I had a great stay at Courtyard by Marriott Cypress Anaheim/Orange County. The hotel was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. The location was convenient, and the room was spacious and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.

I requested to check in early the day before and was not able to check in until 30 minutes before the check in. No reply or reason was given and other were allowed to check in ahead of me who did not make a request.

There was a lovely lady at the reception who assisted me with checking in . Her name is Mwinji. Very professional, friendly, kind , and knowledgeable and answered all my questions . But not only that, she was just so extremely welcoming and really set the tone for the start of our stay there. Thank you Mwinji! The hotel itself was actually larger than I expected and facilities were nice, it was very clean. Our executive King room was lovely, spacious and clean with lots of storage and space it even had two TV's . The air con works a little too perfectly the room was icy crisp lol but you can adjust it to your personal preference obviously. There was a microwave and fridge in the room and a sofa too. Location wise, it's pretty perfect because there are a ton of food places within walking distance I'm talking just walk right across the parking lot at the side of the hotel and there's burger place, dumpling place, El Torito etc. Lots of choices. I was travelling with a toddler so we went to Adventure city nearby which was less than 10 min drive and also to the park called Larwin park which has a great shaded kids playground and that was only 4/5mins away if at that. We did go to the pool but didn't swim . Pool is a decent size -shame there is no hot tub. And if I was going to nit pick, the pool could have been a tad bit cleaner but I dipped my feet in and it was a nice temperature. The hotel has a bistro downstairs which is where they serve food in the evening and their breakfast. There is also a bar area too for drinks. I had a lovely margarita made for me at the bar in the evening and the Lady who made it was also very lovely and friendly (sadly I forgot to ask her name) but she was so sweet to my Kid as well and I really appreciated that. In the morning we had breakfast - I had the breakfast sandwich which was tasty and some other cold items too. The lady taking the breakfast orders was also so sweet. So this is not a Hotel problem per se but Booking.com says Breakfast costs $9.95 per person and that is not accurate so please update your information because it's Ala carte menu and not even a buffet breakfast either so the advertising was misleading.

I was disappointed that Hotel Major Brands like Marriott refused to offer changed date of my booking due to personal issues

My daughter had a fever so we went home a day early and didnt get a day credit back.

Overall the stay was satisfactory and the front desk staff were awesome. I would stay again for the kindness and professionalism of the staff.

Breakfast was not included

We had a queen size, bed and sofa bed. The sofa bed is the most uncomfortable thing. It’s hard. It’s difficult to get in and out. Would not recommend the sofa bed otherwise things were nice.

The staff, from the front desk to the restaurant to maintenance to room service, all were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious . The outdoor pool was refreshing in the morning. It would have been nice to have towels for the pool in our room. Other than that there was nothing that really stood out.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating throughout my stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the common areas were well maintained. The lobby is especially nice and inviting, and the cafeteria was a great spot for breakfast and coffee. Overall, a pleasant and stress-free stay. I would definitely recommend this Marriott to anyone visiting the Long Beach area.

It’s clean, close to everywhere we wanted to go. Staffs were very friendly. We’re welcome with 2 water bottles. The only concern was no lotion, hair drier was too old so that it’s too loud, and the air conditioner was not really quiet.

No complaints really, the hotel was very easy to go in and out. Plenty of dining options within walking distance and surprisingly it was pretty quiet at night. They even had a little cafe within the hotel but we didn’t grab anything there during our time. The room layout wasn’t our favorite but the bed itself was pretty comfy compared to other hotels & the whole hotel was very tidy and clean. Parking was great and had no worries about our car getting messed with. Would definitely consider coming back here again!

The bathroom seemed a bit dirty when we first arrived. The sink was very smelly. Our first morning there we requested it to be cleaned and add one more towel. It was cleaned but the extra towel was not given. The coffee maker had moldy water left in it so I ended up getting coffee downstairs instead. All staff were exceptionally kind and professional, I just expected more from a Marriott in terms of cleanliness of the room

Didn’t have the room I booked and prepaid for; told them I didn’t mind a lesser room, but needed a safe shower and a comfortable chair. Got the shower but not the chair. Went to the room, wet hand towel on floor of shower, sink countertop and bathroom floor wet, making my shoes sticky. Had an early morning start and left my favorite earrings on bathroom counter. When I realized & called back, they “never found them”. Sorry I left a generous cash tip on the desk.

Room was not serviced on weekend due to only 1 housekeeper for entire hotel. Asked several times. Toilet never cleaned. Coffee and bar not open at needed times. No everyday breakfast. Will not return.

The customer service was not good, the front desk agent promised he would return a refund for the unused night of my stay, i needed to check out a day earlier due to an unexpected family emergency. Once i arrived home i chased the refund and had the hotel go back on what they said, refusing a refund. If they had said at the time a refund was not possible i would have understood. They went back on their promise which was very disappointing.

Went into my room. It was clean and smelled fresh. I put my things away and I got comfortable. My interactions during my stay were very minimal to begin with. Then I started noticing things. I am a people watcher. I would notice how a front desk staff would speak to me and treat me different than most of her guest. The hotel staff would regularly suspiciously sneak into my room even with (2) do not disturb signs on my door. They claim they missed it. I thought to myself. There’s no way she treats me different than the regular guest here because I too am not like them, white. Left it alone. Fast forward to a 5th extension to my stay. All paid for with no issues. This one declined by my bank for fraud. The hotel ordered their staff to wake me from my sleep & demand I pay in 5 minutes or be removed. Mind you I recently had surgery. I got up too quickly and began bleeding internally. I was able to stop the bleeding. A quick call to the bank resolved their $180 temporary hold issue. $180 got me to bleed. Let them show you the $5k in receipts I spent the rest of my stay no declines and no issues. But I’m sure not being white had anything to do with it. Don’t stay here. Don’t believe me? Come check it out for yourself.

This hotel is located in a convenient area. It includes complimentary parking and is adjacent to several restaurants for a quick bite. The hotel is very clean, has all the amenities you may need and the staff here are so amazing! Super friendly & accommodating front desk staff and attendants. I was so happy with this hotel I extended my stay. Highly recommend this hotel. I had a double queen bed room. It was clean, spacious and I had a view of the restaurants. Made it easy to decide when to head over, avoid the crowds.

Showed up at 4:05pm to check into room. Was told, that the rooms were not available at that time. Asked me if I wanted to wait? But, she was not sure when the rooms would be ready. We were able to check in at 9:30pm that night. I called around 7:00pm to check on room availability was told that she should not have told me that the rooms were not available. So, now I have lost 5 hours on my reservation time. So, not really happy about that. The room was clean, plenty of towels and this time it was actually quiet. In the past visits a lot of "door slammng" from other rooms. We like this hotel have stayed here over three (3) times. But, now I am not very happy..... You also need to add more channels on the tv.

It is a nice place for us to stay. We have travel to this place 3 time in one year from Idaho. Love the coffee and breakfast is the morning and drinks at night.

This property was perfect for a baseball weekend travel. The only downfall was the staff member that checked in. She was rude on several occasions and should not be in hospitality. It was obvious she was unhappy to be working.

On the pricier side, but the advantage of that is it keeps the motel crowd away. Much nicer guests who are not up all night partying or kids running up and down the halls. Everything was clean. They could do with a free breakfast at this price, though. Staff were polite and overall very good. I will come here again.

My wife and I stay here pretty regularly but seems new front desk person I was not happy with. It was our anniversary weekend I know I booked a king room and when we got to the room there were 2 beds. I called down and she said thats what you booked. She was not honest I showed what I booked and then siad we are sold out thats all we have for you. So going forward I may rethink our stay here anymore!

Checked in after being at Disneyland all day - the room was clean and had a microwave/fridge which was a great. It was a bit of a drive from the park but it was well worth it considering how quiet the area seemed. Parking was easy and there were tons of spaces available! Would definitely stay here again

Quiet hotel in Long Beach. FANTASTIC desk staff that gave great recommendations and travel information. Room was clean and comfortable. Fire sprinkler by the bathroom was a little sus. Bathroom door was super old and heavy as hell. A little janky, but not a deal breaker. I would stay at the property again without hesitation.

Left my watch behind and no one helped to see if it was still in the room receptionist kept hanging up on me so i couldn't speak to anyone there. Bad service

I was disappointed by the following: There was no complimentary coffee or water in the lobby. No breakfast was offered, other than items for purchase. There were no UCB ports in my room. The elyptical machine I used in the fitness center was old and quite noisy. The TV connected to the elyptical machine continuously froze. The Starbucks in the lobby did not use the Starbucks app. I will not stay in this hotel again. Instead, I will stay at the Hampton Inn, up the street. They have the amenities I've mentioned for the same price point.

Had a great stay! The room was very nice and super quiet. Check in was a breeze. Highly recommend.

People were nice but no free breakfast or coffee or tea. Just have a pot on the lobby! Also the fire alarms went off multiple times while we were there including twice in the middle of the night!

I LIKE THE SAFETY PLACE

Location makes it difficult to get into and out of the parking lot. The staff was polite when they had to be but indifferent or invisible otherwise. The "view" from the room was a rooftop walkway and a fence. The bathroom was small and oddly laid out. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. No breakfast service. They supposedly had a "bistro" but I didn't see one. Would not stay here again. Disappointed because Marriott used to be a high quality company.

Unfortunately, the issues didn’t stop there. In addition to the vomit stain, we found other stains that appeared to be blood, dirty nightstand drawers, and debris on the comforter. The next day, we returned from Disneyland late, around midnight, and checked out of the hotel Sunday morning. At that point, we informed the front desk about the vomit stain. However, instead of apologizing, the representative questioned why we hadn’t reported it earlier, despite us explaining the inconvenience of moving rooms late at night. She said she’d escalate the matter to the manager, who would contact us the next day. It’s now been three days, and I haven’t heard back from anyone. My fiancé is currently staying at the same hotel for a work trip and tried to address the issue directly with the manager. Unfortunately, he was told that because we booked through Hotels.com, we need to resolve the issue through them. I’m upset by the lack of cleanliness and the poor customer service and hope this review helps others!

Great option with very clean room, didn't have any issues whatsoever with my stay. The only downside is that you have to specifically request the room to be cleaned, but when I did, the room was cleaned daily.

Everything was good except for the air conditioner which rattled on the whole night through. It took me awhile to sleep.
