Mesa Motel

Wasn't great! They spent more on the artwork than the amenities for the room. Had to call because the hot water wouldn't heat up. No coffee maker, phone, towels are small old and one wasn't cleaned well some sketchy people around no blow-dryer.

The towels were not clean or they were very old because you could see dirty spot on them.

Stairway have a full of trashed...trash is smelled no one take care it. I still 3 night, one day no room service coming...ask for supplies

I thought this would turn out to be a good stay however I was wrong. We got woken up at 7am by a loud knock the property manager asked us to move our car because it was blocking others in. It was not our car..the lady proceeded to knock on everyone else’s door instead Of taking the time to read our sheet that clearly said what type of car everyone had and which room they were located. I have to say this motel was crap.

strange lights in the bathroom, missing conveniences like ice and proper parking, housekeeping never made the bed, had to purchase our own blanket, towels poor quality, paid a deposit for a room key?,

This place is just ok for a night or two. Nothing special.

My experience at this place was horrible checked in my room and it was never cleaned bed was dirty , used filthy towels in the restroom and so forth. I was called a liar by the managers wife she went on saying that we made the mess to make a complain which was impossible we had been in there for less than 5 minutes. Staff was very rude overall they talked crap about us in our face in another language Hindu Arabic or some other language .

No remote control for tv, have me a king bed instead of 2 double beds which I asked for. Gypsy family was playing cards all day and into the night In the parking lot leaving gambling chips in the parking lot and they blocked several parking spaces making parking even more limited, all while they loudly shouted at one another constantly at all hours.

Booked the Executive King bed but upon check in it did not look like the photos of that specific room. However, for the price and location, it was a good size for my partner and I. Hotel is a mere 15 min drive away from Huntington Beach and there are many stores within walking distance of the hotel. The windows are locked shut so you can’t open them to air out the room/bathroom but there is an ac unit to cool it down. There is a $20 cash deposit required and the store next door does not offer cash back just a heads up. Overall would stay again!

They want $20 cash deposit at check in. I don’t carry cash that often so that was a little bit inconvenient. They should let us know ahead of time. It’s clean and nice for the price.

My over all experience was great... they were kind to let me check in early since my flight arrived early and the place was clean.

Compared to all the other motels on Harbor blvd this motel has clean rooms for a decent price. Also, comfortable clean beds and a TV that works. Maybe better cable lol but for the price it is a good motel.

This was a horrible stay. Room definitely needed updates and renovations. somewhat like picture posted.restroom had holes and cracks and the cauking needed to be redone. only cool thing about it was the uv painting on the ceiling. would not stay here again.

Cool place, nice decor, calm and peaceful

The Mesa Hotel was an extremely unpleasant stay. The rooms were absolutely filthy. During a global pandemic, you would think that cleanliness would be a top priority. The shower was dirty with a used bar of soap inside. The wood floors were dusty. I found an open pack of condoms under the bed. Bed and bedsheets were in extremely poor condition. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend your $120 dollar’s elsewhere.

If I could attach the pics I have, no one would stay here even in a pinch. I’m not paranoid about Covid nor am I needing more than what I paid for, but this room is filthy. Floors turned my feet black within minutes. Thick layer of caked-on dust over microwave. Very obvious an attempt at renovating, but it was not ready for a guest because it had not been properly cleaned after. Dark footprint stain on white sheets on one bed, price-tag and pieces of paper when sheets were pulled back on the other. White paint on the starchy, thin bedcover. Spider and bugs in the dirty shower. No coffee machine. Dirty sink in kitchenette. Sound fun to sleep in? Wish me luck! Will be asking for a refund.

Terrible place . Lady in the front was rude! Room was dirty! The shower wasn’t working properly.. smh never again !

Good for the night

So if you want a decent room with a big TV and no hospitality then I recommend this place.

Bad attitude from the Indian receptionist since the first moment she did not look fine. Hotel is empty and they do not want me to stay a longer check out time. Ridiculous selfish people. Hotel is ok, I recommend to check somewhere else.

Great stay , LEF lights are super cool!!

This was a short, one night stay, but we were surprised by how clean and updated the interior was. TV channels are limited and there is an adult channel (XXX), SO BUYER BEWARE. But the bed was clean and comfy and the bathroom was clean and in good repair. We didn't need luxury, but the room was huge for the price, so this was nice.

The room had been remodeled. Very clean. New bathroom. Sink, tub and toilet. Way to go!

The tv was set to porn and the non smoking room smelled like smoke. They did however give us our money back. The 2 star rating was quite generous!

Me and my fiancé stay at this hotel whenever we come visit family in OC. This motel is worth the price. I don't understand why people expect the Ritz Carlton.. you get what you pay for. Anyways, the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to those on a budget.

Quite clean and quiet. Sort of cheap remodel recently, but close to downtown CM and freeways.

The area was good the check in was good. The room was clean but the only thing is that there bed was to small. The tv was horrible there was nothing to see you couldnt watch a good channel without loosing signal. The price that i laid it was too much. Definitely not going back there

Everything was fine except the rooms were tiny like a motel 6 room and not much for good tv channels.

This is a very nice motel great for the price. Nice lighting, comfortable bed, nice staff. Enjoyed stay here will be returning.

It was kind of cool because we were the only ones there

The room was pretty spacious. It had a fridge, couch, desk to work at and the wifi worked well. I liked the artwork in the room and the lights were cool too.

The staff is had before was great, but this one was mean and totally inflexible. Her English was awful, which is fine, better than my Hindi. But when I asked her to repeat herself, she acted like it was my fault. No line behind me, maybe 3/4 guests at the whole property, based on the numbers of cars.

The service was nice but they either need to let us inside to hear them better or use a speaker for audio. I was not told please or thank you. The bed was old and not comfortable, the room looked modern and was very clean but the bed needed a comforter or some type of blanket as well. Overall OK experience for a good priced place

This property was not what I expected at all. It was extremely dirty. I would never stay here again. I am surprised that a property like this is even on Expedia. I would expect a better quality property for a property on Expedia. I would suggest that this one would be under a lower starred hotel. Do not stay here! Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else! This place had ghetto ass lighting inside the room like a porn star hotel or something it was horrible!

I didn’t like much of anything about this property. It was booked as a luxurious hotel, it is very basic like a Motel 6 and they do not clean your room or have any breakfast of any kind. The room is extremely plain and basic. It is way overpriced for the quality you get.

I love the lighting and great customer service. The property is being remodeled and has amazing potential. The owner goes to great length to keep thw customer happy and safe. Lots of places to eat around the hotwl.

Nice one and we liked the remodeling

We weren't allowed in the lobby to check in. It all took place through a tiny window. The receptionist was nice. We asked for a downstairs room since we had our bikes and would be riding everywhere. She moved us. It seemed like a big deal and they weren't even booked. Our room was very dated. The mattress was terribly old and uncomfortable. One of the 2 pillows was down and I'm allergic. The bathroom was nice and remodeled but the towels were stained and the shower curtain needs to be moved away from the tub by 2 inches. The rest of the room needed paint. There were wall patches. There is not an ice mechine, no blow dryer, no coffee in the room, and no cleaning or tidying up from staff. There was a tv but no movie channels and one porn channel which would of really upset me if we were with our whole family which we often travel with. I expected it to be a bit nicer considering the higher price than Super 8 and Motel 6.
