    2. One elevator was down when I got there, The other went down the day I was leaving, I had to carry my bags from the 7th floor. 3. The property hadn't been mowed or trimmed, for at least a month. 4. The pool was unusable and disgusting. 5. The staff did not care not about any of it.

    It was really an awful experience. We really thought it would be a nice place to stay by looking at the pictures, but it was really bad. Not at all clean. The whole hotel was smelling like smoke and the staff was not at all friendly when I asked that we want to cancel the booking and go to a different hotel. They were mean and hateful. This was the first and last time staying at la quinta. I will not recommend this place to anyone. Very bad experience.

    The check in staff was very helpful and friendly. The room smelled of urine and mildew. The bathtub had a fairly bad constant drip, the pool area was dirty, and the water was green. The walls are very thin, and you can hear everything happening in a room from the hallway. The room was otherwise clean, and the room served its purpose for the night that we needed it.

    Pet area in front of air-conditioner causing a smell of urine. Drug addicts running amuck. Room not clean upon arrival. Not notified of three day cleaning policy. After three days requested room to be be cleaned, given attitude. Room still wasn't cleaned. So disgusted left 2 days early after paying for 7 days. This all while my mom lay dying in the hospital.

    Clean rooms, comfortable beds. Morning staff the next day, the little girl had a neck pillow comes out of the back office and with an attitude says yes? She did not get her full sleep the prior night. She was in a bad mood. Completely messed up the experience when it was going so well.

    Nothing Our back glass got busted out of our truck the very first night of our stay. When asked for a refund front desk told us to contact the manager. When reporting that ours and other vehicles on the property were as well busted out/broken into the front desk told us to make a police report and that there were 9 automobiles with windows busted out just the week before!! Our stay was horrible

    We found hair on the "clean" towels, the elevators were all broken and the pool wasn't clean enough to swim in. The only positive was the front desk workers were very nice and apologetic for everything which was out of their capabilities. Not worth money.

    The mattresses and pillows were old and uncomfortable. The rooms were kind of weird, with strange angles and cabinets that didn't close properly. It was unclear how to find a channel on the tiny TV. The pool was closed, likely because of poor maintenance. The AC would cycle constantly, blowing cold air on the bed one minute, then nothing the next, so that it was impossible to find a comfortable level of covers (a common occurrence at cheap hotels). Breakfast was OK, but not kept as well stocked as some similar hotels I've stayed at.

I won't stayed there again. The location was OK, but a vehicle had the window broken one day prior of my arrival, when I asked the front desk, he said that happened often in the area..

    For the price, it was a decent hotel. The room was in good shape, a nice size and the beds were comfortable. However, the property itself is kind of worn. It needs some fresh paint and new carpeting. My only real complaint is that only one of the two elevators were working and our room was on the 7th floor!

    The pictures on expedia were not current! The facility was filthy. The place reeked of mildew and soiled carpet.. there were roaches dead in the hallways.. a pool that was brown… broken elevators and ice machines.. cracks in the wall .. broken faucets in the tub.. an air conditioner that showed what appeared to be droppings of some sort and a TV the size of a computer monitor that barely worked… and by the way this was the executive suite! I have reached out through many avenues including Expedia with no reply nor refund for this horrible experience.

    The hotel is not as pictured — likely the photos are over 10+ years old. Only one elevator was operational on the far south end of the building. It’s not a ADA accessible building. The room was clean, but in very worn condition. The bathtub was stained, the vanity was detaching from the wall, the bathroom door was broken, and the shower pressure was weak. The refrigerator in the room was missing all the selves and had hair in it. The hotel sits along a busy highway, so rooms facing the highway had earbuds because it is constantly noisy. The hotel gym had missing equipment than pictured - the only weight machine was broken and the air conditioner did not work in the gym. The pool was green. It’s Texas, so lots of roaches outside in the pool, patio, and dog areas at night. Breakfast had the basics, but only dairy products were available. Parking was plentiful and shady spots available. There is only one entrance to the hotel that is open but it is not well marked, so getting into the parking lot is difficult (Google Maps will lead you to the wrong entrance). It’s a one way street and takes about 10 minutes to circle back to the entrance. All the guests I encountered were very friendly, respectful, and quiet. Given the condition of the hotel, this is more of a 2-star hotel. The base price is too high given the conditions. I would only recommend booking if heavily discounted.

    There is no indoor pool as advertised, and the outdoor pool was cloudy and did not appear well maintained. The bathroom floor in our room had peeling remnants of old tub coating all over it, and the shower/tub combo looked extremely outdated and heavily worn. To make matters worse, there was standing urine and toilet paper left in the toilet upon arrival, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The room also had an unpleasant odor, the TV remote barely functioned, and the desk chair was completely worn out with peeling leather exposing different colors underneath. My wife ended up leaving the property to stay with family because she was so uncomfortable. I only stayed because the reservation was non-refundable. Overall, this property is in serious need of cleaning, maintenance, and updates.

Lighting in the room was very dim. Only 1 elevator worked. Pretty sure there was a drug deal or hookers going on in 1 of the rooms. The soap, shampoo and conditioner were mediocre at best and left your skin feeling sticky. Pillows were very flat and the mattress should have been replaced a long time ago.

    While I was at this property neither of the two elevators worked. I had to walk up seven (7) flights of stairs to get to my room. The receptionist in the evening said I could have a late check out, but the morning receptionist refused to let me. Bad communication! The breakfast was okay. I would not recommend this hotel.

    The main elevator was out of order. We were on the 4th floor & wanted to do laundry on 1st floor (2nd is the main level). The elevator went down to laundry, but you had to take stairs back up. Only 1 washcloth in the room. No TV remote. Highway noise all night long. Breakfast was luke warm at best. Would not recommend this property. Staff was courteous but not enough to make up for the poor condition of the facility.

    elevators were out of order. There was no housekeeping provided. Requested towels/toilet paper then they ask me to go pick them up at the front desk and when I went they said it would be more than an hour before they could provide, The hall ways and reception area together with the dining area were crowded and very noisey because there were several i gues what was highschool atheletes staying there. I would have liked to know this information and would not have stayed there.

    Noisy at night I had a ranting screaming woman in a room near me and nearly called the police because it felt like she was targeting a younger person in the room with her. Two nights of that.     VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION - Beware of this hotel. When we checked in, we were given a key to a room that turned out to be occupied by a homeless man, who came to the door in his underwear. The staff said they had no knowledge of him being in the room but said there was nothing they could do about it. They were not at all surprised, which gave us the impression this is a frequent occurrence. They simply said the rooms "are very easy to break into". The staff said there were no other rooms available for us, and so we had to find a different hotel. Very dangerous. Do not stay here.

    I was staying on the first floor and there was a 3 chime beeping sound that would go off every 40 seconds. Not sure if the ear plugs that were provided on the bedside table were because of that or because my room was on the first floor. It was extremely distracting and made it hard to fall sleep. If I hadn’t gotten to my room so late at night, I would have asked to switch my room. I spoke to a person on the phone about it the next day and she didn’t seem to concerned about my complaint.

    We were very pleased with the lighting in the room. Lots of lamps and overhead lights. The bed and pillows and bedding were great. But best of all was breakfast. We were surprised to see bacon and scrambled eggs along with the usual hotel breakfast items. The price was very reasonable. The refrigerator was larger than must hotel refrigerators and had a microwave also. The furniture was not modern but in good condition. We had two night stands which I find uncommon in many hotels. There was no hand lotion but the rest of the usual amenities were in the bathroom. It was a handicap bathroom with a large walk-in shower with a shower chair and several shower heads at different levels. Very impressed with the shower.

Istayed here 3 years ago and the outside was in much better condition. That may be the reason for the low occupancy.It was well worth the79.00 . I did not sleep in the bed so i cannot comment on that. Ibring my own chasis lounge chair fromhome when i travel. It is like sleeping in my recliner at home. No bugs, no lumps,goodnight sleep. If im travelling with my lady ill spend the extra money and get a nice place to bump and grind.

    I checking in and checked a few hours later. The place was run down, out dates, smelled. The pictures on line did not match the photos on hotels.com app. One broken elevator, ceiling texture falling off, everything needed to be painted inside and out. I should have known when I pulled up in the parking lot when I a police tower with cameras was set up in the parking lot this wasn'tthe best place. I told the front desk that I found a better hotel and I was checking, he didn't even offer any type of refund. I will never stay there again and I may start using another hotel search website.

    The elevators and the ice machines were broken for one. We had to use the stairs, which was a bit challenging for my daughter who has mobility issues. Also, our room was not clean. There was a tobacco packet stuck to the wall. There was stains on our sink, also cobwebs, etc. our bathroom light was partially out. Really not acceptable. We have used this hotel for years and this was the worst day we have had. We will not be coming back.

    Terrible conditions… the property it self is ran down. Definitely not kept up with. There’s crackheads everywhere. They keep the doors propped open with rocks so that their people can come in and out when they please. The elevators are broken so you have no choice but to take the creepy stairwell. My window had huge holes in the screens where it appeared someone had climbed through at some point. The room smelled terrible and the door frames were sketch. There was a gap in the door and the lock where it appeared maybe someone had wedged something through before to enter. Do not stay here.

Our room was on the 7th floor facing the highway. They provided earplugs that should have been the first clue. They did not help. Highway noise pretty much all night. Motorcycles!

    This place was disgusting! I was greeted by a smooshed cockroach in front of the front desk 5 seconds in to my stay. The elevator was not working and was not told by the front desk person even after explaining that the elevator will take me down to the first floor but must use the stairs to come back up. The place smelled gross and everything seemed dirty and stains were everywhere- the door, the carpet, etc.

    Cked in late.started to wind down around 12am.. pulled back bed covers , an discussed at what i saw.. The sheets had a 10 inch circle of blood , totally from a woman's period. Plan a simple i pulled sheets off went down stairs to show them and complain. The guy at the desk acted like nothing was wrong... i axked for full set of new clean sheets. I told him i have photos and will be down tomorrow to speak to manager... Went down early spoke to a young girl at desk, told her what happened and how discussed i was , and i will be cking out.     Property and hotel are fine however it's the second time I stayed here recently that the elevator wasn't working and there was very little hot water if any at all. Also found three bugs in the room. I was on the ground level so they really could have just wandered in from outside and not because of the hotel being poorly kept. Place's always very clean and staff is always friendly. I had come down to ask about the hot water but there was a person at the desk that needed a pretty extensive amount of help, it was taking a really long time so I just decided to deal with it and went back to my room.

    First, the positives. The room was clean and kept up and the staff was friendly. Sadly, not my best stay on my many trips to DFW for work. The noise was to be expected, given the location. The hotel actually proved earplugs in the room lol! My biggest gripe is the air conditioner wouldn’t quite get cold enough for my liking and the water in the shower was no where near hot. It was warm enough to be “not cold”, but definitely cool enough to be a jump in and jump out situation. All-in-all, very minor inconveniences, so I would be willing to come back. I just hope the water heater is turned up and ac is serviced before my next stay!

    Hotel smelled like urine so did the room. After a 5 hour drive and it already bein midnight I stayed. First thing in the morning I asked for a different room and was given a room on the 3rd floor. We could access the elevator from the 1st floor. I asked for a refund and checked out.     Only one elevator in the facility was operable. You had to go from the extreme front of the facility to the far back to get an elevator that was in working order. We were on the 6th floor and my husband is disabled so this was a real problem and the stairs weren't a option. There was no working ice machine on the sixth or fifth floors so the closest ice was on the 4th floor. The room needed work on almost ever thing from the loud rumble in the a/c system to the worn paint. The couch sounded as if it would fall down when you sat and the desk chair and corner chair were extremely worn. There was no mat to make the bath tub safe to shower in. This hotel is badly in need of a total rehab. I was there during the extreme freeze and employees parked their vehicles under the covered load and unload areas which made it difficult to get in and out especially someone using a cane on ice. There were back entry doors which would have put us closer to the room but were told those entries were unavailable to use. The staff we interacted with were pleasant which is why I gave it an extra star in the rating.

    The room is exactly what I expected it to be. The housekeepers need room inspectors to come in after them to make sure all hair is completely picked up, I found a lot a hair on the bath towels. I use to be a housekeeper for Marriott and that's 1 thing that our supervisor did not tolerate seeing hair on anything. The breakfast was just a big sized waffle shaped like the state of texas and besides that is was muffins and juice and cereal and eggs nothing more than that. No meat at all. They have Bible in the drawer besides the bed, which I am glad they did haven't seen a Bible in a room in a while. My stay was enjoyable.

    The hotel’s location was not ideal, and the entrance was difficult to find. The hallway lighting was very dim, which made the property feel uninviting. Inside the room, the curtains were stained and did not appear well maintained. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my stay.

    The staff was very rude. It was a young lady and what seemed to be the manager and older guy, Unfortunately it looked that both lacked people’s skills and have no customer service etiquette. The water pressure in the shower was super low, the water temperature couldn’t be adjusted. The hairdryer was broken. I reported that and nothing was done. The elevator wasn’t working when checking out had to use stairs when taking luggage downstairs. The hotel looks deteriorated it definitely needs some remodeling. I had previously stayed in this hotel multiple times but I will think twice before booking again here.

    The hotel was dirty— lots of deferred maintenance — one of the two elevators was broken, the second one only partially functioned; the ice machine on our floor had a sign on it that it was “temporarily out of order” that looked like it had been there for quite a while; the front desk person who checked us in did not tell us that there would be no housekeeping unless we stayed 3 days, and overall the same person checked us out as well & came across as very dismissive. Perhaps she could benefit from customer service training or find job she would enjoy more.

    This is our second time staying on this property and will be our go to choice from now on. Check in was quick and when I asked if there was any coffee or if it was just for breakfast, front desk employee insisted on making me a fresh batch instead of making my own in my room. This time we got a room on the highway side and there were earplugs on the nightstands. Luckily we did not need them.

    Staff was excellent My former stay everything was clean and the bed slept good and staff was wonderful as usual. I didn’t complain I just took a bath at my son’s house I slept sideways at the foot of the bed and had a good stay. I went to Denny’s for breakfast but Laquita’s breakfast is always satisfying.     This hotel was not as marketed. Parking was easy, but very concerning when numerous cars in the parking lot had broken windows with bags over them and there was glass all over the ground. My car was not damaged while parking there on a week night, but I was certainly concerned. The hotel is quickly falling into disrepair. The door to my room was damaged and you could see through a rather wide crack into the hallway. The pool was closed, even when the front desk clerk specifically told me it was open. I would not choose to stay here again with numerous hotels available on the same street.

    Stayed here because it was cheap and regretted it. Lobby is very nice and clean but killed at least 10-15 baby roaches in our room. Breakfast was very simple. Carton eggs and pre cooked bacon, waffle maker, toast, cereal and some muffins and fruit. Would not stay here again.

    Noise was another major issue — heavy traffic right outside the window made it hard to sleep, and the walls are thin enough to hear everything from the neighboring rooms. Getting to and from the property is also awkward; even grabbing food nearby meant looping under the freeway and back around, which was frustrating. On the positive side, the front desk staff were friendly and having a fridge in the room was convenient. Unfortunately, that’s about the only highlight. Overall, not a very comfortable stay. stay

    Its an older property and should be renovated. Rooms are very roomy but outdated. They really need to adjust where you enter the property. When you exit the freeway, you need to be very careful to swing all the way to right immediately to enter through the back gate if it's open, otherwise you'll need to circle back and its a long way to circle back. Otherwise what we did was to take one exit early, which solved this but your GPS won't tell you this!

    We had a 1& 3 year old. They put us on 4th floor, dark hallway and dirty carpet. Room had earplugs on table, thought it was weird but then tried to go to bed and figured out why. 1 & 3 year old do not wear earplugs. UP ALL NIGHT due to the highway noise, found 2 baby cockroaches in our bathroom and then when we decided we were not going to stay another night, we checked the bedding to make sure we packed everything and my daughters sheets had blood stains on them. Sheets were washed but had what appeared to be blood stains. The elevator was dirty. Just not clean. Very disappointing for a La Quinta. They did refund our 1 night we did not stay after calling multiple times. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

    The room was dirty, tv’s didn’t work, my car got broken into literally right in the parking lot , so of course I asked about the cameras & to see what I needed to do to obtain footage. they were no help. Actually All the staff i experienced during my stay were extremely rude except the young man that was there when I checked in that evening.     Trust the bad reviews. I travel a lot for work and have stayed at other La Quintas with no problems. We should have not had our experience especially for the price. Place was dirty. We couldn’t even shower but started getting ready for bed when roaches started coming out and bugs crawling IN the bed. Plus area seemed unsafe. We observed car window glass in parking lot. Possibly worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

    Checked in 9/25/25 the blk lady with glasses checked me in, gave us room 408. When we went to our room, there was roaches all over. I called downstairs and told the lady that there was roaches in the room and she told me to come back downstairs to get a different room so then I went downstairs and I asked her was a roaches all over the building and she said no there is not roaches in every room and that there was a note on the computer saying that there were roaches in room 408 and 409 so she gave us a new room and now we are in room 304 I go in that room and there are roaches in the bathroom at that point. I left the hotel earlier than I was supposed to and no one was at the front desk so I could not tell anyone about the roaches on the third floor, but if there are roaches on the fourth floor and the third floor, then that means there are roaches in all of those rooms not to mention the bed was hard as rock. I did not get any sleep the first night I stay there I will never go back to that hotel ever again, and I am going to dispute the charge.

    You couldn’t program thermostat in room to go below 65 degrees, and it was burning up in there at night. We had it set as low as possible and there’s no way it was actually 65 degrees in there. Couldn’t even sleep with the comforter on the bed it was so hot. Also, the noise from the traffic/highway was insane. It sounded like the bed was right out on the highway. Will never stay there again. We also found 2 bugs in the bathroom crawling around.

    The room did not look anything like the single picture of it that was available on the website, there was dried vomit on the carpet by the desk, water stains on the wall by the elevator, and a crack pipe in the stairwell. I booked the room for two nights but left after just one because there was no way I was staying at this hotel any longer.

    The staff was very nice and helpful. The hotel seems older, but they have kept it looking nice. The pool is outdoors, but out of view of the highway/parking and fenced, so it feels private.     When we first arrived, the staff was very friendly and helpful and registering online made it a smooth check in. As we made our way to our room we saw how the place was pretty old and run down. Thats not what I'm use to seeing when staying at a La Quinta Inn. I was pretty disappointed with my room, it was out dated and smelled like cigarettes when it was supposed to be non-smoking. The AC didn't work that well, the carpet was sticky, there was no blow dryer, no extra towels.The elevator didn't work properly and the breakfast was okay. I was not impressed with my over all stay and will not be staying here in the future. It wasn't worth the price of my three day stay.

    The ADA accessable door on lower level did not work from outside. We were almost forced to go to the main door after hours, a nice couple inside let us in. Glad we weren't jewel thiefs. Pool was not kept up and out of service. Free ear plugs on the pillows instead of mints. Seriously, free ear plugs were in the room due to noisy interstate right outside. Trees at the exit of the hotel created extremely hazardous issues with seeing oncoming traffic, 75 to 80 percent obstruction of your view.

    Bad location next to major freeway. Scary and dark open parking lot around and in front of Hotel. No visible sign showing name of hotel. Nasty electronic entry door, to lobby, dirty carpet and dark hall on 6th floor, pool and pool area was not inviting. Inside room was noisy due to loud traffic noise. Breakfast in morning was poorly presented with minimal choices. I would never stay there again no matter the price.

    I have stayed at La Quinta hotels for years. This hotel was in an ideal location for my outings. However, the halls were not clean and carpet showed excessive wear and tear. My room was exceptionally clean, but there were roaches on two occasions. I liked how I was able to keep the room temp cool, but the refrigerator was so cold my veggies and yogurt froze. The staff was amazing and that's why I overlooked the other issues. I believe I still got the best of this hotel stay and was largely impressed with my Texas-shaped waffle.

We checked in on Friday and on our Sunday night stay, at least six cars were broken into, with one truck having all its windows smashed out and its contents scattered across the parking lot. This is unacceptable and a major concern for any traveler. **Staff Awareness and Lack of Action** While the staff was friendly and accommodating, it's clear that they are aware of the issue and take steps to cover it up quickly. By 9 am on Monday morning, after all the cops and evidence of the broken glass was gone. However, we noticed broken car window glass and empty beer bottles on the way to our car every morning beforehand, suggesting that this is a recurring problem. The solution to this problem is straightforward: installing surveillance cameras and a patrolling security guard would go a long way in deterring future incidents. Unfortunately, it appears that the hotel is not taking adequate steps to address this issue, leaving guests' cars vulnerable to theft, even in front of the reception area. We checked into another hotel across the highway, less than 0.1 miles away, and were not the only guests to do so due to the safety concerns at La Quinta. This should give you an idea of the level of concern among travelers. Based on our experience, I would not recommend, pictures are misleading

    There are cameras, but no one is watching them. If so I would.think they would have called cops while it was happening. We got small papers that they where aware of the break ins on our windshields. We stay on the 2nd floor , same as the check in desk. We had people playing loud music, talking loud in the hallways till sometime after 1am. Leaving for a medical apt to see your car window shattered and car ransacked, just puts a bad taste in your mouth.

    I definitely wouldn’t stay here again. We had gotten a non smoking room with a king bed for me my husband and 3yr old and the moment we entered the room there was a heavy cigarette smell so we let them know before settling in, they gave us another room but I’m pretty sure that one was smaller than our original room. We found a live roach and a few other bugs throughout our stay.

    Super bad experience. My car and more than 6 other guests had ours vandalized. The windows on the passenger side were broken, and the hotel didn't take responsibility for the damages. They told me it wasn't the first time the owner or the manager had done anything about it. It's normal for them, and they hide behind the excuse that they signed a document stating that they are responsible if something happens.

    Clean and quiet. Huge rooms with coffee maker and a microwave. Friendly and helpful staff. Especially appreciated the ability to use my Netflix account with the room’s television system. Also walking distance (10-15 minutes) to public transportation and near a CVS a Trader Joe’s and several restaurants. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and relaxed. Only small negative was that this is a pet-friendly chain, and the room definitely smelled as though a pet had stayed there recently (so be warned if you have allergies), but overall an exceedingly positive stay.

    Parking was difficult and didn’t feel very secure, which was a concern. The area around the hotel was also quite loud, making it tough to relax. On a positive note, breakfast was good and offered a decent variety. However, the biggest issue was with billing — I was charged three times. While one extra charge was corrected after I called, the other one was never resolved, which was frustrating and disappointing. Overall, the stay had some positives, but between the noise, parking, and billing issues, I wouldn’t rush back.

    Dead and live roaches in the room and in hallway. Spider wed with dead bugs in it in hallway. Beer bottles, trash and 2 old barbecue grills around the pool.

    Getting desk clerk was not helpful and he kept telling me to call expedia and to hope they would care because he didn't know how to help me with check in issues. I was told before booking they had joining rooms and they did not. Immediately entering one room there was a large water leak from the ceiling it had nasty odor and carpet was soaked and the other room smelled and we found a roach climbing on the wall. When i tried speaking with the front desk person he said there was "not really anything he could do". Breakfast was ok but there was barely any food and no where to sit .. all hotel employees were rather snide and did not seem to care about hotel guests. The best part was the pool and it looked cloudy and a little green as if they didn't know how to put chemicals in to clean it.

    The property has failed to maintain what appeared to be decent renovations at the time. The hotel is dirty with trash being left in the hallways. Multiple items were found on the pool floor, including a bathroom knob with a screw and a nail, creating not only a dirty environment for children but also unsafe. The chairs in the lobby are deteriorating. Additionally, the hotel falsely advertised daily housekeeping but after our room remained uncleaned we contacted the front desk and were then informed they only provide cleaning every 3 days unless requested. No wonder the hotel is falling apart. They are so quick to upcharge their customers but they are not even prpviding the basic services that they advertise. I usually like la quinta but this has changed my opinion of this hotel brand.
