Reviews
The hotel received mixed reviews with guests appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. However, there were consistent complaints about the outdated rooms, small bathrooms, and additional charges for parking and breakfast.

Honestly was very impressed with this hotel they made the entire experience very simple and easy from parking to breakfast to check out the staff we’re all beyond friendly the room was super cute!! I would absolutely stay here again.
- 1/5
It’s over priced for such a old property that needs a lot of work done
- 4/5
The only issue was my tv was semi broken. Had a weird glare on it but everything else was great.
- 1/5
Hotel is not in a good part of town. Don't bother picking a room type or trying to check in on the app at this hotel either. If you can, pick somewhere else.
- 4/5
Very good
- 4/5
I like how they had a free breakfast and all day brewed coffee available. There was a pool that kids seemed to enjoy. Room was comfortable and staff seemed friendly. Only thing I thought I thought was odd is they charged $20 for hotel guest parking. It was not in a crowded downtown area or anything.
- 4/5
Everybody was very helpful and the location was great for us The free shuttle service was never available
- 5/5
Excellent location, clean, friendly, and this may be my favorite pool in DFW. A good deep end, shaded by the building and plenty of comfy seats. NA
- 5/5
The staff was so amazing!! The room was a great size, the bed was comfortable, the location was perfect! The cookies were delicious! If anything there could have been more tea bags and sugar in the room but that’s about it. Not even a big deal.
- 5/5
Clean and nicely put together Nothing it was great
- 5/5
Overall, great place to stay for the weekend.
- 2/5
For the same price, you can find much better options downtown. The biggest problem is the terrible soundproofing. I could clearly hear people talking, coughing, and even flushing the toilet in the next room. There was a connecting door between the rooms, and it felt like there was almost no noise insulation at all. I was unable to sleep. I went to the front desk to request a room change. The staff told us we could check out of both rooms the next day. I left some of my belongings in the original room and returned the next morning to collect them. While I was inside, housekeeping suddenly entered without knocking. Then the front desk staff spoke to us very rudely and demanded that we leave immediately, despite the fact that I had barely fallen asleep after 1 a.m. because of the noise. The breakfast was also disappointing. The fruit was not fresh, the coffee was weak and flavorless, and there were very few food options. Between the poor service, lack of privacy, terrible soundproofing, and low-quality breakfast, this hotel was not worth the money at all. I will never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Todo muy bien. Normal
- 4/5
I loved the cookies of course! The stay was okay, but it’s definitely time to do some renovations and updating. The pool area is not as pictured, the cushion covers were very old and worn out. The pool was nice though. It has potential to be very very nice with minor updates. The staff were nice and friendly.
- 4/5
It was a great stay! the only thing was the air conditioner turns on and off and sometimes it be hot for me and it only went down to 67 I believe
- 2/5
The Pool area. I never got my deposit back. I left the room clean and no damages. They charged me for parking at check in and then charged my card again for the parking fee a day after check out..duplicate charges. Then did not give me my $100.00 deposit back (They charge $50 per night.

Hotel was only okay, but would not stay here again. We had the world's smallest bathroom I've ever seen, the shower curtain had brown stains and the shower head would not stay in place making it extremely difficult to shower. Carpet in the room was pretty gross too.
- 5/5
Would definitely recommend and will be back soon
- 2/5
Came home to a new chargers on my credit card. Unsure what that’s about. Met friends and asked if there was a microwave I could use in the lobby and was told they had never seen one. Front desk clerk and bar tender both said no. Yet they allowed another guest to warm up their food, and actually warmed it up themselves! Brought it out steaming! Then proceeded to tell me when I asked why they didn’t allow me to warm my food they said they aren’t allowed.

The ac won’t go lower than 68 the fan won’t stay in the bathroom is tiny can’t get in with out door hitting you, wait hours for towels at the pool charge 20 dollars a day to park on top of the price and charges you 100 fee for incedentials
- 1/5
Poorly maintained, grout in the bathroom had mildew all over it, plumbing for the toilet showed holes on the wall, exhaust in the bathroom didn't work & would make it too hot to where you had to keep the door open while showering, room was overall small

Nothing. I did not enjoy my stay at all. The hotel felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and not suitable for a relaxing stay. The environment around the hotel was very concerning. There were people hanging around the property, which made me feel unsafe during my stay. The hotel did not feel clean, secure, or properly maintained. The room and bed were disappointing, and the overall experience was very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families or travelers looking for a safe place to stay.

Hotel was quite dated. While the check in was great- front desk friendly- the rooms were a bit worn out. Had issues with the drain in the shower as the water would not go down. Location was good as we were in town just one night for a concert at American Airlines. If you don’t plan on spending much time in the room- good option.

Only thing I didn't like was the parking situation

The pictures look better than the property itself but it was reasonably priced. The parking wasn’t great and you’re charged $20/night to park, which is crazy seeing as we’ve already paid to stay.

The bad: Upon entering my room on arrival, I found every drawer and the refrigerator door wide open. It was a bit unnerving honestly. But the room was clean. The bathroom in room 202 is in disrepair. The outlet is coming out of the wall, the tile is cracked... not a good look. The room was clean but I really didn't want to go in that bathroom.

This hotel was just down right disappointing. No house keeping service was provided and when asked why, the staff reported they do not clean rooms until check out. Which I found very puzzling . Then on top of this there was no a/c in the room and we had to move rooms at 10:48 at night with two children . Then to make matters worst. House keeping decides to come barging into our room without knocking at 10:30 am , when my kids were changing their clothes. How ridiculous. Terrible location . Prostitution and drug deals at all hours of the day and night . Half naked people and at least 15 ems and cops at the hotel next door. Do not recommend at all !!!!
- 5/5
It was a great stay

Exactly the way it looks online, very nice stay with welcoming staff at all hours. Everything was great! Only incredibly small hiccup was the conditioner not having been refilled but not a big deal at all.

Very bad location. Bad staff, dumb policies. All windows got broken at location during stay, paid for parking just to find out they aren’t responsible. lol a joke
- 5/5
I didn't like that you're not allowed to smoke. I think there should be permission to at least smoke on the balcony. Also, I wish there were chairs on the balcony, so I could rest and relax after a long day of tourism. Regardless, it was still a breath taking view.

- 4/5
Parking was a bit of a surprise as I apparently did not notice that it is a daily parking fee. I understand in prime locations having paid parking, but this seems out of place. Overall happy with the stay and location.
- 4/5
Don't have a lot negative to say in this review, but was slightly disappointed based on previous stays at Doubletree locations. Hotel was clean. Hot Water was HOT, AC was COLD. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Nice from hallway was okay - couple of loud guests, but mostly quiet. View out window was TERRIBLE - the raw view of the tarred roof of the conference center - UGH. Bathroom was WAY TOO SMALL. Staff was friendly & professional. Breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Enjoyed that it was centrally located to where I planned out for my trip. The staff were all very kind and professional The pool was extremely cold to swim in even in hot weather and the room was much smaller than I had anticipated based on the provided photos. The balcony that I paid extra for did not have the promised “nice city views” that I had expected.
- 4/5
The shower head leaks. They didnt really level the floor for both drains. It'll sit in front of the toilet. Should just supply the user with a wiper.
- 3/5

- 3/5
The room was great but no warning about the trees in the parking lot that will completely cover your vehicle in sap or some kind of leakage. It’s not just one or two spots. It’s thousands of drops and a headache I didn’t need included with my stay.

- 5/5
Staff was friendly and nice. Room was so clean when we arrived.
- 4/5
Room was clean but showed signs of age. Bathroom was uncomfortably small. Comfortable bed. Nice tv. Do choose a room on the pool side of the hotel as the street side has a lot of road noise. Plus, a concert venue directly across the street can be disruptively annoying.

Good location and appreciated the free cookie and bottled water. Bathroom was small, room was missing bath towels, and the parking lot is very large with a long walk to the hotel entrance. Room was noisy (elevator and car alarms), and the bed was quite firm.
- 5/5
Staff was nice cookies were awesome
- 2/5
Bed was slanted all the way to one side. Had back pain every day I was there
- 2/5
Bar and cafe was closed, AC didn’t begin to work until after it was below 40° outside and wasn't needed, toilet needed 3 flushes every time we used it, and no where on the website was there a disclosure about parking being $20/day. Not satisfied.

I reserved an "accessable" room because I an disabled. Their idea of accessable was putting a single grab bar in the tub. The door to the room was very narrow and my wheelchair barely fir through. the door to the bathroom was far too narrow and the bathroom itself was far too small for a wheelchair. If you were sitting on the toilet, you couldn't even close the door. Plus the toilet was so low that it looked and felt like it belonged in an elementary school instead of a hotel. I got a 2 bed room. The beds were extremely hard queen mattresses over a full size base. The pillows went flat as soon as you laid on them. And ALL of the handicap parking was blocked off! This was suppose to be a nice hotel. I could have gotten a better room at the motel 6 next door for much cheaper!!!

- 5/5
The welcome package was nice the warm cookies were even better
- 5/5
Seamless and accommodating
- 5/5
The overall stay was great. We were in town for a concert. The hotel was beautiful. It was clean and all supplies were stocked. The buffet breakfast was expensive for the selection but the food was good. There were only like 3 options other than the "general continental breakfast", I did not feel the options were adequate for the price. The AC in the room kept going off and swapping back to a higher temp. We would come in and it would be cool in the room, but during the times we were in the room it would get warm. One of the elevators were not working so it was inconvenient to have to wait 3 or more cycles to be able to access the elevator. The location was near where we were going and close to restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, very good experience. We will definitely stay again if in the area.

- 4/5
Room was clean and comfortable with the exception of the bathroom. Although clean, it was VERY tiny and old looking. Needs updating. Also, don't buy soda from their vending machines - they charge $5 for a small bottle of soda! Too cold to go in the pool, although I did see them clean it and it looked clean.
- 5/5
The property is very nice and convenient and breakfast is perfect. 10/10
- 5/5
Good!
- 5/5
Service was excellent rooms were clean. We had a great time.!
- 3/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. The property was middling at best for the price - I expected better at a Double Tree.
- 5/5
Private parking.
- 3/5
Was not offered the guest bag - I knew because another guest asked for it.
- 1/5
On top of that, whenever I ordered an Uber or Lyft, I had to walk out to the entrance because the gate was up — which makes no sense and is very inconvenient, especially at night. To make matters worse, they charge $20 per day for parking. For this area and the condition of the property, that’s just unreasonable. Overall, I would not stay here again or recommend it to anyone looking for comfort or value.
- 2/5
Just don’t! This hotel does not live up to other doubletrees that I have stayed In before in the past. The hotel appears to have been cheaply renovated. On the walk to our room the hallway had a “odd smell”. The bathroom was very tiny, only one person could fit in ours. The toilet would only flush all of the way half of the time and water pressure would surge, I also found a dirty hand rag sitting under the vanity that stayed in there until we left. We were on the top floor and away from the elevators but could still hear the elevator motors running all of the time. The area is not somewhere I would have felt comfortable with having children. The parking lot in the front is very tight I didn’t feel comfortable with parking my vehicle behind the hotel and you have to pay for parking. I told all of this to the customer service rep over the phone and she compt my parking and gave us food vouchers for breakfast which was good but did not take away from the fact the hotel had ruined my high expectations. I will look for other hotels before I use a Hilton property again.

Wasn't there to shop. I had to kill a couple roaches in my room the day i checked out. They did give me free parking but that didn't make up for the bugs. Bartender was terrible and rude! I will not stay there again. Also there was obvious prostitution going on. We saw a women go up stairs with a different man 3 times then come sit at nar and do it again . Gross!

Once we got to our room upon check-in, we found one double bed. My Hotels.com reservation paid for two double beds, yet the staff blamed the error on Hotels.com booking the wrong type of room. I was forced to pay - again - for the upgrade. The air conditioner worked well, but there was no way to keep the fan on, so we heard every single thing, including our neighbors yelling early in the morning (thin walls), a strange humming that seemed electrical in nature, and delivery trucks with music blaring before daybreak. Upon taking the first shower, we discovered that the body wash was either out or the pump jammed; we had to use the facial soap bar for our bodies. We will never stay at this hotel again.

Reserved king bed but received a double. Response from lady at desk was that rooms are assigned based on availability.
- 3/5
Shower drain was clogged on arrival. One elevator was down for duration of stay. Fitness facility was nothing more than a dumbbell rack and several treadmills with a peloton, ceiling was so low couldn’t do anything overhead. Rooms and bed were fine.

I’m not sure how this is doubletree. Upon checking in the front desk agent was rude. Only asked me my name and ID. No eye contact or anything. No explanation of amenities…literally nothing. Then only elevator was workinggrateful I was on the second floor. Rooms are smallish. Bathroom is tiny and outdated. The entire property could use a face lift. Dirty carpet, noisy hallways. Area around hotel even worse. Not sure where all the great reviews came from.
- 5/5
Amazing stay, very clean and staff was friendly.. location couldn’t be better also parking was easy with no hassle.
- 5/5
Great customer service, very clean, close to everything.
- 4/5
The hotel was nice. You get what you pay for. Parking was easy and available. Amenities were pretty nice. Many complementary items. Staff was super nice. The beds aren't the most comfy; had to switch my room because my initial one squeaked a lot. Bathrooms are very tight. Did not enjoy that but again you're getting what you pay for. Fairly close to many things.
- 5/5
The lobby and common areas were clean, modern, and inviting. My room was spacious, comfortable, and well-kept, with a super cozy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. The amenities were great — plenty of parking, a nice pool area, and a fitness center that was actually well-equipped. What really stood out was the staff. Every person I interacted with was friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything I needed. They made me feel like a valued guest, not just another traveler passing through. The location was perfect — close to downtown Dallas, the Design District, and plenty of restaurants and shops. It made getting around the city easy and stress-free. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ll definitely be returning next time I’m in Dallas and recommending it to friends and family.

Over all stay was good. I was a bit disappointed to find out there was a $20 parking fee per day after my reservations were no longer refundable. Other than that no complaints
- 4/5
Our shower head was broken but we rigged it up and I didn’t report it. There was also major noise disturbances from other guests that should have had the cops called on them, but wasn’t. The poor security guard did the best she could have.

Everything was nice!

We love staying at the doubletree. Such a nice hotel except this time there was a group of motorcyclists that were staying there, which is fine, except when they start their bikes, let them run, rev the engines and thump their music. It was so loud it was like we were outside with them. Most times they did this outside of quiet hours except for last night at 2 AM. Not a great sleep and extremely inconsiderate for those sleeping at the hotel.
- 3/5
However, it was extremely loud until 11 PM. The TV isn't able to be dimmed and was really bright. The bathroom was gross. Didn't feel clean, shower had a handicap shower chair sitting in it. The shower head sprayed awkward. There was a curtain, no door. The furniture was date.

Overalll really enjoyed my time. Simple hotel but wonderful
- 4/5
Nice hotel. Love the options, restaurant, bar, pool. Room was a little hot and AC would not go down below 69.
- 5/5
So awesome
- 2/5
Disappointed by the look of the hotel room. Very small and outdated.
- 3/5

The hotel is conveniently located. The staff was friendly.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a good stay. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but it was clean and the bed was comfortable.
- 5/5
Love the free water and cookies
- 5/5
Pool was good, but a little small, but still refreshing.
- 3/5
Property was not like the picture at all besides the pool area. Very dim lighting in east floor. Low ceilings, and very small rooms. Felt very uncomfortable and like we couldn’t even unpack our luggage because it would be too crowded in the room.
- 5/5
Love the front desk and the service
- 5/5
This property spoiled me in the best ways. I still dream about those plush bed pillows. I was mostly surprised by the shower at this property. That shower was like hydrotherapy & I am obsessed. Thnx yall.
- 3/5
My stay was fantastic but I’m tired of getting placed in a handicap room Hotels.com!Do better!
- 2/5
Below my expectations for a DoubleTree. The inside of the hotel is ok and outside looks dirty.
- 5/5
Nice clean property. Have stayed previously and will continue. Not crazy about paying to park
- 5/5
Good breakfast… very good experience!
- 5/5
Their hotel was a pleasant stay. I will be planning to return in the future.
- 5/5
Great stay. Clean, comfortable room and helpful, friendly staff. We stayed one night to attend a concert at Dallas Silo, which is within walking distance. The approximately 15 min. walk to the venue was along a nice paved trail that had sufficient lighting that we felt safe enough to walk back when the concert was over at 2 am. There were also a couple of great restaurants within walking distance.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 3/5
Shuttle was great, hotel felt very old. Reason for staying was to catch a game at the AAC - good location for that, easy walk into downtown in the daytime.
- 3/5
Night Security rude to guest Need upgrades in the bathroom
- 5/5
Everyone was amazing absolutely no complaints from check in til check out the trip was worth and the service I received at the hotel was more than expected will definitely highly recommend and will make this my first choice to stay upon another trip
- 3/5
$20 paid parking everyday just for it to be packed on the weekend. There was one working elevator the entire stay and like I mentioned it got packed on the weekend. $50 to stay later on checkout day. So yeah I give it 2/5 poor hotel under the circumstances of being there on a 4 day stay for a concert.
- 5/5
The staff was very polite and helpful even at check out
- 4/5
This was my first time staying at DoubleTree. It was a great experience. Property was clean, staff were friendly and attentive. Quite enjoyable trip.
- 4/5
Everything was great except one thing … I’m glad I got 2 beds because r first one I chose had a blood stain in the sheets. Other than that everything was great!
- 5/5
Room super clean, staff welcoming ! Of course great cookie !
- 5/5
We stayed for 2 night. It was easy check on and out. Pool was nice and delicious restaurant across the street
- 4/5
Nice but also tired hotel. 3 or 4 star. Fair value for money
- 5/5
Perfect location for downtown Dallas. The hotel has open, clean facilities with everything you need in one stop. I will continue to be a returning customer!
- 3/5
The breakfast was good and the staff was nice.
- 2/5
Dirty ran down very uncomfy beds
- 4/5
Location was great, close to the activities we wanted to do. Room was clean and comfortable, bathroom is a bit on the small side. The youtube app on the tv defaults to only hilton content and we had to google how to get out of the hilton screen to sign into our personal youtube account. It was mostly quiet at night but the walls are thin so you could hear the guests moving around in the mornings. There is a bbq spot across the street that has live music outdoors, you can hear it from the hotel but it wasnt a huge issue for us. The pool is nice and clean, open later than most hotel pools as well. Overall a good stay!
- 4/5
It was good. We enjoyed our stay overall and had a good time going to the concert we were in town for. There is a little to be desired in that within the first five minutes of arrival we witnessed a seemingly under the influence homeless person chase two pedestrians down the street right across from us. Everyone was okay but it did affect our perception of the place. The location isn't the best in our opinion I guess.
- 2/5
The property is very dated and not well taken care of. The TV kept losing connection and features in the room didn’t work how we needed. The lighting was also not ideal for needing to get ready for an event.

- 5/5
It was close to everything.
- 3/5
Bathrooms little. Rooms small but it was clean and doable for the weekend
- 4/5
Property was a bit dated. Had hoped for an indoor pool but oh well. Beds were VERY soft. It was quiet even being right next to the elevator. Overall the price was for the convenience.
- 2/5
Checked in and room that was originally given the TV did not work and a party was going on in the room next to ours. We were able to switch to another room but only one with two double beds instead of the King bed originally requested. Then the new room given the shower head was leaking and only came to chest level. The toilet also looked like something in a truck stop. Room smelled old and stale.
- 3/5
room cleanlieness could improve
- 5/5
Staff were very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Comfort
- 3/5
Convenient for my conference nearby. Clearly an older property with the associated run down vibe, but the pricing was reflective of this so no complaints.
- 1/5
Absolutely the worse!!!! It was bedbugs and they never refunded my money! Charged me for two nights and I did not stay the second night!!!!manager never returned my call or anything! I want my money back for both nights!
