple in our group had a room on the same floor and they couldn't sleep as the party people continued win their rooms and corridors. It would have been a better experience to give other travelers rooms on other floors.
- 5/5
Great hotel ... very professional staff, very quiet, relaxing and close to major highways and the airport but in a very safe and private area. Room was great, especially the view to the lake. Gated enclosure around the entire lake made for a very enjoyable walk ... landscaping was like a breath of fresh air. We will definitely return to the "Avenue" next time that we are in the Costa Mesa area.
- 1/5
Shower was broken and I booked a king they gave me 2 queen
- 4/5
The property has a very walkable area with a pond.
- 4/5
Everything was great besides the pool and jacuzzi both dirty and I don’t think they clean every day.
- 5/5
I loved my free room upgrade, the staff is always friendly and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and they have an awesome pool area. Nothing bad to be said.
- 4/5
I like the pond behind the property.
- 5/5
Safe, clean, quiet, close to a shopping mall with many restaurant choices
- 5/5
Everything was great!
- 4/5
This day was great but the staff could be a little less snooty.
- 5/5
The stay was great overall
- 5/5
Excellent customer service! All staff from bell service to housekeeping is kind and helpful!
- 5/5
A very nice hotel stay. My 3rd time staying here. The staff is always a pleasure to work with.
- 5/5
The room was very nice, the property was beautiful as well.
- 5/5
Excellent
- 5/5
The ambiance nice vibe
- 5/5
Nice evrithing
- 5/5
Nice place to stay!
- 4/5
Solid place to stay. Quiet rooms and nice surrounding area. Nothing over the top in terms of service or amenities but definitely a good quality stay!!
- 5/5
Good restaurant and bar
- 5/5
You can’t go wrong here ! Excellent customer service! Front desk is exceptional! Rooms are always clean and housekeepers always ready to help if anything is needed! Great hotel !
- 2/5
This is not a family friendly hotel. We had spiders and webs in our room and front desk acted like it was not a big deal. There was a tube hanging out of the bathroom shower ceiling…. not covered and just everything about our room was old dingy and not unkept whatsoever. We ate at the restaurant inside the hotel and service was soo slow we thought they didn’t want to serve us. We waited to be seated and ever waiter made eye contact with us and just kept passing by. It was not even busy. The manger came up to us and asked if he can help us. We just wanted to sit down and eat at the restaurant.. I’m not sure if they didn’t want a family to eat at the restaurants or it was because of other reasons we don’t know. I wished we booked another hotel somewhere else.
- 4/5
However, the main building and lobby are outdated and feel old. A notable disappointment was the pool, which was much smaller than the pictures on the website led us to believe. Pros: * Spacious and clean rooms. * Polite and courteous staff. Cons: * The building and lobby are outdated. * The pool was significantly smaller than advertised online.
- 5/5
Very nice facility!
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel, excellent value for your $
- 5/5
Amazing stay!
- 4/5
Property was great but check in was 4 pm and I did not get my room until 4:45 pm. Really nicely done property.
- 5/5
Very friendly and clean, would recommend having complementary coffee in the lobby
- 4/5
There are not many places with patios in OC, AOA is convenient when traveling with Pets.
- 5/5
Perfect location to see a ballet, or concert at the Sergestrom!
- 5/5
excellent place to stay with nice lake.
- 5/5
The valet guys were welcoming and helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean, we liked the snacks and drinks in the room. The silver trumpet restaurant was very convenient to get dessert after dinner at South Coast Plaza. Overall it was a pleasant stay and gorgeous grounds!
- 5/5
I really liked this property. Nice and clean, staff was friendly and accommodating. I recommend this place to stay!
- 3/5
Notes for management: my queen bed was broken down on the side next to the nightstand, and the outlet in the bathroom did not work at all. Details matter.
- 3/5
It’s a good place to stay. Rooms need some renovation
- 4/5
Cute, decorated hotel in a great area! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only cons is the pricey parking for guests, it should be discounted or free! There's also no microwave to reheat food and the bathrooms are a little outdated. The tv stand table also had ants (no food on the counter) and the bathroom had a weird chemical smell when it was left open. Other than that, it's good!
- 5/5
I came for the wedding. The room was nice with beautiful lake view.I really enjoy my stay.
- 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous property. Beautifully maintained and professional staff. I can’t wait to stay here again!
- 5/5
Great place to stay to see a show at the Segerstrom Center, shop, and dine. Friendly staff. Beautiful grounds.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, excellent breakfast with nice view
- 4/5
Nice stay. $40 for parking is a bit much but at least they charged my Tesla for me.
- 5/5
Restaurant food could have been served hotter, but I enjoyed my 3 night stay here. Good internet.
- 5/5
The Staff here are THE BEST!! Front desk, valet and security all amazing people. I'll definitely rebook here
- 5/5
The room was very spacious and comfortable. Had a wonderful view to look out at.
- 2/5
Older hotel, room had an older feel. Air conditioning did not work
- 5/5
The staff were not just friendly but also genuinely helpful. The room was impeccably clean and tidy, and the view was absolutely stunning.
- 5/5
Friendly and helpful staff, check in was a breeze.
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
Such an elegant theater. Good sound and set design.
- 4/5
Was happy with the interior as well as landscape. The over night charge for vallet 2nd car 50 while charge 40 for self parking on the 1st car.
- 5/5
Everything was fantastic!
- 1/5
The property was average nothing crazy, what it was crazy about the property it was the 40.00 dollars parking fee per night. I never stay in a hotel before that charge their customer 40dlls per night just for parking. To me that is an inessesary charge. Never staying there for sure.
- 5/5
Kind and helpful staff, excellent bed, clean and quiet room. Very good restaurant.
- 5/5
I would be interested in searching out other hotels in this hotel collection.
- 5/5
The pond / lake is nice. I had room with a balcony overlooking the lake. You could hear the water from the waterfall. At times when it was nice and quiet. I’ve stayed there before in a one bedroom suite w two balcony . I liked both rooms. I like to walk around. But when there is an event across the street it’s very loud and echoes. But it’s very nice. The food is good. Location is good. Staff is nice. It is clean. I will stay there again.
- 5/5
Early checkin made me more convenient. The front desk recommend me to apply for the membership. It was helpful. I will be back.
- 5/5
great bedding! Love that
- 5/5
Excellent front desk staff especially Amber -thank you! Great room service! Loved our room! Quiet and peaceful ambience!
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
fun beautiful hotel with great staff
- 5/5
beautiful property with amazing staff
- 5/5
Great location and service
- 5/5
I had a wonderful and fantastic stay! The room was spotless, and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I booked a room with a balcony, but I was unable to open the sliding door. However, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow overall positive experience I had during my visit. I would recommend this place to others:)
- 5/5
We stayed here a couple of nights
- 5/5
The pool was not very big and the pool in some photos and on the key cards is not hotel pool.

The atmosphere, excellent staff. Bis was wonderful and accomodating as well as the rest of the staff. The heater was noisey in the room though.

Great location and nice staffs. Easy access to major shopping centers and plenty of dinning options in the area. Only parking is bit expensive.

The lobby was decorated in a fun, vibrant way. My room was okay, but the bathroom smelled so bad.

Our room was spacious, clean, and enjoyable. We checked in too late to enjoy the pool or hot tub and the $40 parking fee was a bit pricey, aside from that it was worth it.

I find the pics on line mis-leading. Its basically an older hotel with a coat of paint...that needs another coat.

If you’re looking for a nice property near Disney or Chapman University, this one is great! Clean, comfortable, located near a small lake with some relaxing views, restaurant on property and close to shopping etc. the staff was very friendly and attended to some of the issues I had in my room very quickly. There are some upkeep items that could be addressed, but, nothing too horrible. Really was a nice, convenient, comfy place to stay for a few days while visiting the area.
