Reviews
The hotel is praised for its excellent service, friendly and accommodating staff, and beautiful property. However, there are several complaints about ongoing construction, lack of disclosure about resort fees, and issues with room amenities.

We had an unexpected layover due to a canceled flight. Since we did not have our luggage, the staff kindly provided all of the necessary toiletries for us at no additional charge. You were very kind and concerned. The place was beautiful and the rooms were well adorned. We will stay here again someday.
- 3/5
The front desk was amazingly kind and helpful. We stayed for one night as a staycation. It was a very vanilla property. The pool, decor, events… all very meh. We were planning on staying two nights and cut our time short and opted to go home.
- 5/5
Exceptionally well maintained and attentive staff. Resort pool includes nice shady and sunny areas.
- 5/5
Ritz never disappoints and this location didn't either. Amazing hotel, staff, food options, golf options and pool. The Villas are worth the added expense....very spacious and quiet.
- 1/5
This was not the response I’m used to from the Ritz and suggest guests chose another property or location. Easily worst experience I’ve ever had and disappointing for a hotel they claims world class hospitality and service.

I Love the new upgrades
- 4/5
Very nice and the staff were exceptional. Our room was extremely dusty especially the blinds to the balcony. A bathroom light was flickering and the shower head leaked. Great place just not quiet 5 stars.
- 4/5
Rooms are small, no double sinks in bathroom.
- 2/5
The transportation fleet at hotel forgot to pick myself up at airport, also made another appointment for departure and never followed through also. The bathroom had no towels or wash clothes for 2 days.

Just an extremely dated property. Not even close to what we expect from Ritz Carlton. We will not be back.
- 4/5
Room was clean and staff was great. The room had a bit of an old odor which was off-putting

I can't think of anything we were not pleased with.

Megan greeted us with a smile and quick check in. She explained the amenities and asked if we needed assistance with anything. Our room was beautiful and clean. The beds were comfortable and the morning coffee on our private balcony was perfect.

Everything was perfect. Excellent high-end stay. Great Gym, fun at the pool & high-end dining. Extremely helpful staff, very attentive. Beautiful views all around. When ordering food at the pool or the other restaurant outside of Knife, in other words "Confort food" during the stay, the serving should be more robust. I mean if you're going to charge 30 dollars for a cheeseburger with fries, the cheeseburger shouldn't be the size of a white castle burger, and the serving of fries shouldn't be the size of a kiddie fries order. Outside of this small detail, everything else was perfection.

Of perfume. Second room toilet full of poop. Was told if it doesn’t flush down call back. Was told I have to figure out how to order room service via TV and that I was welcome to come downstairs to get a newspaper when asked if any available. Also, price raised $159 day before or lose my original payment. About $1000/night for horrific service. Bonus points is the response. A full refund is in order. I miss the old Four Seasons.
- 5/5
Staff was amazing. Concierge staff was 5 and was instrumental when my phone broke in facilitating the shipment my new phone and keeping it charged on a bed when it couldn’t be charged from the port. Will def stay here again when in Dallas
- 5/5
Great staff. Family friendly. Pet friendly.

Our stay at the Ritz Carlton las colinas was ok. I was meaning to book the downtown property but guess I misread the listing and neither Expedia nor RC would let me change it. So we were a bit further out than we hoped but it was not a bad commute so we were relieved.Every person from the hotel staff were extremely attentive to our minimal needs. Great friendly attitudes that are happy to help any way they can. I don’t play Golf but the huge swimming pool was fantastic with very little ppl traffic making it easy to relax. My only complaint is the cost of the restaurants in the quality of the food. I’m honestly pretty easy to please for the price of their food. You think it would be top gourmet quality, but it was far from it. It was cold actually. They have a breakfast buffet beware and make sure you know what you’re getting into before you order it. When I got the receipt, I had absolute sticker shot. I got a fall into the IHOP. And back it had been food. I mean, hotels are expensive, but they seem even worse than average. Other than that we had a great time.

We are very happy with our stay, and the spa was amazing! We will definitely be staying here in the future.

Amazing welcome and introduction to the Ritz-Carlton experience!!! Michael was exceptional helpful with any questions we had and helped us when selecting the wrong type of room. For my birthday he ensured we got the correct room with the perfect view! An amazing 2 day stay !! Absolutely will be back!!
- 5/5
The cleanliness and security!! The views immaculate! One young lady (staff that walks the rooms to ensure guest don’t need anything) who asked us if we were checking out gave me the weirdest look when I told her my room was just extended another day. The side eye she thought I didn’t see was the only aggravating ordeal. Everyone else fantastic in every way from arrival to departure.

- 2/5
The property is insufficiently updated.
- 3/5
We stay there and I was disappointed in the room we were in bc we had limited space due to an extra table they had the refrigerator on. I made a complaint and didn’t receive any incentive for our inconvenience! They blamed it on housekeeping. It’s not worth the price. I’ve stayed at an Aloft for 120 dollars and it was nicer. I don’t recommend this hotel. The restaurant inside the hotel is amazing great customer service and food!!

It did not feel like a a Ritz Property. We were in area that was part of a private club. It was not the normal Ritz Carlton way!

I had an amazing overnight stay. All of the staff were happy to be at work and super courteous. My room was comfortable, clean and quiet. The bathroom was amazing and spacious. Customer service is top tier!
- 5/5
One of best hospitality i ever had
- 4/5
Seemed overly focused on nickel/diming. They sent 7 different bills via email to us during the lesss than 24hr stay. Charged for parking and a resort fee. I upgraded to the breakfast package but had to call for them to remove that charge a day later

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay at The Ritz Carlton Las Colinas! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Jason at the front desk was an absolute gem—so kind, thoughtful, and genuinely attentive to our needs. When they learned about my fiancé’s dog passing recently, they left a touching gift in our room as a condolence, which meant the world to us. The entire team was incredibly courteous, and the level of service was impeccable. The property itself is stunning, but it’s the people who truly make this place special. We’ll be back without hesitation—5 stars all the way!

Outstanding service, beautiful infrastructure.
- 5/5
Clean, well maintained, exceptional service and staff.

The Las Colinas area is gorgeous. The Ritz property on the golf course blends in and looks great. We had a great visit and throughly enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. We had great food, drinks, and experience at Knife Italian. There was a bit of a wait for room service at times, but the food was delicious. 10/10 over all.
- 5/5
I expected the stay to be good, but R-C, Los Colinas exceeded that expectation. Clayton is the best in the business.

- 5/5
This is one of the most beautiful properties in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with a beautiful pool and wonderful restaurants and bars. Staff is top notch.
- 3/5
Late night menu was mentioned being 24/7. Menu was wrong. Times are wrong. Phone didn’t work. Called from cellphone and no one answered. Had to walk downstairs just to be told there were “cold cuts” available. Staff was great and handled it well. But super disappointing food.
- 5/5
The staff was accommodating and friendly. I love the bedtime service I received. The service overall was excellent. I did not like paying for self-parking.
- 5/5
Stayed here for two days before heading to Spain and Budapest. Out of other 5 star hotels this was the best luxury hotel.
- 4/5
With regards to the music played at the pool, I was talking on the phone before it started up for the day and actually had to finish the call as the person on the other end could not hear me. As this was durning the week and there were only 3 people at the pool it would have been much more pleasant if the music had been softer.
- 5/5
Pool was not open this time of year
- 5/5
great for family. the only negative was tuve construction around the pool but certainly will be even better when finished. loved it . amazing workout facility and spa
- 5/5
The staff made this one of the most memorable stays I’ve ever had away from home. The turn down service, the room service, opening doors for guests, just their willingness to please you and make you feel like royalty. I am so grateful for their service.
- 5/5
Great service and excellent quality!
- 5/5
Our stay with the Ritz Carlton Las Collinas was so enjoyable. The property is beautiful and the staff was so willing to go above and beyond to make the experience a pleasure. We will be staying at this hotel when we travel to Dallas.
- 5/5
Absolutely gorgeous property!
- 2/5
Disappointing that the swimming pool was unable to be used due to construction. Limitations for children at the property
- 4/5
We were delayed from DFW due to the airport shutting down due to weather and Tabatha at the front desk was very an accommodating and very friendly! If I’m ever in the Dallas area I would definitely stay there again
- 5/5
The facilities were very nice, and the staff was awesome. Cory and Kris were amazing. Nothing.
- 1/5
Woke up early in the morning to jack hammering. Entire place is under construction - couldn't go outside - scheduled massage and spa closed - massage is in vacant hotel room. No disclosure about construction activity. Basically no amenities. Should be closed until construction is complete!
- 5/5
The staff was amazing!!! Nothing
- 5/5
Great staff and terrific, warm service
- 5/5
Amazing service and great quality
- 5/5
Excellent stay. There was construction during our stay but that did not really affect our stay. The only negative aspect was that at no point were we told there was resort fees (and you wouldn’t expect them especially when the facilities were closed for construction) but on check out it was mentioned for the first time that we had $45 for each day. Obviously very disappointing as otherwise it was a great stay.
- 5/5
Excellent resort, my husband and I very happy . See you soon
- 5/5
This is such an amazing property! We stayed one night but wish I could have stayed more.
- 3/5
Finding menues for the restaurants are impossible or wrong. You have to walk to the restaurants. Then the food wasn't amazing - which is sad since you spend a small fortune on it. We got stranded at the hot tub FOREVER because there were no towels and it was freezing! Luckily i had my cell, but i had to call them twice. :( We got next to a joining room, and the doors are way to close together. I kept thinking someone was walking into our room! The room was nice! The beds were comfy and loved the balcony. This was a night for me to have fun with my kids, so i was super sad the indoor pool was closed. Again this should have FULLY disclosed.

It took between 35 to 45 minutes to get our drinks at pool side food took 45 minutes. We were woke up at 7:50 am by sawing, hammering.

Property was nice, but lots of construction in and around the Resort right now. Due to Ritz-Carlton buying and renovating the original Four Seasons property

Truly exceptional staff and property. From the moment I pulled up to valet to check in, to in-room dining service, every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make me feel welcomed. The room was very comfortable with great amenities. I will absolutely stay here again!

- 5/5
Excellent stay at Las Colinas Resort.
- 3/5
The staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to accommodate me and a friend who both happened to be stranded in Dallas at the same time on account of a blizzard. The food from the steakhouse restaurant was excellent. Given the price of our stay, there were a few things that were subpar and, frankly, not acceptable. First, the television in the room was inferior and came across as a means by which the hotel tried to gouge its own customers. Unlike those in most hotels (including those that are considerably cheaper) either the television was not a smart tv or its streaming options were limited to pay-per-view., meaning that you could not log in to your Netflix, YouTube, or other streaming accounts. Smart TVs have become industry standard in hotels for this very reason. However, in order to watch anything other than live, basic cable at Las Colinas, you had to pay for it, and at a completely unreasonable price point. TVs at Las Colinas should not be inferior to those at much cheaper hotels. But they are, and adding insult to injury, they make you *pay more* just to be able to watch anything of your choosing. Second, the towels and robes in the room were about as soft as sandpaper. At a hotel this expensive, they should be spa quality, no exceptions. Instead, they were stiff, scratchy, and altogether uncomfortable. One could literally buy nicer towels and robes at Walmart, on the cheap. I cannot for the life of me understand why this is a corner the hotel would choose to cut. Third, the mattresses were stiff, uncomfortable and low quality. When paying over $500 per night at a hotel, one of the very first things a guest expects is a high quality, luxury mattress that allows for a comfortable, rejuvenating night sleep. An uncomfortable mattress is the surest way to alienate many guests, myself included. I’m not exaggerating when I say that the mattresses at a Holiday Inn Express are much more comfortable. The mattresses in our room at Las Colinas were more comparable to those at a Ramada. Ruminate on that for a while. Lastly, the furnishings in our room simply were not commensurate with the price we paid. They felt dated, cookie-cutter, cheap, and a very, very far cry from luxury.
- 4.5/5
location close to people we were visiting
- 2/5
They said there was a cook to order in room dinning that didn't have any regular breakfast stuff on the menu. We are a couple why would I want my husband/ or myself to be in a hot tub with men/ or women only with no couple option. I thought I was staying at the 4 seasons but they got bought out by another company again disappointing because I should've bern told this information so I could have the option of going some place else.
- 5/5
The staff at the property was very friendly. There was an issue checking in but it was an error on Expedia not the hotel. The lady at the desk was very helpful in getting the issue fixed. Staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay
- 5/5
Room neighbors were a little loud and hot tub occupants were loud
- 4/5
The property is little older but well maintained and clean. The star of the show is the pool area, which is super relaxing and well kept/serviced. Food and beverage are a let down. There is a pub but it has a very limited menu. LAW, which is the main restaurant, has very poor quality food (service ok). So, I would recommend not eating at the hotel. I had two dogs with me and everyone were super accommodating. Very pet friendly hotel, which was great. The spa is worth trying; very enjoyable experience.
- 5/5
The staff was very accommodating.
- 2/5
Very disappointed. Waste of money
- 5/5
Amazing service, comfortable rooms, excellent dining and lots of family activities. The indoor sports facility is worth the entire cost of the stay and the atmosphere will leave you feeling refreshed!
- 5/5
Very clean, staff very friendly and helpful
- 5/5
The rooms were a little outdated, especially for how much you¿re paying.
- 5/5
Resort feel
- 3/5
Property is older. Staff were very friendly. For the cost we expected much nicer. Golf course is amazing .
- 5/5
The resort was very relaxing and we spent a great week on holiday. The golf course and the practice facilities are exceptional. The only issue was people blocking off chairs at the pool in order to reserve them and then not using them for 4 hours. There were a few occasions when was no seating at the pool at all. I think this needs to be monitored.
- 5/5
Everywhere smelled good Pool was clean and relaxing Gym activities were great Spa was luxurious Room was clean and had nice amenities
- 5/5
Great customer service!!
- 5/5
Concierge was amazing. Staff was very friendly…very clean and TPC was great
- 3/5
pricing way too high for the location and site.
- 5/5
My husband and I loved every bit of our stay. We were celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and when the staff heard that, they wished us happy anniversary and gave us a complimentary dessert with happy anniversary written on the plate. This was done twice. Once when we ordered room service and another time when we ate at the Law restaurant. The staff all around the hotel were very sweet. Everyone from the people at registration, to the restaurant, to the room service and cleaning staff, to the spa and it’s locker room. They were all so sweet and kind even during an ice/snow storm. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
- 5/5
The best experience at a hotel we have ever had!
- 5/5
Fantastic place and very luxurious. Great service and great staff that is very professional and prompt on everything. Great experience thank you!
- 5/5
New Years getaway. What a wonderful place to stay. From the moment we entered we were greeted and welcomed. To the valet and front desk we were treated with the best hospitality and customer service. We had dinner at the Law restaurant. Great service and great food. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Would recommend this resort to all my friends and family
- 2/5
Great property but the room was really tired. Scratched up furniture, stained and pilled carpet, shower head had excessive leaking and calcium build up. Balcony sliding door was very hard to open and close. I felt like it was last updated in the late 80's. It had a phone in the bathroom... LOL. For a very expensive hotel, I expected to at least be able to get a table for breakfast at the restaurant but unfortunately was turned away. They were "full" but I saw many empty tables. Was not told at check in that I should be reserving a table for breakfast. Positive note: the bed so incredibly comfortable.
- 5/5
Service at bar was slow otherwise everything was great
- 3/5
The lobby, amenities, and guest room were beautiful and comfortable. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The quality and diversity of the food was mediocre and ridiculously expensive. I realize I chose to stay at a Four Seasons resort, but c’mon! Food and beverage staff were untrained and lacked the professionalism that Four Seasons is noted for.
- 2/5
The rooms are small and the interior fixtures and construction are cheap. Nothing at this hotel that makes it comparable to other Four Seasons around the world!
- 5/5
I really enjoyed my stay. Dinner on Sat night was very good and the steaks were awesome. We watched of football games in the bar and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The brunch buffet on Sunday and also very good and the salsa on the omelette is some of the best I have ever had. Played golf on Sun and the staff at the course were great and helpful. The TPC course was in great shape.
- 5/5
Loved the view. Spa was magical.
- 5/5
Great service. Beautiful location
- 5/5
We especially enjoyed the food, the racquetball courts, the pools, the Dallas Zoo Experience, and the outdoor movie.
