    Stayed in room 414 and the tile was broke on the bathroom, the sink water had to be forced off every time or it would run, and the condition bottle glued to the wall fell off and scared us to death. The halls smelled yucky and most things smelled like weed. I understand that you don’t know people will smell like weed online but air fresher should be a multi day occurrence. It was just gross.

    Great hotel in a great location. Restaurant looked great. Didn’t eat so I can’t comment on that. Waters, drinks & snacks displayed so good and good selection. Room very clean. Love the nightlight in bathroom.

    The cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. The furnishings and bathrooms all seem recently renovated. The staff were exceptionally friendly. I was in and out of the hotel a few times a day and the front desk staff always looked up and greeted me coming and going. The check in process was smooth and very professional. During the evening and at night there was a security vehicle that was patrolling regularly. I had read some other reviews prior to choosing this hotel that referenced a security concern but I thought it was well lit and felt safe. It was clear to me that the management of this hotel were on their game. The only slight negative that I experienced was that the fitness room was lacking and out of date.

    I was turned away due to the type of card I used. I was told that a Mastercard was required, even though I had already used my Chime card to complete the booking. Chime operates on the Visa network, and this was not flagged as an issue at the time of reservation. If this is truly your policy, then these types of cards should not be accepted during the booking process, regardless of whether the reservation is made directly or through a third-party company. Third-party platforms should also be kept up to date on any policy requirements, so customers are properly informed in advance. I was not offered any alternative solutions, despite having driven several hours for what was supposed to be a simple vacation. This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. customer service

    Room was clean but some issues. The sliding door to the bathroom was very hard to use and allowed little privacy. The tub faucet ran eternally with no way to completely stop the flow. Pillows left much to be desired. Breakfast is restaurant style and not included in stay, plus pricey for what is received. Staff is very helpful and the property is generally clean albeit somewhat noisey.

    The receptionist that checked me in told me I could have a late check out but the next morning when I called to confirm I was told there would be a $50 charge if I didn’t leave by noon. Poor communication. Loud construction was going on until late and early morning.

    The place is good, great location, and wonderful staff. The room is just a bit tired. A refresh would be great. Lotta chipped paint and furniture. Wouldn’t be huge but would really finish it off. Really a good place.

    Quiet, clean, friendly staff, lovely room. We loved the purple touches throughout, and the bow on the toilet paper, but the hotel didn't feel too fancy either. Even the pool area and its restroom were clean and well stocked. Only bad moment was when I realized there was only decaf coffee in the room, and the cleaning lady only had more decaf on her cart. But I discovered the fresh, hot coffee downstairs and crisis was averted! Not much. The restaurant was closed Sunday night, which while a slight inconvenience, wasn't the hotels fault.

    I was disappointed with our stay. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was for the indoor pool. I had two teenagers with me and we arrived at the hotel about 7. Planning to let them swim for the evening…. But pool was out of order😫. Went to take showers.. my daughter go into the shower and the body wash bottle was completely empty. I had to hunt someone down to get more. I was last to go take a shower after everyone was asleep but I didn’t have a towel. There were only 3 and there was 4 of us. Late that night the toilet became clogged and we were without a toilet all night. 😫Staff was very nice and welcoming and room was clean.

    Once we finally got into a room it seemed clean but then we loss power to half the room. The lobby was also nice included a little store that had a pretty good variety. I received an email the night before that allowed you to check in, select your room and use the digital key which would allow you to skip the desk. I did and requested the key. The message said I would be notified when the room and key was ready. Cool. So we go about our business the next day taking in the sights while we waited on the key. Then it passed 3, which is check in time, and no key. I tried to contact the hotel via the app and no response. We get to the hotel I go check in, the lady says that the system had been messing up, okay. Got the key and proceed to our room 208. We opened the door and the ironing board is out with the plugged in iron on top. We froze thinking we were in the wrong room. Then as we looked around used towels were on the floor in the bathroom, the bed was unmade with head dents in the pillows, towels were draped across a chair. The room hadn't been cleaned. So we go tell the front desk and we have to wait an hour before we get a room. Im not sure who this male employee was but he was trying to imply that I was lying about the room, the front desk lady shut tht down, and I told him for safety reason he probably needed to go up there and unplug the iron bc it was still on as we ddnt touch anything just backed out. Finally an hour later we were given a different room a double instead of the king, but they were out and we were tired and didnt want to wait anymore. We get to the room and it seems fine. Then after being there for an hour or so all the electric outlets, lights and phone on the wall with the beds stopped working. I used my cell to try and call the front desk multiple times but noone answered. We just took it because we were tired and ready to relax. The lady at the front desk had told me that she would speak with the manager about our issue and that she would call me in the morning to do something to compensate the issue. We heard back 2 days later and they gave us points as compensation.

    I love the safety and comfort. Room 215 the seal around the tiles are broken in the entry way and in front of the closest. They nearly come completely out of place. Thought I was going to fall multiple times when I would forget and step on the tiles.

    The hot tub was out of service. The pool was open, but it gets a little too chilly in that pool room to enjoy the pool. We tried and got right back out. There were a couple minor updates and fixes that the property could make, but overall the hotel suited our needs and was clean and comfortable.

    The room hadn’t been dusted. I could wipe thru and make a line in the dust with my finger. In the bathroom hair was piled in the corners under the vanity. Coffee pods were not replenished. I did go to front desk and let them know.

    We didn't do breakfast at the hotel since there were better cheaper places close around. They dont have any type of shuttle which would have been nice since we were traveling but we use uber. Also our room was book for 4 people and we only had 2 towels we asked for more and never got them. you could tell the room had either just been finished being renovated or was about 90% done, painters tape on the wall, every fixture in the bathroom was loose you had to slam the sink facet down to get it to stop leaking. the tile behind the coffee bar/ fridge area wasn't finished. One of the beds wasn't sitting proper on the base/frame so we had to call maintance for that as well. Nothing crazy or major but I noticed it so I know others will to. it looked like a DIY at a relatives house not a Hilton. also about an hr before check out the tv just stopped working? was that on purpose? just weird.

    Room abovebours was extremely loud. Room needed some maintenance! The toilet paper holder was broken the water faucet was extremely hard to turn on and off. Toilet wasn't clean. We normally stay next door but they were full so we opted to stay with you, wont happen again.

    We tried to check in at 1pm and no king rooms were available, when back at 10pm there was an unhappy customer requiring both desk clerks and the manager, the problem unknown to us. When we got to the counter the one clerk started laughing…it seems that customer wanted a king room and mine was the last one. The manager wanted to give my room away since I hadn’t checked in yet, despite it being fully paid for. But fortunately the clerk had awareness of some people arriving late and said no, my timing was obviously perfectly timed. But be aware of late arrivals here, you run the risk of your reservation being given away to walk ups.

    There were no blinds in my room. Two of the different lights in the room didn’t work at all and the bathroom door was a sliding door and was stuck in place and couldn’t be closed. The hotel was notified and there was no other room available to move us to so we had to stay in this room. They sent maintenance to the room and they said there had to be a work order put in for these things to be fixed and it would be the next day before it could get done. Beyond upset with this stay.

    The first room they put me in had a strong cigarette smoke odor. So they got me another room. That room had a dingy odor but it was tolerable. I was tired so I didn't care at that point. Then the next day I was trying to take a nap and there was banging right outside my door and I was told they were changing the carpet out. They shouldn't have put me on that floor after they screwed up and put me in a room that had cigarette smoke in it. It was not a very pleasant experience. The beds were not very comfortable either. The customer service in front desk ladies were very nice. But I asked to speak to a general manager about maybe comping my room and I never got a call.

    Our experience was disappointing because when we first arrived they put us in a room that the lights did not work. We went back down to the desk and they changed us to another room. This time the back half of the room lights did not work. They told us that they would get it fixed; but it never happened. Our stay was supposed to be 3 nights; but we left after the second night

Beds were uncomfortable and even though there was a fan in the bathroom there was no switch for it and taking a shower made the bathroom unbearable to be in.

    When I arrived it took forever to check in because the chip reader would not work. After about 15 mins of trying to use my card I used tap method & it worked. That was very frustrating. I hated the bathroom sliding door. There was no real privacy in the bathroom. The shower drain was clogged, took forever for the water to go down. It was a very clean room. The hotel was clean and staff was nice Spacious. Parking was great. Please remember to put that slip on your dash because people were getting towed in the middle of the night for not having that slip. I would definitely stay here again.

    Overall the Hilton Garden Inn North was pretty good. Liked the free parking and the front desk staff was really great. I would rate the property higher but having a broken elevator and a broken ice machine made for some inconvenience. The location is very convenient and very little road noise.

    There were 4 of us in our double queen room, we only got 3 towels/washcloths. We asked for another set, and were told they didn't have ANY. Hotel was not full by any stretch, wide open parking and saw very few guests when we were there. Front desk and housekeeping said there were no towels or washcloths, and there was nothing they could do about it. It was completely bizarre, like going to a restaurant, your food comes out and they tell you there's no utensils to eat with. Towels are a BASIC necessity at a hotel. How could they not have ANY in the entire hotel? It made no sense. One person in our group did not get to shower, which is unacceptable when you've paid for a room for 4. I've never experienced that before, and not one employee was interested in providing a solution. One guest checking out said we could have their unused towels - IMAGINE this! It was strange to say the least, and unacceptable at best.

    We liked your staff. You happened to have some issues while we were there... a bad smell in the bar and lobby. Also, breakfast was not served one of the mornings (although it was okay to go next door). Very loud in the lobby while a party was going on in your banquet room. Your beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet for sleeping.

    One of the cleanest hotels-everywhere. Lobby restrooms clean, smelled good and personals if you needed. Bar very nice bartender so nice. Had a restaurant but I didn’t eat but there were several tables. Will definitely stay here every time I’m coming to Dallas.

    Convenient location, friendly young man at the desk for our late check-in. Nice underground parking. My granddaughter enjoyed the indoor pool. Only downside is the sliding door to the bathroom stuck and was very difficult to open or close.

    This hotel needs routine maintenance. The dark shade on the window did not stop until it was almost to the floor. The bathroom sink faucet did not turn off. The water spigot on the tub was falling off. The hot tub is very dirty.

    The hotel was nice but the bathroom could have been cleaner, the hot tub was not working, bugs in my room, the restaurant was not open and the elevator stayed dusty and dirty , On New Year’s Eve the bartender turned me down after 2 drinks and I’m staying in the hotel. Just a very uncomfortable, unpleasant, unhappy visit. I requested a refund immediately.

    Prefer this one because of their excellent bartenders and certain front desk young Lady. This time we had no issues until this morning. I awoke before my hubby to shower and was trapped in the shower until i was able to scream loud enough to wake him up. The shower sliding door was stuck and off track. It was hard To close at first but i didnt think anything of it. My hubby had to remove the door completely to get me out. I usually travel Alone and had i been alone, I would have been trapped in there till well after checkout when housekeeping came to clean. Thank Goodness that didnt happen. When i checked out and interrupted what looked to ge a personal phone call with the lady at front desk. Her response was simply ill inform maintenance and that was it. Let me Also mention for the last year and a half i have tried to use the indoor heated pool as they always say it’s working and it is not heated STILL and unable To be used. Unsatisfactory to say the least. The amenities are included in the price but i did not get my money worth. Also never have the adult beverages you advertise and always run out Of food or appetizers every time. DO BETTER HILTON. SincereLY EXPEDIA AND HILTON MEMBERS

    Upon arrival, I was informed that they did not have a room for me and said they had been trying to get a hold of me all day. They reserved a room for me next door that is a Hilton owned hotel next door. Told them if I wanted to stay there, I would have a reservation there. I have stayed at Hampton in the past and had my reasons for wanting to change.

    The front desk staff as well as the GM, Hilarie spent their time explaining why they didn’t NEED to offer the most basic of services: bottled water for Hilton Honors and follow through on requested housekeeping instead of just owning the missteps and fixing the problem. Terrible customer experience and it would appear to be based on lack of basic training.
